- Welp I'm back for Round 2 with the Mini-Mix gang.......this time
around I'm doing things on Morrigan. Now I know everyone says how
beautiful and great Morrigan is and even I have to admit when people
are right they're right.....but she'll never hold the place that
Felicia has with me. Now granted at times even I think she's better
than Felicia move wise, but that's only due to certain circumstances.
I'm a Felicia Fan through and through. Now I am doing things the same
way with this FAQ that I did with the Felicia one, meaning there's
gonna be some major SPOILERS ahead, namely the ending for Morrigan.
So if you want to earn her ending the honorable way then just skip
the Ending Chapter for Morrigan. Welp lets get this show on the road
alerady......
- Oh yeah.......No copying my work onto your site without asking my
permission. It's as simple as e-mailing me, asking me to use it. I'll
say yes if you do ask, so lets save some hassle here by doing things
right.
- Ok....I know I said final version, but I found something new to add
into the guides. I've now put in the different costumes for each
character in the Overall Stats Chapter of the guide. Sorry to leave
out such a factor to the game.

1) Morrigan's Story
- Just like all good Capcom fighters each fighter has their own reasons
for traveling around and beating the living hell out of each other.
Morrigan just seems to keep getting herself into all kinds of crazy
situations since she appears in all sorts of Capcom Crossover games.
From Puzzle Fighting to Mini Fighting to Street Fighting this girl
just can't keep away from the mainstream of Capcom games. So here's
Morrigan's Story straight from the Mini-Mix game.
- (Shows Morrigan staring at some picture while sitting on the edge of
a balcony in her castle.)
Is this the famous Chun-Li?! She isn't that beautiful! She's an awful
dresser too!
Morrigan takes pride in critizing the various pictures of girls that
she orders her butlers to collect for her.
I'll prove to the world who is the most beautiful!
And so, Morrigan flew off into the moonlit night, intent on
"convincing" anyone who might disagree with her.
- So this time around Morrigan's really vain about her looks and goes
off in search of Chun-Li to prove to the world that she's not as
beautiful as her. So now her journey begins to find Chun-Li.....
2) Controls
- The Joystick controls your character (or if you got yourself an
emulated version like me then you can use the D-Pad)
up - jump
down - duck
left and right - move forward and backward
double tap left and right - dash/run forward or backward
P - Punch
K - Kick
S - Special
- Common Motions Used:

3) Moves
- Time to learn the basics of what to do with Morrigan.....
- Throws -
- You can do a throw in the air by pressing the p+k buttons together in
the air. Morrigan does her Ground Pound in the air.
- p+k (Ground Pound.......simply just tosses the opponent into the
floor bouncing them backwards)
- hcf p+k (Jet Crash.......uses the little rocket packs on her back (if
that's what it is, I never figured out if she's using a
rocket pack or not!!!!! Oh well.....) to fly upward holding
the opponent and then spirialing to the ground to slam the
opponent)
- hcb p+k (Bottle Rocket.......she throws on a kimono and then pulls
out what looks like a firework or a trash can, if anyone can
clearify this then e-mail me, and slams it onto her
opponent. After a brief second a small explosion can be seen
and Morrigan covering her ears to watch her opponent go
flying through the air)
- Combos -
- The combos that I describe are to me her most lethal and effective
combos to use, so my suggestion is use them. I will also list the
combos that you can do with her as well.
- PPPP (The Hospital Combo.......after the intial punch she goes into
nurses garb and slams a thermometer into the enemy's stomach,
then swings an IV at the opponent, and ends the combo with a
wheelchair slamming into the poor victim)
- PKPP (The Kimono Combo........after the intial punch she gets into
a waitress uniform and serves some coffee to the opponent, next
she gets into a kimono and swipes a fan across the opponents
face, ending everything with the Bottle Rocket grab move)
- PKKK (The Waitress Combo.......after the intial punch she goes to
work for the local coffee shop by serving up some tea, then
by spilling the tea, and ending the combo by giving you your
bill by totalling up the amount owed through a cash register)
- PPKK (The Maid Combo.......after the intial punch she slams the
thermometer into her opponent, then gets into maid attire
complete with a mop that she swipes forward 2 times, ending
things with a big ol' frying pan to the forehead)
- PKKP (The 2nd Kimono Combo......same deal as the first one only
you're substituting the fan slap for the coffee spill move.)

- Special -
- Time to learn how that S button works with Morrigan. Remember now,
each attack can be charged for extra amounts of damage, and each
attack is designated to knocking out specific gem colors.
- S alone (The Big Ol' Frying Pan..........Going into her maid outfit
Morrigan can charge up some strength behind this move as she
slams it into her opponent flatening them to the size of a
pancake. This move has some nice reach and can be used over
and over as an offensive type move.)
- f+S (The Booster Shot........I never want to go into a doctor's
office that make me have to take a shot like this. Morrigan
pulls out a giant shot bigger than her and lunges it forward
into her opponent. She maybe a sexy nurse, but she's a
scary one too. This move has the longest reach of the three
S moves, and is a great way to catch opponents off guard.)
- d+S (Tee Time...........Morrigan joins the WPGA and tries to
become the next Tiger Woods, only pale and sexier than him.
Morrigan dons golf attire and pulls out the 9 Iron to score
a hole in one by sending the opponent skywards if it hit
just right with this move. This move has the shortest reach
of the three, but not by much. Morrigan has one of the best
Special sets in the game. All can be used as offensive moves
and this one can be used as a defensive manuever if timed
correctly. She is a force to dealt with in this game with
moves like these)
- Special Moves -
- qcf+P (Soul Fist...............One of Morrigan's more popular moves,
this is one of the moves that levels up as you collect red
gems. At LVL 1 the blast is a small twinkling bat, at LVL 2
it becomes bigger and combos a little bit, and at LVL 3 the
blast becomes what it is off of the Marvel Vs Capcom Series
and combos like crazy off of one blast. When this move does
reach LVL 3 don't be on the receiving end of it)
- fdf+P (Shadow Blade...........Taking a page out of Ryu and Ken's book
Morrigan uses her bladed wing to slice upwards into the air.
This is another move that gains levels as you collect yellow
gems. At LVL 1 she barely gets off the ground to do one hit
worth of damage, at LVL 2 she goes up into the air just a bit
to get in at least a 3 hit combo, and finally at LVL 3 she
goes for the clouds with shadow versions of herself following
her into the sky for a great combo)
- qcb+K (Twirling Blade..........Instead of doing what Ryu does for his
Hurricane Kick, she uses her bladed wings to stay in place and
fly in circles. This is the final move that gains strength as
you collect blue gems. This move is best left as a defensive
type move to get an offensive opponent a few feet back from
you. The more levels it gains the bigger the combo gets from
it)
- Super Moves -
- Alright........it's time to put the hurt on people! We all know that
opponents can be annoying thinking that they will go all out
offensive on you, but if you have your Super Meter Bar filled up at
least once, then you'll be able to use some of Morrigan's most
devestating moves.
- qcb+S (Ultimate Twirling Blade............Spinning at top notch speed
Morrigan dishes out the power behind this move by slapping the
enemy around for at least 17 Hits. This move is stationary, so
you have to be relatively close to the opponent. This move is
best left as a defensive counter, meaning while the opponent
is doing an attacking combo and you're blocking, put in this
move to give them the surprise the of a lifetime)
- fdf+S (Ultimate Shadow Blade............Morrigan seems to take a page
out of Ken and Akuma's book by doing two revolution of her
Shadow Blade getting off a few good hits to combo with, before
the final hit with the Shadow Blade where it looks like her
LVL 3 Shadow Blade. A very nice combo and can be used as
either an offensive or defensive move, whichever you wish it
to be at that moment in time)
- hcf+S (Tag Teaming Sisters............Lilith lends Morrigan a hand by
teleporting in behind the opponent and mirroring Morrigan's
combo doubling the pain on the poor unsuspecting victim. This
is Morrigan's most deadly and dangerous Super Move, as it
takes off a huge chunk of the opponent's life. This move is
best left as an offensive move, but you can use it as a
defensive counter if you wish to. The only thing with this
move is that unless you're close to the opponent, Morrigan
travels somewhat slow for a small distance to hit the opponent
with, and all a more true fighter has to do if they see it
coming is block. That's right, this move is totally blockable.
So get in as close as you can before using it)
4) Overall Stats
- Alrighty, time to give my two cents worth of what I think of Morrigan
in this section, her victory phrases, and her final battle
conversation with Chun-Li. So here it is already......
- First her victory phrases.....
- My house? It's just a castle with stewards. Oh yes, and bats!
- If you don't think I'm the most beautiful, I'll punish you!
- Those bats around me? They hold my stuff when I go shopping!
- You've torn my stockings!! Now, you shall feel my wrath!
- Now here's where I tell all of you about Morrigan. In all honesty it
surprises me how she's taken off the way she has, but then again it
doesn't. I mean you do see her everywhere when it comes to Capcom.
I do have to say that she is a very formidable fighter that in the
hands of some of the master fighter gamers out there, she becomes one
tough woman! She is the equivalent to Ryu and Ken, plus she throws in
her own mix of disaster and devestation. Round that all up into one
nice little sexy package and you do have a force to worry about. If
anything I do hate more is someone that's really good with Morrigan.
They do make for some of the best challenges around, but they can
also ruin some good winning runs that you're on as well. Just
practice with her enough and you too can become one of those masters.
- Now here's the conversation for the final battle with Chun-Li....
- (Morrigan)
How will I ever find that Chun-Li...Hi chef, I'd like to order some
wonton noodles! No garlic or MSG please!
(Chun-Li)
I'd like some garlic noodles! Give me lots of gralic, okay? A really
big heap of it!
(Morrigan)
Uggh! I can't believe there's a lady who would eat a heap of garlic
in the daytime....Oh! You're Chun-Li!
(Chun-Li)
What's your problem?! Policewomen need lots of energy! What's so bad
about garlic?!
- And there you have it......after that little convo, the final battle
begins....
- Costumes -
- Now yes you do hve different costumes to use, but they're really just
different colors like in the other Capcom games. Ah well, least wise
they add some diversity to each character right? Here's Sakura's
different colors.
- Punch Button = Normal Colors
- Kick Button = Just has a silverish/blue hair color
- S Button = All her clothes are a lighter tone, her hair is blondes,
and her eyes are red
5) Ending
- Now again......if you want to earn the ending for Morrigan yourself
then don't look at this chapter. Now for those that do, here it is.
- (Morrigan standing up straight smiling wide contently)
Yes I won! Now I proved that I am really number one! I'm the most
beautiful and the strongest too.
(Eyes narrow alittle bit)
From now on, every man in the world is going to kneel down before me!
Really? You think I'm so cute??
(Morrigan's eyes widen with shock)
What?!
(Her arms drop and she watches Lilith pass behind her with three
weird stick figure men bouncing around her with hearts for eyes)
(Morrigan gets angry)
Why? Why is that flat-chested girl so popular? She may be cute, but
not beautiful like me!
Shoot! I'm tired today so I'll go home. But tommorow I'll teach that
cutesy girl a thing or two! Hmph!
(Shows Morrigan angry with Lilith in the background doing a cute
pose)
It seems Morrigan has a long way to go before she is truley queen.
- And there you have it.....while she did defeat Chun-Li, Lilith gets
all the attention. This is a big slap in the face to all Morrigan
fans if you ask me. Oh well.....
6) Credits
- First off I'd like to say congrats to my sister that's getting
married tommorow. I dunno how things are gonna turn up for her in the
future, but hey isn't that half the fun of wondering? Well just take
care of yourself Jaime, and make sure your new hubby doesn't get
himself into that much trouble.....a little trouble's ok.
- Now thanks goto Capcom for making this addictive little game. It's
crazy as hell to play and really anybody should be able to get into
the game no matter who it is.
