                                FAQ Overview [OVR01]

To skip to a certain section of the FAQ make use of ctrl+f.
To find the stategy for each map press ctrl+f and search for the map's name.

This FAQ focuses on getting you through the levels in the quickest time.

Please note when I refer to directions (such as up-left) it is the same as the
direction that needs to be held on the d-pad to face that way. This can be
confusing because Steal Princess's levels are all at an angle. I will,
however, say only "left" or "right" when it is obvious which way I mean. Also,
when I say "forward" I mean the way your character is facing.

Terms used:
"Box" or "keybox" - the box with the key hole on it that causes the gate to
open when you put a key in it.
"Gate" or "door" - opens when you use the key. Go through it to complete the
level.
Crate or box - the destroyable or movable boxes that are on the maps.
Pit - an area of spikes sticking upwards. Fall in and take damage.
Invincibility frames - when you or an enemy is blinking they will not be able
to take damage.

Format for each map is as follows

Victory Condition: Here will be the word for word victory condition plus an
expanation if needed. It always ends in an exclamation mark for some reason...

Gold: Time required to get a gold medal.
Silver: Time required to get a silver medal.
Bronze: Time required to get a bronze medal.

How to Complete: This is how to complete the map without worrying about time
limits.

How to Achieve Gold: This is how to beat the map in gold medal time. Most of
the time this isn't necessary as the previous section will have the quickest
way. But some levels require a trick or two that may or may not be obvious.

General tips:
-If you are going for gold try to defeat the enemy closest to the keybox last.
-Don't jump unless you have to. Jumping and falling take longer than walking.
If you need to get down from a high place go the way that will require the
fewest number of falls.
-Some enemies will drop gems if you whip them instead of first killing them.

                              List of Enemies [LOE01]
******************************************************************************
These are a list of enemies seen in Steal Princess along with a
brief description of what they look like and how to defeat them.

Kobold -          First enemy you see. Looks like a humanoid wolf or dog.
                 Carries an axe. Easy to defeat.

Switch -          Looks like a picnic basket. Hit it with your whip to have
                 something happen on the map (like whisps appearing). Can be
                 destroyed with bombs, so make sure you activate them before
                 killing them when necessary.

Giant Kobold -    A large kobold. The boss of Grasslands - Map 6. Takes 10
                 hits with a sword to kill. Easy to beat, all you need to do
                 is stand in front of it and keep slashing with the sword. It
                 usually won't attack while stunned.

Warlock -         Old man who shoots magic at you out of his wand. Cannot be
                 whipped.  Magic can be bounced back with a shield.

Longfin -         Giant fish that are king of the sea. (How they can ALL be
                 king is beyond me.) They spit water at you from a distance.
                 Has legs... (do they wear pants?)

Lilybug -         Flying bugs. Good to use as platforms and to reach higher
                 places. You may have to whip them down to be able to kill
                 them.

Spinners -        Spiders that shoot hard to see web at you. Can't be whipped.

Razorback -       A rolling creator. Looks like an armadillo or something.
                 They really hurt when you're hit by one.

Giant Razorback - A big razorback. Boss of Grasslands - Map 18. Easy to beat,
                 all you need to do is stand in front of it and keep slashing
                 with the sword. It usually won't attack while stunned.

Spluddle -        A blob of liquid goo. Comes in several different flavors.
                 When you jump on their heads they split into two.

Koballoon -       A kobold flying with a balloon.

Culverin -        Cannons that shoot you or projectiles straight up.

Golem -           Large structures that shoot rockets when hit. These rockets
                 don't hurt but allow for travel. Can be destroyed so make
                 sure you get to where you want to go without killing it.

Giant longfin -   A big fish. There's two of them in Mountain - Map 6.

Bosses:

Lucretia - Does Lucretia have an annoying style of speaking? Yes she does.

Each weapon has a durability. This is the number to see on the bottom right.
This is how many times it can be used before breaking. Some weapons can be
"charged" by holding down the attack button to perform a different attack.

The Malta Grasslands...

The Grasslands are just a simple set of maps to get you used to the game and
the game controls. The levels are straightforward and getting gold requires
little to no insight.

----------------------- Map 1 - Hotori Road 1 [LGR01] ------------------------

Description: Such a peaceful place for me to teach you the basics of battle.

Victory Condition: Defeat the kobold!

Gold: 0:20
Silver: 0:40
Bronze: 2:40

How to Complete:
Simply jump onto the cliff infront of you while avoiding the kobold,
grab the sword, and slash. He will go down in one hit, dropping a
key. Take it to the box then go through the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
There is no trick to get a gold, simply do the previous mentioned
steps in a fast manner without stopping to get gems.

----------------------- Map 2 - Hotori Road 2 [LGR02] ------------------------

Description:
Don't let that kobold ambush ruin your day. With my guidance, you can do it!

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 0:25
Silver: 0:45
Bronze: 2:45

How to Complete:
Just like the first map pick up the sword and jump up the cliff. The only
difference is that there is three kobolds to defeat. One swipe each and
then pick up the key, put it in the slot, and go through the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
No secret, just don't take the time to pick up gems.

----------------------- Map 3 - Hotori Road 3 [LGR03] ------------------------

Description:
A quiet path where I can teach you the basics of weapon affinities.

Victory Condition: Defeat the enemies in order!

Gold: 0:25
Silver: 0:45
Bronze: 2:45

How to Complete:
Grab the red sword close to you. Kill the red kobold. Grab the blue sword he
drops. Kill the blue kobold. Pick up the dropped Bolt Sword and kill the
yellow kobold. Use the key he drops to open the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
Just like the other beginner levels this one has no trick to getting a fast
time. Don't take the time to look for gems or pick them up.

---------------------- Map 4 - Tobari Garden 1 [LGR04] -----------------------

Description:
It's time to learn about wisps and how they can help you move around.

Victory Condition: Use the key to open the gate!

Gold: 0:15
Silver: 0:35
Bronze: 2:35

How to Complete:
Use your whip to climb the wisps up to the plateau. The key is right there
in front of the box. You can go for gold right away or explore to the left
where there is some gems. You can also try to master the whip controls as
they may take a couple of tries to get down. Pick up the key, put it in the
box, and go out the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
Don't take the time to get the two gems above you on the left and this will be
an easy gold.

---------------------- Map 5 - Tobari Garden 2 [LGR05] -----------------------

Description:
There's a switch in the middle of this garden. I wonder what it does...

Victory Condition: Use the key to open the door!

Gold: 0:20
Silver: 0:40
Bronze: 2:40

How to Complete:
Go up and use your whip on the switch. Then grab the key and head for the now
visible keybox. You can jump on the keybox to grab the gem if you don't want
to go for gold right away (You can't get the gem after you use the key. Well
actually, if you jump ontop of the door then you can get to it). Then head for
the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
Hit the switch, take the key to the box, and go through the door. Don't stop
for gems and you'll be fine.

---------------------- Map 6 - Tobari Garden 3 [LGR06] -----------------------

Description:
A giant kobold is guarding the path. Beat him up!

Victory Condition: Defeat the kobold!

Gold: 0:40
Silver: 1:00
Bronze: 3:00

How to Complete:
Grab the sword, head for the big kobold. Hit him with the sword to stun him.
He will take ten hits to kill. The easiest and fastest way to beat him is to
keep slashing while he's stunned until he gets hit again. He usually won't
attack while stunned just stand there slashing until he dies. There are some
hearts around if you ever get hit and need the health. When he dies you can
get the key to open the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
Just use the strategy above to defeat him. Just don't take the time to get the
gem from and you'll get the gold with little effort.

----------------------- Map 7 - Prima Hills 1 [LGR07] ------------------------

Description:
The hills hide many, many secrets. Search around for your weapons...

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 0:40
Silver: 1:00
Bronze: 3:00

How to Complete:
Pick up the Water Sword close by and kill the two blue kobolds walking around.
(Note: If you use your whip on the lower kobold you can get a gem.)  After
they are dead switch to your whip and use the whisps located above you in the
middle of the platform you started on to get up to a Flame Sword. Jump down
to the other side of the river and slice the two red kobolds. The lower one
will drop a white sword you can use to defeat the two white kobolds (if you
whip the lower one it will give you a gem). Pick up the key and cross the
river to the keybox. Then make your way to the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
Quickly pick up the sword, kill the top blue kobold, then the lower one. Use
the whip to make your way to the Flame Sword. Kill the top red kobold, then
the lower red one. Pick up the dropped sword, kill the remaining enemies, take
the key to the box and make your way to the door.

----------------------- Map 8 - Prima Hills 2 [LGR08] ------------------------

Description:
This is a great, sunny place to practice using that whip of yours.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 0:50
Silver: 1:10
Bronze: 3:10

How to Complete:
Immediately walk to the left and onto the head of the left-most kobold. Wait
for him to take you across the pit of spikes. Jump to the other side when you
are close enough. When you're on the other side use your whip to move the two
kobolds in the pit up to where you are (you will defeat them later). Jump on
the head of the kobold standing in front of some wooden boxes. From there you
can jump over the boxes to the sword. Pick it up and destroy atleast one of
the wooden boxes (inorder to get back up. The left box holds a gem). Jump down
and kill all four kobolds. They will take each take three hits to kill. Take
the key to the box and make your way to the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
Do all the basic steps above but you can save time when you're killing the
kobolds by striking one then strike a nearby one while the previous one is
still stunned. Also don't bother picking up gems. You can also save time in
the beginning by jumping into the pit to cross (taking a small amount of
damage in the process).

----------------------- Map 9 - Prima Hills 3 [LGR09] ------------------------

Description:
It's time for some shield practice, Hero. Get ready!

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 0:25
Silver: 0:45
Bronze: 2:45

How to Complete:
Pick up the shield and use it to push the block up against the cliff (takes
two hits). Jump up to the warlock and longfin. You'll notice how they're
throwing projectiles at you. Stand in the path of the projectiles and use
the shield to repel them back onto the ememies. (Don't whip them or they'll
stop shooting at you making it impossible to kill them.) Take the key to the
box then make your way to the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
No trick here. You can even pick up the gem from the keybox and still have a
couple of seconds to spare.

--------------------- Map 10 - Alto Highlands 1 [LGR10] ----------------------

Description:
Here are some orbs for you to play with. The Phoenix is the most powerful.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 0:45
Silver: 1:05
Bronze: 3:05

How to Complete:
Make your way up the cliffs grabbing the orbs as you go. Ignore all the
enemies. Then go back down to the keybox where you'll find the key nearby.
Put it in the box then climb the cliffs again to the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
No tips needed. Just do everything above without getting any gems.

--------------------- Map 11 - Alto Highlands 2 [LGR11] ----------------------

Description:
It's a lilybug infestation! Fortunately, they're pretty cute.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 1:00
Silver: 1:20
Bronze: 3:20

How to Complete:
Go forward and jump to where the brown sword is. Pick it up and ride the
lilybug on the right to the high land. From there go downward (toward the
door) and kill the lilybug there. Take the sword it dropped and manuever your
way to the north edge where you will find some green lilybugs. One jump and
a slash will kill them. Pick up the sword one of them dropped and immediately
switch to the whip. From the edge of the cliff whip over the two white
lilybugs so they are up with you before killing them with the sword (you may
have to move to get a better reach on the left bug). Take the key to the box
then go to the door, just don't jump down or you'll have to restart.

How to Achieve Gold:
No trick to this level either, just don't fall down once you first get up to
the cliff and you'll be fine.

----------------------- Map 12 - Alto Lookout [LGR12] ------------------------

Description:
It's too bad you won't have time to take in the view from this high ground...

Victory Condition: Defeat the kobold!

Gold: 1:00
Silver: 1:20
Bronze: 3:20

How to Complete:
Hit the switch and take the wisps to the top platform. From there hit the
left switch and then continue forward where you will see some wisps below.
Take them and drop down to the two platforms floating in the water. From here
you will have to wait until they start going up (at about 0:33 if you're
making good time).  When the platform gets to the top, take the wisps to the
cliff with the sword on it. Take the sword to kill the kobold (if you use the
whip on him you get a gem), then take the key to the box and go to the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
The only tip I can give you is that when you're taking the first wisps up you
can skip some of them. You take the first two regularly but you can skip the
third one on if you aim your whip at the top one. (This is rather easy to do).

----------------------- Map 13 - Gad's Road 1 [LGR13] ------------------------

Description:
Lances, kobolds, and falling platforms. Oh my!

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 0:45
Silver: 1:05
Bronze: 3:05

How to Complete:
Go right to pick up the sword. Wait for the platforms to reappear then follow
them where you'll find some red kobolds. Defeat both of them. The left one
will drop a blue lance. Take it and make your way to the ledge with the blue
kobolds on them. "Charge" up the lance and take out all the enemies in one
hit (you have to because the lance has only one durability). Put the key in
the box and make your way to the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
The easiest way to save time is to just jump into the pits and take the damage
at the beginning. Also destroy the right-most red kobold first.

----------------------- Map 14 - Gad's Road 2 [LGR14] ------------------------

Description:
Repairing an item will increase its durability. You should try this.

Victory Condition: Defeat all spinners!

Gold: 0:40
Silver: 1:00
Bronze: 3:00

How to Complete:
Start off hitting the switch with your whip. Then pick up the sword and make
your way up the wisps that you made appear (ignore the spinner). Pick up the
hammer icon to give the sword unlimited durability. Jump onto the side of the
river opposite of where you started and start killing the spinners. When these
three are killed make your way back to where the first spinner you saw. Kill
it, get the key, open the door, and complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
Just kill the first spinner you see last for the quickest time. You can also
try using the wisps to cross the river to try and save a second.

----------------------- Map 15 - Gad's Road 3 [LGR15] ------------------------

Description:
Here's a great lesson on dealing with limited durability...

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies expect the switches!

Gold: 1:10
Silver: 1:30
Bronze: 3:30

How to Complete:
Immediately activate the switch on screen. Use the platform to jump up to the
plateau. Walk past the blue kobolds to the area with three switchest. Hit the
one on the right to reveal a blue and red flail. Pick up the red one (with 2
durability) and cross the river. You will see four red kobolds. You will need
to get them close together to defeat them with one or two shots with the
flail. (Note that flails must be charged to use and can be used from a
distance.) You can get the kobolds in groups using one of two different
methods. You can either walk in front of them and allow them to follow you
(the faster, but less reliable method) or you can whip them all into the same
area. Either way get them in the same area and kill them with the flail. (I
suggest getting them by the river bank while standing in the river to attack
them.) When the red guys are defeated, go back to pick up the blue flail and
to defeat the blue kobolds. These guys will need to be defeated in one blow.
Use a method to round them up and attack them with the flail.

How to Achieve Gold:
Use the method of walking in front to round up the red kobolds and use the
whip to group the blue kobolds to minimize time taken.

----------------------- Map 16 - Horn Basin 1 [LGR16] ------------------------

Description:
Sometimes, when all else fails, you need to blow stuff up!

Victory Condition: Defeat all warlocks!

Gold: 0:45
Silver: 1:05
Bronze: 3:05

How to Complete:
Grab the bomb in front of you and throw both of them at the two crates
blocking your way. (Be careful not to get caught up in the blast as two hits
will kill you. Place the bomb on the ground and run away if you keep getting
hurt.) After destroying the two crates go left and run into a bomb and three
crates in front of the door. Pick up the bomb and place it (by holding the
attack button) as close to the middle crate as possible. Run away to avoid
getting blown up. The three crates will be destroyed where you will find some
more bombs. Pick them up then stand close to the edge across from the two
warlocks. From here use your whip to hit the switch (this facilitates getting
the key). Either place a bomb near the now close warlocks or throw one from a
distance to kill all three of them. Take the key to the box in the bottom
right area of the map then run to the door to complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
The tip here is to just take damage from the pit.
Grab the first bomb then jump in the pit to the left and make your way to
those three crates in front of the door. Use your two bombs to blow up the
three crates and take the unlimited bombs found inside. Then move to across
from the warlocks and throw bombs across to defeat them (don't worry about
hitting the switch). Jump into the pit to reach the key and then take it to
the box. Then run to the exit.

----------------------- Map 17 - Horn Basin 2 [LGR17] ------------------------

Description:
These platforms are a bit scary, but I'm sure you'll be fine...

Victory Condition: Use the key to open the gate!

Gold: 0:35
Silver: 0:55
Bronze: 2:55

How to Complete:
Right away hit the switch and continue forward. Standing next to the next
switch, activate it and ride the platform up. Hit the switch on the left then
walk across the created platform. Don't hit the next switch. Jump to the key
and jump it over to the keybox. From there don't hit the next switch but
continue on the the farthest platform and hit that switch. Take the wisps to
the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
The trick is to only activate the switches necessary and jump from platforms
rather than relying on them moving. Follow the steps above and you'll only
hit the right switches.

----------------------- Map 18 - Horn Basin 3 [LGR18] ------------------------

Description:
Oh no! A giant razorback! Be careful, Hero.

Victory Condition: Defeat the razorback!

Gold: 0:45
Silver: 1:05
Bronze: 3:05

How to Complete:
Simple, just pick up the sword and start swinging at the ememy.

How to Achieve Gold:
Just don't worry about dodging any attacks, just keep slashing away while he
is stunned to minimize the time.

---------------------- Map 19 - Kaya Plateau 1 [LGR19] -----------------------

Description:
The spluddles have taken up residence here. Defeat them in order, Hero!

Victory Condition: Defeat the enemies in order.

Gold: 1:00
Silver: 1:20
Bronze: 3:20

How to Complete:
Order to kill spluddles with location: brown (top), red (lower), green (top),
blue/purple (top), yellow (top), white (lower).
Grab the first bomb then kill the enemies in the order written above (while
picking up the bomb dropped from each one). This level can be difficult
because you can easily get hurt bt the bombs or enemies. If you are having
trouble plant the bombs on the ground and trick the enemies to walk over them.

How to Achieve Gold:
There isn't much I can say. Just don't hurt yourself with the bombs.

---------------------- Map 20 - Kaya Plateau 2 [LGR20] -----------------------

Description:
Longfin are the king of the sea. How they can ALL be "king" is beyond me...

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 0:50
Silver: 1:10
Bronze: 3:10

How to Complete:
Pick up the red sword and kill the two red fish in front of you. Get the
dropped blue sword and cross the river to defeat the blue longfin. Pick up the
white sword dropped. Then go to the north bank of the river and wait for the
fish to jump out so you can defeat them (watch their patterns to learn where
they'll land or just whip them out of the water). Grab the key and finish the
level.

How to Achieve Gold:
The trick is in the timing of defeating the white fish. When you defeat the
blue fish the white ones should just be about to jump out at the lower end
of the river. Rush over there to kill the one of the right side and then
quickly jump to the other side to kill another one. The final longfin will
jump in the water before you're able to kill it so just follow it along the
bank and defeat him when he jumps out. The key is now close to the box
allowing for the best time.

---------------------- Map 21 - Kaya Plateau 3 [LGR21] -----------------------

Description:
Koballoons like to fly through the sky. You can burst their bubble though.

Victory Condition: Defeat the koballoon!

Gold: 0:40
Silver: 1:00
Bronze: 3:00

How to Complete:
Walk and jump forward until you find you can't get up the cliff. Jump and whip
the koballoon to get up the cliff and grab the bomb. Make sure you destroy one
of the three crates near the bomb ensuring a way to get to the door. Stand on
the high ledge waiting for the koballoon and throw a bomb when he gets in
range. Take the key down to the box and return back up for the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
Just do the above steps quickly.

---------------------- Map 22 - Hazard Vale 1 [LGR22] ------------------------

Description:
Culverins have one basic purpose in life: to spit stuff out.

Victory Condition: Use the key to open the gate!

Gold: 0:25
Silver: 0:45
Bronze: 2:45

How to Complete:
Right away head for the culverin and jump in. Get launched to the key and head
for the box then the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
No trick here.

---------------------- Map 23 - Hazard Vale 2 [LGR23] ------------------------

Description:
This place would be much more peaceful if it weren't for the golems and
kobolds.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the golems!

Gold: 0:35
Silver: 0:55
Bronze: 2:55

How to Complete:
Start by picking up the sword. Ignore the kobold and head for the golem. Hit
him with your sword while you are to the top-left of him (meaning you will
be pressing down-right on the d-pad when you hit him). You will be launched
across the map killing kobolds as you go. Jump to the other golem and get
launched across the map to where you started. Put the key in the box. Then
just jump into the pit to reach the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
Taking the golems is the fastest way to kill the enemies. Just make sure the
kobold next to the keybox is killed last and to take the pit to the opened
gate.

---------------------- Map 24 - Hazard Vale 3 [LGR24] ------------------------

Description:
It's time to learn the ancient art of pushing razonbacks with a shield.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 0:50
Silver: 1:10
Bronze: 3:10

How to Complete:
Jump up to the shield and pick it up. Fall back down and use it to push the
red razorback into the red kobold (be careful not to hit him down the cliff).
Jump back up to where you got the shield and knock the razorback into the
crate. Go left and knock the yellow razorback into the two yellow kobolds.
Then make your way back and up to get to the blue razorback and do the same

Lucretia will be in the air on a spinning platform. Walk around until it
charges for an attack (you will know by the noise it makes). Because it will
stop spinning you can now whip a thorn and make your way next to Lucretia to
slash her with the sword. She will start sending spiked rings down to you so
make sure to jump over them when they come at you. Four hits will kill her.

How to Achieve Gold:
Just make sure you pick up the sword right away and whip up to her on the
first charge attack. You can also get up when the thorns slow down so just
keep jumping and whipping.

How to Complete:
Start out by grabbing the flail. Whip the three kobolds near you into one pile
then kill them with the flail (or you can take them out one by one). Move over
to the switch and activate it (don't whip down the lilybugs). Jump up on the
first step and use the flail to kill the lower lilybug (don't hit the higher
one). Move to the third step and ride the lilybug to the moving platform. Kill
the four kobolds up top. Take the bomb and destroy the crate to your north.
Then head back down the cliff. Before jumping down place a bomb near the
crates blocking your way and grab the dropped flail. From the third step kill
the lilybug. Then jump down to the switch and kill it with the flail. Take the
key to the box then make your way to the opened gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
Do the steps above with a few time-saving steps. Whip the first kobolds into
a pile and take them out with one shot. Then activate the switch and kill the
first lilybug. The next four kobolds can be taken out two at a time if you
throw the flail between them from below and left of the groups of two (meaning
you will be holding up-left on the d-pad). Take the bomb, destroy the
necessary crates. Then jump down near the switch and whip the lilybug down.
Destroy both the switch and lilybug with one throw of your flail. Take the key
to the box then head for the exit.


----------------------- Map 2 - Frozen Pass 2 [LMT02] ------------------------

Description:
These kobolds are masters at hiding. Keeeeeee!

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies.

How to Complete:
This level is fun and easy. You have a lance and three shots to take out seven
kobolds. Pick it up and line yourself up with the three holes on the left.
When the kobolds come out and the moving box isn't in your way then launch
yourself into them. Then go behind the other three and do the same thing. When
the middle guy shows up you can lance him or whip him out of his hole to avoid
the moving box that often blocks your way.

How to Achieve Gold:
Make sure to kill the first three before they go down for the first time. Then
launch at the next three when you see the box take a turn out of your way.
Cancel your movement and switch to the whip to get the middle kobold out of
his moving platform before he has a chance to go back down. A quick kill and
a gold medal is in your grasp.

-------------------------- Map 3 - Aqueduct [LMT03] --------------------------

Description:
The kobolds in this area rely on their koballoon lookout. Get rid of him.

Victory Condition: Defeat the koballoon!

How to Complete:
Start off going straight into the pit taking the damage to get across (or you
can whip the two kobolds and jump on their heads to cross). Grab the sword
then switch to the whip. Jump and whip your way to cross the water using the
koballoon (do not whip him while not jumping or you will need to restart).
When you get across take out your sword and kill the koballoon when he's over
land (watch his shadow to make sure). Put the key in the box and just jump
into the pit to make your way to the door.

How to Achieve Gold:
Just make sure to kill the koballoon when you get to the other side right away
and don't give him time to go back.

----------------------- Map 4 - Chilly Lake 1 [LMT04] ------------------------

Description:
Lilybugs and longfin lie in wait. Look before you leap, Hero.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

How to Complete:
Grab the sword and slice the closest longfin. Take the bomb and throw them at
the two yellow lilybugs (you only have three chances so be careful). Pick up
the sword and head to the next longfin. Bomb the two red lilybugs, get the
sword and kill the next longfin. Pick up the bombs. The next enemies are a
lilybug and two longfin. Ignore the first longfin and whip your way to the
the other side of the water. Kill the longfin with a well placed bomb and whip
your way back to the other side (do not waste any bombs as you need one per
enemy). Now you need to kill the lilybug then the longfin. The best way is to
whip it over to the longfin then bomb them at the same time. Then get the key
and beat the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
The trick is the order you kill the blue enemies. The best way is to kill the
farthest blue fish then whip the lilybug close to the other one and kill them
at the same time.

----------------------- Map 5 - Chilly Lake 2 [LMT05] ------------------------

Description:
The warlocks have made this area their home. The bolt warlock is their leader.

Victory Condition: Defeat the bolt warlock!

How to Complete:
Follow the path past the two warlocks and get on the moving platform to cross
the water. Pick up the shield and follow the path until you are blocked by a
crate. Push it straight up. Continue to the left where you will see the bolt
warlock. Stand in front of him and repel his attack to kill him. Put the key
in the nearby box then pick up the other shield and push the small crate up
against the two larger ones to reach to door.

How to Achieve Gold:
After you open the door don't push the small crate to the larger ones. You can
just jump to the left of them and make it to the land.

----------------------- Map 6 - Chilly Lake 3 [LMT06] ------------------------

Description:
Behold, the rulers of Chilly Lake...

Victory Condition: Defeat both longfin!

How to Complete:
Pick up the sword and go to the first longfin. You can wait for the moving
platform or just take the damage from the pit (taking damage isn't a bad idea
because you get invincibility frames that can make it easier to avoid the
giant projectiles it shoots at you). Keep slashing at the longfin while he's
blinking to defeat him quickly. From there go right and get on the top moving
platform and make your way to the next fish. This is exactly the same as the
first part of the level so take the platform if you can't take any more damage
or go through the spikes. Get the key to the box and exit the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
Go through the spiked pits to save time, just make sure to avoid the
projectiles.

----------------------- Map 7 - Frozen Ridge 1 [LMT07] -----------------------

Description:
The longfin have poled up their treasure into crates and are protecting them.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 1:15

How to Complete:
Pick up the nearby sword and take out the white longfin. Pick up the blue
lance and kill the remaining two fish. Get the sword back and head up the
cliff. Repeat the same thing from the beginning. When the two blue fish are
dead go get the bomb next to the keybox and kill the switch with it. After
you open the gate, pick up the shield that the switch dropped. Use the shield
to push the lone crate down the steps (hit it four times). Then push it to the
right so it goes over the other crate and is sitting on the spikes. You should
now walk forward and push the other crate forward. You should have four crates
in a row on top of the spikes. You can now jump from crate to crate to reach
the area that has the gate on it.

How to Achieve Gold:
The above way is the fastest. The trick is to not be lured into using the
other two crates that are up top.

----------------------- Map 8 - Frozen Ridge 2 [LMT08] -----------------------

Description:
These dangerous cliffs over look bone-chilling waters. Watch your step!

Victory Condition: Defeat the koballoon!

How to Complete:
Grab the sword and ignore the two longfin. Go up the steps. Ignore the next
fish and go up to and kill the longfin next to the crate. Then kill the fish
on the right of the crate. He will drop a shield which you should pick up.
With it push the tall crate to the edge of the cliff (you will need to hit it
only once). Then go to the smaller crate and push it next to the taller one.
Then pick the sword back up, switch to your whip, and jump on the crates to
reach the moving platform. Activate the switch and make your way downwards to
reach the lower switch which you will activate. Make your way up the cliff via
the moving platform (if you see a switch fly by, don't hit it). Reach the top
of the cliff move on to the blue platform. Hit the switch and ride the
platform. When the switch you activated is almost out of whip's reach then hit
it to de-activate it. Another platform will come to the top of the platform.
Walk onto it. Ride it and another platform should move to the left of it. Get
on that one. While standing (not jumping) whip the koballoon so it falls down.
Switch to your sword to kill it. Pick up the key and go back up the mountain
the same way you did in the first place.

How to Achieve Gold:
The steps above are the quickest way (in number of enemies killed and where to
go) but there are some time-saving steps. First is when pushing the little
crate you can save a push by first pushing it straight up (instead of pushing
it top-left then top-right). Then you don't have to push it right next to the
taller crate as you jump if it's only one push away. Next tip is when jumping
from the first moving platform to the cliff. You don't have to wait for the
platform to move close to the cliff as you can jump from the farther position
to the cliff. The next tip is when you're going up the mountain for the first
time hit the top switch as soon as possible.


----------------------- Map 9 - Frozen Ridge 3 [LMT09] -----------------------

Description:
Scale this hillside, but be careful of the spinners, razorbacks, and lilybugs.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 1:15

Bronze: 3:35

How to Complete:
Grab the bomb and go to the edge of the cliff. From there kill the spider
using two bombs. Go down and jump on the razorback to reach the box. You will
now need to kill the razorback. Then ride the other razorback to the other
box. Destroy the first razorback by standing on the north corner of the box
and throwing a bomb directly up. It will take two hits to kill him. Now take
the third razorback to get to the blue platform. From here kill the other two
razorbacks. The top one can be killed by facing up-right then standing at the
edge and throwing bombs. The lower one can be killed by standing on the top-
left of the platform then facing the other way and throwing bombs. Now you
will see two moving platforms surrounding a lilybug. Wait until the farthest
one is up and whip your way over there. When you're on the white land whip the
lilybug over to you and kill him with two planted bombs (don't get hit by
them). Now stand on the second step and face up-right. Jump and throw two
bombs to kill the spinner. Then make your way up the middle stair and face the
lilybug. From a distance throw two bombs to kill it. Go up to the top step
and face the spider. Jump and throw two bombs to kill it (don't over throw the
bombs or you will take out the crate ontop of the keybox which would make
it impossible to reach the gate). Now take the key to the box and make your
way to the gate to complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
The quickest way is to not use the razorbacks to cross the pits but instead
to walk through the pits throwing bombs at razorbacks (you will have
invincibility frames from the spikes so you won't take two heart damage from
the exploding bombs). You should only take 2-2.5 hearts damage (max) when you
get to the first lilybug. Just make sure you don't get hurt anymore. The first
lilybug can be killed from a distance so no need to whip it to you. The
trickiest part of the level is the final spinner. With a few practice runs you
can master killing it from the top step.

----------------------- Map 10 - Glacier Lake [LMT10] ------------------------

Description:
The longfin and their golems inhavit this lake. You should spoil their fun.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the golems!

Gold: 1:00
Silver: 1:20
Bronze: 3:20

How to Complete:
Go right to pick up the flail. Use it to kill the two longfin. Then pick up
the sword. Hit the golem so it shoots you up-right (so you will be holding
down-left of the d-pad when you slash him). Pick up the sword and make the
golem shoot you to the up-left. You will land on a blue platform. Ignoring the
fish, have the golem shoot you to the top-right. You should have ran into a
crate.  Pick up the lance that came out of the crate. Use it to kill the two
longfin. Pick up the key and put it in the box then go to the exit.

How to Achieve Gold:
To get a gold on this level you need to do a few things differently. First
start by grabbing the sword and go swipe the right fish twice to kill him.
Then go on to kill the other fish. Now make the golem launch you up-left.
Continue to the left, jump up the first level, and kill the longfin by hitting
him twice with the sword. Now jump up in front of the golem and slash him
as you are falling from the jump (this saves a second). The golem should
launch you into the crate and reveal a lance. Pick it up. *Note: do not fall
down the ledge at this point. Move a little bit in the direction of bottom-
left. Aim at the two longfin (from the high ground, this saves a precious
second!) and launch to kill them. (So you should start the lance launch from
the same platform the you got the lance from and slide down into the two
longfin.) When you hit the second fish cancel the sliding by hitting the
attack button again. Take the key to the box and immediately go left (hold
left on the d-pad). You need to make sure you do not walk past the golem on
the high level (he will stomp and make you lose a couple of seconds). *Note:
when the opening scene is over it will take 10-11 seconds to reach the gate.

----------------------- Map 11 - Glacier Trail [LMT11] -----------------------

Description:
Sometimes, being the Hero isn't all fun and games... like now, for instance.

Victory Condition: Defeat all warlocks!

Gold: 1:00
Silver: 1:20
Bronze: 3:20

How to Complete:
Go pick up the blue bomb. Then wait for the moving platform. When you're on it
whip a longfin over to you. Stand on its head to reach to other moving
platform. When it gets close to the land jump off and make your way to the
warlock. Kill it with the bomb and pick up the red bombs it drops. Go through
the spikes (taking damage) and kill each warlock one by one. The last one will
be on the other side. You will need to jump on a tiny platform on the left
then jump on the larger one to reach the last guy.

How to Achieve Gold:
Start out by walking next to (but not on) the platform that is about to move.
Whip a longfin and place him on the moving platform. Then pick up the bomb and
start making your into the spikes. When you get a little past the middle point
jump and whip the longfin to make your way to the moving platform. Jump on the
large crate. The rest of the level can be completed as described above.

----------------------- Map 12 - Glacier Peak [LMT12] ------------------------

Description:
You're going to have to make some tough decissions here.

Victory Condition: Defeat the longfin!

Gold: 0:40

Bronze: 3:00

How to Complete:
Hit the switch. Then go botton-right and you'll see a wisp. Whip to it and
keep whipping it. You will follow it until you see two other wisps. Whip to
them and land on the platform. Activate the switch and ride the platform
all the way up. Take the sword, kill the fish, take the key, complete the
level.

How to Achieve Gold:
Above is the fastest way to complete the level.

---------------------- Map 13 - Minn Waterfall [LMT13] -----------------------

Description:
I don't know how kobolds reached the top of this waterfall...

Victory Condition: Defeat the flame kobold!

Gold: 0:50

How to Complete:
Make your way up the first steps. You'll see some wisps. Whip from wisp to
wisp as they go up the side. When you reach a land mass you'll have to whip
some more wisps to get up again (if you are having trouble making it over the
edge then whip the kobold at the top). Take the sword and kill the red kobold.
Take the key to the box then complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
No trick here. Just get to the top in one try.

------------------------ Map 14 - Eagle Pass [LMT14] -------------------------

Description:
These switches must be destroyed, somehow.

Victory Condition: Destroy all switches!

Gold: 0:40
Silver: 1:00
Bronze: 3:00

How to Complete:
You need to activate a switch then wait for the other enemies to come out of
their hole then deactivate the switch. Do this for all three switches. (Make
sure that the platforms the other enemies are on are fully up.) Grab the
lance then go though the right four switches, then the middle two, then the
left four. Grab the key and complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
Grab the lance first (saves a small amount of time). Make sure to stop the
switches in the right spot the first time they come up. You may need to find
a correct position where you won't hit two switches at once (such as when
hiting the right switch face the switch for its left side).

----------------------- Map 15 - Eagle Falls [LMT15] -------------------------

Description:
Climbing the waterfall is just the first part of your task...

Victory Condition: Defeat all lilybugs!

Gold: 1:15

How to Complete:
Go up the side of the cliff. You will see some wisps that you need to whip as </pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
they move up to reach the higher blue platforms. Get on the skinny blue
platform and wait for two more wisps to appear above you (on the right). Use
them until you are high enough to reach the lilybugs. Whip one of them to
reach the cliff. Go get the sword and return to the bugs. Whip each one of
them to the land into one big pile (use the touch screen for better accuracy).
Kill them all to get the key to finish the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
No trick here, just get up the mountain in one try.

----------------------- Map 16 - Windy Creek [LMT16] -------------------------

Description:
Only the longfin can swim in these waters. You'll need another way to cross.

Victory Condition: Defeat only the longfin!

How to Complete:
Grab the sword and stand in front of the golem. Make him shoot you to the
bottom-right when the longfin stops. You should go through some other fish on
your way over. When you get to the other side pick up the sword. Switch to
your whip and whip the longfin down onto the blue platform. Hit the switch
to lower the platform. Put the longfin in front of the golem and slash the
golem so he launches you to the up-left (make sure you hit the longfin you
put in the path). You will be launched into a fish and a crate. Take the key
to the box and complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
Hit the first golem as soon as you can (the longfin will walk into the
missile). Then pick up the sword. Switch to the whip and whip the longfin down
with one whip (use the touch screen for accuracy). Then as you're falling hit
the switch. Put the longfin in front of the golem in only one whip (again, use
the touch screen if necessary). Then have the golem shoot you and complete the
level per usual.

----------------------- Map 17 - Frigid Road [LMT17] -------------------------

Description:
Don't let these razorbacks bully you around.

Victory Condition: Defeat all razorbacks!

Gold: 1:15

How to Complete:
First whip the two longfin into the water (to get rid of them). Then whip
all four razorbacks into a group. Go grab the water sword and kill the blue
razorback. Then take the flail and kill the green one. Then the lance to kill
the red one. Finally take the sword and kill the yellow one. Grab the bombs
blow up the giant box blocking your way up the mountain. Go up the cliff.
When you get to the keybox stand on top of it and whip a fish down (need it to
get back up). Jump up the cliff and throw a bomb at the last razorback. Take
the key to the box and use the longfin to jump up to reach the gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
The above technique will get you gold. Just get everything whipped with one
try.

----------------------- Map 18 - Frigid Peak [LMT18] -------------------------

Description:
The giant spuddle is king of the falls. Go get him!

Victory Condition: Defeat the spuddle!

Gold: 1:10

How to Complete:
Climb up the side of the mountaint to the bomb. Pick it up and stand on the
blue platform. It will take you to the giant spuddle. Just stand there
throwing bombs at it and he will die, dropping a key. Take the key all the way
down to the box and climb up to the gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
Just remember to fall back down, don't try taking the moving platform down.

----------------------- Map 19 - Numbing Flats [LMT19] -----------------------

Description:
It's almost like these switches WANT you to blow them up... but don't!

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the switches!

Gold: 1:00
Silver: 1:20
Bronze: 3:20

How to Complete:
Start off by grabbing the bombs then switching to the whip. Hit all three
moving switches to stop them in their tracks. Now you need to focus on the
warlocks. First focus on taking out ones that are not near the switches.
You can either throw the bombs at them or place them near the holes so they go
off as the warlocks come up. For the enemies near the switches you will need
to use the latter technique for enough away from the switches. (Alternate way
of killing them is to drop into the hole and plant a bomb while jumping when
it goes off. This is more dangerous but doesn't require you to pay attention
to where a switch is since the bomb will go off in a hole.) When all enemies
are killed then go get the key and complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
There is not much tips I can give you for this level. Just take one bomb per
warlock then you should be able to beat the level in time. If you are still
having trouble with this level then you should come back when you have enough
health to take a couple of bomb explosions.

---------------------- Map 20 - Lovers' Lake 1 [LMT20] -----------------------

Description:
This lake would be so romantic if the longfin and koballoons were gone.

Victory Condition: Defeat the koballoon!

Gold: 1:00
Silver: 1:20
Bronze: 3:20

How to Complete:
First look to the right and whip the first fish that jumps out (the left one).
You have to whip this fish across the spiked pit. You can simply run across
whipping the fish as you go (taking 1.5 hearts damage in the process) or take
the longer route of activating the switch the jumping on the two longfin heads
to make it across. Once you are there pick up the sword and kill the fish. He
will drop a bomb for you to pick up. Go to the right and you'll see a the
koballoon. Jump and whip it to cross the water. Then wait for it to come back
and whip the balloon down. Throw a bomb at the kobold as he's trying to get
his balloon back up. Put the key in the box. Now you need to make your way to
the gate. You can get threre by running through the pit (only taking .5 heart
damage) or by safely juggling the two blue longfin.

How to Achieve Gold:
Get the longfin over in only three whips (use the touchscreen to get him the
farthest distance away from you). When you pick up the bomb quickly jump off
towards the balloon and whip it to get to the other side. Wait for it to go
away and come back while laying a bomb for it. This should get you the key in
adequate time. (Of course, if you could kill the koballoon when you first get
over then that would be the quickest, although it isn't necessary).

---------------------- Map 21 - Lovers' Lake 2 [LMT21] -----------------------

Description:
These cliffs provide grand views... of golems and longfin.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the golems!

Gold: 1:45

Bronze: 4:05

How to Complete:
Grab the sword then switch to the whip. Whip the top red fish to a spot behind
the other fish. Then slash the golem to make it launch you up-left (you will
go through two blue longfin). Pick up the sword and make the golem launch you
down-right (to kill the two red fish). Pick up the bomb. Use one on the golem
to launch you back to the area with the red golem on it. Use the last bomb to
destroy the large crate. Pick up the sword and go up the cliff. Make your way
to the golem and have him shoot you to the bottom-right (killing a red fish).
Pick up the sword and head south. Use the sword to make the golem send you
top-left (killing the last fish). Put the key in the box. Now go pick up the
bombs from the crate you destroyed to make the red golem send you to the gate
(bottom right). *Note: you can place a bomb next to the last golem the walk
in front to catch the missile.

How to Achieve Gold:
In the beginning use the touchscreen to get the first fish in position. Also
remember you run faster if you have switch to the whip when carrying a bomb.
Not much else, just do everything in the order above.

----------------------- Map 22 - Artic Path 1 [LMT22] ------------------------

Description:
The critters think they've created the perfect road block. Have they?

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

How to Complete:
Start out by whipping the blue kobold to the right of the large crate you
started next to (you will need to use him to reach the top of the crate
later). Now go grab the flame sword. Go up the path on your right and you'll
see a red kobold. Defeat him. Go back to the blue kobold and on your way
activate the switch. Before doing anything else grab the green sword. Now jump
on the blue kobold's head and then onto the large crate when it swings by.
Wait for it to move to the two long crates and jump onto them. Kill the green
longfin you see and take the shield he drops. Go up the cliff to the north
activating the switch as you pass it. Go up some more using the keybox as a
step. You will see a tall crate. You need to push this crate two spots to the
bottom-right (and ONLY when the blue platform is there!). Now that the crate
is on the moving platform, wait for it to move. When the platform stops moving
push the crate once to the top-right (so it lands where the red kobold was).
Now you will have 2 durability on your shield left. Go next to the gate where
you will see a small crate. Push this two places to the bottom-right (it will
be one spot away from the tall crate now). Now you need to go back down to
where you left the green sword. Go pick it up and make your way back up to
where you dropped those two crates. You need to climb to the highest part of
the map to kill a green longfin (the steps begin near where you pushed the
tall box). Kill the longfin then go to the bottom-right to fall off the cliff.
Make your way back to where you started. Pick up the blue sword and kill the
blue kobold. Then pick up the white sword. Go to the right where you saw the
first switch. Kill it with the sword then go up the mountain via the two
crates you pushed off the edge. Go to the left and jump onto the ledge with
the keybox on it. Kill the switch and put the key in the box. Now you need
to go down to the moving platform with the large crate on it. Use this
platform to reach where you started the stage. From here you know how to get
up to the gate using the two crates you pushed off.

How to Achieve Gold:
Oh man, this can be hard. The same basic order is the same but there are a few
things you can do to save time. First off, you don't have to whip the blue
kobold right next to the crate (get him to an adequate position in just one
whip). Then when you are at the part where you jump on the blue kobold's head
to reach the crate you can get across quicker if you jump and whip the green
fish to get across. You can then save time if you make your way to the second
switch and whipping the green fish up to you (saves time getting your sword
back). Also when pushing the long crate, if the blue platform isn't in
position you can push the small crate then drop the shield, grab to sword,
kill the green fish then push the tall crate to the location.

----------------------- Map 23 - Artic Path 2 [LMT23] ------------------------

Description:
These golems are watching over their buddies.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

How to Complete:
Start out by grabbing the flail and switching to the whip. Whip the yellow
longfin off his platform. Switch to the flail. Stand between where the two
blue enemies will come up and charge your flail. Before the two blue enemies
come up throw the flail into the blue golem. A missile should come out (jump
over it) and kill the two enemies. Take the dropped red flail. Stand between
where the two red enemies will come out and charge your flail. Do the same
thing where it launches a missile and kills the two enemies. Then hit the
golem again with the flail to kill it. Pick up the blue flail dropped by
one of the two enemies. Use it to kill the blue golem (takes two hits). Take
the bomb to kill the final longfin (takes two hits if the very first flail
didn't damage him). Take the key to the box and complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
When you whip the middle longfin in the beginning put him in a spot where
he'll get hit by your first flail toss.

----------------------- Map 24 - Lonely Peak [LMT24] -------------------------

Description:
This spiky mountain peak is swarming with lilybugs.

Victory Condition: Defeat the bolt kobolds!

How to Complete:
First make your way to the sword and pick it up. Then continue forward and go
up the steps. Wait and a lilybug will come. Stand on its head and ride it to
the blue platform (optional: whip the bug to the platform then kill it with a
sword). Wait for another bug to appear and ride it upward to another blue
platform (optional: whip it to the platform and kill it). Then wait for a long
platform to come down and wait on it. When it goes up you will see a lilybug.
Whip to that bug and you'll see three other lilybugs and a switch. You need
to whip your way from bug to bug to reach the switch. When you activate the
switch fall to the top-left of it all the way down to a blue platform. Wait
for two kobolds to appear and slash them twice with the sword to kill them.
Take the key to the box and use the two wisps to make it back up the mountain
to the gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
Do the optional things above of killing lilybugs as it will make it easier to
get back up the mountain. You have to get up the mountian in one try.

This map is unlocked when you get all bronze or higher in Mountain.

Description:
The longfin think they own this hill, but I'm sure you can fix that.

How to Complete:
Start out by whipping the longfin that jumped out of the water into the path
of the right longfin. The right longfin will shoot a projectile killing the
one you placed there. Now whip the left longfin into that same spot, having it
die. Pick up the shield dropped and go towards the keybox to your north (leave
the red longfin alone). You will see a tall crate to the right of the keybox.
Use the sheild to push it down-left one square. Now jump from the keybox to
the top of the crate then onto the skinny blue platform. Go to the very end
of the blue platform and you should see a sheild on a tiny platform below you.
Fall off to the bottom-left and as you're falling push up-right to land on the
shield platform. Pick up the shield and fall off towards the keybox. Go back
up to the skinny blue platform. You will see a switch. Whip it to activate it.
Continue up-left to the edge of the cliff. You will see a wisp above you. Use
that to reach the top where you'll see three yellow longfin. For each of the
three fish, stand in front of them with the shield equiped to kill them. When
they are all dead, go back down to where you jumped up using the wisp. Down to
your left you'll see a platform with a crate on it. Jump to that platform and
push the crate to the bottom-right so it falls down. Now jump down and you'll
see three blue longfin. Using the same strategy that you used against the
yellow longfin, kill these three. Now make your way to the last red longfin
and kill him. Take the key and put it in the box. Go around to where the blue
fish were and jump up (using the box you pushed down) to the moving platform.
From the top of the edge you can reach the wisp you used earlier to get to the
gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
Follow the steps above. But remember that you walk faster with the whip than
with the shield. Don't walk with the shield out.

How to Complete:
Grab the sword. Slash open the two crates to your right and the two on your
left. Pick up a bomb and throw it at the two warlocks on the left (if you
only kill one then pick up another bomb and kill the other). Pick up another
bomb and kill the warlock on the right. Pick up another bomb and continue
past the golem. Throw (or place) the bomb at the two crates on the left,
revealing more bombs and the keybox. Pick up a bomb and continue to the left
side of the pit where you'll see some stairs with a warlock on top. Use the
bomb to kill the warlock. Go back and pick up another bomb. Go to the last
place you killed a warlock and jump to your right (on the platform with the
golem on it). To your right there will be another warlock for you to kill with
your bomb. Now jump back to where the keybox was. There will be a warlock on
the right side. Pick up a bomb to kill him, take the key to the box, and make
your way to the gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
Follow the steps above. Remember to kill the first two warlock in one hit.
Also you can jump from the area with the gate across to the other side without
having to go around to the steps.

----------------------- Map 2 - Taro Walkway 1 [LSH02] -----------------------

Description:
Kobolds and longfin stand guard along this ancient walkway.

Victory Condition: Defeat the enemies in order!

Gold: 0:30

How to Complete:
(Ignore all the white kobolds in this level.) Move forward all the way to the
back and at the right you should see a red sword. Use this to kill the red
longfin. Pick up the dropped lance to kill the blue longfin. He will drop a
yellow bomb which you will use to kill the yellow longfin. Take the key to
the box and exit the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
At this point in the game you should have no problem obtaining gold on this
map.

----------------------- Map 3 - Taro Walkway 2 [LSH03] -----------------------

Description:
Razorbacks on the ground and koballoons in the air. Good luck out there!

Victory Condition: Defeat all koballoons!

Gold: 1:10
Silver: 1:30
Bronze: 3:30

How to Complete:
Walk forward where you will see a shield on the ground. Pick it up and
continue down the lower path where you will see a small box. Push it one
square to the bottom-right. Jump on the box and reach the higher ground.
Follow the path upwards (ignoring the two razorbacks). On your right there
will be a large box. Push it up-right two times to push it where you started
the level. Jump down to the starting point of the level and go bottom-right
until you run into a small box next to a large box. Jump over both of them to
reach another small box. Push that box top-left one space. Use it to reach the
higher ground. Continue past the two razorbacks (push the second one to send
him flying off the cliff). On your left there will be a large box. Push that
box two spaces to the bottom-left (it will be right next to the other large
box you pushed earlier). Now go back up near where the gate was and you'll see
a bomb. Pick it up and make your way back to those two large boxes you pushed.
You will need to wait on (or near) them and watch the shadows of the
koballoons. When the koballoons reach their most north-western point they will
pause for a second. When they pause jump toward them and whip to them and land
on top of one. From on top of them place a bomb (it will kill them both. You
can either take the damage or jump to avoid getting hurt). Take the key and
make your way to the keybox then to the gate (note: if you killed the balloons
when they were north then the key may have fallen in a spot that is impossible
to get to the keybox).

How to Achieve Gold:
The above order is the fastest order of doing things (half the trick is
trial and error to find the fastest order). Remember that carrying your whip
is faster than carrying a shield or a bomb! Unless you're about to use that
shield or bomb, switch to the whip for faster walking speed. When you are
about to kill the koballoons time it so they die when they are over those
two large boxes (this is the trick to getting gold!). Sometimes the balloons
get out of sync so one bomb doesn't kill them at the same time. Don't worry if
this happens as you can blow up one then whip to the other to kill when he's
over the two large boxes.

-------------------------- Map 4 - Colosseum [LSH04] -------------------------

Description:
Eeeep! Looks like you're going to have to fisht your way out of this one.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

How to Complete:
Another easy level. Just pick up the sword and make your way to the golems
in the back. Hit the right one on its left side to try and make it hit the
other two with a missile (don't worry if it misses). Now keep jumping and
slashing the golems until they die. When they are gone focus on the rest of
the enemies. Just go around slashing anyone that can be slashed. When the key
is dropped take it to the box on the right then make your way to the gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
This one is straightforward. Just don't get hit or stunned by the golems (and
definitely don't get hit by a projectile or you'll need to restart).

------------------------ Map 6 - Fighting Pit [LSH06] ------------------------

Description:
This pit isn't big enough for the three of you...

Victory Condition: Defeat both warlocks!

Gold: 0:40
Silver: 1:00
Bronze: 3:00

How to Complete:
Pick up the bomb and move forward. On the floor you should see larger tiles
among the smaller ones. Move to the middle of the second large tile and throw
bomb so they land on the third one. When the bomb goes off it will harm the
two large warlocks. When the bomb goes off wait 1 second and throw another
one. Don't worry about projectiles as they should go right by you. It takes
9-10 hits to kill the warlocks. Take the key to the box and exit the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
This should be easy if you stand in the spot mentioned above. You need to get
the timing down. When your first bomb explodes, throw a second one. If you
notice that the two warlocks are staying out of their invincible frames for
too long then throw your bombs sooner.

------------------------ Map 7 - Royal Sewers [LSH07] ------------------------

Description:
The Escar tribe was known for their technology... and their golems...

Victory Condition: Defeat all kobolds!

Gold: 1:00
Silver: 1:20
Bronze: 3:20

How to Complete:
Start out by grabbing the blue sword. Jump up to your right and whip yourself
up to the golem. Have him shoot you to the top-left, causing you to kill the
blue kobold and land ontop of the red sword. Take the red sword and jump down
onto the path below you. Continue forward and whip your way up to the red
golem. Have it launch you to the bottom-right where you'll kill a red kobold.
Take the yellow sword he dropped and jump down to the path below you. Continue
forward past the yellow golem (don't jump to him). Make your way around to the
other side (past the keybox). You'll see a yellow golem (opposite the first
yellow golem you passed). Jump up to him and make him launch you to the
bottom-right. You will run into two crates and stop at a box. Kill the yellow
kobold using your sword. Take the key to the box and exit the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
The trick is mentioned above: don't use two yellow golems, only use one (the
one on the left).

-------------------------- Map 8 - Treasury [LSH08] --------------------------

Description:
The kobolds seem to have raided the Escar vaults. Let's teach them a lesson!

Victory Condition: Defeat all kobolds!

How to Complete:
Pick up the white sword and make your way to the top-right where you'll see
a blue golem. Stand behind the blue kobold. The golem should be slowly be
making its way toward you. What you are going to do is hit it so it launches
a missile to the top-left into the kobold near you and another blue one (so
wait until the golem is close enough to do that, then it it with the sword.
It will be right in front of a pillar). Now make your way infront of the red
golem. It should be making its way to the right. Hit it so it sends a missile
to the top-left into two red kobolds (so make sure it's in the correct
position). Now go to the left corner of the map and pick up the red sword.
Go kill the last red kobold with it (right corner). Now go to the to top
corner of the map and pick up the blue sword. Go kill the last kobold with it
(located where you started). Take the key and go to the blue golem. Jump on
top of it and then jump onto the wall. From here you will be able to jump to
the ledge with the keybox on it.

How to Achieve Gold:
Just do everything as described above. No need to use the shield to push the
golem to the correct spot to reach the keybox.

------------------------ Map 9 - Lost Gallery [LSH09] ------------------------

Description:
Razorbacks patrol these halls, but they're no match for the Hero.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 1:35

How to Complete:
Start out by follwoing the path. You will see two black razorbacks. For both
of them whip them and place them near the edge on your left. Continue forward
and you'll see a blue razorback. Whip it and place it anywhere to stop it
from rolling around. Stand in the right corner (where that blue razorback was
rolling around. Jump up and look towards the high ground. You should see a
black razorback rolling around up there. Jump and whip toward it to get to the
high ground. When you get up there whip the razorback and place him somewhere
up there to avoid getting run over. On your left there will be some stairs.
Stand on them and wait for a wisp to come down. When it comes down whip it
and continue whipping it to make your way into the air. Another wisp will come
to you. Whip that one and stay with it as it goes to meet another wisp. Whip
that one and follow it until it reaches a platform with a bomb on it. Take the
bomb and switch to the whip. Jump off to the right of the platform. As you are
falling whip the second black razorback you moved in the beginning to reach
the starting area. Now go around the path killing razorbacks. Whip ones that
are moving to stop them before placing bombs near them. The red and blue
razorbacks take two hits to kill. When you are done killing the razorbacks
down below, whip your way to near the gate using that top razorback you moved.
Now kill that one and take the key to the keybox on the left then complete the
level.

How to Achieve Gold:
Follow the steps above which mention the couple of tricks you need. The main
one is getting to the top quickly by using the razorback. The second trick is
jumping from the bomb platform to the starting area quickly using the
second razorback which you should have placed near the edge. Then get to the
gate quickly by using that top razorback again.

----------------------- Map 10 - Grand Ballroom [LSH10] ----------------------

Description:
This place used to be a luxurious dance hall, but not so much anymore...

Victory Condition: Defeat all warlocks!

Gold: 1:20

Bronze: 3:40

How to Complete:
Ok, this can be difficult, so pay attention. Start out by going on the moving
platform and pressing left to fall down in front of the culverin. Pick up the
white sword near the south edge. Use it to kill the right (or sometimes top)
golem (don't get hit by the missile). He will drop a red bomb. Pick it up and
go to your right. You will see a red culverin. Jump in it and have it launch
you up. Press and hold left on the d-pad to safely land on the moving
platform. Use the red bomb to kill the warlock. Pick up the dropped yellow
bombs. Use one to cause the golem to launch you bottom-left. When you land,
use a bomb to kill the yellow warlock. Take the blue bombs he dropped and
use one to make the golem send you to the up-right. Kill the final warlock,
take the key, jump down then use the red culverin to reach the box and the
gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
Don't be afraid of getting hurt. Use the invincibility frames that are caused
from traveling via missiles to hurl a bomb or two. Also when getting the red
bomb don't allow any of the golems to stomp (go wide around them if you have
to).

----------------------- Map 11 - Shifting Hall [LSH11] -----------------------

Description:
This hallway was designed to slow down an invading army's pace.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 0:35
Silver: 0:55
Bronze: 2:55

How to Complete:
Grab the lance and move right next to the moving platform. Charge your lance
and wait for the platforms to line up and pause before you release killing
every enemy. The longfin will drop another lance. Go to the other side and
do the same thing for this set of enemies. Take the key to the box and exit
the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
There's no trick to this level, you should have no problems getting gold.

------------------------- Map 12 - Reservoir [LSH12] -------------------------

Description:
Only the Escar would build a reservoir that's also a trap for intruders.

Victory Condition: Defeat the razorback!

Gold: 0:55
Silver: 1:15
Bronze: 3:15

How to Complete:
Move to the sword and pick it up. Wait for the platform to move up. Hit the
switch when you are close enough. Then jump on the platform in the water (the
wide one closest to the starting point. Wait for it to go up. Jump on the
platform to left when you can and go forward to jump on another platform.
There will be several platforms falling forming a series of steps for you to
go up. When you are close enough jump toward the wisps and whip your way over
to the platform with the door on it. Kill the razorback to get the key and
complete the level. (Note that if you hit the top switch you can reach the
most expensive gem).

How to Achieve Gold:
Since the platforms are timed the only way you can miss getting gold is if you
mess up on the wisps getting to the cliff.

------------------------ Map 13 - Marketplace [LSH13] ------------------------

Description:
Vendors used to line these walls. Now all that remains are empty crates.

Victory Condition: Defeat the correct switch!

Gold: 0:30
Silver: 0:50
Bronze: 2:50

How to Complete:
The correct switch is the first one on the right (so if it runs, pay attention
to where it went). There are at least two other switches you need to activate
to reach the keybox. The two you need to activate are the third one on the
right and the one immediately above the elevated platform which the culverin
is on (you will need to get an angle on it to see it. It will be immediately
below the northernmost switch). After activating the two switches, go grab
the sword in the north corner and find the correct switch. It will probably
have run away to the right corner or along the northeast wall. Take the key
to the box and complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
The only thing you need to do is know which switches to kill and which to
activate.

------------------------- Map 14 - Mausoleum [LSH14] -------------------------

Description:
This chamber is overrun with monsters... Be careful, Hero.

Victory Condition: Defeat all spuddles!

Gold: 0:45
Silver: 1:05
Bronze: 3:05

How to Complete:
Start by holding up on the d-pad to go under where the blue lance is. Whip the
red kobold over to use it as a stepping stone to reach the blue lance. Use
that lance to kill the blue kobold on the left (don't hit a spuddle). Take the
bolt sword and use it to kill the nearest bolt kobold. He will drop a bomb for
you to pick up. Use them to kill each spuddle (leave at least one kobold
alive). When you kill all three take the key and go under where the keybox is.
Whip one kobold over and use its head to reach the keybox. When the gate opens
go through it to complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
Don't use the whip, the kobolds should follow you to go into the correct
position.

----------------------- Map 15 - Pale Corridor [LSH15] -----------------------

Description:
This corridor served as a secret escape route for royalty.

Victory Condition: Destroy all switches!

Gold: 1:05
Silver: 1:25
Bronze: 3:25

How to Complete:
There is only one switch. It is located in to top-right corner. Start out
by going down to where the razorback is rolling around. You will be going
up-left where you'll run into a sword for you to pick up. Farther down the
path you should see a box on top of a crate. Use your sword to destroy that
crate. Then go backwards to where the middle razorback is rolling around.
(You can whip him off the cliff if you want). Stand on the left edge and jump
where you'll see a koballoon or two. You need to whip your way up to one of
them to get in the air. When you are in the air whip your way to the right
koballoon and then land on the high cliff near it. Continue to the right
(watch out for the razorback) and you'll see the switch. Before killing it,
activate it by whipping it. Slash it with the sword and take the key. Now you
will need to make your way to the spot where you destroyed that crate. Use
that first koballoon as a way to whip yourself safely down then walk to the
keybox. When the gate opens you should see a moving platform to you right.
Use that platform to reach the gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
Not much I can say to help. It's mainly about getting lucky and having the
last platform in the correct spot.

------------------------- Map 16 - Courtyard [LSH16] -------------------------

Description:
I wish I had a grand story about this place, but it's just a courtyard.

Victory Condition: Defeat the bolt kobolds!

Gold: 1:05
Silver: 1:25
Bronze: 3:25

How to Complete:
The bolt kobolds are hidden behind the three large crates. You are supposed
to activate the switches to destroy the boxes but you don't need to. Stand
near the box and whip in the direction of it and you will pull the kobold out.
Do this for all three and line them up. Then go get the lance and run through
them twice for a key to be dropped. Take it to the box on the right then go
into the door to complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
The big tip is to not bother with the switches as mentioned above.

------------------------- Map 17 - Stockade [LSH17] -------------------------

Description:
This area is well-guarded, but I know you can get past these runts!

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the spuddles!

How to Complete:
Pick up a weapon and swing away. Don't worry about killing any spuddles unless
you pick up a bomb. After killing all kobolds take the key to the box and
make your way to the gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
Start out by heading straight for the lance. What you will do is kill all
kobolds in two sweeps. The first one from behind the kobold closes to the
lance. You should kill four in this sweep (because three will have followed
you into position). The next sweep should go through the last three ending
with the one closest to the keybox.

----------------------- Map 18 - Ritual Chamber [LSH18] ----------------------

Description:
Nothing says "ritual" like a giant statue...

Victory Condition: Defeat the golem!

Gold: 0:40
Silver: 1:00
Bronze: 3:00

How to Complete:
Pick up the sword and start swinging. Take a stab, go around to avoid the
missile and then hit him again. After several hits he'll drop a key which
you'll know what to do with.

How to Achieve Gold:
Just make sure you don't ever let up. He should be blinking for the entire
course of the level.

---------------------- Map 19 - Proving Ground [LSH19] -----------------------

Description:
This chamber used to be part of the initiation for Escar acolytes.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 1:15
Silver: 1:35
Bronze: 3:35

How to Complete:
Pick up the flail. Jump and whip yourself just over the red enemies. Stand
with your back right up against the kobold and spider and launch your flail
at the kobold and spider in front of you. (Don't worry if you get hit once
or twice.) When you launch the flail it should damage all four enemies. Do
this four times to kill all four enemies (kobolds take two hits, spiders take
four). Now take one of the bombs and lure the yellow spuddle near the red one.
Place a bomb to hit both of them. Do it again to kill them. Now pick up the
other bomb and from a distance throw two of them at the last spuddle (killing
the kobold). Now pick up the flail again and use kill both spiders. Take the
key to the box then complete the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
The above is written for gold time. Just do your jumps correctly when going to
the keybox. Practice if you have to.

------------------------- Map 20 - Barbican [LSH20] --------------------------

Description:
Lilybugs have taken up residence in this tower.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

Gold: 1:15
Silver: 1:35
Bronze: 3:35

How to Complete:
Start out by going to the right and picking up the bomb. Now go back to where
you started and go up the step and you'll see the top blocked by a crate.
Throw a bomb up there to destroy it then go back down the stairs to the middle
of the stage where you will see some wisps down. Whip the wisps and allow
them to carry you up. When you see the lilybugs whip your way onto the red
one. From on top of the red bug you will switch to the bombs and use the
touch screen to touch every white bug you see. You will be able to kill
every white bug from on the top of the red lilybug. When all the white bugs
are dead place a bomb down on the red one. It takes two bombs to kill the red
bug so stay up and take the damage from the first bomb. Place another bomb and
jump down. A key will fall on top of you which you should know what to do

How to Achieve Gold:
The trick is learning you can hit all the enemies from on top of the red bug.
Remember to use the touch screen to hit the bugs easier.

------------------------- Map 21 - Reliquary [LSH21] -------------------------

Description:
I wonder what relics used to be housed in this solemn chamber...

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies!

How to Complete:
Pick up the flail in front of you. From a distance hit the blue golem three
times. Then forward and to the right to pick up another flail (activate
the two switches on your way over). Hit the blue golem again to kill it.
Pick up the bombs dropped. Throw one at each of the two close gray warlocks.
Now place one between the switch and the blue warlock, killing the switch
(make sure the switch is activated before doing so). Now place one between
the other switch and the gray warlock. Throw another bomb at the blue warlock
to finish him off. Now go to the top-most moving platform and follow it to
a switch. Activate the switch then kill it with a bomb. Now go down to finish
off the golems. Take the key and finish the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
Focus on getting the bombs quickly. But don't save the golems for last. Kill
one of the warlocks last.

----------------------- Map 22 - Grand Terrace [LSH22] -----------------------

Description:
This terrace overlooks much of the Escar domain. It's so pretty!

Victory Condition: Defeat the correct switch!

How to Complete:
There are two elevated platforms with cluverins on top. The left one is the
one of interest. You should see two switches in front of it (bottom-right
side). These two need to be activated. After doing so grab the sword.
The switch to kill is behind the elevated area on the left. After killing it
there's a key that appears that you know what to do with.

How to Achieve Gold:
No trick here.

------------------------- Map 23 - Sanctuary [LSH23] -------------------------

Description:
The golems are protecting this hallowed ground.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the kobolds!

Gold: 2:00

How to Complete:
Go north and stand next to the north crate near the red golem. You will need
to move three kobolds. Whip the following three near you: the red one right
in front of the red golem, the red one in the middle, and the blue one near
the blue golem. Jump on one of their heads to reach the top of the crate. Now
whip another one up inorder to reach the flail. After getting the flail, jump
down. With the flail kill all four golems (easiest way is to stand on the head
of a different colored kobold and swing away). When they are all dead, get the
key and make your way to the keybox via the same means you reached the flail.

How to Achieve Gold:
Follow the steps above.

------------------------- Map 24 - Watchtower [LSH24] ------------------------

Description:
It's an old lookout tower. It's so high, it'll be a pain to climb up.

Victory Condition: Defeat the flame koballoon!

How to Complete:
Start out by going to the moving platform. Ride it up and you will see a
koballoon. Whip it to send it to the ground below and jump after it. Whip it
and move him to the left side (near the edge of the level) and one or two
squares closer to where you started the level. Jump on his head and wait for
him to get airborne. When he get to his max height jump onto the previously
unreachable platform (if you find yourself stuck under it, then just jump
and you'll go through it). When the platform gets higher you should see
another koballoon. Whip it down and follow it. Move him over to the right
wall and up one or two squares. Ride him up. You will see a platform that you
can now reach. Jump there and then from platform to platform to reach the
top of the level. From the edge you can jump then whip up to the red
koballoon. Whip him down then grab the sword to kill him. Take the key to the
box and finish the level

How to Achieve Gold:
Follow the above steps.

------------------------ Map 25 - Escar Throne [LSH25] -----------------------

Description:
This place smells like demons...

Victory Condition: Defeat Gertz!

How to Complete:
Go to the right and pick up the flail. Run around in the middle of the map
and wait for a large shadow to appear. This will be Gertz dropping down. Get
out of the way then charge up the flail and hit him. About 3-4 minutes of this
Gertz will be defeated.

How to Achieve Gold:
After picking up the flail go to the left and hang out near the shield. After
each drop down by Gertz and him taking damage from your flail, pick up the
shield and try to hit the warlock projectiles into Gertz (this gets easier
over time as Gertz will eventually launch many fireballs). If you see the
shadow appear, quickly pick up the flail and get out of the way.

------------------------ Map 1 - Kree Shores 1 [LSS01] -----------------------

Description:
Kobold fishermen inhabit these shores. Let's reel them all in!

Victory Condition: Defeat all kobolds!

Gold: 0:40
Silver: 1:00
Bronze: 3:00

How to Complete:
Move forward and make your way to the gate. Whip an enemy to the right side
of the gate and stand on its head. Wait for the platform to come within
jumping distance to get on it. When it reaches its highest point, jump to the
platform with the switch on it (use the wisp to reach it if you need to).
Activate the switch. To your south you should see a wisp appear. Whip to it
and stay with it as it goes to a platform with a gem on it. Jump on that
platform. Now fall down and move directly under the platform you jumped from.
Pick up the blue sword. Move to the blue kobold (if you jump in the water
you will be taken to the main land at the cost of only half a heart or you can
jump on the head of the red longfin). Kill the blue kobold and take the bomb
he dropped. Use this to kill every red kobold. The last one will drop a key
which you will know what to do with.

How to Achieve Gold:
The trick is to get the bombs as quickly as possible. This is done by running
up to the northern most longfin in the beginning and whipping him as he's on
land. Put him near the blue kobold. Walk between the blue kobold and longfin
to cause the fish to launch projectiles at the kobold. Two hits will kill it,
giving you access to the bomb. Now all you need to do is kill the red kobolds.

------------------------ Map 2 - Kree Shores 2 [LSS02] -----------------------

Description:
The southerly breeze has attracted a colony of spinners.

Victory Condition: Defeat the spinners in order!

Gold: 1:20
Silver: 1:40
Bronze: 3:40

How to Complete:
Go forward and to the right you will see a long plank with a switch and a
crate on it. Jump up there and activate the switch. Grab the red flail and
jump to your left. From the lower level (next to the switch), hit the red
spinner with the flail to kill it. Take the green flail that drops. Go to
near the starting area and kill the green spider. Pick up the yellow flail
and kill the yellow spider. Take the flail droped. Now go kill the final
spider (it takes about 6 hits to die). Take the key to the box (it's between
to crates just to your right) then complete the level).

How to Achieve Gold:
Don't let the golems stomp to force you to pause, go wide around them. When
killing the last spider, also kill the golem with the same swing of the flail.
When putting the key into the box, you can stay up on the top area.

------------------------ Map 3 - Kree Shores 3 [LSS03] -----------------------

Description:
It looks like the longfin are taunting those spluddles!

Victory Condition: Defeat the spluddles in order!

Gold: 1:30
Silver: 1:50
Bronze: 3:50

How to Complete:
On your right you will see a longfin that has jumped on land. Wait for the
fish into the water and jump on his head. Ride over to the platform and grab
the red bomb. Now wait for the other longfin and ride it to the northern
island. Kill the spluddle and take the bombs he drops then ride back via the
same two longfins. Kill the yellow spluddle. Take the bombs and kill the last
spluddle. Put the key in the box and travel to the gate via those two fish
again.

How to Achieve Gold:
You can catch the first longfin without having to wait for him to come back
if you hold right on the d-pad and jump onto him. Then from the platform with
the red bomb on it you can kill the red spluddle from a distance by using the
touch screen (this may save you a second).

------------------------ Map 4 - Venus Beach 1 [LSS04] -----------------------

Description:
Sometimes, the sand makes it hard for razorbacks to roll around. Keeeeeee!

Victory Condition: Defeat all razorbacks!

Gold: 1:15
Silver: 1:35
Bronze: 3:35

How to Complete:
Jump on the high ground. Go to the middle tree. Use the wisp to reach the top.
Grab the flail on top. Go around hitting every razorback twice to kill each
one. After they are all dead, go to the start of the level near the large
crate. Ride the green lilybug to the keybox and put the key in. Then ride the
bug back to the land and exit the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
Put the razorbacks in two groups (bottom three and top two) before getting
the flail. Then it will only take four attacks to kill them all and get the
key. You can reach the keybox without using the lilybug. Jump onto the
platform with the gem on it then jump on the other two. On the last platform
jump and whip a lilybug to reach the keybox. When you put the key in jump in
the water to be taken to land quickly.

------------------------ Map 5 - Venus Beach 2 [LSS05] -----------------------

Description:
Keep the koballoons alive so they can prune the palm trees. Now THAT'S heroic!

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the koballoons!

Gold: 1:45
Silver: 2:05
Bronze: 4:05

How to Complete:
Starting out, don't activate the switch. Whip the first two razorbacks to
stop them from rolling around. Now grab the sword. Now you need to jump on the
crate (you can reach it by jumping from the grass) and kill the brown
razorback rolling around up there (whip him to stop him). Take the lance.
Now jump down and kill the first two razorbacks along with the switch. After</pre><pre id="faqspan-3">
that go up and to the left where you will find the final razorback. Kill it
then jump down to the left where the switch is. Activate the switch the kill
it with the lance. Take the key and reach the keybox via the small moving
platform (or just jump in the water to get up). Then make your way back to the
gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
Don't sweat this level. You can beat 1:20 without even trying.

------------------------ Map 6 - Venus Beach 3 [LSS06] -----------------------

Description:
Defeat these two before they can get a tan!

Victory Condition: Defeat both kobolds!

Gold: 0:30
Silver: 0:50
Bronze: 2:50

How to Complete:
Pick up the sword and make your way to the first kobold. Start slashing and
don't stop. When he dies make your way to the other and do the same thing.
Then an all-too-familiar key appears.

How to Achieve Gold:
Pick up the sword and run past the first kobold (he will follow you). Now pick
up the power-up on the floor. This will give you a power boost. Now slash one
kobold then another. Keep slashing them and make sure they stay flashing.

------------------------ Map 7 - Arzal Coast 1 [LSS07] -----------------------

Description:
Lilybugs float high above, casting shadows onto the sands below.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the culverins!

Gold: 1:30
Silver: 1:50
Bronze: 3:50

How to Complete:
Start out by grabbing the sword. Kill the kobold on the higher ground directly
in front of the sword. Then fall down to where the keybox is and head
top-right.  You will see a kobold in the corner. Kill it and take the bomb he
drops. Switch to the whip and jump up on the higher land where a kobold is
running around. You will need to use this kobold to reach the top of the gate.
Stand on the grass next to the gate and whip the kobold on top of you. Jump
down then make your way back up to the kobold's head. Plant a bomb on its head
then jump to the gate. From the bottom-left direction there will be a blue
lilybug. Jump and whip to the top of it (do not miss or you will be stuck - if
you miss a lot then kill that one kobold later). From the top, use the touch
screen to launch bombs at the other lilybugs. There will be three bugs - a
yellow, a red, and a green. When they are dead, place three bombs in a row
on the blue bug (you will take damage, but this is the fastest way to kill
it). When you fall there will be one more kobold running around (most likely
at the area where you killed the one that gave you the bombs). We he's dead,
you'll get a key that you'll know what to do with.

How to Achieve Gold:
The above is a gold medal strategy.

------------------------ Map 8 - Arzal Coast 2 [LSS08] -----------------------

Description:
The longfin have made a nesting ground using driftwood.

Victory Condition: Defeat over 20 enemies!

Gold: 2:00
Silver: 2:20
Bronze: 4:20

How to Complete:
Run past the switch and the two spluddles. Follow the wooden planks past all
the longfin to the sword (you will need to activate one switch along the way).
Once you get the sword you need to kill the closest blue longfin. It will
jump on the wooden plank so wait for him and slash him (it will take about 6
hits to kill him). Take the bomb he dropped and make your way back to the
spluddles. Go to the pink spluddle (not the purple one) and jump on its head
about 20 times to make 20 spluddles appear. Plant a bomb in the middle of the
crowd to kill them (if a key doesn't drop then keep making more spluddles).
When you get the key you know what to do.

How to Achieve Gold:
Before making your way to the sword, whip the blue fish over to the beach
and when coming back whip your way back to the beach via an enemy.

------------------------ Map 9 - Arzal Coast 3 [LSS09] -----------------------

Description:
Spinners can't resist the sweet smell of palm trees. Neither can us fairies!

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the lilybugs!

Gold: 1:20
Silver: 1:40
Bronze: 3:40

How to Complete:
Grab the sword and continue forward. Jump over the water via the three wisps.
On the other side of the water there will be a black spinner. Slash it twice
to kill it. Take the bomb it drops. Continue to the two razorbacks and hit
each of them with a bomb to kill them. Continue forward and kill the yellow
spinner (takes two hits) near the gate. Now make your way back to the start of
the level. Kill the yellow spinner then go down and kill the black one. Put
the key in the box then make your way to the exit.

How to Achieve Gold:
The trick is the order you kill the enemies. Just kill the one the drops the
bombs first, as described above.

------------------------ Map 10 - Dawn Reef 1 [LSS10] ------------------------

Description:
These spluddles moved here because they enjot the golems' earthquakes.

Victory Condition: Defeat the spluddles in order!

Gold: 1:50
Silver: 2:10
Bronze: 4:10

How to Complete:
Go to the right and make your way along the wooden planks to the bomb near
the golem. Pick up the bomb. With it destroy the two large crates near you
and in front of the gate. Then kill the closest spluddle (light yellow).
Pick up the blue bomb it dropped. Make your way back to the beach and on the
way kill the purple spluddle (two hits kills it) and take the red bomb it
dropped. On the beach kill the red spluddle, take the yellow bomb, kill the
yellow spluddle, take the green bomb, kill the green spluddle. Now take the
key to the keybox and finish the level.

How to Achieve Gold:
Use invincibility frames to your advantage. This one is pretty straightforward
has a reasonable time limit.

------------------------ Map 11 - Dawn Reef 2 [LSS11] ------------------------

Description:
The cliff faces form a fort here. We should investigate it.

Victory Condition: Defeat all warlocks!

Gold: 1:30
Silver: 1:50
Bronze: 3:50

How to Complete:
Grab the shield. Stand in front of the red warlock to send his projectile back
at him to kill him. Now make your way up to the higher area and kill
the green warlock. Now go to the left where you will see a cliff you are able
to climb. Go up and stand on the same platform that has the small crate on it.
A yellow warlock will fly over at the same height as you. Kill it as you did
the other enemies (you may have to get close to get its attention). Now stand
on top of the small crate and wait for a blue warlock for you to kill. When
the blue warlock is dead jump up to the highest area (with the switch on it)
and kill the red warlock roaming around up there. Drop the shield down on
one of the lower levels then go back for the key and drop it near the shield.
Pick the shield back up. Jump into the culverin. Land on the platform with the
small crate on it. You will need to push this crate onto the platform you
see directly to your left (the platform that will move if you hit the closest
switch you you). To get it there you can follow these steps - down,
down-right, right, up-right, up-right, up-right, right (this is one of many
ways to get it there). Now you need to jump on the crate then make your way
to the switch (closest one to you). Pick up the key then jump on the crate you
moved to reach the keybox.

How to Achieve Gold:
-Be aggressive with the warlocks. With the first one just run into it with the
shield to get its attention. Don't be afraid of getting hurt.
-Keep the green one alive until the end.
-The yellow one can be killed on either side so don't wait for it.
-Remember you run faster with the whip out compared to the shield.
-Yes, you have to go kill the ones on the left before moving the crate to that
platform. This is because activating the switch will destroy the box you use
as a stepping stone.

------------------------ Map 12 - Dawn Reef 3 [LSS12] ------------------------

Description:
Some wreckage has washed near shore. It won't stay afloat much longer...

Victory Condition: Defeat the golem!

Gold: 0:55
Silver: 1:15
Bronze: 3:15

How to Complete:
Pick up the sword, switch to the whip, and follow the wooden planks to a
switch. Hit the switch. Four wisps will appear above you. You need to use
these to keep in the air as the floor goes into the ocean. When the floor
comes back out of the water you will see a new platform appear. Jump on this
new platform. You will use the wisps in front of you to climb the cliff (the
only way I have ever gotten up this cliff was by using the touch screen, so
get your stylus out). When you get up the cliff two sword slashes to the golem
will kill it (avoid the missile!).

How to Achieve Gold:
Since this is a timed level, the only way to gain/lose time is at the end
where the platform is appearing and going up the wisps. So get up the wisps in
one go and avoid the golem's earthquake.

------------------------ Map 13 - Cape Cyril 1 [LSS13] -----------------------

Description:
The koballoons have built a landing platform high above this inlet.

Victory Condition: Defeat all koballoons!

Gold: 1:40
Silver: 2:00
Bronze: 4:00

How to Complete:
Go to your right, then forward. You will see a razorback near a small
grate. Go to where the razorback is and you will see a moving platform going
up to the gate. You need to whip the razorback onto that platform for later
use. Now make your way on the green land (steps to get up will be near you).
Pass one razorback and continue upwards where you will see a sunken crate
with a razorback running in front of it. Jump on that crate and wait for the
koballoons. Wait until you see two koballoons. Whip your way onto the closer
koballoon (the one that goes left). The koballoon will travel and become close
to a wooden platform. Jump on that platform and get the bomb lying at the end
of it. Go back to where you got on the platform and wait for the the koballoon
to come over to you. Kill it with a bomb. Now make your way back to the
sunken crate (you may have to jump on a lilybug or wisp to make it back to
the main land). From this crate you can find the other koballoon which you
need to kill to get the key. After opening the gate jump to the gate via the
head of the razorback you moved in the beginning.

How to Achieve Gold:
-Move the razorback in position so you can reach the gate.
-Go to the large crate at the top of the hill and wait for the two koballoons.
-Whip the right one down (the one that flys on the right side) when it pauses
in front of the closer one (use the touch screen to hit him). This causes it
to fall down to the left near (or in) a pit of spikes.
-Go down to where it fell (note: if it didn't fall down to the left then just
whip it over to there).
-Whip the razorback out of the way (don't let the koballoon get away, whip him
if he tries to fly).
-Whip the koballoon into the south-most pit of spikes and closes to the water
as possible.
-Jump on its head and ride up.
-It will go to where the bomb is. Jump on that platform right near the bomb.
This will cause the koballoon to drop a bomb on you which both hurts you and
kills itself.
-Take the bomb to the other side to the wooden platform but do not touch the
green land, jump over it. (Jumping over the green saves you time later because
you can jump into the water and get back to the mainland.)
-The other koballoon will come in front of you. Whip twice - once to destroy
the balloon and the other to save him from falling into the water (you may
have to use the touch screen to avoid whipping the lilybug).
-Kill the koballoon, take the key, and then jump into the water. You know what
to do next.

------------------------ Map 14 - Cape Cyril 2 [LSS14] -----------------------

Description:
A lone culverin protects the cape's spinner and spluddle populations.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the culverin!

Gold: 1:25
Silver: 1:45
Bronze: 3:45

How to Complete:
Jump into the culverin and hold left. Grab the bombs then jump on the
moving platform and wait for it to get close to the bottom platform. Jump
on the platform with the repair hammer to get unlimited bombs. Jump down to
lower level. Go around killing each enemy (the spluddles will require you to
tap them with the touch screen). When you get the key, jump in the culverin
and hold up to reach the keybox.

How to Achieve Gold:
-Jump in the culverin and hold left to get the bombs.
-Jump back in the culverin and hold down to get the repair.
-Stand to the south of the spike pits and touch each enemy. While one has
invincibility frames, touch another. You should be able to hit most enemies
from one spot. When you kill all you can, move to hit others.
-Take the key and jump in the culverin.

------------------------ Map 15 - Cape Cyril 3 [LSS15] -----------------------

Description:
The spluddles and longfin are at odds again. Neither side deserves your mercy.

Victory Condition: Defeat over 10 enemies!

How to Complete:
Go forward to make your way on small areas of land connected via wooden
planks. Follow the planks until you see a blue sword across the water. You
will need to ride the head of a blue longfin to reach it. When you grab it go
back to the land you were previously on by riding the longfin back. You
should see a blue longfin jumping in and out of the water. You need to kill
this fish and he will drop red bombs for you. When you get the bombs, go
back over to where you got the blue sword. Go to the right and up the cliff
where you will see a lone spluddle. Jump on its head 9 times to create more.
Plant a bomb in the middle to get a key. No go back to where the blue sword
was. Go to the top-left to find a tall cliff. A koballoon will come down
which you will use to reach the keybox. When the gate is open make your way
to the gate (right corner). You will need to use the wisp to get to the top.

How to Achieve Gold:
-Get to the sword and kill the correct longfin to get the red bomb.
-Make multiples of the top spluddle to kill.
-Take the key to the keybox via koballoon.
-Jump down and walk to the gate.

------------------------ Map 16 - Raza Strand 1 [LSS16] ----------------------

Description:
A small chain of islands is located just offshore. Beware of currents!

Victory Condition: Defeat all longfin!

Gold: 2:30
Silver: 2:50
Bronze: 4:50

How to Complete:
Whip the wisp and make your way to the island with the razorbacks on it. Then
whip the wisp in front to reach the shield. Grab the shield. Now whip your way
onto the green lilybug flying in front of you. When it goes to the left, jump
on the platform with the yellow fish on it (he may be hidden underground for a
second). When the fish pokes his head up, stand in front of him with your
shield out as the fish shoots projectiles and kills itself. Then jump on the
lilybug to the lower-left and go in a anti-clockwise circle around the level
killing all the longfin. After picking up the key, continue in an anti-
clockwise manner to reach the keybox, then back to the gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
After getting the shield,
Go in this order
-Top yellow longfin
-Right yellow longfin
-Bottom blue longfin
-Left blue longfin
After opening the door, whip the lilybug and put it in a spot where you are
able to reach the island with the razorbacks on it. Then use the wisp to
reach the door.

------------------------ Map 17 - Raza Strand 2 [LSS17] ----------------------

Description:
A small coral reef will lead you to the rocky cliff out at sea.

Victory Condition: Defeat the kobolds in order!

Gold: 2:10
Silver: 2:30
Bronze: 4:30

How to Complete:
Grab the blue lance and use it to kill the blue kobold. Take the green bombs
he drops and go back to the beach to kill the green kobold. Pick up the flail
he drops. Walk through the water and face the (unreachable) area with the
brown kobold on it. Whip the kobold over to you and use the flail to kill it.
Take the sword and make your way to the culverin. Have the culverin launch
you up and land on the yellowish platform above the brown platform. From here
jump onto the moving platform and then to the area in front of the gate. On
the right there will be a wisp which you will use to reach another small
platform. From here you will take another wisp to reach the keybox and final
kobold. Kill it with the sword and open the gate. Then jump down and into the
culverin again to reach the gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
If you are having trouble with this, try jumping into the water when you
open the gate so you get carried closer to the gate (though this technique is
not necessary).

------------------------ Map 18 - Raza Strand 3 [LSS18] ----------------------

Description:
Two large spinners have washed ashore.

Victory Condition: Defeat both spinners!

Pick up the sword and slash away.

Hit both at the same time. This type of map should be fairly easy by now.

The rising tide created a number of small islands in the bay.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the spinners!

How to Complete:
Whip the switch then pick up the sword. Kill the switch. Activate the switch
sitting on a small island in the middle then jump on the moving platform
and kill the switch you activated. Wait until the platform is on the right
side. Go to the right and activate the last switch then kill it and take the
flail it drops. Now make your way right via the moving platform to the
three razorbacks. Kill each with the flail and take the key. Continue up the
cliff where you'll see a spinner. Jump on its head to reach the gate. On the
right of the gate you'll be able to jump and whip your way to the keybox.
When the gate opens go down and back up to the gate the same way you got there
the first time.

How to Achieve Gold:
See above.

------------------------ Map 20 - Landis Bay 2 [LSS20] -----------------------

Description:
You may need to venture out to sea to get rid of shore's menaces.

Victory Condition: Defeat the spluddles in order!

Gold: 1:30
Silver: 1:50
Bronze: 3:50

How to Complete:
Go up and a little to the left and you'll see a lillybug flying in front of a
small strip of land with a blue spluddle on it. Whip onto that bug. Jump off
onto the blue bomb. Using the touch screen, whip the blue spluddle over to
where you are, pick up the bomb, and kill it. Take the red bomb he dropped and
go left. Jump up to the platform to the north and go to the red spluddle and
kill it. Take the bomb he drops. Go right and on the last wooden platform you
will see a lilybug. Use this lilybug to reach the beach. From the beach,
kill the yellow spluddle (the one closest to the gate), take the bomb he
drops, and kill the last spluddle. Take the key and whip your way onto the
first lilybug. From there, whip to the lilybug on the left then onto the
wisp to reach the top platform. Continue right, jump on a moving platform,
then to the final one with the keybox on it. When the gate is open, there
will be a lilybug nearby to take you to a small platform, then to another
lilybug which will drop you to the beach.

How to Achieve Gold:
Ok, this one's a doosey... Possibly the hardest to figure out the gold medal
technique so far. Here it is step by step. I won't write obvious things such
as "pick up the bomb/key it dropped" etc.

-Whip your way onto the lilybug (the one that flies near the blue spluddle).
-Jump off to where the blue bomb is.
-Whip over the blue spluddle (using the touch screen) to the platform you're
on. Pick up the bomb and kill it.
-Now continue to the very right of the plank you're standing on. Whip the
red spluddle over to you and kill it.
-Jump into the water to quickly get to the beach.
-Go to the bottom-left side of the spiked pit to see the yellow spluddle.
Kill it (using the touch screen - if the spluddle is not at its stopping
point, whip it to stop it from moving).
-Do the same for the last spluddle.
-Go to the rightmost point of the beach (closest to the water). Whip your way
up to the lilybug hidden way in the air. (Note: this may take practice. You
can see the bug's shadow on the ground and you cannot whip your way to him if
you're directly under it, you need to be to the side)
-Get to the keybox but do not open it by jumping on it. Open it by touching it
from the wooden walkway (don't touch the grass that the keybox is sitting on).
After you open the keybox, jump into the water to get to the beach quickly.

------------------------ Map 21 - Landis Bay 3 [LSS21] -----------------------

Description:
Four golems stand as sentries around the swirling eddy.

Victory Condition: Defeat all enemies except the switches!

Gold: 3:30
Silver: 3:50
Bronze: 5:50

How to Complete:
Above the first golem in the water will be a hard to see blue sword. Pick it
up and activate the nearest switch. Go along the wooden plank to reach the
right corner of the map (need to use a wisp). Activate the switch and go on
the platform that just appeared. Use the wisp to get to the middle area with
the two spiders. Grab the power-up then kill the two spiders. Grab the red
flail that appeared and go back to where you started and kill the two golems
along the way. When they are both dead, go back to the middle and pick up
the yellow flail. Then take the lower-left wisp to reach the wooden platform.
Activate the switch in the left corner and kill the golem. Then go north
and take the wooden plank to another golem and switch to kill and activate.
Take the key and stand on the right of the beach and whip your way onto the
wisp you see. After opening the gate, take the lower-left wisp to make your
way back to the gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
The time for this is so ridiculously easy. You can mess up a couple of times
and still get a gold. I got this on my first time and didn't even try.

----------------------- Map 22 - Porto's Isle 1 [LSS22] ----------------------

Description:
This island supports a very delicate ecosystem. We should disturb it!

Victory Condition: Defeat over 20 enemies!

Gold: 2:30
Silver: 2:50
Bronze: 4:50

How to Complete:
Go to the left near the water and you'll see a wisp. Use this wisp to cross
the water and onto a platform. Go to the end and pick up the green flail. Now
stand on the green part of the platform (the one closest to the middle island
and not the one with the flail on it). Wait for a lilybug to fly across on the
middle island and whip over to it. Now pick up the power-up in the middle and
use the flail to kill the right most green spider. Now take the bomb he drops
and go to the beginning of the level. Jump on the spluddle's head to multiply
him and keep killing the multiples with bombs until a key comes out. Then
go to the box via the first wisp and back to the gate using that wisp.

How to Achieve Gold:
This one is easy, just follow above.

------------------------ Map 23 - Porto's Isle 2 [LSS23]----------------------

Description:
The outskirts of the island are filled with deadly razorbacks.

Victory Condition: Defeat the razorbacks in order!

Gold: 2:40
Silver: 3:00
Bronze: 5:00

How to Complete:
Pick up the lance. Ride the longfin across the level. Continue down to the
green razorback. On the left is a platform in the water, follow it past
another razorback. Follow the green path up to the red razorback. Kill it.
Take the weapon it dropped and kill the blue razorback.  Take the lance he
drops and continue back to kill the next razorback. Take the bombs he drops
and use it to kill the green razorback. Take the key to the box and go back
to the gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
You can whip over to the first longfin instead of waiting for it.

----------------------- Map 24 - Porto's Isle 3 [LSS24] ----------------------

Description:
Let's use some driftwood to leave that island and return to shore!

Victory Condition: Defeat only razorbacks using weapon affinity!

Gold: 2:00
Silver: 2:20
Bronze: 4:20

How to Complete:
You have to kill razorbacks with the same colored weapon. Move to the keybox
and pick up the blue lance. Now whip the razorback you just passed down to
near the keybox. To your north you should see a lilybug. Use this lilybug
to reach the right platform and kill the razorback rolling around. Now use
the same lilybug (or the wisp) to reach the other side and kill that blue
razorback to kill. Now stay on the sand and go to the north. You will run into
an unclimbable edge. Jump and whip toward the razorback in the back. You
will be able to get to the top of the cliff doing so. Kill the last blue
razorback and take the bombs he drops. Using the touch screen, tap both
razorbacks on the left and right. Now jump onto the wooden platform and go
toward the keybox. Use a wisp or lilybug to reach the keybox and kill the
razorback you left there. Take the key to the box and make your way to the
gate.

How to Achieve Gold:
The trick of getting to the last blue enemy is described in the steps above.
When you open the gate, jump into the water and you'll be transported back
to the sand near the gate. With these two steps you'll break 1:30 easily.

------------------------- Map 25 - Sun Garden [LSS25] ------------------------

Description:
This place smells like demons...

Victory Condition: Defeat Gertz!

Gold: 2:30
Silver: 2:50
Bronze: 4:50

How to Complete:
Pick up the flail. Stand in front Gertz's and charge up, when he gets
in front of you, hit him. He will jump in the air, which means you need to
get out of the shadow and hit him when he falls down. When you get enough
hits on him, Gertz will charge you sometimes. Avoid the charge and wait for
a normal attack to hit him.

How to Achieve Gold:
Don't allow him to jump up as often. Hit him while he's about to jump up to
minimize time.

This map is unlocked once you get all bronze or above in Seashore.

Description:
Warlocks hunt along the shoreline. Now it's THEIR turn to be hunted...
