*******************************************************************************

This guide is for everything you need to know about the The Punisher Arcade
game. If you have any questions or suggestions, please e-mail me at

Please do not copy this guide without my permission. Doing so will cause you to

-------------------------------------
1-1. Basic Information About the Game
-------------------------------------

==========================================
WHAT IS THE PUNISHER?
==========================================
THE PUNISHER is the old Capcom Action/Adventure 2-player beat 'em up
side-scrolling game. You have 2 characters to choose from. They are Frank
Castle and Nick Fury. The whole game is just plain easy if you know the tactics.
All you do is battle your way into an gang/machine infested world, and beat the
game, and relax while watching the credits.

=========
THE STORY
=========

"New York, a jungle of steel and concrete. Where predators of all kinds
mercilessly prey on all. Anytime, anywhere."

"Central Park, an oasis of green offering respite from the grey. Here
U.S. Marine Captain Frank Castle enjoys a picnic with his family."

"On that day, the Castel family accidentally discovered a brutal mob
killing. Fearing any witnesses, the killers gunned down the hapless
family."

"On that day Frank Castle's family died."

"On that day Frank Castle died."

"On that day I was born."

"To avenge them and all others like them."

"I am, the Punisher!"

"If you're guilty, you're dead."

==========================================
THE GAMEPLAY
==========================================
The gameplays VERY much like Final Fight, Alien vs Predator, and other
Capcom side-scrollers.

---------------------------->SECTION 2. WALKTHROUGH<---------------------------
*******************************************************************************

NOTE: This walkthrough will only be for Punishers side. Works the same for Nick
Fury's side too but the Round Names are different.

==========================================
2-1. ROUND 1: BACK TO THE WAR/FIRST STRIKE
==========================================

***************************************
Starting Point
Objects: Chairs, Casino Machine, Barrel
Items: Money, Food
***************************************

The moment you jump down, you'll see two punks ready to fight you. They are easy
work, so fight them off and grab all the items. Also, bust down the chairs and
the Casino machine on the left. Then go all the way until you can't go anymore.
More punks will appear and a barrel containing food. Kill off the punks and a
scene will generate.

**********************************
Outside the Building
Objects: Phone Booth, Tire, Barrel
Items: Food, Grenade
**********************************

Once Bruno flees the scene, you'll be outside the building. A couple of gun guys
will come out, so gun them down and take whatever items are available. Go right
until you can't anymore, and a bunch of punks will come and slaughter you. Kill
them off and a Yan Lee will come out eventually. If you need healing, the phone
booth there will provide you something very healthy and regenerating. Anyway,
careful though, as some punks will have weapons, so kill them off to make them
drop their weapon, and use it against them. Once all are dead, you are ready to
fight their big brother, named Scully.

*************
Boss: Scully
Objects: Tire
Items: None
*************

Once you get on the bus, the driver will still be driving. Don't worry about
that, as Scully is there wanting you dead. If he isn't enough, his little
brother punks will aide him. The quickest way to beat Scully is to launch all
your bombs at him. The slower way is to keep Scully on one side of the bus
and don't lose view on him. When you knock the punks down, you should focus
on Scully next. Scully only has one full life bar, so you should be able to
take him down pretty quick. Don't let him launch a kick or smack you, because
it takes a pretty good chunk of your overall health. Once you manage to kill
him, Punisher will get some information from him and kill him off...

======================================================
2-2. ROUND 2: RAID ON PANTABERDE/ASSAULT ON PANTABERDE
======================================================

NOTE: If at any time you used up all your bombs on a previous Round, your
Bomb Counter will be stocked up to 3 once you begin the next round.

***********************************
The Pool
Objects: Benches, Flower Bucket
Items: Grenade, and Various Jewelry
***********************************

Once you come out of the pool, hit all the benches to reveal various items.
There will be some enemies that will want you dead, so kill them off and go
all the way down to the right until you can't go anymore. Ninja women will
appear. Watch out, as these ninjas have Bisen Osafunes and can do a lot of
damaging moves. If they weren't enough, Yan Lee is there to back them up.
There is a grenade in the flower bucket in the northeast. If you have to
use a bomb, it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and use one. Once all of them are
dead, you will jump through the window and head to the next part..

***********************************************
Main Hall
Objects: Flower Bucket, Picture Frame, Doors(3)
Items: Grenade
People: Girls(2)
***********************************************

The moment you reach the ground, you will be presented with a couple of gun
guys and more as soon as you kill one of them. Kill all of them with your gun,
grab any items, and head up to the screen. Hit Door 1 to reveal a girl who
will hug you and give a 20% boost to your health. Do not move or else she'll
miss you. Hit Door 2 to reveal a rat, and hit Door 3 to reveal another girl
which will hug and give you some health. Hit the Picture Frame to reveal a
grenade and pick it up. Ok, I may not know how to describe them, but Tuxedo
guys will come out and give you a nice welcome. A she-male will also be here
with a Flamer. Hit that person to force the Flamer to be dropped, and use the
Flamer against them. A Hammer Guy will show sooner or later, so kill him off
to make him drop his hammer. Once you beat them all down, it's time for the
Round 2 Boss..

***************************
Guardroid
Objects: Bed, Picture Frame
Items: Various + Food
***************************

So Bruno gets what he deserves, and it's time for a big machine..

Yep, its name is Guardroid(or however you spell it..), and it is one big
machine for all I can say. Anyway, hit the bed to reveal some items and
food. If you need to replenish your health, grab the food. Then start using
the weapons you get against it. The perfect strategy to beat this guy is to
hit him some and then walk away before it has a chance to hit you! If you
don't care about score and just want to take this machine down, it wouldn't
hurt to use all of your bombs against it.. This boss is fairly easy and has
no backup to help it out.

=================================================
2-3. ROUND 3: WATERFRONT WARFARE/TRICKS AND TRAPS
=================================================

***********************
Streets
Objects: Cars, Barrels
Items: Various and Food
***********************

The streets is one long place, so go and destroy the car to prevent anyone
from coming out, and then go all the way until you can't go anymore. A Gus
and Red will be waiting here, as well as a Yan Lee and other enemies. So
be careful. Use a bomb to clear the enmies out if they are trying to gang
up on you. The bomb will take a huge amount of their lifebar and give you
a nice head start. Once everyone is dead, go all the way to the right again
until you can't go anymore. Destroy the car as usual to prevent the machine
gun guys from coming out. Gaullee with the M-16 is waiting for you here, so
gun him down and all the other Tuxedo guys. Grab the M-16 that Gaullee just
dropped and head on to the right until you can't go anymore. Two punks and
two Leons will be coming out. Shoot them all with the M-16 to take out most
of the enemies and kill the rest that survives. Hit all the barrels to
reveal various items for you to collect. And then head right.. This is the
last part of the streets. Some female ninjas and Pretty robots will be
coming for you. Luckily, you might have saved some weapons from the last
part, so use it against them. The female ninjas are FAST, so watch their
every move and you should be fine. If you manage to destroy ALL of the
Pretty robots, they'll give you some refreshments to recover your health.
Once everyone is dead, you head inside the hangar...

******************
Hangar - 2nd Floor
Objects: Tires
Items: Food
******************

Once you get in, head up the screen and a Bat guy and Leon will be waiting.
Kill them both off and keep going, but WATCH OUT! Saxon will come flying at
you with the Flying Kick, so stay down touching the rails to avoid that. A
good strategy would be to use the bat against him and save the knife for
the next part. Once Saxon is gone, head left.. and keep going until you
come across a Red Lamp and two punks. First, head down to get some food
behind the tires, and then go kill the three baddies. Once all three of
them are dead, it's time to face a boss...

***********************************
BoneBreaker
Objects: None
Items: Various, including a grenade
***********************************

Bonebreaker is a tough boss, I'd tell you. He's half human/half tank,
which I like to call it a Tanktaur(or something like that). Anyway,
the good news is that most of the time you are able to use your gun
against him. The bad news is that he takes very puny damage for each
shot, but rapid fire will take care of that. The key thing to beat
this tanktaur is to hit it in the back where he is most vulnerable.
Once you get use to it, you can fight him with ease. For example, if
you DO get a Bisen Osafune, use that and hit him in the back repeatedly
and it should take off a HUGE chunk of his life bar as long as you
hit every point of him. Killing him rewards you with a nice bonus and
allows you to move on to the next round..

***********************************************
ALERT! BONUS ROUND.. TIME TO SHOOT THE BARRELS!
***********************************************

In a one-player game, you will have 20 barrels to shoot before the bonus
round ends. Each barrel will give you 2000pts as you shoot them. Shoot
them all successfully will reward you with a 200,000pt bonus, plus an
additional 2,000pt per barrel. Fail to shoot them all will only give you
the 2,000pt/barrel bonus.

In a two-player game, both of you will have 30 barrels to shoot before
the bonus round ends. Each barrel shot will give that player 2,000pts.

Here is the score system for the two-player game:

Key
---
W: Wins(More barrels shot than the other player)
L: Lose(Less barrels shot than the other player)

If all barrels are shot:

P-1/P-2(Barrels Shot) Points
--------------------- ------
15/15 100,000pts/player + Bonus/P-1+2
W/L 200,000pts/P-1 + Bonus/P-1+2
L/W 200,000pts/P-2 + Bonus/P-1+2

I believe if both players do NOT shoot all the barrels down, they will
only get the 2,000pt/barrel Bonus only.

***************
END BONUS ROUND
***************

===================================================
2-4. ROUND 4: DEATH ON RAILS/NEXT STOP, DESTRUCTION
===================================================

***************
Starting Point
Objects: Crates
Items: Various
***************

As soon as you start the round, move forward, hitting the crates as you
go. Several Jacks will appear and try to shoot you. You can use your gun
here, so blast them away and grab every item that the crates produce.
Now it's time to go on the train and beat down some more enemies!

*********************
On the Train
Objects: Various
Items: Various/Random
*********************

The second you get on the train, a few punks and a Leon will come out
of a door. Kill them and move forward to where the generators and fans
are. Smash all of them and more enemies will jump down including ninja
women and Red Lamp. Stay on a corner and don't move elsewhere and keep
attacking. Grab every item you find and use their weapons against them
to knock them out. Once all of them are dead, which should be around
two sets, you are ready to go to the roof of the train.

*********************
Roof of Train
Objects: Various
Items: Various/Random
*********************

The second you get on the roof, a couple of punks will come out and
try to beat you up. Kill them and smash the metal compartment to
reveal a weapon. Keep going right and more punks will come out. Kill
most of them will trigger two Bakosus. Watch out, as these guys are
different from Leon. These knife-weilding punks can roll up to you
and slash you. Once all of them are dead, keep going right and a Red
Lamp will come out with a Bizen Osafune from the left. BatBoy and
Leon will come from the right. Stay on one side, just to be safe and
make sure you get Red Lamp to drop his weapon. Keep going right after
you knock them out and don't stop until you reach the other end of
the roof. Yan Lee and Saxon, plus some punks will come out and try to
gang up on you. Stay on one side as usual, namely the right side. The
second they are all knocked out, you will jump down to the next part.
Over here, there is a Gus on the left, and Leons coming from a door
on the right. Stay on one side. One of the barrels here will give you
a Giant Meat. SAVE IT if you have near to full health and take it if
you have near to low health. Once those guys are knocked out, it's
time to face Bushwhacker.

***********************
Bushwhacker
Objects: Windows/Random
Items: Random
***********************

Bushwhacker is a tough muthamissileman. He is armed with a Missile
Launcher and a tough fist. Also, he is protected by backup which
consists of weapon guys and ninjas. If you don't care about your
score and just want to take out this guy, use ALL of your bombs.
Other than that, use the weapons you see against him. One hit from
a weapon may look as if you're doing puny damage to him, but hitting
him with everything makes a difference. Keep repeating this pattern
until he is finally dead. You will be awarded 480,000pts for busting
this guy to hell!

===================================================
2-5. ROUND 5-KINGPIN'S WRATH/THE WRATH AND THE FURY
===================================================

*************
Computer Room
Objects: None
Items: None
*************

From here you will only have a few Jacks to take care of, and all of
them go down in one shot, so it should be pretty easy work.

***********************
Sewers
Objects: Barrels, Tires
Items: Various weapons
***********************

The minute you come out of the drain pipe, keep going right until you
can't go anymore. Lots of enemies including a Saxon will come out and
try to ambush you. Keep them on one side or go to the top right and
face right. Keep pressing the attack button as much as possible. Saxon
wont be able to hit you no matter how hard he tries. Once all of them
are dead, head to the right while staying on the top side and soon a
Yan Lee will come flying out of nowhere from the right. Also, the door
will open and some punks and a WOW-CAT will be here with his trusty
Flamethrower. Be careful, as there are a LOT of enemies in this area.
Don't hesistate to use a bomb to give you a nice head start, so you
can pick them off one by one later. There are enough weapons in the
crates and barrels to let you use it against them.

*********************************
Bottom Level
Objects: Barrels, Computer System
Items: Various pick-ups
*********************************

The second you jump down, Gus and Red will come from the right and
try to body smash you. You'll know when they'll do it, as they say
something like "Go up!" before executing the move. If you can manage
to get them to the left wall and keep them there, you can trap the
both of them. They have no means of escaping no matter how hard they
try. Once both are wiped out, hit the barrels to collect some items
and head to the right until you can't go anymore. Pretty robots will
drop down and start to gang up on you. Use a bomb if you have to, as
these are machines overall. If you manage to blow them off completely
they will drop various health regeneration items. Make sure you hit
all the barrels and collect various items and use the rest against
the metal muthas into junk.

*********************************
Forest
Objects: Rolling Barrels, Barrels
Items: Various pick-ups
*********************************

Once you come out and into the forest, keep going right until you
can't go anymore. Punks, BatBoys and a Leon will come out. Keep
them on one side of the screen and pick them off one by one. Once
all of them are dead, WATCH OUT!! Barrels from the east will start
rolling towards you. Hit them to collect various items and health
refreshments. Now head right and keep going until you can't go
anymore. A couple karate men, Leons, and some punks will come out
from all sides. Yan Lee will be showing off with his num-chucks, so
kill him if you despise that. It's always good to use the lower
level enemies to throw them at higher level ones. The karate men
usually loves to do safe fall sometimes. Once all of them are dead,
keep going right.. and barrels will start to come out from the
right again, so hit them to collect various items. Now keep going
right and Jacks and Jaggers will come out with their handy pistols
and make a fool out of themselves. Shoot them to death, including
the Automatic Rifle guy that shows along with them. Now keep going
right, and barrels will come from BOTH ends, so either do a escape
move or be FAST at hitting all of them to collect more various
items. Keep going... and then 3 female ninjas will spawn, along
with 3 barrels on the right side. Once of them contains a Giant
Meat. DO NOT HIT IT IF YOU HAVE FULL HEALTH!! In fact, grab the
barrel once you defeat the three girls, so you can have some health
regeneration when you face against Guardroid!

**********************
Guardroid II
Objects: Glass Windows
Items: Pick-ups
**********************

Lovely, a pink/reddish version of the big robot we saw since Round 2.
Ooo, now two henchmen will be backing it up. Shoot it with your gun
as much as you can. Avoid Guardroids attacks as well as the henchmen.
If you kill the henchmen, you're going to have to fight the robot
with your bare fists. If you manage to save some bombs, use it all
against it. Once you knock out enough energy from it, a Pretty Boy
will show up. Yay, you can use your gun again!! Keep shooting it, as
well as avoiding its attacks plus the Pretty Boy's. If you are in
serious need of health, bust down the Pretty Boy so it can give you
at least something to recover. Guardroid II is not that hard, as
long as you manage to avoid its attacks easily. It is basically a
faster and more powerful version of its first counterpart.

===========================================
2-6. ROUND 6-FINAL PUNISHMENT/FINAL VERDICT
===========================================

**************
Starting Point
Objects: Walls
Items: None
**************

The minute you bust through the window, keep going right and a couple
of pistol guys will show up. Kill them, and henchmen will start showing
up from the left. Kill them ALL and take the Uzi from the Luis Allegre
that dropped it. Now keep going right, kicking down every wall. But
don't go too far yet, as some pistol guys and Buddies will show up
giving you various items such as pistols and grenades. Now you can go
right and keep going to the main hallway.

******************************************
Main Hallway
Objects: Knight Armor, Columns, and Crates
Items: Various pick-ups
******************************************

You can bust down the columns on the south for some easy score, but
keep heading right and go until you can't go anymore. Punks will
start to show on the way, as well as some MORE coming out from the
doors! The more you kill, the more they come back. When you reach
the part where Yan Lee comes flying out from the left, you're
halfway there. A WOW-CAT will eventually appear and try to burn
you down. Using a bomb here wouldn't hurt. Remember to bust down
the columns in the south as some of them will produce valuable
items. Now keep heading right until you can't go anymore, hitting
any barrels or knight statues along the way. Female Ninjas as well
as TrenchCoat guys and Pretty robots will appear. A bomb wouldn't
hurt here. There is some food up there(just hit the plant) if you
are in some serious trouble. The good part is that you can use
your guns here to take out the trenchcoat guys quick. The bad news
is that the female ninjas might teleport near you(especially Misa)
and try to piledrive you. Just be careful this part. Save some
energy, as the next part will be the toughest of all.

Once all of them are dead, head right and meet the last part of
the main hallway. Scully will be waiting for you here. The last
column in the south will produce a grenade. Pick it up. Smashing
the object in the north will give refreshments. Now, in this part,
you will face ALOT of enemies. There are two primary threats, one
of them being Scully and the other being the squad of Bakosus. It
wouldn't hurt to use a grenade against these enemies, as that
will give you a nice head start. Create some angles and make sure
to watch out for the close-up kick of Scully's, as that will take
70% of a full lifebar away!

***************
Elevator
Objects: Glass
Items: Dynamite
***************

The elevator will start going up. You can hit the glass on the right
for some extra score, but focus on the enemies that drop down more.
Dynamites will eventually drop down and you can use those to blow up
the enemies for some decent damage. Don't hold them for too long or
else you'll blow yourself up. Keep repeating this process and you
should do fine.

***************
Boiling Room
Objects: Heater
Items: Flamer
***************

Ok, the elevator part was easy. Now head left, and a small squad of
punks will come out trying to do combos. They are easy work, but then
you'll have to watch out for the WOW-CAT that appears from the right
with his trusty Flame Thrower.

***********************
Pipe Room
Objects: Pipes, Crates
Items: Various pick-ups
***********************

You can smash the pipes on the south for some easy points. Keep heading
left and bust down the barrels for some refreshments and weapons. Karate
men will come down as well as Pretty robots. Hit-and-run squads will
also appear on the right, as well as a WOW-CAT with his flamer. It
wouldn't hurt to use a bomb here. But keep shooting while avoiding as
many attacks as possible. Once you manage to kill ALL of them, you can
refresh some of your health from the food that the Pretty robots dropped
for you. Now keep heading left until you run across some Bakosus. Three
Bakosus can be a real threat if you don't know what you're doing. Not
only that, but some automatic rifle guys will also come out. The good
news is that you can use your gun against them, and the bad news is that
they might crowd up on you. A Red Lamp might show up here as well. Once
you kill all of them, keep heading left, and bust down the crates for
some health regeneration. This is the last part of this area, and some
female ninjas as well as a Red will show up here. Stay on one side,
preferably the right side, as some Buddy guys will show up eventually
giving you some grenades you can use for Kingpin. Or you can use a bomb
on this group of enemies for a easy head start. Once you manage to kill
all of them, it's time to face head-to-head with Kingpin!

****************
Kingpin
Objects: Benches
Items: Pick-ups
****************

Look at this fat white tuxedo giant! God, why does he take up HALF the
screen!? Anyway, hit the benches to get some weapons you can use against
him. He looks strong, but he is nonetheless weak. His primary weakness
is that he is slow and is vulnerable when he is knocked down. If you
really want a head start against him, use ALL of your bombs on him,
which can take a pretty huge amount. Remember that the guy has two FULL
energy bars, but he's weak. Create some angles and use his henchmen
against him. Sometimes henchmen with guns will start to show up. You
can keep the gun-henchmen on one side and Kingpin on the other. You
stay in the middle and shoot the side that Kingpin is on. Also, it
wouldn't hurt to throw some of the henchmen at Kingpin. It doesn't
matter if it does puny damage, as every little piece counts and can drain
his energy pretty fast. You wouldn't even know it! Once you manage to
defeat Kingpin, you have beaten the game! CONGRATULATIONS!

3-2. Weapons List
-----------------

In this part, I will list every single weapon available in the game.

1. Knife(6): Can be used close range or long range. When used long range, the
player throws the weapon rather than do multiple slashes(close range ability).
Knife only has 6 slashes available before running out.

2. Pipe(10): Can whack a normal enemy 4 times before they get knocked down.
It's good for defensive rather than offensive, but either way works fine
really. Pipes have 10 whacks before running out.

3. Bat(6): Wooden weapon that ironically hurts more than one pipe whack. Has
6 whacks available before running out.

4. Bizen Osafune(8/10): A strong blade that knocks down a enemy instantly
after one slash. Very strong in power and a good offensive weapon. Has 8
slashes to use before running out.

5. Lance(5): A sharp pointy white weapon that are originally held by armored
knights. Great for hitting a line of enemies that are in the same horizontal
line. Once thrown, it travels far enough that you have to roll all the way
down to retreive it again. Has 5 throws before running out.

6. Battle Axe(8/10): Some axes come in 8 slashes, some come in 10. Either way,
this weapon does a lot of damage but slow while attacking, which at most cases
would leave you vulnerable behind. So watch out.

7. Hammer(8): This weapon does a little less damage than the battle axe, but
it still packs a heavy punch with its power. With 8 whacks before it runs out
you can take off a huge chunk of damage or at most kill a person with all the
uses. Great against high level enemies such as Yan Lee, Saxon, Hawke, and
Scully.

8. M-16 Machine gun(20): Gaullee enemies can drop this weapon and give you
20 rounds of it. Same for picking it up from hitting a box that actually
contains it.

9. Ingram(20): Works wonders just like the M-16 rifle. Great for shooting at
a line of fire at enemies. Gives you 20 rounds to pump before it runs dry.

10. Flame Unit(8): A flame unit that does decent damage. Good against machines
to slow them down, especially Pretty robots.

11. Extinguisher(20): Crappy weapon, and I'm not sure of what this is for?

12. Pretty Head(1): Pretty robots will usually drop their heads and let you
use them to throw at enemies. Watch out, as holding its head for too long
will make the head explode, affecting you.

13. Grenade(9): This is the counter for your grenades. Use them wisely, as
they are limited. Great for taking out/knocking down groups of enemies.

14. Dynamite(1): Same as Pretty heads, if you hold them for too long, the
explosion will affect you. Great for throwing at groups of enemies.

15. Metal Board(4): Rare board. Does crappy damage and slow as hell.

16. Boomerang(8): Long range weapon that comes back to you as long as
you're in the line of view that you threw the weapon from.

17. Stone(1): This piece does a lot of damage. Rarely found until the
last round.

18. Pretty Leg(1): Destroy enough of the Pretty robots and you can pick up
it's leg and starting hitting enemies with it! Hit enough and a piece of
food will come out.

19. Throwing Stars(3): This does puny damage, but it's good to slow people
down from attack you with the long distance attacks. You have three throws
before it runs out.

20. Shurikens(3): These are bigger versions of the Throwing Stars, only now
they do thrice the damage and is good against higher level enemies such as
Gus/Red/Yan Lee, etc.. You can only use it three times per Shuriken you pick
up.

21. Cement Bag(4): Useless and slow. Only found in Round 4(from what I've
seen), and should be only used against low-level enemies(such as the punks
and female ninjas)

3-3. Item List
--------------

There are numerous items placed throughout the game to aid you in your
fight. Some items restore partial health, and some simply increase your
score. The items are stored in some form of container.

3-4. Enemies List and Profile
-----------------------------

1. Leon/Bakosu
--------------
Weapon: Knife
Difference?: Bakosu can roll and Leon cannot.
Abilities: Slash, Throw Knife, and Roll Slash(Bakosu only)
Color: Leon(Black Shorts), Bakosu(Blue Shorts)

Bakosu will only show up during the 4th and 6th rounds. They have blue jean
shorts and can roll. Leon cannot roll and wears black jean shorts.

Abilities:
----------
A. Slash - They can only slash you normally at close range with this ability.

B. Throw Knife - Sometimes they will go cheap and try to throw the knife at
you, but you can hit when while it's travelling in mid-air to knock the
knife on the ground.

C. Roll Slash(Bakosu only) - They will roll up and slash you. They are VERY
fast at doing it, so watch their movements.

2. Yan Lee/Saxon/Hawke
----------------------
Weapon: Martial Arts(Karate)
Difference?: Yan Lee is stronger and faster than Saxon/Hawke
Abilities: Flying Kick, Punch, Air Round Kick
Color: Yan Lee(red), Saxon(Green), Hawke(Blue)

All of these people are martial artists. There are some Yan Lee's that play
around with num-chucks, and sometimes they will use it against you. Yan Lee
is supposedly the stronger and faster of the three karate boys.

Abilities:
----------
A. Flying Kick - Usually, the first time they do this move is by flying out
from either side of the screen. Then they can still do it normally during
a battle. Watch their movements..

B. Punch - They CAN combo up to three punches for a decent amount of damage
onto you, so don't let them get to you...

C. Air Round Kick - Can only be done close range and takes off about 20% of
your life bar. You can roll away to avoid this.

3. Gus/Red/Scully
-----------------
Weapons: Punches and Kicks
Difference?: Scully is much stronger than both Gus and Red.
Abilities: Flying Kick, Ground Kick, Ground Smack, Shoulder Charge
Color: Gus(Green), Red(red), Scully(gray)

The "other" Scully will only show on the 7th round at the end of the Main
Hallway. His Jump kick hurts double damage sometimes which takes off a
pretty big chunk of your life bar. Gus and Red have no difference to each
other except for color.

Abilities:
----------
A. Flying Kick - Different from Yan Lee and the other karate men. Instead,
he will launch a kick straight onto you, and sometimes it's homing for
some reason. You'll know if they come at you with this.

B. Ground Kick - Takes off at least 25% of your health when they get you
with this move. Gus and Red are not a big threat, but Scully is! His can
do twice the damage!

C. Ground Smack - They will smack you for a quarter of your life bar.

D. Shoulder Charge - Only Gus and Red have this ability. You'll know
when they do this move as they say, "Go up!!!" first before doing so.

4. Gaullee/Jig Saw
------------------
Weapons: M-16 rifle
Difference?: None
Abilities: Shoot with gun, Whack, and Kick
Color: Gaullee(Red), Jig Saw(green)

Gaullee only shows up on the 3rd round in a one-player game. Jig Saw only
shows up on the last round on a 1-player game. Both carry M-16 rifles, but
cannot fire the mounted grenade launcher(It's unusable anyway).

Abilities:
----------
A. Shoot with gun - They have M-16 Rifles and will not hesistate to use
them. They will shoot small controlled bursts at you.

B. Whack - Sometimes they will go up to you and whack you for a decent
amount of damage.

C. Kick - Hurts almost the same damage as the Whack, and it's also close
range, so don't stay around in one place too often.

5. Cool/Trench
--------------
Weapons: Automatic Rifles
Difference?: None
Abilities: Shoot with gun, Kick
Color: Cool(Yellow), Trench(Red)

Both Cool and Trench carry automatic rifles. Also, they are very fast at
shooting, so watch where their line of fire goes.

Abilities:
----------
A. Shoot with gun - They have M-16 Rifles and will not hesistate to use
them. They will shoot small controlled bursts at you.

B. Kick - They kick you for a decent amount of damage, and it's also close
range, so don't stay around in one place too often.

6. Red Lamp/WOW-Cat
--------------------
Weapons: Red Lamp(anything he gets his hands on), Wild Cat(Flamer)
Difference: The use of weapons
Abilities: Whack, and using weapon.
Color: Red Lamp(Pink), Wow-Cat(Red)

Red Lamp is a pink-clothed punk who likes to use anything for a weapon. He
will pick up anything, even an item!(He can't use it though.) Wow-Cat on
the other hand will only carry his flamer and nothing else. Apparently, his
flamer does a lot of damage, so avoid it at all costs.

7. B. Hannigan/Luis Allegre/Kolsky/Skinner/Bogart
-------------------------------------------------
Weapons: Guns
Difference: The use of weapons
Color: Luis Allegre(Purple), B. Hannigan(Light Red), Kolsky(Blue),
Skinner(Green), Bogart(Grey)

That's right, they all wear tuxedos. (No, they cannot fly across the screen
and do weird things like Jackie Chan.=P). They are dumber than that, but
mostly come in packs. So you figure out who is dumb, dumber, and the dumbest.
These guys carry pistols, and sometimes they will carry automatic rifles.

8. Dylan/Chrys/Max/Dean/Shone
-----------------------------
Weapons: Themselves
Difference: Some carry weapons, some don't
Abilities:
Color: Max(Blue Trunks), Dean(pink trunks), Dylan/Shone(BatBoy),
Chrys(???)

These punks have low level life bars, which most of the time one bomb will
take them out. Some carry weapons, and some don't. Be careful, as they
mostly come in packs, so keeping them on one side is the best way to make
sure your worthless butt stays alive.

9. Jack/Jagger
--------------
Weapons: Pistol
Difference: None
Abilities: Shoot with pistol, Kick
Color: Jack(red), Jagger(blue)

These guys only use pistols and nothing else. They are both the same according
to abilities and the only thing that makes them different is their color. Be
careful sometimes, as once they shoot you, they wont hesitate to use a second
shot at you.

Abilities:
----------
A. Shoot with gun - They have small pistols and will not hesistate to use
them. They will shoot small controlled bursts at you.

B. Kick - They kick you for a decent amount of damage, and it's also close
range, so don't stay around in one place too often.

10. Mizuki/Midori/Misa/Luna
----------------------------
Weapons: Bizen Osafune
Difference: Color and Gems that produced when killed
Abilities: Grab and Throw, Blade Slice, Blade Projectile, Teleport
Color: Mizuki(Aqua, Blue), Midori(Emerald, Green), Luna(Red, Ruby),
Misa(Black, Dark Sapphire)

Notice a pattern? Same enemies with same color and no different abilities.
Here's another case. Misa can do a bit more damage than the other girls. But
nonetheless they are the same. Once you kill them, they will give you a gold
gem. The color of the girl will correspond to the color of the gem.

Abilities:
----------
A. Grab and Throw - They usually do this right after they teleport near you,
so watch out for any female ninja that shows up near you..

B. Blade Slice - Uncommon, but sometimes you can see a glimpse of it.

C. Blade Projectile - Sometimes they will use their blade to create a
crescent projectile. This ability CAN hurt other enemies, so if you can
lure the other enemies into this, they will take the damage instead of
you.

D. Teleport - They will teleport from place to place, so watch their
movements.

11. Guardroid/Guardroid II
--------------------------
Weapons: Itself
Difference: Version II is much faster and durable
Abilities: Jump and Stomp, Laser, Rush Charge, Running Charge
Color: Version I is Grey and Version II is red

Guardroid II is basically a faster and more durable version of it's first
counterpart. It's lasers are faster, and so is its movements. Also, Guardroid
II will have two Tuxedo guys to back him up with automatic rifles. So be
careful where you go.

Abilities:
----------
A. Jump and Stomp - Self-explanatory, it will jump up and try to stomp you.

B. Laser - Can fire two directions, left and right, so staying out of the
laser's sight will do you no harm at all. Guardroid II has a much faster
laser than its first counterpart.

C. Rush Charge - Just a straight rush at you, which is VERY fast, but the
ability is telegraphed.

D. Running Charge - Slower than Rush Charge, but can hurt you a decent
amount of damage if it manages to get you.

12. Bonebreaker
---------------
Weapons: Itself
Abilities: Shoot missiles, Flame Thrower, Grab and Punch, Run Over
Color: Tanker Blue

Half Freak, Half Tank. Most of the time you can use your gun against it.
It's back is its weak point where he can't harm you. Sometimes he will try
to run you over, which takes 40% of your life bar away, so jump or hit him
quickly to avoid that.

Abilities:
----------
A. Shoot Missiles - He will shoot a bunch of missiles upward and come down
straight at you, so roll out of the way the moment you see him do it.

B. Flame Thrower - He will try to burn you with his cheap flamer he has
mounted on his tank.

C. Grab and Punch - Sometimes he will grab you and lift you ready for a
punch.

D. Run Over - He's going to use his fat-ass tank to try and run you over
for a whopping 40% damage!

13. Bushwhacker
---------------
Weapons: Missile Launcher
Abilities: Shoot missiles, Quadruple Whack, Grab and Punch
Color: Blue

The good thing about this guy is that he is slow. The bad thing is that to
make up for his sloppiness, he needs a team to back him up. It would NEVER
hurt if you use all of your bombs against him. It would help to clear up
some room and give you a chance to attack.

Abilities:
----------
A. Shoot missiles - He has a mounted missile launcher on his arm. He will
shoot straightforward a bunch of missiles at you.

B. Quadruple Whack - Close range attack, and is pretty much avoided by
hitting him faster.

C. Grab and Punch - When he grabs you, shake the joystick left and right to
make him let go of you. Fail to do that, and he will give you a nice punch
like something you've already felt before.

14. Kingpin
-----------
Weapons: Cane
Abilities: Cane Blue Laser, Fat-ass stomp, Rush and Whack, Whack, Grab and
Throw, Blocking
Color: White suit

Fat-ass boy. He is so fat that he takes up half the screen. You can STILL pick
him up and throw him around everytime you see a opportunity to do so. Or you
can pick up his slaves and throw it against him. The scary part is that he has
two FULL life bars, and it takes nearly 18 bombs to wipe him out. You don't have
that many, so use all of your bombs against him unless you plan on saving them
for score.

Abilities:
----------
A. Cane Blue Laser - Yes, his can has the ability to burn you with it's
integrated laser. You'll know when he does it.

B. Fat-ass stomp - He will jump higher than a normal fat guy and try to
sit on you with his worthless butt.

C. Rush and Whack - Sometimes, he will rush up to you and give you a
unwelcome whack.

D. Whack - The normal whack without rushing.

E. Grab and Throw - He will grab you, lifting you ceiling-high, and throw
you. It's hard to make him let go of you, and this move usually does 40%
to your energy bar.

F. Blocking - Don't you hate when people block? Well, he can't block bombs
for a obvious reason. But he can block your attacks if you try to hit him
close too many times.

-------------------->SECTION 4. MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION<---------------------
*******************************************************************************

***************
4-1. Cool Stuff
***************

1. How Dumb Can Enemies Get?
----------------------------

Sometimes when you drop a bomb, enemies usually doesn't look for the radius
of the explosion and walks right into it. Gosh, are they dumb?!

2. Red Lamp is a Greedy Punk
----------------------------

Red Lamp usually take weapons and use it against you, even pistols! However,
sometimes they take rings and when you kill them, they will drop them.

3. Round 6 Glitch
-----------------

At the beginning of the round, after you take care of the Tuxedo guys and
past the columns you can break, there will be a bunch of low level punks.
One of them has a knife, but you don't really get it until you kill him. My
guess it this is a programming glitch, as that punk might have been Bakosu
in the first place.

4. Reviving your Partner after a Round
--------------------------------------

This only works at a two-player game. Basically, if one of you die and the
boss has a little life left, you can kill the boss to prevent the death of
your partner. You have to be fast, as the dying animation must still be in
motion for it to work.

5. Double Team with Quadruple Damage on Guardroid
-------------------------------------------------

Only at a two-player game and must be fighting Guardroid. Both of you do
the flash kick with one person on one end and the other person on the other
end. If done correctly, Guardroid will lose a lot of health and will be
knocked down. When it gets up, repeat the strategy for a quick victory and
much easy score(only because you don't have to use your bombs). This also
works on Guardroid II as well.

6. Cheesy Tactic against Kingpin
--------------------------------

Kingpin is one fat guy. However, get him in the corner(might take a little
effort) and keep using your Escape Move on him as close as possible. He'll
take a lot of damage, and when you have no health left, use up your bombs
(Super Bomb style) for the extra damage. Yes, this will require you to
sacrifice all of your energy, but you will never believe how much you took
off of Kingpin. And the reason I told you to use all of your bombs is
because when you die, the bomb counter will always reset to 4.

7. Remember Your Pistol Has Infinite Ammo
-----------------------------------------

It's fair in a way. If enemies with guns have infinite ammo, why not give
you that ability? Remember, that each pistol you pick up gives you 800
points(which, in fact, is also 800 Rounds =P). Most enemies only need five
to six shots to take them out at most.

------
Ending
------

As the Kingpin faced his final defeat at the Punishers' hands, the
King building, it's support structure badly damaged, collapsed, it's
dying echo reverberating through the city liked the anguished roar
of an exorcised demon.

With his defeat and the King building's collapse, the Kingpins empire
of sin began to disintegrate. Without his powerful guiding hand it
soon tore itself apart.

But for the Punisher, while the battle has been won, the war goes on.
For him there is no rest from the war until there is no evel left on
the Earth to fight.

An impossible task? Perhaps. Is it his fate to fight an neverending
war? A war he can never really win? It doesn't matter. For he is a man
who has accepted his fate. A man unable to escape his cruel destiny.

That night, the Punisher vanished into the dark. Melting back into the
shadows to stalk his prey. And the predators of New York shudder.
Knowing that now they are being hunted.
______________________________________________________________________

The next morning, the police searched through the rubble of the King
Building. They found over xxx ex-criminals. But they could not find
any body that could be identified as the Kingpin.

Vengeance burns eternal.
