Welcome one and all to my first FAQ for the Gameboy. Power Rangers was an
important thing to me in my younger days. When I saw that this game had no
FAQ I couldn't pass up the chance. This was a rather intertaing action game,
with some good elements. I hope other will feel some nostalga playing this
game as I did.

Level: This is how hard the game is. Choose between normal and hard.

Password: You receive a password at the end of each level. Use these passwords
         to continue your progress if you shut off the game.

BGM/SE: This is a basic sound test feature. Use it to hear the background
       music and sound effects in the game.

A: Jump

B. Screen
--------------

Score: Tells you how many points you have earned.

Life: Self Explainitory. Lose all your bars and you die.

Power: When your power gauge is full, you gain the ability to Morph. Morphing
      makes the ranger twice as strong and refills the life bar. When using
      power after being morphed, your power will kill all enimies on screen.

Boss: This appears when there is a boss. This is the boss's life. Deplete this
     bar to move on.

Gamer Over: You have unlimited lifes. When this screen comes up press A to
           retry, or let it deplete to Zero to return to the title screen.
           When you retry the ranger will begin at the begining of the last
           Screen they were on.

C. Power Ups

Heart: Refills part of your life bar.

Power: Fills up part of your power bar.

VII. Rangers
********************************

There are two basic types of Rangers in this game that come in handy in
different areas. Although it is possible to go through the entire game using
only one type of ranger, it would be very difficult. Throught out this guide I
will refer to the ranger of choice as either Type 1 or Type 2.

Type 1
Rangers: Yellow, Black, Pink
Description: These rangers are faster and can jump to some platforms that
            Type 2 rangers can not. As a result these rangers are weaker than
            Type 2 ranges

Type 2
Rangers: Blue, Red, White
Description: These rangers have more strength than Type 1 ranges. These
            Rangers are slower than Type 1 rangers and can not jump as high.

Description: A floating mechanical eyeball

IX. Walkthrough
********************************

From the title screen select Game Start and press start. Than select your
enemy. In this FAQ we will be going from left to right and top to bottom.
Just like how you would read. You can how ever choose to do any of the first
five in any order you would like. Jump across the pits wether the
flamethrowers or on or not. If the flames don't hurt  you the Laser crawlers
will. You will come to land with out wholes in it. You can dodge the next
flamethrower just by passing though when it turns off.

A. Mordant
------------------

Screen 1:
Mordant is the first stage that we go to. He is the guy who looks like a boar.
This level is rather strait forward. Go forward and beat up puttys on your
way. Don't worry about killing all the putties, you won't be able to yet. When
you come across any peices of building on the ground, simply jump on then off
them. When it seems as if you can not go any further, kill all putties that
come at you. When the go sign appears you can move on. Keep advancing untill
you can exit of screen. If you can't you must kill any putties on screen.

Screen 2:
Sub-Boss: Lighting Spider
Description: A bug thing on the wall.
Ranger Type: Either
Attacks: Lighting, Flashing

Strategy: There are two places on screen where the lighting can not hit you.
         Stand in one of those spots. Now face the opposite direction of
         the middle of the screen. You are completely safe here. Go ahead
         go get a snack if you want. You can't hurt the spider while its
         flashing. After each strike of lighting it will fly off the wall.
         Hit the spider when it comes close to you. This is an easy victory.

After the battle advance forward. Kill putties when you can't go on. Repeat.

Screen 3:
Boss: Mordant
Description: A fat boar that stands on its hind legs.
Ranger Type: Either
Attacks: Fire Rain, Punch, Blow, Suck

Strategy: This boss can be difficult if you have no idea what your doing. But
         he is extremly easy if you do know what to do. His main attack is
         to have fire rain on you than suck you into it. What you have to do
         here is get as close to the fire ball nearest to mordant as you can.
         Do not go past that fire ball. He will try to suck you into it. You
         can avoid this by slowly walking in the opposite direction. When the
         fireball disappears quickly run at Mordant. He will now try and blow
         you away. When you get barely close enough to him, attack. Go to the
         middle of the screen. He will vanish and appear on either side of
         the screen. Repeat the process untill you beat him. Keep in mind
         that if you are too close to where he respawns, he will punch you.

Congratulations!!! You beat the first level. Not to hard, eh. Just when you
think the game is gonna be a cake walk, we get the next level.

B. Queen Tenga
------------------

Screen 1:
The first thing you will notice here is the bats. The ones in the air you
should duck to avoid. The ones at your feet you should kill. Don't waste time
trying to kill them, you will just lose more life than save. Also note that
there is spikes along the ceiling many times throughout the level. Go forward.
There will be rollers on the ground. These have the same effect as the
sucking and blowing of Mordant. The first one pushes against you the second
one does the opposite. You should see floating rollers with spikes underneith.
The direction of all rollers from this point forward shall be represented with
and arrow, that represents which way they push. Jump on first >roller. Than
the second <roller. Than jump on to land. That was fun. Walk on to the
>roller and crouch. Stand up when you reach the end. Jump on <roller. Than on
land and walk across <roller. You will encounter baby tengas. Kill them all to
advance. Jump on >roller, than <roller than land. Than jump <roller, <roller
land. You will encounter a ground blaster. It will shoot at you directly. It
does not shoot up. Can't really avoid it because of spikes. Only option is to
kill it and kill it fast. There should be two of them. They will cause rocks
to fall from the ceiling. Avoid them. Advance and jump over the spike pits.
Defeat all the cogs and advance.

Screen 2:
Wow that was hard. Now we come to one of the most frustrating points in the
game. What you need to do here is break all there vertical blocks, to advance.
There is about maybe 20 rows of blocks. After about the third of fourth block
a truck will start chasing you. As far as I know there is now way to control
a high and low attack. Now pay close attention. To break all three blocks in
the fastest manner you must hold forward than press attack twice. Than release
Forward and hold down. Press attack twice while crouch. Move forward and
repeat. You must do this as fast as you possibly can or you will not beat the
game. All right hard part over.

Screen 3:
Right away we are greeted with falling spikes. Walk ender them they will start
wiggling. Move out of the way quickly and they will not hit you. There are
only a couple. Go on <roller than >roller. Look familar more spikes, rollers
and bats. Jump on >roller than <roller to land. Jump over the spike pits and
go off screen

Screen 4:
Jump on to the mine cart. It will start moving control it using left or right.
You will reach another cart. Jump off of your cart onto the next one. Beware
of falling spikes. After two spikes fall. Crouch to avoid low ceilings. Jump
on to the next cart. Two spikes will fall. Crouch again. Two more spikes and
a low ceiling. Jump to the next cart. Two spikes will fall and than your ride
will end. Kill putties until your power bar is full. When it is morph. You
will now be able to advance.

Screen 5:
Boss: Queen Tenga
Description: A humanoid bird.
Ranger Type: Type 1
Attacks: Triple fire balls.

Strategy: If you have a type 1 ranger you will clearly have the advantage.
         Simply jump onto the high platform. When Tenga comes down, go to her
         and let her fire. When she jumps up hit her. Go to the other side
         and repeat. If you are using a Type 2 Ranger you will not be able
         jump on the platform. It is a miracle if you win with a type 2
         ranger. My best advice is to run at it and get off as many hits as
         you can and hope for a win.

You beat in my opinion the hardest level in the game. Good job.

------------------
C. Man-sized Rat
------------------

Screen 1:
Here is an important no to start of with. The bubbling liquid on the ground is
not harmful to you. Go ahead and walk in it if you so please. Go forward
Untill you reach a dead end. Kill all the baby Tengas to advance. Go forward
untill you reach the end of the walkway. Press up to go throw the door.

Screen 2: Go through the liquid. You can jump to move faster. There are two
         possible routes to get through the level. We are going to take the
         first one. The second route leads to a hard sub boss.

Screen 3: Go forward all the way to the exit.

Screen 4: Kill two Rocket Launching Putties. Then exit

Screen 5: Are you ready? Jump of the cliff and avoid and enemies in your way.
         Than exit.

Screen 6: Kill enough putties to morph. Than morph and exit.

Screen 7:
Boss: Man-sized Rat
Description: Giant Rat
Ranger Type: Either
Attacks: Flying Barrel Roll

Strategy: Easy boss. Just jump back and forth across the three platforms.
         When he rolls at you stop jumping and wait for him to go back in the
         water. Every once in a while he will jump up and look for you. When
         he does strike him. He will fall in no time

That was a lot easier than the Tenga level. Don't you agree?

------------------
D. Goldar
------------------
Screen 1:
Advance forward until you reach a dead end. After all the jumping mind you.
When you get there kill all the putties to advance. Go forward once again
untill you leave the screen.

Screen 2:
Jump up the platforms and avoid the rocks. These is easier with a Type 1
Ranger but can be done with both.

Screen 3:
Jump across the pits. You will be greeted by flying putties. There are to ways
to kill them keep punching while standing in place (takes a while). Jump in
the air and kick them in the side. You don't have to kill them until you reach
a dead end so don't waste your time trying. Also the putties can lay bombs
that can destroy the bridges you walk on. So kill them as quickly as possible
when needed. Advane after killing the putties. You will now meet camera
cannons. (like the name I made it myself). Pass or kill the three camera
cannons. Go on to the next screen.

Screen 4:
Avoid the Flying Putties untill you reach the top. At the top you will have
to kill them both in order to advance.

Screen 5: Advance to the dead end. Kill enought putties to morph than go to
         the next screen.

Screen 6:
Boss: Goldar
Description: Humainoid Griffon with a sword.
Ranger Type: Type 2
Attacks: Slash, Thrust, Double Image

Strategy: If your using a type 2 range this will be easy. Wait for your chance
         to strike. Than start mashing the attack button. If Goldar starts
         Slashing unconrolably at you back away and wait for your moment to
         strike. He will sometimes use double image. When he does imediatly
         attack the Goldar that remains when hes done. Goldar will fall
         quickly.  If you use a Type 1 ranger it will be harder but not
         impossible. Jump on the higher platform and wait for him to thrust.
         During the thrust walk off the platform and attack. Jump back on the
         platform and repeat.

Are you excitited only two levels left. I know I am. My fingers are sore.

------------------
E. Lord Zed
------------------

Screen 1:
Advance forward killing any putties in your way. Jump the gap when you come
to it. When you reach the end kill enough putties to advance.

Screen 2:
Jump up onto the platform. Kill the Launcher puttie. Walk forward of the
platform. Then left of the platform. Kill the Launcher puttie if you want.
Walk left off the platform. Kill the puttie and drop down the hole. Drop down
another whole. Kill the launcer puttie and advance to your right.

Screen 3:
Advance forward killing all putties in your way. Go to the next screen.

Screen 4:
You will find yourself on an elavator. Putties will drop down and attack you.
Kill them about the time you are ready to morph the elevator will stop. Morph
immediately if you can, you will probably need the life boost.

Sub-boss: Mech Bird
Description: Giant Bird with lasers
Ranger Type: Either
Attacks: Lasers, Smash

Strategy: Attack him with flying kicks only. Here is how to avoid his attacks.
         His smashing attack is easy to avoid. Just continously move across
         the screen right and left and he shouldn't be able to hit you.
         This is the ideal time to strike is after he gets done trying to
         smash you. His lasers are hard do dodge. Almost to the point of it
         being impossible. While moving left and right wait for his lasers.
         When he unleashes his lasers move twoards the center laser a bit,
         than crouch. After your safe attack him. It will take a couple tries
         to beat him.

Screen 5:
Move forward and defeat any ground crawlers in your way. Eventually you will
run into androids. Get them out of your way as well. Jump the whole when you
come to it. Advance to the next screen

Screen 6:
Boss: Lord Zedd
Description: Humanoid with metal on him. He carries a staff with a Z on it.
Ranger Type: Either
Attacks: Hit you with his staff.

Strategy: Ready for the easiest boss in the entire game. What? I'm dead
         serious. When he appeats punch the flashing Zed. If you keep
         Punching a flashing Zed he will disapeer. But you can't damage him
         that way. So run to Zed wait for the moment he gets done falshing
         than hit him. Repeat an he will die. Zedd will be lucky to even
         hit you.

Now on to the Final Stage.

F. Ivan Ooze
------------------

Screen 1:
Advance forward killing any putties in your way. Jumping through the high
ground and low ceilings is probably the toughest part of this screen.

Screen 2:
Sub-Boss: Mordant
Description: A fat boar that stands on its hind legs.
Ranger Type: Either
Attacks: Fire Rain, Punch, Blow, Suck

Strategy: This boss can be difficult if you have no idea what your doing. But
         he is extremly easy if you do know what to do. His main attack is
         to have fire rain on you than suck you into it. What you have to do
         here is get as close to the fire ball nearest to mordant as you can.
         Do not go past that fire ball. He will try to suck you into it. You
         can avoid this by slowly walking in the opposite direction. When the
         fireball disappears quickly run at Mordant. He will now try and blow
         you away. When you get barely close enough to him, attack. Go to the
         middle of the screen. He will vanish and appear on either side of
         the screen. Repeat the process untill you beat him. Keep in mind
         that if you are too close to where he respawns, he will punch you.

Screen 3:
Walk forward a little. Kill the androids and walk forward agian. Kill another
set of androids and continue forward. Wait for the left flamethrower to rise.
Walk inbetween the flamethowers. Wait for the right flamethrower to rise than
walk forward. Crouch under the above flamethrower if needed.

Screen 4:
Sub-Boss: Queen Tenga
Description: A humanoid bird.
Ranger Type: Type 1
Attacks: Triple fire balls.

Strategy: If you have a type 1 ranger you will clearly have the advantage.
         Simply jump onto the high platform. When Tenga comes down, go to her
         and let her fire. When she jumps up hit her. Go to the other side
         and repeat. If you are using a Type 2 Ranger you will not be able
         jump on the platform. It is a miracle if you win with a type 2
         ranger. My best advice is to run at it and get off as many hits as
         you can and hope for a win.

Screen 5:
Jump up the screen avoiding flamethrowers and cogs. Once you get to the top
stay on the left platform. Kill enough cogs to morph than do so. You should
now be able to exit.

Screen 6:

Sub-Boss: Man-sized Rat
Description: Giant Rat
Ranger Type: Either
Attacks: Flying Barrel Roll

Strategy: Easy boss. Just jump back and forth across the three platforms.
         When he rolls at you stop jumping and wait for him to go back in the
         water. Every once in a while he will jump up and look for you. When
         he does strike him. He will fall in no time

Screen 7:
Wait for the flamethrowers to move out of your way and jump the pits. When
your on land with no holes dodge the last flamethrower. Go to the next screen.

Screen 8:

Sub-Boss: Goldar
Description: Humainoid Griffon with a sword.
Ranger Type: Type 2
Attacks: Slash, Thrust, Double Image

Strategy: If your using a type 2 range this will be easy. Wait for your chance
         to strike. Than start mashing the attack button. If Goldar starts

Jump on the platforms and wait for the fireballs to come up. After the
fireballs go down advance one platform. Continue until you can exit. You
shouldn't have to worry about the eyes if you keep moving.

Screen 12:
Move to the dead end. Defeat enough putties to morph than do so. Advance.

Sub-Boss: Contained Ivan Ooze
Description: Big Guy in weird equipment sitting in a chair.
Ranger Type: Either
Attacks: Lighting, Spirit, Neptune ball.

Strategy: For each one of CIO's attacks you have to respond differently. You
         can't just run up to him and attack or he will through you against
         a the wall. His lighting is my favorite because its easiest to
         respond to. Wait for the bolt to completly disappear. Than attack
         him.  The spirit will pobably hit you. When he unleashes the spirit
         run away from it. Than run twoards CIO and attack. The spirit will
         follow you, jump at the last moment after you attack. With the
         Neptune balls your best bet is to jump over them or croch and move
         under them. After you have beaten him he will transform.

Screen 13:
final Boss: Ivan Ooze
Description: Ugly floating guy in a cloak.
Ranger Type: Either
Attacks: Diamonds, Neptune Flash, Spirit, Flash

Strategy: You can not hurt him while he is flashing. But he can hurt you.
         Whenever Ivan is flashing try to get to the other side of him.
         You can only hurt Ivan when he is attacking you. Diamonds is the
         best time to attack him because the diamonds are predictable.
         Neptune Flash is very hard to dodge. I have yet to master a way
         around it. The spirit will always go in a straight line if you are
         on the exact opposite of Ivan. Dodge it and dodge a second spirit
         which he could through anyware and attacK. This will take many
         tries.
