When he lands, approach him and punch him repeatedly until he

Carefully jump over the platforms to avoid falling into the pit below.

Climb the steps and wait for the floating platform to move left.
Jump onto the platform and ride it to the right side of the pool of flames.
Enter the door.
Ride the platforms up.
Enter the door.
Head left.
Enter the door.
Jump toward the left and ride the wind to the other side of the gap.
Enter the door.
Ride the wind up.
The chest contains a Stars of Frozen Rain.
Ride the wind up.
Jump over the gap with the aid of the wind.
Ride the wind up.
Enter the left door.
Ride the platforms up.
Jump down the path to the right.
Drop down the ladder.
Use the Beauteous Wings to jump over the wind gusts.
Alternately, come back after Jake gains the Ear Shield ability.
The chest contains a Wizard Star.
A good stat upgrade at this point might be Heart.
Enter the door to the left.
Ride the wind up.
Land on the platform in the northwest.
Enter the door.
The chest contains a Dungeon Key.
Exit through the door.
Return through the door in the lower right.

Jump across the gap to the locked door.
Enter the door.
Jake gains the Ear Shield ability.
Hold R to create a shield that can block enemy projectiles and allow you to
push through strong winds.

Use the Ear Shield to pass through the strong wind.

Boss Battle: Chainsaw Bear - Weaponized Ursa Major

HP: 175
Strategy: When the Bear growls, it will charge toward you.
Jump onto one of the floating platforms and jump over its chainsaw
as it approaches.
Swipe it a few times with your sword, but don't get too close.
The bear can swipe at you with its claws, as well.
The bear may also call three Knife bunnies to the battle.
Defeat them for a chance at getting HP recover items, if you need
them.
Keep your HP above 4 (1 complete heart).

Jump across the gap and use the Down Thrust on the stone switch.

Use the Ear Shield to deflect the Skeleton Butterfly's projectiles.
Jump over the gaps.

Strategy: 100 Gunter clones will fall from the four tubes located at the top
of the screen.
A green light will indicate when a clone will drop.
Simply hit a clone to defeat it.
Be careful not to stand under a tube as a clone drops.
Once 99 clones are defeated, a tougher Gunter will emerge.

Inside the cave, a Crystal Guardian blocks your path. You cannot defeat it
with your sword, and it will not attack you. Use the Stars of Frozen Rain to
defeat it and move forward.
Carefully jump across the platforms.
Use the Fist Smash on the rocks.
The treasure chest contains a Wizard Star.
Exit the cave.
Return to the Candy Kingdom.

Move to the left.
Be careful of the Charcoal Rocks that easily blend into the background.
The Gnomes, though low in HP, have tricky flight patterns that loop back and
forth. Wait until they move, then strike. Be careful, the gnome can also steal
loot from you.
Use the Beauteous Wings to reach the chest on the ledge.
Alternately, wait until Jake learns Umbrella.

Strategy: Deal 12 HP of damage to destroy the Ice Armor.
The Ice King will bounce around. Try not to stand where he lands,
but close enough to hit him.
He will shoot ice cube projectiles across the screen.
After about 75 HP have been depleted, the Ice King will shoot out
more devastating projectile blasts.
He will also bounch around much farther, making him more difficult
to hit.
Note: There seems to be a glitch in this battle. When the Ice King shoots
his projectiles while facing left, they seem to hit you shortly
after leaving him, but without being anywhere near you! To avoid
unneeded and unfair damage, stay to the right side of the screen
when he floats in the air.

Strategy: Guide Lady Rainicorn up and down the screen, avoiding Lumpy Space
Princess's projectiles. Touching any part of Lady Raincorn's body
with a projectile while it is still on screen will damage her.
Attack with (Y) to shoot a projectile that deals 25HP damage.
The best time to aim is when Lumpy Space Princess is sitting in
the middle of the screen. Aim for her and rapidly hit (Y). Getting
hit a few times is worth it, if you can pull off a lot of hits.
Note: If you fail this battle, you will restart from the start of this

New Game+
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
New Game+ can be accessed from the file select menu after clearing a game.
Press the + symbol to the right of the cleared game to switch from the main
game to the New Game+ game.
In this mode, all of the loot in your backpack will carry over to the start of
the game. Any Wizard Stars collected will also carry over. Story-related
things, such as treasures and Jake's moves will reset.

Complete a New Game+ game to unlock the Sound Test, where you can listen to
various music tracks from the game.

Secret Screen

This changes the the title screen to a special Secret Screen featuring
