Mission Statement
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
I was looking through a bunch of my older games and was wondering to myself
why I didn't write any FAQs for these classics. So I decided to write a guide
for one of my favorites. That is why this guide is here today. I hope it can
help you out.

__________
Objective:   Beat your opponent in a stardard game of two vs two volleyball.
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯   The first team to 15 points wins, but you must win by two points.

_______________
One Player Easy   Obviously, this mode is for only one player. The computer's
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯   skill level is not nearly as good as the normal mode. This is
recommended for beginning players, or those of you who just
                 suck at this game.
_________________
One Player Normal   A greater challenge is in store for you if you choose the
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯   normal mode of play. Watch out, the computer is much faster
and more aggressive with its shots.

•============================================================================•
|      I V                      STRATEGY                                     |
•============================================================================•

______________
Bump Set Spike   This is an easy way to insure that you do not have any wild
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯   shots fly out of bounds. To correctly use this strategy you
just get under the ball after the other team hits it over the
net. Once you do that, it will fly over to your teammate. The
first hit is called a bump. Then get under the ball again with
your teammate. He will set it over to the original guy. Then
get under it again and the ball will go over the net. Not too
much thinking involved, just basic volleyball.
____________________
No Bump No Set Spike   This method is one much more aggressive in nature. You
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯   should be hitting the action button every time that it
gets near one of your players. Doing this will hit it
over the net. At first glance, this is a clearly better
strategy, but you do not have nearly as much last second
mobility to correct any errors that you might have with
                      perception. So be careful.
________________
Watch The Middle   For some reason, there is a small strip right in the middle
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯   of the court that neither you nor your teammate will ever be
able to get to if the ball is hit there. This can get very
frustrating, however, you can turn the tables around and be
as aggressive as you can in hitting the ball in the other
                  team's "middle zone".
____________
Use Both Men   There is a restriction in the game that does not allow one
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯   player to cover the field. Each man will stop right at the
midpoint of the court. This means if a ball is hit low, you must
use the lower man to hit the ball. So DO NOT focus all of your
attention on one man. The best way to do this is after every
hit, go back to about the center of each person's half court and
wait for the other team to hit it back.
____________
Get The Ball   Due to the nature of volleyball, you can only score if you have
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯   control of the ball. If the opponent always gets the ball, you
will never be able to score. If you have the ball it is crucial
to keep it. Likewise if the computer has the ball, do everything
in your power to get it back, because they too can not score
              unless they have the ball.
