-1.00 Introduction
__________________________________________________

Welcome to my third FAQ on GameFAQs! Not much to really say here other than
this FAQ will tell you the locations of every vehicle in both versions of
Transformers: The Movie for the Nintendo DS, along with their stats and
appearances.

Two things to note are that the Arctic Level is exclusive to the Autobots
Version of the game while the Qatar Level is exclusive to the Decepticons
Version of the game, and you can NOT play as exclusive characters or
vehicles in the opposite version of the game.

Also, I must warn you that I've only completed the Decepticons Version of
this game so far, so please bare with me while I get the stats and
appearances for the Autobots Version exclusive vehicles.

-4.00 Other Fun Stuff / Q&A
__________________________________________________

While driving around in vehicle mode, you can't normally tell which
vehicles around you are opposing Transformers (unless they have a
weapon on the hood when they're not supposed to). However, if you ram
into another vehicle AND it's a Transformer, he will yell in surprise
and be forced into his robot mode while falling onto his back. This is
a great way to check if a vehicle will turn into a Transformer and
attack you before you go to scan it!

Also, you're able to scan other Transformers as well! If a Transformer
is attacking you and you move to a place they can not melee you
(such as on top of a low roof), you can scan the Transformer and
become the same vehicle it transforms into! Scanning actual characters,
such as Bumblebee and Barricade, won't give you any results.

Opposing robots can be any nonflying vehicle you have scanned.
If you see a vehicle that does not belong in the area you are
in, such as the Peace Van driving around Tranquility, it is most
definately a robot.

The Notchback is the only vehicle without a secondary colour option.

Q: If I have the Autobots Version of the game, can I unlock Decepticons,
the Love Cruiser, Stunt Car, Construction, Scout Car, or G1 Starscream?
What about the other way around if I own the Decepticons Version?

A: No. You can not play as Decepticons in the Autobots Version or vice
versa. These characters and vehicles are only available in one of the
two versions of the game. To get the full story, you need to purchase
both versions of the game.

Q: Why did you rank the vehicles' stats out of 11? Wouldn't 10 make
more sense?

A: Looking through all of the stats for every vehicle, I found that
the vast majority of them fill the bar in segments of 1/11ths. Of
course, this means that all of the stats listed in this FAQ are
ESTIMATED. When you see a vehicle like The Hot Rodder with all 10's,
but then look at the actual stats in the game itself, you'll notice
that its stats arn't all perfectly alligned (like how its top speed
is a pixel longer than its handling). These estimations are as close
as you're going to get without grabbing a magnifying glass and counting
each stat's length in pixels, one by one.

Q: What the heck! I scanned a vehicle and it said there were no results!

A: Not every vehicle in the game is available to play as. Which is a
shame, because a lot of the military and police vehicles look like a
lot of fun.
