Maybe you can post comments on my blog for now...

Version 1.6
This Guide is for the English version of Luminous Arc 2
Pre-C&D letter and disclaimer, legal mumbojumbo etc:
This FAQ is intended for Gamefaqs only. Any unauthorized posting on any
other website without the written consent of the mangatron is prohibited.
You, the reader, are hereby forbidden from posting it on any website, blog,
forum, myspace, facebook, youtube comments sections, etc unless granted
permission from the mangatron. Remember. The mangatron has worked on legal
forms throughout his life. Fear him. Praise him. Splatter him. :P
And no Twittering any part of this FAQ without the mangatron's consent. :P
Do not steal this FAQ. Give credit where it is due. If you steal, that
means you had zilch to begin with. This is why there is money, nothing
is free in this world. You give money to get something in return. That
is, unless this FAQ was handed to you on a silver platter with a cherry
on top. But who has friends like that? ;)
Note this FAQ may contain what you call spoilers. Well gee, if the fact
of knowing there is two different endings wasn't spoiler enough then...
Due to the nature of this guide, it's unavoidable and you have been warned.
Due to my kind heart I may have set spoiler warnings throughout.
This guide will assume you have played through the game already. For
those who did not, spoiler warnings are somewhat present.

Version Changelog (in descending order)
________________
Version 1.6
-Added my translation I did for the GameFaqs board of the Japanese wiki's
choice selection for the endings.
-Added the personal touch labeling so you (hopefully) won't get confused
as to what's my opinion and what is fact.
-Added a bit more people/companies to thank for assisting in mobile FAQ
writing/typing.
-Also enhanced section 6 and 7. Wow, didn't that just sound spy-ish?
-The blog address for this FAQ has changed to reflect my seperation of fun
and games from my personal blog.
-Easier search function.
________________
Version 1.5
-Added the heart-filling Althea ending run for Althea in place of the old
choices that were there previously.
-The above note then corrected an numbering error in the previous versions.
-Preparing the ver 2 guide in anticipation of new guides.
________________
Version 1.2
-Various typo fixes
-More evidence added
-Incorrectly listed "Pump up" as an OP (Fixed to ED)
-Why is the previous entry a part of the changelog? lol
________________
Version 1
-Decision to make a FAQ about the two endings in the game reached. Yes.
-Decision to not make a walkthrough already reached. Still NO.
-Decisions decisions...
______________!
To-do list !
______________!
-If I'm insane enough I might try to find the Love Triangle ending (filling
both Althea's and Fatima's FP hearts in one [new game] run)
-Someday properly type the 5. section better...
-Need to gain weight. Sometimes I feel as if this is a goal I cannot reach.
Which is a good thing, because I once contemplated becoming a cop just to
earn the right to pig out on Donuts in the name of the law, lol.
-As I am a mobile warrior, I'm interested in knowing how my FAQs appear on
Android and iPhone OS devices. I've already tried Windows Mobile Pro and
Standard, as well as the LG KG800 OS. I can assume I've tried Symbian OS as
well since I've run several Java machines on Windows Mobile, with Opera Mini
reading FAQs through www.gamefaqs.com. So, if you can contribute which OS and
phone used to read my FAQs as well as what program was used, I'd appreciate it
and will add it to this here FAQ, credits to you of course.

Luminous Arc 2 is the blah de bah blah sorry couldn't help imitating Pop
just then. If you read my Intermission And Choices guide you'd know what's
supposed to be here. But in a nutshell, Luminous Arc 2 (LA2) is the sequel
to Luminous Arc (LA1), but in name only (as far as the MAIN story is
concerned.) There are cameos of LA1 look-alikes but that's not what this
FAQ is covering.
What we're covering here is something rather unique to a DS game of this
kind, or something rarely done. What this FAQ covers is any and all
answers you may need concerning the two different endings present in
this game.
This game features two different endings for the two Witches in question,
Althea and Fatima. There is one set pattern on how to obtain these endings,
so let's boogie.

[2.] HOW TO USE FAQ ?
_______________________?
Uh well, just read :P
Okay seriously, to go to a specific section just search the title of where
you want to go in the Table of Contents in whatever program you are using.
Example:
To go to the Introduction, copy
[1.]
and paste it in the search box of whatever you are using to read this FAQ.
Or you could just look up a bit. Honestly, I won't assume you can CTRL+F
as I myself use many different kinds of programs to read FAQs and
CTRL+F'in isn't common in all of them.
Though, this guide will assume you know how to play this game. If you think
it is hard or if you can't even reach the first story change event then
please read the user manual that came with your game.
This guide will also assume you know basic reading skills. I don't mean
to insult you but it's required to know that you can read and that you can
read the rather small text involved in the pre-battle choices.
This guide will then give you tips on how to make the right choices, as
I am not responsible for whatever mistake you make in your quest to win
the heart of the girl you like.
If you've got questions, if you've got comments, and if you can find me,
maybe you can hire... the A-Team. Er no lol I mean just chug along yonder
to my blog here:
http://animangatron.blogspot.com/2009/10/luminous-arc-2-endings-guide
-version-16.html
and leave questions, comments, helpful insight and such without any
registration required whatsoever. Meaning you don't have to be a Blogger
member to post comments. Any contributions made there that needs to be here
will be added and credited to you, the spammer. :P

[3.] TIPS !
_____________________!
What we have here is a rare opportunity for me to guide you just as the
Force guided Luke Skywalker to send a Torpedo down the Death Star chute.
What this means is that the Empire no longer- uh I mean what this means
is that I'm gonna to be the boss of you noooow~~ I am the boss of you now~
and you're not going to complain. Ahem, on with the show:
-When going through the pre-battle conversations, do not mash the A button
or rapidly tap the screen with your stylus. Patience, young one.
-When actually choosing your choice in the pre-battle conversations do not
use the stylus. I'll assume you were like me as one who bought the North
American DS Lite, of which the first production units were built with a
defective touch screen, which registers taps where you didn't tap. But it's
not a problem with me as I use a first production run Ice Blue DS Lite
imported from Japan, as well as a first production model DS. So I, and this
guide will not be held responsible for whatever mistake or wrong ending
you did if you used your stylus to select the choices.
-I recommend using the D-pad and A button when selecting choices.
-Plan ahead. Choose which ending you want before playing so you can be
prepared for the choices ahead. Remember, the heart of a girl is at stake
here! (quite literally)
-Holding the L button won't make you bypass the 128 bit choice encryption. Er
what I mean is it's a choice, so no skipping it. Press that L button to your
hearts content. Except when you find out some of the story is different
because holding L would make you skip on some ending specific story events.
So to skip, or not to skip, that is your choice, but I will not be held
responsible for whatever mistake you make when holding that L button.
-If you don't want to use this guide, use your judgement! Getting the Althea
ending would usually require you to either side with her or show Fatima
who is boss. Getting a Fatima ending would require you to interrogate her
extensively and wring every bit of information out of her, usually extending
the chit-chat. When you feel like insulting Fatima, there's your Althea
ending! When you don that FBI suit and start questioning Fatima's modus
operandi that's when your heart turned dark and reveals the Fatima ending.
-You need to have your party at high levels when gearing for the Fatima
ending, as Chapter 28 may or may not be hard for you. Your choice, but
don't say I didn't help you.
-If you save your game, and turn off your DS and crash in for the day,
always remember to write down which ending you are doing. I will not be held
accountable for whatever reason made you not remember which ending you are
doing. Knowing is only half the battle.
-If you want to do a speed run to get a particular ending, I suggest doing
a no-intermission run which is easier when done in New game+ by using
characters in battle who do not have a heart on their portrait image. I did
this in one of my playthroughs which cost me about 6 hours of my life.
6 hours? Maybe not so speedy after all...
How to get the ending you want:
-By correctly choosing the proper answer for the ending you want.
What that does:
-Doing so will give the girl a nearly full FP heart. ie If you go for the
Althea ending, her heart will be more filled than Fatima's, and vice versa.
At this time I know it is impossible to have both girl's hearts nearly
filled on a first playthrough. Although, I have not yet tried mixing and
mashing the answers together for an Althea x Fatima x Roland love triangle
ending, at this time no such ending exists.
So, if you want an Althea ending, choose the answers listed under the
character in question. Don't try to mix things around by mixing one Fatima
answer in the middle of Althea answers just to read some part of the story,
there's a reason why a minimal 4 runs are required to complete this game,
which is more than enough time to choose what ever choices you want after
getting these two endings, but we're not here to talk about that. We want
some endings, and now I'm going to guide you a la laser guided bomb style.
So with those hell-pful hints out of the way, let's get jiggly-boobie with
it, shall we? On to the meat of the FAQ! Or veggie if you are a vegetarian.

[4.1] JAPANESE WIKI POINT-BASED CHOICES >
__________________________________________>
What's in a name? Well, pointed out by a kind soul at the GameFaqs board for
Luminous Arc 2, was a link to a Japanese Wiki about ending choices in a
point-based setup, which was, of course, in Japanese. Below you will see my
personal translation for these choices and how they work.
Basically, the magic number is 9. Get less than nine, Althea is your girl.
Get more than 9 and Fatima's got your back. What is unconfirmed, however,
is whether or not these will fill the FP heart of the girls in question.
Maybe you can find that out, ja? On how to use the choices below, it goes
in this order: Chapter, choice selection and the point(s) of that choice.
Another way is select the choices below, and you'll get Fatima's ending.
Select the choices not listed below and there's your Althea ending. Due
to the lack of points setup for the answers not listed below, I choose to
not add the Althea ending choices as I have no idea what their points are.
So rather than embarress myself, in the words of Megatron, "Use your
imagination."
-)Chapter 03: "You should cooperate" +1
-)Chapter 08: "Ask about Fatima's plan" +1
-)Chapter 11: "Why use the Demon Blade?" Follow that with:
---> "Murder isn't peace!" +1
---> "We should work together" +2
-)Chapter 13: "Ask about Farham" +1
-)Chapter 15: "Revenge for my father" +1
-)Chapter 18: "To protect the people" Follow that with:
---> "Master Mattias is wrong" +1
---> "There's no true justice" +2
-)Chapter 21: "We have to cooperate" Follow that with:
-> "I want to help you" +1
And then follow that with:
---> "This is master's will" Then select -> "You're our friend" +3
---> "We have the same goal" +2
Anyone care to let me know how much of an FP heart these choices can fill up?
Here's the link to the wiki: (if it's still around >_>)

[4.2] CHAPTER BASED PRE-BATTLE CHOICES >
__________________________________________>
For the love of the girl, Althea will go first. Take that you jiggly-boobied-
Fatima fans, fire always beats ice! Never go against the ways of the
pokemon! But in the end I'm a Dia fan so I still got shafted by the
non-existence of Dia ending. But, thinking about it, Dia's Final Intermission
is amusing enough to be considered a Dia ending to me, so yeah. But wait,
it's a good thing there is no Dia ending, Dia is for me, not Roland! Gyar
har har I still have a shot at Dia.....
Please excuse my zaniness. And for the record, these are the choices that will
fill the FP hearts of either Althea and Fatima on one (1) run for one or the
other ending. Provided you Best Break their Intermission's as well. This was
done on my own, not using the above Japanese wiki. I of course cannot test the
wiki points above due to it requiring an entirely new game file...

At first it was thought that the different routes in chapter 22 also decided
the fate of either ending, but it is not the case. At least, in the english
adaption, choosing "Save Fatima" is NOT required for the Fatima ending, as
it has been confirmed by me and yingchenluo of the GameFaqs boards that
Fatima's ending can be done in either route, as well as in Althea's ending.
What is different in the chapter 22 routes are the Intermissions available,
for more on that please consult my Intermission FAQ, also available at
GameFaqs by me, einsteinecker AKA The mangatron.

[5.] DIFFERENCES AND REWARDS OF BOTH ENDINGS $
___________________________________________________$
Spoilers abound in case you forgot that...
So, after all that effort, you want to know what went down in your quest for
the ending you chose. Well, not to worry, I will list here the things seen
and not seen, whether or not I am complete is up in the air, but I do know
that what I am about to tell you is for your eyes only and true to the word.
So let's get down and funky, shall we?
After completion of the game, thou hast saveth thy game, and upon further
inspection of the Bonus Section, it hath revealeth the following items:
In the Galleries:
-If you finished an Althea ending for the first time, you will get the
"Phoenix Inferno" CG and Bonus Art 1.
-If you finished an Fatima ending for the first time, you will unlock the
"Frozen Void" CG and Bonus Art 2.
-If you completed both endings (In whatever order you desired), you will
unlock the Profile section, with basic info of the LA2 characters and their
respective voices will be available for playback. For best results to hear
the voice playback, the game must be saved with BGM off before you defeat
the final boss, this is preferred once you have seen both ending credits.
Well, interested in an ending but don't want it? You will miss out on game
% completion and for the lack of better closure, but for amusement purposes
I will try to list the differences of both endings from what I know.
For the lack of a good keyboard, this section will be simply typed. Althea
goes first :P and in case it wasn't apparent, these events take place after
chapter 22, during the end phase of chapter 27 and beyond.
And in case it wasn't apparent, you can very well see the pre-battle choice
differences in the Chapter based guide above. On with it:
__________________
IN ALTHEA'S ENDING:
__________________
-In Althea's Final Intermission, she runs from you. Chase her down, boy.
Just head to the palace. All the purrty girls hang out there you know...
-Before the protection spell is cast, Ayano asks you to stay with Althea.
Fatima is pissed, calling Althea a "Damned Beast Fiend."
-After the protection spell is cast, go to the audience room and select
"Ayano's worry", which reveals some talk about "That Fatima girl."
-In chapter 28, Fatima reaches a decision. She will carry out Mattias's will.
But wait, Mattias didn't leave a Will behind....
-After the Chapter 28 battle, Althea requests the Demon blade from Roland...
and commits seppuku. Well, not really. The chest isn't the stomach, so yeah.
-Yeah! Go love magic! There's nothing greater than a man loving a woman!
-Rasche can't watch the ensuing love making. Dia wants to bond with Rasche,
no chest stabbing required. Hell I'll stab that lousy Rasche, Dia is MINE!!!
-Fast forward to the final battle, Mother Elicia doesn't know when to quit,
so Althea decides to cast the Phoenix Inferno along with Roland and burn
burn burn the Mother land. No, I didn't mean she wants to burn it along with
Roland....
-Ayano will work behind the scenes to make Althea the next Mage Queen.
-Dia overhears Ayano's ulterior motives.
-Phoenix Inferno is cast with a very special CG.
-In the ending credits scenes, Fatima was dragged to the party by Josie,
which then leads to Dia deciding that Fatima is to stay at the academy and
teach the shadow magic. Hmmm, Fatima in teacher outfit... Roland is to study
magic and such under the watchful eye of Dia, though.
-Althea is then revealed wearing a Kaph designed dress.
-Roland was waiting for Althea. Weren't we all?
-Althea then yells at Roland for being late (wat? Blame Kaph :P)
-Roland tells Althea she burns brighter than the fireworks Gaston torched.
Wait, I think I said that the wrong way...
-Almost instantly Tsundere'ingly Althea smiles and agrees to dance with you.
Dance you sunnova Master you :P
-Or watch the Dancing Queen, see that girl, walk that thing....er...
__________
PROS: (personal opinion anyways)
__________
-The Althea ending, to me anyways, is considered to be the True Ending
version of this game, as Althea, said to be a Beast Fiend, is able to stay
human thanks to her Final Bond with the Master, Roland. That's love magic
for you. Don't believe me? There was even a Korean Drama that once said
"There's nothing greater than the power of love." so go fish.
-Oh, and if you haven't figured it out already, even Disney believes in the
power of love. Beauty and the Beast, anyone? Except the beauty is the beast,
so... well, to me anyways :P
-More info on the Final Bond is available in "Memoirs".
-If it wasn't apparent, Althea's theme is the song "Future Mage Queen",
which, if you haven't figured it out already the Mage Queen is one who
commits a great act to benefit all of humanity. Sort of. Ayano, using 4000
years of power, plots with Dia to make Althea the next Mage Queen, so yeah,
seeing that song in the "Now playing" scrolling text was a huge spoiler...
-In the ending credits, everyone is happy. Even Fatima, sort of, who was
surprised to see Roland again. I mean, come on, she even bonded with him so
in a way they are stuck together forever..."Eternal loyalty"? "Accept this
kissu with all my love"? Yeah, she's happy alright...
-Althea actually dances with you. No not you. Roland. How can you virtually
dance with a girl, you silly gamer you...
___________
CONS: (My personal opinion at work)
___________
-Althea needs bigger breasts. Well, not too big. Well to me they are perfect,
but maybe if they were Dia sized they'd be nice to stare upon...
-No, I haven't touched Althea's breasts. Yet. Major CON right there.
-Fatima went to the party dressed in that? She'd have exhibitioned to all
the Knights, peasants and such with that outfit! RAWR
-No one dresses formally to the party. Rasche, drop that spear will ya...
-The queen dressed formally for the party. But it's a CON because well,
she always dresses like that... hot spring conversation for her, anyone?
-Karen doesn't make out with you. Poor you.
-Luna doesn't make out with you. Too bad.
-Can I stop here? Because this is an ALTHEA ENDING. No other girl would
want to make out with you, you silly....
__________________
IN FATIMA'S ENDING:
__________________
-In Althea's Final Intermission, she tells you to go to Fatima. Such a nice
girl, that Althea...
-When Ayano looks for the protective spell, she asks you to stay with Althea,
in which you then leave with Fatima to go see Mattias' grave. Althea is
getting angry, you won't like her when she's angry....
-Althea follows you to Mattias' grave. The last straw for her. Going green...
-After Ayano casts the protective spell, go to the Audience Room and check
"Ayano's worry" to read more about Althea's younger days when she tried
to use a med pack on Private Squirrel.
-In chapter 28, you fight Althea. It's a long trek, them stairs...
-Upon defeating Althea (NOO!), Althea cannot control the beast within her.
And I told you you won't like her when she's angry...
-Fatima wants you to commit homicide and stab her with something, so she
can use the astral projection spell and invade Althea's dream.
-Roland stabs, get's arrested, gets tossed into that meagraxiues whatever
prison and end of game. HELL'S ENDING ACQUIRED.
-Sorry lol the above text is invalid. Roland stabs Fatima to activate
the Fatima soul traveling mode. Absolute trust is required to bring her back.
-Althea is back to normal, returns to your party without the godly HP she
had when you fought her, and Fatima awakens to a screaming Roland. Seriously,
Roland would've went to jail if she hadn't woke up, that's why...
-Fast forward to the last boss battle, boss no want to die, etc.
-Fatima says there's still a way to end the game, and that they must cast
Frozen Void. Cold, darkness...just like the dinosaur's end...
-This shadow frost spell causes absolute death and destruction. Hooray for
a destructive ally...
-Roland says to Althea "Thank you for becoming my friend." Roland, that is
not what friends are for.
-Fatiiiiiimeow!
-Dia wishes they could've met under different circumstances.
-Fatima notes how she's sacrificing her life to save the people she hated
most. Not.
-Frozen Void is cast, time freezes, everyone's in stasis, etc...
-Fast forward to the ending credits scenes
-Althea decides to go in training. She wants to do centering. With Ayano.
She doesn't want to go beast mode when she gets in an argument. Althea my
dear, I'm always here for you....
-Althea wishes you and Fatima the very best. Yeah right, look at the
discontent in her face and the sound of displeasure in her tone...
-Fatima is revealed, and wears a rather dark gown. Kaph Designer Fashion.
-Ignoring the fireworks, Roland tells Fatima he likes how the moonlight
is blinding her eyes. Wait, I said that wrong again...
-Fatima acts awkwardly.
-Roland wants to dance with Fatima.
-Fatima doesn't know how to dance...guess where this is heading...
Ending animation shows Fatima doing a bow, then blushes. Wait, I thought
Roland asked her to dance....
___________
PROS: (My mind speaks this time)
___________
NONE. Sorry. LOL.
-Ok, joking aside, this ending sort of shows you what Althea would've been
had she almost went into a sort of beasty mode. Wow. Did I just type that?
-I consider this the difficult ending, due to the high level of Althea and
her HP level and her Ignis Blaze and...she's all the way up top of the cliff.
Unlike in the Althea ending route Roland and Althea spawn close to Fatima
so if you gave Althea whatever garment Lapis you have you could end that
map reeeeaal quick...Provided you brought her to Ignis Blazing levels like
I did.
-Former Master Mattias' will was partially fulfilled.
-Was the above line really a PRO?
-The Queen of Carnava can rest well knowing that the perpetraitor of the
witch conflict is now an ally.
-Honestly, I can't seem to find anything good to say about this ending...
Unlike the next things I am about to say...
___________
CONS: (I would have kept this to myself, but it is my guide...)
___________
-I call this Hell's Ending Version due to the fact not everyone is happy.
I mean, Althea wasn't happy. Ayano wasn't happy either. Remember she asked
Roland to stay with Althea, only for Roland to go on a date to the cemetery
with Fatima? Bad babysitter you are, Roland. Go to your room :P
-Roland's babysitting blunder caused Ayano to worry and thereby spill the
beans on Althea's past and the Med-Pack fiasco. If it weren't for you,
Roland, Ayano onee-chan wouldn't have worried! RAWR
-So. Like, Roland chose Fatima and all that, but.... think about it. Would
you marry a girl like that? Considering that their hearts became one which
grants Fatima unlimited uses of the Frozen Void spell... I can see one
morning when Roland wakes up in the Frozen Void....
-See where I'm going with this? Due to Roland placing a lot of trust in
Fatima, she can use her astral projection anytime. There's no killing that
girl! She's inhuman! A.....BEAST FIEND!!!!!11!11!!!
-Joking aside, why choose this ending at all? Karen doesn't make out with you.
-Luna doesn't make out with you either.
-Zilch on the Queen making out with you too.
-You're too old for Rina.
-If you like Pop THAT way, I'm dialing the FBI hotline...
-This ending doesn't give you an Ayano ending.
-This ending doesn't give you a Fatima ending either. I mean, NO DANCING.
-If you call bowing and blushing "dancing", I'm calling the Elite Beat Agents.
Personal feelings aside, it's time to sort the facts, evidence and what not
into some real, cold, hard truth. Without further ado, let's get jinky
with it:
_____________________________________________________
Truth as to why Althea is the True Ending Version:
_____________________________________________________
-She has more special CG's than Fatima.
-You can engage her early. First engagement actually.
-Her engagement CG changes after chapter 17. +2 for her.
-She has more voice work done.
-She has that mysterious voice sample in her Profile, Ember witch voice 230,
and voice 228.
-She has 3 copies of the same voice in samples 207, 208, and 209.
-She has 2 copies of the same voice in samples 217 and 218.
-She is the first to engage Roland.
-She saves you from Mattias in chapter 15. If it weren't for her...
-She specially Unites with you in the off-limits Rose Garden. >_>
-There was a special CG just for that.
-She specifically asks Roland to terminate her should she go beasty on
everyone.
-Roland cushions her fall when the Golem tosses her in the first battle.
-Roland specially goes to acquire a Death Beetle's horn just for her.
-Roland was crying when Althea awoke from her fever after the
acquisition of the Horn of the Death Beetle.
-Roland specifically became a Master to save her.
-Roland sucked the living daylights out of her after becoming a Master.
-Her Intermission's are of more friendly chit chat than Fatima's.
-She assured Roland that she cares not if he is Mattias's son. (Sort of)
-Roland assures her that she isn't a real beasty at heart by using the
same method Althea used on him above.
-The Fire Crest recognized her otherworldly talents and accepted her.
-The OP (opening intro) gears more toward Althea.
-She gets more Best Break's than Fatima.
-She is saved more times by Roland than Fatima is.
-She has a more elegant Final Bonding with Roland. Rasche's disgust is
proof of this.
-She shows her love for Roland more often than Fatima.
-When Roland engages her, she boosts his attack automatically, which is
his more better stat than MAG.
-She has nice hair.
-She has blue eyes.
-She has an ahoge (the strand of hair atop her head)
-She is smaller than Roland (she is at 5 feet)
-She is younger than Roland (By one year)
-She wears a pantyhose type of legging with no type of skirt or pants
visible...
-And, later on in WF Witch mode she wears stockings. *insert Yahoo yodel*
-She believes, which is true power. I mean she says "Belief is true power!"
-She has a hawt sister.
-She is a direct result of the world's most perfect mother.
-In one of the official artworks, she is on the left hand side of Roland,
where his Runic Engine resides.
-She fights you less.
-She has a cute swimsuit in the Kopin Valley Hot Spring conversations.
-She tells Roland she wants to wear a teeny weeny bikini someday.
-If you had no FAQs or guides, it's easier to get her ending.
-She has a nasty long list of things here...

Truth as to why Fatima is the Hell's Ending Version:
_____________________________________________________
-You fight her and her minion Josie many times.
-She insults Roland and Althea more times than I can remember.
-She tries to take the Enigmatron from Dia, and she uses force on Luna.
All without saying please...
-In the OP (Opening intro) she is shown fighting more times than otherwise.
-You end up saving her from execution on either route of chapter 22.
-She got pummeled more times by Barva than the others.
-In order to get her ending you have to do the pre-battle choices right.
-She only has 2 Intermissions.
-She's not very friendly on the two Intermissions. At least, when trying
to get a Best Break.
-In one of the official artwork, she is on the right hand side of Roland,
by the hand he wields the sword.
-She has big breasts.
-Rumour has it her breasts are equal to the size of Josie's head. (Hint:
Josie's Final Intermission CG)
-She has more 18+ artwork available online than any other LA2 girl, more
so than Vanessa of LA1 maybe.
-I leave it to you to figure out the above sentence.
-She's older than Roland o_O
-Despite that hot body, no male lusted after her (it). At least Vanessa of
LA1 had Nikolai running after her...
-Her eyes are red-ish.
-Is that supposed to be a crown on that hat?
-What is that red jewel on her chest? Is that her Lapistier? In such open
view that is...
-She's wearing stockings. +1 in my book.
-Her hair covers one eye. How does she fight? The Dark Side?
-She can use astral projection. But medical reports indicate just about
anyone can do that... "Out of body experience".
-She has a halter-top'ish swimsuit in the Kopin Valley Hot Spring
conversations.
-For someone who dresses the way she does, she seems awefully embarrassed
Roland get's to see her in a not-less-revealing-than-her-witch-outfit
bathing suit.
-She unites with Roland too easily. What happened to all the previous
fighting, the insults, the cold stares? She could've played hard to get...
-She has less special CG's than Althea.
-Her Final Intermission CG is nothing much to talk about, being overshadowed
by the presence of Mattias taking up nearly half the image.
-Even in the ending credits animation she still has one eye covered by
her hair...
-In the Hot Spring she feels like she is going to melt...
-She has less voice work done.
-She has less battle sound bytes.
-She likes older men.
-She can fly (or is that a Josie thing?)
-When Roland engages her, she automatically boosts his MAG stat, his less
than stellar strength.
-I added a lot of unnecessary stuff here...
You know, I would go on and on, but the evidence is staggering in supporting
my claims. Whether or not you believe any of this, that is up to you, but
remember that you are reading this, from a Japanese media researcher in me,
the words of the same man who tore through every bit of
Mahoraba ~Heartful Days~, and the same man who attacked all sides to the
theories of Tokimeki Memorial ~Only Love~. I also speak japanese and have
done a rather nice number of fansub translations for a number of groups, and
am in the process of doing my own work for the community in the line of
manga.
Invading the inner sanctum of Japanese games is nothing new to me, and this
game is not an exception. Perhaps this is the power of love... my love for
the witches and my love for this game.
Thank you for reading.

[6.] FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS @
_____________________________________@
Q. Who are you?
A. See my Intermission and Choices Guide available at GameFaqs. For
clarification, I am The mangatron, with cnet username einsteinecker.
Q. Why did you make this FAQ?
A. Well, my Intermission guide isn't really covering the Althea ending
choices, so I thought I'd give myself some closure and make this FAQ.
Q. Why the Fatima ending hate?
A. I'm not hatin on it. I'm a Dia fan, so this question is invalid.
Q. But you seem to like the Althea ending more.
A. That is my theory of it being the True Ending Version, not my personal
feelings. Ok, well, maybe I do like it more.
Q. See!? You no like Fatima end. I call Atlus now you sunnova...
A. Hey, it's not my fault I feel the Fatima ending is lacking in better
storytelling. I mean come on, Fatima needs to play harder to get, and she
needs to actually DANCE. In Althea's ending she was actually dancing so yeah,
that felt more complete. That and Althea and Roland had it going in full view
of everyone else. Fatima definitely had a lesser ending.
Q. I noticed a typo. Where do I sign?
A. That is my keyboard. The keyboard on my laptop is damaged and it no
longer works, so I'm on a 60% or less sized keyboard right now.
Q. I didn't get a Althea/Fatima ending!
A. Please read it again. I used plain english, ja? Ist das nicht gute?
Q. Althea's/Fatima's FP heart isn't filled!!
A. If that is your first playthrough, only one of them will have a nearly
filled heart by chapter 23. Fill that up in later playthroughs.
Q. Are these two the only endings in the game?
A. As it is known, yes. No Ayano ending, no Sophia ending, no Rina ending,
no Luna ending, etc...
Q. What does "Onee-chan" mean?
A. Japanese for a cuter version of "sister". Preferrably said by those
younger than the one who it is being said to, is also used by younger parties
not related to the one in question. On the other hand, "Onee-san" is a
respectful way of addressing ones (elder) sister, or elder in general. Between
siblings, though, "Aneki" is used by the younger sibling addressing the elder.
Calling Ayano "Oneesan" is just... insulting to her 4000+ years old age.
Note I am using romanizations from various western sources, language learning
guidebooks, dictionaries, etc.
Q. Perpetraitor is not a word.
A. I prefer that instead of perpetrate as the word "traitor" is mixed in.
Q. So how do I fill them FP hearts?
A. See my Intermission and Choices Guide by einsteinecker available at
GameFaqs.
Q. OMG! I got a Fatima ending without a FAQ/guide!
A. Good for you. Chammer :P
Q. Where the heck were you from Feb to May 2009?
A. I got sick for the second time in less than a month due to food poisoning
and/or stomach flu. Definitely one the worst, if not THE worst, sicknesses
I've had to ever endure.
Q. Oh, getting personal now are we?
A. Hey, I'm trying to lessen the confusion here. In my guides I speak my mind
a hell of a lot of times so I'll do what I can to differentiate between what
is in the game and what is from my mind.

[7.] SPECIAL THANKS and CREDITS
____________________________________
You too can be mentioned here if you submit something helpful!
-I would especially like to thank Marvelous Entertainment, ImageEpoch,
and Atlus USA for making this game possible. Without this game this FAQ
would not exist. Or maybe I would have written this as fiction...
-Special appreciation go out to JC Staff for animating the animation
sequences in the game. JC Staff... you made so much possible through
your works of animation, ultimately turning me into the unofficial
"Greatest Mahoraba Fan" in the english speaking world. Thanks again.
-Thanks to yingchenluo for confirming my actions for the
Chapter 22 choices in regards to its effect on getting Fatima's ending.
-Thanks go out to the GameFaqs message board for LA2 and the rather
incomplete info I got out of it >_>
-Thanks to myself for personally going through both endings of the game,
4 each for Althea and Fatima.
-Thanks to tablite and c-girl for artbook character descriptions and
artbook scans, respectively.
-Ryosagi for pointing me to the LA2 JP wiki for those points based
choices. Not cool for making me translate them :P
-Research In Motion, for their not-so-smart smartphone, the Blackberry.
There was a joke about business phones having a, I don't know, GOOD
camera? Something I liked about the Blackberries, a 8100 Pearl I had
had such a good camera, I was planning on taking up Mobile Photography.
-Palm, for [selling] something so good (Palm Treo 750), after me forking
over more than $500 for their self-produced failures (Palm T|X, Palm E2)
-Samsung, for their love/hate induced into me for their hit and miss line
of cell phones, dumb phones, smartphones and feature phones. (In my
experience, the Samsung Upstage, Samsung A707 Sync, Samsung SGH-i600,
[Samsung D807?], and the Samsung SGH-i617 Blackjack II) Hey, anyone
miss the days when there were just "Mobile Phones", stuff as large as 12
inches from base to antennae tip? Let's not forget the "Car Phone" lol.
-Thank you LG, for that odd, weak WAP browser you put in your KG800
LG Chocolate. But, I understand, I held that phone for the first time in
late 2006. Back when I thought browsing on ones PDA was king. Well it was,
except for Palm and their Blazer browser.
-And of course, Microsoft, for their very productive OS's. (Especially
Windows Mobile) I don't know about you, but I think most of the whiner
babies hating on WM and trumpeting things likes "iPhone FTW" or "Android
all the way" are the newer generation brats who have been dumbed down
by Apple's simplicity, or have no respect for how the past has shaped
the so called easy present and future that they have. We (my generation) had
it tough back in the day, when pencil and paper were a staple in making the
world go around.

This guide, for starters, is dedicated to Kina from the manga, Zero In.
As a mangaka, I know a lot about stories, no small part to being a book
reader growing up, but in the words of Rockhound from the Michael Bay film,
Armageddon, what happened to Kina is arguably a "Gawd damn great tragedy."
A shocker, as AT-Translation put it. In my opinion, surpassing even some of
movie's rare moments. Yeah, I'm one of those who even think Rambo 3's
Tank Meets Helicopter as epic lol... Wait a minute...
