Anyways, Custom robo, the sport of the future. Peice together your Robo, and
duke it out for pride, prize, prestige, or whatnot. Developed by a rather
small company in Tokyo, so small that it was bought over by nintendo after
a smash hit game(Custom Robo(V1)), that works and works independantly,
producing everlasting fun for all gamers that play The Game.
That company, is Noise. That Gamer, is You. That game, is Custom Robo.
- Introduction to the Story
Welcome to <Name>'s Life. Youve just moved because of your dads new job with a
Smash hit company. Realising that your now mature enough to handle a battle
without dying, or getting yourself into trouble, he finally gives you your
first custom Robo for your birthday. (The main Char doesnt really care for
Custom Robos before this.) Strangely enough, its Ray MkII, the Top product of
your Dads new job's COMPETING COMPANY, Ramuda Corp.
Heading off to school, your enlisted quickly by a shady organisation known
only as Team No.1, headed by a the only girl that doesnt go crazy for the
Brad Pitt of the Custom Robo universe, Hajime, the current Robo Champion.
After a few fights, Team No.1 decides to train you to become the greatest
Commander of all time, pit you against the world, and become:

out, being the DS, so Noise, being the thrifty beings that they are, took
the storyline and walking graphics and whatnot from GXII and threw em into
Rumble. Just some background info on why the walking and dialouge and the
story just downright suck.
So, technically, GX and GXII would have occured simultaneously.
Which is weird, because the Great Robo Cup would have to occur in two different
places at the same time, which is impossioble.

You receive your garage with your first Robo, Ray MkII at the start of the game.
Its smaller, Faster loading, more financially efficient, and cooler looking than
the previous garages, and as a plus, its NEOBRAIN!.
Its icon is a Yellow box with a robo standing in it. Select it with A, and itll
open up.
Now, with your garage open and working, your top screen becomes your customise

Now, your bottom screen should have 5 Icons on the top. functioning like
dropdown menus on your computer. The first one is Parts selection.
The second one, the green one, is Posing and Diorama.
The third icon is Cleaning, its appearance is yellow
THe fourth is Saving and loading preset sets. Its color is red
and the final one is exit. This ones purple

During selection, The top screen displays the Name, look, stats, and description
The Diorama menu. The first option is Camera angle/position.
DPad is moving the camera
L+Dpad Up/Down is moving the camera height
Y+DPad is to move the camera angle
Select is to return camera to default,
A is to let you see the little icons to exit
X is to make the camera face the robo
and B is to return to garage.
NOTE* For left handers, if you change the settings to left hand, the entire
commands are fliped, where the 4 buttons are for moving and so forth.
For posing, there are 3 Options on the left, a Diorama On/Off in the top right
and an exit in the bottom left.
NOTE: Lightning skyers also have the MORPH Icon.
The first is pose. DPad is to move camera for better angle
L+DPad is zooming and Showing Icons, Select returns it to orgional pose
Diorama On/Off/Half allows you to have a full veiw of Diorama, partial, or just
the robo. and again, B is return.
for Posing, you use your Touch Screen and take one of the following
Head
Torso
Upper arm/leg
lower arm/leg
Hand/foot.
Grabbing and moving these allow for your pose.
Turn.
Sliding up down or Left right will change the angle of your robo, the slider
on the right changles height, and the three little buttons in the bottom right
will change the postion of the robo.
Parts.
The parts option opens 4 boxes. hitting these will allow you to deploy or close
up the parts. For different poses, deployed or not looks better. And when it
all done, isnt that what matters? The Look?
The Third option from the Diorama dropdown menu is the diorama selection.
simply, it selects what diorama to use. Same as parts selection.
The Third dropdown menu is Cleaning. You select from Normal Cloth, Super
Cloths, or Dirty Cloths. These are selected at the side. Super Cloths are
gained through mini quests, or buying them. Your robo gets dirty through
battles, and thus needs to be cleaned. Normal cloth cleans it, super cloths
clean it really fast, but slowly turn into dirty cloths, which dirty your bot.

Have shown that the CLEAN and SemiCLEAN stages show no hinderance to ability
but the later 2 decrease your power.
The fourth option is Saving and Loading preset poses and sets.
Saving selects your CURRENT setting and angles and whatnots and places them
in one of eight slots. you can name the slots, with 12 Characters.
Loading simply takes whats in that box, and replaces your current one with
that. Of course, these sets are customisable, but you have to load, change
and then save again.
Exit, simply exits. I hope you know that.

Okey, head to the closet, and watch your character change in less than a second

Now, take a crash course in battling, which Tolle gives you, whilst battling
Takashi, a member of R1 Grapple.

Head home, and eat dinner by sitting in your seat. This dinner conversation is
going to be excessively repetetive, so get used to it.
After dinner, go upstairs and sleep without doing your homework.
- Day 2.
You wake up, first thing to do is go outside, head to school. Some people will
have Robo Cubes, you can fight them by talking to them. Head to school and take
your seat at your desk. Take the lesson, and follow Saki and Tolle to the robo
station. Talk a bit, and youll be able to fight 3 People

Tips: Keep your distance. Gatling gun can be one of the most dangerous guns out
there. Especially at close range.
After the whole cutscene deal, follow the leader to the parts store across the
street. Buy whatever you want/need, then head home.
- Day 3
Wake up, and head out. Youve got an appointment to keep, so head to the R1
Grapple HQ, located in the west wing of the school. Talk to Noto-sensei, and
then, head out to the hallway and talk to Tolle. Head to the R1 Grapple HQ, and
more or less obliterate everyone there. you have 4 battles, the last one is the
only one that could possiobly pose a problem. you fight Isurugi, using
Rock Hound
Drill Gun
Tomahawk B
Speed Pod P
Long Boost leg
Sonic Circut
Okey. your basic battle plan is to run around, and keep your distance. a good
gun to use now would be Gattling gun, so pick that up at the nearby school
"stationary" store. Stick to the ground, as Tomahawk B will eat you alive if
you stay in the air too often.
Wow. R1 Grapple is absolutely flabergasted and have their faces in chagrin.
Imagine that. the Human mind prevailing over a computer chip that costs less
than 50 dollars. Amazing right?
Ahem. Now, the next destination to go is Neobrain. Head there, and talk to
everyone there. the shops here wont be open for a while, so be patient.
Head to the 7th floor, and do the whole cutscene thing. blah blah blah, when
you get to walk around for a bit, talk to EVERYONE on the floor, including
those suspicious looking characters. Theyre the good guys.
Now, your goanna go up against a robot, so head back to Dad's lab, and
talk to the machine. battle a

Feint F pod

Take a similar strategy as Isurugi. except, this time, the enemy's a LOT
faster. Make sure you use the air to get around, seeing as they dont have
any anti-air.
Beat the machine, and then, head home to go to bed.
- Day 4
First thing, head to school and take the damn lecture. the teachers might
as well be talking in Newspeak, since nobody pays attention anyways.
Now, head to the Team No.1 Hideout, and chat up tolle.
When you get control back, head to Forester school, located in the area
east of Midhart, and battle a kid there. he uses a FOM with 3 way gun,
should be an easy fight.
Next up, Robostation. Yak yak yak about things you dont really give a damn
about, and then, you fight Yuuji, AGAIN. This time around he uses
Oracle Head
Accel gun
Gemmini B bomb
Cockaroach G pod
Standard Leg
Desert Castle.
Now, the trick is, to down him often. Accel gun hurts if you let them hit
you, so down him quick with the gun, or just keep running if he sets them.
Next up, is Tomoka. she uses
Little Chick
Particle Gun
Crecent P bomb
Dolphin pod
Grounder leg.
Note: Particle gun hurts. majorly. Dont get hit by it.
that being said, run around like mad. Avoid using the "Rapidfire" guns
that fire more than one shot. Stick with 1 shot guns,like Magnum gun.
theyre the best for fighting any little Raider/Sprinter.
Win a Video Chip, containing a clip of Soulboost, and if you noticed,
the person using the Wolfen is acutally

- Day 5
Today is the Forester School VS Team No.1
Head to Forester School, and get dragged into the Robo battle club
there. You have a fight of 3 battles ahead of you, and they like the
air.
Like, really Really like the air.

this should keep you alive for most of today, so get a hang of it.
Saki will bombard you with propaganda and suchnot, and give you
all a pep talk. Tolle loses to the first person in about 2 seconds.
You are sent up to battle them, and you fight 3 people.
Anyways, your third fight is against Hinageshi, she uses
Miranda
Scorpion Gun
Wave bomb
Cockaroach G
Formula Leg
L formation
Okey. This fight might be tricky because SHE has SoulBoost(Explained later)
Soulboost gives a temporary boost to everything, especially attack power.
The trick for beating this girl is to needle her out of the air, and wait
for the soulboost. After soul boost is over, they get a MAJOR nerf in ability
for a set amount of time. Take advantage of this completely, and bash her
with smashes and needle gun combos.
Now, after everyones beaten and Saki is a BIT amused, you get sent off to Mt.
Kama, where you are to head up to the top. you fight 1 person, who is easy to
beat, and are given a choice between one of 3 battles, Easy, Easy, and Easy.
Its SUPPOSED to be Easy, Medium, Hard, but all 3 are easy as hell.
Now, head to the little rundown shack, and watch the cutscene where your told to
go home. Head home afterwards, and rest up for tommorow.
