spoiled, please take a detour and hit the Back button now. However if
you want to be spoiled or need some help, please scroll down as far as
you need to. Consider this as your Spoiler Warning!

READER'S NOTE: I'll be saying this again later down the walkthrough, but
this walkthrough only covers the Secret Goals in the game, and how to
find them.

SECTION 1: |INTRO|
           -----

     -------------
 A: |Version Guide|
     -------------

Version 1.0: Just finished making the walkthrough for the game,
and submitted it to GameFAQS (08/31/06)

     -------------------------------------------
B: |The Story Of Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land|
     -------------------------------------------

"Be a bad boy! Wario schemes to steal all pirates treasures on
Kitchen Island so he can build his own castle! Help him by
smashing the magic pots, because this will change him into Bull
Wario, Dragon Wario and many others! With each change there will
come new powers so he can beat his enemies!"

     --------------------------------------
 C: |What Is Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land|
     --------------------------------------

The title "Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land" is quite unique. It's
the end of one series (Super Mario Land) and the beginning of
another (Wario Land). This game is pretty much a side scroller in
the tradition of Super Mario Brothers series (various power-ups).
Although there are 40 levels, each level is rather short and to
    the point. Enjoy!

     ----------------------
 D: |About This Walkthrough|
     ----------------------

Okay this is important. This is a special walkthrough, which is
used to help you get through the 5 Secret Goals of the game,
only. Keep in mind that the normal goals are not listed and won't
be. Also I made a checklist towards the bottom of the walkthrough,
so you can mark off which goals you have beaten. I hope this
helps out as much as possible.

     ---------------------
 E: |Control Configuration|
     ---------------------

I assume you have a basic idea of all the control combinations, so
    here is the basic stuff:

    LEFT D-PAD: Moves left
    RIGHT D-PAD: Moves right
    UP D-PAD: Climbs ladder
DOWN D-PAD: Crouches down/Climbs down ladder
'A' BUTTON: Jumps (Push UP to jump higher)
    'B' BUTTON: Runs/Shoulder Ram/Flies/Breathes Fire
    START BUTTON: Pauses the game
    SELECT BUTTON: Does nothing

SECTION 2: |WALKTHROUGH|
           -----------

     ----------------------
 A: |Before The Walkthrough|
     ----------------------

    1. Although I have specific requirements for some of the levels,
in order to get the Treasure from their chest, you must be Super
Wario or higher in order to open it (you have to use the 'B'
Button to open it and as Small Wario, nothing happens when you
    press the 'B' Button).

    2. Once you get the Treasure, you don't have to beat the level.
You can either die or go through the Starting Point Door and still
have the Treasure in your collection.

     ----------
 B: |Rice Beach|
     ----------

        --------------------
    1: |Course 03/Treasure A|
        --------------------

       REQUIREMENTS:
You must be Dragon Wario (if not there is a Dragon Cap in this
level). You must also defeat the boss of Rice Beach first
       before looking for this Treasure.

       FINDING THE KEY:
From the start, make your way to the second water pond (not
counting the one you start in). Defeat all the enemies, and use
Dragon Wario's fire attack on the second block (on the ground)
and the Key will be revealed.

       FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR:
After getting the Key, head left and you will instantly find
it. This may be tricky because the Giant Locked Door is
surrounded by Pirahna Plants so be careful. Enter the door and
you will have found Treasure A.

     ----------
 C: |Mt. Teapot|
     ----------

        --------------------
    1: |Course 09/Treasure B|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure.

FINDING THE KEY: Make your way to the fourth screen. Hit the
last block on this screen (near the door) and inside it will be
       a Key.

FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR: Finding the locked door will be a bit
tricky. After getting the Key, head back left, and you will see
three platforms within the waterfall. Make your way to the top
platform and on there, there is a hidden door somewheres. In
this new room, go right, smashing through the blocks, and at
the other end, there will be the Giant Locked Door. Enter the
door and you will have found Treasure B.

        --------------------
    2: |Course 11/Treasure C|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: You need to be Jet Wario to get to this Treasure.
Other than that, nothing else is required.

FINDING THE KEY: Make your way to the third screen. Once there,
climb down the ladder (avoiding the Spearmens), and head over
to the door. Ignore that and nearby is a Jet Cap. Get that then
jump and fly back and forth between the platforms, working your
way upwards. Soon as you get to the highest point, you will see
a block which will have the Key in it.

FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR: From where you found the Key, just fly
to the right and you will get to the Giant Locked Door. Enter
it and you will have found Treasure C.

     ------------
 D: |Sherbet Land|
     ------------

        --------------------
    1: |Course 16/Treasure D|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure.

FINDING THE KEY: Hit the very first block you see when starting
this level to get the Key (how easy is that!).

FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR: With the Key, make your way to the
third group of 4 blocks. Drop the Key nearby and smash through
the blocks to reveal a door. Take the Key and enter the door
and on this screen, carefully make your way through to the
otherside and you will find the Giant Locked Door. Enter it and
you will have found Treasure D.

        --------------------
    2: |Course 17/Treasure E|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure.

FINDING THE KEY: From the start, make your way to the first
door you come across. Enter that, then climb up the ladder
(there are several Sniper Soliders) and when you reach the top,
enter that door. In this room, you will see 3 blocks on the top
row. Hit the middle one for the Key.

       FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR:
With the Key in your possession, head back to the first screen.
From the first door you were at, head right two more doors and
enter that. Now this will be tricky. Use the Carrier on the
right to take you upwards and there will be a platform with the
Giant Locked Door there. Enter it and you will have found
       Treasure E.

        --------------------
    3: |Course 18/Treasure F|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure.

FINDING THE KEY: Follow this carefully. On the first screen,
make your way to the first door you come across and enter it.
In there, go to the otherside and hit the '!' Block, then
return back to the previous screen. Now you should see a ladder
next to you. Climb that, then follow the path to the door and
enter that. In this room, follow the path (avoiding Thwomps),
hitting the blocks along the way, and you will uncover the Key.
Since you can't get it yet, go right and enter through the
door. On this screen, drop all the way down, in the middle
area. Hit the '!' Block, then make your way back up to the
previous room. Go after the Key and you will then have it in
       your posession.

FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR: With the Key, head left and go through
the door. You'll be back at the first screen, so follow the
path all the way to the edge. Drop down and at the bottom, go
left and follow the path till you reach the Giant Locked Door.
Enter it and you will have found Treasure F.

     ------------
 E: |Stove Canyon|
     ------------

        --------------------
    1: |Course 20/Treasure G|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure.

FINDING THE KEY: This will be very tricky to get to. From the
start, head all the way to where the path zig-zags downwards
(goes right then left then goes right). There will be a block
there, which has the Key inside it.

       FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR:
With the Key in hand, quickly and carefully make it to the
otherside of this first screen, then enter the door at the
otherside. On this second screen, head right to the ladder,
then climb up it. At the top, head left a bit where there will
be a Giant Locked Door. Enter it and you will have found
       Treasure G.

        --------------------
    2: |Course 24/Treasure H|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure.

FINDING THE KEY: To find the Key, this will take a bit of work
to do. Make your way through the first screen. On the second
screen, climb up the ladder then make your way to the ladder at
the otherside. Climb down it, then head right and hit the '!'
Block, then go into the door nearby. In this room, go into the
water and swim to the rightside. Hit the block on the right,
and that it will reveal the Key.

FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR: Now that you have the Key, head back
to the beginning of this level where you will find the Giant
Locked Door. Enter it and you will have found Treasure H.

     -----------
 F: |SS Teap Cup|
     -----------

        --------------------
    1: |Course 26/Treasure I|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure.

FINDING THE KEY: From the start, make your way through the
first screen. On the second screen, make your way to the
otherside, but don't enter the door. Jump up on the block then
stand just on the left edge and jump to reveal another one.
Jump up on that and to the right. Climb up the ladder and enter
the door. Make your way through the third and fourth screen
(the door is in the last group of blocks on the upper level).
On the fifth screen, make your way to the other door, and hit
the '!' Block then go back to the previous room. Swim up the
middle shaft all the way to the top, then go into the door. In
here, hit the block on the left to reveal the Key, and the
       '!' Block.

FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR: Now with the Key, you should remember
how to get to the Giant Locked Door leading to the Treasure.
Head to it and the door will open up. Enter it and you will
       have found Treasure I.

        --------------------
    2: |Course 29/Treasure J|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure,
however it will take a lot of running around to find both the
       Key and Treasure.

FINDING THE KEY: To find the Key, make your way through the
first screen. On the second screen, head over to the ladder,
the climb it up one floor, then head right all the way to the
other ladder. Climb it and get to the next floor and go right
and head to the door and enter it. On the third screen, head
down the ladder all the way to the bottom, then go left past
the door, up the ladder then left again (passing the door) then
up the third ladder, and enter the door at the otherside. You
should now be on the fourth screen, which you will go right and
up the ladder to the next floor. Skip the first door you see
and enter the second door. You will now see 2 blocks as well as
a Thwomp. Hit the left block for the Key, and use the Thwomp to
climb up there. Now you have the Key.

FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR: With the Key in your posession, head
to the previous room, then go left and down the ladder and left
again and through the door. Back on the third screen, make your
way down the ladder and enter the first door you see. This will
take you back to the second screen (note that this is a one way
warp). Once on the second screen, head left to the ladder and
climb up it. At the top you will see the Giant Locked Door.
Enter it and you will have found Treasure J.

        --------------------
    3: |Course 30/Treasure K|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure,
however if you are Bull Wario, you will be able to bypass one
       room.

FINDING THE KEY: On this first screen, head to the first door
you come across. Either go in it, or if you're Bull Wario,
proceed onwards ignoring the next door you see. If you went in
the door, follow the path to the other door and enter it,
you'll be back at the first screen. Continue all the way to the
otherside and enter the door. On the second screen, head right,
go up the ladder, then left and up the next ladder and through
the door. On the third screen, stay on the bottom level and
head to the otherside. Once there, climb up the ladder to the
next floor, then climb the ladders above you to reach the next
floor. Up here is two blocks, which the right one has the Key
       in it.

       FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR:
With the Key in hand, make your way back to the Giant Locked
Door, which you passed up making your way to where the Key is.
Enter it and you will have found Treasure K.

     -------------
 G: |Prasley Woods|
     -------------

        --------------------
    1: |Course 31/Treasure L|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure.

FINDING THE KEY: From the start, head over to the ladder and
drop down beside it. Walk a few steps and in front of you is
several blocks. One of them is the Key.

FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR: With the Key in your grasp, continue
going right and follow the path to the next ladder. Climb up it
and follow the path past the row of coins and the ladder. Now
just keep going normally until you reach the end of this level.
Once at the ending goal, you'll see a narrow gap beforehand.
Drop down in it and there will be the Giant Locked Door. Enter
it and you will have found Treasure L.

        --------------------
    2: |Course 34/Treasure M|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure.

FINDING THE KEY: To find this Key, from the start, make your
way up the first screen to the door at the top and enter it. On
the second screen, swim all the way to the top part, avoiding
the enemies here, and enter the door. On the third screen, make
your way upwards, ignoring the first door and going into the
second door at the very top. On the fourth screen, swim all the
way until you get to a 3-way intersection. Once there, head
left and swim all the way (ignore the small gap you see) to the
end. Enter the door you see and out here, climb the ladder all
the way up. You will see a block next to the goal, which has
       the Key in it.

FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR: With the Key, head back to the
previous room, and swim back to the 3-way intersection. Now
this time head right and swim till you reach the door. Enter
that, then climb upwards on the platforms until you reach
another door. Enter that, then climb up the ladder and you will
see the Giant Locked Door. Enter it and you will have found
       Treasure M.

     ------------
 H: |Syrup Castle|
     ------------

        --------------------
    1: |Course 37/Treasure N|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: Nothing is really required to find the Treasure.

FINDING THE KEY: Make your way to the otherside of this first
screen. At the otherside is a door. Ignore that and hit the
block you see before it (it's on the lower level). Inside that,
       is the Key.

FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR: With the Key, stay on the lower level
and walk right, and you will walk through the wall. At the
otherside of this dark path will be the Giant Locked Door.
Enter it and you will have found Treasure N.

        --------------------
    2: |Course 39/Treasure O|
        --------------------

REQUIREMENTS: You need to be Bull Wario, then Dragon Wario to
get to the Treasure. Dragon Wario isn't necessary, but will
       make it easier.

FINDING THE KEY: Make your way through the first screen and the
second screen. On the third screen, make your way until you see
two white bounce blocks next to each other (other blocks will
be above it). Buttstomp the blocks to destroy them, and use the
bounce blocks to jump upwards and you will uncover a new
pathway. Follow the path to the otherside and enter the door.
Now on the fourth screen, head up the upper right path and at
the top is a block with the Key in it.

FINDING THE LOCKED DOOR: After getting the Key, head back to
the door, and go down the lower right path. At the bottom is
some blocks, one that has a Dragon Cap in it. Now as Dragon
Wario, head back to the door, and now go up the upper left
path. At the top will be several blocks. Blast through them
all, and head to the Giant Locked Door. Enter it and you will
       have found Treasure O.

        ----------------------------
    I: |Treasure Locations Checklist|
        ----------------------------

In order to get a perfect game, one of the requirements is that
you need to find all 15 Treasures. Now below is a checklist of
all those Treasures. To help a little bit, I've compiled a
checklist of all the levels in the game. This list can be done
in any order you wish to do. Also to make it a bit better I
would suggest printing this section off if you want, so you
don't mark all over your monitor ^_^. Keep in mind, you can
view how many Treasures you have by completing a level or
getting a new Treasure. When all the slots are filled up, then
you have collected them all (which I'm sure you already knew
       that).

          Treasure   Treasure   Treasure   Treasure   Treasure
          A    [ ]   B    [ ]   C    [ ]   D    [ ]   E    [ ]

          Treasure   Treasure   Treasure   Treasure   Treasure
          F    [ ]   G    [ ]   H    [ ]   I    [ ]   J    [ ]

          Treasure   Treasure   Treasure   Treasure   Treasure
          K    [ ]   L    [ ]   M    [ ]   N    [ ]   O    [ ]

On top of finding all 15 Treasures, you will also need to get
max coins (99,999 Coins) and find all (and complete) all 40
Levels to get the best ending in the game.

 C: |The Disclaimer|
     --------------

Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land was a pretty okay game. It was the
beginning of a new character in the Super Mario series, and that
is Wario! However, personally, I would perfer the VirtualBoy
version instead. Why this walkthrough then? I figure I would make
this FAQ since I made another one for this game. I made this
walkthrough the best way I can and I hope it helps out in every
way possible. Now here comes the important stuff you need to read.

Ok, I'll make this quick and simple. This walkthrough is my work.
I've made this walkthrough, describing the game the best possible
way I can. You can use whatever info you want, so long as you give
me credit and don't alter anything. All you have to do is email me
at [email protected] if you're gonna do anything with
this walkthrough. And to show that I'm not a complete selfish
bastard, if you have something you wanna add, email me and I will
give you full credit ^_^. This walkthrough, like many others are
intended for GameFAQs ONLY. You want it on your site, well you
better start emailing me. Failure to comply with this, and I will
    be mad, among other things.
