I. Introduction
==================
Rondo of Swords/Itsuwari no Rondo is a turn-based strategy RPG, copyrighted and
developed by Success/Fun Unit, and is licensed to and published by Atlus
U.S.A. Inc.
This guide was written by me, Kikuichimonjii at GameFAQs. This is my first
guide, and as with many firsts, may contain errors and mistakes. If you
see any mistakes, have any questions, or would like to suggest something, my
email is at the top, feel free to contact me at any time. This guide was
written to provide a complete list of items in Rondo of Swords, and also to
clarify the effects of poorly explained items/equipment.
Well, enough talk, scroll down to begin using this guide.
=====================================
II. Basics of Items and Equipment
=====================================
In Rondo of Swords, up to four items and four pieces of equipment can be
equipped on a character. Items fall into four main categories:
HP/MP recovery
MC (Momentum Counter) gauge increasers/reducers
OB (OverBreak) gauge increasers
Job change proofs/seals
There is also the small group of bullion items, which are only used for selling
on errands. Equipping an item allows a character to use it once in battle.
After using it, it is gone forever unless you retry the battle. To use an item,
select a character before he or she has moved and choose the "Item" option from
the menu that comes up. Please note, though job change items and bullion items
can be equipped, they cannot be used in battle.
Equipment falls in five main categories, with a few exceptions:
HP/MP modifiers
Stat modifiers
Elemental spell resistance boosts
Status effect prevention/recovery
Passive HP/MP recovery
Unlike items, a piece of equipment only needs to be equipped for a character to
receive its effect.
I have listed items/equipment in the following format, in alphabetical order:
#. Name of item
In-game description
Selling price
-Usage
What I have not included is how to obtain items, as there are way too many ways
to obtain items for me to check. Some items are given randomly as rewards for
Complete or Overwhelming Victories, which are based on how fast you complete a
stage, while other items can only be obtained through quests, or by shopping. A
few others can be found by defeating certain enemies, and some are hidden on
the map, obtainable by moving a character onto the tile.
