Introduction

Hi, my name is Ryan aka Sonictrainer and this is the fifth guide I’ve posted
online. I made this guide so people could unlock dungeons, get new recruits,
and other things in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. This is also
somewhat of an item FAQ as well.

I’ve heard there’s a Wondermail Generator for this game now. However, please
don’t send me any AR generated or Wonder Mail S codes created from this
generator.

Still collecting Wondermail data and giving people credit for posting it.

1. Background Info
-------------------------------------------
Wondermails are missions that Pokemon Exploration Teams take in order to help
other Pokemon in need. As teams complete missions they gain more items,
experience, and become more recognized to the world and other teams. As you
work as apprentices in Wigglytuff’s Guild, missions will become more and more
complex and greater.



2. Wondermail Basics
--------------------------------------------
There are a few things that have changed about Wonder Mail S.



Changes
===========================
First off, Wondermail from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Darkness
will not work in this game. That’s why the Wondermail is called Wonder Mail S.

Also, there are now 4 ways of getting Wondermail ingame.
-the Job Bulletin Board inside the guild
-the Outlaw board near the Job Bulletin inside the guild
-Pokémon that appear to the left of the entrance when you go inside Spinda’s
Café
-when you head to the beach, sometimes a bottle will appear. Inside will be a
mission



Restrictions
===========================
There are some rules for using Wondermail in the game.

-you can only hold 8 Wondermail Codes at a time
-If you haven’t unlocked the dungeon, you can’t go there
-when you reach Diamond Rank, you’ll get missions that have restrictions that
require certain Pokemon on your team
-when you reach the Gold Rank, you’ll get missions that have restrictions that
require a certain type of Pokemon on your team
-if you have a Wonder Mail Mission Active, you will not be able to reach the
rest stop or final floor of a dungeon.



Types of Missions
===========================
There are few additions to the types missions you’ll receive in Sky. Pay
attention to the Mission Descriptions when choosing missions so you can
prepare ahead. Also, pay attention to the message “


Pokémon Rescue- The old, regular mission you’ll receive. Basically, you go
inside the dungeon, go to the floor that the Pokémon is on, find them, and
talk to them.

Find the missing Pokémon- same as the “Pokémon Rescue” missions except you
won’t know which floor the Pokémon is on until you reach it.

“Bodyguard”- (after reaching Bronze Rank) - Escort the client through the
dungeon, go to the floor that the Pokémon is on, find them, and talk to them.
You’ll need to have space so the client can join your team.

Trailblazing- (after reaching the Bronze Rank) - escort the client to the last
floor of the dungeon. You’ll need to have space so the client can join your
team. These missions are only for the unlockable dungeons.

Explore Together- (after reaching Gold Rank) - escort client to a specific
floor of a dungeon. You’ll need to have space so the client can join your
team. Once you reach the floor, the mission is complete.

Sightseeing- same as “Explore Together” missions except the destination floor
is unknown.

Treasure Hunting- escort with Client to the destination floor of a dungeon and
look for an item. You’ll need to have space so the client can join your team.
Once you find it and grab it, mission accomplished. The item you’re looking is
kept by you and is normally rare.

Sealed Chambers (after reaching the Diamond Rank) - similar to “Treasure
Hunting” missions, but you won’t get the item after you’ve found it for. See
Section 12 for more info on Sealed Chambers.

Golden Chambers (after reaching the Diamond Rank and beating the game) –
similar to “Explore Together” missions except that the destination floor is
special. See Section 13 for more info on Golden Chambers.

Item Seeking- find a specific item within a dungeon to complete the mission.
You can also bring the same item with you before entering the dungeon and then
leave to complete it.

Item Delivery- similar to “Pokémon Rescue” missions, except you need to be
carrying a specific item and give it away in order to complete the mission.

Single Arrest- Go inside a dungeon, find the outlaw Pokémon, and defeat it to
complete the mission. Outlaw’s stats are determined by the difficulty of the
mission.

Team Arrest- similar to “Single Arrest” missions but the Outlaw Pokémon is
traveling in a group.

Monster House- similar to “Team Arrest” missions, except the Outlaw Pokémon is
always in a Monster House when found.

Pursue Fugitive- similar to “Single Arrest” except once the Outlaw is found it
will try to run away. If you don’t defeat them before they reach the stairs,
you’ll fail the mission.

Assist Arrest- similar to any of the “Arrest” missions except Magnemite or
Magnezone will accompany you as you try to take down an Outlaw.

Catch Thief- Similar to the arrest missions, except the Outlaw will drop an
unusable item after being defeated. Pick it up to complete the mission.

Catch Fugitive- a combination of the “Pursue Fugitive” and “Catch Thief”
missions.

Identity Unknown- similar to “Catch Thief” missions except the Pokémon is
unknown. Once you reach the destination floor, you’ll have to look for
specious Pokémon or Pokémon that don’t normally appear in that dungeon.

Treasure Memo- missions where you can obtain a Treasure Box, but won’t know
the location of the treasure. See Section 11 for more info on Treasure Memos.

Challenge- certain Pokémon may challenge your team to a battle inside certain
dungeons. See Section 14 for more information on Challenge Missions.


IMPORTANT NOTES: On missions when your clients join you, you cannot change
your Client’s tactics or moves.





3. Rescuing Friends
-------------------------------------------
Need Rescuing for a change? Have a friend that needs rescuing? Although it may
seem pointless, it actually prevents teams from losing their items and Poke
that they got during the mission. Not only that but you can have more than 8
Friend Rescue Missions and collect Rank points and collect more items at the
same time. Item Rewards are random though, so you may be rewarded an Apple or
a Leaf Stone!




4. Dungeons
-------------------------------------------
This is the list of all the dungeons in the game. Most of the dungeons will be
unlocked by playing the story while some of them can only be unlocked through
Wondermail and other methods. After you’ve beaten the game and rescued Scizor
from Crevice Cave, you’ll be given the Secret Rank. Now, you will receive
missions that

certain Pokémon. Most of them can be found inside chests or traded at

11. Treasure Memos
-------------------------------------------
After a certain point in the game, if you head towards the beach, a Krabby
will tell you that Bottles have washed on shore sometimes. What’s inside the
bottles are missions. However, there is one type of mission that can only be
found inside Bottles on the beach: the Treasure Memos. They don’t show the
dungeon the treasure is located in but they give you a hint that’ll help you
if you check the map. Be careful once you reach the floor that the Treasure is
on because it’s normally filled with traps.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Bring a Mobile Orb, Mobile Scarf, or Key to get the treasure,
because it may be inside of a wall.
