Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is considered one of the best, if not the best game
in what is the most popular Tom Clancy-brand sub-franchise. Sam Fisher's
adventure in Chaos Theory propelled him to legendary video game character
status, and has ensured that the series is still going strong to this day. With
about a million other slightly enhanced ports on the 3DS already, Ubisoft
figured, "Eh, what the hell!" and decided to bring Sam Fisher's most exciting
adventure to the 3DS with a few changes--including 3D! So, toss those old 3D
glasses in the trash, pick up your eye-melting 3DS and get ready for tactical
espionage action! Er...

Even though Splinter Cell 3D is a port of Chaos Theory, it's a remastered port.
What that means is that there have been new features added and some things
changed. Splinter Cell 3D utilizes touch-screen controls and the motion
controls of the 3DS as well. Not only that, but some levels have been changed,
meaning that a walkthrough for Chaos Theory's console equivalents or its
prior handheld outings might not be completely compatible with Splinter Cell
3D. Other changes include the lack of multiplayer and co-op. Also, hiding dead
bodies, a major gameplay mechanic in the original Chaos Theory, is more or less
pointless in this new game, for much of the adventure.

It seems the Chinese and North Koreans are up to some shenanigans, and the U.S.
isn't taken too kindly to it. They do the logical thing and send in the
deadliest and stealthiest secret agent since Solid Snake, Sam Fisher! Can
Fisher stop the evil plots of the Chinese and North Korean governments? I guess
that really depends on you, since you're controlling Sam, after all! And how do
you do that, anyways?

I'm glad you asked!

2. Things to Remember
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D is a rather complicated game, especially for a
handheld. So, here's some things to keep in mind to keep your experience with
the game a little more smooth sailing!

The top screen is where the main gameplay is displayed. At the top left of the
screen, there is a meter. On the far left of the meter, it is black. On the
right side of the meter, it is white. Depending on where the ball is on the
meter, Sam is either hidden in the dark, or exposed to the elements out in the
open.

Right next to that spiffy meter is a meter that displays how loud Sam is being.
Keep crouched to avoid making too much noise. There is a marker on the meter
that shows how much noise Sam can make and get away with without causing too
many issues like arousing the suspicions of nearby enemies.

The third meter that is constantly displayed on the top screen is a health
meter. Now, just in case you don't have much experience with video games, it is
a wise idea to try to keep this thing filled at all times.

To save the game, you have to approach large icons that are spinning around in
the levels. When alarms are activated, be sure to either hide from the nearby
threats, or take them out and hang back until everything cools down. By using
the touch-screen, contextual actions can be made. These include moving a dead
body or using medkits that hang on the walls, among other things. Be sure to
keep in mind that there are certain actions not available to Sam if there are
enemies in the vicinity that are aware of his presence. This includes being
able to save the game. Yes, this paragraph is a random string of information.
Useful information, nonetheless.

Also, the 3DS does indeed have motion controls built into the device! When Sam
uses the optic cable to peak under doors, you just need to move the device to
the left or to the right in order to scope out the area behind the door.

There are a couple of different mini-games that help Sam access computers or
open locked doors. These mini-games are lockpicking and hacking. To lockpick,
simply rotate the circle pad in a variety of different directions until you
find one that makes the lock on the top screen shake. Hold it in this direction
and then repeat the process until the lock is successfully picked. Hacking is a
bit more complicated. When hacking, there is a cube that appears on the bottom
screen that is missing pieces. On the top screen, there are different shapes
that can be matched up with the cube in order to complete the puzzle. These
puzzles are seemingly random, so I can't tell you the exact solution, but these
hacking puzzles tend to be rather simple.

Each mission has its own secondary objectives. These objectives can be viewed
in the pause screen. By accessing the map, you can see where these objectives
are located in the level. The map is a FANTASTIC tool and don't be afraid to
use it as much as you need to.

With each alarm raised, the enemies will do something to become more powerful.
They will put on body armor or put on a helmet so you can't do headshots. Trip
too many alarms, and you will fail all of your secondary objectives.

Just a disclaimer, this guide's MAIN focus is to get players through the main
storyline in the game.

A. Lighthouse: The Dungeons
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
After the opening scenes and the following debriefing, notice the large note in
the background about how to control the camera. Take this time to get used to
the camera controls as well as the controls in general. In video games, you
need to get comfortable in somebody else's skin (unless you're like, playing a
Kinect game or whatever), so be sure to do so before continuing. It is a matter
of national security, after all.

Head towards the large note in the distance that tells you about the camera
controls. You can do a full-on sprint without any worries. Head through the
cave and Sam will get a call. Keep walking until you see more letters displayed
that tell you how to jump. Jump up on the ledge, and then do so for the next
ledge. Jump up again, and you'll see more giant words. This time, they say
Stay in the Dark. This is good advice indeed. Start walking across the bridge,
and even though the game's lighting does a bad job of representing it, you need
not worry; Sam is completely shrouded in darkness while on this bridge. There
is a guard that is patrolling here. Wait for him to have his back turned on
Sam and then slowly approach him. Press either of the triggers to take care of
the guard. You don't need to worry about doing anything with the body. Head
down the nearby cavern, where you'll come across a medical kit attached to the
wall. On the off-chance that you received damage during the previous
altercation, you can use the medkit to heal yourself. Head down the next
hallway and approach the spinning icon to save your progress so far.

Stealthily open the door. You'll notice two bad guys hanging out under a lamp.
Well, if you equip your goggles by clicking the icon on the top right of the
touch-screen, an piece of equipment will glow white. Approach it. It's a
generator. Trust me on this. Choose to switch it off, then walk away from it.
With the light out, one of the guards will come investigate the generator.
After he turns it back on, stealthily knock him out and hide his body. On the
touch-screen, click the icon at the top of the screen in the middle. This will
irritate the next guard, and he will walk forward to investigate. Wait for him
to turn around and take him out. Fisher will then get a call.

Head up the stairs. Click the icon on the top left of the screen to equip Sam's
scanner. At the top of the stairs, there is a box sitting in front of you. Scan
the box by zooming it on it with the scanner. To zoom in, using the left
trigger. Go to the next door. You'll have to pick the lock. To do this, choose
"pick" out of your possible interaction options, and then use the circle pad.

Rotate the circle pad until the lockpick starts shaking and hold it in that
direction. Keep doing this until the door is unlocked. Head through. Slowly
make your way down the rampway there the water is flowing down. There is a
large shadow on the wall. You gotta save this guy, as the giant words on the
wall tell you. I think Sam Fisher needs to see a shrink about these problems.
Regardless, hang back until a guard walks into view. Get close to him and
either knock him out or kill him. Whatever floats your boat. Pick up the
flashbang grenades off the box.

Now time to save the dead guy chilling out in the tub. Click on the grenade
icon to equip the flashbangs you picked up. Aim the arrows into the room and
press the right trigger to chuck the flashbang into the room. This will
temporarily blind the lone guard in there. Run in and then take him out. Sam
will then get a call. Listen and then open the nearest door.

B. Lighthouse: The Fortress
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Save the game at the icon you see. There is an open doorway here, and there are
a couple of bad guys on the other side. This part has always given me issues.
My suggestion is to throw a flashbang grenade into the room, and then quickly
take the two men out using one of Sam's guns. You can equip these using the
touch-screen. Head through to the next room. There is an iron bar door. Open
the door and walk through. The game will then inform you of Sam's nigh
supernatural ability to lean against walls! Use the d-pad to lean against the
wall. Hug the wall until Sam peaks his head around the corner and listens in on
the conversation of a couple of goons. Wait for them to walk through the next
door and head down the stairs.

Walk into the room. Lean against the wall near the open doorway. Peak your head
around the corner. One of the two guards will come through the door. Get his
attention on PURPOSE. Take him out quickly. The second guard will then
foolishly run through the door. Hug the wall and then take this guard out as
soon as he comes through the doorway. Go into the room that they were just
occupying and walk up the next set of stairs. Keep following this path until
you find another lock to pick. Pick the lock.

In this room, there are a couple of guys sleeping on the job. One of the
enemies is sitting in a chair and the other is sleeping on a cot. Make your way
behind the chair. Get close enough until the "Grab character" option appears
on the bottom of the screen. Choose to do this. Then knock him out or kill him.
Afterwards, approach the dude sleeping on the cot. Knock him out or kill him,
too. Use the medkit to restore your health if you've taken any damage so far.

Run through these next hallways, even though they're illuminated, but be sure
to crouch again until you reach the next open doorway. Slowly make your way
into this room. Notice the dude typing information into the computer. Take him
out in the usual Sam Fisher fashion. After this has been completed, access the
computer. You can read the e-mails if you want, delete the files if you want,
but whatever you do, back out of the computer. Turn around and then scan the
box sitting on the table on the far end of the room. Go through the next door,
pick the next lock, and then keep walking until you reach the hole. Interact
with the hole to head into the next level.

C. Lighthouse: The Lighthouse
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Listen to the dudes talk as you save your game. Look out at the two enemies and
scan the box that's in plain view. Then equip a weapon and shoot out the light
that is hanging above them. They will then start walking around and
investigating what the hell happened. Wait for one of them to walk close to you
and then walk over and take him out. Take out the other guard as well.

Go down the stairs and then slide down the ladder. Keep going, and then the
game will tell you all about melee attacks. As you could probably guess, there
is an unavoidable enemy up ahead. Sneak up behind him and take him out. Keep
walking, and you'll notice the lighthouse in the distance, as well as enemy
standing in front of it. The bridge is shrouded in darkness, so just slowly
approach the guy and then take him out with either the left trigger for a
non-lethal strike or use the right trigger for a lethal strike, depending on
how morbid you are feeling.

Approach the steel door on the lighthouse. You can use the optic cable to see
that there is a man operating a radio. Stealthily open the door and then
silently make your way behind the man sitting in the chair. Use the
touch-screen to grab him. Then use the touch-screen again to instigate an
interrogation. After Sam has forced information out of this dude, do what you
wish with him. Then climb the nearby ladder. Use the save game icon in this
room next to the beat-up row of lockers. Climb up the next ladder.

At the top, walk over to the switch. There is a guy patrolling right outside,
so be sure not to draw his unwanted attention. Turn off the light using this
switch. Afterwards, take care of the guard. Then use the touch-screen to call
for the extraction and complete the Lighthouse mission!

D. Cargo Ship: Lower Decks
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Right at the start of the mission, there are two enemies near Sam to be aware
of. Take care of these two guys with melee attacks. Head down the set of stairs
and walk through the next doorway. Make your way to the next area, where you'll
find another set of stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, there is a guard that
has dozed off in a chair. Take this bad guy out and then slide open the door
he was doing a terrible job of guarding. Sam will then be told about one of the
secondary objectives in the Cargo Ship missions, which is to place tracking
devices on crates containing illegal weapons.

There is a small crevice between the large crates that will allow you to shimmy
through. Once this feat is completed, there is a large box that you will have
to jump over. Do so, and then shimmy through the next open area. This is where
you will come across your first box of illegal arms. Approach it to plant a
tracking device on it using the touch-screen. After this, use the save icon
that is also in this room to save your progress so far.

Climb up the ladder. There is a door that is just barely holding back a giant
rush of water. Walk past it. The next room you come across, there will be a
guard in there standing in the middle of the room. Take this guy out and then
grab all of the ammunition and what-not on the table. Then turn your attention
to the vent. Interact with it using the touch-screen to hop through. Crawl
through the vent until you reach the other side. Press down on the d-pad to
get in a crouched position to avoid making too much noise. Take out the guard
that is near to you. Silently walk along the catwalk to the ladder. Slide down
the ladder, and then take out the guy standing next to the control console.
Knock the guard out and then interact with the control panel.

Go through the next door and walk through the hallway. Keep going until there
is a door that can be slid open on your left. Walk through this door and then
use the save icon in this room. Follow the path through the large crates until
you find a document attached to one of the crates. Interact with the document.
Then backtrack to the hallway. There are now two guards at the far end of the
hallway. Chuck a flashbang grenade at their feet. Once it explodes, run over to
them and take them out with melee attacks.

The next area is kind of difficult. There are numerous guards in this place,
and if any of them spot you and open fire, the ship will explode due to a very
inconvenient gas leak. Well, ignore the first guy you see. He will walk away if
you wait long enough. Then start walking towards the light on the far end of
the room. Avoid the patrols and keep walking. A guard will inevitably start
walking towards you, so be sure to take him out. Head up the stairs, take out
the remaining guard up here, and then make your way to the next room. Shimmy
through the area between the crate and the wall. Open the next door to reach
the next level.

E. Cargo Ship: Upper Decks
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
First thing's first! Save the game! Then walk up the stairs. Silently open the
next door you come across and head through. There's a computer in this room
that is turned on. You can access it if you want. If not, turn your attention
to the adjacent room, which is brightly lit, and has a couple of enemies in
here. There is a lot of ways that you can handle this situation. You can take
out the light to confuse them and then kill them; you can toss a flashbang
grenade; or you can do it my way. Just whip it Sam's silenced pistol and
carefully line up a headshot. Take out the guard that is standing first, and
then quickly move in to melee the other guard before he's any the wiser. With
these cronies disposed of, access the computer to complete an objective.

Then continue through the next door, which will lead you outside. Approach the
box that is under the set of stairs to place a tracking device on it. Go up the
stairs and ignore the door you see. Go up the next flight of stairs and then
enter the next level.

F. Cargo Ship: The Bridge
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
You need to save the game after walking up the stairs. Use the optic cable at
the next door you come across to see a couple of enemies in the next room
standing at computer terminals. Stealthily open the door. Silently take out the
guard farthest from you at first, and then slowly make your way to the man
standing in the pool of light. Get close enough to grab him and then
interrogate him. When this is done, knock him out. Collect all the supplies in
the room that you can and head down the stairs. There's a spinning save icon
here as well as a medkit on the wall. Restore your health if needed and be sure
to save your progress before leaving the room.

There are a couple of bad guys in this next area. If you didn't use the medkit
hanging on the wall already, you might as well have fun with this and mow them
down with bullets. If you did already use the medkit and won't be able to heal
yourself if you take damage, then just take them out the old-fashioned silent
way. Regardless, after these guards have been taken care of, continue through
the ship. Keep walking until you see a couple of boxes a hallway to Sam's
right. Shimmy in the space between the box and the wall to make it through to
the other side. Use the optic cable at the closed door to listen in on a
conversation between your target and his appointed bodyguards. Open the door
and then walk through the open door that will be on Sam's right, past the door
with the valve attached to it. Your target is just in the next room, as are two
heavily-armed assailants that are protecting him. Turn off the lights in this
room to attract their attention. Stand by the door and silently take them out
one-by-one as they walk through. They will truly do this. Or, if you are
feeling a little more violent, wait for their conversation to end. Take out the
target as he comes through the door, and then find some cover to take out his
two bodyguards. With your objective completed, walk up the next set of stairs
that you find, save your game, and place a tracking device on the box that is
sitting against the wall.

Now backtrack all the way to the room with the computer monitors. Keep heading
through this area. There are two open doorways, and both lead outside. One of
them is the way you came, so don't go through that one; go through the next
one. Out here, there is a crate that is sitting next to the stairs that you can
place a tracking device on. Climb up the stairs, make your way around until you
reach the hull of the ship. There are a couple of enemies below. Take them out
with well-placed headshots if you wish, and then make your way to the large
piece of equpiment. You'll have to climb a ladder to reach it. But once you do,
approach it and interact with it to exit the level.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
G. Bank: North Wing
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Money in 'da BANK! Your first priority is to break into the bank. There are a
couple of guard in this first area, but you can sneak past them without too
many problems. There is a small wooden door that will be on the right that you
need to reach. Open the door and head through. Walk through this next area, and
then Sam will be told to avoid being seen by cameras. Unfortunately, there's a
camera on the wall to the left. Hug that wall to safely walk under the camera
and then climb up the ladder. Open the door on the roof and then approach the
device on the far wall. Interact with it to turn off the magnetic locks.
However, doing this has made laser grids appear in the bank. Save your game on
the roof, and then climb down the rope that is now available at the open
window.

Climb all the way down the rope. When you land, equip your scanner and scan the
lit-up computer monitor that is in plain view. Use the right trigger to access
the monitor remotely. Choose to turn off the laser grid. Silently open the door
as there is a guard snoozing on a chair nearby, and then walk through to the
next area (not where the guard is sitting). Open either of the doors here to
reach the main lobby. There is a guard at the front desk, and a security camera
on the wall behind him. Make your way over to the guard and take him out. Don't
worry about getting seen by the camera. Walk over to the computer to access it.
This is where you'll encounter your first hacking puzzle!

Hacking is rather simple. There's a cube on the bottom screen that has a piece
missing. You need to find the correct shape on the top screenn, rotate it to
fit the cube, and then validate your selection. Since these hacking puzzles are
random, I can't tell you the exact solution. However, they're rather simple to
figure out. With the first hacking puzzle done, choose all of the different
options on the computer before backtracking to the area where you turned off
the laser grid.

Now it's time to deal with the guard that's chilling out in the chair. Knock
him out and then walk over to the door. It's time for another hacking puzzle!
This one will be slightly more difficult, but still nothing too hard. After
completing this hacking puzzle, you get to enter the next area.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
H. Bank: East Wing
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Save your game. Notice the camera on the wall to the left. Immediately hug the
wall on the right side of the door with the laser on the front. A guard will
open the door and step through. Quickly kill him. The next guard will then come
through. Kill him as soon as he steps through the door as well. Go into this
room and approach the computer. Use the computer, hack it, and access
everything else on it. Leave this room and save your game again, just in case.

Hug the wall with the camera on it to avoid being seen, and then keep going.
There is a medkit on the wall here. Use it to replenish your health if you need
to, and then head up the stairs. There is a guard in the room at the top of the
stairs, so be wary of him. Take him out when you have the chance, then hop over
the desk. Walk over to the computer monitor on the desk and access it, hack it,
and upload the fake e-mail. Even though the game does a very poor job of
showing you (if you have the 3D turned off), you can enter a hallway in this
room if you walk forward a little bit.

This will place you in a hallway. Go all the way out of the hallway and you'll
notice a problem! There are green lasers blocking Sam's path. Tripping one of
these lasers will raise an alarm. With each alarm raised, the enemies will do
something to become more powerful. They will put on body armor or put on a
helmet so you can't do headshots. Trip too many alarms, and you will fail all
of your secondary objectives. So, how exactly are you going to get past these
alarms? Well, head back into the hallway that you just came from. Hug one of
the walls and you will be able to do the splits and hold yourself above anyone
that walks through. Shoot your gun repeatedly at the ground until a guard makes
his way over there. Wait for him to walk under you, and then turn around. If
you're lucky, you can land right on him. If not, quickly take him out with
melee attacks. You can also just stay suspended and get a headshot, assuming
you didn't trip too many alarms by running in front of cameras or anything.
Pick up his body and then walk towards the lasers. The guard's security pass
will make each laser disappear as you walk next to it. After you bypass all the
lasers, dump the body behind the nearby desk where the save icon is, and then
save your game.

Head into the next area. Be aware of the camera. Make your way around to the
door for the glass structure in the middle of the room. The game will remind
you of the code. Use the code to enter the room. The guards will become aware
that you opened the door, obviously, so toss a flashbang grenade in there. Use
this momentary distraction to take out the two guards. Hack the two terminals
in the room, access everything, disable the camera system, and then leave this
glass structure. Go to the unopened and locked door. Hack it and head through
to the President's Office. Go to the door in this room, unlock it, and then
head right through. Go to the computer sitting on the desk and hack it as well.
Upload the fake e-mail. Notice the red blinking light to the left of the desk.
Walk over to the light and then activate it. Backtrack to the room where you
carried the body through the lasers. Pick up the body and then make your way
to the nearby door and open it.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I. Bank: West Wing
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Walk down the stairs. There's a camera on the wall down here. Hug the wall that
has the camera on it. Shimmy along the wall to avoid being detected by the
camera. Shoot out both lights that are hanging on the ceiling. There are three
enemies in this hallway that are a serious pain in the ass. Try to lure them
one-by-one away from each other and take them out with melee attacks. If worst
comes to worst, you can take them out with guns. Regardless, take note of the
door with the broken electronic lock. This is the Treasurer's Office, which is
home to the second switch that you need to press. If you go down the hallway
where the enemies were, you can go through a glass door to hack some stuff on
the inside. Continue through to the next set of doors, which lead outside.

There's a camera out here, but if you've disabled the cameras, then you have
nothing to worry about. However, you do need to worry about the bad guy that's
at the bottom of the stairs. Take him out from afar, and just hope that he
doesn't see you and kill you. When this is done with, crawl through the vent
that is under the security camera. Crawl through the vent to reach the
Treasurer's Office. There's a red button on the wall in here to take care of as
well. There's also a computer in here you can hack and send the fake e-mail if
you would like. Backtrack out of the vent.

There's a pole on the wall. Ignore it for now. Equip a gun and walk backwards,
down the stairs. Keep your gun trained on the balcony above. There's a single
enemy up there. Fire at him to take him out. Then jump onto the pole and climb
up it. Shimmy along the pipe that's going from left to right at the top and
then press down on the d-pad to drop down to the balcony. There's a vent in the
wall. Crawl through the vent to reach the next level.

Return to the hallway that had the trio of enemies there. The door that was
previously impassable is now open for business. Head through there and then
head down the stairs. There's an open doorway down there that has a bunch of
safety deposit boxes. Find the correct one by hugging them and walking along,
and then open it to get the new equipment. There's also a computer in this area
that you can hack. Afterwards, head out of here and run down the next hallway
to see a spinning icon. Save at the icon.

Walk over to the lock on the right side of the room. Approach it to shove a
pick inside of it. Then go the lock on the left side and start the lockpicking
mini-game. This one is a little bit different. You need to hold the circle pad
in the correct direction. Wait for the green lights to all light up, and then
try to find the next direction to keep picking the lock. After the locks have
been picked, walk over to the huge vault door and place the charges. Walk away
from the door and then detonate the explosives. Head into the vault and go to
the computer at the far end. Approach the terminal, access everything on the
computer, and then walk over to the opened cage. Pull out the object and then
exit the vault. Save at the icon to record your progress.

Run through the hallway and backtrack to the outside area where you crawled
through the vent that was under the security camera. The map is a fantastic
tool to help you, by the way. You can run down the stairs or you can use the
electrical line to zipline down to the area below. Once you do this, walk over
to the wall where it tells you exfiltrate, and do so.

You should listen to the voices in Sam's head (or rather, the words in Sam's
eyes) and avoid killing any of the American soldiers that you come across. The
first person you encounter is one of them. Lean against the wall and watch him
walk over. Wait for him to walk by you, and then quickly knock him out. There's
a pole on the right side of a nearby building, right behind a broken fence.
Jump on the pole and climb it to the top. Shimmy across the ledge when you have
the chance. Keep shimmying across the ledge until you reach a wire. Then press
up on the d-pad to climb onto the ledge, which will then cause Sam to zipline
down the line and land on a truck with its headlights on. There's a soldier
walking in front of the headlights. Wait for him to walk away and then jump
down. Walk to the garage door that's farthest from you and walk behind the jeep
in there to avoid being detected. Use the save icon to save your progress.

Wait for the National Guard guy to walk back into the garage. Sneak up behind
him and then knock his ass out. Open the nearby door. Slowly walk through the
hallways. Lean against the wall and watch as a National Guard soldier is trying
to fix the elevator. Wait for another soldier--an armed one--to make his
presence known. He'll chat with the electrician and then walk away. Sneak over
to the guy working on the elevator and knock him out. Then walk through the
elevator with the messed up door and use it to ride the elevator to the top.
You will be promoted by another soldier. Take him out with a melee attack and
then use the spinning icon to save your progress yet again.

Head up the stairs to reach the rooftop. Upon reaching the roof, walk along the
wall on the left. Keep walking until you are close to the helipad and a couple
of guys are chatting it up. Wait for the second guy to walk away. Then slowly
walk towards the remaining guard and take him out with a melee attack. Then
quickly run to the neon sign. There's a ladder right there that you can climb.
Do so very fast, because if you aren't fast enough, you will be spotted. After
climbing the ladder, make your way to the big words that tell you to use the
zipline and then jump up to use it.

Take note of the mercenary that's in the distance. Equip a weapon and line up a
headshot as he walks near. Take him out. Then slowly walk through the open
door. There are two people in here that you need to worry about. Just stand in
the darkness and wait for the second guard to walk behind the man working on
the elevator. Walk really close to him and grab him. Then equip your pistol and
kill the elevator maintenance guy from behind with a shot to the back of the
head. Then take out the guy you are holding.

You can hack the computer. Afterwards, turn your attention to the elevator.
Jump on top of it, and then jump up through the hole to reach the upper level.
Head to the left. There's a medical kit in this kitchen if you need to
replenish your health. Ignore the glass-sliding door as all it does is lead
outside to a couple of enemies that don't need to be dealt with. Backtrack a
little bit and then go down the other hallway near the elevator. This leads to
a room where a guard is sleeping in a chair. Silently make your way to him and
then take him out with a melee attack. Save your game in here.

Be careful not to be seen by the camera on the wall. Make your way up the
stairs. In the next room, there's another camera. Stay out of its sight, and
then walk into the small den. There's a door in here, so head through it. The
words that appear tell you to access the server. Save the game and then turn
your attention to the lone computer in the room. Access it and then backtrack
out of this room. Make your way all the way back to the kitchen with the
medical kit. Now go outside the glass door and take care of the two guards out
here. Now walk over to the railing and jump over it. Drop down to the roof
below by pressing down on the d-pad a couple of times. A guard will hear some
noise and start walking down the stairs towards you. Take him out with a melee
attack and then climb up the stairs that he came from and go through the doors.
Save the game and then go talk to the old man standing in the hole in the wall.

Just keep talking to the old man and then walk into the next room. Examine the
terminal. Then talk to the old man again. It's time to complete a puzzle. Start
the mainframe as told to, and then quickly press the white tube to your left.
The old man will take care of the white tubes that appear on his side of the
room. Keep pressing on the white tubes as they light up until the puzzle is
complete. Then grab the information from the terminal on the side of the room
that the old man was. It's now time to exfiltrate!

Backtrack to the elevator and hop down it! I am not joking. Sam has now been
exfiltrated!

N. Displace: Second Floor
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
There are two people to be aware of here. They are both behind a gated fence at
the start of the level. Wait for them to finish their conversation, and then
one of them with a machinegun will walk out and start patrolling the area. Take
him out by knocking him out. DO NOT KILL HIM. There is a new rule for this
mission which is to NOT kill anybody, or else it's mission failed. After this
guy is taken care of, turn your attention to the maintenance worker behind the
gate. Stealthily open the door and knock this guy out, too, before he becomes
any the wiser. There's a blinking red light on the equipment, so turn it off.
This will turn off the fan that's built into the cement structure in the middle
of the roof of the building. Go to this fan and pick the lock on the gate on
the top of it. After the lock has been picked, open the gate door. Then walk
over to the yellow and black striped thing. When you get close enough, you will
have the option to rappel down the wall. Do so. When you reach the bottom, walk
over to a grate in the floor. Use the optic cable to watch the conversation
between the two dudes in the room below. When they leave, open the grate and
hop down. Approach the computer, access it, and then go out into the hallway
and finally save your progress.

Walk down the hallway. The two guys you saw earlier are behind the glass doors.
Let them have their chat and when they leave, hack the door and walk through.
Be silent. There's a guard standing behind a desk down the hallway. The doors
will slide open automatically when you get close enough, but the guard won't
even notice. Get behind him to grab him, and then walk him over to the retinal
scanner on the wall. Force him to use the scanner to get through the door. You
can also hack it if things get hairy. Through this next door there's a couple
more guards to deal with. Knock them out, use the medical kit if you need to,
and then save your game.

This was just to save your game in case you screw up the next section. Go
down the other hallway. The man with a briefcase will be in his office. Shoot
out the light and then lean against the wall. Wait for him to step out into the
hallway and knock him out. Silently make your way into his office. There's a
steel briefcase leaning against the desk. Scan it in order to hack it and gain
the algorithm. Now return to the room I tell you to go to in the previous
paragraph...after saving yoru game of course.

Head into the next room. There's a turret in here, but it should be
deactivated. If it's not, just hack it.Walk to the end of the hallway. There's
an open vent on the ceiling. Press up to jump up and climb into the vent. Walk
forward a little more and then you can get to the first floor!

Your time here will be short. Approach the computer in this room and use the
Algorithm. Then turn the computer on, and then access the computer. When the
squares on the floor start to light up, bolt out of the room. Head to the right
and take out the first guy you see swiftly with a non-lethal melee attack.
However, this will probably alert the guard that's with this guy. Don't worry,
you can just keep going in a circle and catch him offguard, as he will be
leaning against the wall, staring at the room that you came out of. Take him
out with a melee attack as well. Then head into the next room, lean against
the wall to avoid being seen by the camera, and then call the elevator. Walk
into the elevator and press the "up" button to head to the third floor.

P. Displace: Third Floor
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Right after the elevators open, head to the left. Use your map to help guide
you, as this room is pretty big. Basically, just go towards the direct of the
spinning white cube on the map. You'll come across automatic doors, with a
camera in the room. Hug the walls to avoid camera detection and go through
another automatic door. You'll then come across a door with a keypad. I am not
sure if the codes are different for each game, but in my game, the access code
was 2346. If that doesn't work and you haven't stumbled upon the code yourself
by hacking computers and what-not, just hack the keypad. This next hallway is
kind of on the tricky side. Shoot out the lights and head into the room that
DOESN'T have anyone in it. One of the guards will exit the adjacent room and
walk away. This is your chance to slowly walk down the hallway and reach the
next door with a keypad. Hack it, head through, and slowly make your way to the
save icon. The guard that walked out of the room earlier will be chilling out
right next to it, with his back to you. Knock him out and save your game.

Now it's time to FIND INFORMATION, as the friendly giant words say. Switch off
the lights, just in case, and then head to the computer in the room that's
turned on. Access it and raid it of information. Backtrack to the large room
with the elevators. As soon as you step into this room, hang a right, then hang
a second right. The large EXFILTRATE words will tell you to go through that
door, so do so! Open going through this door, another door with a keypad will
be blocking your path. The code in my game was 3458. If that code isn't
compatible with your game and you don't have the code yourself, then just hack
it. Run up the stairs to complete the mission.

Ahh, fresh air! Upon completing the last mission, Sam has been given a scope
for a sniper-like effect with his middle weapon. To use the sniper scope, equip
the gun using the touch-screen. A circle icon will appear on the same touch-
screen icon. Tap that to zoom in with the scope. While looking down these
sights, Sam can hold his breath if you hold down the left trigger. There's a
lone enemy on a nearby ledge, so now's a good time to test out your new scope.
Take him out with a well-placed headshot and make your way to the nearby
building. Be quiet about it because there's a bad guy in the next room. Quickly
knock his ass out and head outside. You'll be told to scan the license plates
on the jeeps. First, though, there's an enemy leaning against one of the jeeps.
Shoot him in the head. Scan both of the license plates, and then head through
the next building to reach the first save point.

Walk through the circle door and be sure to lean against the wall. Use the
camera to look down the hallway--an enemy is fast-approaching. Just as he
begins to turn the corner, take him out with a melee attack. Head down this
hallway and keep making your way through the building until you reach a
hallway with a couple of drapes hanging down from the ceiling. An enemy will
start walking this way. Take him out silently. Go down this hallway and train
your sniper into the next room and pick off the guard that's standing there.
Keep going, and you'll see a guard standing at a table. Wait for him to light
a candle and then he'll walk around for a few seconds before walking away and
turning his back to you. Take him out with a well-placed sniper shot. Blow out
the candle if you wish, and the next door you reach will lead you to the next
level.

Upon starting this level, you'll hear a conversation between two enemies.
Silently walk out there and save. Don't worry, unless you make any noise, they
will be none the wiser. When their conversation is over, one will walk into
the building, and the other will lean against the railing. That's your chance
to run over and take that guy out. Then head into the next room. Silently take
out the guard in here as well, and then go to the kitchen area. This kitchen
proves to be both very helpful and a major headache. Shoot out the light on the
wall and then use the medical kit if need be. Slide open the door and then take
note of the two enemies out here. One will be walking along, and the other will
be leaning against a tree in the courtyard. Using the sniper rifle, take them
both out. There is sniper rifle bullets on the island in the middle of the
kitchen so grab those and then run across the well-lit courtyard to the set of
stone steps leading into the next room. The giant letters will say something a
little bit scary: KILL NEIDICH. Alrighty then. Silently walk to the save point
to save your game before attempting this feat.

Now, use your map to find the room where Neidich is. There's a crawlspace right
next to the door, so use it to crawl through to the room on the other side.
Slide open the door and then quickly take out Neidich before anyone notices
anything. Then make your escape by crawling through the crawlspace yet again.
Save if you want, and then slide open the door that's to the right of the big
Buddha statue. Head through to enter the next level.

Time for a good old-fashioned abduction! Save your game and then quietly enter
the next room. There's a guard in here walking around the plants in the middle.
Move in close and take this sucker out. Then head into the next room, where
there's another guard. Take him out as well. Head outside to find a set of
stairs. Slowly walk up the stairs, as there's an enemy walking above. Once you
reach the top of the stairs, quickly take the enemy out with a gunshot to the
head. Another enemy will come out, so take him out with another gunshot, or an
up-close-and-personal knife to the belly if you're feeling especially vicious.
Go through the door on the right to find a crawlspace and crawl through. You'll
then see a couple of shadows conversin in the nearby house. There's an enemy
standing guard against the building. Using the sniper rifle, take him out with
a single, clean headshot. When you hop down to try to abduct that one dude, he
will get shot by Shetlandd. Regardless, Shetland will then run off. Give chase,
using the medical kit on the wall on the way if you need to, and then go
through the door to revisit the Common Area.

World War 3?! Oh noes! It could be worse. Use the rope to climb down into the
warehouse area of this place. There are two people here walking around. Shoot
one in the head to arouse the attention of the other guy. He will then run over
to the body. Before he has a chance to radio anything in, swiftly take him out
with another headshot. Then go through the nearby door. Be wary of the camera
and hug the wall to avoid detection. The door with the locked keypad that will
block your path is shrouded in enough darkness that the camera won't see. Hack
the keypad, and be ABSOLUTELY SURE that your choice is the correct one.
Otherwise, you will die. After you hack the keypad, slowly walk inside. There
will be a room with a pool of light spilling out. A guy is watching the cameras
on the computer in this room. Silently walk in there and do to him what Sam
Fisher does best to people. Snap his neck! Then approach the save icon in the
hallway.

In the next room, there's a computer geek sitting at his computer. Shoot him in
the side of the head before he even knows what's going on. Pick up his body and
take it into the hallway. Dump it in the dark corner next to the save icon and
then return to the room. Hack the computer terminal that the dead guy wasn't at
and then head through the door on the far wall. Walk through this small
checkered hallway to come across another guy just sitting on the computer.
Jeeze, people on the computer are so lame! Meta jokes aside, sneak up behind
this guy and take him out with a melee attack. Access his computer to read
some shipping logs.

Backtrack to the room that you moved the dead body out of and go through the
other door in the room. Follow this hallway. Use the optic cable to take note
of the camera. Open the door steathily and step through. Hug the wall with the
camera attached. A worker will come around the corner and then stand by the
shelves. Shoot him in the head. Shoot out the light, and then move forward in
the cover of darkness to avoid detection from the camera and to make your way
down the flight of stairs. Enter the door.

Start off by saving your game. Slowly walk through into the shipping area.
There are two enemies here talking to each other near the pool of light. There
are two evil cameras in this place, but they are easy to avoid as long as you
stick to the dark. Anyways, take these guys out with gunfire, as this is the
easiest way to do this without getting detected by the cameras, and then make
your way to the large truck. Jump on the truck and use it to read the black and
yellow bar that runs along the ceiling. Jump on the bar and then shimmy across
to the other side where a missile is being kept. Drop down. Slide down the
ladder and then hop down. Save your game again.

Quietly walk forward a little bit. You'll see a guard sitting in a chair and
another guard standing by him. Wait for the standing guard to walk away, and
then kill the guard sitting in the chair. When the other guard returns, take
him out. Hack the keypad attached to the elevator and then ride the elevator
up. Hope that the guy at the top doesn't see you, but if he does, quickly shoot
him down. If you manage to nab him silently, you can grab him and force him to
use the retinal scanner. Otherwise, you're going to have to hack it. Be aware
of the camera in this room as well. It is not your friend. Once the retinal
scanner is hacked, head on through. Listen in on the conversation between the
North Korean general and his two soldiers. After the proof is acquired, hang
out by the war room (the room with the large computerized map in the middle).
Peak your head around the corner as the general starts walking through the room
to attract his attention on purpose. When he walks close to you, pop out and
take him out with a swift melee strike to the throat. Access the computer in
here to gain more shipping information.

Backtrack to the elevator and take it down. Once the elevator doors open up
again, run to the save point and save your game real quick-like. Then approach
the large metal doors that are to the left of the elevator. They will open
automatically when you get close enough. Go through the next set of metal doors
to reach another control room. There's a guy sitting at a terminal in here.
Slowly approach him and take him out. Use the medical kit on the nearby wall if
you're hurting, and then go through the hallway and go through the next set of
doors.

point that is located on this catwalk.

Hop off the catwalk and approach the door at the base of the stairs. Head
through to reach some sunlight! Sam Fisher and sunlight simply do not mix. So,
he's kind of like a vampire--albeit one that totes around a silenced pistol
and can do the splits to support himself above peoples' heads in small
hallways. Regardless, there is a guard enjoying the view. Take him out. Go down
the stairs to reach a room with two men standing around talking. Grab one of
them and while holding onto him, shoot the other in the head. Then take care of
the one you were holding, and then bypass the circuits on the machine that they
were looking at. Then check all the computers in this room for data before
returning to the surface. When you get back up there, approach the missile
launcher in the middle and interact with it to complete an objective. Backtrack
to the save point that's on the catwalk and use it.

Return to the large room with all of the missiles being stored in it. Backtrack
to the previous area.

X. Battery: Command Center (revisited)/East Launcher
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I decided to group these two sections together since your time in the Command
Center is very, very brief. Basically take the path with the big metal doors
that is to the right of the elevator (next to the guy sitting in the chair that
you killed) instead of the one on the left.

There's a camera on the wall, as well as an enemy standing right in front of
it, covered in light. Shoot out the light that's hanging above him so you can
have some privacy. Then get in real close and stab him in the stomach to take
chubby out. This will raise the alarm of a nearby enemy, so be sure to bolt
through the door before he catches you. Save using the save icon on the
catwalk.

Hop down and approach the circuit board attached to the wall. Bypass the
circuit to open the large door. But...oh no! Sam is too late! The missile has
launched! That's it--roll the credits! Cancel the mission! There is no hope!
Psych! Sam has four minutes to get the codes and stop the missile from arming.
Four minute warning, eh? That's something I can work with. Walk down the stairs
and grab the guard that is walking. Fire rapidly at the other guard in the
room. This will draw the attention of a third guard. Take him out with a melee
attack so he doesn't cause problems later. Hack the computer terminal in this
room to download the abort codes. Then run your ass back to the Command Center,
and step on it, Red Rang--er, I mean, Fisher!

Run over to the computer terminal, access it, and abort the missile! Then turn
right back around and go back to the East Launcher.

Run all the way back to where the missile launched to reach the extraction
point.

You start out this mission in a creepy war-torn version of a child's room.
Walk forward and you'll see a guy in the alleyway below. Use a sniper shot to
the head to take him out from afar. Drop down to the street and then walk over
to the device attached to the wall with the wire running up. Bypass this
circuit and then walk over to the fence. Push the circle pad forward against
the fence to make Sam start climbing. When you get to the other side of the
fence, stay in the darkness and lean against the wall to watch the two enemies
chat it up. One of them will walk away to go take a piss after not too long.
When he does this, get in close behind him and then grab him. Interrogate him.
Unfortunately, this information really means nothing for this game since they
took out the co-op missions, but oh well. Knock him out or kill him when you're
done with them, and then either leave his buddy alone or take him out.

On the wall, there's another device with a wire you can cut that leads to a
speaker spouting propaganda in the streets. Cut the wire, and then climb the
pole.

You will have to use a pipe that's attached to the ceiling to get over the
boxes. There's a material in the doorway in this building that you can cut.
So, do so in order to walk through. You'll see a dead body slumped against the
wall, and a guard will approach you. Take the guard out with a melee attack,
and then turn your attention to the window. There are a total of three guys
patrolling outside. Take them out with sniper shots to the head and then jump
out of the window. Go through the door.

Follow the hallway until you see a bunch of burning cabinets. Avoid the flames
or else you'll take damage. Jump up to the pipe on the wall and then use it to
shimmy over the flaming wreckage. A guard will walk over here, thinking he saw
something, but he won't fire at you. Wait for him to be positioned directly
under you, and then take him out with a unique melee attack using the triggers.
Go through the door. Be quiet out here as there is a guard whose attention you
certainly do not want to attract. Go through the closest open doorway to wind
up in a safe room. There's a medical kit on the wall in this room, which is
littered with dead bodies by the way, and a save point as well. So, heal up and
save your game.

Go out the door opposite of the one you used to enter this room. Walk down the
stairs and quietly make your way to the next room. You need to extract data
from this room, but there are two guards hanging out in here that are in the
way. You technically don't have to do anything to either guard, but it will
make your life easier if you knock them both out. Walk over to the computer
terminal, extract the data, and then backtrack. There's a hallway up the stairs
that you walked right by to get down the stairs, and that's where you need to
go to get to the roof to transmit the info...as the giant floating words say.
Just go down this hallway and call the elevator.

Oh noes! With the jet shot down, you'll need to extract the info that you just
got done extracting. Sigh. Save your game and then head down the stairs. Be
sure to avoid detection from the UAV. Walk under the stairs. An enemy will
approach the computer that is sitting on a box. Take him out with a headshot
and then walk over to the computer. Quickly access it and turn off the radar.
The UAV will probably spot you and start shooting, but don't worry about it!
Use the zipline to reach the wired fence. Climb the fence to the right to reach
a part of the fence that you can climb over. Do so, hop down, head through the
two doors, climb over the box, and then jump up to grab the pipe and start
shimmying across the room with it. Drop down, take out the two enemies on the
ground, and then the one that will show up on the balcony-like area above. Jog
over to the door, pick the lock, head through, and then save your game!

Go to the right, and open the first door on the left side of the hallway. Be
careful, because there is a drone flying around outside. Wait for it to fly
past, and then RUN to the rooftop below. Take out the enemy, quickly use the
laptop, and then go through the door. Jump up to grab the pipe on the ceiling
and shimmy across to get to the City Streets.

Save your game right off the bat. Then walk into the next room, where there is
a big hole in the floor and two enemies hanging out below. Chuck a flashbang
grenade at their feet. After the grenade goes off, hop down and quickly take
both of them out with melee attacks while they are disoriented. Grab the ammo
off the desk and open the door. Take a left and open the next door. There's a
table in here with a drone that's not put together yet. Access the computer to
get more information about the drones and then walk out of this room.

In this alleway, there's an enemy working on a truck that delivers drones. He
will get shot by someone else. Slowly walk forward, and shoot out the street
light. The enemy that killed your enemy (so shouldn't he be your friend?!) will
slowly approach to investigate. Shoot him in the head to take care of him. Then
climb the fence. Hop down on the other side and save your game in the save icon
that is floating around in the rubble.

Slowly walk through the alleyways. There are a couple of enemies standing by a
jeep, but they are going to get killed by a different enemy. Lean against the
wall and take this guy out. Then climb the pole attached to a wall and climb up
it. Take out the guard that shows up, access the computer, turn off the radar,
and then go to the next level.

Save the game and then use the medical kit if need be. Hop out of the window.
Use the powerline as a zipline to reach the nearby fire escape. There will be
an enemy patrolling below, but ignore him. Use the ladder and then drop down to
the ground. Rush the man sitting at the computer and take him out with a melee
attack. Walk into the mobile command center and access its computer to place a
tap. With this completed, back out, and then SPRINT through the alleyway to
avoid being taken out by the patrolling predator drone. Run through the large
hole in the wall and then use the save icon.

Climb the fence and then cautiously walk through the alleyway. There's an
enemy walking around the plane wreckage. Take him out. There are two pilots
that are laying in front of the plane--alive. You can save them if you want. If
you want to save them, keep reading this paragraph. If you aren't interested in
saving them, then skip to the next paragraph. Pick up one of their bodies and
run them to the alleyway that's right before the large tank. Drop the body in
the alleyway and then pick up the next body and do the same. This is a safe
distance away from the incoming missile that's going to take out the plane
wreckage so the Koreans can't get their hands on the information that the plane
stole.

There's scaffolding near the tank. Climb to the top of the scaffolding and use
your scanner on the plane wreckage to paint it as a target. Mission complete!

Right as this mission begins, there are two enemies talking by a streetlight.
Take them out by any means necessary. Then walk over to a grate in the ground.
Open the grate and drop down into the sewer area. Walk through until you find a
grate in the ceiling. Open that grate and jump up to reach the bathhouse! Save
your game. Oh, and be sure to NOT KILL ANY CIVILIANS. The voices in your head
say so.

Luckily for Sam, the two dudes in the basement with him aren't civilians. Wait
for one to take a seat, and then sneak up behind him. Grab him, and then use
him as a human shield as you shoot the other guy to death. Knock the guy you
are holding out and then walk up the stairs. Stealthily open the door, and
then shoot out the light that's hanging above the two men talking at the table.
They will walk around in the dark trying to figure out what the hell happened.
Leave them alone. Walk past them and go through the door that's just past the
desk. Stealthily open the next door you see, to find two suits talking. Take
both of these guys out with gunfire, and then access the computer at the desk.
Access the computer and hack it. Turn off the security cameras. Walk up the
stairs, KNOCK OUT the civilian that is walking up here, and then go into the
room on the right to save your game.

Walk back out into the hallway and walk over to the door with the locked
keypad on it. Hack the keypad and then walk into the room. Go to the computer,
hack it, access the information, and then leave this room. Return to the save
point and save your game again. Now backtrack all the way to the room where you
shot out the light above the two guys talking at the table. You'll notice light
spilling through a door that was previously shut. Head this way and go through
the door in this place to reach the next level.

Walk quietly into the locker room. Between the first two rows of lockers there
should be a spinning save icon. Take advantage of it. Ignore the bathroom
stalls in here. There are enemies and they will shoot the crap out of you, if
you open the door and scare the crap out of them. Er...Anyway, walk past. In
the hallway, ignore the first left you can make, and then take the next left
into a room with a couple of enemies and some baths. Take out the enemies, and
then check the baths. One of them will have a trapdoor. Open the door and climb
the lader into the piping hallways below. Go through the crawlspaces and follow
the paths until you find another ladder. Climb up it, open the trapdoor, and
you will be in another room with baths. Ignore the enemies here and exit go
through the nearest open door. Go into the next room, which is a small shower
area with a save point, a medical kit, and a civilian. Go knock out the
civilian. Use the medical kit if you need to and then save your game.

Now, head back into the room where I told you to ignore the guards in there.
Kill both of the guards. Go through the open door that's on the same wall that
you just came from, and go through the door to reach the next area.

Save your game. Go through the next hallway, and take out the guy behind the
drape. Then take a right. A couple of guards should be coming around the next
corner. Toss a flashbang grenade at their feet to disorient them, and then take
them both out with fast-paced melee attacks. There's a room where light is
shining through the windows, and you should run through there. This room will
lead you directly to a crawlspace, and out of sight of an enemy that's
positioned down the hallway. Crawl through it, and then grab the ammo on the
bench in the room on the other side. Save your game.

Hang back a few seconds. An enemy will come in, and take him out from behind.
Jump up onto the platform with the plotted plants. There is a crawlspace in the
wall here. Go through this crawlspace and crawl through the vent until you
reach the grating, allowing you to spy on the conversation between Shetland and
his cronies.

Back out of the vent after the fight goes down. Save your game, and then go
back through the vent you used to enter this room in the first place. Take a
left and go around the corner. Ignore the people that are shooting. They are
shooting at each other, not you. As you run by these guys, you'll come across a
room with a medical kit. USE IT. Then walk through the shower area to reach a
larger shower area with a couple of enemies in it. Kill both of them. Turn
around and use the medical kit again if you need to. If not, walk through the
shower and then open the door and use the save icon.

As you approach the chainlink door, you'll be made aware of the fact that there
ARE BOMBS READY TO EXPLODE! Ah! Climb the fence and run down the stairs to
approach the first bomb. You'll know how to find it because it blinks
bright red. To defuse the bomb, just interact with it like you interact with
anything else, by using the touch-screen. With this bomb defused, walk up the
stairs. There's an enemy nearby, so be sure to shoot him before he can kill
you. Climb down the ladder and defuse the second bomb.

Climb back up the ladderand be VERY cautious. This section is the hardest part
of the game, easily. There is another enemy that will start patrolling. You
HAVE to shoot him beforehe even sees you. Because if this guy sees you,
you're essentially dead, and then you have to defuse the two bombs that
you've already defused again! So, after this guy is dead, take care of the
final bomb. Shetland will run through a nearby door as you defuse the bomb.

With the third bomb defused, follow Shetland. Watch the scene, and when the
game gives you control again, tap the right trigger to send Shetland falling
through a window to his death. "You're right...I wouldn't shoot an old friend."

Touching.

Stay under the structure that you start the level under. Hug the wall and make
your way to the door. In this mission, you CAN'T KILL ANYBODY, so don't even
think about it! If you step out from under this structure and the red light
spots you, Sam will be destroyed by a drone. So, make your way to the door. It
happens to be locked, so pick the lock. Stealthily open the door. There's a
couple of gentleman standing and talking to each other. One behind a fence.
Don't make any noise, but climb the chainlink fence and then drop down on the
other side. If you stay in the dark, you will be fine. Save in the floating
save icon in the next room over.

Head down the hallway adjacent to the save room, and go through the door. Climb
up the ladder, and then enter the crawlspace. Go through the crawlspace. You'll
notice feet in the stall, so quietly exit the bathroom as to not alert the
guard using it. There should be a save point in the next room. Use it.

You'll first encounter a soldier standing. Wait for him to walk away, and then
follow him closely. Knock his ass out from behind and then access the computer
at the desk. Hack it. By accessing the information, you'll obtain an access
code. Use the spinning floating save icon to the left to save your game.

Another soldier will start coming down the stairs. Wait for a good opportunity,
then strike with a non-lethal melee attack! Remember, KILL NO ONE. Head up the
stairs and when you reach the top, go to the right. There's a brightly-colored
painting on the wall. Walk towards it. Then stealthily open the door to the
left of it. You'll see an enemy walk into a room down the hallway. Slowly
follow him. When you get in this room, knock the guard out from behind, talk
to the prisoners he was guarding, and then save the game.

Head back out into the hallway. Make your way back to the large staircase.
Those electronic doors at the bottom are now accessible. Head down the stairs,
then take out the guard you see down there before he causes any trouble. Walk
through the doors and then head to the next door to reach the next level!

Save the game and then go down the conveyor belt. Sam will get knocked out.

When you wake up, Sam will be tied to a chair, about to get tortured. Pick the
lock. You'll have to listen to the sound of the lock. Hopefully you remember
what it sounds like from all the times you've picked door locks. When you get
free from your cuffs, slowly approach your assailant. Grab him, interrogate
him, and then knock him out.

Quietly approach the door. Choose the "bash" option to send the guard standing
in front of it flying across the room. Use the medical kit to replenish your
health and then grab the ammo off of the computer desk. Sam's equipment is
stashed in a corner by the shelf, so suit him up. When that's taken care of,
go to the save icon and save your progress so far.

Pick the lock on the door and walk into the hallway. At the far end of the
hallway is a door with a keypad on it. Hack it. It is very likely that if you
take too long trying to hack it, a dude will open the door and start shooting
a pistol in your face. Quickly take him out with a non-lethal melee attack if
this happens. If you manage to successfully hack the keypad, sneak up on the
man in the room and then grab him from behind. Force him over to the retinal
scanner. If you were forced to knock him out earlier, then you'll just have to
hack the scanner. When this is done, a bunch of pretty, Christmas-tree like
computers rise from the floor. The computer in the middle row on the far right
is the one you need to mess with to unlock the war room doors, so do so. Then
backtrack to the save room where you grabbed Sam's equipment, heal if need be,
and then save.

Now exit the room again, but this time take a left. There are two doors that
will open automatically. Go through the first door, and then walk close to the
second door so it opens. Use the camera to check out the guards. Wait for them
to walk out of view. Then hug the wall on the right as you go up the stairs.
Chuck a flashbang grenade at their feet (they're in the very first hallway you
come across at the top of the stairs), and then after it goes off, rush them,
and take them out with non-lethal melee strikes. There's a big door with a
symbol on it. Go through the door (it will open automatically). Walk to the
left, and pause as you turn the corner. There will be two guards in the
distance. Throw a flashbang grenade to blind them, and then move in close to
take them down. Save.

If you look up, there are ledges to jump up and grab. Grab one, and then enter
the crawlspace in the wall. Crawl through to the vent on the other side. Watch
them have their conversation. When they are done talking, you'll be given an
order to tap into the General's laptop. It's the only laptop visible. Use your
scanner to remotely access the laptop and tap it. Then backpedal out of the
vent. Drop down and save your game yet again.

Make your way back through the big concrete door. There's an enemey out here,
but sprint past him into the open elevator. Use the elevator to reach the lower
levels.

AH. Kokubo Sosho: Lower Levels

After the power to the elevator has been cut, shimmy across until Sam is
positioned right above a trio of ledges. Drop all the way down to the save icon
on the floor. Save your game.

This part is especially difficult. There are two guards working on a door, and
there is a guard that will walk back and forth in front of you. Not to mention
that there is a ton of light everywhere. Take care of the guard in front of you
by waiting for him to walk by and then jump up on the ledge he's walk on. Sneak
in real close and take him out from behind. You can kill people now, by the
way. After this guy is dealth with, quickly, BUT QUIETLY, make your way to the
shadows in the corner. The two guys at the door will turn their attention
elsewhere. One will walk away. Use this opportunity to kill the other one from
behind and then head through the doors. Crouch and walk slowly under the green
lasers.

In the next room, climb over the railing that's immediately to your right. Walk
silently until you reach stairs, and then kill the guard from behind that's
hiding behind the barrier. Then turn your attention to the computer with the
big words over it. Apply bombs to it and then detonate it. A couple of bad guys
will come out of the door. Take them out. Head through the way they came out of
to initiate a cut-scene.

After the scene, turn around and hang a left through a door with a bunch of
computer servers in the room. There's an open vent on the floor. Follow the
vent to reach the body. Pick the body up and then walk over to a window that is
keeping the ocean from spilling through. Don't let the window do its job. Place
a charge on the window and then back away. Detonate it. Congratulations. You
win!
