This is a FAQ for NBA Live '96 for Sega Genesis
NBA Live '96 is the first game I got for Sega Genesis. I think that when it
first came out, it was the best basketball game ever made for the Sega
Genesis.
Now to the FAQs.
For hidden characters, see the NBA Live '96 codes at SegaSages.com.
There are plenty of hidden characters, like NBA Greats, Rookies, and more.
If you ever wondered how you can get a created player's rating over 90, here's
how.
Go to create a player, and put in the name and other things. For the position,
make sure you put the created player as a SHOOTING GUARD or else the code wont
work. Then go to set Attributes. Put the SCORING to 90. Then go to CONTROL and
keep making it higher until eventually the OVERALL rating becomes 92.
As you know, you are limited to 32 Created players. And you want all the
rookies and greats right? But you dont want to fill up your Created Players
space. This is what you do: When you create a hidden character, just DO NOT
CHANGE HIS ATTRIBUTES. If you leave his attributes as is, it wont count as a
created player. You can create Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley and it wont
count as a created player. All of their attributes will already be there.
There number, weight, height, attributes, etc.
I'm not sure if this works, but try it. It works on NBA Live 95 and I think I
made it work on 96 once. For a Bonus Game of Golf, on the player select
screen, make a new user name and call it "Reflog". use the name, and if it
works, You should be playing golf.
Well that's all for now. If you have any other tips, or ways to get created
players better, please e-mail me at
