"In Agrabah, a faraway land of wind and sand, a young street rat named Aladdin
must steal to survive. Meanwhile, Jafar, the sultan's advisor, plots to take
over the kingdom by stealing a magic lamp from the perilous Cave of Wonders.
Our Story Begins on a dark night..."

I won't spoil the rest of the story, because it develops as you play through
the game.

###############################################################################
(C) CONTROLS
###############################################################################

The controls for this game are very simple, and are as follows:

A - Makes your character jump.
B - Swings your sword and throws apples.

Start - Pauses the game.
Select - Switches between the sword or apple attack for the B button.

*TIP* - When throwing apples at an enemy don't throw them as fast as you can,
you'll just waste them. You can only damage an enemy when they aren't
flashing.

(D) ITEMS
###############################################################################

You can pick up various items in the game and each one has its own purpose.

Apple: Gives you one apple that you can use as a throwing weapon.

Lamp: Kills all enemies on the screen.

Aladdin Head: Gives you an extra life.

Genie Head: Gives you a chance at the bonus game at the end of each stage. Also
gives you 250 points.

Bottle: Checkpoint, if you lose a life you will begin here.

Heart: Refills some of your health. Also gives you 150 Points.

Gem: Used for buying items at shops. Also gives you 150 Points.

BONUS GAME
==========

Between every level is a bonus game, the number of genie heads that you find in
a level is how many chances you get at this game. Basically some items and
Jafar's face spin by quickly, and you need to stop them. Whatever item you
stop on, you get to keep. If you land on Jafar's face the bonus game ends.

==============
AGRABAH MARKET
==============

Take out the first guard with your apples and proceed right. Jump any and
coals and collect more apples. Duck and kill the knife thrower, then proceed
right to the rope.

Climb it, head left and grab the lamp and genie head before the platform falls.
Head left to the rope, climb it and throw apples at the guard. Head right and
kill the next guard with apples.

Fall off the ledge then grab the heart and pot below the knife thrower. Use
your sword on the knife thrower and continue right. Jump over the guard below
you then remove him with apples. Continue right and kill the guard (when he
pauses) with your sword, then kill the next guard with your sword as he gets
his feet burned. Jump the coals and slash the next guard when he pauses. Head
right and slash the guard while avoiding his knives.

Climb the rope and jump to the beam, travel left until you are near the genie
head. Drop down to the platform below, then jump to the genie head and across
to the other side. Quickly slash the guard before he does too much damage to
you. Jump to the next platform and throw apples at the next guard. Switch to
your apples and carefully kill the next knife thrower. Head right to the rope
and grab the gem.

Climb the rope and pelt the knife thrower with apples. Jump off to the right
and jump across the gap to another gem. Then drop down and grab the genie
head. Head right and get rid of the guard. Run right to the wall, and wait
for a pot to pass the pole, then jump on the pole (and hold the button down) on
your second bounce you will go high enough to continue right.

Pass the pot and you will see a shop (press up to shop), unfortunately you
don't have enough gems for anything there. Run into the lamp when it's safe to
get rid of the guard, then use the pole to get over the wall. Grab some apples
from the upper level before dropping down. Use apples on the guard and then go
right to the exit.

==========
THE DESERT
==========

Grab the apples on your left, then head right. Hit the first guard with
apples, use your sword on the snake and the next guard. Use your apples on the
next snake and guard. Jump below the next guard and use your sword on him.

Jump across the next 2 pits and use your sword while ducking to take out the
guards. Use apples on the snake and get the hidden pot. Use your sword on the
next 2 guards.

Walk right off the edge, then jump and use apples on the guard. Grab the gem
in the trees, and jump right. Switch to apples and use them on the 2 parrots
as you travel right. Drop down after the second parrot, and head left,
grabbing the genie head as you go. Use your sword on the guard and continue
left. Grab the first half of the scarab and then go back left across the rope.
Use apples on the first guard, then grab the lamp up ahead.

Climb a bit and grab the gem, then head right. Grab the genie head and fall
onto the pot below. Switch to apples and carefully take out the knife-thrower
up the hill. Use apples on the snake and guard, then grab the other half of
the scarab to complete the stage.

================
AGRABAH ROOFTOPS
================

When he pauses slash the guard, then use apples on the next guard. Go right
and jump up to the first flute. Head right and jump onto the magic rope, ride
it up and jump right.

Jump up so you touch the lamp the jump right down to the next flute. Slash the
guard and head right, grab the next flying rope. Ride it up then jump right to
the next flute. Drop back down and ride the middle rope up, jump right and
kill the guard. Drop down and ride the left rope up and jump left.

Then slash the guard and continue left to a pot and another flute. Head left
some more (don't fall) and use apples on the guard. Jump the pit and grab the
rope, ride it up to the extra life, and then jump right.

Jump left, then use apples on the guard. Jump your way up to the rope then
head right. Leave enough space between you and the black part of the building
below to fit another Aladdin. This way you shouldn't get hit, now just use
apples on the guard. Go right and grab the gem and pot. Head left a little
and throw apples at the guard while ducking. Jump up to the next horizontal
rope and use apples on the guard. Then jump to the magic rope and ride it up
and jump right to the roof.

Jump right and throw an apple then land back on your roof. Then jump to the
rope while throwing another apple, now you should land safely. Go across the
rope and drop to the next rope. Use apples on the guard then jump onto the
wall on your right. Use apples on the next guard from here and continue right,
grabbing the gem as you go. Use your sword on the STRONG thief, then grab the
half of the scarab.

Jump back over the wall to your left. Keep going left and fall onto a rope,
use apples on the guard to your right. Continue right and use apples on that
guard too. Jump right at the rope to land by a heart that you can use. Use
apples on the guard from this spot, then go and get the genie head that he was
guarding.

Work your way back to the highest point in the level so far, where you fought
the tough thief. Here you will now find another flute. Once you have it go
left and ride the new magic rope. Collect all the goodies and wait until it
takes you near some new platforms to jump off. Now pelt this STRONG guard with
apples until you clear the stage.

===============
SULTANS DUNGEON
===============

Grab the apples on your left, then head right. Keep going until you reach the
wall, be careful of the bats and swinging maces on the way. Jump onto the
moving block, then left to the next one, and finally right to the log platform.
Work your way up the platforms and grab the genie head on the way.

Head left and use apples on the skeleton, then keep going left. Drop down at
the chain and head right, then drop down again. Head left, and run past the
guard, then use apples on him. Keep going left and grab the pot and genie
head.

Jump up to the chain and climb it, jump off to your left and use apples on the
guard. Head left and grab the genie head and apples while avoiding the bat.
Climb the chain then jump up to the apples, use them on the nearby guard. Head
right and drop down to the pot, then use apples on the guard. Jump right a few
platforms, use apples on the guard then drop down and collect a genie head.
Head right, jump the wall and touch the pot.

Jump up the moving platforms and grab the genie head, then jump over the wall.
Now work your way down to the ground level and use your apples on the guard
there. Jump up the moving platforms and work your way up the various chains to
the exit in the upper right corner.

===============
CAVE OF WONDERS
===============

Use your sword on the 2 bats and stand on the nearby piece of rock. A water
jet will raise you into the air, jump to the spikes above you, and proceed
right. Drop down to the statue and slash it, then jump the spikes. Grab the
heart (the platform will fall) and jump to the right. Jump right across the
spikes, and from the floating rock jump right to another one. From here jump
right to a gem, then jump left to some spikes, shimmy across them to a pot.

Climb the spike and jump left, then run left here to land on the ledge below.
Jump left over the spikes and grab the heart. Drop down onto the floating rock
and jump to the 2 hearts and back to the rock. Now jump up to the ceiling
spikes and shimmy left. Drop down and start climbing up the spike.

The enemy on your left cannot be killed so just avoid it. Jump right and run
up the hill. Jump right to the next platform and jump to the spike, climb it
and jump right. Jump right and get the gem and heart, then climb the spike.
Jump right and head right to the gem, then drop left.

Head right and collect the 2 hearts, then jump right and collect 2 more hearts.
Jump left and climb the spike, jump to the next spike and climb to the top.
Jump left and slash the statue, then drop down safely.

Head right to where you found the last 2 hearts, the wall is now gone. Head
right and jump on the magic carpet, ride it to the hearts and jump off. Now
jump right across platforms until you reach the lamp, touch it to end the
stage.

==========
THE ESCAPE
==========

Head right down the hill and jump quickly (the platform will fall) to the other
side of the pit. Jump up to the tunnel and slash the bat. Now run through the
tunnel away from the boulder don't stop or attack anything until you jump to
the platform at the end of the tunnel.

Jump to the next tunnel, run through it and grab the heart. Jump right across
a few platforms then grab 2 hearts and slash a bat. Run right through the
tunnel and jump the pit so the boulder falls into it, then slash the bat.
Continue right and jump the next pit, slash the bat just after the apple.

Jump right a few platforms, slashing the bat before the heart, then another one
just after it. Go through the short tunnel and jump to another one. Here use
apples on the 2 bats and take the lower path.

Jump right across a number of sinking platforms to another tunnel. Run through
the tunnel (grab the heart) and jump on the magic carpet to end the stage.

========
RUG RIDE
========

For this stage you will be riding the magic carpet in some fast-paced action.
The bread-like items that you see littered throughout the stage aren't useful
for anything other than points so don't worry about them. I will give you the
directions for where you should fly to avoid each obstacle. The code I will
use is U for Up, D for Down, and U/D for either:

U,D,U/D,U,U/D,U,M,D,D,U. At this point you are done the stage, nice and short.

==============
SULTANS PALACE
==============

Jump left across the flamingo, then pelt the guard to your left with apples.
Continues left until you reach the magic carpet, use your sword on all guards.

Ride the carpet up and to the right, then jump off and slash the guard. Grab
the heart and jump up ot the rope, climb it. Slash the guard on your left then
jump on the magic carpet on your left. Ride it through some items, past some
enemies, slash a parrot, then ride it to the top of the stage and jump over the
wall. Collect a heart, genie head and other items as you fall, then use apples
on the guard.

Proceed right, jump the knives and touch the lamp, then use your sword on the
next 2 guards when they pause. Head right and use your sword on the knife
thrower, then head right to the magic carpet. Ride the carpet and slash the
first guard, when the carpet eventually stops below the parrot jump up to the
pipe.

Use apples on the parrot then head right and drop on the pot. Slash the guard
when he pauses and head right, kill the knife thrower and continue right. Fall
down the rope, then down the hole to your left. Eliminate the guard and walk
right through the exit.

=============
JAFARS PALACE
=============

As soon as the stage starts jump up onto the ledge, otherwise you could get
burned. Jump right across ledges ignoring guards until you reach the knife
thrower. Eliminate him and continue to the spikes, use your apples on the
guard then continue right and slash the next guard. Now get up to a ledge
again and keep jumping right from ledge to ledge until you hit the wall.

You should land just to the right of some spikes, use apples on the guard.
Leap the spikes, now walk off the ledge and hold right, you should fall past
the guard and fall off the edge and land to the right of some more spikes. Use
apples on this guard then leap the spikes. Walk off the ledge and hold right
again, this time stop when you line up with the middle column in the
background.

You should land between the spikes, use apples on the guard. Leap left across
platforms and slash the next 2 guards, slash the third when he pauses. Jump
left across platforms and be careful of the 2 swinging maces. Ride the magic
carpet, jump off slash the knife thrower. Ride the carpet again and jump to
the right when you're above the spot where the knife thrower was.

Use apples on this guard then head right. Marvel at how the next guard is
invulnerable to spikes, then hit him with apples. Use apples on the next
couple of guards, then climb down the rope. Make sure you don't go too far
down, stay above the guard below you, then jump left to the next rope. Climb
it and use apples on the guard, then grab the hearts. Drop down and head left,
use apples on the guard above you and grab the heart. Head left to the pot
then jump on the magic carpet.

As soon as the carpet reaches the little brown bits on the window frame jump
left over the wall. You now get to do battle with Jafar, he's not hard at all
really as long as you have some apples. Basically throw all your apples at
him, and if he's not dead slash him until he goes down.

Now sit back and watch the ending.

(G) EXPERIMENTAL
###############################################################################
