***STORY/BASICS***
Bugs Bunny and Honey Bunny--his old girlfriend before Lola, for you youngins'
out there--were minding their own business, when Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Wile
E. Coyote, and the Sylvester quadruplets decided to kidnap Honey Bunny, locking
her up deep within a deserted castle. Why? Revenge on Bugs Bunny, I guess,
even though I can't imagine why Sylvester would want revenge on Bugs, anyway.
Bugs must make his way through the 80 rooms of the castle in order to save his
girlfriend. He won't find any exits in the rooms, though: to pass a room, he
must simply get the eight carrots in each one. How this allows him to move on
to the next room, I couldn't say, but it does. If Bugs Bunny can get past the
80 rooms, he will save his girlfriend, and the game is won.
Points are awarded for killing enemies and collecting carrots. Points are
worthless, but there are enough digits in the score to get up to 99 million
points, should anyone be willing to leave their Game Boy on for the years such
a score would require.
Bugs Bunny starts with 5 lives. He gets an extra life after completing a
level, but loses a life when touched by an enemy, at which point he must start
the level over. If Bugs loses all of his lives, the game is over... not that
it matters. Bugs has unlimited continues, and the only punishment for a game
over is having your score reset to 0, which probably doesn't matter to you,
anyway.
***MENU CONTROLS***
On the start screen, press START, A button, or B button to go to the next
screen.
On the "game start/password" screen, you can use SELECT, UP, or DOWN to choose
between "game start" or "password." Press START, A button, or B button to
confirm your choice.
On the password input screen, press SELECT or UP to change the character to the
next letter of the alphabet. Press DOWN to change the character to the
previous letter of the alphabet. Press RIGHT or A button to move on to the
next password space, or press LEFT or B button to move back to the previous
password space.
On the level select screen, press UP to select a previous level, or DOWN to
select a level later in the game. Note that you can only select up to the last
level completed. Press START, A button, or B button to begin the level shown
at the top of the screen.
On the mode select screen, press UP or DOWN to choose between PLAY (leads back
to the level select screen) or VIDEO (shows a video of your beating or dying on
the previous level, from start to finish. Press START, A button, or B button
to confirm your selection.
***LEVEL CONTROLS***
LEFT: Makes Bugs Bunny walk to the left. When falling, though, he will only
move straight down.
RIGHT: Makes Bugs Bunny walk to the right. When falling, though, he will only
move straight down.
UP: Allows Bugs Bunny to climb up stairs, a passageway, or a pipe. If none of
these three are present, Bugs will simply move in the direction he is facing.
DOWN: Allows Bugs Bunny to descend passageways or pipes. You do not need to
press down to go down stairs: Bugs goes down automatically. If there is no
passageway or pipe, Bugs will simply move in the direction he is facing.
A button/B button: If Bugs has a boxing glove, pressing A or B will allow him
to shoot it straight ahead, hopefully killing an enemy on the way.
START button: During gameplay, pressing START will pause the game. Pressing
it a second time will unpause the game, though keep in mind that if the game is
paused while Bugs is invincible from drinking potion, that the invincibility
period will continue running while the game is paused.
SELECT button: During gameplay, pressing SELECT will slow down the on-screen
action. Pressing SELECT a second time will return the game to normal speed:
the speed setting will be saved from level to level. When the game is paused,
pressing SELECT will unpause the game.
OTHER NOTES: Bugs cannot change direction while climbing up or down a
staircase, passageway, or pipe, so make sure it's safe before you use any of
these.
Bugs can go through Sylvesters if he uses a passageway or a pipe at the same
time the Sylvester does. However, he can still be killed if he passes one on a
staircase.
Bugs can fall directly onto staircases. If it's headed up, Bugs can choose
whether to go up or down from the middle of the staircase, even!
For some reason, Bugs cannot use a boxing glove if his back is against a wall.
***ENEMIES***
Sylvester #1: Essentially the equivalent to the green Sylvester of the NES
version of the game, this Sylvester will aggressively chase you throughout the
level, homing in on Bugs' position only, and pays no attention to where Bugs
may be headed, the Blinky of the Sylvesters. He can go both up and down
stairs, passageways, and pipes. However, while on the NES, he could easily be
distracted by shiny pipes, he is smarter on the Game Boy, and will more often
escape, even exiting a pipe when Bugs is between both ends. He plays in
passageways even less, too. This guy means business, so watch out for him! He
has a light grey nose in this game.
Sylvester #2: Identical to one of the two grey Sylvesters of the NES version.
If Bugs is standing still, or if Bugs is in his horizontal line of vision, he
will try to get to Bugs' exact position. However, if Bugs is moving and is not
in his horizontal line of vision, this Sylvester thinks ahead, and instead will
go to where Bugs is going, rather than where Bugs IS, essentially, the Pinky of
the Sylvesters. While he may have more forethought than Sylvester #1, he is
still less aggressive, and can be easily fooled at times, and cannot go down
passageways or pipes, but only up, and will almost always choose to go up if
given the option. He has a light grey nose in this game.
Sylvester #3: Similar to the other of the two grey Sylvesters of the NES
version, he's the unpredictable of the four Sylvesters, and arguably the
toughest in many situations due to that unpredictability. While it is
difficult to determine his unusual patterns, they do exist: he will only use
pipes, passageways or stairs if Bugs is moving. Also, he has no idea where
Bugs is in the level, but only knows whether Bugs is moving left or right, and
usually, will move in the opposite direction. Often, he becomes downright
confused when Bugs is standing still, and will wander back and forth in a
random area that could be far away from Bugs. Pretty much the Inky of the
Sylvesters. He has a black nose in this game.
Sylvester #4: Pretty much the same as the pink Sylvester of the NES version,
only stupider. Whereas on the NES, pink Sylvester would turn around and attack
Bugs if forced into a wall, this Sylvester will stupidly ram into the wall.
This Sylvester will always travel in the direction Bugs is moving, without
exception. Even if it means running into a wall... too stupid to turn around,
too, unless Bugs turns around. He's rarely a serious threat, the definite
Clyde of the Sylvesters. Like Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4 also has a black nose
in this game, but they're usually very easy to tell apart from personality
alone.
Yosemite Sam: He acts exactly like Sylvester #2, except he cannot use stairs,
passageways, or pipes. He is often used to guard a small section of a level.
Wile E. Coyote: He acts exactly like Yosemite Sam in every single way:
they're essentially the same enemy.
Daffy Duck: Like Yosemite Sam and Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck cannot use
stairs, passageways, or pipes. Aside from that, he acts a lot like Sylvester
#4, except Daffy Duck is smart enough to turn around and attack if forced into
a wall, unlike Sylvester #4, who just keeps trying to walk through the wall.
***ITEMS***
Carrot: There are 8 carrots in every level. All 8 must be collected in each
level to beat it and move on to the next. No exit needed to be found or
anything, you win the level as soon as Bugs get the eighth carrot. Each carrot
is worth 100 points, except for the last one collected in a level, which is
worth an extra life.
Potion: Also known as magic carrot juice, a swig of this stuff will make Bugs
invincible for 12 seconds--8 whole seconds longer than on the NES version!
Enough to obliterate almost every single enemy in levels with the potion! To
beat an enemy, all Bugs has to do is touch the enemy while Bugs is still
flashing. Be careful, though, not to pause the game while Bugs is invincible,
because the 12-second timer still counts down, and you'll be gypped of potion
time in doing so. Each enemy Bugs kills with his invincibility is worth 100
points.
Boxing Glove: If Bugs collects a boxing glove, it can be thrown in a straight
line across the screen. If it hits an enemy, the enemy dies, even if it
happens off screen, though the boxing glove is gone forever. If it hits a
wall, though, rather than an enemy, the boxing glove can be retrieved, and used
again. Furthermore, the boxing glove will shoot straight down if thrown
against a wall, and can kill an enemy below. You can carry multiple boxing
gloves at a time. Any enemy killed with a boxing glove is worth 500 points.
10-ton weight: This is an object that Bugs can push around on the floor, or
push over the edge of a platform. If it hits an enemy while in motion, it will
disappear, as well as kill the enemy. However, if the 10-ton weight is pushed
into a wall, or if it misses an enemy after being pushed off a ledge, it will
self-destruct, gone to waste. Any enemy killed with a 10-ton weight is worth
1000 points, though the 10-ton weight will actually go straight through, rather
than kill, an enemy that is falling. When pushed, the 10-ton weight moves 1
space at a time.
Safe: This is identical to the 10-ton weight, only it moves 2 spaces at a time
when pushed, making it a little more difficult to position how you may like.
Crate: This is identical to the 10-ton weight and safe, only it moves 3 spaces
at a time when pushed, making it even more difficult than the safe to position
how it may benefit Bugs most.
Bucket: This is identical to the 10-ton weight, the safe, and the crate, only
it moves 5 spaces at a time when pushed, usually enough to make only one push
the end of it, whether or not it kills an enemy.
No-Carrot Sign: Despite the instruction booklet for the game mentioning the
existence of the no-carrot sign, such item does not exist in the Game Boy
version of The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle, but only the NES version of the game.
Why is it mentioned in the instruction booklet? Your guess is as good as mine.
***WALKTHROUGH KEY***
************
* STAGE xx *
************: This is the stage number, from 01 to 80. Use the search
function to quickly find a specific stage.
Enemies: Which enemies appear in the level.
Weaponry: What weapons appear in the level. If there are multiple of a
particular weapon in the level--often the case with the boxing gloves--
then it will be followed by a number in parentheses, like (2), meaning there
are two of the weapon in the level.
Level Type: Whether the level is a brick level, stone level, or pipe level.
Also whether the level is aligned horizontally or vertically.
Difficulty: I'm fairly expert at all the levels, so I try to look at each
level objectively for this rating from 1-10, 10 being most difficult. And
heck, for the rare level that even I find difficult... that says something!
There's usually a bit explanation on what makes the levels easy or hard, too.
Here is the complete walkthrough for each level. Obviously, there are
(usually) multiple ways to get past a level, but this tries to find the easiest
way past. With practice, you may be able to manipulate all the enemies to go
exactly where you want them, and you may find more efficient ways to pass the
levels. For the most part, the directions here are not the fastest ways to
pass the levels, but the walkthrough is going for ease of use, not for speed.
***COMPLETE LEVEL WALKTHROUGH***
************
* STAGE 01 *
************
Enemies: Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: 10-ton weight (2), boxing glove
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 0. You won't die unless you do so deliberately.
Start the level by pushing the 10-ton weight to the left. Just keep pushing,
and you'll eventually push it right into Yosemite Sam, killing him. You'll
also get two carrots along the way. When you reach the left side of the level,
go up the passageway, then walk to the right, collecting the third carrot.
When you get to the second 10-ton weight, just push it over--it's useless.
Fall over the edge along with the weight to get your fourth carrot.
Go down the passageway here, and walk to your left to collect a boxing glove,
also useless. Climb up the staircase to the left for a sixth carrot. Go back
down the stairs, then travel to the left to get the last three carrots and beat
the level.
************
* STAGE 02 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, crate, boxing glove
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 1. At least something could go accidentally awry here.
As soon as the level starts, walk to the right to get your first carrot, but
don't push the crate yet. You'll soon notice Sylvester coming from the bottom-
right of the level, and he'll eventually take a passageway to get up to your
floor: as soon as he does, knock the crate into him. Go down that passageway,
then move to the right for the second carrot and a now-useless boxing glove.
Go up the passageway here, then go to the left for the third carrot. Go up
this passageway, then fall over the ledge to the right for carrots #4 and #5.
Go back to the passageway where the third carrot was, and go up. Walk to the
left, going down the next passageway to collect the sixth carrot. Go back up,
then walk to the left, pushing the now-useless 10-ton weight for the seventh
carrot. Fall off the ledge, then go down the passageway at the left side of
the level for the last carrot.
************
* STAGE 03 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #4
Weaponry: boxing glove (2)
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 1. Still only one enemy, but this time, he doesn't start in an
ultra-convenient spot.
Start by walking right, collecting a carrot. Go up the passageway, then walk
over to the right, and fall off the edge, collecting two more carrots and a
boxing glove. Use this on Sylvester should you run into him at any time.
Walk to the left to collect carrots #4 and #5.
Now, below you is another boxing glove and the sixth carrot. Either fall over
the ledge to the left or go down the passageway to the right--whichever is
safer, since Sylvester may be down here, and if he is, you should use your
boxing glove now. In either case, go back up the passageway, then go up the
passageway to the left, then climb a third passageway to the left. Walk to the
left edge of this platform, where the last two carrots are, but don't fall over
yet: if Sylvester is still alive, there's an excellent chance that he'll be
hanging right below, in the same spot as the final carrot. If you shoot your
boxing glove at the wall, it'll fall right on Sylvester's head, killing him,
and you can safely get the last two carrots. However, if you don't kill
Sylvester, you'll still win: in any level, if you get the final carrot at the
same time an enemy kills you, you still beat the level, and still get an extra
life, without ever losing a life! Neat, huh?
************
* STAGE 04 *
************
Enemies: Wile E. Coyote, Sylvester #3
Weaponry: bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 1. There are now two enemies, and they can be slightly tricky if
you haven't gotten the hang of the game yet. Otherwise, it's cake.
AS SOON AS YOU START THIS LEVEL, rush down the stairs to your left, getting the
carrot along the way. Then hurry down the passageway, rush down the stairs to
your right (don't worry about skipping the carrots around here for now), and
kick the bucket to your left, which will kill Wile E. Coyote. It's a bit of a
rush, but it's an easy way to get rid of half the annoyances in the level.
Once the coyote is dead, you can go back to get the two carrots you passed
earlier.
Go back up the passageway in the middle of the level, and then head up the
stairs to your left for a boxing glove and the fourth carrot: if Sylvester is
hanging around, just wait for him to go off for a bit before climbing up. Go
down the passageway up here for the fifth carrot. If Sylvester is hanging
around the passageway below, shoot a boxing glove at the wall so it'll knock
him on the head. If the coast is clear, then don't worry about that, and just
fall to the left, then go right for the sixth carrot, though if Sylvester is
alive, be alert for him, and punch if necessary. Climb up the stairs, then go
up the passageway here, then climb the stairs on the right for the seventh
carrot. Go down the passageway for carrot #8 and victory!
************
* STAGE 05 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1
Weaponry: boxing glove
Level type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 1. As long as you start the level by heading for the top first,
it's a snap.
Go left for your first carrot, but don't walk off the ledge. Climb the stairs
for the second carrot. Climb the passageway for the third carrot. Walk to the
right to climb another passageway to collect the fourth carrot and a boxing
glove. Go back down the passageway here, making sure Bugs is facing left: as
soon as Sylvester climbs to your level, knock him out with the glove. Once
he's dead, climb back up the passageway, then climb another. Walk to the right
for the fifth carrot. Climb up one more passageway for the sixth carrot. Walk
back down the level, going the same way you came, and you can easily get the
final two carrots at the bottom of the level.
************
* STAGE 06 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #2
Weaponry: bucket
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 1, as long as you're fast at the beginning.
As soon as the level starts, fall to the left for a carrot, but be quick before
Sylvester reaches here. Then fall to the right for a second, then hurry to the
left of the short pipe: you're safe from Sylvester here, and you'll never have
to deal with him for the rest of the level.
Go down the pipe here for a carrot and a useless bucket--kick it if you like.
When finished on this floor, go back up the pipe, then fall to the left. Walk
to the right for the fourth carrot, and fall over the ledge for the fifth
carrot. Fall to the bottom of the level for the sixth carrot. Go up the pipe
here, then go left, and go up the long pipe. Go right, up the stairs, for the
last two carrots.
************
* STAGE 07 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, safe, crate
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 5. The difficulty is ramped up a lot starting with this level.
Start by walking to the right to collect the first carrot. Continue walking,
over the edge, for the second carrot. Continue right, climb up the passageway
for carrot #3. Continuing right, walk off the edge--you'll push a crate to the
right on the way--and climb up the stairs for the fourth carrot.
Now, it gets trickier. Sylvester #1 is down below, and Sylvester #2 is chasing
you to your left. If you like, you can try to push the crate or the safe onto
Sylvester #1's head down below. It's difficult, but there's no harm in trying,
either. Either way, you'll have to fall down the hole on the right side of the
level, down to the bottom: don't worry about Sylvester #1. Even if you didn't
kill him, he's probably gone off a good distance away from this area by now.
If he hasn't, which is rare, just time your fall when he starts climbing the
staircase. Ignore the stairs, as you can't turn around until you finish
climbing, in case Sylvester #1 comes, but do go up the passageway for your
fifth carrot. Wait for Sylvester #1 to come back before making your next move:
if he climbs up the stairs to your left, go down the passageway and walk to
the left right below him. If he ignores the stairs, climb down the stairs
yourself, passing to the left right above him. You can try to kill him with
the 10-ton weight by pushing it into him, but it'll take a bit of fancy
footwork, and it's difficult to get him positioned well to kill him with it, so
it might not be worth it. Either way, continue to the left for the sixth
carrot, then continue left, climbing a passageway for the seventh carrot.
Now, there's only one carrot left, and you can see it right above you, just out
of reach. That's a pain to get to, but get to it we must. When Sylvester #1
comes, assuming you haven't killed him, wait for him to pass underneath you,
then fall off the ledge to the right, but be quick, since he'll take the
passageway up to where you are if you don't hurry. Continue right, climbing up
the passageway, then the staircase, then skipping the first passageway you come
to, climbing the second. Wait up here until the Sylvester(s) come for you,
then fall off to the left, climb the passageway to your left, and continue
trekking to the left until you get the final carrot! Finally! Pretty steep
learning curve for this game, no?
************
* STAGE 08 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4
Weaponry: crate, boxing glove, potion
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 2. The potion makes the level a breeze!
Start the level by climbing the stairs to your right for the game's first
potion and a carrot. Whenever you get a potion, you have 12 seconds to run
around the level to kill as many enemies as possible by simply touching them:
during this time, you should not go out of your way to get carrots, unless they
are just in the way while chasing down enemies. When you get to the staircase,
climb up and you'll get to kill Sylvester #3. Go back down the stairs and down
the passageway and you'll get to kill Sylvester #1 and get the second carrot.
We've just started the level and already two of the three enemies are out of
commission!
Continue left for a boxing glove. Continue left, ignoring all the staircases
for now, but getting the carrot next to the passageway. In all likelihood,
Sylvester #4 is stupidly standing next to the wall on the left side of the
level, either on the same floor you're on, or one floor below. If he's on your
floor, just throw a punch to kill him. If he's on the floor below, just go
down the passageway, then shoot him--he won't try to kill you so long as you
don't press RIGHT on the control, and there's no reason for you to, anyway.
Where ever he was, get the carrot on the second floor, then climb back up the
passageway and the stairs to get to the carrot at the top.
Walk to the right, climbing up the stairs where the potion once was, and just
continue moving right, falling off the ledge, and climbing up another set of
stairs to the sixth carrot. Just go back down the stairs and you can easily
get the two carrots below.
************
* STAGE 09 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: safe, crate, boxing glove
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 3. Despite all the enemies, the level isn't really too bad.
Walk to the right for a carrot, then climb the stars to your left. Climb up
the passageway when it's safe for another carrot. Walk to the passageway on
the left, but DO NOT CLIMB UP! Sylvester #2 will be coming from the right
above shortly, but don't worry, as he cannot go down passageways. There's a
good chance Sylvester #3 will also pass by, but as long as you don't move,
he'll leave you alone. Watch Sylvester #2's back-and-forth walking pattern.
As soon as he turns around to walk left, hurry to the right of the platform
you're on, climb up the passageway, turn left, and knock the crate into
Sylvester #2, and get the third carrot. Continue to the left, grabbing carrot
#4, and--when the coast is clear of Sylvester #3--climbing down the stairs. If
you have a good shot, you can try knocking the safe onto Sylvester #3 or
Yosemite Sam. Whether or not you do, get the carrot that was underneath the
staircase you just descended, then climb down the passageway and get the carrot
there, then walk to the right side of the floor you're on.
Wait at the edge here until Yosemite Sam starts walking to the left, beneath
you. Then fall from the platform, and hurry to the right, ignoring the stairs.
When you get the boxing glove, shoot Sylvester #4, who will usually be stupidly
running into the wall on the right side of the level. Climb the staircase for
carrot #7, and climb the passageway for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 10 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: crate, bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 4. The trickiest part is getting past the big hole in the middle
of the level to get to the right side.
Immediately go to the left, climbing all the sets of passageways for two
carrots and a boxing glove. Fall off the ledge at the top, and maneuver the
passageways here to get three carrots, starting with the bottom one--you want
to get the one on the bottom first, since a pair of Sylvesters will make this
difficult if you aren't quick about it. Wait at the right edge of the topmost
platform: you'll notice a wide gap here, and you must go to the bottom floor
to get to the right side of the level. This can be tricky, so just time your
fall so that most of the enemies are to your left when you take the plunge:
use your boxing glove if necessary. Or, if you have great timing, you can even
take out someone with the bucket, but more than likely, it'll go to waste.
Climb the passageway to your right, then climb the next one for a carrot.
Continue right, and climb the next passageway for another carrot. If you like,
you can try knocking the crate onto someone's head below, but it's not
necessary. Whether you do or don't, once you're done up here, fall off the
right edge for your final carrot.
************
* STAGE 11 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: boxing glove (2)
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 9! This level is absolutely deranged, and has no right appearing
this early in the game!
Ack! You start right in the middle of disaster! As tempting as it is to start
the level by going left, where that lonely boxing glove is smiling, don't--
Sylvester #2 is just dying to ambush you before you can get the glove, and of
course, once you start going down the staircase, there's no turning back.
Going down the pipe is also not an option, as Sylvester #3 and Yosemite Sam
will kill you, but since it looks like a suicidal move to begin with, you
probably weren't planning on that anyway, right?
Anyway, enough on what not to do, how about some help on what TO do? That's
what the FAQ is for, after all, right? You want to start the level by heading
right, falling off the edge, getting a carrot along the way (since you don't
really have a choice), but even this puts you in extreme danger from Sylvester
#3, who's practically anticipating this exact move, and will definitely kill
you unless you fall down to where Sam is when he's to your left (who, very
fortunately, will not turn around to kill you), and almost literally kiss his
butt, while making your way to the stairs, and of course, once you DO make it
to the stairs, hurry up and climb, because Yosemite will turn around once he
bumps into the wall, which kinda' forces him to turn. Ignore the two carrots
on the floor in the process, as this maneuver is quite difficult, and the
carrot is out of the way.
Now you can breathe--but only slightly. Climb up the next set of stairs for a
much-needed boxing glove. Save it for as long as you can, but use it if
necessary on any enemy who tries to kill you. If Sylvester #1 is going up and
down the pipe here, wait for him to start going up before falling off the
platform and continuing left, getting the second carrot in the process. Climb
the first two sets of stairs to your left, then grab the second boxing glove,
and fall down to your left, which will usually be enemy-free. Get the carrot
on the floor first, then climb the three sets of stairs to get the carrot on
the top, and wait at the right edge of that top platform. Do this quickly,
though, for it won't be long until the enemies DO come over!
Eventually, some Sylvesters will come from the right side of the level. If
it's Sylvester #3--he's the only one with a black nose--then ignore him, and
he'll leave you alone. If it's Sylvester #1 or #2--they both have grey noses--
then wait for him to fall below you, then hurry to the right, climbing the
stairs, and getting the fifth carrot. If one or two Sylvesters try to ambush
you, use one or two boxing gloves to slay them.
Continue to the right, falling off the ledge, and climbing the set of stairs
here for the sixth carrot. Continue to the very right of the level, falling
off the ledge here--the same one you were at earlier in the level. You aren't
going to be kissing Yosemite Sam's butt this time, but you'll want to watch his
pattern, and fall to the left when he starts walking right, under your
platform. Once you fall, hurry to the left for carrot #7, killing any stray
Sylvester who might run into you. If you still have a boxing glove left after
getting the seventh carrot, you can easily shoot Yosemite Sam with it for the
last carrot. If you don't have a boxing glove left, then climb the stairs, and
when Yosemite Sam passes underneath, hurry to the right, over the edge of your
platform, to the final carrot! After all that, you oughta' get some sort of
medal!
************
* STAGE 12 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #3, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 2. Nothing too difficult, but after the last level, you really do
deserve this break!
At the start of the level, notice that right below you is a pipe, leading down
to the bottom of the level, where Yosemite Sam and a bucket are. If you go
down the pipe at the start of the level, Yosemite Sam will walk over to the
left side of the bucket, giving you an easy kill by kicking it from the right.
Continue left for a carrot and a boxing glove. Go up the pipe for another
carrot, then fall off the edge, and go left for the third carrot. If either of
the Sylvesters bother you, just take him out with your boxing glove.
Go up the pipe at the start of the staircase, then go down the pipe to the
right of where you exit. Walk right for two more carrots, then go up the pipe
right before the staircase. Walk to the left for two more carrots, pushing a
10-ton weight along the way--sometimes you'll hit a Sylvester with it,
sometimes not, but it's not too big a deal either way. After you get the two
carrots, walk over to the right side of the level, go down the pipe right
before the edge, and get the final carrot. Pretty easy, really.
************
* STAGE 13 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #3, Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, safe
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 3. A little fancy footwork, but nothing too bad.
Get the carrot two steps to your right. Then go down any of the pipes, and get
the carrot on the left of the middle floor. Watch Yosemite Sam's movements,
and when it's safe, get the carrot on the bottom floor, then hurry up a pipe to
the middle. Continue right for a fourth carrot. When you get to the safe, you
can either wait for an enemy to come--sometimes you have to dance around a
bit--or you can just forget it. Either way, fall off the edge, then go up the
pipe on the RIGHT side of the 10-ton weight--you can usually kill Yosemite Sam
with this, so don't waste it! Above you is a carrot on the top floor:
Sylvester may also be up there, so just watch his movements and grab it when
it's safe, then hurry back down to the middle floor. Continue right for the
sixth carrot. If Sylvester's not around, get the carrot on the top floor, then
wait for a clearing to get the last carrot on the bottom floor. If Sylvester's
hanging around, though, get the one on the bottom first, since Sylvester can
trap you if you get the one on the top first.
************
* STAGE 14 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, bucket, potion
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 1. Probably easier than Level 3.
Start the level by walking to the right, grabbing the carrot and the potion.
Fall off the platform, then climb the stairs, and run into Sylvester #3 here.
Also grab the carrot. Head back to the left, down the staircase, then head to
the right, collecting a third carrot while pushing a 10-ton weight along the
way. Eventually you'll crash it into Sylvester #4, stupidly ramming into the
wall, as usual. Climb the stairs for carrot #4. Climb the passageway for
carrot #5. Walk to the left, and climb down the passageway for the sixth
carrot.
Fall back down to ground level, then walk to the left. Climb up the staircase
heading right. Then climb the stairs heading left, and continue left for the
seventh carrot. Head back to the right, climbing the stairs you see, for the
last carrot.
************
* STAGE 15 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #2
Weaponry: boxing glove
Level Type: brick, vertical
Difficulty: 1. Probably easier than Level 14.
Hurry down to the boxing glove before Sylvester reaches it, then kill him when
he climbs up the passageway. It's that easy: making the walkthrough for this
level longer would be an insult to your intelligence. But just for the sake of
it: climb up and down the three passageways in the level for whatever carrots
you didn't already get on your way to the boxing glove.
************
* STAGE 16 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: bucket (2), boxing glove
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 2. If you started on Level 14, this level will seem insanely
hard. Otherwise, there's not much to it.
Start by going down the passageway to your left--as if you had a choice.
Continue right, grabbing a carrot along the way. Go down the passageway right
below the boxing glove. Kick the bucket to the right, then stand to the left
of where the bucket stops. If a Sylvester climbs up the passageway to the
right of the bucket, be ready to kick it. But also keep an eye on the floor
above you, and notice the bucket to the left of the top of the passageway that
you could go up here. If you see Yosemite Sam, hurry up the passageway and
kick that bucket into him.
Go left, up the passageway to get a carrot. Go back down, then continue left,
and go up the passageway here for a boxing glove. Go back down, and continue
left, and go up the very last passageway for another carrot. Climb down three
sets of passageways for another carrot. Climb back up to the second floor, and
go down the passageway that leads to the room with the carrot. Climb back up
that passageway and continue right for another carrot. Continue right, then go
down another passageway leading to another room with a carrot. Continue right,
going up the next two sets of passageways--kill any enemy that makes trouble
with your boxing glove--then fall off the ledge to the right, onto the final
carrot.
************
* STAGE 17 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #2, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 4. A bit of fancy footwork at a couple of points, but nothing
serious.
Fall to the right of the platform you start on--not that you have a choice,
really. Go down the passageway on your right, then go left for a carrot. Go
back right for a carrot, but don't fall off the edge. Go down the passageway
on your left for another carrot and a boxing glove. If you can sneak down
below to snatch the fourth carrot from Wile E. Coyote, that's great, but if you
have trouble, you may need to use the boxing glove on him.
After you get the carrot Wile E. was guarding, climb up the two sets of
passageways to get to the floor Daffy Duck resides. Try to get into the
passageway he is guarding without killing him: keep in mind that as long as
you're staying still, he'll head for the right side of the level--that's the
best time to sneak past him. Then kick the bucket atop his head! If you still
have your boxing glove, use it on Sylvester: otherwise, you'll just have to
avoid him from hereon out. Go left for the fifth carrot, and climb the two
passageways ahead. Go right to climb the next passageway, and get the carrot
to the left. Fall off the platform on the right to get the final two carrots.
************
* STAGE 18 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4
Weaponry: boxing glove (2), potion
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 3. The beginning is slightly tricky, but even if you can't kill
all four enemies with the potion, the two boxing gloves will take care of
anyone you might miss!
Start by getting the boxing glove to your left, and continue left until the
dark-nosed Sylvester #4 starts to move. Head down the passageway to your
right. Sylvester #4 will go away, while Sylvester #2 will come in for the
kill. Knock him out with your boxing glove. Go down the passageway to your
left, then go right for the potion. Immediately go back up the passageway,
then go up the passageway to your right, then up the stairs immediately to your
left. Continue right--you'll get your first carrot along the way--and hurry
and kill the two Sylvesters over here while you are still invincible. Go down
the two passageways over here for two more carrots, and climb the staircase at
the top-right corner of the level for a fourth carrot.
Head back up the staircase that leads over to the left side of the level, and
climb down the stairs straight left. Climb up the next set of stairs for
another carrot. If you see Sylvester #4 at any time hanging around, feel free
to shoot him with your boxing glove. Go back down the stairs, and continue
right, going down the passageway. Get the carrot right to your right. Go
left, down the next passageway, then go right for the seventh carrot. Go back
left for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 19 *
************
Enemies: Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: safe, bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 3. Aside from a few blind "pipes of faith," so to speak, there's
nothing overly tricky about this level.
Go up the stairs to your left for your first carrot. Now, see the pipe right
to your left? You're going to have to go up. You can't see Yosemite Sam yet,
but he's waiting for you, and if you're unlucky, he'll kill you as soon as you
exit on the top. If you don't waste a moment, though, and get the carrot and
go up the pipe in one swift move as soon as the level starts, he won't hit you:
otherwise, you'll just have to rely on luck. Once you reach the end of this
pipe, immediately go up the next pipe. You'll want to fall onto the bucket to
your left when Yosemite is to the left of the bucket, but make sure he's down
from the slop first--you can even fall right onto Yosemite, and won't even be
hurt--he'll die before you touch him! With Yosemite dead, get the two carrots
he was guarding, then go up the small pipe.
Go right for another carrot, and wait at the pipe sitting against the right
wall. If you don't see Daffy, go down the pipe--if you do see him, keep
running into the wall, and he'll eventually go away. With Daffy gone, go down
the pipe. Get the carrot to your left, then go down the pipe to the right of
where the carrot was. On the other end of this pipe, you'll get another
carrot. Right below you is Wile E. Coyote, guarding a boxing glove that you
can see, and a carrot just out of view. Before falling off the left edge of
your platform down to where Wile E. is, wait for him to start walking right,
then hurry off, and hurry up the stairs. Wait at the top of the stairs for
Wile E. to start walking past you--don't worry about him kill you, since Wile
E. Coyote cannot climb stairs. When it's safe, hurry down the stairs, continue
right for the boxing glove, then do an about face and smack Wile E. Coyote with
it. Go back to the left for the carrot that Wile E. was guarding earlier.
Climb back up the staircase, and go up the pipe here. Again, you'll have to
rely on luck that Daffy won't be waiting right atop your exit, but most of the
time, he'll be far to the right. Assuming that's the case, kick the safe into
him--it may take a few kicks, but you'll get him. Climb up the staircase for
the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 20 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 6. A lot of enemies, combined with a lack of weapons, can make
this level a bit on the tough side.
Start the level by going left, going down a staircase in the process. Continue
left for a carrot and a boxing glove, and wait at the bottom of the passageway:
above you is a 10-ton weight and Sylvester #2. He can't kill you here, since
he cannot go down passageways. Eventually, he'll walk to the left of the
10-ton weight. If you hurry, you can go up the passageway and push it into
him. Now on the top level, walk right a little for the second carrot. Fall
off the ledge to your left, but don't fall down the next ledge yet. If
Sylvester #4 or Daffy Duck is hanging too close to the left side of the level,
run into the wall to your right until they go away. Then fall off this ledge
to get the third carrot.
Fall to your right, then continue walking right. Kill Daffy for the fourth
carrot, hiding under the staircase up ahead, but you should not kill Sylvester
#4, since as usual, he'll stupidly ignore you so long as you don't turn back to
the left... of course, if you used the boxing glove on Daffy, then you can't
really kill Sylvester #4, anyway. After getting the carrot, keep walking to
the left, to bring Sylvester #4 over to the left side of the level, just to
keep him out of your way--return back to the right, and up two sets of
staircases, after getting him to go up the passageway on the left side of the
level. Continue left, and go down the passageway, and fall off the left edge
for the fifth carrot. Go back up all three sets of stairs and continue right
for your sixth carrot. If it's safe, you can wait by the bucket for Sylvester
#1 or Sylvester #3 to kill them--it'll usually be Sylvester #1. If it isn't
safe, though, just go straight ahead, falling over the edge for the seventh
carrot. When it's safe from the two Sylvesters (or only one if you killed one
with the bucket), fall to the left and grab the last carrot.
************
* STAGE 21 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: bucket, boxing glove (2)
Level Type: brick, vertical
Difficulty: 5. A bit tricky until you can get to the boxing gloves.
Now, a note about the bucket at the beginning of the level: I recommend you
ignore it. If you're patient, and you're knowledgable enough about Sylvester
#2's patterns of movement, you can wait to use it to kill him before proceeding
with the rest of the level. It's difficult, though, and it also gives time for
Sylvester #1--a nightmare in this level--to bother you while in the top half of
the level, so it's probably not worth it. But hey, if you want to try for it,
it's very possible to kill Sylvester #2 with that bucket and still dodge
Sylvester #1. But if you're unsure about your skill level, just skip it.
Anyway, assuming you take my advice about not trying to use the bucket, start
the level by going right to collect a carrot--you'll kick the bucket into
oblivion in the process, but we don't care. Fall off the edge for a second
carrot, then go down the passageway for a third. Go back up the passageway,
then go left, and up the stairs. Go down the passageway ahead for the fourth
carrot.
Now, you'll want to fall to your left, but Sylvester #1 and/or Sylvester #2 is
probably waiting down there for you: both have an irritating tendency to stand
guard in that area, but there's a neat little trick to get them away: go back
up the passageway, then move next to the wall on the left side of the level.
The pair of Sylvesters will soon run away! When it's safe, go back down the
passageway, fall off the left edge of that platform, then hurry down the
passageway to the right of where you fall. Get the carrot here.
Next, go down the stairs to the right, but be careful in case Sylvester #3 is
hanging around. Go down the stairs to your left for a boxing glove--use this
on Sylvester #3 or Daffy Duck if they get in your way. Go down the stairs to
your right, then go left for another boxing glove and a carrot--again, take out
both Sylvester #3 and Daffy Duck. Go to the right side of the bottom floor for
the seventh carrot. If Sylvester #1 isn't around, then go right up the stairs
on the right side for the final carrot. If he's around, though, simply take
the left set of stairs and go around for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 22 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: bucket, boxing glove, potion
Level Type: brick, vertical
Difficulty: 4. Getting past Wile E. Coyote can be a little tricky.
Immediately head right for the first carrot, then go back to the passageway on
the left. Go down the passageway when Sylvester #2 starts going up, and you'll
pass by unscathed. Now, don't touch the bucket yet--useless as it may seem,
it's useful for getting rid of Sylvester #1. He's at the bottom of the stage,
but if you wait right next to the wall on the left of the level, he'll come up
to you eventually. He will either come from right below, or he'll come from
the right side of the screen--if he comes from below, you'll have plenty of
time to react, but stay alert, because you'll have to be quick if he comes from
the right instead. Either way, when he comes up the passageway to your level,
kick the bucket into him. Walk a few more steps to the right for your second
carrot. Go down the passageway for your third carrot.
Now, right below you you'll see Wile E. Coyote, guarding a couple of carrots
and the only passage to the bottom half of the level. Getting around him can
be tricky, unless you use the left wall trick you used in the previous level:
simply face the wall on the left side of the level, and Wile E. Coyote will
soon start running away. Once he's gone, hurry down the passageway, then hurry
to the right, getting a carrot in the process, down the passageway in the
middle of the level before Wile E. comes back. Get the boxing glove here--kill
Sylvester #3 whenever he gets in your way. Go down the staircase to your right
and get the carrot to your right. Go down the passageway for another carrot.
On the left side of the bottom floor is a potion: don't get that quite yet.
First, get the carrot that's right above the bottom floor: use the stairs next
to the potion to get to it. Then grab the potion, and head back to the floor
Wile E. Coyote is on for the final carrot on the right side of his floor. If
Wile E. gets in your way, just crash right into him to kill him. Even if he's
not in your way, feel free to kill him: killing's fun after all, right? In
either case, the last carrot will be to your right.
************
* STAGE 23 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: safe, bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 4. It's not overly difficult, but you've got to do a whole lot of
walking around here.
Daffy Duck and Sylvester #4 start right below where you start: walk right a
little bit to the first carrot to get them to start walking right, then turn
to the left. Go down the passageway on the left side of the level for the
second carrot, then fall to the left. Climb up the staircase and wait by the
safe: smash it into Wile E. Coyote when he comes by. If Sylvester #1 comes
around, just walk to the right a little, beneath the staircase: you can push
the safe a couple of times before it self-destructs here. Once Wile E.'s dead,
grab the third carrot, and continue walking right. You'll get the fourth
carrot. When you reach the right side of the level, climb the staircase and
grab the fifth carrot--you may or may not get to kill Sylvester #1 with the
bucket. If you can't, just go back down the way you came, to the bottom floor
of the level, walking to the left.
When you get to the passageway, the carrot down there may or may not be safe to
collect: if Daffy's away, you can probably get it, but you may have to save it
for later if he's waiting right beside it. After you do or don't get the
carrot, climb up the stairs to your left, grab the carrot next to the
passageway on the right, and then climb up said passageway. Continue right,
and climb the next passageway you see for a carrot: if you got the carrot by
Daffy earlier, this is your last one. If you missed the carrot Daffy was
guarding earlier, though, don't worry: fall off the ledge to your right for
the precious boxing glove! Then head back down to the bottom floor, walk all
the way back to the left, shoot Daffy with the boxing glove, and claim that
final carrot!
************
* STAGE 24 *
************
Enemies: Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: crate, bucket
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 2. You could use the break about now, too.
Start the level by walking to your left, collecting two carrots, then knocking
a conveniently-placed bucket straight into Yosemite Sam, then collecting a
third carrot. When you reach the left side of the level, climb the staircase
for the fourth carrot. Fall off the edge and climb the next staircase for the
fifth carrot. Fall off the ledge and climb the next staircase for the sixth
carrot. Fall off the ledge and... are you noticing a pattern here? Well, the
same thing for the seventh carrot. The eighth carrot--you can see it on the
bottom right of the level--is the only carrot with any slight degree of
difficulty collecting, and even that's cake if you know what to do. Simply go
up the passageway on the right side of the level, then start walking left--if
you see Daffy Duck, don't worry, as he will walk in the same direction you are
going, and you'll eventually get to hit him with the crate. Go down the
leftmost passageway, and head right, falling off three ledges. After the
third ledge you fall from, head down the staircase, then head straight to the
right for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 25 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 3. A little tougher than the last level, but still nothing to be
worried about.
Wait a second before doing anything, then walk up to Sylvester #4, to get him
walking to the right. Then walk back to the left, collecting a boxing glove,
and fall off the ledge, getting a carrot. When you see Daffy Duck stop below
you, dance a little bit on your small platform to get him away so you can
safely fall down to his level. See the two pipes below you? Go down the one
on the right, but HOLD THE UP BOTTON! This way, you'll be able to see Wile E.
Coyote below you, but since the right pipe doesn't reach the ground, you'll be
safe from him. Stand next to the left-hand wall, and go down that pipe once
you see Wile. E. start to retreat. Go right for a couple of carrots, and in
the process, killing Wile E. with the bucket.
Go back up the pipe on the left side of the level, then head up the pipe right
about where you exit: you'll be about where you started the level. Head up
both flights of stairs here, using your boxing glove on Sylvester #4 when you
spot him. Go down the pipe on the top floor to get a carrot. Fall off the
ledge to your right, then head right, going up the pipe right before the gap on
the right side of the level, for a carrot. Then head back down the pipe, and
fall into that gap for two more carrots. Daffy Duck is guarding the final
carrot below, but if he's not around, fall down there and nab it. If he is
guarding it, though--and he usually is, really--then just keep running into the
wall to your right, and Daffy will eventually retreat to the left side of the
level, leaving the carrot easy pickings for Bugs.
************
* STAGE 26 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, safe, crate
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 4. Sylvester #1 can be a nightmare in this level, but
fortunately, he isn't too hard to take out.
Immediately start the stage by getting the carrot to your right, but continue
running right into the wall until Daffy starts moving. Then head up the two
passageways to your left. You'll be next to the crate. When Daffy Duck is
lined up, push that crate onto him. By now, Sylvester #1 will be in hot
pursuit: VERY QUICKLY fall to your left, and continue going left, climbing up
the next two passageways. Sylvester #1 should be walking back and forth below
you: when lined up, push the 10-ton weight onto him. Go back down a floor to
get the carrot you skipped a moment ago, then continue scaling the left side of
the level for two more carrots. Drop down the middle of the level, and scale
the right side of the level for a couple more carrots.
The only two carrots remaining are on the bottom floor of the level, along with
Wile E. Coyote and a safe. Take the passageway down on the left side of the
level, so that you're on the floor directly above Wile E. Coyote, and note his
pattern. If he's mostly hanging around the left side of the safe, then fall to
your right, and kick the safe to the left into him. If he's more hanging to
the right of the safe, though, then quickly head down the passageway on the
bottom-left, and kick the safe to the right, killing the coyote. The two
carrots on the bottom of the level are then yours for the taking.
************
* STAGE 27 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: bucket, potion
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 4. The potion is a little tricky to get to, but once you do get
it, the level is yours.
Start the level by going right, falling off the ledge, then heading down the
stairs. Don't be in too big a rush, though, or you'll crash into Daffy Duck,
so take your time. At the bottom of the stairs, kick the bucket into Daffy.
Hurry up the stairs on the right side of the level, and--when it's safe--climb
the stairs that lead to the potion. Kill the two Sylvesters and Wile E. Coyote
before proceeding--you'll get a carrot when you kill the coyote.
Done that? Good. Now, just so we're all in the same place, let's go back to
where you got the potion. Go down the stairs on the left for a carrot. Then
head down the stairs to your right for another carrot. Along the bottom of the
level, walk to the left for two more carrots. Go up the pipe on the left side
of the level for the seventh carrot. Climb the stairs to your right, then go
over the edge, then left a step for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 28 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, safe
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 3. The level looks a lot harder than it is, with a relentless
Sylvester who would normally be tough to shake. Oddly enough, thanks to the
odd pipe design in this level, he isn't too much of a nuisance, though.
A note about the safe: when you start the level, you will notice a safe to the
start of where Bugs Bunny starts. It is entirely possibly to kill Sylvester
with this safe, but it is also very difficult. As annoying as Sylvester is,
trying to kill him is a lot more dangerous. Do so at your own risk. For the
purposes of this walkthrough, we're going to assume that you aren't concerned
about killing Sylvester.
OK, that out of the way, the first thing you want to do is walk to the right
for a carrot. Then go down the longer pipe on the left. Walk a bit to the
left for the second carrot, then push the 10-ton weight to the right--you'll
eventually hit Yosemite Sam with it. Head up the staircase here for the third
carrot. Head back down the staircase, then go up the pipe to your right. Go
up the staircase to your left for your fourth carrot. Go down the oddly-shaped
pipe here for your fifth carrot, then go back up the oddly-shaped pipe. Go
down the stairs, and keep going left for another carrot. Go down the pipe next
to where the carrot was for the seventh carrot, and head down the stairs here
for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 29 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: crate, bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 4. It's a little tougher if Yosemite Sam doesn't fall to the
bottom, though, but nothing too serious here.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As soon as you start the level, you'll see Yosemite Sam
starting next to a small staircase--the kind that he normally does not climb.
However, since the staircases actually start below ground level, rather than at
ground level like usual, he will climb them. However, a weird glitch: for
some reason, if Yosemite Sam starts the level going right instead of left, he
will fall through, joining Daffy Duck and Wile E. Coyote on the bottom of the
level. This makes the level much easier.
When you start the level, IMMEDIATELY walk to the right of Yosemite Sam, so he
starts the level walking to his right instead of left, and as such, he'll fall
through the staircase to the bottom of the level. You'll get a carrot along
the way. Continue right, down the staircase, for a second carrot, walk to the
left for a boxing glove and a third carrot--you don't have to press up to walk
up the small sets of stairs jetting from under the platforms, but if you really
wanted, it won't hurt. Go up the pipe on the right side, then continue left
for the fourth carrot--retreat back into the pipe if Sylvester tries to attack,
then just go back into the pipe a third time to get back to the left side of
the level. Continue left, going up a short pipe for another carrot. Continue
left, climbing down some stairs for carrot #6.
Sylvester is probably coming after you about now, and you want to go back to
the right side of the level. If Sylvester is coming from the top floor, take
the middle. If he's coming from the middle floor, take the top. Either way,
take either of the two pipes that lead back to the right side of the level,
and once on the right side of the level, take either of the two pipes that lead
to the bottom floor. In the unlikely event that Daffy Duck is still here, just
kick the bucket into him. Go left for the seventh carrot, and when you get to
the crate, wait for an enemy to come by to smash into it. Then fall down for
the final carrot, shooting anyone who might get in your way with your boxing
glove.
************
* STAGE 30 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: boxing glove (2)
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 2
Walk to the left for a boxing glove and carrot, but don't go down the stairs.
Instead, wait for Sylvester #2 to come up the stairs, then knock him out with
your glove. Then head to the right, going up the second passageway you see.
Continue right, getting a second carrot, then continue right, heading down the
"slide" for another boxing glove and the third carrot. Head back left, up the
large slope, falling off the left ledge up ahead, and going up the passageway
to your left. Continue left for another carrot, continue down another large
slope, similar to the one on the right side of the level, for another carrot.
Climb back up the slope, then fall off the right ledge, and continue right for
another carrot. Climb down the stairs to your right, then go left, to the edge
of the small platform. When Wile E. Coyote walks off, fall down there and
shoot him with your boxing glove, making sure you step away from the wall, else
you won't be able to shoot for some reason. Continue left for carrot #7.
Now it gets only slightly tricky: in all likelihood, Sylvester #4 is guarding
the final carrot, and he'll just keep running into the wall next to the carrot,
now allowing you access. Sneak past him, climbing up the set of stairs--don't
worry about him catching you off guard, since he'll hold on to that carrot for
dear life until you start up the staircase--and keep going right. When you get
to the stairs, just walk down. When you get to the wall, just keep pushing
right toward it, and continue until you see Sylvester #4 walking down the large
slope above--then head back up that staircase, and continue left, climbing down
the next set of stairs for that final carrot!
************
* STAGE 31 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: boxing glove, potion (2)
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 3. As long as your fast once you get the potions, you shouldn't
have much trouble.
Head down the passageway to your left. Continue left, but stop at the next
passageway. When Yosemite Sam passes to the left on the floor below, hurry
down the passageway, then hurry down the passageway to your right, getting a
carrot on the way. Continue to the right for a boxing glove. Go up the next
two passageways to your right, getting another carrot along the way--at any
point here if you see Sylvester, shoot him with your boxing glove. Continue
right, and go up the next passageway for your third carrot. Go back down,
then continue to the right. Get the potion, then go up the next passageway to
kill Wile E. Coyote with your invincibility, as well as getting the carrot he
was guarding.
Go back down this passageway, then go down the passageway to your left, then go
down the passageway to your right for the fifth carrot. Go back up the
passageway, then head left for your sixth carrot. Head down the next
passageway, and go left for another potion. Now VERY QUICKLY so you can kill
both Yosemite Sam and Daffy Duck before your potion wears off, go up the next
passageway to your left, then take the down-leading passageway to your left,
then take the next passageway up, kill Yosemite Sam, then go up the passageway
here, then go up the passageway at the top left of the level to kill Daffy and
get the seventh carrot. From here, you can leisurely climb down the three
passageways on the left of the level to get the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 32 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: safe, boxing glove, potion
Level Type: brick, vertical
Difficulty: 3
Start the level by walking to the right side of the passageway leading up:
this will draw Sylvester #1 to the floor below you. Soon, you'll notice him
walking back and forth on the left side of the safe. When he starts walking
back to the left, hurry down the passageway to your right, then go left to kick
the safe right into him, getting a carrot in the process. Go back up the
passageway to your right, then head left, going up the passageway there. Go
back right, getting a carrot along the way, and go up the next passageway.
Head left, getting the third carrot, but don't go up the next passageway yet if
Sylvester is on the top floor. Instead, watch his pattern, and hurry up the
passageway when he's to the left side. Hurry to the right, grabbing a boxing
glove and a carrot, then falling over the right edge, down to a little platform
with another carrot.
Fall to the left, then continue left, going down the next passageway. Go right
for another carrot. Go down the passageway here, then go down the passageway
to your left to get the potion, but be prepared to kill Wile E. Coyote or
Sylvester #4 with your boxing glove if necessary. While invincible, head left
for the seventh carrot, then head back right, going up the next two
passageways, then fall over the right edge for the eighth carrot.
************
* STAGE 33 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, boxing glove, potion
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 3
IMMEDIATELY start the level by going left, falling off the edge, then go right,
pushing the 10-ton weight into Daffy Duck. If you dawdle, it'll be tough to
kill Daffy this easily. Go up the pipe to your right, then head left. Go down
the pipe up ahead for a carrot, then go back up. Fall off the ledge edge for
another carrot, then go up the very long pipe above you.
When you reach the other end, you may be ambushed by Sylvester #2 from above,
Wile E. Coyote from below, both of them, or neither. If both attack at the
same time, hurry back down the pipe, then head back up again. If only
Sylvester #2 attacks, or if no one is attacking, hurry off the pipe, then go up
the next pipe to your right. If only Wile E. Coyote is waiting for you, then
keep in mind that you're next to the left-hand wall of the level, meaning that
as usual, the coyote will go away after a bit, then go up the pipe to your
right. And just go up that pipe if no one is attacking, too. Go right for a
carrot. Get the potion right below you, and quickly knock out Wile E. Coyote
and Sylvester #2.
Done that? Good. Now, starting back from where you got the potion, go down
the tiny pipe below you, then head right. Go up the pipe on the right side of
the level for a carrot. Fall down to the right, then go left for another
carrot and a boxing glove--use this on Sylvester #4 should he get in your way
at any point. Climb up the large staircase to your left, then the small one
once you reach the top of that one for another carrot. Continue right for
another carrot, then go up the pipe here. Go up the pipe to your left, then
fall to your right for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 34 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: crate, boxing glove
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 6. A far cry from the easier levels you've been hit with lately,
three of the four enemies in this level--especially Sylvester #1--don't give
you much of a break, and the lack of weapons doesn't help, either.
QUICKLY start the level by going up the passageway to your left for a boxing
glove: use this only when absolutely necessary, as the weapon supply is quite
stingy for this level. Also, make sure to collect it very quickly, before the
enemies start moving: most notably, you don't want Sylvester #4, who you can
see right below you, to walk to his left: you want him to go right, and if you
get the left-moving out of your system quickly enough, you won't have to worry.
Fall over the right edge, then continue right for a carrot. Go down the
passageway ahead for a second carrot. Wait on the left side of the bottom of
this passageway for a bit, to get Yosemite Sam and Sylvester #1, below, to
gather near you (Sylvester #2, who will probably find his way above you, won't
bother you here). When Yosemite and Sylvester #1 both start heading to the
right, hurry to the left, go down the passageway, and smash the crate into one
of them (preferably Sylvester #1, but you don't really get a say in the
matter). Either way, once one of them dies, hurry back to your spot to the
left of the passageway--that carrot the three enemies were guarding is very
dangerous to collect, and best saved for last.
Anyway, Sylvester #2 is probably hovering on the floor above you again. When
he goes to the right side of the passageway, hurry up, then hurry to the left.
When you get to the passageway where the boxing glove was earlier, go up, then
continue left for another carrot. Go down the next passageway for another
carrot, then fall to the left: Sylvester #2 won't bother you anymore this
level, if he's still living. If Sylvester #1 is alive, kill him with your
boxing glove if he gets in your way, if you still have it: otherwise, you'll
have to try to dance around the level to dodge him. I'm assuming that isn't
the case, though.
Anyway, from the bottom left of the level where you are, go right for another
carrot. Go up the passageway, then head up the stairs for the sixth carrot.
Go back down the stairs and head right for the seventh carrot. Continue right,
falling over the edge when safe, and just keep truckin' right until you get to
the final carrot! Tough, wasn't it?
************
* STAGE 35 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4.
Weaponry: safe, boxing glove, potion
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 1. At least most of the other potion-filled levels make you earn
the potion first.
Start the level by going right, going up the passageway, and continuing right
for a potion, completely unguarded. While invincible, head back to the left to
kill the four Sylvesters. Sylvesters #1 and #2 will be on your trail,
attempting to ambush you, but of course, since you're invincible, they'll just
die upon touch. Go up the passageway on the left to get to the top half of the
level, where Sylvesters #3 and #4 hang out. Just touch them to kill them.
OK, enemies out of the way, let's return back to the start of the level to keep
everyone in the same spot. From where you started, head right for a carrot--
may or may not be your first, depending on where you chased Sylvesters #3 and
#4 to above. The safe to your right is obviously useless now, since all the
enemies are dead. Head up the passageway to your left, and climb the stairs
for another carrot. (Semi-interesting note: the stairs used in this level are
the ones normally reserved for brick levels. Possibly a mistake, or possibly
intentional, I couldn't say.) Continue left for two more carrots on the left
side of the level.
Head back right, going up the passageway to the top half of the level. Head
left up here, going up the passageway on the left side of the level, then back
right for another carrot, though it's entirely possible you already got this
carrot chasing down Sylvesters #3 and #4... just go along anyway just to keep
everyone together. Continue right for another carrot--you may have also
collected this one already, but you have to go this way regardless--and a
boxing glove, also now-useless. Fall over the edge at the right side of the
level for the seventh carrot, and fall to the left of that ledge for the final
carrot.
************
* STAGE 36 *
************
Enemies: Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: boxing glove, potion
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 1. It's a little tougher than Level 35, but that's really not
saying much.
Start the level by quickly heading down the passageway to your right, grabbing
the boxing glove and carrot here, then going back up the passageway when
Yosemite Sam and Wile E. Coyote are walking to the left side of the top exit of
the passageway--done that and you're home free, since this is the ONLY part of
the level with any slight degree of difficulty! Back on the top floor,
continue walking right for a carrot, and using either of the passageways--
whichever is safer--go down a floor and shoot Daffy Duck with your boxing
glove. Head left, falling off the edge for a carrot. Then head right, falling
off to the bottom of the level, and continue right for a potion. Chase down
Yosemite Sam and Wile E. Coyote, who are probably right above you, either on
the third or top floor.
With all enemies dead now, get back to the top floor. Keep walking left,
falling over the ledge, and continuing left for another carrot. Head up the
passageway here for another carrot. Fall off the right edge, and continue
right for the sixth carrot. Go back left, going down the passageway for the
seventh carrot. Head down the next passageway, then go right, up a flight of
stairs to the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 37 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 4. A little tricky, and you have to be quick, but as long as you
kill the two most aggravating foes in the level--Sylvester #1 and Wile. E.
Coyote--it shouldn't be too bad.
Step next to the bucket on your right, and kick it into Sylvester #1 when he
comes into view--he'll make your life miserable here if you don't kill him.
Then HURRY up the tiny pipe to your left, else Wile E. Coyote will kill you.
If Sylvester #4 is to the left of the pair of tiny pipes climb the second one
too. If he's not, then move a little to the left to get him to that side.
Walk left up here for the first carrot, then walk right for a boxing glove.
Walk down the stairs for the second carrot, and fall off the edge. Once at the
bottom of the stage, shoot your boxing glove to the left, even if you don't see
anyone--it'll kill Wile E. Coyote even if he's off-screen!
Head left, back up the tiny pipe, but don't go up the second one this time.
Instead, head right for a carrot, and fall off the right edge for another
carrot. Head back for that same tiny little pipe, and again, ignore the second
tiny pipe. This time, head left, falling over the left edge, and get the
carrot that's stuck in the stairs. Head up the stairs, and fall off the ledge
at the top for the sixth carrot. Fall over another ledge for the seventh
carrot. Go down the stairs to your right, then head left, and go up the pipe
at the very left end of the level for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 38 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: crate, boxing glove (2)
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 7. Yikes! Despite that only Sylvesters #1 and #2 pose a real
threat, the other two enemies have this nasty habit of showing up in the worst
places, making the two boxing gloves tough to reach.
Like Level 11, this is another level where beginning in a certain direction
means instant death, in this case, right. Don't go right. On the other hand,
it's not exactly like going right looks like a good idea, anyway. Head left at
the start of the level, getting a carrot along the way. Head down the
passageway on the very left side, right before the gap on the very left of the
level, for another carrot. Keep running into the wall on your left to bring
Daffy Duck over, and when he's to the very left side of the level, drop down to
the bottom floor, hurry up the staircase, go down the passageway ahead of you,
go back left, and kick the crate into Daffy Duck, getting a carrot in the
process! And as often, you must be quick about doing this, as you don't want
Daffy to walk on over to the right side of the crate, or even worse, for
Sylvester #1 to start shadowing you. With Daffy Duck dead, head to the very
right side of the level for another carrot and a precious boxing glove.
Wait underneath the really long staircase for either Sylvester #1 or Sylvester
#2 to come along, and shoot him. In the highly unlikely even that Sylvester #4
is around, leave him alone, as he is easy: he will be the only one with a
black nose, for easy reference. Anyway, after shooting one of the two
Sylvesters, wait for the other of the two grey-nosed Sylvesters to start
climbing the staircase, then head left, and go up the passageway you come
across. Go right a step for another carrot. Go left, up the next passageway,
then go right, up the passageway there, for another carrot. Now keep running
right into the wall to your right--this will draw out Sylvester #4, who will
start heading right. If he's on the second floor, then just keep running into
the wall until he's off-screen. If he goes to the third floor, however, then
hurry left, going off the left edge of your platform, right before he attempts
to come up the passageway leading to where you are.
Continue left, falling into the small gap on the left side of the level, for a
boxing glove and carrot #7. Fall off the ledge to your right, going right, but
don't go all the way to the large set of stairs, yet, even if it looks safe:
there's a good chance Sylvester #1 or #2 will be coming on down right as you
get there. Knock him out with your boxing glove, finally climb the long set of
stairs, and get the final carrot, putting an end to this nightmare level once
and for all!
************
* STAGE 39 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: safe, boxing glove, potion
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 2. Pretty much a breeze, though Wile E. Coyote at the end can
present slight trouble.
Start the level by heading left, falling off the left edge of your platform,
and getting the potion. Then, immediately go right, and stand on the tiny
little pipe, but don't go down until you kill Sylvester #2, who will be coming
shortly. Once he's dead, go down the small pipe to kill Daffy Duck and
Sylvester #1. With three of the four enemies down, go right for a boxing glove
and a carrot, then go left for another carrot, and go down the large,
hook-shaped pipe. Upon exiting this pipe, go left for a third carrot. Then
head right.
You'll eventually get to a safe, and Wile E. Coyote right below you. If you
want, you can try to push the safe onto Wile E.'s head. It really isn't too
hard, but if you don't have much patience, it doesn't matter much, since you
have the boxing glove anyway. Once you've made your choice to bother with the
safe or not, go up the stairs to your right, getting a carrot along the way.
Fall off the right edge of the platform for another carrot. Wait at the left
edge of your current platform, but if Wile E. Coyote is still alive, don't fall
to his level until he goes off-screen--it won't take long. Then, shoot Wile E.
Coyote with your boxing glove, but remember that you'll have to take a step
forward before you can shoot it, thanks to the weird glitch. Continue left for
another carrot. Go up the pipe, then go left for the seventh carrot. Go up
the S-shaped pipe here for your final carrot--you'll actually get this carrot
before you're completely out of the pipe, so instead of the usual jumping jacks
victory dance Bugs does, he'll just be wiggling his ears with his head sticking
out the top of the pipe! Kinda' neat, really.
************
* STAGE 40 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, bucket, potion
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 1, almost a zero. This makes level 2 look tough in comparison!
You start on the very right side of a potion. Grab the potion, then fall down
to your right, where Yosemite Sam is, to kill him. Then fall off the left edge
to kill Sylvester #4. Then fall off the right edge, and go down the small pipe
to kill Wile E. Coyote. Then go down a pipe leading to the bottom of the level
to kill Daffy Duck.
Now, you're at the bottom of the level. I'm going to assume here that you
didn't get any carrots yet, even though there's a good chance you got one or
two while killing enemies. Either way, just follow here. On the bottom of the
level, get the one carrot. The bucket is useless. Go up either of the two
little pipes to get the carrot on the second floor. Go up either of the little
pipes on this floor to get the two carrots on the third floor, as well as bust
up a now-useless 10-ton weight. Go up either the pipe on the left or right
side of the level--doesn't matter--and get the carrot up here. Go up the next
pipe for the sixth carrot. Now fall down to the opposite side of the level to
get carrot #7, and up the pipe there for carrot #8. Someone shoot me now.
************
* STAGE 41 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, safe, bucket
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 7. The safe is the only weapon that's placed in a halfway decent
spot for use.
Start the level by going right. Go down the first passageway for a carrot,
then wait. Below you, you'll see Sylvester #2, but if you wait a few moments,
Sylvester #1 will come from the left side of the screen. These two will
playfully enter the passageway below you repeatedly, falling left and right
from the little platform down there, and repeat the process. When it looks
safe, hurry and fall to the left of your platform, and hurry left. To make
your life a little easier, go up the next passageway and push the safe onto one
of the two Sylvesters--if you're lucky, it'll be Sylvester #1, but you don't
really have much choice in the matter.
In either case, with one of the two grey-nosed Sylvesters dead, hurry left,
falling off the edge of your platform, to the very left side of the level for
the second carrot. Then--still moving fast--go back right, up the next
passageway. Go left up the next passageway--you can take a little more time
now if you like. Go right for another carrot, then up the next passageway.
Go left for the fourth carrot, then head right, kicking the horridly-placed
bucket off the edge, and fall down, then go left for the fifth carrot.
Now, fall off the right edge of this platform--Sylvester #1 or Sylvester #2,
whichever you didn't kill with the safe is most likely somewhere on the left
side of the level. Keep going right, and get the carrot on the bottom corner.
Then go up the passageway and get the carrot on that floor. Now, there's a
good chance that Sylvester #4 is right on top of one of these two carrots, and
he'll just keep running into the wall, not moving from his spot, so if this is
the case, you'll have to get that one later. Either way, continue up the three
passageways to the top floor, and get the carrot here--possibly your last. If
you had to pass up one of the two carrots below, you'll have to try to guide
Sylvester #4 away from it by moving around above him, attempting to control
him. When you can, go back down to get that final carrot!
************
* STAGE 42 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: boxing glove (2)
Level Type: brick, vertical
Difficulty: 4. It's not too hard as long as you're patient.
Start the level by going left, down the stairs, for a boxing glove and a
carrot. Go back up the stairs and wait by the passageway for Sylvester #1 to
come up, then knock him out with your glove. Continue right for a carrot, then
go up the passageway for another carrot. Go back down the passageway, and down
two more passageways for the fourth carrot.
Below, you may or may not see Yosemite Sam and you may or may not see
Sylvester #4. In either case--even if you don't see anyone--keep walking into
the wall on your left--this will make sure Sylvester #4 is far enough to the
left so he won't bother you. And if Yosemite is present, this will also force
him to go left, down the stairs that he can't climb back up. Once the enemies
are gone, drop down to your right. Go down the passageway here for another
carrot. Go back up, then head left. Go up the second staircase for a sixth
carrot. Go back down that staircase, then head left, down another set of
stairs for a boxing glove. Head down the next set of stairs for the seventh
carrot. Now, the eighth carrot is to your left, down the set of stairs, but
Wile E. Coyote and Yosemite Sam are down there guarding. Just wait on the
right side of your platform, and wait for it to become safe to head down to
that carrot. And if necessary, you've still got a boxing glove you can use on
one of them.
************
* STAGE 43 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Wile Coyote
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, boxing glove, potion
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 3
Now, the main point of interest is the potion, but Sylvester #4 will annoyingly
get in your way if you head straight for it, so start by hurrying left, down
the stairs. Head up the next passageway, and wait by the 10-ton weight for a
grey-nosed Sylvester to walk by. Push the safe onto him, and you'll notice
he's... still alive? Huh? Actually, it's two Sylvesters who happened to be in
exactly the same spot! Sylvester #1 and Sylvester #2, specifically, and it
will be Sylvester #2 who dies every single time. Either way, once Sylvester #2
is dead, and Sylvester #1 passes underneath to your left (he won't turn around
too quickly), fall off the left ledge, grab the boxing glove to your right, and
head down the stairs to your left. Go back right and grab the potion. First
make sure to kill Wile E. Coyote with your invincibility, who's down the next
passageway--don't worry about the carrot, your priority here should be to do
this as fast as possible to hopefully have time to kill all four enemies.
After he's dead, chase down the other three Sylvesters--Sylvester #3 is
probably around the bottom left of the level, Sylvester #4 somewhere on the
right, and Sylvester #1 hovering above you. If you don't have enough time to
kill all four with your invincibility, kill the last one with your boxing
glove.
OK, everyone dead? Good. Now, for easy reference, let's start back where you
started the level, at the top right of the level. Now here, I will assume that
you didn't get any carrots yet, even though you most likely got one or two
while chasing down the Sylvesters. OK, all that straightened out, go right,
down the passageway for a carrot. Head right, falling over the edge for
another carrot. Head left, falling off the ledge, and continue left, heading
up the next passageway. Continue left for carrot #3. Go down the next
passageway for carrot #4. Go back up this passageway, and head right, going up
the next passageway. Go back left, head up the passageway, and go a little to
the right for the fifth carrot. Head left, falling off the edge, and up the
stairs. Go down the next passageway for another carrot. Fall over the left
edge for the seventh carrot. Head right, falling off the ledge, and keep right
until you get the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 44 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: boxing glove (2), potion
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 3. The beginning is a little tough, but once Sylvester #2 is
dead, it's a breeze.
Start by heading left for a carrot. Then head for the tiny pipe on your right.
Go up the pipe as soon as Sylvester #1 starts heading down--you'll pass right
through, unharmed! Head left for another carrot, and when Sylvester #2 heads
right, go up the tiny pipe above you. Go left for a boxing glove and a carrot,
and shoot Sylvester #1 with the boxing glove. Go back right and get the carrot
over here. Now, if Sylvester #1 isn't following you yet, make sure he IS
following you before you proceed. When you can get him to chase you, go down
the long pipe on the right side of the level, then head left, getting another
carrot, but don't get the potion quite yet: make sure Sylvester #1 is chasing
you first. When he is, grab the potion, kill Sylvester, and head down the pipe
on your right, for a carrot and, if you head for the right, a boxing glove.
You'll kill Wile E. Coyote while you're at it.
Head back up the pipe on the left side of the level, then head back up the pipe
on the right side of the level. Go down the two tiny pipes. Below you will
see Daffy Duck. If it's safe, go down the left pipe, shoot him with the boxing
glove, and grab the carrot. If it's not safe, dance around a little to get him
away first. Then go back up the pipe, and head down the right pipe for the
final carrot.
************
* STAGE 45 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4
Weaponry: boxing glove (2), potion
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 3. Just move quickly at the beginning and it's not hard at all.
VERY QUICKLY when the stage starts, head right, falling over the edge for a
boxing glove. Climb the stairs for a second boxing glove. Head up the
passageway, then head left, and go up the stairs. Go up the next passageway
and head left for a carrot. Face the wall to your left, and once Sylvester #2
above goes off screen to the right, head up and grab the carrot above you. If
Sylvester #1 tries to attack while you're waiting, just shoot him with one of
your boxing gloves. Climb the stairs to your right, and continue right,
shooting Sylvester #2 with one of your boxing gloves. Grab the potion, then
HURRY down to the bottom of the level to kill Sylvester #3 and Sylvester #4.
Now, let's return to where you started the level to keep everyone in the same
place.
From where you started, head left for a carrot. Go down the passageway, then
head right, going down the stairs. Continue right, and fall off the ledge for
a carrot. Fall off the ledge to your left, then head up the passageway, and
continue left, falling over the edge for another carrot. Head right, falling
off the ledge, collecting another carrot. Head up the passageway, then climb
the stairs to your right and the next passageway. Climb the stairs to your
left, then up the next two passageways. Head right, up the stairs, for another
carrot. Head back left, down the stairs, and down the passageway. Then head
right, go down the passageway on the very right of the level, then head left,
off the edge, for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 46 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: crate, boxing glove, potion
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 2. The potion, which you can see from your starting point,
is easily accessible so long as you get there quickly.
Start the level by heading left for a carrot. Fall over the edge for a boxing
glove, then head right for another carrot. Go down the stairs, and wait for
Sylvester #2 to come from the left before getting the potion. Grab the potion,
then head left, killing Sylvester #2. Go up the stairs, continue left, and
keep going left. You'll eventually get a carrot. Keep going left, push over
the crate--it may or may not kill someone, but it doesn't matter--and fall off
the edge, killing Sylvester #4 and Wile E. Coyote, either from the crate or
crashing into them with your invincibility. Get the carrot down here.
Now, head up the pipe leading to the top of the level, then head right. Once
down the stairs, head left for a carrot. Go back right, and from hereon out,
if you see Sylvester #1 at any time, shoot him with your boxing glove.
Continue right for a carrot, then head up the tiny pipe. Fall right,
then continue right, falling over the right edge for another carrot.
Fall over the left edge for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 47 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, boxing glove (2)
Level Type: brick, vertical
Difficulty: 5. Sylvester #1 makes the level tougher than it would otherwise
be, especially since you really can't kill him.
Start the level by going left for a carrot. Go back to the right, and climb
the passageway for another carrot. Wait beside the 10-ton weight for the two
Sylvesters to come up, and when you can, smash Sylvester #2 with the 10-ton
weight (unfortunately, the more bothersome Sylvester #1 will refuse to walk
under the right spot). When it's safe, hurry off the right side of your
platform, and hurry down the passageway. Walk down the stairs, then head for
the center passageway leading down, getting the carrot and boxing glove there.
Now step to the left edge of your platform and wait: notice the jagged left
corner sticking out from the ceiling. When Yosemite Sam is about to walk
beneath that, throw your boxing glove to kill him. Then fall down there, and
head right down the slope for another carrot.
Now head back left, up the slope, and hurry down the passageway. As soon as
it's safe from Wile E. Coyote, head down the stairs, and go right for a boxing
glove and two carrots--be quick, since Sylvester #1 will soon be on your tail!
Head back left and shoot the coyote for another carrot. Then head back to the
right, and go up the stairs on the right side of the level for the final
carrot.
************
* STAGE 48 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 6. This level will require a lot of finesse on your part, but
you've seen tougher.
AS SOON AS THE LEVEL STARTS, HURRY to the left for a carrot. Then IMMEDIATELY
turn back right, grab the boxing glove, go down the passageway, grab the
carrot, and head down the passageway. If you can do this in one swift
movement, not taking even a half-second break, then you'll be going down that
passageway at the same moment Sylvester #2 climbs up, passing harmlessly
through one another, and you'll not have to worry about him anymore!
OK, now you can take things a bit more slowly. Get the carrot next to Bugs,
then go down the passageway on your left. Head up the staircase to your left,
and go up the passageway for your fourth carrot. Head back down the passageway
and down the stairs--if you see Sylvester #1, kill him, but leave Sylvester #4
alone. Go down the slope to your left for a fifth carrot.
Now, return to the little room where the fourth carrot was, and keep running
into the right wall. After several seconds, start running into the left wall.
Then the right wall. Then the left. And... you get the idea. Anyway, keep
doing this until you see Sylvester #4 climb up to the level right below you:
this will keep him out of your hair as you complete the level.
Now, go back down the passageway and stairs, and head down the passageway to
your right. Go down the stairs to your left, then head right for a sixth
carrot. Go down the passageway, and head left, pushing the 10-ton weight as
you go, for your seventh carrot. Try to kill Wile E. Coyote with the 10-ton
weight. If you succeed, the eighth carrot is on the bottom floor. If you
miss, though, then, when Wile E. starts walking to the left after going right,
then hurry to the right, falling off the right edge of your platform, then
going left for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 49 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #4, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, safe, bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 2. Sylvester #1's starting spot puts you at a definite advantage,
and Sylvester #4 is, as usual, a push over.
Start by going left, pushing the 10-ton weight next to the passageway: when
Sylvester #1 comes up, smash him with it! Go down this passageway after
getting the first carrot, then go left, climbing a small set of stairs for
carrot #2. Head back right, going back up the passageway, and keep going
right, getting a carrot along the way, until you get to the passageway next to
the dead end: go down this one, then go right, up another small set of stairs
for the second carrot--if Sylvester #4 is next too this carrot, don't worry, as
he won't bother to turn around to kill you. Go back left, and fall over the
edge for the fifth carrot.
Fall to the left of this small platform, and keep going left, and up the stairs
for the sixth carrot. Kill Daffy with the bucket here if you can get a good
shot: he will frequently be standing still right below it! After you do or
don't kill Daffy, go up the passageway to your right, then go left for a boxing
glove. Fall off the left edge here, then continue left, going up either the
stairs or the passageway for the next carrot. Then, go down the stairs and
continue going right, shooting Daffy with the boxing glove if he's still alive.
Go to the right, and at the very right side of the level is the final carrot.
If Sylvester #4 is right on top of it, either shoot him with the boxing glove
if you have it, or try dragging him away from the carrot otherwise, then snatch
it!
************
* STAGE 50 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: safe, bucket, boxing glove (2)
Level Type: brick, horizontal
Difficulty: 3
Don't move until the enemies start up: as soon as they do, immediately fall
off the left edge of your platform, then move right to push the safe into Wile
E. Coyote. Go up the passageway to your right for a carrot. Go up the stairs
here, then go left for another carrot. Continue going left until you hit a
wall: then, wait for Yosemite Sam and Sylvester #2 to start hovering above
you, though you should also run into the wall a little bit to get Sylvester #4
farther to the left. When Yosemite and Sylvester #2 start heading left, and
Sylvester #4 is off-screen to your left, then head right, going up the second
passageway, then continuing right, getting a boxing glove, then falling over
the ledge. Continue right for another boxing glove and a carrot, then go down
the passageway for another carrot. Go back up the passageway, facing to the
left, so you can shoot Yosemite Sam and Sylvester #2 with your two boxing
gloves: it won't take too long for them to come.
Go back up the passageway, then fall to the left. Continue left, climbing the
stairs, and go up either of the two passageways ahead. Continue left for a
carrot. Sylvester #4 will most likely be harmlessly running into the wall on
the left side of the level, but in case he's not, go back to the wall you were
at while waiting for Yosemite Sam and Sylvester #2 to gather, and keep running
left, into the wall. Either way, go down the passageway at the very left of
the level, then go down the next passageway for a carrot. Fall over the left
edge, kick the bucket, and go right for the last two carrots, one up the
stairs, one not. Or, optionally, you can try to kill Sylvester #4 with the
bucket before collecting both carrots. It's actually not as difficult as it is
in a lot of levels, and fairly safe too, but you'll need a lot of patience
trying to lead him down there.
************
* STAGE 51 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Wile Coyote
Weaponry: crate, potion
Level Type: brick, vertical
Difficulty: 5. Fairy tough for a potion level, as you have to be pretty exact
in your moves.
Start the level immediately by going right, up the passageway: make sure
Sylvester #4, who starts on your level, also goes right. When he does, grab
the potion, and wait on the top of the passageway to immediately kill him.
Then hurry left, up the next passageway, to kill Sylvester #1. Then hurry
right, up the next passageway, to kill Sylvester #2, but if he's on the floor
above, don't chase him down: instead, wait for him to come to you: it saves a
lot of time, which you need. Once Sylvester #2 is dead, hurry left, falling
down from the left side of a couple of ledges, to kill Sylvester #3.
Now you can breathe a little bit. Get the carrot here, then go down the
passageway for another carrot. Fall over the left edge for a third, and wait
by the wall on the left side of the level for Wile E. Coyote to run away.
When he goes off-screen, fall over the right edge and hurry to the right to
kick the crate into him! Continue right, and go up the stairs for another
carrot. Go up the passageway, then head right, up another passageway. Go left
for another carrot. Head up this passageway, then go right, up a slope, then
up another passageway. Go left, falling over the first ledge, but not the
second. Go right for a carrot , then fall off the right edge. Continue right,
going back up the slope, then up the passageway. Go left, and up the
passageway. Continue left for another carrot, and keep going left, falling
over the edge, then down the passageway for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 52 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #3, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: crate, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 3. Oddly enough, Sylvester #1 seems to have trouble keeping up
with you in this level.
Start by heading up the passageway to your left, then get the carrot to your
right. Wait at the base of the passageway to the left of that carrot for Wile
E. Coyote to start heading left: when he does, hurry up, and knock the crate
into him. Continue left for another carrot, then head right, falling over the
eventual right edge of your platform, to get a third carrot. When it's safe--
probably is right now--fall over the left edge, then go right for a boxing
glove and another carrot. Head left, shooting either Sylvester #1 or
Sylvester #3 with your boxing glove (Sylvester #3 being more likely) if they
give you trouble, eventually getting a fifth carrot. Head up the passageway
here, then go left, falling over the left edge. Continue left for another
carrot, then head up the passageway for the seventh carrot. Go right, up the
next passageway, then go left for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 53 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #3, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: safe, crate, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 3. The level is beyond simple so long as you save a very specific
carrot for last.
Remember Yosemite Sam in Stage 29? How, depending on whether he started by
going left or right, would create two very different scenarios? Similar thing
in this level with Sylvester #3: if he starts by going left, he'll be free to
roam the whole level. But if he starts by going right, he'll be trapped in a
little room, guarding a useful passageway, preventing you from using it.
Despite that, you want him to go right: he'll go right so long as you DON'T
move left, so don't go left at the beginning of the level.
Start the level by going right, and up the passageway, then the slope for a
carrot. Go up the passageway here, then head right for the second carrot:
you'll see Sylvester #3 trapped in a small ditch to your right: he cannot
escape, and we don't want to go here anyway. Head back left, but don't fall
over the edge yet: instead, wait for Sylvester #1 to climb the passageway on
the bottom of the level: this will make things a lot easier on your part.
Once Sylvester #1 climbs up, fall over the edge and get the carrot. Go down
the passageway for another carrot, then return back up the passageway,
continuing left for a boxing glove. Continue left, falling off another small
ledge, for another carrot.
Climb up the next passageway, and head left for the sixth carrot. Fall over
the left edge for the seventh carrot. Wait at the right edge of the platform
you're on--for a rare change of pace, you don't want to force the enemies to
run away by staring at the left wall. Watch Wile E. Coyote and Yosemite Sam
below: when they start walking left beneath you, hurry and fall to the right,
then hurry right--if you wish, you can easily kill one of them with the safe,
but it won't make the rest of the level any easier. Continue right, and kill
Sylvester #1 when you see him. Go up the passageway that's next to the crate.
If you like, kill Yosemite Sam or Wile E. Coyote with the crate--it doesn't
matter, but it's extremely easy, and it's just plain fun watching them wiggling
in agony! Head left for the final carrot, and you won't have even had to worry
about that passageway Sylvester #3 was guarding!
************
* STAGE 54 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: crate, boxing glove (3)
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 4. It's not too bad, but you have to be very fast throughout, at
least until everyone is dead.
IMMEDIATELY start heading right, going up the passageway, knocking the crate
over the ledge, getting the carrot, and falling over the ledge yourself. If
you did this quickly, the crate will kill Daffy, and you'll land on his corpse!
Just be sure you ARE quick, since Sylvester #1 will start relentlessly chasing
you here. Head left for a boxing glove, and shoot Sylvester #4, straight
ahead, with it. Get the carrot on the left side of the level, then go up the
passageway for another boxing glove. Go back down the passageway, making sure
Bugs is facing right, then slam Sylvester #1 with the boxing glove when he
climbs up the tiny slope.
Now QUICKLY climb back up the passageway before Sylvester #2 arrives. Climb
the stairs to your right, then go down the passageway for another carrot.
Climb back up the passageway, and then climb the next passageway to your right.
Go left, up the slope, for a rare third boxing glove: use this on Sylvester #2
whenever you find him--there's a good chance he's trailing you right now.
After you get the boxing glove, or kill Sylvester with it, head up the
passageway to your right. Continue right, up the next passageway, collecting
another carrot along the way. Go up the passageway to your left for another
carrot. Go back down the passageway, then go right, and up the next passageway
for another carrot. Fall over the right edge for the seventh carrot. Fall
over the left edge, then head down the passageway to your left, then fall over
the right edge for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 55 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, bucket (2), boxing glove
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 2
Like Level 15, the "vertical" aspect of this level is minimal, making the room
particularly small. Unlike Level 15, though, this level, like most other
vertical levels, has a slight horizontal aspect to go with it, making it a
little bigger. Like 15, though, this, too, is a very easy level, even if not
AS easy.
Start the level by going down the passageway to your right for a carrot. Head
back up the passageway, then go left for the boxing glove. Go up the
passageway here for a second carrot. Head for the bucket, but don't kick it
immediately: wait for Sylvester #2, trapped similarly to how Sylvester #3 was
in Level 53. Kick the bucket once Sylvester #2 reaches the left wall to kill
him, then go down there for the third carrot. Head down the passageway for the
fourth carrot. Fall over the left edge, then go right for the fifth carrot.
Head down the passageway for the sixth carrot. Fall over the left edge, either
kicking the bucket into Daffy Duck (you'll usually be able to), or if you can't
do that, shooting him with your boxing glove. Head left for the seventh
carrot, and up the passageway for the eighth. Oh, and Sylvester #4? Who you
likely never came anywhere near? Even less trouble than usual here.
************
* STAGE 56 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: safe, boxing glove (3)
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 3
Head right, down the stairs, for a carrot. Head back up the stairs, and
continue left, and wait at the base of the stairs for Sylvester #1, who you can
see above you, to head down the stairs on his left--don't worry, he won't come
after you. When he's down at the bottom of the level, head up the stairs to
your left for another carrot. Go up the stairs to your right for a third
carrot. Head up the stairs to your left for a boxing glove. Head up the
stairs to your left here for another boxing glove and another carrot--if
Sylvester #4 is standing where the carrot is, knock him out with one of your
boxing gloves. Head back down the stairs, and climb the stairs on the right
for another carrot.
Head back down the stairs, and continue left, falling over the edge of your
platform, for another carrot. Fall over the right edge of this platform for
another boxing glove, but wait here: Sylvester #1 may start climbing the
stairs near your platform (he's the only grey-nosed Sylvester in the level)--
if he does, shoot him with one of your boxing gloves, then fall over the left
edge of your platform for a seventh carrot. Hit one of the enemies with the
safe--if none are around, keep running into the wall to your left to bring them
over. Once you kill someone with the safe, fall to the bottom floor, and kill
any remaining enemies with your remaining boxing gloves, then head right for
the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 57 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #3, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, boxing glove (2)
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 3. Just make sure to do the level bottom-to-top, though Sylvester
may present some minor difficulty.
Fall over the left ledge for a carrot. When Wile E. Coyote starts heading
right on the bottom floor, fall over the right edge of your platform and kick
the 10-ton weight into him. Continue right, going up the stairs on the right
side for another carrot. Go back down the stairs, then go up the stairs on the
left for a third carrot. Go up the passageway for a fourth carrot. Run into
the left wall, and keep doing so until Yosemite Sam and Daffy Duck fall to the
bottom of the level, never to bother you again. Once they do, go right for a
boxing glove, then up the passageway for a second--not that you'll need both,
but use one of them on Sylvester #3 when you see him.
Head up the large staircase above you, but don't go up the second staircase
yet. First, go right, and down the passageway for another carrot. Head back
up the passageway, and up the set of stairs near the top of the large
staircase. Go up the next set of stairs, and down the next passageway for
another carrot. Head back up the passageway, and fall over the left edge of
the weird box you're on, and then head down that passageway for carrot #7.
Fall over the right edge, and you'll land in the middle of the large staircase.
Go down the short distance, then head right, down another staircase, and into a
small gap on the right side of the level for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 58 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: crate, bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 4. Somewhat tricky, especially Sylvester #3, as Sylvester #1 is
very easy to kill.
Start by going up the passageway to your right, then up the passageway to your
left. Wait here a few moments until Sylvester #1 arrives, then head to the
right, going up the passageway next to the crate. Get the carrot up here, and
kill Sylvester #1 with the crate when he walks by. Go back down the
passageway, and fall off the right edge for another carrot. Fall over the left
edge, kicking the bucket, and most likely Wile E. Coyote kicking the bucket in
the process--don't worry if it looks like you'll hit the coyote, you'll kill
him before he kills you! Head back up the two passageways on your left.
Go up the passageway to your right to get a carrot, but watch out for Sylvester
#3, who may be pacing around: just try to avoid him, but don't worry too much,
as he does not actively chase you like his lighter-nosed brethren. Fall over
the left edge, then up the next passageway. Head up the stairs to your right
for a boxing glove. Who to use this on? Depends. If Sylvester #3 is still in
the top half of the level, shoot him with it. If, however, Sylvester #3 has
found his way to the bottom of the level, then use it on Sylvester #4 instead.
Essentially, use it on whoever will give you more trouble!
Head up the passageway to your right, then up the passageway to your left.
Go up all three passageways up here for carrots, then head back down. After
this, there are only two carrots remaining: one you'll get by falling over the
left edge of your platform, and the other by falling right. Get the right one
first, since if you get the one of the left first, you'll have to do a
potentially dangerous drop in a spot Sylvester #3 often hangs out. After
getting the one on the right, climb back up the two passageways, then fall over
the left edge for that final carrot!
************
* STAGE 59 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: safe, bucket, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 5. It'll take a bit of finangling to work your way around
Sylvester #3.
Quickly head left for a carrot, then hurry down the passageway and fall down
the left gap for another carrot. Watch below for Yosemite Sam: when he gets
close, fall over the right edge to kick the bucket into him! Climb up the
stairs to your right for a carrot, and fall over the right edge, pushing a safe
into oblivion. Head left for a carrot, and when it's safe, fall over the edge.
If you can see Sylvester #3 on-screen--you probably can--head down the large
set of stairs to your right and get the carrot (if you don't see him, dance
around a bit until you can). Head left for a boxing glove. Go up the
passageway for a carrot. Keep running into the wall on the left to get
Sylvester #3 away if he's on the floor above you, and then sneak up the
passageway to get the carrot above you--as usual, if Sylvester #4 is safely
tucked against the wall next to this carrot, you have nothing to fear from him.
Head up the passageway to your right when Sylvester #3 falls off that
platform--it shouldn't take long. Head up the stairs above you, and up the
passageway up here.
Go to the start of the passageway on your left, but don't go up yet: watch as
Sylvester #2 above starts walking back and forth in his little room. First,
adjust Bugs so that he is facing right. Then, as Sylvester gets into his
pattern, wait for him to walk to the right side of the other end of the
passageway, then hurry up and shoot him with your boxing glove! Go straight
right for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 60 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: safe, crate, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 5
AS SOON AS the level starts, QUICKLY hurry to the right and knock the safe into
Daffy Duck, but DO NOT get the carrot yet--you have just enough time to kill
Daffy to hurry back to the left before Sylvester #1 traps you. Hurry left, and
go up the stairs on the left side of the passageway, then go up said
passageway: for some reason, it's very rare for either Sylvester to climb up
this passageway. Go right for a boxing glove, then up the passageway on the
right for a carrot. Fall from the left edge, and go left. Go up the next
passageway for another carrot. Fall off the left edge, and continue left,
going down the next passageway for another carrot. Go back up the passageway,
then go left, up the next passageway for yet another carrot.
Now wait at the left edge of this platform: you'll see the two Sylvesters and
Yosemite Sam below. When it's safe--all three are going to the right, then
hurry and fall to the bottom, grab the carrot to the left, then hurry up the
passageway. Go up the stairs to your left, then up the next passageway. Go
left, falling off a small ledge, then down the passageway for another carrot.
Stand next to the left wall so all three enemies start running away. Once
they're all off-screen, fall off the right edge and hurry to the right, kicking
the crate as you go: you will probably wind up killing one of the two
Sylvesters with this. As you continue to the right, climb the stairs you
eventually come across, and go up the passageway. Go right, falling into the
small gap for a carrot. When it's safe, drop down to the bottom floor and get
the final carrot, which you skipped earlier when killing Daffy. Keep in mind
that you've still got a boxing glove, so if only one enemy is in your way, then
just shoot him to get to that carrot!
************
* STAGE 61 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: safe, crate, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 4. For most of the level, Sylvester #1 will be your only concern,
but he can be tough.
If, for some reason you wish, you can easily kill Wile E. Coyote and Daffy
Duck, both below where you start, with the safe and crate. Having said that,
there's absolutely nothing down there, and you may feel it better to just
forget about it. Either way, after you either kill or ignore them, head up the
left set of stairs (like in Level 35, it's the stairs usually reserved for
brick levels) for a carrot. Go back down the stairs, then climb the right set
of stairs for another carrot. If Sylvester #1 is coming, then time it so that
you are going up the passageway as he is coming down, but be quick about it!
Get the carrot to your left, then head up the stairs on your right for a fourth
carrot.
Head up the passageway, then go left for the boxing glove and another carrot.
Go down the next passageway on the left for the sixth carrot. Go back up the
passageway, then up either of the next two passageways for the seventh carrot.
Now, above you are Sylvester #2 and Sylvester #4. Run into the wall to your
right to draw Sylvester #4 to the right side of his floor, then hurry up and
head up the passageway to the top floor, kill Sylvester #2 with your boxing
glove, and head left for the final carrot. And be fast, because you've only
got a few seconds before Sylvester #1 finds his way up to where you are!
************
* STAGE 62 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: boxing glove, potion
Level Type: stone, vertical
Difficulty: 4. There's a potion, but it's not easy to get to. Make sure you
kill Sylvester #1 early with that boxing glove!
Hurry left, up a slope, for a boxing glove and a carrot, then hurry back down
the slope: when Sylvester #1 comes on down, shoot him with your boxing glove.
Head back left, up the slope, and up the passageway. Go up the next three
passageways, and get the two carrots slightly out of the way. Fall off the
right edge for another carrot. Keep running into the right wall to force any
enemies on the top floor to fall through the gap on the right side of the
level, then go down the "big step" stairway on your left, then up the four
passageways. Get the carrot.
Go right, down the gap the enemies fell through earlier, for a potion. Fall
down a few ledges on the left for a couple of carrots, kill any enemies who
bother you with your invincibility, then go down one of the two passageways on
the bottom, and head left, up a slope, for the final carrot. If you like, you
can try to chase down a few enemies not in your way to kill too, just for fun.
************
* STAGE 63 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: safe, boxing glove
Level Type: stone, horizontal
Difficulty: 8. The walkthrough makes this sound easier than it is, really.
As the level begins, head right, falling off a ledge, and down the second
passageway you come across. Push the safe to the left, and eventually onto
Wile E. Coyote's head, getting a carrot along the way. Fall off the left edge
and go right for a carrot, then go left for a carrot, then going up the stairs.
Then go right for another carrot. Go up the passageway and go left, killing
Yosemite Sam. Now, take note of where Sylvester #4 is. If you can see him on
the second floor, between the two passageways, then make SURE you guide him to
the passageway on the RIGHT.
Got that? Good. Go up the passageway for a carrot, then head back down the
passageway, and go left for another carrot. Head to the right, and go up the
second passageway for another carrot, then head back down the passageway. Go
right, down the next passageway. Daffy Duck is guarding the final carrot, on
the very right end of the first floor. Keep in mind that Daffy can be
controlled much like Sylvester #4, except that Daffy isn't stupid enough to
continually run into a wall without turning around. Get Daffy away from the
carrot, then sneak up the right passageway and grab that final carrot!
************
* STAGE 64 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #3, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: safe, bucket, potion
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 1. That's the last time you'll see a level this easy, so enjoy
this one for what it's worth!
The first pipe level since 46... just switch the numbers around for 64!
Anyway, I hope you like pipe levels, because all of the final seventeen levels
are pipe levels, most of them exceptionally difficult! Don't worry quite yet,
though, because at least this one is easy.
Anyway, start the level by falling to the left, continuously holding left,
pushing the safe into Daffy Duck. As Yosemite Sam runs away, go up the second
pipe to your left for a carrot. Fall to the right for a potion. Fall down to
the ground to kill Yosemite Sam, then head right, going up the pipe to get over
the large wall in the middle of the level. Fall to the right, then kill
Sylvester and Wile E. Coyote over here--one with your invincibility, and the
other with a semi-useless bucket. Then, from right to left, go up all the
pipes, and fall to the left of each one, to get the seven remaining carrots.
You didn't really need the walkthrough for this one, did you?
************
* STAGE 65 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam, Wile Coyote
Weaponry: potion (2)
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 7. You get two potions, but it's very easy to get lost in the
huge maze, and if you don't kill all the enemies in time with the potions--
namely, if you get lost while hunting them down while invincible--then you're
in trouble!
Hurry down the first pipe for a potion--you'll collect it before you exit the
pipe, and kill Yosemite Sam the instant you do. Hurry back up the pipe, then
go right, down the longer pipe. Kill Wile E. Coyote and collect the carrot.
Go up the second pipe to your left--the shorter pipe--and head right to kill
Sylvester #4 before your potion wears off.
Head right, going down the second pipe for a carrot. Wait at the right edge of
this room, standing beneath the shorter of two pipes--if you're lucky, and more
often than not, you will be, Sylvester #1 will be in the room to your right.
If you're not lucky, he'll be right above you, putting you in extreme danger.
Should the latter be the case, you'll have to hurry up the pipe and hurry to
get the potion, hoping Sylvester #2 is out of the way, and if not, going back
and forth through that pipe until you can get it safely, hopefully not dying in
the process.
However, if Sylvester IS in the room to your right, which he is more often than
not, then you can take things at a leisurely pace. Head up the pipe when
Sylvester #2, two floors above you, starts heading right. Grab the potion,
then kill both Sylvesters--not that Sylvester #2 was guarding anything besides
the potion, but it makes things so much easier with Sylvester #1 out of the
way. Head back down the pipe on the left, then go left two steps, up the long
curvy pipe for a carrot. Then go down the pipe on the right for another
carrot. Then go back up the pipe, then back down the long, curvy pipe.
Now, from the bottom floor, go left, up the left-most pipe. Then go left one
step, and down the backward-J-shaped pipe for another carrot. Go back down
this pipe after getting the carrot. Go as far left as you can, then go down
the small pipe for another carrot. Go back up this pipe, then up the 7-shaped
pipe right above you. Go left for another carrot, then up the left-most pipe
on your floor for the final carrot! And I apologize for the directions, which
will almost assuredly confuse you, but there's only so much text can do!
************
* STAGE 66 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: potion
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 7. A big maze like Level 65, but not as confusing a layout.
Still, Yosemite Sam can be a nightmare.
Continue to the right for a carrot, then wait atop the pipe before falling down
the gap on the right. When you see Sylvester come from the left, or if he's
already on the floor below you, then hurry down the pipe for the potion, then
kill Sylvester. Fall through the gap on your right if you haven't yet, then
hurry left, down the small pipe, to kill Wile E. Coyote and get the carrot.
Go right, hurrying up the longer pipe on the right, then hurry down the pipe to
the left of this one to kill Daffy Duck, and getting the carrot here.
Now, go back up the smaller pipe on the left, and go left a little for the
fourth carrot. Head right for the fifth carrot, then go down the small pipe to
the right of where that carrot was for another carrot. Head up the longer pipe
on the right, then down the smaller pipe to the right of there to get down to
the second floor. Head left for the seventh carrot, then up the small pipe
right after that.
Now, stand on top of the really curvy pipe that leads to Yosemite Sam's room:
unfortunately, you're going to have to rely on a little luck here, but to help
you out, go down the pipe when Yosemite Sam is walking to the left, and
directly underneath where you'll eventually come out: you will usually make it
just fine, and be able to grab that final carrot. If not, it's just bad, bad
luck. Not a whole lot you can do about it, either.
************
* STAGE 67 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4
Weaponry: boxing glove (2)
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 5. The level can be very difficult if Sylvester #2 and Sylvester
#4 trap themselves at the top of the level instead of the small room in the
middle, but if you follow my directions below, they'll head for exactly where
we want them!
AS SOON AS the level starts, HURRY to the right for a carrot, then HURRY to the
left, falling down the gap, to get the second carrot, then HURRY down the pipe
to your right. Do this VERY QUICKLY, else Sylvester #1 will kill you. Once
down here, get the carrot on the left, then go right, and up the pipe there.
Go right for a carrot, and go down the long pipe to the right of that. Go left
for a boxing glove, and if you see Sylvester #1 around--and you probably will--
shoot him with the boxing glove. Head up the pipe on the left for a carrot,
then head back down. Head back to the right, then up the long pipe to the
right. Go up the next pipe to the right, then head left for two carrots and a
boxing glove. Go down the pipe on the left for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 68 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Wile Coyote
Weaponry: safe, crate, bucket, potion
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 2. Just get the potion at the start of the level, and you know
what to do.
Go up the pipe at the beginning of the level, but be sure to hold down the
right control button, to make sure Sylvester #4 gets out of the way so you can
get a carrot and, more importantly, the potion! As soon as you get the potion,
kill the two Sylvesters up here, then hurry down to the bottom of the level to
kill the other two Sylvesters and Wile E. Coyote!
From the bottom-right of the level, where you probably are after having killed
all the enemies, go up the pipe on the right side of the level for a carrot.
Then go back down the pipe and head left for another carrot. Go up the tiny
pipe here for another carrot, then fall over the left edge, destroying the
now-useless bucket. Go up the pipe here for another carrot. Climb either the
stairs or the tiny pipe, then up the next set of stairs for another carrot.
Continue right for another carrot, then head up the pipe, and go left for the
final carrot.
************
* STAGE 69 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: safe, boxing glove
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 6
Start the level by going straight down the pipe you start on for a carrot, then
quickly kick the safe into Yosemite Sam. Then go up the pipe on the very left
side of the level for another carrot. Fall down the "staircase of pipes" to
get to a two more carrots, but do watch out for Sylvester #3, who may be
hanging around. Don't fall from the final pipe until it's safe from Sylvester
#3, Daffy Duck, and Wile E. Coyote: if necessary, fall to the left, so you can
dance on the "floor of pipes" there to get Daffy Duck away. When you can, fall
to the right, then hurry up the pipe on the right side of the level. Get the
carrot here.
Go up the pipe on the very right side for another carrot, then descend the
small "staircase of pipes" here for another carrot, then go up the tiny pipe
here for the final carrot, not even allowing you access to the boxing glove.
That was really an awful spot for that boxing glove, now wasn't it?
************
* STAGE 70 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: safe, potion
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 2. This number's going to take a sharp turn upward after this,
though: this is sadly the last potion level in the game.
Start the level by going right, up the slope. Then go left, up the stairs, and
up the pipe, but don't grab the potion quite yet: instead, wait for Sylvester
#1 and Sylvester #2 to enter the screen, THEN grab the potion to kill them
quickly, as well as Daffy Duck, and then head to the bottom of the level to
kill Sylvester #4 and Wile E. Coyote--if you miss Wile E. Coyote, or you aren't
sure you'll get to him in time, though, you can kill him with the safe instead.
All that over with, go to the bottom of the level for a carrot. Then go up the
long pipe on the left for a second carrot. Fall to the left or right each time
for carrots. When finished, go back up that long pipe, and fall the other way
each time for the rest of the carrots. It's that easy!
************
* STAGE 71 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: boxing glove (3)
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 7. Even with a plethora of boxing gloves, it's still tough.
As tempting as it may be to start the level by going up the pipe, don't, else
Sylvester #2 will immediately kill you on the other end. As Yosemite Sam it to
your right, you have little choice but to start by going left. Get the carrot,
then quickly head up the next staircase on the left side of the level, as
Sylvester #3 is headed straight for you! When Sylvester #3 goes down the
stairs, hurry to the right for the boxing glove, then hurry down the next set
of stairs for another carrot. Immediately head back up the stairs, then the
next set of stairs for another carrot, and shoot anyone who gets in your way
with your boxing glove. head to the left, down a staircase, for another
carrot. Then head back up that staircase, and the staircase on the left side
for another carrot. Then head back down that staircase and up the next one for
carrot #6.
Climb up the next two staircases on the right side of the level, but don't
climb the next, or get the carrot yet, until it's safe: shoot either Sylvester
#1 or Sylvester #4 with your boxing glove--we're hoping you still have at least
one--then hurry and get the carrot, then hurry up the stairs for the third
boxing glove, shoot any Sylvester between you and the final carrot, and then
grab that last carrot!
************
* STAGE 72 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: bucket, boxing glove (2)
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 10! The right side of the level isn't too bad, but the left
side... would it be funny if I said "it's a killer!"? No, didn't think so.
Start the level by heading right, getting a carrot, and going up the pipe on
the right side of the level. Carefully head right, and kick the bucket into
either Sylvester #3 or Sylvester #4 up here, preferably Sylvester #3, but you
don't really have much say in the matter. Get the next carrot, then head down
the pipe, getting another carrot while in the pipe. Go back up the pipe on the
right side of the level, then fall to the left, continuing left for a carrot,
then falling over the left edge of your platform for another carrot, then hurry
back right: we want to delay Sylvester #1 going over to the left side of the
level for as long as possible! Now, keep going right, until you see a funny
horseshoe-shaped pipe: go up this one, which will take you to the left side of
the level, and Sylvester #1 won't be long before he comes over.
When you exit the pipe, get the carrot. Now, you'll notice Sylvester #2, and
very likely, Sylvester #1 playing below: Sylvester #3 could be there too if
you didn't get lucky with the bucket. Also, notice that for whatever reason,
all Sylvesters down there will absolutely refuse to climb the second staircase,
so they're permanently trapped on the left side of the level. So what to do?
When it's safe... at least relatively safe, you'll have to make a plunge down
there. If you survive, you get a boxing glove: use this on Sylvester #1 or
Sylvester #2. Continue right for the seventh carrot and another boxing glove:
use this one the grey-nosed Sylvester who is still alive.
Now, the strategy here will depend on whether or not Sylvester #3 is hanging
out with Yosemite Sam, or if Yosemite Sam is alone. Either one is difficult,
but one is obviously a lot more difficult, so I'll go over both strategies to
improve your odds of survival:
If Sylvester #3 is DEAD, or if, by amazing luck, he's still hanging around on
the right side of the level, then try to note Yosemite Sam's movement patterns
below: try to get him as far to the right as possible while you're as far to
the left as possible. Then, as soon as he starts heading to the right, VERY
QUICKLY hurry down the stairs on the left, then go right for the final carrot.
If you're lucky, you'll live.
If he's ALIVE, and hanging around the area, then you'll have to do the same,
but from the third floor, meaning it'll take a lot longer to get to the carrot,
giving Yosemite Sam a lot more time to get to you to kill you. That, and you
still have to worry about Sylvester #3, who could also kill you, even if you'd
have otherwise made it to the carrot in time: if possible, try to finangle
Sylvester #3 onto the second floor, dancing around a bit or whatnot.
************
* STAGE 73 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, safe, boxing glove
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 6
Start by heading right, falling off the ledge, then fall right again, then fall
left, get the carrot, then fall right. Knock the 10-ton weight onto someone's
head: Yosemite Sam is usually the easiest, but take whoever you can get. Now,
fall down to the bottom, making sure it's safe, and go up the tall pipe--just
make sure you hit LEFT on the control pad, else Sylvester #4 will likely be
standing calmly atop the pipe as you get out! Go left for the second carrot,
then fall off two ledges to the left for the third carrot. Fall to the right,
then fall to the left, and go down the pipe here.
As you exit the pipe, you'll automatically get two carrots and a boxing glove.
Go up the pipe on your left for a sixth carrot. Go back down the pipe, then
down the next pipe. Fall off the edge to the right for the seventh carrot.
Fall off the edge to your left when it's safe, keeping in mind that it's OK to
use your boxing glove. Hurry up the tall pipe, then fall to the left, then
fall to the right for the final carrot!
************
* STAGE 74 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, safe
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 7
Start by falling to the left, getting a carrot: don't be too fast, as
Sylvester #4 is down there, but if you wait half a second, he'll start to move
shortly after you do, going up the pipe on the left. Drag him to the right
side of his little room above before going up the pipe yourself, getting the
second carrot. Go back down the pipe on the left, then go down the pipe here,
holding RIGHT on the control pad: this will help draw Wile E. Coyote and Daffy
Duck away when you come out from the other end--if it looks like they'll hit
you, let go of the control pad and they should retreat. Go up the fourth pipe
from the left for another carrot, then fall to the left. Knock the 10-ton
weight on Wile E. Coyote, then grab the carrot, fall to the right, and go up
the second pipe. Fall to the right, and keep running into the wall until Daffy
runs off-screen, then go to the safe: when Daffy comes back, knock it on his
head, then grab the carrot and fall off to the left.
Now it gets easier: go up the second pipe from the left for a carrot, then
fall to the bottom of the level. Go up the fifth pipe from the right for a
carrot, then go back down the pipe. Then finally, go up the third pipe from
the left for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 75 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: boxing glove (2)
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 9
All right, now here's another tough one. Now, Sylvester #2 starts on the left
side of the level. You don't want him to move on to the right side of the
level until you get the boxing glove on the left side, because that makes
everything almost impossible, as if it weren't hard enough. Got it? Good.
Now, start the level by going up the pipe leading to the boxing glove. Then
fall to the left, getting a carrot along the way, and fall to the left of the
next platform, too. Hurry up the stairs on the left, and then go up the pipe.
This will lead to the other side of the level: if you're unlucky, Sylvester #1
will kill you immediately upon your exit. Usually, though, he won't, and
you'll have to wait and kill him. Sometimes, he'll enter the pipe right when
you're coming out, passing safely through him--don't count on that, though, but
it does happen. This also causes trouble later in the level, so don't count it
as "good fortune," either. Either way, assuming you live, and assuming
Sylvester didn't go in the pipe, wait for him to come to you, then smash him
with your boxing glove. After that, wait for Wile E. Coyote below to start
heading right, then hurry down the stairs. Go left, getting a carrot along the
way, and go up the pipe near the wall in the middle of the level.
Get the carrot and boxing glove on the right, then down the tiny pipe to
another carrot. Go down to the bottom floor and knock Wile E. Coyote out with
your boxing glove, and then head right for another carrot. Sylvester #1 is
probably around by now, so wait for him to start heading left, after he
finishes climbing down the staircase, before heading back up the stairs
yourself--he can't kill you so long as you're underneath the stairs, keep in
mind. When it's safe, head up the stairs, then down the pipe. If Sylvester #1
happens to be over here, there's a chance he'll kill you as soon as you exit
the pipe, again. Waiting may not be an option, either, since he also may have
gotten himself "stuck" by the wall in the middle of the level, so wait a
little, but if he doesn't come, then you'll have to go down the stairs, being
very careful of maneuvering around Daffy Duck. Go up the pipe you used to get
the boxing glove, and fall to the right of that platform for the final carrot!
************
* STAGE 76 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #4, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: 10-ton weight, safe, boxing glove
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 5. A lot easier than some of the stuff we've been seeing lately.
Start by going left, up the pipe on the left side of the level, push the 10-ton
weight to the edge: when Wile E. Coyote walks by, drop it onto his head! Now,
draw Sylvester #2--he's most likely in front of Sylvester #1--to go up the
squiggly pipe here: once he's in, he'll be stuck inside for the entire level!
That done, go to the right, however you can safely avoid Sylvester #1, but do
go up the pipe along the way that leads to the carrot. Go back down the pipe,
and continue right, and go up the second pipe--the one closer to the wall.
You'll get two carrots and a boxing glove while inside the pipe! After
exiting, go right for another carrot. Fall to the right where the safe is:
you can probably hit Daffy on the head with that! After you do or don't kill
Daffy with the safe, fall to the left, then go up the pipe. Then go up the
next pipe. Then fall to the right for another carrot: if you have a good shot
of Sylvester #4, shoot him with the boxing glove: if not, no worries. Fall to
the left for a carrot, then go up the two pipes, and fall to the right twice
for the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 77 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: boxing glove (2)
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 8
QUICKLY go down the pipe on the left side of your room, before Daffy Duck can
start moving, to get a boxing glove and a carrot. Go back up the pipe, then
wait at the pipe on the right side of the room. When Wile E. Coyote starts
walking to the right, hurry down this pipe and shoot your boxing glove at him!
You'll get a carrot as you do. Go up the very next pipe, and you'll be taken
across the level to where Yosemite Sam walks below. Now, stand on top of the
pipe on the very left side of the level, and head down when Yosemite Sam is
walking to the LEFT, and in the MIDDLE of the room: this gives you enough time
to get the carrot and hurry up the pipe, while also providing a little room for
error. When finished, go back down the second pipe to the left, leading back
to the room Wile E. Coyote once was. Go up any of the three pipes leading to
the room above for another carrot, then take any of them back down for another
carrot.
Now, go back to the left side of the room, and go back up the pipe that leads
to Daffy's area. Now go down the pipe to the very left of that one: this will
lead you to right below where Sylvester #2 hangs out. Now go to the rightmost
pipe, and watch Sylvester #2's movements above: hurry up the pipe when it
looks safest and grab the carrot, then hurry to the pipe on the right, and go
down. Get the final carrot here, and watch as you don't even get a chance to
grab that second boxing glove.
************
* STAGE 78 *
************
Enemies: Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote
Weaponry: boxing glove
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 2. One of the game's easiest levels. Why it's so late in the
game I could not guess.
Head right, and go up the stairs for a carrot. Go up the tiny pipe for a
boxing glove, and shoot Daffy Duck with it. Go left and right here for two
more carrots, then go up the left and right sets of stairs for two more
carrots. Go up either of the two pipes in the center of the level, then hurry
up the pipe right above that. There's a slight chance Wile E. Coyote will kill
you on the way up, but otherwise, fall off the left side when it's safe to grab
the final carrot.
************
* STAGE 79 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam
Weaponry: crate, boxing glove
Level Type: pipe, vertical
Difficulty: 9
Fall off the right edge of your platform, then go up the pipe on the left,
getting a carrot while inside the pipe. Fall down to the left for a carrot,
then fall down to the left again. Run into the wall on your right to get
Sylvester #4 to leave the boxing glove, then fall left again and grab it
yourself. Fall to the right four times, then go up the pipe on the right,
getting another carrot in this pipe. Fall right this time, three times again,
getting a carrot along the way. Fall to the left three times, then try to kill
someone below with the crate: as many enemies are down there, you're bound to
hit someone!
When finished with the crate, go back up either of the two pipes. Fall to the
left, then fall to the right, taking one step left for a carrot, then falling
to the right again for another carrot. Quickly fall to either side--you
unfortunately can't see the enemy that's likely below you, so just cross your
fingers as you make the fall. If you survive, go back up either pipe, then
fall to the right, then fall to the left, then fall to the right, getting a
carrot along the way, then fall to the left... I hope you can follow all of
this! Now, you can see the final carrot below, with Yosemite Sam, and likely
a lot of other enemies, guarding. Try to get the Sylvesters to go up the pipe.
When it's safe--or when a Sylvester from above doesn't let you wait any
longer--fall down to the right, knock Yosemite Sam out with your boxing glove,
and hope you can survive long enough to grab the last carrot! Whew!
************
* STAGE 80 *
************
Enemies: Sylvester #1, Sylvester #2, Sylvester #3, Sylvester #4, Yosemite Sam,
Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck
Weaponry: safe, crate, bucket
Level Type: pipe, horizontal
Difficulty: 5. Despite this being the final level, it's not really all that
difficult.
About half a second after the level starts, keep walking left: this will cause
Sylvester #4, who starts on your level, to go down the pipe to his left, and
you won't have to worry about him the rest of the level! You'll get a carrot,
too. Now, keep walking left, and kick the crate ahead, which will kill Wile E.
Coyote.
Continue walking left for a second carrot, and stand below the pipe with the
carrot on top until Sylvester #1, on the floor above you, goes down this pipe.
Then hurry to the right. Get the carrot ahead, then go up the pipe on the
right side of the level, getting a carrot while inside. Get the carrot to your
right, then hurry to the left. Kick the safe, and eventually, it'll kill
Daffy. Continue to the left for two more carrots, then up the pipe for the
final level. All that, and three of the enemies posed absolutely zero threat
to you whatsoever! Kinda' easy, if you ask me.
***END OF THE GAME***
The instruction booklet may say you're trying to save Honey Bunny, but you
won't find her here. Instead, all that will happen is Bugs will walk slowly
across the screen, then stop in the middle, saying "Congraturations!! You are
good player!!" All that work for so little reward. Sigh. Once Bugs starts
doing his jumping jacks, you can press START, A, or B to start the game over
from Level 1, but you can also choose any level you want now. Or you can just
turn it off: you beat the game once, the game doesn't change after you beat
it, why play it twice in a row? Up to you, though!
***PASSWORD/MISCELLANEOUS***
XHO2. As in the letter O, and not the number zero. That's really the only
password you need, as, aside from bringing you to Level 80, it'll also let you
play any other level! When on the level select screen, simply press up to go
down a level, or down to go up a level... backwards, I know, but it works! So
instead of having a tiring list of every password, just memorize one simple
password, and you can play whatever level you like!
..oh, and SSSS. That's the official password to Level 1. If you start the
game from the first level, and intentionally kill yourself--as that's the only
way you CAN die on the first level--you'll notice the password given is SSSS...
most password guides seem to neglect it for whatever reason. Ah well.
The second 10-ton weight in Level 1, the boxing glove in Level 1, and the
bucket in Level 6 are the only three weapons that absolutely cannot be used in
the game. EVERY other weapon in the game can potentially kill an enemy!
Challenge yourself by trying to use some of the more difficult ones, like the
bucket in Level 21, the bucket in Level 41, or the bucket in Level 68...
noticing a pattern there?
You can safely travel through Sylvester when he is going through a passageway
or pipe.
If you land on the final carrot of the level, and an enemy is there, you'll hit
the enemy and go through the death animation, but you'll still beat the level,
and not even lose a life!
If you are killed when your back is to a pushable weapon, the weapon will
strangely push itself toward where you were after your death animation is over.
Is Bugs back as a ghost to try to haunt the level?
Sylvester #3 must not have been too popular with the game makers... from Levels
23-51, and again from 71-80, he only appears when all the other Sylvesters are
present. It's as if he were only used because they were desperate for a fourth
Sylvester....
All of the levels from 7-48, with the exception of Level 15, are based off
levels from the NES version of the game! Like Level 7 is a tougher version of
the NES' Level 1. Level 8 is an easier version of the NES' Level 2. Level 9
is a tougher version of the NES' Level 4. And Level 3 on the NES, as well as
18 other NES levels, were left out of this version of the game.
At the beginning of each level, the enemies are frozen for about a second
before they start moving. Use this short time to your advantage!
Ever wonder what that "VIDEO" option is all about on the "Select Mode" screen?
Well, if you choose Video, you will get to watch a replay of the level you just
finished, whether by getting the last carrot or by dying.
Not too interesting yet, but it gets better: in a level with a potion, go
after an enemy, but pause the game before you make the kill, waiting for your
potion power to run out. When your invincibility is gone, unpause the game and
run into the enemy. You'll die. But if you play back the video, you'll see
Bugs killing the enemy instead--the video does not record a pause, and as such,
in the video, Bugs will still have the invincibility he'd lost! The video
could last forever, with no end, with Bugs just standing there, unless another
enemy kills him.
But it gets BETTER! During Bugs' death animation, any button you press on the
control--UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, A, and B--are still recorded! So you can
actually continue to control what Bugs will do in the video even after you're
dying in reality, from walking, to using passageways and pipes, to throwing
punches! It is even entirely possible, if you collect 7 carrots before getting
the potion, to pause the game to force your invincibility to wear off, then hit
an enemy, then press the buttons so that Bugs would actually get the final
carrot and beat the level! Heck, on your last life, you could show off to a
friend, pretending you just beat the level, and then he'll be confused why
you're immediately getting a game over! Have fun with that!
