Keys. Although the screen starts by saying there are five keys to find, there
are
actually seven in the game, meaning you'll end up with a key count of 254 by
the end.
They're worth 100 points and 4% completion.
* Key in room 14 opens south exit in room 29, opening the rest of the game
* Key in room 12 opens south exit in room 57, opening room 62
* Key in room 55 opens south exit in room 12, opening room 84
* Key in room 86 opens west exit in room 84, opening up room 116
* Key in room 116 opens north exit in room 62, opening up room 50
* There is /something/ in room 50, almost off-screen.
* Key in room 69 presumably opens east exit in 18, but this doesn't work due to
a bug
* Key in room 72 presumably opens south exit in 11, but this doesn't work due
to a bug
Enemies
* Most enemies don't really do anything, and touching them adds to your
completion rate.
* The enemy in room 6 [2%] 27 [1%], 55 [1%], and 105 turn off the light in the
room.
* The enemy in room **26, 10, 16, and 120 RESETS THE GAME if you touch it.
* If a room has a block moving left, it is possible, but very hard, to enter
from the
left and dodge around the block. Of course, doing so several times is
required to
complete the game, which is why a cheat for infinite lives is basically
required.
Other items:
* Potions give you one extra life, and are found in rooms 42 [1%], 46, 77 [1%],
and 109. 30 pts.
* Question orbs in rooms 4 [3%] and 92 turn off the light.
* Question orb in 32 and 99 gives an extra life [3%]
* Question orbs in other rooms don't appear to do anything.
* Radarsoft signs are worth 500 points. 15, 65 [1%]
Bugs
* The exit west from 19 lands you in the wall in 18, although you can
backtrack. Going north
from 23 lands you in the wall in 11, and you'll die, respawn, and keep dying.
These are
presumably incorrectly coded key doors.
* Blank rooms on the map don't exist, making it a 103-room maze. I've checked
with cheat mode.
* Occasionally an item can be triggered twice (giving the audible tone twice);
this will
increase your completion percentage twice, as well. Likewise, enemies that
give 1%
completion will occasionally give 2%.
* Score and #keys doesn't update until you leave the room.
