    Well that was fast, finished ready to send in.


Just to get it out of the way I know what your first question is, WHY A
COLOR FAQ? Well when I first heard bout GGX I wasn't too excited seeing
that the first installment was a nice attempt from a company not known
for fighting games. Well when I started seeing pics of GGX I was taken
in by the visuals, beautiful visuals that made me think..."is this an
anime??" It was that sweet!!! I waited til the day it was released in
Japan for the DC, ordered it online, and got it the next day. I popped
the game in and was blown away. Though lacking in the story department
and my gripes with the reaction time of the buttons this was still one
of my best buys. A year passed and the PS2 version came out, and its
still there. Here you will find only DC version colors, if the PS2 has
different colors then your screwd. hahahhah...j/k. you'll just have to
find out by yourself, sorry.

II. Hello everyone thank you very so much for checking out this here faq
for the different colors the characters of Guilty Gear X have to offer.
This is my second attempt at writing a faq for posting at GAMEFAQS, my
first being Streetfighter 3: Double Impact for the Dreamcast. Still
living in California, hot as h3ll, boring too!!! Still an anime fan,
electonica fan also, Drum'n'bass my fav!!!

I've grown a bit and so have my skillz. On to the characters, player
play on--->

III.Characters

Each character has 5 colors right from the start to choose from, but
also have 5 hidden colors to unlock. How do you get the other 5 you say?
well the other colors are unlocked by going into SURVIVAL MODE and
clearing all 100 levels. The good thing is that GGXs SURVIVAL MODE is
different from others in that you don't fight 100 characters, you
instead gain levels by not dying, killing off your opponent quick, and
by just kicking ass! If you think you got what it takes to clear all 100
levels go right ahead, but if your like me and don't want to go through
all the hassle of dying midway through survival mode I recommend a
couple of cheats listed further down this page.

*NOTE YOU ONLY HAVE TO PASS SURVIVAL MODE ONCE WITH ANY CHARACTER TO GET
ALL OF THE COLORS FOR EVERY CHARACTER, AND IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO YET,
TESTAMENT AND DIZZY WILL ALSO BE UNLOCKED*

*alphabetical order*
Each character has 10 colors in total. From the start you have 5, to
choose them simply press the button. After beating Survival mode and
unlocking the other 5 simply hold down the button you want for a few
seconds and then let go.

Each character has 2 special colors, a GOLD version and a SHADOW version

1. Anji Mito

X: Peach skin, brown pants, white hair, white/black fan
Y: Light skin, white pants, red hair, red/black fan
A: Default color in manual
B: Light skin, light red pants, black hair, black/white fan

    For those who want to get all the characters colors the easy way
heres a list of cheats for you to use. The following cheats are tested
and work with the GAMESHARK US version.

*note* the hit opponent anywhere code also applies to you as well and
can be quite bothersome in later levels, around 80-100 the opponents can
get quite hard to hit and will take some time to kill them off or be
like me and let the timer run out after you have gotten in your hits for
the round.*
