I do not profess to be fluent in Japanese. I was neither born in Japan nor
have I ever been there (altough I would love to go). I have had very little
formal schooling in Japanese (a class that met almost every week for a few
months out of the year); what Japanese I do know is a result of intensive
self-study for the past three years (and lots of anime and manga ^_^). None
of the translation work I have ever done has ever been for profit; all such
projects were done due to my own personal interest or requests from friends.
The only real evidence I can give that this translation is not mere bull is
essentially my own word and various dictionary entries. In short, I am not
a professional translator. Yet. Furthermore, none of my work is authorized
by SEGA, RED, or any other company. I am doing this merely as a service to
fans who will probably never see the game otherwise translated into English.

春公演が終わって帝劇もしばらく休演だし……今日は、何をしようかな。
The spring performance is over, and the TeiGeki is on vacation for a little
while......so what should I do today, I wonder?

(Chuu'i (中尉), which translates roughly to 'first lieutenant' as an army
rank or 'lieutenant junior grade' as a naval rank, is the next rank up after
shou'i (少尉).)

Ehh!? I'm......going to be a lieutenant, you say!?

Oogami. This past year, the fighting exploits of the Hana-Gumi you've
