[__1__]                              INTRO:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over time this guide has grown from a simple Set items guide, to a Complete Set
items guide, to a complete FAQ as it it now. The only thing missing is a
complete list of Unique Weapons. and a complete list of Yellow Mods But I think
once you know how to recognize these weapons you will have no problem deciding
what is best and the strongest for your character.

There are few secrets to the items in Dungeon Explorer However. If you only
pick up the items that "look strong" you may be missing out on many of the
hidden bonuses that Set items hold. This guide will reveal all to you. Sadly,
you cannot trade item's during wifi, nor can you bank your items for other
characters that you may create. However, given that there is a hard mode to
this adventure, these extra bonuses may be just that edge you will need to
survive to the end.

[__2__]                       CHECKLIST WALKTHROUGH
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOW TO READ THIS WALKTHROUGH
This is a spoiler free Checklist Walkthrough. It will save you if you are lost.
There is no strategy's explained for fighting, Every one plays differently. So I
leave that to you.

Format:
>> Dungeon Name
- (Room name), directions
+ extra direction for bonuses and secrets not required to complete the game
*unlock a location on your world map, or a key item*

Map:
If I refer to directions I mean it in perspective of the room. words like
West and North are reserved for the name of rooms.

            /. .\
      Left =. . .= Up
          /. . . .\
         /. . . . .\
         \ . . . . /
     Down = . . . = Right
           \ . . /

Portals:
The Blue Two-way portal is like a 'check point' By going through it you open
up a portal at an earlier part of the dungeon or even outside. This 'shortcut'
is only unlocked by going through the portal once. You can then return through
it to continue your adventure if you should die or restart the dungeon.

Link Point:
The Red Two-way portal does not unlock any shortcuts. It is used like a magical
door to take you to another room. Not every Link Point will return you to the
same place if you go back through it. And not every Link Point has a return
point on the other side.

Generators:
The Demon God Breed is the source of generators. Generators summon forth
monsters unto this world. The word generator is said to have come from the name
Generot, the evil Dragon. [Monument in Sacred Ruins]

DAG = This mean you must Destroy All Generators in the area. When you have
destoryed them, the screen will flash, and a door will unseal. Should you
die during a DAG section, you will have to start it over. Doors unsealed
when you complete a DAG will always stay open even if you leave the dungeon
  or die.

[__3__]                           ITEM COLORS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Item's come in 4 colors
Red            >>  You do not meet the item requirements: Level, Stat, Class
White          >>  Normal Item
Yellow         >>  Enhanced Item.  Up to 3 Enhancements
Orange / Gold  >>  Unique or Set Item

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[_3.1_]               SET ITEM/UNIQUE ITEM DIFFERENCES:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unique Items:
will have the name of the item replaced. A Unique Platinum Ring with the name
Mobius will look like this:
-------------------------------
         Mobius
DEF+9, EVA+10, VIT+8,
ARTS+8, STR+8, DEX+8,
A RES+15, F RES+15, E RES+15,
w RES+15, HP AB+5, AP AB+5
-------------------------------

Set Items:
The Set name will appear below the normal item name.
-------------------
   PlatnumRng
     Goblin
DEF+9, EVA+10
-------------------

By pressing (L) or (R) you can scroll through the statistics for an item.
As you can see above, A single Set item will have the exact same stats as a
normal item for it's type. The Goblin Ring looks alot weaker at face value.
But has the potential to be the best Ring in the entire game.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[__4__]                           SET ITEMS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[__6__]                          ROBOT 101:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Owon, the technology created by the Elves. And Sordin, created by the Artisans
to resemble Sordin himself. Although costly to replace, You'll find that with
the right Unit's equipped your Robot is practically indestuctable and a great
addition to your damage output.

Regretably, Robots cannot assist you while playing online. But I find that
other players are *usually* smarter then the Robots.

Stats:
Your Robot has it's own attributes, it's own equipment called a 'Unit', and
it's own equipment screen in the start menu called 'Robot'.

HP:
The Robots HP is the short red bar below your own on the touch screen.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[_6.1_]                      GETTING A ROBOT:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your First Owon is the Geo I type. It is given to you for free after completing
a quest for Hjalmar in the Prologue Stage of the game.

The Sordin models are available as an upgrade in Mount Szhet in the 3rd
Chapter. You must have an Owon to get a Sordin! You can change the Sordin's
type at anytime by visiting the appropriate Forge.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[_6.2_]                    CARING FOR YOUR ROBOT:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If your Robot is left behind:
If you become seperated, it will reappear beside you when you are far enough.

When Damaged:
>> Your Robot will regerate HP at a slow rate on it's own.
>> Can be fully recovered by speaking with Hjalmar in town.
>> Can be healed instantly by feeding it

Feeding your Robot:
On your item screen, if you select a peice of equipment you will see the
option to Feed Robot. The amount of HP regained is directly related to the
cost of the item. It is usually well worth it to sacrifice a few items over
the cost of replacing your Robot.

If your Robot dies:
At 0 HP your Robot dies instantly! Feed them early! All of it's equipment
will return to your inventory and the Robot is forever gone. You cannot repair
a dead robot. You can only buy a new one. During the Fair, Hjalmar lowers the
cost of buying a new Owon.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[_6.3_]                           SECRET DOORS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Secret 'doors' is misleading because we have to 'click' to open doors. You
actually walk right through the wall into a secret room. Your robot will see
these false walls when you walk past one. It will put on a display of noise
and flashing colors to show you where there is a Secret Door present. There are
secret door's in the very first dungeon of the game. And a quest later in the
1st Chapter that requires you to find an item from a secret room. If you think
your stuck in the game then come back with an Owon!

Secret room's will have treasures in them. Usually the items they hold are
better then what you may find from monsters in the same dungeon.

Secret room's sometimes have another secret door or two in them!

The terrain around secret door's is kind of like a path, and you can sometimes
notice them yourself.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[_6.4_]                           OWON MODELS:

[_6.6_]                          FINDING UNITS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Units are the swords and armor for your robot. Units don't level up. You will
find higher level Unit's along with higher level equipments for your character.
Pod's have a high drop rate for Units. The high levels of the Pyramid will have
the best Units you can find.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[_6.7_]                          UNIT DETAILS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unit's come in 3 types and 5 levels each.
DEF: Increase Robot's DEF attribute
ATK: Increase Robot's ATK attribute
RES: Increase Robot's RES attribute and HP

Your Owon and Sordin have different types of attack based on it's ATK. And
different attack colors based on its Primary Element. The Primary Element is
determined by your choice of Owon (Earth, Fire, Water, Air).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[__7__]                           HARD MODE:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gameplay:
The monster's and equipments dropped are at a higher level to match your own.

Equipment:
You can now Rework Unique weapons at the Weapon Shop.

Robots:
The base attributes of the Owon & Sordin are increased. However, the damage
done to the Robot is also increased. The Unit and Brand Sets remain the same.
In order to keep your Robot alive it's recommended to equip the full Pythag Set

Pyramid:
Hard Mode will make you much stronger, eventually able to solo the Pyramid.
The Pyramid is untouched by the difficulty of your game. However if you had
cleared the Pyramid in normal difficulty, it is forgotten when you enter Hard
Mode. You will need to complete the Pyramid to get the final ending again.
Your starting level progress in the pyramid remains the same.

[__8__]                 FURTHER SECRETS? MYTHS *SPOILERS*:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Goblin: *Myth- confirmed!*
If you wear the full Goblin Set you will look like a Goblin. Additionally I
recieved 24 status points. Unconfirmed, but Wi-fi play seems to have new drop
rates compared to the original release. We found 2 Goblin Helmets on floor 45.

Glorios: *Myth- Busted*
Inside of Mt Szhet is the forge of Glorios. It is a rather small room without
a forge for your Owon. The Myth is if you wear an entire set of equipment with
the Glorios Modifier then something will happen. Perhaps it will take both a
full character and robot set to do something.
 >>  Wearing both full set's simutaneously does nothing.

Broken Portal: *Myth- Busted*
The broken portal found near the end of the Story is suggested as a possible
location for a secret level. Perhaps it is unlocked with the full Glorios sets.
 >>  Wearing the full Glorios set's did nothing.

Magus Set: *Myth- Archived*
The Staff of this set requires 2 hands. Therefore it is impossible to equip the
Shield with this set. Making it impossible to gain a Set3 Bonus. Being that
this Set uses the top teir of equipment, and some of the highest requirements
to equip. It is unusual that the Set2 Bonus is incredibly weak compared to the
Unique or even yellow equipments that you find at this level. Considering that
this set uses both a shield and weapon, and offers no ATK or DEF bonus, the Set
feels completly incomplete.
 >>  To find out the truth I posted the issue at the official company forums.
     There has been no reply,
This Myth has been archived as just a really weird thing.

Reworking Set Items: *Myth*
In the begining of the game, the Rework menu shows normal, Enhanced, Unique,
and Set Weapons. However both the Unique and Set Weapons are unable to be
reworked. In Hard Mode, you are now able to rework the Unique Items. So it's
easy to believe that Set items can also be somehow reworked. Add to this idea
the Broken Magus Set, and the fact that many Set's require a weapon, and the
thought of Reworking Set Items sounds quite real. The only question is how?
