1 - Introduction (NTRD)

Stop That Roach! is a puzzle game released for the Game Boy. Your goal is to
prevent roaches from eating snack food. You control a boy or a girl.

You are given five turns per level. There are no time limits. When you complete
all of your actions for the level, then the roaches can freely move and you are
unable to do anything. If you exterminate all roaches, you will proceed to the
next level. If a roach survives or consumes a snack, then the game is over.

This walkthrough reveals the intended solutions for every level.

2 - Controls (CTRL)

D-Pad = Moves your character, navigate menus.

A Button = Confirm.

B Button = Cancel, rotate a roach trap.

Start = Brings up the options screen.

Select = Pauses the game and displays the latest password.

3 - Commands (CMMD)

You are provided with six different commands during gameplay to stop roaches.
Certain commands will be unavailable during some levels.

1. Moving. Your character can walk one to five spaces on a grid, and then you
will have to turn to a cardinal direction.

2. Jumping. This action scares nearby roaches into running away.

3. Smashing the nearest roach with a slipper, which will also scare nearby
roaches.

4. Bashing a roach with a broom. The broom has a range of one to three spaces.

5. Using a spray can. This can kill up to four roaches.

6. Pass, which forfeits your remaining turns.

At the beginning of a level, you may also have to set down one or two roach
traps. They can be vertical (their initial position) or horizontal (by
rotating).

Trap: The trap needs to be horizontal. Place the trap one space above the soda
can, and make sure there are three spaces between the trap and the roach on the
left side.

Trap #1: This trap needs to be vertical. Put it between the two walls in the
middle of the screen.

Trap #2: This trap has to be vertical. Set the trap in the space between the
roach and the top soda can.

Trap: The trap has to be vertical. Place it directly below the banana.

you cannot move up.
