In this FAQ I have typed up the dialogue and story related text that appears
in Golden Axe for Sega Genesis. The text is exactly as it appears in the game
except it's not all capitals.

His brother was killed

"Death Adder invaded
the castle and has
taken the King and
Princess prisoners.
My good friend Alex
was also killed in
the battle. To defeat
them is a must and
bringing peace to
the land is my duty!"

Our sworn
enemy Death
Adder is in
his castle.
We'll take a
shortcut
through the
turtle village.

The village
was on the
back of a
giant turtle.
The turtle
takes us south,
across the sea.

********************************************
We have gone
in close
vicinity of
the castle.
But the way is
packed by
enemy lines.
We must dare
the "Fiend's
Path" to reach
the castle.

The "Fiend's
Path" was a
great great
eagle.
We are taken
across the
skies to the
castle.
Now the final
battle begins.

After the King and Princess are rescued...
"Take my utmost
gratitude for our
rescue.
I thank you and your
courage.For it had
rid of Death Adder
and hideous plot.
......But I have a
feeling that he
might have been
taking orders.
Come to think of it,
not a few times did
he disappear into
that door!
Will you not go into
battle for me, once
again?"
"Yes, my lord!!"
