This is a game FAQ made by Midnight Raven for the game Tokyo
Xtreme Racer 2.The only web site that, I will allow to use this game
FAQ is my site, www.cheatcc.com, www.gamefaqs.com, www.gamenotover.com,
and the people that I pass it out to and have gotten permission to use
from me. Passing your copy is allowed but replicating will be another
story.
First, I would like to thank all the people who gave me hints
that allowed me to beat the game in the game forums. I would also like
to thank Kami Kazi who I used his or her wander's requirement. Now to
the game, this FAQ for "Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2", will be broken down into
three sections. The first section will be the tips and hints part
which, will tell you basically what you have to do to meet all the
normal racers, bosses, and how to set-up cars to your needs. The second
section will be a complete car list with each car's specs and pricing.
The third section will be about the rivals' list, which will tell all
team leaders, bosses, and wanders info. It will also tell you the
requirements for the bosses, and wanders.
Section #1.The first thing I am going to tell you is how to
start in the game. What you should do is look for a car that is light
but at the same time powerful. The car class that fit in that range are
all class B cars which good and cheap. After this just start to race
and have fun.
Here are some tips that will help you make a good setting for
your car and your style of driving. This will be broken down for each
type of chassis set-up.
[FF] cars are good in handling so you really do not need to do anything
in making these cars handle better. But if your [FF] car has severe
under steer all you have to do to correct it is go to the brake balance
area, in the setting screen, and set the brakes more to the back of the
car. Another thing you can do is raise the front of the car and lower
the back of the car.
[FR] cars are good in handling too but if it has, severe under steer
this is what you would do to correct it. First go to the setting screen
and set the brake balance to the back of the car. Then if it still has
some under steer you have to do is raise the front of the car and lower
the back of the car.
[MR] cars corner extremely well or just too much. If you have a car
like the Honda NSX, which have some over steer this is what you have to
do to correct it. First go to the setting screen and set the brakes
balance more to the front of the car. Another thing you can do is to
lower the front of the car and raise the back of the car.
[RR] cars corner extremely good at lower speed but at high speed, they
are speeding soap bars. They slip like crazy. The way that you can
correct this is by setting the brake balance all the way to the front.
Then you would have to set the height of the front to the car close to
the lowest and set the back of the car almost to the highest point.
After that you would have to set both the suspension rebound to the
hardest. After that, you will have to set the suspension stiffness to
have the front hard and the back soft.
[4WD] Cars corner well and have good balance so do not do to much to
the car or you will ruin the cornering of the car.
If you work hard enough with the settings, you will be able to almost
tame any car in the game. Even the Porsche but it might need even more
tuning to help tame it.
Here are some tips that will help you make a good setting for
your car acceleration and speed. It will be broken down into the engine
type for example, [NA] and [Turbo].
[NA] cars out of my experience are not as powerful as [Turbo] cars but
have good endurance so if you're a person that races for a long period
of time then these are the cars for you. Now I will give you some hints
in making your [NA] car accelerate or speed to your needs. If you want
it to accelerate quick then all you have to do is set your transmission
gears more to the left of the gear center. If you want the cars speed
higher set the transmission gear more to the right of the center.
Remember to always try to balance acceleration and speed out because if
you do, it will give you a champ car.
[Turbo] car out of my experience, are very powerful cars so if you like
to race quickly then these are your types of cars. Most [Turbo] cars
that are highly tuned accelerate quickly so do not worry about the
car's acceleration. You should worry more about the car's speed. As you
have probably read the way you get speed is to set the transmission
gears more to the right of the center.
Section #2. This is the car list area and it will be broken down
into Class A,B,C. This is how the car list will be set-up for every
vehicle.

models.
Section #3. This section will explain some of the thing you will
have to do to race certain people. It will also have a rival list that
will describe most of the racers and give most of their requirements.
To race each boss in this game you will have to drive a car in a
certain car class. So if you want to race all the bosses it will take
three times through the game. So first, you should start with C class
cars. Then in the second time, you start with a class B car. In the
third try then use the A class car which you already have.
To race wanders you will have to fulfill each wander's
requirement some will want to race a certain car some will want to race
depending on the money or miles you have. I will tell you in the
wanders part what each of their requirements are.
To race some sub leader in the game you will either have to lose
to all team members, win all team members, or win and lose to some team
members. The leader himself will race you after you beat all normal
team members, or if you beat one of the sub leader.
