Amida Pipe:
One of four mini-games in the Casino. The player does Amidakuji by going into
one of three pipes. The prize depends on which pipe you come out from.
Area:
A series of Shopes as a group. The more Shop you own in one, the more Gold you
can invest into the Shop.
Auction:
A way to determine who gets a Shop. When a Shop is sold, three quarter of its
Worth does to the owner, and the Shop is Auctioned. The player is able and
willing to pay the highest amount gets the Shop. If no one is willing to pay
the Shop, it will turn back into an unpossessed land. If the player is forced
to sell because of Gold shortage, the Gold from the Auction does not go to
the owner. Chance Card #74 forces Auction.
Balloon Port:
A construction for Enpty Lands. The owner can choose any place to fly to upon
landing on it (can only be used once per turn). When the opponents step on this
Square, they have to pay 10% of the owner's Level-Up Prize.
Bankrupt:
A situation which a player is forced out of the game. When a player has to pay
Gold more than the person's total asset, they Bankrupt.
Bingo:
Eight Chance Cards in a roll. 200G is earned by getting this.
Bronze Shop:
Level four of a Shop. When a Shop's Shopping Fee is 300G-999G, it becomes this.
It looks like a tower.
Casino:
A feature that can be accessed by landing on the Casino Square. A random mini-
game out of four will be selected. The four mini-games are Silver Tarot,
Monster Coliseum, Amida Pipe, and Itadaki Slot.
Chance Card:
Cards that cause various results. Chance Cards can be drawn by landing on a
Chance Square and Mark Square. The player picks a Chance Card out of 64 preset
ones (eight by eight), and different things happens depends on the card. If a
gets four to seven cards in a roll (column, row, or diagonal), the number of
cards in a roll times 10G will be awarded to the player. If a player gets a
Bingo (eight in a roll), 200G will be awarded.
Circus:
A construction for Enpty Lands. It can be invested in with 100G three times.
The fee goes from 100G to 500G, 500G to 1000G, and 1000G to 2000G with each
Investment. Like other Shops, the opponent pays the fee when they land on the
Square. The owner may only Invest in this Square when landing on it, and cannot
Invest this Square when landing on other Shops.
Dividen:
A type of profit from Stock. When Shopping Fee is paid, any Stockholder of the
Area where the Shop is gets some dividen. If the person holds five or less of
the Stock, the amount of Dividen is the Shopping Fee times the amount of that
Stock times 4%. if the person holds more than five of the Stock, the Dividen is
the Shopping Fee times 20% plus an addition of 1% for every one of the stock
held. Dividen does not apply to Stone Barriers.
Dokodemo Card:
It can be used in place of any of the four marks. Casino has this as a prize.
Chance Card #100 and Healer also has this.
Empty Land:
A Square with a "SALE" label. The owner can choose between one of the six
constructions. Those constructions are Stone Barrier (200G), Circus (200G),
Balloon Port (200G), Shrine (200G), Pub (200G), Land House (200G), and Wood
Shop (1000G).
Five-Time Purchase:
Buy the opponent's Shop by landing on it. The cost of this action is five
times the Shop's Worth (three out of five goes to the opponent, the remainder
goes to the Bank.
Gold:
The currency in the game.
Gold Shop:
Level six of a Shop. When a Shop's Shopping Fee is between 3000G and 4999G, it
becomes this. It looks like a pyramid.
Grand Cross:
Level seven and the last level of a Shop. When a Shop's Shopping Fee is 5000G
or higher, it becomes this.
Healer:
The NPC summoned by Chance Card #91. It gives Marks to players it passes by.
The players can select any Mark that they don't already have. If the player has
all the Marks, a Dokodemo Card will be given in place of the Mark. It
disappears after a few turns.
Invest:
Upgrade your Shops. It can be done by stepping onto any of your Shops (with the
exception of some constructions for the Empty Land). Chance Cards #12 and 36
also permits investing.
Itadaki:
One of the main mechanisms in the game. The opponents pay you Gold when they
land onto your Shops (with the exception of Shrine when the opponent has 0G and
Land House).
Itadaki Slot:
One of four mini-games in the Casino. Different prizes can be earned depending
on the result. This is the only Casino mini-game which the opponent cannot get
any benifit from.
JewelBag:
The NPC summoned by Chance Card #28. It moves and pays for Shopping Fee. It
disappears after a few turns.
Level:
A part of a player's status. Upon Leveing, a player can receive a Level-Up
Prize. To Level, a player needs to collect all four of the Marks and go back to
the bank or get Chance Card #70. Casino, Pub, and Level-Up Prize depends on
this status.
Level-Up Prize:
Gold earned associated with Leveling Up. The amount is the sum of a fixed
amount which depends on the map, another fixed amount also depends on the map
but multiplied with the player's Level, and 10% of the player's total Shop
asset.
Lakitu:
The NPC summoned by Chance Card #92. It hypnotizes Shops it passes through. The
Shops stays at Rest until the Shop owner's turn comes. It disappears after a
few turns.
Land House:
A construction for Enpty Lands. The owner can buy any land that does not
already have a owner when theyland on this Square. When the other players land
on this, their Shops Rests for 1 turn.
Lucky:
A status that a person gets. A person with this status can get Gold through
Sharing. The Lucky status is obtained by landing on the Lucky Square or Super
Lucky Square, getting Chance Card #26, and flipping a certain card in Silver
Tarot. The amount Shared with Lucky Square and Silver Tarot is 20% of the
Shopping Fee. The amount Shared with Super Lucky Square and Chance Card #26 is
50%. Stone Barrier does not apply to this.
Mark:
A condition for Leveling, There are four Marks total, Club, Heart, Spade, and
Diamond. Marks can be obtained by passing through Squares of the Marks, getting
Chance Card #99, or getting from Healer. Also, Silver Tarot offers the Heart
Mark.
Monster Coliseum:
One of four mini-games in the Casino. starting from the player who landed on
the Casino Square and going in order, each player select one out of four preset
monsters. The monster then do battle. The person who chose the winning monster
earns monster equals to the ratio of the monster times the Level of
that person times 10G.
Paper Shop:
Level one of a Shop. When a Shop's Shopping Fee is 49G or lower, it becomes
this.
Pub:
A construction for Enpty Lands. The owner can gather all other players to this
Square by landing on it. Other players pay 30 times the owner's Level when they
land on it.
Reconstruction:
Change the use of a Empty Land. You receive three-quarters of the Worth and pay
for the new contruction.
Rest:
A status inflicted on Shops. When a Shop Rests, it cannot collect any fee for a
turn. All players who step on the Rest Square have all of their Shops go to
Rest. Rest is also induced by Chance Cards #9 and 34. Besides that, Lakitu and
Land House causes Rest too.
Share:
A way to get Gold. A player gets Gold by Sharing if they have the Lucky, and
Shopping Fee is paid by someone.
Shopping Fee:
The amount of payment players have to pay when landing on a Shop owned by other
players.
Shrine:
A construction for Enpty Lands. The owner is blessed by the God when they land
on this Square, earning 5% of the owner's total asset. When the other players
land on it, they have to pay repair fee for it, costing them 10% of their total
asset. JewelBag does not pay any for this construction.
Silver Tarot:
One of four mini-games in the Casino. The player chooses one card out of five.
The selected card shows who will be affected by the next card. After that,
another card is chosen among eight cards for the results.
Silver Shop:
Level five of a Shop. When a Shop's Shopping Fee is 1000G-2999G, it becomes
this. It looks like a palace.
Square:
A unit of movement in the game. Each one point on the die yields one Square on
the board.
Stock:
One of the main mechanisms in the game. Each Stock corresponds to an Area of
Shops. It can be obtained by Chance Cards #21, 66, and 77, and can be purchased
at the Bank, Stock Square, and by Chance Cards #38, 59, and 67. During your
turn, before you roll the die, you can sell any amount of it. The price of a
Stock is increased when the Worths of the Shops of the corresponding Area
increase, a player buy 10 or more of the Stock (10% of increment, disregarding
amount of purchase), and a player gets Chance Cards #60 and 97. On the other
hand, decreasing a Stock's price requires a decrease in the Worths of the Shops
of the corresponing Area, selling 10 or more of the Stock (10% of reduction,
disregarding amount of purchase), and Chance Cards #41 and 42.
Stock Share:
Get Gold because the opponents Invest their Shops.
Stone Barrier:
