0. Character Line Test [chlntst]
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
The mysterious section 0, where nothing comes back and nothing is truly
gained from reading it or anything within...
..anyways, for the sole purpose of ensuring the maximum satisfactory of this
guide and some of its inner-workings, you will need to make sure that all of
the dots and lines match up perfectly with each number below and above them,
respectively. If they do not, you may need to change to a font that does, or
you may not get the full experience that this guide was intended to give to
the reader:
If you are sure that these dots and lines are matching up with the numbers,
then you may continue safely reading this guide without worries. If not, then
as mentioned above, I would recommend swapping to a font in which it does, for
your own satisfaction to be guaranteed. This test is desgined to ensure that
tables and charts produced later in the Guide are rendered exactly as they
were meant to appear, so if they are not aligned, then tables and charts may
not be aligned properly as well.

2. Equip Effects List [eqefli]
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
In this section of the Guide, I shall list all the known effects of equips that
are present when wearing the equip items of note. If you feel a description is
off, or incorrect, please let me know posthaste!
Effect Name | Effect Description
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stat +# | Raises a particular stat by the number shown (such as Attack
| and Defense, etc.). Evade may have a cap of 50 like it was
| in Denpa Men 2, but this is not confirmed, as the best evade
| increasing equip (Jeweled Shoes, at +25 Evade) on the
| highest natural evade stat possible (18) does not appear to
| cap it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Element Def +# | Increases the character's resistance to a particular
| elemental attack type in battle. This effect stacks
| additively, to a max of +9.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All Element | Increases the character's resistance to all elemental damage
Def +# | types in the game. This effect applies the same as above.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ailment Def +# | Increases the character's resistance to a particular
| ailment, like Poison, Freeze, Charm, etc. The higher the
| resistance number, the less likely the character will be
| effected, with a max modifier of +9, where the character
| is then immune to that ailment.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All Def +# | Increases the character's resistance to all ailments in the
| game. This effect applies the same as above.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Experience Up x# | Increases the EXP the character wearing it earns; this
| effect stacks multiplicatively, and there is no apparent
| limit to the modifier (with best gear on, it is 8.1x).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Extra Gold x# | Increases the Gold dropped in battle from enemies; this
| effect stacks multiplicatively, from all characters'
| modifiers, up to a limit of 20x. Using a Gold x# skill from
| a Denpa's antenna skill will have no effect if the max
| modifier is already reached.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drop Rate x# | Increases the rate that Treasure drops from battles; this
| effect stacks multiplicatively, from all characters'
| modifiers, up to a limit of 5x. Using a Treasure x# skill
| from a Denpa's antenna skill will have no effect if the max
| modifier is already reached.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rare Drop | Increases the rate that Rare Treasure drops from battles;
Rate x# | this effect stacks multiplicatively, from all characters'
| modifiers, up to a limit of 10x. Using a Rare Treasure x#
| skill from a Denpa's antenna skill will have no effect if
| the max modifier is already reached.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ultra Rare Drop | Increases the rate that Ultra Rare Treasure drops from
Rate x# | battles; this effect stacks multiplicatively, from all
| characters' modifiers, up to a limit of 50x.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Catch Rate Up x# | Increases the success rate of the Catch Skill used by the
| Denpa wearing the gear only. The effect stacks
| multiplicatively, to no known max value [with best gear on,
| the value is 22.9x].
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Critical Rate | Increases the chances of the user's physical attacks
Up +#% | becoming Critical Hits to the percentage listed. It is not
| known if the effect stacks, as only Arm Gear give this
| effect.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP Auto #% | Heals your HP by the percentage listed by the equips at the
| end of every turn in battle that the character is not
| incapacitated [Freeze, Paralyze, KO, etc. will prevent the
| regeneration effect]; this effect stacks additively, to a
| limit of 25%. You will also regenerate 1 HP every second the
| character walks in dungeons or on the overworld, but not on
| the ocean.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AP Auto # | Heals your AP by the amount listed by the equips at the end
| of every turn in battle that the character is not
| incapacitated [Freeze, Paralyze, KO, etc. will prevent the
| regeneration effect]; this effect stacks additively, to a
| limit of 25 [with best equips; there may not be a limit
| otherwise]. You will also regenerate 1 AP every second the
| character walks in dungeons or on the overworld, but not on
| the ocean.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Save AP #% | Decreases the AP cost of the user's antenna skill by the
| amount listed. This effect stacks multiplicatively, to a
| maximum decrease to 60% [with best gear on].
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Run +#% | Increases the success rate of your Run Away command. The
| effect stacks additively, from all characters' modifiers,
| to a max of +100%.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP Recovery Up x#| Increases the amount of HP healed to the party by the
| character wearing the gear only. The effect stacks
| multiplicatively, to no known max value [with best gear on,
| the modifier is 4.5x].
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Damage Up x# | Increases the damage of the user's physical attacks against
| the opponent(s). This stacks multiplicatively, to a max
| modifier of x6 [with best gear on].
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elemental Target | Increases the likelihood that the character with this
| effect is the target for attacks of that element type.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Target | Increases the likelihood that the character with this effect
| is the target for attacks of all types, including physical.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Float | Prevents the user from taking any damage from poisoned
| floors, as well as preventing all effects from ground-based
| Earth magic (rock-based Earth magic can still affect the
| user).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No Floor Damage | Prevents the user from taking any damage from poisoned
| floors.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reflect | Reflects the effects of magic and ailment attacks used
| against the equipped Denpa. This effect can be bypassed by
| Denpa with the effect "Shieldbreaker".
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sharp | Prevents all attacks from the equipped user from missing the
| opponent; if the character is Excited, you will deal 1
| damage when you would have missed by the effects of Excite.
| The effect of Sharp allows the user to hit Ghost opponents,
| but for only 1 damage if the user does not have Ghostbuster.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Exc [Excite] | Causes all attacks from the user to deal Critical Hits, but
| renders their accuracy halved.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ghost | Causes the equipped Denpa to have the effect of "Ghost",
| rendering them immune to all physical attacks. The effect
| of "Sharp" will make attacks still deal 1 damage to Ghost
| users, and the effect "Ghostbuster", as well as the item
| Holy Water, will allow physical attacks to bypass Ghost.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ghostbuster | Allows physical attacks to bypass the effects of Ghost
| effect. The effect "Ghostbuster 2," given by the "Stone
| Statue" Back equip, causes the physical attacks of the user
| to deal double damage to Ghost opponents.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shieldbuster | Allows the equipped user to bypass all shielding effects on
| the opponent, such as Invincible and Reflect. This effect
| was called "Pierce" in previous Denpa Men titles.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Attack Up +1 | Allows the user to make an immediate follow-up attack on the
| opponent targetted by a physical attack from the user. This
| effect stacks additively to no known limit [the max effect
| from all equip types with Attack Up is +3].
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#persAtk | Allows the user's physical attacks to attack the targetted
| foe and a number of foes directly next to the original
| target. 3persAtk deals half damage to enemies directly next
| to the target, and 5persAtk deals half damage to opponents
| next to the target, as well as 1/4 damage to enemies
| directly next to those enemies from the original target.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Skill Twice | Allows the user to cast their antenna skill twice in
| succession. Does not stack with other gear of the same
| effect.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HP Absorb | Allows the user to regenerate an amount of HP relative to
| the damage they deal to the opponent(s) with a physical
| attack.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Auto Defend | Sometimes causes the user to take reduced damage by
| Defending itself from an opponent's physical attack. This
| effect only works if the user is not using the Defend
| action that turn. This effect appears to have a value
| associated with it, as noticed when equipping multiple gear
| with the effect, but the ability to stack its effect to
| higher "values" is not known. Monster Legs appears to have
| a higher "value" than Robot Legs, for some reason.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thorn | Causes opponents who make a physical attack on the user to
| take damage in accordance to the damage they deal to the
| user (roughly 1/4 to 1/2 or so, I believe).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Counter | Causes the user to sometimes counterattack with a physical
| attack, when they are hit by a physical attack themselves.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guts | Allows the user to sometimes survive an attack that would
| have KO'd them, leaving them with 1 HP remaining. Does not
| work if the user has only 1 HP left.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Snapback | Causes the user's Attack to raise 1 stage when hit with a
| physical attack, up to the maximum of +5.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Harden | Causes the user's Defense to raise 1 stage when hit with a
| physical attack, up to the maximum of +5.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Accelerate | Causes the user's Speed to increase 1 stage at the end of
| every turn, up to the maximum of +5.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Charm | Sometimes causes the opponent to lose their turn by being
| charmed by the user. This effect is stronger the more Denpa
| in your party that have this effect and are not
| incapacitated are in your party. Some enemies are not
| affected by the effects of Charm.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Ailment) Body | Sometimes causes opponents who make a physical attack on
| the user to become afflicted with the ailment listed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Ailment) Attack | Sometimes causes opponents hit by the user's physical
| attacks to become afflicted by the ailment(s) listed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Stat) Down | Sometimes causes the user's physical attacks to lower the
| attacked opponent's stat(s) by 1 stage, to the maximum
| limit of -5.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One Hit Down | Sometimes causes opponents hit by the user's physical
| attacks to become KO'd instantly.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Forge 75% | When the user is low on HP (in the red), the user's
| attacks have a 75% chance of being a Critical Hit.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Protect #% | Allows the user to sometimes take the damage and effects of
| an opponent's attacks, at the rate of the percentage listed,
| in the place of the original target(s). Can also affect
| attacks that target the entire party.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Antenna -1 | Causes the wearer's antenna skill to be downgraded by 1 rank
| (Full Heal becomes Medium Heal, etc.). Has no effect if the
| user has not reached Rank 2 or higher antenna skills.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fixed Damage 4/8 | Causes the user's physical attacks to deal exactly the
| damage listed by the equip [Damage 4 Gloves cause attacks to
| deal 4 damage, and Octopus Arms cause attacks to deal 8
| damage]. This damage value is affected by the effects of
| "Damage Up" modifiers on the user.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unite | Denpa with Unite who make a physical attack after another
| Denpa with Unite makes a physical attack have their damage
| increased. This effect increases in effect the more Denpa
| attack sequentially, one after the other, who have the
| Unite effect.

3. Equip Item Stats List [eqitsl]
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Here is where I list all the equipment in the game, in their order from the
MUSEUM in Digitoll. If you wish to search for a particular equip item, you may
use CTRL + F and input the name of the item to search for it, or by using the
search lister for the equip item's type listed in the Table of Contents.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Equip Name | Effect 1 | Effect 2 | Rarity (Star value,
| | | such as 7*)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heart Choker | Max HP +15 | | 1*
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heart Brooch | Max HP +50 | | 4*
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heart Pendant | Max HP +100 | | 5*
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the format the guide will use for all equips. Shouldn't be too hard to
follow! ...Right?
Well, to be safe, I'm adding this, as I would like for this to remain
untouched elsewhere, and would rather not have to gripe at someone arguing
that I didn't tell them not to take this for their own greedy business and
not give individual credits to the creator (me) and anyone else responsible
in the creation of this Guide, however that may be...
This Guide is to only be used on these sites and ONLY these sites lited below:
www.gamefaqs.com
(and any other site I give permission to later on, which should be added
accordingly, but only if permission is granted)

5. End of Guide [endgde]
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
I just want to take my time here at the end of this to thank each and
every one of you that read and recommend this guide to others! I spent a
great deal of my time working with this series, and it's been a pleasure
every second I've been with it! I hope you all enjoyed this guide, and
maybe even learned a thing or two from it, and that I may be of
assistance to you again in the future, whenever or wherever that may be!
