1. Introduction
--------------------------------------------------------------------
This FAQ covers Arkanoid DS for the Nintendo DS. It is a fine entry
in the long-running Arkanoid series, which started as an arcade
game in  1986 and has seen entries on the NES, SNES, Playstation,
and several PC formats. Arkanoid levels have guest starred in other
Taito games, including Rainbow Islands on arcade and DS, minigame
collections Turn It Around (AKA Mawasunda) on DS, and Furu Furu
Park on Wii.

Arkanoid DS is now available in both Japan and America.
Unfortunately the paddle controller is only available in Japan, but
you can order it from online retailers if you want.
Yes, the paddle
controller works with the US version of the game. All true
Arkanoid fans owe it to themselves to get the paddle. The game is
so much more fun with its tactile sensations. The controller comes
in several colors: white, black, silver, and pink. Space Invaders
Extreme for DS supports the paddle as well.

9. VS Game
--------------------------------------------------------------------
You can play against the computer or other people either locally or
online. Battling other people is actually the single best way to
earn Points because you gain 100 Points for winning and 50 Points
for losing.

Fast Points Trick:
With 2 DS systems, set player one to 5 shields and Easy difficulty.
Set player two to 0 shields and Hard difficulty. Tape or hold down
the B button on player two's system to keep the ball launching.
Now player one just needs to tap A intermittently to keep the game
going while player two dies over and over. Player one can earn
about 200 Points a minute by doing this.

Interesting VS. Exclusive Zones:
-Bananas
-Bob from Bubble Bobble
-Cake
-Cocktail Glass
-The Letter A
