==SECTION 1: HISTORY OF AJA KONG ==
===================================

Born in Tokyo of a Japanese Mother and an African-American serviceman she
never met, Aja had a hard time growing up. Joining the AJW dojo as a
teenager, she made her in-ring debut nine days before her Sixteenth
birthday. Teamed with Bison Kimura to form the team Jungle Jack, who feuded
intensely with then-top heel Bull Nakano. Defeated Nakano on 11/26/92 to
become the WWWA World Champion, and held the belt until 26/3/95. Regained it
soon after, on 6/27/95, but lost it for the final time on 8/30/95. Slipped
down the card after losing the belt, and left AJW to become a freelancer in
1997. Acheived little until she founded the Arsion promotion in October of
that year. Won the Queen of Arsion title on 8/6/99, eventualy losing it to
rising star Ayako Hamada on 12/3/2000. Shockingly left Arsion in Februart
2001 and now works almost exclusively for GAEA Japan.
Aja is commonly regarded amongst Joshi Puroresu fans as being the greatest
working Monster heel of all time, and the only real candidate for Joshi
Wrestler on the 90s. Dean Ramsmussen of deathvalleydriver.com says she is
the single best Wrestler in the world, and his opinion holds weight.

==SECTION 4: STRATEGY==
=======================

GENERAL: Although she is very much in the Powerful Monster mode, Aja is a
very versatile performer in the ring. In Fire Pro D thuogh, this versatility
hurts as much as it helps - many of her signature moves are so far out of
the Power Wrestling style that they have a D or E rating. So if you are
playing to win and win alone, there a huge chunks of her moveset that you
should avoid using. If you¹re playing so you can have a good match,
everything she can do is suitable though.

STRIKES: The Low Kick is a nice short range move, and the middle kick is the
best looking strike in the game, but they are both E rated moves and so
should not be used too often. The Lariat, Football Tackle and Uraken are all
devastatingly powerful, but all but impossible to hit early in a match. So
with Aja, you have to use the grapples to set up the strikes, rather than
the other way around. Note that the corner charge bodypress is very
damaging, and the opponent will almost always stay down long enough for you
to follow up with a top rope move - Aja is deadly in the air.

GRAPPLES: Again, the fact that she is not a stereotypical Power Wrestler
hurts Aja - her Suplex variations look nasty as hell, but they are D rated
moves and take a lot out of Aja in the execution. The Waterwheel drop looks
perfectly horrific to take, but is rated E! Aja does have some typical
powermoves though, and the headbutt, chop, hammer blow, and bearhug are
effective as weardown moves. The Jumping Piledriver and Steiner Screw Driver
are brutally effective and are both rated A, so would be a great way to set
up the Uraken for the finish. The corner grapple Avalanche Waterwheel drop
is a signature move, and one of the most painful looking moves in the game,
so although the other corner grapples have better ratings, go for this move
anyway and watch your opponent get squished like a bug.

OPPONENT DOWN MOVES: There is not actually all that much here that is worth
using too much; The elbowdrop to the back of the head and the sit-up kick to
the back are your best, non-pinfall attempt moves here. But you can do more
damage pulling your opponent upright and hitting a Clothesline, Football
Tackle of Uraken than you can by applying a Boston Crab. But if your
opponent is worn down enough that they¹ll stay down for a long time, go to
the top rope and come off with a double foot stomp, backward elbowdrop or
Superheavy bodypress - they¹re all rated A!

PLAYING AGAINST AJA: Aja has low neck endurance and low Suplex defence, so
the obvious way to finish her off would be with head-dropping Suplexes. Her
strongest Defences are against Strikes, and her finishing move is a striking
move that criticals surprisingly often, so it would make sense to avoid
standing strike exchanges. Using submission holds to wear her down will work
at lower COM levels, but they are escaped from too soon to do real damage at
higher difficulty levels. So my recommendation would be to focus on the
grapple moves. If you have a dropkick or something similar off a run or run
counter, using that extensively should wear Aja out and exploit her
comparatively low flying defense. But head-dropping Suplexes are your best
bet to finish her off.
