I. Introduction
----------------------------------------
- Hi, reader. I'm linthuslyth and this would be a "Walkthrough" of Police 911 2
- For any suggestions or comments, e-mail me at [email protected]
- You cannot post this FAQ without my permission. You can e-mail me for my
permission so that you won't get thrown in jail. This FAQ is originally posted in
GameFAQ.

----------------------------------------
I. Basic Stuff
----------------------------------------
- Here I'll show how to play. Right, that sounded weird...
- Anyway, first person shooter isn't really a hard game to play. Shoot everyone
that have the red ring on them. Note that you will only see the ring, take note
obstacle in the way. Plus bystanders; notice them!! Nor any of your co-officers. DO
NOT SHOOT THEM FOR FUN!!! YOU'RE A POLICE!!! Plus you lose time and go down one
rank if you do. The bonuses do not return if you do this.
- There will be arrows in every area. That is where you will duck/dodge/go to if
you run out of bullets or want to hide. Simple enough?
- You will gain 2 seconds for clearing an area, sometimes you'll get more, I think.
- Every time you clear an area you will raise your rank by 1/3. There will be
bonuses in some ranks.
- There will be targets that have orange rings. One in every stage except the intro
and your first stage. If you shoot 3 of these your final stage will change. Getting
three will make all other targets disappear.
- You can shoot grenades in mid air
- This FAQ will only help you get an idea of the stages. It's a really hands on
game.
- Keep in mind that just because you in an area that you can reload doesn't mean
you can't get hit, also you can hit enemies in these areas.
- Any part of the body of the criminals can be hit: head, foot, torso, etc.
- Boss will begin with their smallest opening then it gets wider and wider until it
eventually runs in a cycle.

----------------------------------------
III. Walkthrough
----------------------------------------
Finally... you choose from 6 different areas. Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka, Hakata,
Shinjuku, and Nobe. Osaka and Shinjuku have two criminals, well Osaka 2 has a gang.
These are paired:

Sapporo<->Nagoya --> Osaka<->Hakata --> Shinjuku<->Nobe --> Sapporo<->Nagoya

After your first stage you will go to its pair and then follow the sequence above.
After you've gone through all the stages you will proceed to the final stage.
(Note: Hmmm...I've noticed that this isn't always followed...I'm not sure if this is
right)

***********
Intro stage
***********
Stage: Easy (What'd you expect?)
Bystanders: None
Boss: Easy but can be lucky
Orange Ringed Target: None

No matter you choice you will still go through this stage first. A short stage that
has no bystanders. In the second area, if you let the middle guy throw the grenade
and you didn't shoot it, the sofa will move. Your path will change.

=========
Boss Info
=========
The boss will have three guys with him. One has an automatic. Shoot that guy first,
but they're pretty inaccurate. The boss has some luck in him.... Don't be careless.
He'll either shoot on top of his desk or on your left side of the desk. You can
shoot the vase to remove it as an obstacle; the same does not go with the clock.

*************
Sapporo, Park
*************
Stage: Normal
Bystanders: Medium
Boss: Fairly Hard
Orange Ringed Target: You'll be at the side of a monument. I remember a white car.
It will be in the background. You can shoot it when it's in between the two cars.

This is a fairly easy stage. There are a number of bystanders so be careful not to
shoot them. Other than that it's a walk in the park with guys with guns and a
lunatic in a bulldozer.

=========
Boss Info
=========
Some guy in a bulldozer. Well, duck and try to find a clear shoot at him. When I
mean duck, I mean REALLY DUCK. If you don't then you'll get run over. As you
progress he'll have pauses during his runs.

**********************
Nagoya, Station Square
**********************
Stage: Fairly Easy
Bystanders: Medium
Boss: Very Hard
Orange Ringed Target: You should be in front of the side of the stairs. You know
the one you hold on to. Anyway if you don't get what I'm talking about then play
the game. It should appear at the lower left of the area. It's fast and if you
don't shoot it, it will delay you clearing of the area.

I find this stage a bit easier than Sapporo. Anyway, nothing to say much here,
there are guys on top of some entrance if that helps. Bystanders sometimes block so
be careful.

=========
Boss Info
=========
Someone in a plane. I hate this boss. It's hard to say where to aim, maybe the
windshield. I think he's in the middle. But it seems that you have to hit the
engine... I'm not sure.

*************
Osaka, Bridge
*************
Stage: Fairly Easy
Bystanders: Fairly High
Boss: Fairly Easy
Orange Ringed Target: You should see three targets lined up that are walking
towards you. It'll run across the area. Fortunately you have more time to shoot it
and it will run from left to right and the right side is open.

This is easier than the two earlier stages. Well only a little, a tiny bit easier
than Nagoya. Well at least the boss is easier to handle. There will be bystanders
when you're in the bridge. I don't remember any when you're at the edges of the
bridge.

=========
Boss Info
=========
Someone with an automatic hanging onto a helicopter. You can shoot it when it's
just rising from under the bridge if this isn't your first stage. Aim for him and
this should be a short boss. Duck because he will hit you with the "feet" of the
helicopter but I've never been hit by his gun.

****************
Osaka, Down Town
****************
Stage: Easy
Bystanders: High
Boss: Hard
Orange Ringed Target: You'll be behind some sign. I think it the second area of
this stage. As soon as you hit one of the two starting targets it will come out
along with several other targets, in the background.

This is easier than the first Osaka. Just kill everyone ASAP. Aim fast, and if you
don't then you might get shot down. Take out everyone close and with an automatic
gun.

========
Boss Info
========
Well there is about 11 targets. I suggest you take out the two on top of the truck,
the two in front of you, and the two hiding behind the two cars to your left and
right first. Then go for the one with the automatic. You should have a much easier
time now. There is a high chance you'll get shot.
Note: There is a cheap way to kill the ones in front. The door of the car has a
small gap underneath it. Shoot the legs (yes, they will get knocked out) of the
people you can. It takes out most of the treat but it's too cowardly.

************
Hakata, Bridge
************
Stage: Fairly Easy
Bystanders: Fairly High and irritating
Boss: Easy but deceiving
Orange Ringed Target: You'll under the bridge facing the bridge. When two targets
are below the bridge and two target on the bridge. It will dash ON the bridge. A
bit confusing? Read it over and over.

This is an easy stage where you'll see bystanders trying to irritate you. They'll
usually block the enemies. Why are they helping the bad guys? Be careful and fast.

========
Boss Info
========
The hostage taker. Well you can shoot him before he takes a hostage. He should run
through the bridge with three (two if this is you first stage) guys with automatics.
Try to shoot him there but don't hang around too long or those psychos with
automatic WILL hit you. If you didn't hit him there then you'll have to go up the
bridge and deal with him there. DO NOT SHOOT HIM ON THE AREA DIRECTLY AFTER THAT
AREA BECAUSE HE'S BEHIND A HOSTAGE. Shooting his hostage will have replacements.
Wait for him to shoot so he'll reveal himself.

********************
Shinjuku, Station Square
********************
Stage: Fairly Easy
Bystanders: High
Boss: Easy
Orange Ringed Target: It's hard to describe the place. Behind a car facing some
square or something like that. I think it will be the third time you'll face
enemies in the square. There will be bystanders the will block it on the background.

Hmmm...nothing much to say here. Most of the targets aren't too hard to aim on.
Nothing special here.

========
Boss Info
========
The second boss in a construction vehicle. Wait, is a bulldozer used for
construction? Anyway, this is easy if you know where to aim. First break the glass
of the car so you'll have an easier time. Shoot him at his legs, several bullets
are needed to break the glass. If you the guy arrives comes before you can beat
this guy, then I suggest you kill him because he too close for comfort. He's killed
me a couple of times.

******************
Shinjuku, Down Town
******************
Stage: Easy
Bystanders: None
Boss: Easy
Orange Ringed Target: I think you're on top of a cars hood. There should be a
street to your right. That's where it will dash from. It's fast and at the lower
part of the screen.

There are no bystanders, but there are co-officer that you might shoot to get the
same penalty. This is an easy stage as long as you know where to fire or at fast at
aiming. But several areas are complied together so when you finish 3 areas is the
only time you'll get your rank up.

========
Boss Info
========
Wow, the first boss that doesn't have a gun. No he doesn't have a metal bar to
smack you with, that be too easy. He just dodges. But he's pretty dawn good at it.
But you can beat this guy in less than 2 seconds. He'll roll to your right. So
crouch to the lower right of the screen and shoot at the lower right of the screen.
If you get it right then it's all over. If not then: He'll dash from the right side
to hide behind the car; then he'll jump off the car (shoot on the left side of the
screen); then into an ally (a long run), then out, then...I don't know any more... I
kill him here at the latest.

****************
Nobe, China Town
****************
Stage: Fairly Hard
Bystanders: High
Boss: Fairly Hard
Orange Ringed Target: When there are three grenade throwers on top of a building.
The gap in the mid-left of the screen is where it'll appear. A short time and it's
a little far so aim and think fast as the other targets will come to block it.

Almost every area has a bystander. This must be one of the hardest stages in
general. Aim and think fast, that's all the advice I can give you.

========
Boss Info
========
Some woman in a long green skirt. You can shoot her before she goes ballistic with
her automatic; when she jumps down. I've seen people do it but I have yet to do it.
Course you have to aim quickly because she can jump either left or right. If you
don't get her there then HIDE. She's pretty accurate for someone who's using an
automatic or maybe just luck. She will hit you if you hang around too long. She
attacks only when she dashes from one hiding place to another. Try to avoid shoot
those two in the hut (or there will be none if this is your first) There will
constantly be guys coming from left and right.

************************
Final Stage 1: Station Square
************************
Stage: Hard
Bystanders: High
Boss: Fairly Hard

Is you didn't get three orange ringed targets then you get this stage. It's a hard
stage and a bit long but do your best. There are a lot of bystanders that will
block the enemies. Aim, think, and memorize :> Know where to aim. It helps to wait
if this is your first run through, be very careful with the bystanders at the same
time try to kill everyone ASAP.

========
Boss Info
========
The Big Boss is here...behind those cars, making it harder to shoot him. There are
two bystander here so be careful. Aim at the gaps of the cars (the one in the right
of the screen, he'll go through that first) He throws grenades but can they really
kill you? I don't remember dying here, just running out of time.

*****************************
Final Stage 2: Osaka Shopping Mall
*****************************
Stage: Hard
Bystanders: None
Boss: Hard

If you got three of the orange ringed targets then you get this final area. No
bystanders but you might hit your colleagues. This is a bit easier than the other
final stage but the boss is harder. Areas are complied. First few areas will have
guys who hide behind those big pillars. Next few areas will have guys run through
the pillars (going left), so you will see them before you can shoot them. Next,
there will be guys on the sides of the ceiling. Then...

========
Boss Info
========
Ok, aim in between the two groups of colleague wall that they have formed (Be
careful not to hit them though). He likes to slide from one pillar to another. I
suggest taking out every normal enemy you can before you raise your head. There are
a lot of bullets flying. If you take out the normal enemies then you should have an
easier time aiming for him. Finally you're done...or are you...

========
Boss Info
========
So there's another boss. He's much easier than the previous one but a bit far
though. Plus your colleagues are chasing him. Try to take him out ASAP because well
he's more like a bonus boss; your colleagues will surround him if you don't shot
him. So there's a time limit.

----------------------------------------
IV. Miscellaneous
----------------------------------------
- There are "extra" characters that are accessible. Pull the trigger 10 times, on
the tenth, hold it down. Insert your token while holding the trigger down until the
characters come out. But it doesn't change the bullets or anything like that. It
simply changes your sprite of the policewoman and detective.
