BE SURE TO READ THIS FIRST PART! You can read this faq as long as you
don't change ANY part of it (including this small introduction). Also,
you can print it but only for use at your home, you may NEVER sell
this stuff or else you will make me really mad and maybe I won't work
anymore! Finally, if you want to use this faq on your site (or use any
part of it for other things, like writing your own faq or something) you
have to mail me and ask me for it, I will almost surely grant it to you!

1~. Missions
This is a listing of missions ordered by the world they take place in, and
obviously their specific number. Overall, each mission presents you with
three kinds of collectables - treasure chests, items and badges.
For the first one, "treasure chests", you just have to locate all the ones
that are available in your current map. Be aware that, often, not all of
them are acquirable in the very first time you play across a particular
mission, and you may be required to go back to previous ones in order to
grab skipped (or previously) unattainable treasure chests. Generally, you
can't access these chests because they are too far away, or too high, for
the skills of your current character.
The second one, "items"... these are usually unlocked by completing the
mission, or some additional goals (represented by a divided bar) it may
have. Defeating enemies also makes them drop items, and those are shown
(along with the ones acquired from treasure chests) in the right side of
the post-mission screen. As for the left side of that same screen, it
contains items awarded as part of missions.
The third, "badges", consist of up to three special badges that some
levels contain, and which unlock different things. The first one unlocks
that mission for the normal trial mode, the second awards you that mission
for the SP trial mode, and the third one fully unlocks that level for the
multiplayer "Mission Mode". That's the information I include to the right
of the mission number, ranging from "---" (a mission which contains no
badges at all) up to "OOO" (mission which has three badges), together with
the likes of "-O-" (mission which only has a SP trial badge).
Be aware that, here, sometimes I'll also provide a general strategy for
the mission at hand, if I think that one is really needed. Anyway, on to
what you really want to read...
Notes: This is a tough one. Start by going to the main square. Next, go
underground and take the path to tunnel number 2. Go back to the
main square, before heading to the kid's hangout (i.e. to the left
of the starting point, if you don't know what I am talking abut)
and interact with the green barrel. Go back to tunnel number 2,
talk to the kid and pick the third, the second and the third
answers. Continue by going to the forest, and jumping + hitting the
tree from which leaves are falling. Finally, head to the mansion
and defeat the boss.
Normal goal: Grab the drop items from the spinning enemies.
Trial goal: Complete this mission as quickly as possible.
SP goal: ---
Notes: Quickly head to the main square. Ignore the dragon (he is not
important now) and look for three of the spinning enemies,
recover their drop items and you'll be fine.
Normal goal: Defeat the enemy whose image you see in the lower screen.
Trial goal: Complete this mission as quickly as possible, but be aware
that your HP is constantly dropping, and you can't use
healing items or magic.
SP goal: ---
Notes: Defeat some of the enemies that cross your path in order to
replenish your own HP. Without doing that, sooner or later you may
be struck with a mortal blow, and you surely don't want that.
Trial goal: Collect as much money as possible, but you can't heal your
character.
SP goal: ---
Notes: For the trial goal, I suggest you use your limit attacks as
often as possible. When you're running out of time, and if your HP
is now low, rolling around to escape the enemies is a good option.
Notes: You may need some help with this one. After entering the Cave of
Wonders, interact with the socket next to the brown door. Some
cubes will rise, hit them in the proper order (obviously, 1-2-3)
and a staircase will rise. Hit the switch nearby, quickly climb the
stairs and enter the door. Interact with the monkey and finish the
boss without much effort.
Normal goal: Defeat the enemy whose image you see in the lower screen.
Trial goal: Complete this mission as quickly as possible.
SP goal: Complete this mission being damaged as few times as possible; the
enemy is stronger than before.
Notes: Be careful, Roxas is merely using a wooden sword, meaning you'll be
causing less physical damage. I suggest you attack with magic, and
let Xion help you, too.
Normal goal: Collect as many heart points as possible.
Trial goal: Complete this mission as quickly as possible.
SP goal: ---
Notes: If you go to the room placed to the left of your initial position,
you'll find yourself in a room filled with enemies, which you can
use to your advantage, when it comes to collecting as many hearts
as possible in limited time.
Trial goal: Complete this mission as quickly as possible.
SP goal: Complete this mission being damaged as few times as possible.
Notes: As you probably noticed, the enemy has a ramming device inside its
mouth; use it to your advantage, since its tip is weak against your
attacks, and therefore you can cause as much damage as quickly as
possible.
Notes: Basically, you just have to explore the castle, interacting with
some bits (less than in some boring missions...) and advancing
across the storyline.
Notes: Apparently, points drop out when you throw barrels at each other,
or at enemies. There may be some bonus if you score more than 100
points, but I have yet to confirm that.
Normal goal: Collect as many heart points as possible.
Trial goal: Complete this mission as quickly as possible.
SP goal: ---
Notes: After taking the upper right exit of the main square, you'll find
an area where you can fight several enemies at the same time, which
is a good option for completing the trial goal quickly.
Normal goal: Collect as many heart points as possible.
Trial goal: ---
SP goal: ---
Notes: Here, you'll have to feed Zero; each time he receives a bone, he
will fly around, and eventually stop near some section of the
scenario. Interact with that same part (you may need to jump, in
order to do so) of the scenario, and some enemies will pop out.
Repeat this action as many times as needed. Oh, and you can also
interact with balloons for some free enemies...
Normal goal: Defeat all the enemies that resemble the one seen in the
lower screen.
Trial goal: ---
SP goal: ---
Notes: Most of these are hiding inside flowers, BUT the final one is
placed in the cage, next to the queen's throne. Hit the cage all
the way down and you'll be able to fight it.
Normal goal: Defeat the enemy whose image you see in the lower screen.
Trial goal: ---
SP goal: ---
Notes: Well, since this enemy follows a set pattern, there's an easy way
to achieve this goal - simply wait for the enemy in a particular
area, and each time he approaches you throw him a basic "Fire"
spell. Often, doing so will burn the enemy, assuring that he will
continue to suffer some damage even when you're away from him.
Trial goal: Complete this mission being damaged as few times as possible;
your HP is constantly dropping.
SP goal: Complete this mission as quickly as possible; your enemies are
stronger than before.
Notes: Be sure to notice that the two enemies can revive each other, when
one of them has been defeated, but there's a catch - they only
repose as much HP as the living enemy currently has. So, it's a
good option to damage both enemies equally, instead of focusing all
your attacks in a single enemy until he is defeated.
Normal goal: Defeat the enemy whose image you see in the lower screen.
Trial goal: ---
SP goal: ---
Notes: In order to fight this particular enemy, you must fly all the way
up to one of the islands and grab the item from the hole. One of
those leads to a battle against the enemy you seek.
Normal goal: Defeat the enemy whose image you see in the lower screen.
Trial goal: ---
SP goal: ---
Notes: Wait for this enemy under the island, in the small passage, and
throw him a "Fire" spell whenever he passes by. Doing so will make
this battle a lot easier.
Trial goal: Complete this mission as quickly as possible.
SP goal: ---

FAQ. Frequently Asked Questions
Some of the questions you, readers, may have...
Q: [Insert something here], what should I go next?
A: Did you noticed that this is merely a FAQ, not a FAQ/Walkthrough? I
don't really cover that part of the game, and chances are that I can't
even recall what I did back then.
Q: How do I reach the last treasure chest in mission 68?
A: Reaching the treasure chest, the one in the lower right corner of the
Cave of Wonders is indeed tricky. You need to equip your character with
two abilities that increase your jump height. Then, go to fallen
pillar, the one located in the upper left corner of the map, move to
its rightmost (NOT the leftmost one!) corner and jump; if this is done
correctly, you'll be able to grab the ledge, and follow to the upper
section. Then, simply glide to the other side of the map and you'll
finally be able to grab the final chest.
Q: How do I unlock [insert character here] ?
A: First of all, be sure to understand that unlocked characters can only
be used in the "Mission Mode". Now, for Xion, simply play across the
story mode, eventually you'll unlock her. For Goofie and Donald, play
across the game, you'll unlock them in days 244 and 277. For Riku, you
must complete the game once (I did it in the normal difficulty mode).
For Mickey, after completing every mission once, you can purchase him
from the Moggle. For Sora, you have to fully complete (i.e. completly
fill the mission bar) every mission available in this game, and then
purchase him from the Moggle.
Q: Can I unlock the dual-wielding Roxas?
A: Yes, but only in "Mission Mode". After completing the "Story Mode"
once, purchase the new Keyblade from the Moggle (it's one that has a
Key-like symbol, and costs 30000 heart points). Equip it to Roxas,
together with three ability units (they look like a circle) and you'll
be able to play with the character you seek. However, be aware that if
you try to do this in the "Story Mode", Roxas' weapon will simply
revert back to its original shape, a Kingdom Key, instead of making him
dual-wield.
Q: What do I get for completing the game? Is there a "New Game +" option?
A: You unlock a "Theater Mode", where you can see all of this game's CG
cutscenes. There's no real "New Game +", but you can save your game
after having completed the game, and you can then replay all past
missions whenever you want.
That's all...
