[HELP]

Mickey's Dangerous Chase is a fairly linear, simple platforming game ala
Super Mario Bros. style. You can play as either the titular Mickey Mouse, or his
eternal girlfriend Minnie Mouse (there are no differences between the two,
beside aesthetics).

The game is split into five stages, which consist of three levels each.
As you advance forward in each stage, you will encounter enemies who will walk
forward, and will injure Mickey or Minnie if the player-character is touched by
an enemy, who start out with three hearts of health before they lose a life. To
defeat them, the avatar can pick up boxes scattered throughout the stage and
throw them at one's foes to eliminate them. Some boxes are marked with a ? mark,
which have treasure inside them.

Four crystal balls are also littered throughout each stage, usually
found in treasure boxes. If you collect all four from each stage, you can also
obtain an extra life from this.

There is no precise point system. The two mice can collect Star Points
which grants an extra life when 100 are collected, but that is about it, along
with other items that regenerate the health of the mice or give them extra
lives.

On the bottom of the player's screen are four icons. These are what is
represented by each of them:

Hearts - The health Mickey or Minnie Mouse has. One hit from an enemy
                will knock out one heart

Star - The number of Star points the player has, up to 100 before
               gaining a new life

P - The number of lives left to the player

O - Indicates the number of crystal orbs in the stage that the player
           has located

Controls

Level One
---------
From the start, jump onto the top-most of the three blocks, then jump up
as high as you can to the left. Open the treasure box up here for your first
Crystal Ball.

March right and grab one of the three blocks, and toss it at the dog
walking around shortly thereafter. Continue on: ignore the treasure box at the
end for a couple of seconds, and grab another box to eliminate another incoming
dog foe over yonder. It should be noted that you cannot backtrack in the level,
so be sure not to scroll ahead in the screen so that the treasure box
disappears.

Break open the treasure box to collect a Crystal Ball, then take another
box and throw it at the next dog as you continue. Jump onto the upper ledge with
the dog walking around, and leap into the air to grab some Star Points. Hop over
the canine and then the enemy walking around on two feet before your Mouse
begins to go downwards.

Grab a block on the ground and throw it at the dog wandering on top of
the boxpile, then break open the treasure box by jumping and then pressing B
while leaning into it for your third Crystal Ball. Pick up another box, then
jump up to the left via a series of ledges, eliminating another dog, until you
make it to the rooftop.

Head right on the rooftop while jumping to grab some Star Points, and
fall off down to the ground at the end while grabbing a White Star, worth 5 Star
Points. Take the upper ledge as you proceed right so you can jump over the dog.
When you see the treasure boxes, if you wish to grab them, press Down + A for
Mickey or Minnie to drop down to the lower floor (they contain a Star Point and
Heart). When you continue on, make sure to go to the upper path to give yourself
jump clearance.

Once you wander along, drop down into the pit to grab a block and throw
it at a hopping enemy. Continue on into the residential area again, throw away
the bottom block, then use the very next block to knock out a foe. Break open
the right treasure box for the final Crystal Ball, but do NOT touch the left
treasure box. Instead, grab a regular box from the right side, then jump onto
the left Crystal Ball, then the top crate to its left to jump up onto the roof.
Use the box in your hands to eliminate the foe here and grab some Star Points
before dropping back down.

Clear the last dog, and eliminate it if you want to get at a Treasure
Box containing a White Star, then head up and talk to Goofy to finish the level.

Level Two
---------
Start going right, eliminating a couple of the walking enemies, and then
use two crates to finish off the fire hydrant (do not throw while it has spit
steam out into the air, as your crate will only deflect the steam, not actually
damage the hydrant). Break the treasure box for a white star, then continue on
to a pile of boxes.

Use the right-most box to eliminate a foe, then jump up and grab the box
on top of the treasure box first - otherwise, you will not be able to grab the
Crystal Ball inside when you open the crate and it will fall off-screen.
Afterwards, head along for another treasure box with a Heart in it.

Drop down into the lower pit at the next fire hydrant, and immediately
press and hold down to crouch. Once the hydrant's attack clears your position,
move forward, grab a box, throw it at the hydrant, and crouch. After its next
attack, throw a second box at it to eliminate it. Once you get to the end of the
row of boxes, break open the treasure crate for the second Crystal Ball.

Skip over the blocks over the giant pit - while there is a passageway
underneath it, ignore it. Instead, take some blocks off the right end to get to
a White Star, then continue on and snipe off a couple of walking minions. Drop
into the tight pit at the end where the hydrant is and make your way over to the
treasure box. Smash it for a Vase, which will give your mouse temporary
invulnerability to enemies, and use it to run through the hydrant and a dog
until you get downhill.

At the bottom of the hill, turn around and make your way through all the
blocks in the lower left that would have lead into a cave. Break the final
crate, a treasure box, for your third Crystal Ball, then turn around and
continue right. Jump onto the center ledge with the blocks, then immediately
turn around and jump up to your left side for a treasure box containing the last
Crystal Ball.

Go to the four central crates and grab and throw one at the patrolling
mutt, then break open the treasure box for a white star. Continue going up the
ledges to the top roof of the building, then go to the far right and jump off
while continuing to go right. If all goes well, you should clear a final enemy
and be able to grab some more Star Points before finally coming up to meet Goofy
again.

Level Three
-----------
And now, for a more fun segment, but also more difficult, as you go
riding on a boat in the lake. In this segment the screen is constantly scrolling
right, so you need to be careful not to run into enemies or rocks in the water.

When you start, move back to avoid the first piranha fish, then quickly
move to the right and start jumping in the air to grab first a white star and
then the first Crystal Ball, then move back to avoid another piranha. Jump over
the first rock you see, then try for another white star and a Heart, but be
especially sure to grab the Vase that comes after those two to give yourself
temporary invincibility. Once you get it, quickly blaze right to grab the second
Crystal Orb and a white star - do not worry about the rocks, as you will just
knock them aside as well while immortal.

Be careful to keep track of your invincible status (your mouse will
flicker while the Vase is still in effect) - you will have lost it by the time
you come to a jump over two straight rocks, so be sure to watch out for them and
time your jump carefully. After you have jumped over two more rocks, you will
come to a pier. Quickly rush to the right to jump and grab a Crystal Ball, then
move back slightly to avoid a swarm of piranha fish. Move right once you see the
final Crystal Ball to grab it, as well as a white star before touching Goofy to
end both level and stage.

Level One
---------
It will be raining literal cats in the woods, so grab the first pair of
blocks you see and throw them at the feline foes that come down from the air.
After you use up your blocks, you will have to advance by dodging them. If you
wait for them to touch the ground, they will regress into normally sized
enemies, but can leap into the air again, so be sure to watch out for that.

Continue along until you hit another crate. Pick it up and go up the
hill, and you will encounter tumbleweed enemies. Throw a crate to knock one out.
You will have to maneuever around at least one of them - to do so, wait for them
to drop down to a lower ledge, then jump into the air and twist around them to
let them pass your mouse.

Climb up to the top of the hill and head right, until you come to an
area with several blocks. Grab the furthest left one to knock the snake out,
then break open the left-most treasure box for a Crystal Ball. Hop right and up
for another treasure box with the second Crystal Ball, then drop down to the
bottom after you grab a throwable crate. Throw it at the snake down below, then
break the remaining treasure crates for two white stars.

Proceed up the hill after throwing aside several crates to get two more
Star Points, then grab a crate and eliminate a flying cat as it comes by. In the
pit, break open the two treasure crates for a third Crystal Ball and a Blinking
Heart, then continue on. After the first pit, grab a block to throw at a snake
over yonder, then continue. Once you have accumulated some more Star Points,
break the treasure box open for the last Star Piece.

Slay another snake enemy, then continue on right, avoiding a couple more
cat enemies. Stop at the pit, move back slightly, and then take a good running
leap to make it over to Goofy.

Level Two
---------
Once you get close to the bear, jump on its back. Wait for it to move to
the left before dropping into the pit via the two Star Point icons. Use the two
regular blocks here to take out the bear right above and a bear up to the right,
then smash the Treasure box for the first Crystal Ball. Move along the ground
floor until you come to another pit, and smash the treasure crate in here for a
second Crystal Ball.

After you get that item, head to the spike pit, and wait for the
hovering block to come down before jumping on. Grab the first couple of Star
Points here, then head right a couple of ledges. Fairly quickly, you should see
a block in the air. Take a good running jump and only leap off at the very tip
of the ledge, then quickly jump again once you land on the block before it
begins to fall. Break open the two treasure crates up here for a White Star and
a Blinking Star, which gives you an extra life outright.

Continue on right, jumping over another falling block, to grab some more
Star Points. Afterwards, clear the entire ground level area entirely with a jump
to make it to the top of a hill. Fall into the pit here, and destroy the TOP
crate first, then smash the bottom treasure crate for the third Crystal Ball.
Smash the second treasure box for a white star, then continue on right until you
fall into another pit.

Take the top crate again so you have time to grab the last Crystal Ball
as you break the top treasure box. Make your way down to the second treasure box
for a Heart, then continue up and right to exit the pit. Jump over a few
bouncing snowballs. When you get to the pit area, jump to the safe area in the
center, then quickly leap up to the left once the flying cat comes down. Once it
hops up to the left, leap over it, grab the Star Point if you have not already,
then head up to Goofy.

Level Three
-----------
And now for another fun level, as Mickey hangs from a balloon and floats
up into the sky. You will always be going up. However, if you are at full life
with three hearts, you will go really quickly: if you have two hearts, you will
only have two balloons instead of three, and so will rise more slowly, and
slower still if you have only one heart, thus one balloon. How you wish to play
is up to you, as the buzzards that fly around can be fairly easy to dodge, but
no point in taking a chance - if you have all three balloons, you can pretty
much zoom right past them.

In any case, you will see the first Crystal Ball to your left shortly
into the level, so grab that, followed by a Heart to the right, and then a Vase
to the far left. With the vase, you should have temporary immunity for some time
from the buzzards.

The rest of the level is fairly straightforward. The remaining Crystal
Balls will always be to the center of the level or slightly to the right, while
you should see a couple of Hearts if you want to recover - just remember as
always, you will float faster if you have all three balloons. Once you hit the
ceiling of the level, the level and stage will automatically end, sending you to
the next stage.

[STG3]

Level One
---------
Start the entire stage off by grabbing a block then jumping up and
throwing it as a hawk swoops in at your mouse. Take a running jump to clear the
pit. Ignore the two gophers - instead, jump over them and then another shorter
pit. Break the treasure crate you see to claim your first Crystal Ball of the
level.

Hop onto the block moving over the pit as it comes toward you, then
press down to crouch as the hawk comes around. Jump over to the other side of
the pit, avoid a second hawk, and then break the treasure block for a heart.
Leap over a smaller pit and destroy two regular crates before getting a 1-Up
Star from the treasure crate. Grabbing the second regular crate can be a bit
tricky - jump off the side and quickly turn left, press B to grab the crate, and
continue holding the B button to move back onto solid ground.

From here, leap across three consecutive blocks that will sink once you
touch them. Approach the cave and wait for the gopher to start leaving the
tunnel. Back out into open air and jump up and over him once he exits. Head down
deeper into the cave. Wait for the gopher to come left, then jump down once he
moves right. Quickly smash open the treasure block for a white star, then head
to the left end to grab a regular crate and throw it at the gopher.

Hop up the blocks, then jump over to grab a box that contains the second
Crystal Ball. Drop down to the floor below and maneuver around to grab one of
the crates and throw it at a gopher. Quickly break open the treasure crate to
get a Vase for temporary invulnerability. Use your immune-to-damage status to
quickly rush right and onto a bed of spikes, and hop onto some small rocks built
into the cliffside.

Grab a white star at the stop, then drop down and press to the left to
avoid touching the spikebed. Kill the gopher down here with a crate, then head
right and smash the treasure crate for a Heart. Go up while accumulating Star
Points and continue right. When dropping down, again remember to press against
the left wall. Down below, use the central crate to eliminate the gopher. The
left treasure box will have a third Crystal Ball, while the right one will have
a white Star.

Move up and past some more spikes and then down again, and smash the
last treasure block for the last Crystal Ball. Wait for the hovering block to
come down, then jump onto it and leap up to meet Goofy as it rises.

Level Two
---------
Walk forward slightly until the bat starts to move out of its stationary
position, then head left and crouch. Once it leaves the area, destroy the first
treasure box you see for your first Crystal Ball. Now, wait for the spider to
your right to move upwards. Drop into the small hole to grab the crate, then
throw it straight up to eliminate the spider.

Climb up the ledges and use the block that's given to you to eliminate
the bat. Drop straight down onto a ledge with a regular block and treasure box.
Use the same trick as in the last level to get a hold of the regular box without
taking damage - jump off the side and quickly turn left, press B to grab the
crate, and continue holding the B button to move back onto solid ground. Your
reward will be a white star.

Jump onto the lone block in the air, and quickly leap off before it
starts to sink to your right. Do not bother trying to go onto the higher ledges.
Instead, drop down, and grab a hold of the crate before going right for some
star points. Use the crate to eliminate the first spider, then jump over the
second.

Hop up some ledges until you see some bats. Wait for them to hover up
and then drop into the enclosed space below, moving towards the left. The
treasure crate here will be a heart. Move right slightly, but head up as soon as
you can, and continue to head up, dodging a bat. Go up onto some higher ledges
to come towards a pair of treasure crates, which contain the second Crystal Ball
and a white Star. Pick up a regular crate as you go right and eliminate a bat.

Once you hit the end, you will see another bat. Move away from it, and
wait for it to head right before dropping down. Destroy the first treasure crate
for a Heart, then jump over to the left side and grab the second treasure box
for the third Crystal Ball.

Leap up from there and get a hold of a normal block, and head right.
Ignore the first bat you see - instead, use it against the second bat, as it has
an extremely annoying patrol pattern. Once you do so, leap past where it was to
get to an upper ledge with three blocks. Destroy the treasure block for the
final Crystal Ball. Head right from here - do not bother with the bat. Instead,
drop down the ledge for some Star Points, and continue dropping down and right
to reach Goofy.

Level Three
-----------
I will be honest, I disliked this level. You will be going down the side
of the mountain, and throughout it, you need to jump onto the backs of the
buzzards much like you did with the bears several levels ago. If you miss a
jump, however, you lose your life. Also, at the start of the level, you need to
jump off RIGHT AWAY or else the screen will scroll down and knock out your
mouse.

Also, the buzzards will fly off screen, forcing you to jump to a new
buzzard, and you can lose a heart if you get hit by a buzzard. If you wish to
play it safe, wait for the buzzard to jerk to the right before jumping onto the
next bird.

That said, if you do try to collect the Star Points and four Crystal
Balls, here is some help as far as the Crystal Balls go: the first two should be
easy to jump and get back onto your bird. For the third one, however, you need
to wait until your bird is slightly below it, then jump to it, and just fall
straight down. A new buzzard will emerge from the bottom of the screen right
before you fall to your death. For the last Crystal Ball, jump at it and then
head left, as the buzzard will reverse directions and go right at the last
possible moment.

Once you hit the ground, go down to meet Goofy.

                                 Stage Four
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
[STG4]

Level One
---------
Head up to the area where all the crates are. Ignore both of the
treasure crates here - they both contain Hearts, and since you started a new
stage you should be at three full hearts to begin with. Instead, head right at
the top.

When you get to the next section of blocks, you should see some sort of
black thing on top of one of the blocks. This is technically an enemy insofar as
that touching it will damage your mouse, but do not bother trying to destroy it
- that will not serve you any good. Instead, simply remove the block from
underneath it to make it fall down, AFTER you take away the lower right most
block in this area, then grab the two treasure chests for a Heart and a Crystal
Ball. Fall down and to the right to avoid touching the black thing - this is why
you should have removed the lower right crate earlier.

Head right and ignore the second black orb outright. You will see two
more treasure blocks. Now, this is one of the trickiest sequences in the entire
game. Go to where the two blocks are on the left, and approach it from the left
side. Jump and quickly grab the top block before your mouse hits the stationary
stone. If you miss and grab the lower block, then take all three blocks away and
jump to the top of the two treasure blocks, and jump up to the left, then turn
around and quickly grab the top chest for a heart while pushing right, then
repeat for a second Crystal Ball.

After what may be a marathon effort, head right. The two treasure chests
here are both Hearts, so only bother for one of them if you are at one or two
hearts. Head to the next section of boxes, and take the lower part for a 1-Up
from the chest. Both the treasure chests up top are Hearts, so again ignore it
if you are already full up on your health and continue on.

Here, the top two chests are both Hearts again, but the bottom one near
the pit is a Crystal Ball. Make a grab for a Crystal Ball - if you take damage,
claim a heart from one of the treasure chests as you climb up. Again remember to
take blocks out from underneath the black things to let them harmlessly fall to
the earth before continuing on through the top right section.

Proceed on for awhile, as all the remaining blocks for a bit are either
hearts or white stars. Once you get to a block that will sink once you jump on
it, remain on it as it will stay on top of the spikes, sparing your mouse some
damage. Grab the nearby blocks to your right and then quickly move back onto the
stone block to avoid damage until you carve out a passage to the right.

Once you get to to two moving blocks, take the first one up to break
open a treasure box for a white star. Continue over and fall down on the right
side of an L-shaped platform, and break open the treasure chest here by jumping
up and then pushing left while hitting the B button to claim the last Crystal
Ball, then jump right to encounter Goofy.

Level Two
---------
Grab a block to start and throw it at the gear you see to eliminate it
right away. Head right on the conveyor belts, then march your way up. Be careful
here, as you will encounter a spiked ceiling with some spiked sections in the
floor with tighter-than-Mega-Man jumps to make. After you clear the first one,
do not worry about the second and third too much if you have at least two
hearts. If you take damage from the second, quickly rush across the third before
your invulnerability runs out, and jump across to a treasure crate containing a
Crystal Ball.

Drop down and grab a Heart from a second treasure block, then head right
and leap across the pit once the manufacturing plunger begins to move up into
the ceiling. Head up and you should see a second plunger - wait a minute and
watch it and you should see it will have a quick plunge and a slow plunge. Wait
until it finishes its quick plunge and retreats into the ceiling before running
across.

Head down and go right. Once you come up to the spike pit at the right
end, quickly jump around to the conveyor belts to the top. Grab and toss away
the regular box, then open the second box for the second Crystal Ball. Head
right and down to some more conveyor belts with spikes on top and bottom. Again,
you will have to lightly tap the A button to jump across the pits without
receiving damage from above.

Climb some more conveyor belts and break open a treasure box for a heart
at the top. Move right to find two more plungers - both of these operate on the
quick - slow closing pattern, so wait until each of them is slow before moving
across. Grab the first box up top here, then drop a short distance to your right
at the end and press right while grabbing the second regular crate. Break open
another treasure chest for a Heart if needed.

Drop down finally and take a pair of moving blocks right, then climb up
the conveyor belts and jump off to the left side. The two blocks here contain a
Heart and white star. If you want to get the items, then jump off to the right
side, then quickly turn around and press left while grabbing with the B button
to smash open the first treasure box and land safely on the platform. After,
jump onto the high belt to the right. Ignore the long spike bed, and instead
fall down the holes in the floor until you hit the bottom.

Grab a white star from the treasure block, then use a normal block to
destroy the gear to the right. Navigate your way through a tricky roof and floor
of spikes, then head up, smashing open two more boxes of treasure for a white
star and the third Crystal Ball. Head up and right, then jump off and press
right into a small niche with a treasure crate containing the final Crystal
Ball.

Fall to the floor below and grab a regular block and throw it at the
gear moving around, then head right and talk to Goofy.

Level Three
-----------
As you should already expect, this level varies from the regular
platforming aspect, and how - this time, Mickey Mouse is driving a car. For the
first little while, there are several platforms, and you can drop down a
platform by using the Down + A button combination. Meanwhile, cars are driving
at Mickey for the entire level.

Stick to the middle platform, and drop down once you see a Vase to give
yourself temporary invulnerability to cars coming along. Shortly thereafter, you
should come across the first Crystal Ball. Once you hop over three stone
pillars, move left to keep yourself from being pushed into water until you gain
visible sight of two of three straight sinking blocks. Jump over them quickly
(the controls to rejump may be touchy here) to get onto a short stable ledge,
then let the screen scroll almost all the way on you before taking a long jump
across the water to solid ground again.

You will start jumping over sets of stone pillars and shortly in get
your second Crystal Ball. You are not in any danger of being damaged by them,
but if the screen scrolls past Mickey or Minnie Mouse you lose your life. After
about three sets of pillars you should watch out for cars flying off the top and
stick to the left-most, bottom pillar for a few seconds before continuing on. As
you continue to jump over these pillars, you should finally get the last two
Crystal Balls before encountering Goofy at the end.

Level One
---------
Head right and drop into the first pit for a Heart, waiting for the
wheel to pass. Get up, grab some Star Points, then cross the spike pit. After
the first two hovering stones, jump onto the third one and it will sink. Allow
your mouse to fall while standing on top of it, and break open the nearby
treasure crate for your first Crystal Ball. Jump right onto the high ledge.

Crouch underneath the wheel as you go right to come to another messy
area with a spike bed and several crates in the air. Maneuver your way around
the ledges to the left and center to the upper left, and break the crate here
open for a white star. Jump over to the center top and grab the treasure box in
mid-air while continuing to press right to both get your second Crystal Ball and
land safely on the ledge. Drop off the edge with a crate in your hands, and
throw it at the first wheel you run across going right, then run underneath the
second one as it bounces over your head.

Here, you will encounter three obnoxious bouncing drum barrels. You are
not supposed to jump over them. Rather, you have to wait for the barrels to
bounce into the air, and then perform extremely short jumps over to the next
platform while avoiding getting conked in the head. Break the treasure chest at
the end for a white star.

Coming into a spike bed area again, jump over the first stone to the
second one before the first one falls. The second one hovers up and down, so use
the opportunity to crack open then treasure crate for a heart before continuing
over several more falling stones. At the end, IF you have at least two hearts,
fall down and crack open two more treasure boxes for a white star and the third
Crystal Ball, then attempt what is pretty much an impossible jump over to the
next cliff past a bouncing barrel drum. If you had only one heart left, you
should have stayed up at the top and leapt over the thing entirely, given the
difficulty of the jump.

In any case, once you finally make it past the drum, jump onto the crate
to the first ledge, then to the higher ledge to get the last Crystal Ball. Drop
down to talk to Goofy and end the level.

Level Two
---------
The penultimate level differs from the level twos in the other stages in
that it changes the gameplay up from the regular platforming. Here, the screen
will constantly scroll upwards, and you shall have to constantly jump from
platform to platform to get higher and higher. If you miss even one jump you
lose your current life and have to repeat the entire stage over. As you go
higher and higher, all the platforms will shrink to narrow blocks, and will
become spaced further apart, so keep that in mind.

Also, occasionally projectiles will fall straight down from the sky. To
do a good job of avoiding these, try not to press right up against the top of
the screen: instead, stay around the middle of the screen so you are not in
danger of the screen scrolling up past you, but also have time to react to any
falling objects.

For reference, all the Crystal Balls are on the right side of the area.
The fourth and final one will be just before you meet up with Goofy.

Level Three
-----------
The level starts with Pete attacking you with a ball. Dodge this, and
follow him right. Hit the first treasure block you see as you jump off the
hovering block - this will give you a 1-Up. As long as you can always survive
Pete's initial attack and get this 1-Up, you should be good to play as long as
you need to to defeat Pete, no matter how many KOs he gives you.

Continue chasing Pete over the rooftops, and he will after a bit
increase the number of balls he throws at you to two, spaced apart by several
seconds. Continue on until you get to the final segment of this area where the
real boss battle begins, shortly after four straight white stars.

Pete has three separate positions that he will be in throughout the
entire battle, as seen below, were he starts in 3, B is the infinite block that
you can constantly grab that replenishes itself after each time you grab it, and
G is the location of the gift in the background.

   1 B 2  3  G

Pete will start in position 3, where he will throw two balls close
together at Mickey or Minnie Mouse. Once he does this, he will then throw two
more balls, with about a second in between. He will always through the first
ball low, but the second ball high with him jumping.

After he shots off the four balls, he will then jump high into the air
from position 3 to position 1, then 2, 1, and 2 again, before turning left and
firing two balls again. He will move to position 1 again, and then finally back
to 3, and then repeat this entire firing and movement pattern.

To summarise, this is his movement pattern:

       3 (fire four times) > 1 > 2 > 1 > 2 (fire twice) > 1 > 3 (repeat)

During his first sequence of firing four times, there is no problem with
dodging them. However, it is when he is in position 2 that it is nearly
impossible to dodge his attacks, as you have to time your jump perfectly to leap
over the spaced-apart balls. You can knock one ball out by throwing a block at
it, but that is a bit dangerous to grab a block prior, not to mention wasting a
possible shot.

An alternative method is this: dodge the first three balls, then jump
onto the block as soon as you dodge the third ball. Once Pete is jumping up into
the air to fire shot four, drop down to the RIGHT side of the block, grab a
block, then move to the far right side next to the wall, where the gift is in
the background. Turn around. Throw the ball at Pete as soon as he lands down in
position 3 again.

The beauty of this is that Pete will NEVER deviate from his pattern, and
he will never turn around to fire at Mickey to the right. Because of this, since
you do not have to deflect any balls with your crates either, as long as you
avoid Pete falling on you, you can avoid damage for the entire battle. The ONLY
time you should move left is as soon as Pete has jumped from position three
after all four shots, and after he has cleared the area significantly - if you
move left while he is still in mid-jump, you might come into contact with him
and injure yourself.

In any case, once you finally fell him, head all the way to the eastern
wall for credits to roll. Congrats on winning the game.

Other than that, considering this FAQ is for an obscure old game, if you
have any other obscure old games that you do not play anymore, consider sending
them to me (I will even pay the shipping cost!). I write FAQs for plenty of
obscure old games with no FAQs, and having a physical copy of the game (and even
better, a manual) is superior to not. You can email me if interested at
