JG1: Introduction
=================
Hello! I'm here because I know that the majority of players need to hunt
J-Gems(even after finishing the story mode). So I will explain how to
get those J-Gems in sections. One for each color, except the Blue, Purple,
and White J-Gems section because the fastest way to get those is to get them
all together. I've also made a little section for tips and decks that I
personally use, and I hope it will be useful to you as well.
I will also use two terms that you may or may not know, (R/G/Y) Red,
Green, and Yellow. Also, (B/P/W) Blue, Purple, and White.
NOTE: For faster browsing of the page, use the CTRL+F command on your Internet
Browser. For example, if you want to go directly to the "JGBPW" Blue,
Purple, and White Gems, use CTRL+F and write JGBPW.
So! Let's get down to business.

======================================
JG2: How to get <insertcolorhere> gems
======================================
NOTE: You can also get those in Wi-fi, quiz and the various ranking modes.
just check the appropriate sections.
Red, green and yellow gems are the easiest to find and probably what you
need most. They can all be found in the story mode in different stages.
Each of them has "collect all the items before the time limit" as a goal:
You don't need to collect the items. More importantly, you DON'T
have to win the match in order to get the gems, you just have to kill your
opponents and get the gems they drop. If you kill them with a normal attack
(even guard break) or a support character, you get 12 gems divided into 4
pieces of 3 and they are hard to get. Mostly because your enemies (no one
knows why) tend to pick them up, even if they don't need them.
Kill them with a Special Attack (X or Up+X is the same) and they drop
a big gem of the color of their nature, which is worth 20 gems.
=============
JGR. Red Gems
=============
To get red gems (Power Gems), visit the second mission of Eyeshield 21 planet
in J-Galaxy. Your enemies are Gon, Sanji, and The Red Koma. So it's pretty
easy... They are all power-type and drop power gems. Therefore I'd suggest to
use a laughter battle character with strong specials to kill them.
I'd recommend Don Patch, from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo series, which has great
specials that suit the stage you are in; I'll explain the specific tactics
I use later in the "Strategy section."
===============
JGG. Green Gems
===============
Green gems (Knowledge Gems) are the hardest to get in the red, green, and
yellow bracket. Most likely because you're going to beat Ninkus in the Ninku
Stage (the symbol is a green cap) in J-space.Those guys are really annoying
and most people get tired of killing them. Just watch out for that kind of
rasengan-like move they use, because it's fast and can easly stop your
specials. For tips about what to use, see the "Strategy section".
================
JGY. Yellow Gems
================
Yellow gems (Laughter Gems) can be obtained in the Gintama World (the white-dog
face symbol) mission 2. Your enemies are Gintoki, Kagura, and Ryotsu Kankichi
(the police man from Kochira Kochi-Kame). Pay attention to not getting hit by
Honda Hayato, the biker support that inflicts the stop status, because is very
annoying since gathering gems is a matter of time...
=============================
JGBPW. Blue/Purple/White Gems
=============================
Those are the hardest to obtain... you can get them 10 by 10 winning (and only
winning) a Wi-fi match. Going to the first mission of the last world and
breaking boxes (i don't recommend this because the chance is very random and it
will take forever to get a good amount) or beat the J-Arena Champion Match.
The Champion Match is simply the best way. Check the proper section for details.

JG3. Strategy
=============
This section includes little tips and some decks I use to get R/G/Y J-Gems.
My main advice is to make 3 different decks, one for each color. With a strong,
and only one, battle character with powerful specials of the opposite nature of
what are you going to kill.
-For Power gems I use Don Patch's 7 koma. His Up+X special fits the vertical
stage perfectly and it's very useful, fast, and strong. His other special is a
bit dangerous, because you risk Ring Outing your enemies (and when happens you
DON'T get the gems). I recomend you use it only if your enemies are almost dead.
-For Knowledge gems I use Bankai Ichigo's 8 koma. His Up+X special is
devastating; I'm not just talking about damage, it is an AOE, which makes your
work a lot easier and therefore saves SP. Getsuga Tenshou is a nice move (the X
special), but can be easily interrupted by their Rasengan thing when charging.
Other characters you can use are Caramelman J., (the 8 koma final version of
Dr.Mashirito),because even if he's a Laughter type (you may die easily to their
Knowledge attacks) has good Power specials.
-For Laughter gems I use Sasuke's vertical 8 koma. His specials deal lots of
damage and his Up+X is AOE (you also have a high chance to paralyze your
enemies). As I said before, just pay attention to the biker guy, since there
aren't help koma to prevent movement stop.
About Help and Support Koma:
Don't use support koma. They are almost useless and your goal is to beat
your opponents with your special. They are a waste of space. The only support
you may want to use is Piko, from Muhyo to Rouji (A purple box with an eye
drawn on it). He gives you back 3 SP Bars in exchange for a little HP, but
it's very slow.
HELP KOMA are really useuful and you should choose them instead.
You need them to keep your SP bar constantly full so that you can spam specials:
if you do it right you won't even need to use normal attacks to recover SP!
This is a little list of useful help komas:
* Light Yagami (Death Note): Increase SP Gauge when attacking or blocking
Characters of an opposing nature.
...Do I have to explain?
* Mello (Death Note): Increase SP Gauge when multi-hitting
...use it only if you can actually multi-hit with the character you choose XD
* Bulma (Dragon Ball): Gain more SP from Coins.
...SHE IS A MUST! When beating your opponents, you get lots of coin. Pick them
up and restoring your SP bar. With this help, it should be a piece of cake.
* Dio Brando (Jojo's Bizarre Adventures): SP Gauge regenerates, if you don't
change characters or use Support characters.
... very useful since you only have 1 battle character and don't use any
support.
* Any help that gives 1 more SP Bar, they are:
Edajima Heihachi (Sakigake!! Otokojuku),Gyro Zeppeli(Jojo's Bizarre Adventure)
Athena (Saint Seiya) Takanori Akagi (Slam Dunk), Kaiousama (Dragon Ball)
Jiraiya (Naruto), Zangetsu (Bleach), Isshin Kurosaki (Bleach), Chuubei
(Midori no Makibaou), Seijuro Hiko (Rurouni Kenshin), Shanks (One Piece).
This is, for example, my own deck for Knowledge gems:
-Shape: Koma list:
[1][2][3][4][5] 1) Bulma 1 Koma
[B][B][B][B][6] 2) Light 1 Koma
[B][B][B][B][7] 3) Mello 1 Koma
[8][9][S][S][S] 4) Zangetsu 1 Koma
5) Kurosaki 1 Koma
6) Jiraya 1 Koma
7) Kaioh 1 Koma
8) Gyro 1 Koma
9) Akagi 1 Koma
B) Bankai Ichigo 8 Koma (Leader)
S) Piko 3 Koma (R)
I'm still uncertain about the use of Piko...

JG4: Ranking
============
Ranking in the J-Arena is also a way to get lots of gems (and the only one to
get a good amount of those Blue/Purple/White Gems...).
There are 4 different rankings:
-Point Match
-Survival Match
-Event Match
-Champion Match
In order to unlock the Champion Match, you need to beat the other 3. They are
20 consecutive battles. In the Point Match you win by being the one with the
highest number of points. In Survival you just have to K.O. them all before the
time runs out, in Event Match you win by collecting all the stars or having the
highest number of stars before the time runs out.
If you fail, you go in Sudden Death Mode, just try to get the 1st place.
Completing the Point, Survival and Event Matches will give you lots of R/G/Y
J-Gems(500 of each), and your reward for completing the Champion Mode is 500
Red Gems, 500 Green gems, 500 Yellow Gems, 200 Blue Gems, 200 Purple Gems and
400 White Gems! Yay!
I don't have any particular suggestions about what to use, it's up to you.
Just use your best deck in order to finish the Champion Match in the shortest
time possible... because if you have bad luck (like me) you may have to finish
it more than 10 times.

=======================
JG5: Wi-fi and Wireless
=======================
Here is a table that explains how many gems you get:
___________ _____ _____ _____
| 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th |
__________|___________|_____|_____|_____|
|2 Players |50RGY 10BPW|10RGY| - | - |
|3 Players |50RGY 10BPW|20RGY|10RGY| - |
|4 Players |50RGY 10BPW|30RGY|20RGY|10RGY|
__________|___________|_____|_____|_____|
As you can see, you don't get any B/P/W J-Gem if you don't win.
The aumount of time you spend playing online isn't worth the gems you get, so
the Ranking mode is much more effective!
-----------------------
=========
JG6: Quiz
=========
You get 5 J-Gems for each correct answer, But if you are reading this guide
you probably don't know Japanese, and therefore you randomly push buttons
when answering...a nice way to obtain gems is the Wireless Quiz mode,
just challenge one of your friends to see who is more lucky.
Quiz will give you only R/G/Y J-Gems.
