A non-official FAQ/Walkthrough for Commodore64 version.
This document is best viewed with the original display on the internet, or with
a word processor using fixed-width font style. Using some other font styles will
make the tables/maps displayed incorrectly.

This is the first time for me to write an FAQ for an old English video game, and
this game surprisingly still has got pretty many attentions around the internet.

A. CONTROLS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As far as I know, you can only use joystick, which should be a good news, right?
^_^

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
B. RULES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The A-Team is an old tv series. I knew many tv series like this, and some of
them might have been forgotten....

I, frankly, don't know much about The A-Team from the television, but it should
be a team that has four members which is at the game intro: B.A., Face,
Hannibal, Murdock.

You play as a soldier, which is just an unknown soldier if you are not familiar
with the tv series, like me >_> who try to beat The A-Team, all four of them
single-handedly. Of course, the game is done....rather primitively..., just like
the standard of video games in this era (1980s).

You only have 3 lives, and to beat all four of the A-Team members unlimited
times, that's all you've got! Ahem... this situation should be quite general for
video games in this era....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C. GENERAL TIPS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I dunno... just be quick... that's all I know.. since this game doesn't have any
ending.
As usual, you should be inhumanly quick for this game...

The two corners are safer place for you, but only for early levels.

D. WALKTHROUGH
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Insert the only floppy disk of the game into the first floppy drive, and the
game should start by introducing the four members of the A-Team, which'll be
your enemies.

The "walkthrough" is not really needed for games like this because the game is
pretty simple and linear. You start the game with 3 lives and at level 1. You
don't even have any BGM for the entire game.

You can only shoot your enemies within your range/row, and can't advance
forward, so do your enemies. The difference is you can only shoot once at a
time, but your enemies can shoot... let's say unlimited bullets to you...
hahaha!
Other bad news for you is you don't seem to be able to not move by default. So,
if you don't do anything, you will walk continuously in your row, starting to
the right.
The only way to get static is to press [Right] at the right corner, or press
[Left] at the left corner.

The A-Team members will have the same movement pattern for the whole game:
B.A.     Move with "teleportation" randomly around the row, but he'll always
move constantly after staying for some time.
Face     Move with more speed on his row.
Hannibal Move with less speed, appear for some time, then disappear for the same
        time with the appearance.
Murdock  Move with less speed.

Each A-Team member will need 10 shots to be killed. Each time you shoot your
enemies successfully, you'll get 100 score and he/they will change color. After
you kill one enemy, you'll get 500 score, and after you finish a level, by
killing all four of them, you'll be promoted to the next level and get 1000
score added.

It's not that the score is very important so that I mention about it, as it
doesn't do any single thing, except being recorded as high-score at HI section
for the single highest score until you turn off the game.

The color change:
10 HP  grey
09 HP  purple
08 HP  light green
07 HP  dark grey
06 HP  red
05 HP  brown
04 HP  yellow
03 HP  dark purple
02 HP  light blue
01 HP  white

As you get to the next levels, the enemies will shoot more often, and here comes
one of the nastiest cheat to make the game difficult: the game speed is also
made faster.
At level 32, you may not be able to read the game's message thoroughly.

The speed increase is only until 32 levels. At level 33, the speed back to level
1 again, but the enemies, I think, will shoot a little bit more often than level
1. This repeats until the end of time....
