Hello once again.  This time I'm working on Nostalgia, an new RPG with a
"Steampunk" feel.  If you're looking for a new, cutting edge RPG, this isn't
it.  This game, while it doesn't really introduce anything new, will rehash the
old elements into a new, interesting story with memorable gameplay.

/Hints and Tips/
===============================================================================
- Stand your ground
    This game is very level driven.  To learn new skills, increase HP and gain
    strength / Magic, this game requires you to level up.  The only way to do
    so is to battle.  Almost all of the battles in this game are entirely
    optional, as you can escape with the run command, but battles are the only
    way you have of gaining EXP, which you need to level up your characters,
    SP, which you need to upgrade skills, and it is your most reliable way for
    quick monetary income, which you need for weapons, armor, and items. If
    you have to run, then by all means, haul out of there, but don't do it
    unless absolutely necessary.

- Quest
    The quests in this game are accepted in the Adventurer's Guilds around the
    world.  They each reward you with either a good bit of money or a good
    item.  They are all optional, so I will not outline them within the guide
    itself, but I have set them up in a seperate section near the end.  Just
    search for the name of the quest to find the mini-walkthrouh for it near
    the end.

- Explore
    I can't promise that I will cover everything in this game, I'm only human.
    I will try to guide you to every treasure, but i'm not here to hold your
    hand.  If you feel that you need to level a bit more before you fight a
    boss, feel free, it's up to you.  If you want to go a different way than I
    reccomend, feel free.  I simply give you the most direct route to the end
    of the dungeon while still snagging up the treasure.  If you don't agree
    with me, do it your own way, that's what makes gaming fun after all.

- Forge Your Own Path
    I will often tell you about the weapons you need to equip so that you have
    the best of the best at the time, but this game is about setting your own
    path.  If you want an airship weapon that is a little weaker but has a
    different element, feel free.  This is a walkthrough, not the written law
    for this game.
____________
/Walkthrough/
===============================================================================
Our story opens with a scene.  After it's over (you can skip them with start,
but you may miss story elements) we get control of our adventurer.

Don't get attached to this one, we won't have him long.  Head down the circular
staircase and outside.  Here we get our first boss battle.  Just use Dividing
heaven twice and it'll end the battle.  After the battle, we get a beautiful
cutscene and our opening credits.

__________
/Chapter 1/ On the Slaying of Rats
===============================================================================
After the scene and credits, we arrive in London.  Here we meet Eddie, your
main character of this game.  After the scene, we have a bit of work to do.

o========o
London
o========o

To start with, press the X button to open your menu.  Here select the wrench
icon and change B button settings to walk and message display to full.  This
will save some wear and tear on your B button and some time during those long
conversations.  Now, as you head out of your house, press A in front of the
couch in the lobby for a strength shard.  Now continue out of the mansion.

Go to the house on your left and climb the stairs outside.  In the left corner
of the balcony, you'll find an HP shard.  Now, exit the screen to the East.
Here we get a scene and arrive in London proper

The map symbols are, for the most part, rather self explanatory.  Just explore
them a bit until you get the hand of it.  Note that if I refer to something
called "The Guild" it's simply the Adventurer's Association.  Our first stop is
the armor shop.

Here, we just need a set of Gauntlets for Eddie.  While you're here though,
pick up a set of iron gloves and a bandanna as well.  Don't equip the bandanna,
just leave the armor shop now.  Head to the Guild.  As you approach you will
run into a girl in a wheelchair.  Though she doesn't reveal it now, her name is
Magi.  More on her later.

Now, head into the Guild and talk to the receptionist.  After you finish your
conversation, Head out of the Guild and walk over to the fountain in the center
of town.  In the planter just beside the girl in yellow, you'll find a heal
bottle.

Now, exit to the east.  Here, there are two more icons.  The genie lamp looking
icon is the item shop and the Bottle is the Pub. (or Bar) The item shop is our
next stop.  I suggest you sell all of your heal bottles. they don't mean much
when we can fully restore HP at save points.  When you're ready, head north.

Beside the pub you'll see two dumpsters.  The bottom one has a flee stone in it
which you can sell, we won't need it.  Now, head down the stairs in the north
part of the town, you'll get into a conversation with a little girl.  After the
chat, examine the blue door to open it and then head inside.

o===============o
London Sewers
o===============o

It's our job to rid the sewer of monster rats and at the same time, find Pad.
To begin, head to the end of the path and then follow it south for a treasure
chest containing 500 gold.  Now, go north a bit until you see a switch.  Press
it to lower the water level.  Cross the path.  It was here that I first leveled
up. It will ask you if you'd like to learn how to advance your skills.  Just
follow the tutorial and be sure to do this often, as you collect SP (Skill
Points) from battles.

Now, continue around the path and you'll get a scene.  Here we find a young man
fighting five rats.  How he's having problems, I'll never know, but we'll help
him out.  Pad joins us for this fight, so just attack over and over again until
all the rats die.  After the battle, we go our seperate ways.  Save your game,
pick up the chest for two heal bottles and head out.  Continue a few steps east
for a scene.  After it's over, battle time:

___________________
* Boss: Monster Rat *
*********************==========================================================
Have Eddie increase his attack with overdrive and then attack every turn.  Have
Pad attack each turn and heal if needed with the heal bottles you just picked
up.  You can use his skill if you want, but it's next to worthless.  About four
turns in or so, the rat should fall.
===============================================================================

After the battle, a brief scene and we now have Pad as a permanent member.  use
the HP shard on him, and equip the gloves and bandanna we bought earlier.  Now,
it's time to head out.  Make your way back to the exit, touching the save point
on your way out.

o========o
London
o========o

Back in London proper, hit the Guild again and report your job complete.  Now
that we're adventurers, we have access to the quests.  Talk to the receptionist
again and choose accept quest if you want to finish quest one now.  If you want
details on how to finish this quest check the quest section

Either way, after you're done, head to the airship dock (head straight south of
the Guild)  Here we'll meet Evans, who will give us our airship.  Turns out its
broken a little, but it still works enough for our purposes.  You'll be given
a battle tutorial.  I suggest you work through the tutorial, just because it
makes this battle much easier.  Save your game when you're done.
__________
/Chapter 2/ To the skies
===============================================================================
Point your airship south and take off. you'll come to Merveille Village. Drop
in there.

o===================o
Merveille Village
o===================o

We'll be back here for story purposes later, but for now, just exit to the east
and take a look around town.  Head to the inn, item shop, and the large
building in the northern part of town for an old paper, antidote, and unicorn
horn, respectively.  The old paper is the important one.  sell off the antidote
and unicorn horn and then head back to London.

o========o
London
o========o

In the top floor of the Guild, talk to the guy here and have him appraise the
old paper for you, you'll get a Scroll of the Dead.  This piece of equipment
grants extra damage against the undead.  Equip it to Eddie, as undead are the
majority of the enemies we encounter in the next dungeon.

Now head back to the airship dock and talk to the leftmost man behind the desk.
Buy the upgrade plate one, the delta shield, and about twenty mechanics tools.
These are your only way to heal the airship for a long time, so put them to
good use.  Talk to the guy on the right to equip new airship parts to your
airship, do so to equip the shield.  now, head to Cairo, it's just a bit more
south than Merveille Village

o=======o
Cairo
o=======o

Here, we'll get a scene.  Talk to everyone standing around and you'll come
across a guy who says there's an adventurer in the pub who may know where your
father went.  First, look around town for a mechanics tool, heal bottle, and a
silver chalice.  now, hit the weapon shop and buy new weapons for Eddie and Pad
both.  You can sell the heal bottle and silver chalice, odds are you won't need
them, and money may be a bit tight.  Hit the armor shop and purchase a turban
and a gunman hat.  Equip to Eddie and Pad respectively, and then head into the
bar.

Here, talk to the woman in the northeast corner.  Her name is Shirley and she
tells you that your father was in the pyramid.  She also gives you a key.  Head
a bit south in your airship for the pyramid.  Land there.

o=========o
Pyramid
o=========o

Again, we get a scene.  When walking in here, beware the cracked floors, they
will collapse, putting you a long way out of your way.  Just walk around them.
Take the first right as you walk down the main hall for a set of chests.  Open
them for two heal bottles and a sacrifice doll.  Continue down the path and
take the next right for another heal bottle.  Continue down the path and insert
the Pyramid Key to cause a door to open.  Walk through to meet our first Korol,
Flaum.  These guys hang out in dungeons and are random from one playthrough to
the next.  Just use thier services if you want, if not, ignore them.  Just head
down the stairs.

Follow the path until you run from the boulder.  Just continue straight and hug
the left wall.  You'll eventually come to a point where the path opens up, run
to the left quickly and let the boulder pass by.  Continue down the stairs for
a long path with coffin on the side.  As you pass them, they will expel a set
of three zombies.  To kill them easily, use Eddie's Combo Attack, if he's got
it yet.  Heal between battles with the heal bottles we found earlier if needed.
After the first one, you'll recieve "The chamber key"  Sounds useful.  At the
end of the path you'll find a fork in the path.  Head south for a mechanis tool
and then head north to the next screen.  Here we come to a save point.

Save points in this game mean a boss is coming up.  Be sure that Eddie has the
Scroll of the dead, and that he knows Combo Attack.  Level Combo attack to lv 3
and Overdrive to level 5. Then save your game.  Open the door with the chamber
Key and then head in.  After a short scene, it's battle time.
______________
* Boss: Pharoh *
****************===============================================================
If you followed my advice earlier, this battle is a joke.  Set up Eddie with
Overdrive and then combo attack each turn.  Have Pad just attack.  Two combo
Attacks should be enough to finish it.
===============================================================================

When the battle's over, head back to the save point, save, and then head
through the passage that opened.  A scene.  After it's over, head around to the
south.  Here will be a set of shelves.  In between the two bottom shelves is a
chest.  Open it for a Mechanics tool.  Go back to where you entered the room
and head up the ladder.  Here, go around the path for a set of chests with a
chain coat and warp stone.  Touch the sparkly thing at the top of the ladder
for a scene, then use the warp stone to exit the pyramid.

If you want to level up or complete the map for this area, now's a good time.
Head back in and fall through the northernmost floor. (just before you put the
key in the slot) Here, you'll get a scene.  Hit the switch to your right and
then go through the door for a leather jacket.

__________
/Chapter 3/ She's a Witch!
===============================================================================
back to Cairo.

o=======o
Cairo
o=======o

As you enter you'll automatically get a scene.  When you're done, head back to
the bar and talk to the guy next to the counter.  He tells you to get your ship
upgraded in Merveille Village.  Head back there and into the large northern
building.  Talk to the Elder here for a scene.  After it's over, head back to
your airship.  You'll get another scene.  At the end of it, Melody joins the
Party.  Now, it's time to head to a new area.  Head to the south of the pyramid
and follow the shoreline.  As you come out of the sandstorm area, you'll find a
scene and a battle.

_________________
* Boss: Esperanza *
*******************============================================================
The lovely red-clad lady is Scarlett.  The Esperanza is her airship.  Just
keep on hitting her for all you're worth (not that you have a lot of choice at
this point) and she'll fall about ten or eleven turns into it.  If something
goes wrong and you need to heal (she criticals you a lot) then have Fiona throw
a set of mechanics tools.
===============================================================================

After the battle, heal up if you need to and save the game.  Continue to follow
the coastline until you arrive in Cape Town.

o===========o
Cape Town
o===========o

Here, buy a new set of weapons, a sheild, and the upgrade plate.  Now head into
the town proper.  Here, buy a new set of weapons and upgrade everyone's armor.
Also, look around town for a  unicorn horn, super heal bottle, and stamina
shard.  Sell the horn and bottle, but use the stamina shard on Melody.

Now, take off, continuing around the path and keeping the land to your right.
You will find an opening in the mountains to your right.  Head into there and
land at the Eterna Mines

o==============o
Eterna Mines
o==============o

After a scene, make your way around the path until you come to a wooden
platform.  Head down the linear path until you get your first option to branch
off.  Head to the left, down the path and into the cavern entrance.  Make your
way to the branch in the path.  Open the chest for a heal bottle and then go
south.  Follow the path for a Gladius.  Equip it to Eddie and make your way
back to the wooden path.  At the next fork, head south for another caveren
entrance.

Open the chest for a mint candy and continue down the path to the left.  Open
the chest for 1000g.  now return and go right for another chest containing a
Sunlight item (cures darkness)  Now return to the wooden path and follow it to
the ground floor.  Open the chest here for an old clock, another unapraised
gear.  Now, head right for the save point.  Save your game and enter the cavern
entrance.  Here, make your way to the fork and go right for a warp stone.  Go
up the north path for another fork.  Head left for another stamina shard.

Head back to the last fork and head right this time.  Follow the path for the
Eterna Crystal we came here for.  Yep, that easy, no big battle, no guard, just
the crystal.  Use the warp stone from earlier to jump out of here.

Head back to Merveille Village.

o===================o
Merveille Village
o===================o

Here, you'll get a scene.  Head in the direction of the elders house for
another scene and a battle.  I won't make a seperate section for this one, as
it's just a storyline based battle.  Have Pad random shot and Have Eddie Combo
Attack.  Have Melody just attack.  Eventually he'll call the fight prematurely.
Get used to it, we'll have to fight Hartman Several times before it's all over.

After the battle, Melody joins permanently and we're supposed to head to The
Tower of Babel.  Not just yet though.  Hit London first.
__________
/chapter 4/ Save the girl
===============================================================================

o========o
London
o========o

Here, appraise your new item, Shop for new weapons / items, and complete all
quests up to this point if you haven't already (optional, but reccomended).
I also reccomend that you purchase one or two warp stones, for use in the
quests and an upcoming dungeon, but if you prefer to walk, that's your choice.

All done?  Head to Cairo, but don't land.  Instead, fly east to the small
indention in the mountain.  Head up to mid altitude and fly over, then go back
to low altitude immediately.  Save before you head into the tower.

o================o
Tower of Babel
o================o

We open with a scene, afterwards, enter the tower.  another short scene and we
get control.  Head up the stairs on the left and hit the switch.  Cross the
path that opens and go upstairs for another scene.   Continue down the path and
open the chest for 2000G.  Head left and hit the switch.  Go up the stairs and
hit the switch there.  Now go back down the stairs and back to the 2000g chest.

Just south of here is another Korol.  Again, these are random, so if yours does
something good, use it, if not, just ignore it.  When you're finished with it,
pick up the leather cloak in the chest and equip it to Melody.  Now, make your
way back to the first platform you dropped when you came into this room.  Cross
it and hit the switch on the other side to raise it again.  Make your way back
up the stairs and raise the platform again.

Walk across the platform and up the stairs to the next floor.  Here, ride the
platform and press a switch.  Ride the platform back and walk across to another
platform.  Ride it to yet another one.  Ride it across and hit the switch.  Now
ride the last platform back and cross the gap for a chest (super heal bottle)
and another switch.  Hit it and ride back.  The new platform that rises leads
to a flame hammer (Melody) and another blue lift.  Ride this one for another
switch and then ride back.

Phew, that was drawn out.  Ride back and hit the next switch you come to.  this
raises the platform near the nearby lift.  Head south across the platform and
go past the new lift for a chest containing a battle coat.  Equip it to Eddie
and go back to that lift we just passed.  Take it across and then go up the
stairs.

On the fourth floor, go forward and then take a left.  You'll find an antidote
in a chest, and then a save point... finally.  Save your game here and walk
back to the fork in the road.  The right path leads to two treasure chests, one
with runed mittens and one with Iron Gauntlets.  Back to the save point and
save your game yet again.  Now, head into the next room.  Look familiar?  Just
to the north is a chest with some sniper gloves.  Equip them to Pad and start
up the stairs.  Enter the room at the top for a scene and a battle
_______________
* Boss: Carmine * (Man in armor anyone?)
*****************==============================================================
Just attack him as many times as you can.  If you want to speed things up, have
Eddie use Overdrive and then a few combo attacks, but don't work too hard, you
can't kill him this round.  Just like Hartman, he calls the battle short.
===============================================================================

After the battle, it's time to escape.  If you took my advice back in London
and bought a warp stone or two, now's the time.  If not, it's a long walk back.

After you get the scene, re-enter the Tower of Babel and take the staircase to
the right for a chest containing a beautiful gem, another unapraised gear. Back
outside and away to london.

o========o
London
o========o

First off, hit the Guild and have your item appraised for a crystal gem, which
raises your critical chance.  It works well on Pad, but it's just there to hold
a place until we get better equipment.  Now, head to the west section of the
city (where your house is) and go into the house on the far left.  This is
Beatrice's mansion, keep that in mind, we'll be back here a lot from now on.

Anyway, you'll first drop off the girl and then head back outside.  Evans wants
you to do something for him.  We need to find a "World Treasure"  Hop back into
your airship and fly to Cairo, but don't land.  Near Cairo is a river.  Follow
the river upstream and you'll get a flash of light and find Abu Simbel.  Report
back to Evans in the london museum for your reward, a mysterious stone. Another
Unapraised gadget.  Hold on to it for now, and head to Beatrice's mansion

At the mansion, we find out that dear ol' dad is in st. Petersburg.  As we rush
off to the airship to rescue him, Fiona runs after us and joins the party.  We
now have a full team of four.  Save your game and hit the armor shop.  Outfit
Fiona and then check the Guild for three new quests, if you're interested.  Now
is a good time though, since we have a full team.

As for the World treasures, I won't make a seperate section, since all you have
to do is talk to everyone and go where they say.  I suggest you just talk to
everyone for now and then go hunt them later when we have better airhsip
equipment.  Talk to evans and he'll keep track of any treasures you've been
told about.  Save your game again and head to your airship.  Look to the East
and you'll see two mountains.  One plain and the other covered in snow, up to
mid altitude and fly between the mountains.  Follow the water below you and
you'll come out just to the south of St. Petersburg.  Land there

o================o
St. Petersburg
o================o

Here, shop for a new set of airship weapons, armor, and upgrade plate. Equip it
and then hit the city proper.  To begin with, head to the east side of town. In
the bottom right lamppost is an ancient paper.  To the hosue just above the
armor shop, in the bottom left side of the top floor is a beautiful gem.  Now,
into the bar.  The plant in the top left of the house holds a warp stone.
Give the Armor and weapon shops a miss for now, we'll be back in a while.

Talk to the guy on the right side of town standing just in front of the statue.
He'll tell you about a sky pirate in the bar.  Head back there for a scene with
Scarlett (the one who attacked us on our way to Eterna mine a while back).
After she leaves, head back to the airport.  Repair your airship (using items)
and restock any healing things you may need for the airship (avoid the wrench
for now, not really worth it)  Head out and head east.  You'll get a scene and
a battle.

_________________
* Boss: Ouroboros *
*******************============================================================
I hope you bought the upgrade plate, armor, and new weapons in St. Petersburg,
if you didn't, you're in trouble here.  Keep Eddie and Melody on the offense,
and have Pad use Support shot if healing isn't needed, to supplement the heavy
assault of your two attackers.  Fiona should charge the orb once and then fire
it on her next turn.  If support shot is active, just fire it immediately so
Pad can step in.  Fiona should also be in charge of healing, as she has the
weakest weapon at this point.  After a bit of damage, the coward runs.
===============================================================================

Our opponent runs away with his tail between his legs, but he tells us about a
ship he shot down earlier.  Head farther east to land in Siberian Village.

o==================o
Siberian Village
o==================o

In here, the first thing to do is hunt treasure.  The sign in front of you has
an antidote, the sled nearby has a mysterious item, a stack of wood in the
northernmost portion of town as a mechanics tool, and the northwest house has a
silver chalice in the pot on the top - left wall.  Sell the antidote and hit
the weapon shop for some new equipment for Fiona and Pad, and then hit the
armor shop.  Purchase the best of the best here.  Now, on your way out of town,
talk to the man just below the item shop.  he tells you about a base to the
north.  First off, head back to St. Petersburg.  Buy any armor in the armor
shop and have all of your unapraised items appraised to acquire the Dalmanites'
stone, Aquamarine Gem, Infinity Gear, and Scroll of the dead.

Give Eddie the Golden Scarab and the Infinity Gear, Pad gets the Crystal Gem
and the Scroll of the dead.  For Melody, the other scroll of the dead, and for
Fiona the Dalmanites' stone and the Aquamarine Gem.

Now, If you haven't noticed yet, everytime you visit a new major city (has an
airship dock) London gets it's weapon, armor, item, and airship stock upgraded.
Head there.

o========o
London
o========o

Head to the weapon shop for a flame Kukri, a very good weapon for Eddie, as the
majority of enemies in the next area are ice based, and weak against fire. Pick
up a Fur coat in the armor shop for him too, and make sure you pick up a few
(five or so) warp stones.  Save your game and finish up any quests up to this
point.  Also, before you head out, buy the new Upgrade plate.  If you waited
until now to finish the quests, Fiona should know Repair Force.  Level it up a
bit, it's her most useful skill for a good long while.  Use it to heal the
airship, then rest in your mansion.  Save your game and then head to the north
of Siberian village for a scene.
__________
/Chapter 5/ Bringin' down the house
===============================================================================
after the scene, we get another series of battles.  Nothing too hard, just two
hits each to kill them, one if you use Melody's cannon.  After three battles,
Scarlett shows up to help us and we land in the Siberian Base.

o===============o
Siberian Base
o===============o

Before we begin, two things.  You will need to complete this map entirely right
here if you care about the 100% completion on the map section.  This place will
become drastically different soon, so if you don't complete it now, you can't
get the reward that comes with a 100% map completion.  The second is that
Scarlett is now a member of your party, but as a guest.  Basically, you have
no control over her skills, equipment, or actions in battle.  The enemy can not
attack her, and she'll just do her own thing.  Each Guest character will do
different things, some will heal you, some will raise your atk or def, some
just attack.  Scarlett will just attack on her turn, and she's powerful.  Just
forget about her and let her do her own thing.

First off, explore and complete this map and find the chest with the super heal
leaf in it.  To the next room.  Just continue north to the next room.  In here,
move north to the fork.  Head left for a flame staff.  Equip it to Fiona.  Back
to the fork and go right to finish the map and get some dragon head plans. More
on that later, for now, just head north to the elevator and the next room.

Here, just Walk to the right and press A next to the Monorail for the next area
in our little lineup.  Complete this map and head north to the next room. North
again to find your father... or not.  After the scene, you lose Fiona.  We have
Scarlett, so not too much of a blow... but still, it sucks.  Finish the map in
here and pick up the chests for a Cabal Gun and a Metal Vest, both of which are
for Pad.  Next room.

In here, head south at the fork for an Icebrand.  DO NOT EQUIP IT NOW.  This
weapon is your worst enemy in an area like this... Save it for now, but keep
the Flame Kukri equipped.  Now, talk to the Korol here.  Use if needed, if not,
ignore.  Hit the switch here and then walk up to the fan and enter it now that
it's stopped.  Again, make sure the map is complete before you move on.  In the
next room is a Silver Chalice.  Follow the linear path out of here and into the
next room.  In here, go left for an Hp shard and then complete the map before
riding the Monorail.

Complete the map and then head north.  In here, you can't go up the elevators
to the left and right, but walk up to them to complete the map.  Head up the
north elevator.  Here's your save point.  Save your game.  Before you move on,
check the adventurer's book and make sure that all of the maps in this area are
complete (except one) and then check your equipment.  Make sure Eddie has the
Infinity gear equipped.  Now is also the time to equip that icebrand.  Save
again and head into the next room.  After a scene, we fight.

If we had Fiona, this guy would be cake, as it is, he's a minor annoyance. Have
Eddie overdrive and then combo attack over and over.  Pad can use Heavy shot if
you have it (Requires Lock on level 3) or just use random shot to damage.  Have
Melody use Frost over and over again.  Shouldn't take more than three or four
turns to end this.
===============================================================================

After dear roswell cries up a storm and blows up the whole dang place, we get
rescued by the Damocles.  Talk to Fiona to have her rejoin and then talk to the
rest of the people on the ship for a scene and we arrive in london.

First stop is selling everything you don't need.  Feel free to sell the flame
Kukri now, we don't need it anymore.  Since we can't go anywhere (no airship),
don't worry about quests and the like.  Just head to your mansion for a scene.

After everyone gets filled in on the story, find your party members in the
mansion and talk to them.  After that, return to the living room and talk to
your mother and Mr. Evans for another scene.  After you wake up in the morning
head to the museum and talk to Shirley at the entrance for a scene.

Looks like we have to go find some tablets, and our airship has been returned.
as you head out of the museum, you'll run into the girl in the wheelchair yet
again.  This time Carlos steps in and introduces her as Magi (but you knew that
if you were paying attention to the guide earlier).  After the scene is over,
we have a tablet to find.

Head to the airship dock and head to cape town.  If you go mid-altitude, it's

Here, head into town proper to meet up with Yang-Gui, our contact.  She tells
us to head to eterna mines, but before we do that, there's a new quest
available in the Guild, and since she joins us, it'll be a good time to do it
now.

After the quest is done (or you decline to do so), head to the Eterna Mine.
Make your way to the bottom of the cavern, and into the room next to the save
point.  Head to the end of the tracks to have Yang-Gui open the gate for you...
Helpful thing isn't she.  Head in through the new opening after the scene.

This place runs off of minecarts... For the most part.  Hop in the one directly
in front of you and then into the next one.  As this one moves past the curve,
press A to hit the switch and change the direction of the tracks. Into the next
cart.  Here, let the first switch go by, but hit the second one for a set of
blue blade plans.  Back in the cart, and then right back in again.  This time
hit the first switch.

Head to the far left and take that cart to two treasure chests for a magicians
hat and a hunter blade.  Give that to our Mage and blade-wielder, respectively.
After everyone's equipped, ride the minecart back and take the one pointing
north.  Hit both switches and save your game.  If you're interested, you can
walk back across the tracks to find another Korol, but again, they do random
things, so it could be a waste of time.  If you're out for map completion, you
can play with the switches to ride the tram right past him.

When you're ready, head through the door next to the save point for a scene and
a battle:

Well, well, well, look who turned traitor.  Just attack several times.  You can
only hurt her with Melody's magic, but it's impossible to kill her at this
point in the game.  Don't worry, it's not too far off, just put up with her.
Attack, attack, attack and she'll eventually call the battle.
===============================================================================

The scene after this is hillarious.  Melody clearly says "none of my attacks
work on her."  this is funny because Melody was the only one who could actually
damage her... anyway, after the battle, we get our first tablet.  Warp out of
the place, and it's just five more to go.  Head to London

Head to the Museum to report to Fogg.  If you weren't paying attention earlier,
the entrance is behind the large tablet in the museum proper.  He tells us to
investigate the area to sniff out the spy.  Since we're new, we can be trusted,
but no one else can.  Let's get to work.  Talk to EVERYONE in the room and then
go into the hall.

Talk to as many people as you can in here until you get a scene.  Now, go into
the room second from the top on the left for a scene.  Our buddy Carlos is
stealing papers... But as he tries to leave, Magi shows up and puts a stop to
his plans.  Turns out, it's an impersonator.  Astell (Scarlett's sister, for
those of you who weren't paying attention earlier) can change appearance, as we
already know.  She warps out after saying that she doesn't want to tussle with
Magi.  Anyway, report to Fogg.  He sends us to Mt. Ararat.

Heal your airship with Fiona's skill and then rest at your mansion.  Save your
game and head to the airship.  Point your sirship south and look for a set of
low mountains.  You should see a large patch of green grass.  Fly over it and
continue between the low mountains.  You should see the mountain directly ahead
of you.

o============o

Fiona reveals there's a tablet in here, but we first need to get there.  Follow
the path to the first fork and go south for a GUnman Vest.  Pad of course.  Now
go back to the fork and continue right.  Follow the path until you come to a
small outcropping to the right.  Step in for a Dragon shield plan.  We'll get a
use for these soon, just hold on to them.  Now continue to the right along the
path until you come to an exit.

On the next screen, head around the path until you come to an entrance to the
left.  go in for a lance rod and a Leather Robe.  Both to our lovely priestess,
and then back to the main path.  Follow it north and across a tiny wooden log
to enter a new place, the legendary Ark.  Head inside.

In the first room on the right, we find a sombrero.  equip it to Pad (OLE!!!)
Continue down the main path for another Korol.  Again, completely random.  Mine
was selling items, the same set as the London weapon shop.  Anyway, continue to
the north and stop by the left room for a runed cloak.  Melody can make good
use of this.  Continue north and go down either set of stairs.  In this room,
at the far south, is the save point, but the door won't open.

After you save, head south and open the door.  Go through and down the stairs.
In here, open the chests for a set of chain mail, a mysterious stone, and an
agility shard, and then head down the stairs to the south.  In here, go to the
end of the path and open the chest for an Earth Club.  Equip that to Melody and
check the back of the podium for a switch.  Pull it for a message and then head
back out.

Head back to the floor with the Korol on it.  If you managed to get a good one,
use it's effect again, if not, just investigate the hearth between the stairs
to make the door open.  Go save your game and head in.  Walk up to the pedestal
for a scene.  Battle time

heal if needed and Melody can just attack, as he has insanely high magic
defense.
===============================================================================

After the battle, he reveals a bit of Melody's past and then we get our second

Report to the bossman.  He sends Carlos off to find out what the Cabal is up to
and gives us some downtime.  After the scene, head out of the museum.  here, we
run into The lady who works at beatrice's mansion, dorothy.  She needs us to go
back into the sewers and kill another rat because it stole a pendant.  Well, no
time like the present.

Before you go, head into the Guild and appraise your Mysterious Stone for a
Ragiolaria's Stone.  This just prevents darkness, but since it makes eight
total, just equip it to whoever has a blank space and we'll swap them out when
we get better stuff.  Anyway, to the sewers

Yeah, yeah, nothing new.  It's stronger, you're stronger.  It doesn't stand a
chance.  Melody should use wind magic, Fiona can use Lumiera if she has it, if
not, just attack.  Pad can use random shot, and Eddie should... big suprise,
use Overdrive and combo attack.  It falls in three turns flat, less if you've
been training.  If you have any trouble at all, you need training, a lot of
training.
===============================================================================

Everyone should level up, no idea why, he wasn't that strong, but he dropped a
lot of Experience...  and a familiar looking pendant...

Anyway, a scene and then we get control again.  The gate that was closed before
just magically opened, so go in and open the chest for a stamina shard.  Warp
out, it's time for some answers.

Head to Beatrice's mansion.  After the scene, leave the mansion.  Heal your
airship with Fiona's skill if needed and then rest at your mansion.  Now, head
to the airship port to run into our favorite red clad sky pirate.  Scarlett
wants us to take her to the nirvana palace.  It's close to Dehli, so we'll head
there now.  She joins us as a guest once again.

First off, make sure your airship is healed up, well equipped, and you have
plenty of healing items as well as a good set of levels on your airship skills.
If that's not the case, a few mid altitude air battles around london should fix
that.  Focus especially on Fiona's Repair force, as it does more than any item
ever could when well leveled, and it doesn't cost a damn thing.

Now, head to the beach just between Cape town and the pyramid and take off to
the east.  Up to mid altitude and over the clouds, and then to the north a bit
more.  If you can't find it, it's directly east of the pyramid on your map, but
you have to go around a mountain a bit.  Before we do anything else, land there
and repair your airship with Fiona's skill if needed.  Now, we're going on a
bit of a field trip, so don't buy anything just yet.  SAVE YOUR GAME and then
head directly east at mid altitude.

Eventually, you'll come to some broken land, like a string of islands, follow
the line they make and you should see a mountain.  Just beside it is a city,
land in Tokyo

Here, don't do anything at all.  First things first, we have some plans to use.
Head to the house in the northwest part of town, in here we'll meet a man in a
blue robe.  He is the one who can let us use all of those airship plans we've
been picking up for the last little bit.  If you've been with me so far and are
up to date on all of your quests, you should have four plans.  Have him make
the dragonhead and the dragon scale.  Now, head back to the airport and equip
these to your airship.

Sell the old parts and buy the upgrade plate.  Equip the new, sell the old, and
re-heal your airship.  Now, go back to Delhi, but just stop in and buy the
upgrade plate there and re-heal the airship.  Now, make your way back to London
It's a long trip, I know, but you need to do it, trust me.

o========o
London
o========o

Here, buy the Spiny Egg and the Spike Turret, as well as the Upgrade Plate. Use
Fiona's skill to heal the airship and head to the town proper.  Here, hit the
weapon shop.  Buy the Murakumo Sword, Ruin Blaster, and Golden Club.  Head to
the armor shop.  Buy two samurai suits, an Izanami's Cloak, and some Samurai
Gauntlets.  Equip everything, sell the old, and bask in your invincibility.

We're not quite done yet though.  Go rest in your mansion and then head back to
Tokyo, it should be a lot easier getting there this time, since you have the
best of the best when it comes to airship battles at this time.

o=======o
Tokyo
o=======o

Here, head to the northeast section of town.  this is the weapon / armor / item
shop.  Here, head to the weapon shop first.  Buy the Holy Rod for Fiona.  In
the armor shop buy three Gale Gloves and a Plumage. Equip as needed (it should
be obvious) and sell the old equipment.  Now, head back in to town.  In the Bar
there is a mysterious stone in the top right lamp.  Have it appraised for a
Nautilus Stone.  In the flowerpot of the house to the left of the inn is a flee
stone.  Finally, the sign on the right side of the bar has a strength shard.
Sell the flee stone, equip the Nautilus stone (prevents confusion) and use the
strength shard.  Now, head back to Delhi once again.

o=======o
Delhi
o=======o

Here, in the town proper, buy four leather caps at the armor store and sell all
of your old hats.  Now it's treasure hunting time.  In the bar, in the picture
on the wall is a medusa tear, sell it.  In the northern part of town, look
around for two old clocks and a mechanic's wrench.  Sell or keep the wrench and
have your two clocks appraised for a Daemon Claw and an Angel Wing, items that
raise and lower your encounter rate.  Equip the Angel wing to someone and then
head out of delhi and into the Nirvana Palace.

o================o
Nirvana Palace
o================o

Here, open the chests around the area for 10000 G and a Beautiful Gem.  Talk to
the guy in front of the door to meet Amir.  He tells us to go get a key.  Head
back to Delhi and talk to the guy in the northernmost building to get the
Temple Key.  While we're here, have your Beautiful Gem appraised for a Lapiz
Lazuli Gem.  This one reduces water damage.  Take a minute to set up your
equipment, save your game, and then head back to the Palace.  Talk to Amir
again to enter and open the gate.

First, head to the right for a flintlock gun.  Don't equip it, since we've got
better already.  Note that you will fight a large amount of zombies, so
distribute those scroll of the dead accordingly... Fiona already does good
damage to them due to her holy-based weapon, and one should go to Eddie, the
other is your choice.  When you're done adjusting equipment, head down the
stairs.

Pick up the MP shard and use it on Fiona or Melody.  Now, head farther north,
against the left wall is an agility shard, use accordingly.  Head into the door
on the right or left, either one.  In both of them, all you have to do is get
to the top floor while avoiding the odd colored floors (they collapse if you
step on them).  The left side has a Wedjat Mace, Flame Wand, and another Korol.

The right side has a stone blade, just drop down through the holes in the floor
after you hit the switch to get to the floor quickly.  After both switches are
activated, head far north for a bridge and a scene.  Save your game and enter
the cave entrance for a scene and a battle
______________

****************===============================================================
Your first target is the two gorgons.  Same strategy as always, Eddie overdrive
and Combo attack, Pad should speed bost Eddie and then Random Shot or focus on
keeping petrification and paralysis off of everyone, as should Fiona, but have
her use lumiera when there are no status effects on anyone.  Keep the same
strategy going for Astell and she should fall soon.  Make sure you don't waste
too much MP, there's another battle coming soon
===============================================================================

After the battle, a lot of stuff happens, mainly, Astell's mind control device
is broken and she remembers the past.  She also magically bitch slaps Yang Gui
and then joins us in a fight against her.

* Boss: Yang Gui *
******************=============================================================
Time to end this.  Same strategy that worked for Astell will work fine here,
and this time there's no status effects to worry about, except death.  She has
an instant death skill, but as long as she doesn't target Fiona with it, she
can easily revive them.  She uses it rarely, and since our weapons are so good
at this point, the battle won't last long
===============================================================================

After she falls (for good this time) save at the save point and warp out for a
scene.  Astell leaves your party. Back to Tokyo after the scenes are over

About seven steps into the airport we get a scene.  Carlos tells us we need to
meet up with the Damocles.  Sell anything you don't need at a store here and
then fly due south to find the Damocles floating over the water.  Land there.

We get a scene and turn in the last tablet we picked up.  We are told about a
new Cabal Base in the mountain near Tokyo.  Magi joins our party.  Now's your
last chance to drop out and do anything else you want to do right now, once you
enter the base you won't be able to leave until all's said and done.

Mt. Fuji Base

As we land (with an absolutely amazing cutscene, DO NOT SKIP THIS ONE, our
airship is completely destroyed, so we're not getting out any time soon.  To
begin with, a few notes:

- You will be fighting a large number of robots here, and a quick way to finish
 them is to give Eddie the infinity gear and use sonic wave (if you have it
 requires combo attack level five along with level 28).

- This is the second (and last) dungeon with a map that you must complete
 now if you want the 100% map completion.  It nets you a super nifty item but
 is not required for game completion, so I'll leave it up to you.  In this
 dungeon, you need to complete as much as possible as you go, since the</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
 topography changes as you go along.  Complete as much as the robots will let
 you complete before you go to the area I specify.

- Finally, Magi is with you, and she will either heal your entire party or cast
 defense up on everyone, just let her do her thing.

Now that that's out of the way, save your game and open the chest for a golden
headband, for Eddie.  Now head into the next room for a scene.  We have to
avoid the robots here, so if they're in your way, you can't pass.  To start,
go to the center of the room, down the ladder, and around the path for a scene.

Afterwards open the two chests for a set of heavy blade plans and an old clock.
Back up the stairs.  the robots have now switched places, so you can head down
the ladder to your right, which you should do now.  Begin by following the path
in a circle clockwise to come to a chest with a flame vest, for Pad.  Continue
around the path and up the stairs.

Up here, follow the path a bit and go back down the stairs.  Go down once more
for a new room.  In here is a Korol and a chest with a Battle Staff.  The korol
is random, but likely worthless.  Back up the stairs and down the ladder.  Here
head to the right for a new room for a scene.  Open the chest for an apple
hammer, for Melody.

Leave the room to find that the bots have moved again.  You can now complete
this map.  Down the stairs to the west and up the ladder to the south.  Now, go
down the stairs to your left.  Go clockwise across the path and up the stairs.
This puts you back on the main floor.  Hit the save point in the first room for
a bit of free healing (MP is our main concern here, magi does her job well.) Go
back out and into the center ring.  Here go down the right set of stairs

Complete this map and go up the stairs counter-clockwise from here to finish up
this map.  Down the ladder.  As you arrive in this area, you'll notice an
indention in the wall to your left, step in for a semi-hidden room (most people
miss this one).  Open the chest for a chain cloak (sideline it, our current is
better) and back out.  You can complete this map now as well.  Follow the path
and through the door in the northwest.

Complete the map (easy) and down the stairs.  Finish this map up and find a
dragonhead, a good weapon for Pad.  Back up the stairs and exit to the right.
In here, a scene and a battle with three Cabal Soilders.  Fight them off and
complete the map.  Open the chest for a mysterious stone... again, nothing to
do but hold on to it.

Back out the room and down the stairs.  Through the next room and up the ladder
and the next set of stairs for the top floor once again.  Before we go on, look
at your adventurer's notebook and make sure that you have all maps complete
(except one).  If you do, go down the elevator near the first entrance.  If you
don't it's up to you, but if you followed my advice, you should.

Here, the map is already completed for us, so that's that.  Save your game and
head across the nearby bridge for a scene and a battle.

Nothing to do but wait him out.  Just use this time to buff your characters.

have a burst of lumiera.  When he falls, he falls for good.

Talk to everyone to have the ship land in London

o========o
London
o========o

Here, dad joins our party and we need to head home.  Appraise the two gears you
got for an Ammonite Stone, and for some reason, the Berserker Mask costs  5000
to appraise.  Inflation I guess... It's not that great.  First off, if you
didn't complete the map, you have another chance now, just re-load your game,
if you did (or don't care) just save your game now and then head to your
mansion.

After the scene, follow and talk to your dad.  You'll give him his pipe (we got
it in the Tower of Babel way back when) and recieve "Supernova" Eddie's Co-op
skill.  This is a heavy damage attack that hits the entire enemy party, but it
costs a lot of MP, so only use it if you have a method for recovering MP easy,
such as a save point.  Talk to everyone else in the house, including your mom,
for bedtime.

When you wake up, head to the airport to find out that we now get another ship,
the Maverick 2 (convinient, ain't it).  This one has access to High altitude,
as well as a radio.  Take it out for a spin for a tutorial. A warning before
you take off, travelling at High altitude is a death sentance for now.  We will
need much better weapons and skills, or a trunkload of Ship healing items, or
you're asking for death.  Mid altitude is OK now, for the most part, but don't
go high altitude until we upgrade.

To start, head due west from London until you get a distress signal.  Fly into
them for a scene and battle.  No boss here, just some low-altitude enemies, one
attack each.  Tow them back to london for another scene...  After two scenes,
Pad picks up Bullet Drive, another Co-Op skill similar to Eddie's.

Land back in London and talk to Mr. Evans.  He sends usout to pick up a few
secret plans of the Cabal.  Before you leave, sell off any old Airship parts
and weapons you have, since the Maverick 2 came with it's own set of default
equipment, which stomps anything we had equipped.  Also be aware that there are
a few new quests as well, you can do them now or wait, but be sure to do them
eventually.

Now, let's take the Farthest one first, shall we, Head back to the base we were
just in.

Here, we have a new map to complete.  You don't have to do it now, but since
you're here, might as well.  The item we're looking for is in the room right
before the control room was the last time we were here.  Not too hard to find,
just explore a bit and you'll likely stumble on to it eventually.  Warp out
when you have the item warp out and head back to london.  Heal the airship,
rest up at your mansion, and head to the destroyed Siberian Base.

posted 15 years ago.  Head to the Siberian village.

The place is deserted when we get here.  The only room you can enter is to the
far northeast.  Head in for a scene.  Here we meet a woman who talks about her
husband named Patrick and her infant son, named Pad... Go figure.  We hear a
crash outside and we step outside to find...  Yang GUi?  She's supposed to be
dead.  If you haven't figured it out already, we've entered the Twilight Zone,
and are in the past.  She challenges us to a battle

No boss section for this one, just hit her with the best of the best.  Bullet
Dive and supernova are fun to use here.  After the battle, head back into the
house for a (very) short scene.  Back outside for another one.  When it's over,
Return to London.

Here, report back to the guild for a Flare Crossbow, a weapon for Pad.  We
won't get a lot of chance to use it, but equip it anyway.  Next stop is
Beatrice's Mansion.  We're told That Pad's mom took off on her airship.  Head
to the airship port for another scene, we find out that she's travelling to
Dehli.  Head there now.  (East of the Pyramid if you've forgotten).

Just a quick stop here, talk to the man just below the northernmost building to
find out that the ghost ship was headed to Tokyo.  Save and head there now.

o=======o

Talk to the man just north of the entrance, the second person you come to as
you head north from the entrance.  She tells you that the ship continued east.
Save and pick up the Angel Sabre here before you leave.  Equip it, heal your
airship, save your game and check skills.  The easiest way to finish the coming
battle is to have Pad's Support shot maxed (minimum level 5) and Have Eddie's
Power boost skill at level 6 or so.  When you're ready, head east. Eventually
you'll get a scene and a battle.

Were you paying attention to that last paragraph?  If so, this battle will last
all of three seconds.  Have Pad use Support Shot, Have Fiona use Guard Shield,
Eddie should use Power Boost, and Melody should attack.  On your next run, have
Eddie attack (around 500 damage) and pad will step in for another 160 or so (if
the skill is maxed)  That should end it.

Here, back at Beatrice's mansion, we get another scene.  Pad's mom has all of

healers, Fiona (prefered) or Pad.  Head to the Guild and talk to the lady in
front of the counter.  She tells us that Evans is waiting for us in the East
End.

If you're behind on your quests, now's a good time to catch up.  Check the
Quest section for details and then talk to Mr. Evans at the southern point of
the east side.  He sends us on a hunt for Teotihuacan ruins, in the center of
the american continent.

Climb to High altitude and head east.  You'll get a call from Evans, he tells
us about a tablet in El Dorado.  We need to head to New York to find the
Adventurer looking for it.  Teotihuacan is marked on your map.  Head there, but
don't land.  Just a little east of it is New York.  Land there

o==========o
New York
o==========o

Here, buy the new upgrade plate.  Don't buy anything else here, we'll be back
later.  Head into the city and into the Guild.  Talk to the man next to the
couch.  He tells us about a house in the city where the adventurer lives.  Head
straight north from the guild to find another house you can enter.  Go in here
and talk to the lady in the room.  She tells us to head to Tokar Village.  It's
now marked on your map.

o===============o
Tokar Village
o===============o

Talk to the only guy in the village who's standing still, he'll tell us about
the amazon jungle.  Go ahead and buy all the new weapons and armor here and go
around the town looking for items.  Everything is found in the shops, a luck
shard, defense boost elixir, and an MP Shard.  Use the MP shard on Fiona or
Melody and the Luck shard on whoever has the lowest luck (Melody probably).
Sell the defense elixir, as it's a temporary thing.

Head out and land in the Amazon, it's marked on your map.

o===============o
Amazon Jungle
o===============o

A scene when we arrive.  Head to the next screen to your right to find the man
we came here to find.  Talk to him for a scene adn then I suggest you complete
this map.  We'll have to do a few things here, so knowing where to go from the
map is a good idea.  While you're walking around, pick up the mega heal bottle
and then go around behind the waterfall and into the cave.  Pick up the Gold
Tiara (Fiona) and the Moon Jewel.

Now, examine the tablet in the room.  See the pool on the West side, walk
around it counter-clockwise twice until it changes and then examine it.  Now,
walk out to the dock on the south side.  Face south and wait a few seconds and
you'll get another message.  Walk to the front of the waterfall to find a small
orb of light.  Examine it and then QUICKLY run through the patch of mud on the
east side and through the new path to get a scene.  A battle occurs afterwards.

Standard combat strategy, Overdrive and combo attack, Have Pad attack, and have
Melody use Aeria.  Fiona should keep everyone healed up and throw lumiera once
in a while.  It shouldn't take long, just make sure Fiona stays alive, The boss
tended to target her a lot.  Status effects are a problem as well, but since
Fiona is immune to everything, it's not too bad, just let her heal them.
===============================================================================

Everyone levels up and we have access to El Dorado.  Head through the funny
looking portal.

o===========o
El Dorado
o===========o

In here, through the gate and to the left.  Hit the switch and talk to the
Korol.  Ideally, it heals your MP, that's the best one, but it's rare.  Hit the
switch to raise a bridge elsewhere.  To the far right is another switch, hit it
to raise another bridge.  Go into the room nearby for a set of Dragon Gauntlets
for Eddie.  Out of the room and across the bridge.  Cross the bridge to the
left for another room.  go up the stairs for a L'arc du Sol, a new weapon for
Melody.  Back to the ground floor and out the door.

To the north is another switch, hit it and then go north across the new bridge
that appears.  In this next screen, go into the building on the left for a
Gorgeous Coat for Eddie.  Cross the bridge to the north.  Go Left and into the
building for a mysterious stone and a mysterious item.  Head back down the
stairs and open the chest for a Laurel Staff.  It's for Fiona, but it has no
element and only 2 more attack power, your call.

Now, finish this map off and pick up the army vest while you do it.  It's for
Pad, equip it to him and save your game.  Before you go to the next room, make
sure Melody Knows Magic Shell.  It is essential to the next battle.  Also,
level Eddie's Combo attack and Overdrive skill some more with the SP you picked
up in this dungeon.  Save again and then head into the large building for a
battle with an old friend.

________________
* Boss: Hartmann *
*****************==============================================================
To begin with, Melody should Cast Magic Shell on Fiona.  After that, have her
cast it on Eddie, Pad, and herself, in that order.  Fiona should either heal
up damage from before the spell was cast or she can also cast white Gale to let
melody cast another Magic Shell or, if everyone is shelled, can let Eddie hit
the boss with another overdriven combo attack.  Have pad just attack or use
Bullet Drive for a bit more damage.  Mostly, though, Hartmann will kill himself
off with reflected magic damage.  A reflected Flanmoa will hit him for around
270 or so, at the lowest magic shell level.
===============================================================================

Again, everyone levels up, and we need to get out of here.  Touch the save
point outside for an HP / MP refill and then warp out via Fiona's skill.  Head
to London.

o========o
London
o========o

There are some new airship parts here, but nothing shattering, just hang on to
what we've got, it's not worth the extra 7000 gold for an increase of two power
on your weapons.  To the city proper, head to the museum and report in and turn
in the tablet to Commander Fogg.  We're instructed by Magi to visit Mereville
Village to find out about Melody's mother.  Head out of the museum for a scene.

If you need to, heal your airship and then rest at your mansion.  Now, head to
Mereville Village.  It's just to the south of London if you've forgotten.

o===================o
Mereville Village
o===================o

Here, head to the elders house, the northernmost building, and talk to the guy
standing outside.  Go inside the house and walk up to the desk.  After the
scene, visit the graveyard for another one.  Melody picks up Daemon's Gate,
leaving Fiona as the only one without a co-op attack.  Back to the airship for
another call from Evans.

___________
/Chapter 10/ Fiona's memories
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He wants to meet us in Rio de Janeiro.  It's marked on your map, save your game
and if you're not up to date on your quests, now's a good time.  Also, appraise
the two gadgets you got from El Dorado for a Graptolite Stone (Prevents
Petrification) and a Orichalcum Shield (makes your defend command prevent more
damage).  Equip if you want, but petrification isnt a big deal, since Fiona is
immune and can heal it, and I don't ever defend anyway.  When you're ready to
go, head to Rio de janeiro, it's marked on your map.

o================o
Rio de Janeiro
o================o

Here, the first thing you need to do is upgrade your airship equipment.  Sell
the old and make sure you buy the upgrade plate.  Heal your airship Via Fiona's
skill due to the HP increase, and then save your game.  Head into the city for
a scene.  First stop is the armor shop.  Buy anything that increases defense,
but be a little frugal here, don't spend a large amount of money for a boost
of one or two.  Nothing for us in the weapon shop.  Now, in the top left side
of the town, just in front of the square building, you'll find Evans.  Approach
for a scene.  He gives us a sea chart and then walks off, letting us figure it
out for him.

Now, go into the square building just above you.  In here, you can examine the
books for clues to world treasures.  Just look at all of them and Evans will be
able to remind you about it later when you decide to go hunting for them.  In
the center square are of the room is a stamina shard.  Now, head to the north
west area of town to find a chapel.  In here, the preacher will tell you to let
a man named Thomas see your sea chart.  Talk to the guy next to the preacher to
find out that he's returning home now.

The small rectangular house on the bottom right side of town is his house.  Go
in and head upstairs to talk to him.  He tells us to head west to get to the
Easter Islands.  Don't go there just yet.  Since we made it to a new city with
an airship port, London has new stuff in stock, head back there.

o========o
London
o========o

A new upgrade plate in london, but it costs 100,000 gold, so you may not be
able to afford it.  This is where high altitude battles come into play.  Save
before heading out and fly above europe.  You will meet an enemy there named
Soleil.  Killing one will net you 40,000 gold.  Three of those and you have
all you need and some spare change.  Consider fighting a few extra to build a
bit of a nest egg.  If you need it, here's a brief strategy for airship battles
that you may find useful.  If you have no problems, feel free to skip it.

First off, make sure you have the best of the best for your airship.  As long
as you have the Angel Saber and you've been updating your other weapons
regularly, you should be fine.  Next, Power Boost, Support Shot, and Guard
Shield should all be at least level five, but the higher the better.  Repair
Force should, ideally, be maxed, but at the very minimum, level seven.  This
should have you healing around 400 hp each turn, which is essential for high
altitude battles.  On everyone's first turn, have them activate their skill,
and then have everyone attack, except Fiona who should heal.  If the airship
drops below 350 hp and Fiona doesnt have a new turn before the enemies, you can
try to run, use an item, or just hope for the best.  Heal after every battle,
never know when you'll run into something you can't handle.  You should also
save before heading out and after at least every two or three battles.  You may
also want to purchase a few escape stones for use in airship battles as a last
resort.

When you've purchased the upgrade plate, heal your airship, rest at your
mansion, save your game, and head to the easter Islands, which are marked on
your map.

o================o
Easter Islands
o================o

As you enter the marked area, you'll come to several different islands.  The
northern island should have a world treasure on it if you've found teh clue to
it.   Land there.  There's an explorer there named Ros.  He tells you about the
secret of the Moai Statues.  They can apparently be rotated.  Rotate the one
next to him so that it faces south.  Now, go around to east, south, and west
islands and change them so that they all face the center of the islands.  There
is also a Star jewel on west island, pick it up as you go.

Once all the statues are facing the right way, we get a scene and the center
island is revealed.  Before you head to it, double check that your airship is
healed up.  If it's not, use Fiona's Skill.  When you're done, to the Dragon's
Lair.

o===============o
Dragon's Lair
o===============o

Here, just go up the stairs and into the room for a scene.  After the scene, we
automatically board the airship for a battle.
______________
* Boss: Albion *
****************===============================================================
Set up Support shot and power boost.  After that, you really can't lose.  Just
hit him with everything you've got.  Have everyone attack to trigger Pad's
support shot and consider stacking another power boost to speed things up a bit
as well.  Feel free to throw whatever you want at him, he's no challenge, not
compared to most of the high altitude battles in London.  His max damage is
around 150 with fire breath, compared to Gungir Nova's 257 machine gun attack.
===============================================================================

After the battle he descends to the ground and challenges us to a ground battle
for the tablet.  Land and oblige him.
______________
* Boss: Albion *
****************===============================================================
This time he's a little tougher, but not much.  Magic is next to useless
against him, so melody will mostly set out this fight.  Have her attack each
time her turn comes up.  Fiona's the star of this battle though.  Have Eddie
overdrive and then combo attack over and over again.  Pad's Random shot will
deal about 45 damage a hit.  Fiona can use White Gale to give Eddie extra turns
for more combo damage.  If you can activate overdrive twice and then combo
attack him, you'll do around 150 - 160 damage a hit, and if combo attack is at
least level 5, you'll hit four times, for a grand total of about 600 damage. He
can't stand up to that for long.
===============================================================================

After the battle, he reveals that he knows Fiona and that she gave him the
tablet to guard.  There's a Korol on the stairs here, so talk to it real quick.
(mine was healing magic power, sweet)  Complete the map to this area to pick up
a Gorgeous robe (Fiona), Tropical Cloak (Melody), and a strength shard (Eddie
or Melody, your call).  Take your time, no battles on this island.  When you're
done, through the door at the bottom of the temple.  A touching scene and we
get the tablet.  The dragon also tells us to seek the Acropolis for more info.

Head out to the airship.  We find out that we need to head to Greece.  Heal the
airship and save your game, and then head out to the area marked on your map.
High altitude is no longer a problem anymore, as long as you keep an eye on
your health and heal after every battle, so just get there as quickly as
possible.  Land in the Acropolis, it's just a touch north of Cairo.

o===========o
Acropolis
o===========o

Here, we get a scene as we land.  If you've updated everyone's weapons / Armor,
this place is cake, the most damage done to me was 22 and it was a critical hit
at that.  To your right is a Mistilteinn, a new sword for Eddie.  Go into the
building to the north.  Make your way around and up the stairs.  Exit to the
north and open the chest for a Diamond Tiara. (Fiona).  Now, go back into the
building and exit to the East.  Here, there's a Sage's Hat for Melody.  Go into
the building to the north.  Here, cross over the destroed pillars and open the
chest to the south for a Zeus' wand. (fiona)  Now exit to the north.

Here, make your way all the way around the path and into the first building.
Complete the map here and pick up the Luck Shard here.  Back out and around the
path.  Duck down the south path and open the chest for the flee stone. Complete
the map and enter the northernmost building.

Walk around this room to find a recovery device.  Complete the map and then go
out the north door.  Another large, open space.  Explore a bit for a big cannon
(Pad) and a metal coat. (Eddie)  Enter the building to the north.  In here, go
across the bridge to the west to find another Korol.  This one restored my
Stamina, but again, it varies from playthrough to playthrough.  Go back and
cross the bridge to the east and complete the map.  Pick up the chest for a
Water Spirit Mace.  This is the first new weapon for Melody since El Dorado.
Exit to the east.

Pick up the Miracle Drink and then enter the building to the north.  Just
complete the map and then exit.  Back into the last building and exit to the
north.  Here, complete the map and save your game.  Enter the new building.
Approach the altar for a scene.  Melody releases a Goddess and we have to put
it down.
______________
* Boss: Freyja *
****************===============================================================
Overdrive and combo attack, as always.  Have Pad blast away with bullet Drive
for about 350 damage each.  Have Melody use items if needed and let Fiona blast
her with lumiera.  She has an instant kill move, Death's Lullaby, so be ready
for that.  She's nothing special really, just a stronger version of Yang Gui
really.  Just make sure everyone's alive when you kill her, as she gives a huge
chunk of experience.
===============================================================================

She runs her mouth after the battle, saying that Fiona's not human, and Melody
blows her away with a fire blast.  Fiona freaks a bit and Melody smacks her
(cat fight!!!) but they hug and make up.   After the scene, complete the map
and step out and save your game again.  Warp out for a scene.  Melody smacks
some more people and Fiona picks up Holy Bell, her co-op skill.

/Chapter 11/ Enemy Invasion
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Exit the area to get a call from Dad.  He tells us to head to London.  It's not
far, so go there now.

o========o
London
o========o

Here dad pops up and takes us on a field trip.  He joins the party and tells us
to head to the sewers.  Before we do that though, sell off any extra items we
have on us for some decent money and use any of the shards you haven't used.
There are also a few new quests if you're interested.  With your Dad helping,
it's a cakewalk for the most part.  Save your game and enter the sewers when
you're ready.

o===============o
London Sewers
o===============o

There are enemies here that are stronger than they used to be, be on your toes.
Of course, there are also the old enemies too, so you won't have any trouble in
here.  Head to the save point for the HP/MP heal.  Now, head across the path to
the right of the save point.  Now, across the path to the south and around the
wall.  Here there's a ladder and a bridge.  Take the bridge first to complete
the map and pick up the Black Blade Plans.  Back along the path and up the
ladder to the Exploration Agency.

o==========================o
Royal Exploration Agency
o==========================o

Walk up to the enclosed area ahead of you for a scene.  Turns out the Agency is
working a bit behind our back.  They got the sixth tablet that was "lost" in
the Siberian Base.  Kakyo shows up and it's battle time
_____________
* Boss: Kakyo *
***************================================================================
This little prick used his power to pass through the lava unharmed.  He fights
the same as last time, with the Ogre Defense.  Just buff up while we wait for
it to wear off.  Once it wears off, combo attack, Bullet Dive, Flamna or Frost,
and Lumiera.  He's not much stronger than he was the last time we fought him.
He'll fall soon, just keep everyone healed up and stay on the offense so he
can't set up ogre defense again.
===============================================================================

After the battle, the Cabal attacks the base.  We're given all of the tablets
for safekeeping.  Save your game at the nearby save point and make sure Eddie
has the Infinity Gear equipped.  Lots of robots in this place.  Pull the switch
on the right side of the door and then move north.  Down through the door on
the left for a metal jacket.  Equip to Eddie and pull the switch.

Down the switch and through the next door.  Pull the switch and head down the
hallway.  Get the aqua shot for Pad and pull both switches.  Head up the hall
and open the chest for a white tiger blade.  Equip to Eddie.  Down the hall for
a saint's robe and a Korol.  The robe goes to Fiona, the Korol is a toss up.
Pull the switch on the right to open the path.  Back to the save point and save
your game.  Update any skills you want to and then head to the next area.

This room should look familiar.  A cutscene when we enter.  Looks like "man in
armor" is back.  Carmine challenges us to battle.
_______________
* Boss: Carmine *
*****************==============================================================
There is a reason that he is the last of the Cabal Elders.  Carmine is your
greatest challenge up to this point and likely the first battle you'll lose so
far.  He has three basic attacks to start with.  A standard melee attack, which
does about 100-150 HP to one person,  A healing ability called invincible rage,
which heals him for around 120 HP.  These two are not a problem.  The last
Attack of his is the real threat.  Big Bang is an attack that does around 180
to 250 HP to the entire team.

Fiona is your star player this battle.  to start with, have Pad use Speed Boost
on Fiona, and then have Fiona spend the entire battle healing the party, either
her single heal spell or her heal all spell, depending on how many people are
injured.  IF FIONA FALLS, REVIVE HER ASAP.  Without Fiona this battle is
inevitibly doomed.  Eddie should overdrive and combo attack, Pad works best
with random shot, and Melody can use frost for 130 damage or so.

When he says something like "You can't be this strong" you know you're almost
there.  He now gains a new attack, Maximum Prominence.  It hits one unit for
around 250 or so.  It still pales in comparison to Big Bang, which is the major
threat for the majority of this battle.  Just keep on the offense with Fiona
healing.  Whether you win or lose is still mostly luck for this battle.  If he
uses Big Bang three times in a row, that's probably it, regardless of how many
times Fiona healed.  Just keep heart, eventually you will beat him.  I was
around level 45-47 when I fought him and it took me six or seven tries to beat
him, so don't feel bad if you lose.  Another thing to think about... Where the
hell is Dad during the battle, he doesn't help you at all, but is still in your
party...
===============================================================================

After he falls, we meet the Leader of the Cabal.  He tries to Steal Fiona to
use her for the last tablet, but your dad steps in to fight him and tells you
to run.  You'll gain control of Eddie back in a very familiar next room.

Through the only door you can enter and pull the switch on the right to raise
the door.  Head through the newly opened path and pull the switch in the room
to your left.  This opens the next door and closes the one behind us.  Open the
two chests above you, one to the left and one to the right for an ancient paper
and a magical wand (what a unique name).  The wand is for Melody.   Pull the
switch in the room with the wand to open the path to the north.  Pull the new
switch in the far northwest room to unlock the first switch.

Back to the room with the ancient paper and pull the switch there.  Now back to
the entrance and pull the now unlocked switch.  Make your way north and pull
the switch in the room with the ancient paper again to clear the way.  Move to
the now open door for a scene.  A group of soilders step in our way and Magi
moves them for us.  She also tells us to get the last tablet in the Tomb Temple
in America.  Another short scene with Evans and we arrive back in London.

o========o
London
o========o

Before we do anything, sell off any old equipment you may have in the inventory
that you don't need, and get that ancient paper appraised (10,000 gold, but you
should have plenty from power leveling) for a papyrus scroll.  This halves your
MP consumption.  I reccomend giving it to Either Fiona to manage her healing
costs or Melody to make her more effective.  Your call, but Fiona is probably
the best bet.

I now suggest that you Heal your airship, rest at your mansion, and save your
game.  Make sure all of your preperations are complete, and then head out.
___________
/Chapter 12/ Race to Ragnarok
===============================================================================
Your objective is marked on your map.  Land at the tomb Chapel.

o=============o
Tomb Chapel
o=============o

The Korol near the entrance may have something good for you, or it may not.
Either way, head into the door.  Here is your save point and a set of stairs.
Before you do anything, level Fiona's Lumiera Skill as much as possible.  When
ready, Walk into the room for a scene and you'll meet Frey, black order king of
Swords.  Another demon Fiona sealed away.  Why can't anyone we meet just want
to be friends?  He challenges us to battle.
____________
* Boss: Frey *
**************=================================================================
Fiona shines for this battle.  I told you to raise Lumiera for a reason, this
guy pales against holy damage.  A well leveled Lumiera will hit him for around
400 damage or so.  Balancing a high amount of damage with the need to heal will
determine whether you win or lose this battle.  If you've been leveling skills
diligently, Fiona may know Angel powder.  This will hit the big boy for around
800 damage or so and heal everyone for around 40 HP (At level 1)  This is the
way to go generally, especially if you've leveled it a bit.  Don't be afraid to
let Eddie heal a bit and if you have any items, now's the time to take the heat
off of Fiona with them.  Keep damaging him and whether his 150+ Damage attacks
and you should have no problem.  Be aware that once you lower him to his battle
quote ("Death... Death to the white order") He will begin using Ragnarok, a hit
all attack that does around 150-200 damage to each member.  This is the time to
blast him with all you've got.  He's tough, but he's no Carmine.
===============================================================================
After he hits the ground, you get a scene.  Touch the save point to heal up and
then complete this room's map.  Now save your game.  We need to go into each of
the doors in this room, let's take it Clockwise shall we.  Start with the most
western door (left).

A quick note on this area.  If Fiona has her Blue whirlwind Skill (Level 5
white gale) she can use it on Eddie so he gets two turns back to back. Since
you have easy access to the save point, you can have him use Overdrive on the
first turn and then Supernova.  This will kill everything in this dungeon,
nothing was able to stand up to it.  Also, once you complete each room, you can
use Fiona's Warp Gate Skill to get to the entrance quickly if you don't feel
like walking.  This is the first chance we've had to do this, so use it if you
want to.

As you enter here, open the chest for a Skullhead.  A dark damage gun for Pad.
Most enemies here are strong against Dark, so whether you use it or not is up
to you.  It does however cause curse, so consider it.  Now it's simply a matter
of completing this map and hitting the switch.  Back to the main room and save
your game again.  To the next room.

In here, you'll have to make your way off the map so to speak.  make your way
around this room, ducking into darkened side rooms.  Sounds confusing, I know,
but just keep an eye on the map and you can follow your path easier.  Pick up
both chests for an old clock and an angel staff and hit the switch.  Complete
the map and back to the main room.  Save and continue to the next one.

In here, hit the switch at the end of the VERY linear path and then make your
way through the maze. Complete this map for a Mysterious Item and then back to
the main room.  This marks the halfway point for this dungeon.  Save your game
here and make your way into the next room.

In here, make your way through the room to find the White Gun Plans and the
switch next to each other.  Walk or warp back and save once again.  Two to go.

Next room is more of the same.  Open the chest for a promethean Hammer (Melody)
and then complete the map, hit the switch and warp out.  There's a bit of dark
corridor maneuvering here, but that's no big deal.  You really shouldn't have
trouble getting through this area at this point in the game.

Into the last room, let's knock this dungeon out.  Open the chests for an HP
shard and an Old clock (3 unnapraised gears for those of you counting, most in
any dungeon so far) Hit the switch and use the HP shard on Fiona.  Walk back to
the main room to see the stairs lead down this time.  Save your game and enter
the new room.  We find the final tablet here, along with a scene.  I won't ruin
it for you, but once it's over, the tablet unites and a certain person grabs it
and then calls up a monster to keep us busy.
_____________________
* Boss: Temple Knight *
***********************========================================================
This guy is really nothing special.  He hits for around 160 damage or so, and
tries to curse your party.  If he succeeds in cursing someone, Have Fiona or
Pad remove it, and Fiona should be immune.  Have Fiona heal every now and then,
but for the most part, Just follow your standard attack style, with Eddie
overdriving and then combo attacking.  Pad makes good use of random shot, and
Melody can either blast him with her highest level spell (fire for me) or just
beat him down with her new hammer.  Fiona should heal when needed and, for the
most part, Lumiera will work quite well too.  Have her boost her own spirit
with Blessing Breeze and then blast away with her light spell.  Against that
sort of assault, nothing stands long, so just mop up quickly so we can get that
tablet back
===============================================================================

After the battle, save at the entrance and head out.  We need to hunt them down
and get our tablet.  Damned if I work this freaking hard for those pieces and
then let it walk away.  As you exit, you'll see their airship take off and
Scarlett shows up to help, along with your dad.  Now, you'll get a message that
says they're headed for the South Pole and asks if you're ready to go.  Say no
for now and head to the nearby New York.

o===========o
New York.
o===========o

Here, sell off all of the old weapons you have in your inventory.  Keep or sell
your healing items, up to you, and If you haven't yet, use the HP shard.  Also,
be sure to hit the adventurer's guild to get those items appraised.  We get a
Solar Ring (Slowly restores Hp), Moon Ring (Slowly Restores MP), and Spiritual
Lamp (Boosts rare item acquisition rate).  I suggest the following equipment
setup:

Eddie: Golden Scarab + Crystal Gem (high critical counterattack)
Pad: Spiritual Lamp + Angel Wing (low encounter rate, and high rare item rate)
Melody: Solar Ring + Moon Ring (increase HP and MP Over time)
Fiona: Talisman of Light + Papyrus Scroll (immunity to elements and half MP)

This gives you a well balanced team, and be aware that if you're trying to
level your team, replace Pad's Angel Wing with the Daemon's Claw.  You can also
replace Eddie's Crystal Gem with one of the Damage boosters (scroll of the dead
or Infinity Gear) as needed.  Hit the airship shop and purchase 2-3 airship
healing items.  These are just for backup, the next battle isn't too hard, but
it may tax Fiona's healing a bit.  Level up your standard Airship combat Skills
(Support Shot, Defense shield, Attack boost, Repair force) and then make sure
all is in order with your airship equipment.

Also, the new gun plans we have are waiting for you in Tokyo.  Whether it's
worth it to you for the distance of the trip is up to you.  Once you're ready,
heal your airship, save your game, and head back to Scarlett's ship and choose
yes to move out.  After a scene, you'll arrive at the South Pole.  The gate to
Asgard is opened and a creature arrives.  It shoots down the thieves and Eddie
decides to help them.  Airship battle ensues

* Boss: Paracelsus *
********************===========================================================
This big boy comes with three pods off it's main body.  they are the Sulphyr
Arc, Sahlr Arc, and the Hermes Arc.  The Sulphyr and Sahir Arcs deal damage,
while the Hermes Arc heals the core.  The quickest way to finish this battle is
to take them all out at once.  Start with your standard Skills, support shot,
Defense force, Magic Shield, and Power Boost.  Now, start hitting all targets
with Magic Shower, Flare Shot, Wild Rush, and Miracle Blast.  This will deal
even damage to the entire set of pods.  Continue to do this until they all die,
which should happen at the same time.  After that, just be sure to heal up
before the core unleashes it's countdown attack, Arcana Rain and keep the
Pressure on him.  He won't stand long without his support pods.
===============================================================================

After the battle, a scene, the paracelsus fires at the dirty traitors, but they
get away.  We follow them into the gate.  As the scene closes, We arrive in
Asgard, a new world map of sorts.  Directly to the north of you is the Land of
Korol, land there.

o===============o
Land Of Korol
o===============o

As you'd expect, this place is full of Korol.  VERY small town, but still has
all the facilities. check the flowers here for a full mechanic's kit and an HP
Shard.  The shard goes to Fiona and the mechanic's kit can be saved or sold, up
to you.  Check the boxes just in front of the inn for a mysterious item... no
way to appraise it here, just hold on to it.

Hit the weapon / armor shops and upgrade your equipment.  Lot's of good stuff
here, be sure to head outside for money if you can't afford it, but you likely
can.  The item shop also rocks here.  Heal up the airship and head out.  No mid
or high altitude here, so just head north for the tower of the sun.

As you approach, there's a wall of light in the way.  Fiona tells us to defeat
guardians protecting the tower.  If you look around, there are three statues on
the ground around here.  You can take them in any order.  I won't list them
seperately, as they all handle the same way
_________________________________
* Boss(es): Dike, Eunomia, Eirene *
===============================================================================
They are listed clockwise, so if you want to hunt a specific one down, do so.
Dike is the easiest, all she does is use Dark Ray.  Eunomia attacks and uses
Dark ray.  Eirene heals herself and uses Lumeira.  Regardless of which lady
one you're fighting, just treat it as a high altitude battle.  All the standard
buffs (support shot, magic and defense shield, attack up).  And then blast away
with Fiona healing.
===============================================================================

When they're all dead you can enter the tower of the sun.  Save before you
enter and then head in.

o==================o
Tower of the Sun
o==================o

Before we begin, prepare to defend yourself from instant death.  This basically
means that Fiona needs to be immune to elements so she can revive.  A creature
called Thanatos lives here, and he has the ability to kill instantly.  Be ready
or just run from battles with them.

A scene when you enter, and then we're on our way.  Head into the tower proper.
This place operates on a set of teleporters, and is your primary method of
movement.  Step on the teleporter to the right in here.  Follow the path down
(look at map for help) and collect the Eterna Plate.  Give it to Eddie and move
back to the first room.  Take the teleporter to the left.  Follow the same path
as before to find a Hat of Darkness.  Equip it to Melody and go back.  take the
only teleporter in this area that you haven't taken yet.  A simple switch, hit
it and go back.

In the area where you found the Eterna Plate, Take the new teleporter.  At the
end of the hall is a new teleporter.  In the next area, head up the path and
hit the switch.  Now, take the left path to a new teleporter.  At the bottom
of the map is a switch and Korol.  Luck of the draw on it, hopefully the mp
filling one, but again it's a 1 in 4 shot.  The one I got was appraising
Gadgets.  If you get the same, appraise the new item for a golden clay figure.

Back up the path and take the right path.  Pick up the White Cannon Plans and
ignore the new teleporter, it's a dead end.  Instead, go back through the one
we took to get here and take the bottom left teleporter in this room for the
next area.  Just cross the path and take the next teleporter here.  Open the
chest for a Korol Attire.  Anyone can use it, but Melody makes the best use of
it, since it protects from a lot of statuses.  take the next two teleporters to
reach a new room called the Hall of the Gods.  Before you even move, use Fionas
skills to heal everyone up.  Now, spend all of your skill points.  When you're
ready, go left and up into the large room.  Carmine's here, and he wants to
fight.  No save point this time boys and girls, it's time to end him.
_______________
* Boss: Carmine *
===============================================================================
He's up to his old tricks, and still just as deadly.  Play this game as
defensively as possible, if you lose, it's back to the beginning of this
dungeon.  Have Fiona start by casting Blessing Breeze on herself (Spiritual
Light if you have it).  Eddie should just overdrive and Combo Attack as usual.
Melody works well with Frost, and Pad can use Random shot or Buster Shot.  Keep
the pressure on him and have Fiona heal when needed.  Any items you have arent
gonna do a lot in your inventory, so spend them.  If you fail, return to the
Land of Korols and stock up before you try again.
===============================================================================

Once he falls (For the last time) we get a short cutscene and we get to move
along.  Pick up the Eterna Mace for Melody and a golden chalice.  Heal everyone
up and move north.  Teleport to the next area.  Get the Eterna mittens and the
Eterna Rod.  Equip everyone up and move along the path until you get to the
junction.  To the left is a switch.  Press it and take the right path for
another one.  Now head north and on to the teleporter.

In here open the chests for the Eterna Blade and the Mysterious Stone.  Save
your game.  This is a good room to level up a bit if you want to.  Now, the
next part is a bit confusing, so pay attention.  Head back to the room called
the Corridor of Immortality.  In here, there are two switches.  Depending on
the color of those switches, the teleporter in here takes us to different
places.  For this next part, change the switches so that you hit the different
combinations (Blue & Red, Blue & Blue, Red & Blue) and go into the teleporter
after you set up each one.  In each room is a switch, hit all three switches
and then change the two switches to Red & Red.

Back through the teleporter and save your game again.  Head into the next
teleporter for a scene and the final battle:
_____________
* BOSS: Terra *
===============================================================================
This battle is actually a bit dissapointing.  To start with, have Fiona use
Blue whirlwind on Eddie.  Then have him use Overdrive twice.  Depending on the
level of overdrive and combo attack, you can easily do over 2000 damage each
turn.  When Fiona's not healing, have her blue whirlwind Eddie so he can hit
Terra twice with that.  Since most of your team's weapons are holy based, you
can do massive damage just by attacking, so throwing out Eddie's Attack Boost
on Melody would be a good choice.  The big man simply can't stand up to 2000
damage a turn, and he'll go down quickly.  That was a pathetic final boss
===============================================================================

Because he wasn't the final boss.  After a lengthy scene, you get to fight the
REAL Final boss:
_______________
* Boss: Metheus *
===============================================================================
This is is boys and girls.  Same basic strategy as the last one works for this
one, since he's weak to light too.  You also get healed before this battle, so
don't worry about any damage that's built up over the last one.  Just keep</pre><pre id="faqspan-3">
combo attacking him and he goes down in no time.  I won't ruin it, just look at
the last strategy, just realize that you'll have to heal more this go around.
He's still not as bad as Carmine was.
===============================================================================

After the scene (Really interesting, but i'm not ruining anything)  we get to
run like hell.  NO warping, just run back to the exit.  BE SURE YOU FINISH THIS
MAP ROOM.  Back in the room where we battled Carmine, another scene.  Shirley
shows up and rescues us.  Now, just sit back and enjoy the ending.
_________
/Prolouge/ Loose Ends
===============================================================================
After the credits run, you get the option to save the game.  Do so.  Now, Load
the game back up to finish some more quests off.  I'm going to end the guide
here for now and get it uploaded to Gamefaqs, but I'll come back with the rest
of the extras later, that's a promise.  Thanks for hanging out with me so far,
and to all of you reading this, let me know how I did.

/Quests/
o======o======================================================================o
This section is dedicated to the 33 quests in the game.  To complete a quest,
you have to accept it at any adventurer's Assocation (Guild) in the game.  You
then have to (most of the time) seek out the person who posted the quest, the
name and / or location of this person is given in the quest description.  I'll
also give you the location here, in a bit more detail.  Then, you complete the
unique request the person wants.  In most cases, you just need to go to the
guild and report the quest complete, but for a few quests, you'll need to talk
to the petitioner again.  I will specify.

A side note, feel free to do these quests at any time you want in the story.
I usually complete them either as soon as they pop up or I'll wait and then
knock out seven or eight at a time.  it's up to you.

Before you start this quest, make sure you have Fiona in your party.  She's not
necessary, but the experience it brings will be good for her.  Also make sure
you either have a warp stone or fiona knows her warp gate skill.  When you're
ready, head to Mereville village.

Henry will be standing beside the northwest house in Mereville village.  Talk
to him and then fly to the Tower of Babel.  Head to the fourth floor (the one
with the save point) and down to the right side where you found the two chests.

Here, you'll find a mushroom in the water.  Press A near it to initiate battle.
(save first You will fight a series of six battles, with one mushroom in the
first one with increasing numbers in each battle.  you will fight four
mushrooms twice, then you will fight four mushrooms with a master mushroom.
After everything is dead, use that warp stone to get out and report your quest

of the tower of Babel and pick up the pendant, it's just to the left of the
fork.  Touch the save point and then warp out Via Stone or Spell (If fiona has
warp gate, use it)  Back to London to report it complete for your reward and
the end of the E rank quests.

| Quest 06 | Siberian Absolute Zero |
o==========o========================o
| Contact: | Aksel                  |
| Rewards: | 50 ADP, 4200 G         |
o==========o========================o

If you followed my advice, you have Yang Gui along for this one.  Find Aksel at
the northernmost table in the St. Petersburg bar.  Talk to him and he tells you
about a set of airship plans in the Siberian Base.  Even though the base is
smashed up, he thinks they may have survived and the cabal can't get ahold of
them.  Head to the siberian Base...

..Or what's left of it.  As you navigate this area, you may want to go ahead
and complete the new map.  We'll probably do it sometime anyway, so no time
like the present.  Anyway, as you approach the last area in the place, you'll
get a scene and a battle with a very angry robot.  If you haven't messed with
your equipment, Eddie should still have the Icebrand and the Infinity Gear.
This makes him deadly against this guy.  Just Overdrive and combo attack. He'll
fall eventually, and with Yang-Gui healing, there's no real worry of him
hurting you.

Collect the plans and head back to Aksel.  Then report the quest complete for
your reward.  We get the plans and the cash... can't beat that.  Back to the
story.

set of airship equipment as well as your normal stuff.  First talk to Jan in
the London Inn, and then talk to people in town until you uncover information
about the four ingredients.

        Moon Tail - London Sewers (Near save point)
Night Spider Silk - Pyramid (First right branch)
High Quality Jelly - Tower of Babel (2nd floor, just before stairs)
Concentrated Spore - Eterna Mine (second branch off wooden platform)

Meet Ana in the bar.  She tells us about a rat that stole an important scarf.
It's hiding in the Eterna Mines.  Head there now.  The rat is in the cavern
near the save point.  Kill him, it's not hard, and then warp out.  Back to
Ana to talk to her, then report your quest at the Guild for your reward.

Our contact is to the right of the northernmost building.  Talk to him to find
out that a local dragon is looking for some adventurers to challenge him.  Save
your game and then point your airship east.  You'll see the dragon.  Fly into
him to trigger a battle.  If you're working with the guide, you should have the
Angel sabre, this will make the battle easier.  Get Power Boost, Support shot,
Guard shield, and in this case, Magic Shield up, and then just go on the attack
against him.  Have Fiona heal if needed, but otherwise attack.  When he falls,
he gives us a set of Dragon Gun Plans.  Report back to the Dehli guild for your
reward.

o==========o=================o
| Quest 10 | Lost Pet        |
o==========o=================o
| Contact: | Scarlett        |
| Rewards: | 100 ADP, 7000 G |
o==========o=================o

Find Scarlett in the St. Petersburg Bar, Talk to her to learn that her pet
dragon has flown off and she needs someone to beat the hell out of it and drag
it back.  That'd be us.  Fly around south of Cairo until you get a battle.  Not
hard, especially if you have the Angel Sabre from Tokyo, which you should if
you follow the guide.  Just cast your buffs, Power Boost, Support Shot, and
Guard shield, and then pound it into the dust.  Return to Scarlett to learn
that her pet returned, so we just beat the hell out of some random dragon and
gave it to her... Bet the going rate for dragons is more than 7000 gold, we got
ripped off...  Anyway, report the quest and move on.

o==========o========================o
| Quest 11 | The El Dorado Treasure |

first one that has no monetary reward and no contact.  Head to El Dorado and
through the gate.  Go to the screen with the save point and touch it.  Equip
the Infinity Gear to Eddie if it's not already, and head to the east and into
the large building.  In here there's a treasure chest on the center platform.
Approach it for a scene and a battle.

It's weakness is wind, so have Melody use Aeria.  Beware it's cry of death
skill, it instantly kills, but Fiona is immune if you gave her the talisman of
light, and she can revive anyone else it kills.  Just treat it as any other]
boss and prepare accordingly. You won't have much trouble.  After it falls, you
get the beautiful gem automatically.  Head to New York or all the way back to
london to report the quest.  Get the gem appraised for a Phantom Prism, an item
that prevents your chance of being targeted.

o==========o=================o
| Contact: | Desmond         |
| Rewards: | 140 ADP, 4000 G |

there as part of the story, and talk to Desmond in the top area of the waiting
room, he should look familiar, we got an item back from the Tower of Babel for
him back in quest five.  He wants you to take him to El Dorado.  Back to your
airship and fly there.  Take him to the screen with the save point for a scene.
His late wife requests that we take him back to London.  Save at the save point
and then warp out of here.  Back on the airship and back to London for another
scene.  Since we're already here, report the quest.

to fight a rock golemn, but he's not hard to kill especially if you took my
advice and have your dad with you.  Three rock golemns down and we find our
treasure, The Old Clock.  Head back to London and appraise it for a crystal
Skull... Maybe we'll go wrestle crocs and swing on a bullwhip later...  It ups
all your elemental resistances, so it's good for Fiona.  that and the Talisman
of light make her very well defended.  Report the quest complete downstairs for
the ADP.

A few rules when it comes to E-mailing me:

- Don't be a jerk
    Even If you don't have a question relating to the guide or anything to add
    feel free to e-mail me anyway, I like to just chat with people, but keep
    in mind that I expect a bit of civility.  E-mailing me just to tell me how
    much you hated my guide is stupid and a waste of both our times.  If you
    have something to say, say it nicely or don't say it.

- Don't Spam me
    I take "Spam" to mean (1) don't offer to sell me anything or send me ads.
    All will be deleted. (2) Don't send the same e-mail seventy times, no
    matter how legit it is.  If I don't respond within three or four days,
    send it again, but I don't need it thirty times. (3) no attachments.  Dont
    do it, period.  I will delete the message and ban you from future ones.

- Be clear
    This is covered with two simple guidelines: (1) use english.  I don't read
    or write enough of any other language to understand it, so if you send me
    something, it must be in english, and don't send things in "Leet" speak or
    "chat" language.  If you can't bother to spell things out, don't bother.
    (2) put something in the subject line like "NOSTALGIA GUIDE" or the like.
    things with generic or no subject line get deleted quickly,

Follow the rules and I'm happy to talk to you, even if it has nothing to do
with the game.  keep it reasonable though.
