Lack of Gon FAQ makes EXE sad. So here we go~.

2. Gon Freaks [Lufi]
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
==============================================================================
A) Description [1Des]
==============================================================================
Raised in a forest, Gon is in tune with the wild and it's creatures. Following
in his father's footsteps, he entered the Hunter Exam. There, he met his
companions, Killua, Leorio, and Kurapica. After many hardships, Gon passed the
exam and earned his Hunter License and currently travels the world, looking
for his father and discovering many of the planet's mysteries.
Gon is tough character to play, with no real obvious combos to use. With some
practice, he's a skilled hit and run character, boosting his stats and
smashing through guards with brute force.
---
Support Boost:
Killua, Kurapica, Hisoka.
Passive Traits:
Gains SP from breaking Treasure Chests.
Solid Stance. Makes it hard to knock Gon around with attacks.

3. Support [Supp]
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Here are Gon's support Koma, near the bottom of the guide as I don't feel
they are more important than the actual Battle Komas.
==============================================================================
A) 1 Koma [1Kom]
==============================================================================
Help Koma:
[]
Effect: SP Gauge regenerates when in battle.
==============================================================================
B) 2 Koma [2Kom]
==============================================================================
Power:
[] []
Archangel Ibuki
Damage: None
Hits: None
Knockback: None
Knockdown: None
Range: Infinite
Lag: Great
Gon appears and places a card in a book. An angel then appears and heals you.
A good healer, as it will heal you from wherever you place it on the field,
but it also makes an easy target.
==============================================================================
C) 3 Koma [3Kom]
==============================================================================
Power:
[] [] []
Jail and Jajaken: Rock
Damage: 82 (123)
Hits: 1
Knockback: Great
Knockdown: Yes
Range: Medium
Lag: Great
After hiding out with Jail for 10 seconds, Gon will suddenly appear and hits
the opponent with Rock.
Crushing amounts of damage, but it's still hard to connect and seals the rest
of your supports while you wait for him to pop up.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
4. Combos [Muda]
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Here's some of Gon's basic combos. His combos are hard to pull off and not
the most reliable, but they are combos nonetheless.
---
Launch combo: B, Up B, Aerial B.
Decent, simple combo. Not long or flashy.
---
Corner Combo: B, Forward B, Aerial B.
Another simple combo, but it only works if the enemy is pinned by the wall.
---
Jajaken combo: Y, Forward Y, 4 Koma X.
A psuedo-combo. The hits don't link well together, but it can damage a crowd
rather painfully and even weaken a guard rather well.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
5. Koma Setups (Koma)
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Gon, like all other characters, has a wide variety of help, support, and
battle characters to choose from. I'll try to be vague enough so you can form
your own deck, that fits your style.
Help Koma: Tons and tons of these.
Ally Boosts:
Killua: Gives an Ally Boost and prevents the Shock Effect.
Kurapica: Gives an Ally Boost and SP Gauge regens when you don't move or
attack.
Hisoka: Gives an Ally Boost and gives on SP bar when KO'd.
Others:
Air Dash: Allows Gon to dash in the air. Granted by Sena, Tsubasa, Hien,
Kaede, Yoruichi, Urahara, and Kenshin.
Triple Jump: Allows Gon to Triple Jump. Granted by Eve, Devilbat, Hanamichi,
Gajira, and Sipuxiang.
Judgement Immunity: Prevents Judgement. Granted by Warsman, Amidamaru, Arale,
Obotchman, Spin, Crystal Boy, and Hamii.
Decreases Blunt Damage Taken: Granted by Luffy and Kinnikuman.
Decreases Sword Damage Taken: Granted by Zoro, Robin Mask, Takeshi, Shiryu,
Trunks, Yuu Kanda, Yahiko, and Franky.
Auto Guard: Guards with SP as long as you aren't in the air or attacking.
Granted by Gaara, Biscuit, Robin, Genkai, Kamesennin, Captain Bravo, Page,
Roberto, Genzo, and Masa-chan.
Health Regen: Granted by Orochimaru, Piccolo, Ikki, Buu, Kazuki, and Leon.
Increase SP Gauge by 1: Granted by Hiko, Shanks, Zangetsu, Jiraiya, Athena,
Kaiousama, Isshin, Gyro, Takanori, Chuubei, and Edajima.
Support Koma: I'm only going to list a few.
Banned by GameFAQs' JUS board:
Trunks: 3 Koma.
Seiya: 3 Koma
Sena: 3 Koma.
Everyone else online will likely use these though, so be wary.
Other choices:
Kurapica, 2 Koma. A decent attack and seals the enemy's attacks.
Hisoka, 3 Koma. A decent auto combo and hold the enemy in place for a good
Rock attack.
Piccolo, 2 Koma. Good for combos and reeling in runners, but Gon can do this
on his own.
Gotenks, 3 Koma: Attacks from the air at a 45 degree angle with multiple Ki
Blasts.
Hiruma, 3 Koma: Good ranged attack.
Cerberus, 3 Koma: Counters enemy attacks.
Josuke, 2 Koma: Quick healing.
Chopper, 2 Koma: Quick healing.
Sanji, 2 Koma: Quick healing.
Nami, 2 Koma: SP Steal.
Hitsugaya, 3 Koma: Good Ranged, freezes.
Orihime, 3 Koma: Heals entire team.
Yoruichi, 2 Koma: Launches you into the air, good for recovery and escapes.
Kenshiro, 3 Koma: ATATATATATAT. Can ring out easily with the stun effect.
Battle Koma:
Honestly, I'm not going to get very far into this. Use a knowledge character
to offsetGon's Laughter weakness. I reccomend Killua's 5 Koma, who gives and
gets an ally boost with Gon and is an excellent fighter all-around.

7. FAQs [FAQs]
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Rules for mailing: Please only ask questions or give suggestions that pertain
to the game and more specifically, playing as Luffy. I'm not great at online
yet, so practice and learn your own stuff, it's always better than copying
everyone else.
