version 1.5
________________________________________________________________________________
If you have been to my page, you will see that I have said one of Nina's
Style's is KOPPO...or "the way of the bone". What you are about to read
is a move list/article/faq on Nina's throws, multi-parts, and reversals.
I did this because, much like King, the throws and multis are the essence
of Nina. Don't get me wrong, I love all of Nina's moves, but there is
nothing better than finishing off your opponent with an arm or leg break.
In this move list/article/faq:
A. Faq History
B. Move conventions
C. Basic throws and grapples
D. Multi-parts
E. Side Step throws
F. Reversals
You may find nothing new here, but I felt it necessary to focus on these
moves separately from a normal Nina faq.

A. FAQ HISTORY
1.0 = initial writing
1.5 = added some helpful hints for Crab Claw Multi(QCW+3+4), new but old
ending part for the Knee Bash Multi(QCB+1+4), and hints for the Knee
bash multi; all by THROTTLE.
________________________________________________________________________________
B. MOVE COVENTIONS(from Catlords faq)
1 = left punch
2 = right punch
3 = left kick
4 = right kick
df = joystick in the down-forward position
b = back
d = down
QCT = Quarter circle toward(starting from down: d-df-f)
QCB = Quarter circle back(same as above except the other way: d-db-b)
F = Hold forward on the joystick
+ = buttons pushed simultaneously ie: 1+2
, = button pushed one after the other ie: 1,2,3,4
________________________________________________________________________________
To master this you almost HAVE to push all the buttons in the sequence.
IE: 2+4,1,2,1,2,1,3. If you push all these in a complete flow, this should
work.
QCT+1+2 Palm Grab (muli)
3,4,3,1+2 Neck Cutter, Arm Bar (ending part)
2,3,4,2,2 Knee Bash, Neck Snap (part)
1,3+4,1,2,1+2 Falling Neck Snap (ending part)
1,2,4,3,1+2+3 Octopus Special (ending part)
1,3,2,1 Standing Reverse Arm Lock (part)
3,1,4,1+2,1+2 Rear Gatelatch Falconwing Squeeze (ending part)
2,1,3,4,1+2 Falling Reverse Arm Lock (ending part)
This multi is the one I like to use the most. I find it more easy to
execute than the other ones. As the animation for the Palm Grab starts,
you need to start the button presses for (parts). As those animations
start, you need to start the presses for the (ending parts). Once you
practice these and see what the "parts" look like, you will be able to
judge when to start your button presses.
QCT+3+4 Crab Claw (multi)
3+4,3,4,1+2 Rolling Arm Bar (ending part)
3+4,4,2,1+2 Achilles Tendon Lock (part)
3,1,4,2+4 Knee Cross Lock (ending part)
1,3,2+4,3+4,1+2 Rolling Achilles Tendon Lock (ending part)
*NOTE: Nina will do the Achilles Tendon Lock automatically if you
connect the Bone Cutter (f,f,F+3) on a counter hit. From there you can
do one of the two (ending parts).
This is one I am constantly practicing. I have found that you need to do
the (part) button presses immediately after you do the (multi) button presses.
IE: QCT+3+4,3+4,3,4,1+2. Then as the animation for the (part) is showing,
then do the presses for the (ending part).
*BY THROTTLE*
The main thing that I find is that the first link in the multi (after
the qcf ?+?) should be done after you grab the guy, but before you start
to break. So when youactually lay hands on him, that's when I begin.
It's the same for both the arm break multi and the leg break multi. Another
trick is that in Tekken 3 (I'm not too sure about Tekken 2) if you press
and hold 2, then press 1, it will register into the computer as 2,1+2.
This might come in handy for the leg break part (3+4,4,2,1+2) because after
you press the first 2, you can hold it and then press just 1. This helps
because the motion is simpler, and when it comes to pressing 2 buttons at
once, it's easy to make a mistake (especially under pressure). As for
the second link in the multi, I think you can just press the commands
immediately after the first multi link commands.
QCB+1+4 Knee Bash (multi)
1,3,2,1 Standing Reverse Arm Lock (part)
3,1,4,1+2,1+2 Rear Gatelatch Falconwing Squeeze (ending part)
2,1,1+2,1+2+3 Twisting Arm Lock (part)
1,2,4,3,1+2+3 Three Limb Break (ending part)
This one I am still experimenting with, for my arcade just got Tekken 3
a few weeks ago. I assume that like the previous multi, you must push
the (multi) and the (part) buttons right away, one after the other.
You can use the same trick with the holding of buttons (above)
then you press 2,1,1+2(hold),3.
I have made reversals a very important part of my personal arsenal.
This really suprises the button smashers. Nina will do a different
reversal depending on where your opponent strikes you.

Well...that's it. I will be updating this as I get a little more time on
Tekken 3. I hope you like this and hopefully even gotten something out of
it.
