Japanese; what Japanese I do know is a result of intensive self-study over

Today as well, outside the weather is nice, clear and sunny, just right for
spring.
春公演が終わって帝劇もしばらく休演だし……今日は、何をしようかな。
The spring performance is over, and the TeiGeki is on vacation for a little
while......so what should I do today, I wonder?

(......Hm? Who could it be?)
はーい、今開けまーす。
Yes, I'm opening it up right now.

大神はん。ヒマしてはります？
Oogami-han. Do you have some free time?

大神
やあ、紅蘭。何か用かい？
Hey, Kohran. Is there something you need?

あのな……ウチが前に花やしき支部で働いてたんは知ってはるやろ？
Well......You know that I worked previously at the Hana-Yashiki branch,

花やしき支部は、地下に兵器工房があるんやけど……
Underground, the Hana-Yashiki branch has a weapons workshop, but......
地上部分は遊園地になっとって一般の人たちも遊べるようになってるんや。

I've been summoned by Manager Yoneda. I don't know what for, though......

何やて！？ウチも、米田はんに呼ばれたんやで。
What!? I've been called by Yoneda-han too.

へーっ……二人同時に呼び出しなんていったい、何だろう。
Hehh......Calling us both at the same time - what in the world could it be?

何か、おもろそうやな。とにかく、米田はんに話をきいてみよか。
Somehow, it seems kind of interesting. Anyway, shall we hear what Yoneda-han

大神。お前は本日付けで、海軍中尉に昇進することになった。
Oogami. As of today, you are being promoted to the rank of Navy Lieutenant
Junior Grade.
(Chuu'i (中尉), which translates roughly to 'first lieutenant' as an army
rank or 'lieutenant junior grade' as a naval rank, is the next rank up after
shou'i (少尉).)

大神
ええっ！？自分が……中尉に、ですか！？
Ehh!? I'm......going to be a lieutenant, you say!?

米田
大神よ。この一年、お前の率いた花組の戦績は実に優秀だった。
Oogami. This past year, the fighting exploits of the Hana-Gumi you've
commanded have truly been superior.
被害を最小限に押さえ、帝撃を勝利に導いてきた功績が海軍で高く評価されたのさ。
You've kept damage to a minimum level, and your achievements leading the
TeiGeki to victory have been highly valued in the Navy.
