This game is a 3D RPG (that uses cards to perform actions) based on the
Future Saga of the "Katekyo Hitman Reborn" series, though around halfway
through the game, new original characters are introduced and the story takes
a sudden turn.
Since this game is actually harder to complete than the previous one, because
of the seemingly random travels you have to do around the map, I've included a
brief walkthrough.
Here's a relatively spoiler-free walkthrough of the game. Don't expect me to
talk in detail about the locations, since I'm assuming you have no trouble
navigating between the screens.
Note that I'm writing it from memory, though, so some parts may be wrong or
misplaced.
You begin the game beside the 10th's coffin. Go down a couple of screens and
enter the Vongola's Hideout. After exploring the base enough, go back to B5F
and meet Reborn in one of the two rooms there.
*Note: you have to meet Reborn EVERYTIME you find a new character, so you'd
better assume that everytime I say "you find x character", you have to go back
to Reborn.
Then, go back to the forest. Pass through the shrine and go to the leftmost
street to find Lambo and I-Pin. Once you're back at the Vongola's Hideout, go
to the exit at B1F and explore the warehouse to find Haru and Kyoko and fight
the first bosses.
Back again at the Vongola's Hideout, go to the Shrine to fight Gamma and find
10Hibari. Go meet Solte at B9F, who will tell you that now you can use the
ring-making machine there, and go to the Training Room at B8F. After training
with a couple of characters and getting the X-Gloves ver.Vongola Ring, you may
want to save before fighting 10Hibari. Right after the battle, you'll be
directly taken to Hell's Land, where you can find Chrome.
Back at the Vongola's Hideout, you can now go to the highschool, where you'll
find 10Rizona, then go to the leftmost street to fight another boss.
After that, you WANT to clear some quests, get some stones and make rings, and
when you're prepared enough, you can talk to Reborn whenever you want to depart
to the Melone Base (I can't stress it enough: if you haven't used the
ring-making machine to make any rings before you depart, your game is OVER as
soon as you save there).
Your party will split in three groups, but if you have enough rings for them
to wear, you shouldn't have a problem beating this part, as it's pretty
linear (the only trouble you may have is not noticing that you can push a wall
while playing as Yamamoto).
When your party is whole again, save and equip rings for the four of you, and
be ready for a tough battle against the Phantom Knight. After that, you return
to the street and find 10Albito, but you can't go back to your Vongola Hideout
anymore; you have to examine the 10th's coffin to enter the hidden Vongola's
Hideout. Once there, go to the leftmost street to find Bianchi, Lambo, I-Pin,
Kyoko and Haru.
After talking to Reborn for the umpteenth time, you'll have to go to the
highschool, fight the first mechanimal beast and find Hibari. Back to Reborn,
then go to the shrine for Hibari to show you a secret entrance to his hideout.
Back to Reborn, go to the highschool and talk to the guy there for him to
show you a secret entrance to the Vongola's Hideout B10F, where you'll see a
sick Chrome. Try to fight the mechanimal beast blocking the corridor (you
can't), and yes, back to Reborn.
Fight 4 more mechanimal beasts at the forest, shrine, Hell's Land and
highschool, and after you find Chrome, you'll have to find the secret entrance
to the Melone Base that is hidden at the leftmost street. You can now open
the 5 doors with elemental drawings that you couldn't before, so activate the
4 switches you'll see behind them, and go back to the door where you fought
Genkishi.
Thunder: A3, Mist: C1, Cloud: D1, Sun: E2, Rain: H4
You'll be entering the Belladonna Lily's Hideout, and you'll be
facing Biokilulu there in no time. Fight the 6th mechanimal beast there, and
after briefing with Reborn, you can go back to the highschool's secret entrance
to fight that last mechanimal beast blocking the corridor.
Finally, you'll have to fight the last bosses standing at B11F, B5F and B1F
respectively. And congratulations! You've cleared the game.

3. Battle Menu
---------------
When you encounter an opponent, a battle menu will appear. Every turn you can
choose to keep on battling or to flee (only in random encounters). If you
choose to battle, you can:
-Select one of the equipped cards to attack or to boost your status. It'll use
a certain number of Command Points (CP), the blue bar under your HP bar, and
you won't be able to use the cards if you don't have enough CP.
-Select the first option to defend against the enemy's attacks. You'll only
suffer half the damage, and you'll recover a small percentage of CP.
-Select the second option to use an item (see below).
-Select the third option to cancel any selection you have made.
You choose one action for each one of your current characters, and the order in
which they occur will be decided by the Speed parameter. If you choose several
cards with the same color, they will be chained together and be used
consecutively, or will give you the chance to use a Combination Art if the
characters are related somehow (more on that below).
Lastly, here's the list of status modifications that may take place in a fight:
-Poison/deep-poison : You'll lose HP each turn
-Sleep: You can't use any action
-Card-disable: You can't use any cards (you can block or use items)
-Confusion: You'll attack any of your allies (for little damage)
-Paralyze: You can't use any action
-Invincibility: All the attacks against you will do no damage
-Counter: You'll counter after any attack aimed at you, even if it deals no
damage
-Curse: Most of your attacks will do no damage
-Loss of fighting spirit: ??
---------
4. Cards
---------
The meat of the game, the cards represent the attacks or skills that you
will be able to perform when you get into a battle. A few of them can be
shared between a certain amount of characters, while most of them can
only be used by one specific character.
You can buy some of these cards from one of the guys at Vongola's Hideout
B11F, or at the hidden Vongola's Hideout.
The cards can be upgraded by Gianinni at Vongola's Hideout B5F (or at the
hidden Vongola's Hideout), though you'll have to unequip them before that.
When unequipping, you'll have to leave the character with at least one kind
of attack card.
Since I don't know japanese, the card names between quotes are names I just
made up to describe the card itself.

The items can be bought from the item shop at Vongola's Hideout B11F
or at the hidden Vongola's Hideout.
They can be used by any character at all times, so they can get you

cards.

-Stones (orange, red, yellow, blue, green, indigo, violet and
unknown): used to make rings
---------
6. Rings
---------
One of the new additions in this game is the possibility to equip
rings. Depending of the ring's type, you can raise the parameters
of your character, for Attribute Rings (the greater the ring's
rank, the greater the parameter raise), or equip the character with
certain status advantages, for Void Rings.
You gain the ability to create rings just before Tsuna gets the
X-Gloves ver.Vongola Ring. To create rings, you have to go to the
B9F of the Vongola's Hideout (or to the hidden Vongola's hideout),
and examine the machine there to turn the stones you have into
different rings. The colored stones may turn into new Attribute
Rings, and the unknown stones may turn into new Void Rings.
*Note: Equipping rings is something totally NEEDED to procceed in the
game, so be sure to clear lots of quests to obtain stones and get
many rings.
Attribute Rings
----------------
As there are 7 attributes, these rings come in 7 different colors.
Equipping one of these will boost all your parameters, besides having
the effect that is listed below.
The parameter raise by attribute goes as follows:
-Heaven: gives great STR boost.
-Storm: gives low STR boost.
-Rain: gives great SPD boost, gives low LUK boost.
-Sun: gives great HP boost, gives low CP boost.
-Thunder: gives great LUK boost, gives low SPD boost.
-Cloud: gives great CP boost, gives low HP boost.
-Mist: boosts all stats equally.
You'll also need the Attribute raise these rings provide if you
want to use the box cards in battle, as they all require a certain
amount of attribute affinity.
*Note: the last 6 rings (before the Mare and Vongola) have different
names depending on the attribute, so I'll stick with the name they
get in the Thunder attribute.
These are the black rings made from unknown stones. The advantage of
equipping them is fairly limited, so make sure you're out of
Attribute Rings before starting to equip these ones.
-"Strength Ring": boosts STR greatly

-"Defense Ring": boosts DEF greatly

--------------------
7. Combination Arts
--------------------
If you select characters that share a certain relationship, you can activate
a Combination Art. To do that, you must use cards with the same color (for
example, have Tsuna use a red card and Reborn another red card). This time
around, each C.A. will deal the same damage each time, and will use a certain
amount of the Flame Gauge (the red bar that increases when you deal and
receive damage).
You can select more than one C.A. to perform in one turn (obviously, up to
two), or you can decide not to use any at all.
Also, unless otherwise stated, the C.A.s damage all opponents.
*Note: The "normal" versions of the characters shouldn't be mixed up with the
"10 years older" ones. For example, 10Albito and 10Rizona don't have a C.A,
while Albito and Rizona do.
Here's the list of all the available Combination Arts, along with their
damage, the FG they consume and their possible effects:
If you examine the control panel at the B11F's Storm Room, you'll be
able to access certain quests, up to 30 when you complete the game.
The quests consist typically of fighting a certain amount of opponents
or searching for stones or hidden items. Though, be careful: losing a
battle during a quest means Game Over (unlike in the Battle Stadium).
The searching quests are the most reliable way to obtain stones for
forging your rings, and the fighting quests reward you with box cards
that you can't get any other way.
Out of these fighting quests, most of them will only reward you with
one specific box card, but the 3 first quests will reward you randomly
with one of 7 different cards, like this:
-Quest 1: 458, 465, 472, 479, 486, 493, 500
-Quest 2: 457, 464, 471, 478, 485, 492, 499
-Quest 3: 456, 463, 470, 477, 484, 491, 498
Here's the list of the 30 quests:
01 - Fight Lal Mirch in the Training Room
02 - Fight Reborn in the Japanese Room
03 - Fight Reborn, Lal Mirch and Hibari in the Training Room
04 - Fight the 7 mechanimal beasts in the Belladonna Lily's Hideout

Recruiting Allies
------------------
Once you complete the game, you can go to various places and fight
characters. If you beat them, they'll join your party.
Specifically, you can find the Mukuro gang at Hell's Land, you'll find
Shouichi at the Melone Base's white room and you'll find Byakuran at
the Belladonna Lily's Hideout (you can only find Byakuran after clearing
all the available Battles in the Stadium, around 35 of them, and all
the quests).
Also, you can use the time machine at the Melone Base's white room to
swap between the "normal" and the "10 years older" versions of your
characters. You do this by talking to the Cervello girl there and
selecting the second option, and your leader will be time-swapped.
The following characters can be time-swapped: Gokudera, Yamamoto, Ryohei,
Hibari, Mukuro, Albito and Rizona.
* Note: All your current allies will gain Exp after every battle, except
for the ones "beyond time". That is, if you have Ryohei as an ally,
he'll level up but 10Ryohei won't, and if you have 10Ryohei, he'll
level up but the normal Ryohei won't.
Battle Stadium
---------------
Once you complete the game, you'll be able to enter the Battle Stadium at
the Vongola's Hideout B11F, where you can fight up to 60 groups of characters.
You won't earn any experience after winning these battles, but you'll earn
money, some rare cards and you'll unlock more characters.
Only a few battles will be available at the beginning, but after recruiting
your remaining allies (see above) and clearing more battles, you'll be
able to unlock up to 52 of the battles. The remaining 8 ones, that unlock
the last 2 characters, must be unlocked by using the cheats detailed below.
*Note: clearing the battle #60 more than once will reward you with
precious Rank Up S items.
Mosca Lottery
--------------
Once you complete the game, a mini-mosca machine will appear in one of
the rooms at B7F, and if you have Lottery Tickets (orange sheets of paper
dropped by enemies), you'll be able to trade them for random items.
From this lottery you can get items like Rank Up A and S, Coins, Level Up
or simply nothing, if you're unlucky.
----------
9. Cheats
----------
In the main menu, you can enter a series of cheats to unlock certain
cards and stadium battles. These are the known cheats at this time:
-10,6,5,16,3,7: Unlocks the "Fifth Path - Human Path" card
-3,2,9,7,12,6: Unlocks the "Hibird Defense" card
-9,2,1,4,6,4: Unlocks the "Belladonna Lily" stadium battle

(There should still be around 2 more cheats, namely the one that
unlocks Stadium Battle #39, plus one more to unlock all 500 cards)
