The BIG SPORT is back. 90 Minutes is the most
perfect football game simulator made until now
for the Sega`s Dreamcast console. It`s a big
and very playable football type of game.
This FAQ is my third one for soccer games.I'm
a big fan of this game and i thing that all the
help that we can have isn't enough.
I've start making FAQs becuse i think that are
some things that i know that can be shared
with other players.I can be also a good
example to all the Dreamcast users becuse all
my FAQs are made using it.In my FAQs you will
find a very easy to understand type of
language since English isn't my natural one (i'm
Portuguese).I also want to thanks to Gamefaqs
for keeping my FAQs and all the internet sites
that currently keep some of my FAQs.
In this FAQ i have done something new.My
other FAQs had an inglish and a portuguese
version.For all the portugueses that want to
read the portuguese version of this FAQ go to
the botom of the FAQ.There is the translated
version of the tips and all about the game.
In this FAQ you will find the complete guide for
the players edit mode.

TIPS FOR THE GAME
____________________________________________________

Use the 4-4-2 formation.
This is the most used formation in soccer.The
2 central midfield players play in front of the
defence.It's a very defencive formation.It's
a very important formation to use with teams
that have players that aren't very good .
If you chose this type of formation you must
have a player or two that have good speed
skills.Use the long balls and the speed of your
players to try to score some gols.
Don't try to drible the players.Try passing the
ball to one of your fellow players.Make sure
you have a good starting lineup and also a
good strategy.Don't forgett to substitute an
injured player as soon as possible.Put the ball
out of play to make changes.Also remember
that players who take many yellow cards will
miss a match.
Make changes in the lineup to avoid this.
During the game don`t forgett to see the
energie of your players.Green is good but if
it`s getting yellow change the player.

The easy way to score gols in this game
is this :

- Try to pass the ball to the players that are
near the side line.

- Run with the ball until you are near the final
line.

- Make a cross pass to the players in the
oponents area.

- Press the shoot and you will score.

This strategy is very good to be used with
all teams.Even with teams that have very good
defence players this is very easy to be done.

TIPS FOR THE GAME 2
____________________________________________________

THE GOAL KEEPER

The goal keeper is one of the most important
players of the game.With him you must be
very careful to not make a wrong pass to the
forwards of the other team.In the penalty
shoot ( and after more than 100 games made
by me ) the best thing to do is to be still.Do
not move your goal keeper becuse the player
that shoot the penalty send the ball to the
place where you are.Do not move to much
when the forwards of the other team are near
just stay still to try to stop their shoots.

THE DEFENCE

Dont make things bad.If you see that your
player cant control the ball shoot it.Dont try
to make dribles in a defence position.If you
lose the ball things will be bad to you.Dont
make penaltys.This is most of the times the
reason to a red card.Be careful with the high
balls.Just try to be better than the forwards
of the other team.

THE MIDLEFIELD

Its with this players that all the game is made
since a good pass made to the forwards can
be a goal.The best thing to do is to make a
pass only when you can see that your forward
is free of the defence.If you can not make a
pass just advance with the ball until you have
a good passing line to the forwards.If you see
that your defence is having problems try to
help them.

THE FORWARDS

Do things the easy way.Dont drible becuse you
can lose the ball control.Try to make the
shoots very simple.A good forward is the one
that can score a lot of goals.

THE SIDE PLAYERS

To this field position you must chose a player
that haves a good speed.Try to run as fast as
you can and try to go almost to the other
teams area making cross passes to your
forward.

In this game is possible to win all the cups
with any team but if you want to have an
allstar team you must do this.

- Go to the utility option and chose customize.
Them chose edit existing team and exchange
players.

- Chose the team you want to play with.

- Now go and trade the players from your
team with this ones :

In the Select national players option chose the
english league and the Everton team.Then go
and chose the number 28 player (Abel Xavier).
Now just change him with other portuguese
national player ( for example Paulo Madeira )

game use the Edit original team option.

O desporto rei esta de volta. 90 Minutes e a
mais recente aposta da Sega e parece que os
resultados finalmente estao a aparecer. Mais
realista e com graficos mais detalhados que
outro jogo deste tipo para a Dreamcast este
e um titulo obrigatorio para os fans desta
modalidade. Neste FAQ encontrarao descricoes
detalhadas de como se deve gerir o nosso
plantel de como se deve proceder para ter
acesso as competicoes escondidas bem como
o acesso a equipas bonus.

Conselhos para o jogo

Para iniciar as ajudas vou comecar por referir
os esquemas tacticos.O mais usual e talvez o
que nos oferece melhores garantias de
sucesso e o 4-4-2a.Neste sistema os dois
medios funcionam como trincos oferecendo uma
maior solidez defenciva.Este sistema e
extremamnte bom para ser utilizado por
equipas cujos jogadores nao sejam muito
dotados.Para todos aqueles que tem
dificuldades em conseguir marcar golos com
este tipo de equipas uma boa estrategia e a
velocidade.Os pontas de lanca devem ser
jogadores rapidos de modo a se desmarcarem
a defesa contraria.Sempre que interseptem
bolas fassam lancamentos longos de modo a
efectuarem contra ataques extremamente
mortiferos.Acreditem que ira ser muito mais
facil marcarem golos so com o guarda redes
pela frente.
Outros conselhos praticos sao a atencao que
se deve ter aos estatudos psicologicos que
os jogdores possuem.Utilizem sempre os mais
motivados e nunca se esquecam de substituir
o lesionados.

A melhor maneira de se marcar golos e esta :

- passem a bola para um dos vossos medios
extremos ( para quem nao sabe sao os que
jogam junto as laterais ).

- Corram ate a linha de fundo efectuam entao
um passe ragado para o interior da grande
area.

- rematem entao com um dos ponta de lanca
que sera golo pela certa.

Experimentem esta tactica porque ela funciona
ate com as defesas mais intransponiveis.
Quando estao a jogar nunca se esquecam de
verificar a barra verde que cada jogador tem.
Esta barra indica a quantidade de energia que
jogador possui aquando da chegada ao limite
minimo da mesma este perde nao so velocidade
mas tambem forca de remate e tempo de
reaccao a qualquer tipo de lance ( ofencivo ou
defensivo ).
Sempre que verificarem que a barra verde nao
sobe o melhor a fazer e mesmo sbstituir o
jogador em causa.Quando se substitui devese
ter em atencao a que posicao o mesmo joga.
Devemse evitar substituicoes de jogadores
para posicoes diferentes ( Ex. sai um avancado
para a entrada de um defesa ).Tais mudancas
nao trazem nada de bom,muito pelo contrario
prejudicam todo o funcionamento tactico da
vossa equipa.Sempre que surjam problemas a
nivel do controlo de jogo,o melhor que se deve
fazer e utilizar a opcao de treino de maneira
a criar um estilo proprio de jogo.Nunca se
esquecam que este jogo requer alguma pratica
para se poder ser campeao.

O GUARDA REDES

O guarda redes e sem duvida alguma um dos
mais importantes jogadores dentro de campo.
E certo que dos pontas de lanca vem os golos
mas se nao tivermos um guarda redes que seja
suficientemente bom a deter as bolas nao nos
vale de nada marcarmos muitos golos.Devemos
ter sempre em atencao na hora de efetuar
um passe para os nossos defesas pois um
pequeno descuido e a bola acabara nos pes do
avancado da equipa adversaria.Nos penaltis a
melhor coisa a fazer e pura e simplesmente
nao se mexerem.Posso dizer que mais de 90%
dos remates nestes casos vao a figura ( fiz
mais de 100 jogos para poder comprovar ).

OS DEFESAS

Nao brinquem na vossa retaguarda.Um passe
mal feito ou um drible despropositado deixam
o avancado adversario na maioria das vezes
frente a frente com o vosso guarda redes.Se
veem que nao tem espaco para fintar ou para
efectuar um passe para o companheiro mais
proximo simplesmente chutem a bola para o
mais da vossa baliza quanto possivel.No jogo
aereo tentem ser mais rapidos que o vosso
aversario pois grande parte do sucesso da
vossa defesa reside aqui.

O MEIO CAMPO

Grande parte do exito num jogo de futebol
passa pela qualidade do vosso meio campo e
pela maneira como voces o controlam.Tentem
criar linhas de passe para os vosso avancados
de maneira a conseguir isolalos.Se estas linhas
de passe nao sao possiveis avancem no campo
ate terem visivel uma boa linha de passe.
Sempre que a vosa linha defenciva nao se
desembaraca do poder ofencivo da outra
equipa e aconcelhavel que o meio campo
recue para efectuar uma maior e mais eficas
pressao defensiva.

OS AVANCADOS

Na hora de rematar a baliza nao estejam com
grandes cerimonias.Rematem o mais rapido
possivel.Grande parde da eficacia de um bom
avancado vem da sua capacidade de criar o
efeito surpresa.Nao tentem driblar dentro da
area adversaria.Numa fraccao de segundos
podem deitar tuto a perder.

OS EXTREMOS

Para esta posicao devem escolher nao so os
jogadores com mais velocidade mas tambem
com um bom drible e poder de controlo de bola.
Corram pelas laterais com a bola dominada ate
a linha de fundo onde devem efectuar um
cruzamento para o interior da area.

Neste jogo e possivel ganhar todas as tacas
com qualquer equipa mas se queres comandar
uma equipa de estrelas faz o seguinte :

- Vai a utility option e escolhe customize.
Depois escolhe edit existing team seguido de
exchange players.

- Escolhe a equipa com a qual queres jogar.

- Agora troca os jogadores da tua equipa por
os da seguinte lista :
