2. Introduction
===============================================================================

Welcome to the wonderful world/game that is "Project X Zone", where not one,
not two, but THREE companies have lent their characters in one massive
crossover of a game. There's the ever charming devil hunter Dante fighting
alongside vampire Demitri Maximoff, the stoic gynoid KOS-MOS and her
not-so-stoic gynoid "sister" T-elos, tournament fighters Akira and Pai, and
others that aren't playable. From iconic attacks such as X's X-Buster, Kite's
Data Drain, and Ulala's dance moves, expect shout outs, mythology gags, and
continuity nods from almost every angle within the game.

3.1 Game Flow \
===============================================================================

===============================================================================
3.1 Combat Flow
===============================================================================

* Each Pair Unit will have a range of blue squares and yellow squares on the
Field Map. The blue is the Move Range, representing how far a Pair Unit can
move, while yellow is the Attack Range, showing how far they can attack
normally. Some Pair Units have a large Move but a small Attack, some are the
reverse, and then some are right in-between. It's rather tempting to let those
with the larger Move Range to kill all enemies, but that leaves the Units with
smaller Move ranges behind in terms of levels. You can let the high-Move Units
to go pick up item chests and defend when attacked, letting the low-Move Units
to gain the levels.

* For each unit's turn, they can A) move to the closest enemy or item chest, B)
use skills, C) use items to recover HP or remove status effects, D) use a MAP
Attack, or E) do nothing.

* Upon encountering an enemy, the Pair Unit has a limited number of times they
can attack, represented by the small red bar underneath the blue XP bar. Each
time you use an attack, a red slot will disappear. Once all are gone, your turn
ends. The circle icons above the XP bar is the attack, which is performed by
pressing the A button, and a direction on the D-pad. Once an attack has been
selected, it'll black out, but you can still use that attack. If you black out
all icons, you'll be able to attack one more time, shown as "Attack +1", which
is highly recommended. At early chapters/levels, you're limited to being able
to attack 3 times, but as you progress on, you'll be able to get up to a max of
5 slots, allowing you to attack to a max of 6 times.

===============================================================================
3.2 Combat Tips
===============================================================================

* Timing is crucial when attacking the enemy, as it plays in to how much
experience points (EXP) is gained. After the first attack, select the next
attack when the enemy is either falling down or when it bounces back when it's
sent far to the left side of the screen. Basically, keeping the combo hit
going - the higher the combo hit, the more percentage of Cross Points (XP,
more on that later) will be gained, shown on the results screen. Critical Hits
are the best to get, but it definitely depends on timing as you have to attack
the enemy JUST before it touches the ground. If successful, a "Critical" will
pop up and some of the damage numbers will turn yellow.

* Mix and match the Solo Units with the Pair Units. Some combinations will
result in higher Cross Hits, meaning filling the XP gauge faster, or will
affect which skill you'll get to use during the Field Map phase. Some Solo
units' assist will result in causing a status effect on the enemy, so it's
defenitely a good idea.

* Skills! Skills, skills, skills. One cannot just waltz through the entire game
without at least using the skills that every playable unit has, so as long you
have 50% on the Cross guage on most of them. Some have skills that temporarily
increases their attack range, temporarily increase move range, and so forth.
There's also healing, either Estel's Nurse which heals all ally units, or those
that remove status effects from an ally unit. If you think you can breeze
through the chapters without using any skill, think again. Another important
note is that Solo Units also have Skills that can add on to whichever Pair Unit
they're assigned to, or have a Skill that'll affect any ally unit. Mix and
match units depending on the chapter scenario.

* You'll encounter enemies that will have shields, indicated by "Block", a
small green bar just underneath their HP bar. Breaking that is necessary in
order to inflict damage, so it's important to start out with attacks that'll
break their Block quickly. It'll refill over time, so if the enemy lands back
on the ground, you'll have to break it again. There is one advantage for
letting the enemy land - you can occasionally get multiple items, mostly
healing, so it's sometimes a good idea to do so.

5. Chapters
===============================================================================

===============================================================================
5.01 Prologue 1 - The Wanderers (放浪者たち)
                 [Hourousha-tachi]
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: Defeat all enemies
Condition(s) of Defeat: Kogorou & Mii are defeated
Number of enemies: 3x Oros Snake (Oros Serpus)

The obligatory starting prologue, with the obligatory tutorial. Here, you'll
learn how to perform basic attacks, defend/counterattack, use the Limit Break,
as well how to use the Free Cursor mode. So move on over to the closest Oros
Snake and beat it up. The Oros Snakes are pretty easy, so don't worry about
taking too much damage. The healing items they usually drop when defeated will
make up for it, even though you're less likely to use them for a bit in the
early chapters.

===============================================================================
5.02 Prologue 2 - The Place Where the Strong Ones Wait At
                 (強いやつらが待つ場所で)
                 [Tsuyoi Yatsura ga Matsu Basho de]
                 Where the Strong Survive (Eng)
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: Before 1 turn ends, Y-revive Jin
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ All allies defeated
                       2/ Unable to Y-revive Jin within the end of the turn

Never thought you'd have to save badass Kazama Jin, eh? This prologue teaches
on how to revive an ally Unit whose HP has been knocked down to 0. Akira & Pai
will have 100% on the XP bar, so head on over and get Jin back on his feet. If
you go attack the Red Arremars instead, automatic game over, so don't even
think about attacking them. Once you've revived Jin, the conditions change:

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies defeated.
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies defeated.

Now, the tutorial switches to on calling in a Pair Unit to act as a Support
Unit during a Unit's current turn in their Battle Scene. Since it's Jin &
Xiaoyu's turn, try it out with Akira & Pai as Support.

Defeat a Red Arremar, crazy taekwondo user Han Juri shows up, with Ryu and Ken
chasing her. The conditions changes again:

Condition(s) of Victory: Either V-Dural or Juri is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies defeated

While it's tempting to go after Juri as she has less HP than Dural does so as
to fulfill the Victory Conditions, a better idea would be to defeat Dural, as
you'll get a Tiger's Pancake. Juri drops a Kibi Dango, which you can get from
other enemies later on. Just don't forget to take down the Red Arremars for
extra experience before you defeat either Juri or Dural.

===============================================================================
5.03 Prologue 3 - The Swords That Smite Evil (悪を断つ剣たち)
                 [Aku wo Tatsu Tsurugi-tachi]
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Haken & Kaguya is defeated
Number of enemies: 2x Defense Android Alpha (Defense Droid Alpha)

This tutorial is teaching on how to use the Y button on the Field Map to
destroy obstacles, so go right ahead and get rid of those boulders. When the
two Defense Android Alphas have bit the dust, Sanger shows up and he'll join
Haken & Kaguya, letting you learn how to assign Solo Units and calling them in
for attacks during a current Unit's Battle Scene.

Further down the room, three more enemies shows up.

Condition(s) of Victory: Jedah is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Haken & Kaguya is defeated
Number of enemies: Jedah, 2x Q-Bee

The Q-Bees are easily taken down, and Jedah doesn't even bother advancing until
you've defeated both demonic bees. There's several obstacles that can be
destroyed for the random chance of getting an item. Jedah himself is rather
simple to take down, but do consider whether to Block or Counterattack
depending on Haken & Kaguya's HP. Defeat Jedah to get a Gold Orb.

Notes: The chapter title references Sanger's catchphrase of being "the sword
that cleaves/smites evil". Kaguya, being an expy of Sanger, repeats it with her
version.

===============================================================================
5.04 Prologue 4 - Men Whom Devils Fear (悪魔が恐れる男たち)
                 [Akuma ga Osoreru Otoko-tachi]
                 The Man the Devils Fear (Eng)
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: Open up all item chests with Y
Condition(s) of Defeat: Dante & Demitri is defeated
Number of enemies: 2x Kaox (Chaox)

Rather self-explanatory on the Victory Condition. The Kaoxes are pretty much a
joke at this point. The chest right in front of Dante has a Blue Orb, which is
quite nice. The other one, on the other hand...

Condition(s) of Victory: Riemsianne is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Number of enemies: Riemsianne, 2x Succubus, 2x Hell Pride

Not what one would want from opening an item chest...

Riemsianne's still after the Shining Force that's in Touma and Cyrille's care.
Nevertheless, Touma, Cyrille, and Arthur joins up for this half of the stage.
Defeating the Succubi and Hell Prides is definitely recommended for extra
practice on getting more Cross Hits with Solo and Support Units. Once you've
slaughtered the mooks, go after Riemsianne for even more practice, as well
using the Limit Breaks. Riemsianne also demonstrates one more thing: a boss
will either counterattack, or initiate their own attack than hit from one to
four units at a time when they have enough EP on their gauge (the enemy's
equivalent to the XP gauge).

Notes: Both chapter titles references to a line in various "Devil May Cry"
materials on how Dante is known to make even devils cry. However, the Japanese
title has "tachi" after "otoko", indicating more than one man, so a more
accurate translation for the English version would be "The Men the Devils
Fear".

===============================================================================
5.05 Prologue 5 - Revelation of Departed Souls (死霊たちの暴露)
                 [Shiryou-tachi no Bakuro]
                 Dead Re-Rising (Eng)
===============================================================================

Undead, a succubus, an abandoned ship, three government-related investigators,
and a journalist. Three of those things sound rather familiar...

Condition(s) of Victory: Zabel Zarock is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Zabel Zarock, 5x Blue Zombie

Assign Bruno and Busujima to whomever you like. There's five spinning emblems
on the deck, so go over and pick them up. You'll have to destroy several deck
chairs along the way to at least have a clear path around the deck.

Once any one Ally Unit has done an action twice (this is usually into the
second turn) BSAA members Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine enters the stage!
A quick banter of exchanging names, and look who shows up, Mishima Heihachi.
But isn't he supposed to be an older... man?

Well, debate aside if Heihachi had found the Fountain of Youth (courtesy of a
drug here), time to get to assigning. Chris & Jill joins up, as well Heihachi.
Assign Busujima, Bruno, and Heihachi to whomever you like. And a couple of
Ebitans pop out of the pool. Lovely...

Enemies: 4x Ebitan, 5x Ooze

Conditions don't change. Other than the Solo Assist and Support Assist, the
tutorial mentions one more method of attack: MAP Attacks, which lets the Pair
Unit attack from 2 to 4 enemy units at the same time so as long you have 100%
on the Cross Gauge (basically the Multiple Assault from "Namco X Capcom").
Unfortunately, the only Pair Unit that has access to their MAP Attack is Chris
and Jill, while the rest aren't at the right stage (no pun intended) of
performing one just yet.

Not much to it with this chapter. Collect the items, trash the deck, and go
beat up Zabel to clear the stage, the zombies, Ooze, and Ebitan for extra EXP
if desired.

Notes: In a sense, the Japanese chapter title translation puns on "Resident
Evil: Revelations", what with Chris and Jill encountering zombies on a ship out
at sea. The English chapter title references Frank's originating game, "Dead
Rising".

===============================================================================
5.06 Chapter 1 - Welcome to the House of Kouryuuji (黄龍寺家にようこそ)
                [Kouryuuji-ke ni Youkoso]
                Welcome to the Koryuji House (Eng)
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are unable to fight
Enemies: 2x Oros Ape (Oros Primus)

Finally, the first chapter of the game! Time to put some of those tutorials
from the five - well, four - prologues to work!

You start out with just Kogorou & Mii and Chun-Li & Morrigan against two Oros
Apes, which are easily taken care of.

Of course, it wouldn't be that easy. Two more Oros Apes, two familiar
Kamaitachi, and one of the original big bads: Ein Veranos.

Condition(s) of Victory: Ein Veranos is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are unable to fight
Enemies: Ein Veranos, 2x Oros Ape, 2x Blue Kamaitachi

Best to attack the small fry to build up that XP gauge and figure out which
attack can break Shields faster at this stage, so as to be able to lay the
smack down on Ein. Just be careful and try to strategize whether either units
can take the attacks or not, as well heal if necessary. In all honesty, it
shouldn't be that hard of a battle.

Yet.

===============================================================================
5.07 Chapter 2 - The Poison Fang That Thirsts for Battle (闘いに飢えた毒牙)
                [Tatakai ni Ueta Dokuga]
                The Fighting Vipers
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Kogorou & Mii are defeated
Enemeis: 6x Ebitan

Easily taken care of. There's a couple item chests scattered about in the
shape of briefcases, so don't forget to pick them up.

Kill four Ebitan...

Condition(s) of Victory: Drei Veranos is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Kogorou & Mii are unable to fight
Enemeis: Drei Veranos, 2x Oros Snake, 3x Orange Kamaitachi

Wow, big-boned much? And a fellow fighter joins in! Assign Bahn with whomever
you think could use the extra damage-inducing.

Drei can inflict Poison, so be careful on Block/Full Defend as well healing
when necessary. But all in all, not that difficult of a boss fight if you've
been spamming the Support and Solo assists.

Notes: The English chapter title references to Bahn's originating game,
"Fighting Vipers".

5.08 Chapter 3 - Of Tron and of Kobun (トロンにコブンに)
                [Toron ni Kobun ni]
                The Further Misadventures of Tron Bonne (Eng)
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory:  All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Frank & Lei-lei are defeated
Enemies: 5x Goblin Gnosis, 3x Horokko (Reaverbots), 2x Red Horokko, T-elos

Frank & Lei-lei wakes up to... Willamete?! Other than Tron and the Kobun
popping up, we also have Gnosis Goblins and Horokkos. Annnd a not-so-gracious
T-elos who is looking for KOS-MOS. Ruh-roh. Although she was "kind" enough to
activate the Hilbert Effect to fight the Gnosis here.

Tron & the Kobun automatically joins Frank & Lei-lei, but at the moment their
range isn't that far enough, unless you use "Skateboard" to get a bit more
freedom on destroying what few decorations around the fountain.

At the second turn, Kogorou & Mii, Akira & Pai, Chun-Li & Morrigan, and Bahn
shows up. All the way from Roppongi, Japan. There goes them "quakes" again...

Condition(s) of Victory: T-elos is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Kogorou & Mii are unable to fight

Well, this certainly evens the odds a bit. Assign Tron and Bahn to whomever you
like. Just go around beating up the Horokkos and Goblins while picking up the
item briefcases scattered about. Some of the decorations, like the potted
plants, can be destroyed with the Y-button, so go ahead. T-elos can be rather
dangerous, so it's best to heal when necessary.

Notes: The English chapter title refers to the side game that focused on Tron
in the Rockman Dash/Megaman Legends series.

===============================================================================
5.09 Chapter 4 - Arisu of the City of Quakes (ゆらぎの街のアリス)
                [Yurgai no Machi no Arisu]
                Arisu in Wonderland (Eng)
===============================================================================

Oh, hello Saya. Haven't seen you in quite a while. Back to messing up with
dimensions, eh?

And look where the crew winds up in after leaving Willamette. Not Roppongi, but
Shibuya. Poor folks.

Condition(s) of Victory: Saya is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Saya, 4x Tengu, 3x Blue Kamaitachi, 3x Red Kamaitachi, 3x Orange
        Kamaitachi

After the first turn, two familiar agents that deals with the supernatural
joins in - Arisu Reiji and his partner fox Xiaomu. (One would think that she'd
be older than her claimed 765 years of age...)

Condition(s) of Victory: Saya is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Reiji & Xiaomu are defeated
Enemies: Dokugozu, Dokumezu

Item briefcases to pick up and some destroyable light poles aside, Saya's two
hench-demons Dokugozu (Poison Cow Head) and Dokumezu (Poison Horse Head) also
joins in. At this stage, both are fairly easy to handle if you spam using
Support and/or Solo assists. If anything, you can separate the group into two
and have at least one Unit with a Solo. Once you're done picking up everything
and beating up the rest of the mooks, go after Saya. While you could just end
the stage by defeating her, the extra experience is definitely worth it.

Notes: The Japaense chapter title is identical to Prologue 1's in "Namco X
Capcom", where you fought using Reiji & Xiaomu in Shibuya before everything
hits the fan. Reiji even lampshades the whole situation as "one big festival"
after Chun-li gives up an update of them warping from Roppongi to Willamette to
Shibuya, echoing what he said in "NXC". The English chapter tile puns on, of
course, "Alice in Wonderland" due to Reiji's surname being pronounced the same
way Alice is in Japanese.

5.10 Chapter 5 - Those Who Eat Gods (神を喰らう者たち)
                [Kami wo Kurau Mono-tachi]
                The God Eaters (Eng)
===============================================================================

There's a hole... in the building. And for whatever reason, that spits out Soma
& Alisa from their world, and instead of expecting their commanding officer
Lindow, they get... Vashyron? The other units return back, so just have at it.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Soma & Alisa is defeated
Enemies: 4x Orgetail

Take 2 Orgetails down...

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Soma & Alisa is defeated
Enemies: Vajra, 5x Orgetail, 3x Ogetail Daten (Fallen Orgetail), 1x Otakara
        Kaiko (Treasure Mimic), 2x Blood Doll Chainsaw (Mr. Chainsaw), 2x
        Dooru Dekaiko (Dolled-Up Dwellest)

Actually, no change to the conditions but the extra enemies to show up. The
Vajra will be dangerous, as it can MAP Attack, so be careful.

5.11 Chapter 6 - The Banner of Love on the Skyscrapers (摩天楼に愛の御旗を)
                [Matenrou ni Ai no Mihata wo]
                Justice Among the Skyscrapers (Eng)
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: 5x Cocoon Maiden, 3x Orgetail, 4x Zygote, 3x Blood Doll Chainsaw, 2x
        Blood Doll F-Slow (Blood Doll Flame)

Once you go past the shadow of the building to the Units' left (when they first
appear), roughly 4 squares, a giant freaky mutant rabbit going by the name
Ciseaux shows up with a couple Blanches. In response, New York Combat Revue
member Gemini Sunrise and Groupe Fleur de Paris member Erica Fontaine appears
on the scene!

Condition(s) of Victory: Prelude is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Gemini & Erica is defeated
Enemies: Prelude, 2x Blanche

Prelude is Ciseaux's rabbit-mech, so you can either choose to ignore the
remaining mooks and just lay the smackdown on Ciseaux, or go around the map
destroying obstacles/salvaging items and beating up everything else.

Notes: The chapter's Japanese title is an amalgamation of two things. The
"banner of love" (ai no mihata) refers to Sakura Taisen 3's opening song as
sung by the Paris Kagekidan, "Mihata no Moto ni" ("Beneath the Banner"), which
Erica is from. The "matenrou" part is Gemini's line "Matenrou ni... bakyyun!"
("To the skyscrapers... BANG!")

===============================================================================
5.12 Chapter 7 - Dot Hackers (ドットハッカーズ)
                The .hackers (Eng)
===============================================================================

While Vashyron wound up with Soma & Alisa, Lindow wound up with Zephyr &
Leanbelle.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Zephyr & Leanbelle is defeated
Enemies: 2x Treasure Mimic, 4x Blood Doll Chainsaw, 2x Dolled-up Dwellest, 2x
        Bazu Dekaiko (Bazooka Dwellest)

You can destroy the fencing behind Zephyr for a chance of a random item. Pass
just that turn, the rest of the gang comes in and the respective trios reunite,
so you can choose to either keep your current Solo Units' assignment as is, or
rearrange them. Don't forget to pick up the three treasure chests lying amongst
the pews and one that's almost hidden on the left side of Aura's statue.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated

Head towards the front of the church where the bulk of the End of Eternity
enemies are, Kite & Black Rose shows up, and a couple more enemies shows up.
This changes the conditions.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Kite & Black Rose are defeated
Enemies: Skeith, 5x Goblin, 2x Kubikaryuudo (Shielder/Headhunter)

Once there's less than 8 enemy units, Skeith shows up. The conditions don't
change, so it's just basically taking down Skeith as well. Just be wary of the
fact that Skeith is rather dangerous.

Like the majority of most bosses here, Skeith runs away once you take his HP
down to zero. Once he's gone, end chapter.

===============================================================================
5.13 Chapter 8 - The Domain of Dreams (夢の領域)
                [Yume no Ryouiki]
===============================================================================

Poor Ryuu and Ken, lost in a world that is definitely not their own. To their
surprise, a little young miss by the name of Neneko pops up, spouting about how
the world they're in is "mysterious" and is called "The World". Before she can
go further, what seems like a personality shift switches over, introducing
Neito. Neito clarifies that "The World" is a digital world, much to the street
fighters' surprise, and the Faedun might be involved.

Well, speak of them, a bunch of Faedun pops up. Neneko automatically joins Ryuu
& Ken.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Ryu & Ken are defeated
Enemies: 3x Faedun Orb Green (Feydoom Orb Blue), 3x Faedun Prism Red (Feydoom
        Column Red)

Go ahead and attack the closest Faedun. End the first turn, Kite winds up
bringing the gang to the bridge as well. That prompts in more Faedun and some
enemies that aren't Faedun, changing the conditions briefly...

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: 5x Shielder, 2x Oni Guso Goiru (Fiend Menhir), 3x Faedun Prism Red

Keep on attacking. Destroy enough enemies where it's less than 10, Ein and Drei
shows up with reinforcements.

Condition(s) of Victory: Either Ein or Drei is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Ein Veranos, Drei Veranos, 4x Oros Ape, 4x Oros Snake

Take your pick on defeating the two brothers. Ein drops a Rose Gist L if you're
an XP user, while Drei drops a First-Aid Spray for those that love their HP.
Just don't forget the destroyable obstacles and item chests lying about.

5.14 Chapter 9 - To Scatter Evil, to Exemplify Justice

                [Aku wo Kechirashi, Seigi wo Shimasu]
                Justice Over Evil (Eng)
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Kogorou & Mii are defeated
Enemies: Dwei Frabellum, 3x Oros Ape, 3x Oros Snake, 2x Oros Avius, 12x Kouma
        Kagizume, 6x Kouma Sandan

Meet Dwei Frabellum, the third member of Oros Prox (or Oros Phlox in the
English releases). Take out a couple of the Kouma, more enemies appear and the
barricades lower down. But you also get your own reinforcement in the form
of...

Ohgami Ichirou and Shinguuji Sakura of the Imperial Floral Assault Troop,
arrived!

Condition(s) of Victory: Aya-me is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Ohgami & Sakura are defeated
                       2/ Kogorou & Mii are defeated
Enemies: Aya-me, 4x Kouma Sandan

Considering you have Dwei and Aya-me within vicinity of each other performing a
pincher move on your units closest to the Imperial Theatre, it's dangerous to
have too many of your units grouped closely together. So try to keep your units
spread out just a bit - the flipside is that when the bosses or mooks perform
their multi or MAP attacks, it won't cause as much damage to your units
individually.

If you really want the EXP, save Aya-me to be defeated last.

Notes: "Sakura Taisen" fans will recognize the Japanese chapter title as a line
from the opening song "Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan" that has been used in various
titles of the series primarily involving the Japanese branch.

5.15 Chapter 10 - The Youthful Iron Fist King (若かりし鉄拳王)
                 [Wakakarishi Tekken-Ou]
                 The King of Iron Fist (Eng)
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Dante & Demitri is defeated
                       2/ Frank & Lei-lei is defeated
Enemies: Zabel Zarock, Mishima Heihachi, 4x Blue Zombie, 4x Red Zombie, 4x
        Arremer, 4x Succubus, 4x Medusa

Well! This is certainly a surprise. Instead of the Imperial Theatre's lobby,
the gang winds up in the main hall of Demitri's castle. And Heihachi's hanging
out, mooching on Demitri's dinner table.

Of course, things can't be this easy. Zabel Zarock invites himself with his
mooks, so just send out your units to take care of him on the second floor and
the other half towards the batch surrounding Heihachi (who is an enemy unit in
this chapter). Just don't forget the six treasure chests lying about.

Once you're down to 15 enemies, or Heihachi/Zabel's HP is down to less than
half...

Condition(s) of Victory: Jedah is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Dante & Demitri is defeated
                       2/ Frank & Lei-lei is defeated
Enemies: Jedah, 4x Q-Bee, 4x Hell Pride, 2x Hell Wrath

Who else but Jedah to appear on Demitri's throne. At least Dante tells him off
for talking more than he does.

Conditions don't change, but the monsters that Jedah brings with him are a
touch more tougher than the earlier bunch. He himself is no slouch, so be
careful. Recommended that you save Jedah for last because the extra EXP is
definitely worth it. By this point, Chun-Li & Morrigan should've learned their
V+A attack, Focusing Attack & Finishing Shower, an excellent Block breaker for
them.

Notes: Dante telling off Jedah on not liking those that talk more than he
(Dante) does is a direct reference from DMC3 when Dante first meets Jester.

===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Reiji & Xiaomu is defeated
                       2/ Akira & Pai is defeated
Enemies: Aku Tengu,

Have one member of each half of your team reach street level, the second part
of this stage kicks in. Yuri comes in with Dural, and a new... toy. Meet Alisa
Bosconovitch, whose surname Heihachi recognizes and instantly outs her as not
being human, as well being a new boss to fight. A bunch of robots shows up as
well from the Cross Gate, plus a certain "black ghost", Gespent Phantom. Haken
& Kaguya joins your side after requesting a bit of help on taking care of
Phantom.

Condition(s) of Victory: Phandom is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Haken & Kaguya is defeated
                       2/ Akira & Pai is defeated
Enemies: Yuri, Dural, Alisa Bosconovitch, Gespent Phantom

It's a good idea to use Sakura's Dedication skill for an extra 20% EXP, as
there's another Skill that is extremely useful in later chapters.

                 Fury Sparks (Eng)
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: Sanger is defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Yuri & Estelle is defeated
Enemies: Sanger Zanvolt

Well! This is rather interesting. Sanger will deliver quite a bit of damage to
Yuri & Estelle here, so heal up. Don't worry about using up all your Restore
Pills, as you'll get them again as things progress onwards. Beat Sanger down to
almost 25% of his HP, he'll join up. Because a BUNCH of Cocoon Maidens and
Fallen Cocoon Maidens shows up.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Yuri & Estelle is defeated
Enemies: 5x Cocoon Maiden, 5x Fallen Cocoon Maiden

Take the closest Coccon Maiden down...

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: 1x Vajra, 5x Hysteric Purple, 2x Gattuso, 4x Orgetail, 3x Fallen
        Orgetail

More show up. Be careful with your units around the Vajra, as this one has
gotten stronger. Frank & Hsien-ko should've learned their MAP Attack Tenraiha
by now, so you can use it when necessary.

Take down enough enemies, reinforcements shows up in the form of Necron,
Omicron, Eins, Dokumezu, and their backup.

Condition(s) of Victory: Defeat either Dokumezu or Eins Veranos
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Eins Veranos, Dokumezu, Necron, Omicon, Tengu,

By this point, Ryu & Ken will have reached level 15, letting them learn Shinkuu
Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku & Shoryuken EX, which will punch through barriers like
Chun-Li's Focus Attack. Dante & Demitri should also reach level 16, in which
they'll learn Stinger & Demon Billion.

You COULD defeat both Eins and Dokumezu. All you have to do is to lure both of
them close enough for Frank & Hsien-ko to whip out their MAP Attack.

Notes: Both chapter titles refers to "Fury Sparks", Flynn's theme from "Tales
of Vesperia".

If you've been spamming Sakura's "earn 20% more EXP" skill at every
opportunity, then you'll have Ohgami & Sakura by level 19, letting them learn
Captain Command: Wind, that gives +2 to all Allies' Move Range. This is a VERY
important skill later on. Yuri & Estelle will have also at least reached level
19, letting Estelle learn Nurse, a handy multi-unit healing Skill.

Notes: Both chapter titles refers to Valkyrie's originating game, "Valkyrie no
Bouken".

5.19 Chapter 14 - The Eternal Worthy Opponent (永遠の好敵手)
                 [Eien no Koutekishu]
                 Eternal Rivals (Eng)
===============================================================================

Poor Flynn, having to deal with Devilotte. And while Riela recognizes the
place, Kurt's not to keen on the place as it feels wrong. Much like how
Willamette was to Frank. What isn't also helping is that half the party is
missing again.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: 1x Shielder, 5x Mettaur C-15

Reassign your units. There's three treasure chests to pick up, and don't forget
to destroy the sandbags to clear up some moving space and the chance for an
item.

One of Flynn's most useful skills is "Marching Orders", adding +2 to all
allies' Move Range at the cost of 50% XP, identical to Ohgami & Sakura's "Wind"
Skill. Flynn's "Ideal Captain" Autoskill on a 30% chance of another Support
Attack comes in handy if you have a Support Unit nearby.

End the first turn and move a unit forward, Ciseaux shows up. With several
Blanches and enemies that Flynn recognizes, not to mention a good amount of
Faedun alongside the Adephagos. Time to see if you can't make a rabbit stew out
of Ciseaux yet.

Enemies: 1x Prelude, 4x Outbreaker, 4x Faedun (blue orb), 4x Faedun (red
        prism), 6x Hammer Golem, 2x Jaune, 4x Blanche, 3x Mettaur C-15

Well, three more Mettaurs. Conditions don't change, so get to work.

Condition(s) of Victory: Arrive at the "Great Door"
Condition(s) of Defeat: Jin & Xiaoyu is defeated
Enemies: 3x Red Arremar, 2x Red Arremar Ace, 4x Zombie (Blue), 9x Zombie (Red)

You start out with Jin & Xiaoyu, having gained a couple levels in the interim.
Go ahead and start beating up a couple zombies in your way. Take down about 6
enemy units, Batsu shows up on the scene. ...all the way from meeting Bahn in
Roppongi. Looks like he's not the only one who got dragged along by the
"quakes".

Half the gang shows up on a dilapidated building near Jin & Xiaoyu - Reiji &
Xiaomu, Soma & Alisa, Dante & Demitri, Kogorou & Mii, Ichirou & Sakura, Akira &
Pai, and Kite & Black Rose. Arthur notes that they need a key in order to get
past the Great Door. And more enemies show up.

Condition(s) of Victory: Arrive at the "Great Door"
Condition(s) of Defeat: Kite & Black Rose are defeated
Enemies: Red Arremar (White), 8x Zombie (Purple)

Go ahead and assign Batsu to whomever you like. There are a lot of baskets and
various other objects that can be destroyed with Y to get items, so it's best
to switch to Free Cursor mode and look around to get an idea of where they are.
See the occasional blinking red icons scattered about? Destroy it with Y for
the random chance of getting an item (or just to clear the way). Don't forget
the treasure chests lying about. One is actually hidden out of sight just
around the corner of the building where half the crew showed up on.

After killing a couple enemies, the rest of the gang shows up near the middle-
left part of the map - Yuri & Estelle, Gemini & Erica, Kurt & Riela, Haken &
Kaguy, Frank & Lei-lei, Chun-li & Morrigon, Ryu & Ken, and Zephyr & Leanne.

Unfortunately, goblins from the .hack world show up: Stehoney, his copies
Stehoney R for "Racing", Stehoney T for "Turbo", and Stehoney X. And they have
the key that's needed to get past the Great Door. To add on to the troubles,
Drei shows up with his crew, Dokugozu and his gang as well, not to mention
Skeith with more .hack enemies.

Condition(s) of Victory: Defeat all of Stehoney's group before they reach the
                        Great Door
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Kite & Black Rose is defeated
                       2/ Any one of Stehany's copies reaches the Great Door
Enemies: Stehoney, Stehoney R, Stehoney T, Stehoney X, Dokugozu, Drei Veranos,
        5x Oros Snake, 4x Oros Gorudo, 3x Goblin, 2x Headhunter, 3x
        Onigusogoil (Goil Menhir), 2x Blue Kamaitachi, 3x Red Kamaitachi,
        3x Orange Kamaitachi, Bakuya Kai, Skeith

This turns into one of the more annoying stages - for now! - if you don't
bother using skills. As the Conditions state, other than making sure Kite &
Black Rose aren't KOed, you MUST defeat Stehoney and his copies before ANY OF
THEM reaches the Great Door with the key that you need. If just ONE gets there,
it's automatic game over. What makes this mission difficult is that the
Stehoneys have a RIDICULOUSLY LARGE move range at this point, easily
outstripping even units with the largest move range. So, what to do?

Assign Flynn to Zephyr & Leanbell, the rest of your Solo Units to whomever you
see fit, although Arthur or Tron to Haken & Kaguya isn't that bad an idea. Some
units have incredible Attack Range or Skills to boost that, but the true king
of Skills in this stage - or rather, kings AND queen - is Flynn and Ohgami &
Sakura's +2 Move skills to ALL ALLY UNITS, so SPAM the heck out of that. While
each costs 50% XP, you'll be attacking along the way, so you'll be refilling
the Cross Gauge almost constantly.

The reason for Flynn with Zephyr & Leanbell is because at this point, Zephyr
has the highest speed out of your ally units, so he'll usually go first at the
next turn, so you can cast Flynn's +2 Move early on. Ohgami's Captain Command
is a back-up since you can actually stack the +2 Moves. Haken's +1 Attack Range
can easily wipe out the Stehoneys, to cover the extra range if he's not close
enough. Tron's +1 Support Attack can add on to the damage if there's any nearby
Pair Units to Haken, whereas Arthur has +1 Solo Attack for you to summon him
twice. Vashyron also have a +1 Support Attack and +1 Attack Range, so he'll go
well with units that are closes to Haken, like Gemini. Try to at least have
100% on the Cross Gauge and at least another Pair Unit nearby if you catch up
to a Stehoney to really pour on the damage.

Once you have defeated all four of Stehoneys, the Conditions change again.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are unable to fight

Now that's a breather. Just mop up the remaining enemy units still left hanging
about, but not until you pick up every leftover chest and/or destroyed every
destroyable object.

===============================================================================
5.22 Chapter 17 - Operation Crackdown (オペレーション・クラックダウン)
===============================================================================

Lovely decor. Other than six rather ugly statues of horned devils, Kurt and
Riela recognize a comrade from their unit - "Ace Number One" Imca. Like Lady
and Arthur before her, she's having trouble moving about. And Kurt has a great
idea on dealing the statues that involves explosive

Condition(s) of Victory: 1/ Talk to Imca within 15 turns using A
                        2/ Wait next to all 5 statues within 15 turns using B
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Jin & Xiaoyu is defeated
                       3/ Kurt & Riela is defeated
                       2/ Failure to accomplish objectives within 15 turns

Talking to Imca is easily done with any units that have either high Move, or
can increase their Move range. She'll join up as a Solo Unit, so assign her to
whomever you like. Imca has a 30% chance of being able to be called in again,
the opposite of Flynn's Auto Skill having 50% chance of letting you call in a
Support Unit again.

Once you've gotten Imca...

Condition(s) of Victory: Wait next to all 5 statues within 15 turns using B
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Jin & Xiaoyu is defeated
                       3/ Kurt & Riela is defeated
                       2/ Failure to accomplish objectives within 15 turns

Not that much change to the conditions. There are 5 statues situated on the
Field Map - one in the upper left corner, one in the upper right corner, one
slightly in the middle left side, one slightly in the middle right side, and
the large one right in the center at the bottom of the map where your units
start out at.

Two ways to get through this.

Option A: Have a unit wait at each statue. And by wait, it means stand NEXT to
the statue, B button to end that Unit's turn. The +2 Move skills will be useful
on getting your units to the statues. Once all 5 statues have been destroyed,
all the enemies will leave, including the bosses. That's only if you don't
want the extra EXP.

Option B: Slaughter all the enemy units, while leaving one statue untouched.
This is actually feasible when spamming the +2 Move skills, and any skills that
increase the Attack range or are +1 to Solo/Support Attack. Leaving a Unit
within a space to one statue is just in case you can't defeat the bosses before
all 15 turns are up.

In a sense, 15 turns to win this entire stage is somewhat generous, even with
the number of enemies.

Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are unable to fight

KOS-MOS, T-elos, AND Alisa (not the other Alisa)! Not bad to add onto the team.
As there are two Alisas, the one partnered with Soma will be referred to as
"GE-Alisa", while the one from Tekken will be "TK-Alisa".

Notes: "Xenosaga" fans will get the chapter title immediately. For those that
don't know the Xenosaga series, the title references "Xenosaga Episode III:
Also sprach Zarathustra", or "Thus spoke Zarathustra".

5.25 Chapter 20 - Irregular Hunter (イレギュラー・ハンター)
                 The Maverick Hunters (Eng)
===============================================================================

Welcome to the world (pun intended) that is Cyberspace! Half the team winds up
on one side - Kogoro, Frank, KOS-MOS, Jin, Ryuu, Ohgami, Soma, Touma and
Akira. The rest winds up on the other side of the map - Dante, Chun-li, Yuri,
Gemini, Reiji, Haken, Zephyr, Kite, and Kurt.

Great, Ciseaux comes in and is pretty much threatening Aura, so time to teach
that lagomorph a lesson.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Kite & Black Rose is defeated
Enemies: Skeith, Ciseaux, Headhunter, Goil Menhir, Menhir, Horokko, Red
        Horokko, Metool, Goblin

Considering the stage's environment with the ramps, it's a good idea to use
Ohgami & Sakura/Flynn's +2 Move to be able to move around more easily.
Increasing a Unit's Attack Range is also a good idea as well.

See the yellow balls (keep those jokes to yourselves, dear readers)
occasionally sparking electricity and what looks like a red "eye" from "Megaman
X4"? Destroy them to clear up the path (as well the chance to obtain items).
Several other objects scattered about also result in item drops.

Pass the first turn, members of the Oros Prox crew shows up, alongside Dwei.
And a new/old enemy shows: VAVA!

Of course, who else shows up? X and Zero, our favorite Irregular Hunters.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Kite & Black Rose is defeated
                       2/ X & Zero is defeated
Enemies: VAVA, Dwei,

Wow, the enemy units just keep on piling up. Just don't forget the items
scattered about, the E-Tank in praticular behind Due.

===============================================================================
5.26 Chapter 21 - The House of the Dead (ザ・ハウス・オブ・ザ・デッド)
===============================================================================

Hey, back to Chris, Jill, and Busujima! And Busujima doesn't have fond memories
of the mansion they're in front of. Or, rather, the mansion that LOOKS like one
he had entered before. And he's not the only one who isn't keen on the locale,
as both Chris and Jill are savvy enough on foregoing any notion of entering
mysterious creepy mansions in the middle of a stormy night.

Hey, isn't that Aura? Didn't we just see you elsewhere? Oh, wait, a segment of
Aura.

Nonetheless, a whole bunch of Ebitans and Oozes pops right out of the well/pool
near our trio of undead-slayers. Time to break out the lead.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Chris & Jill is defeated
Enemies: Ebitan, Ooze

These guys are relatively easy to fight, and you can more often than not KO
them via counterattack with Busujima's help. You'll be pretty much regaining
what XP you spent on counterattacking. Plus, they don't really deal that much
damage to warrant any healing for the time being.

Past the first turn, a third of the crew arrives from Cyberspace.
Unfortunately, so does a couple Faeduns, which doesn't bode well for this
segment of Aura. To add onto everyone's troubles...

Say hello to Nemesis, Jill's old, well, nemesis. And considering this stage is
practically feeling undead, what's an additional group of zombies to them?
Other than Zabel joining in on the "fun".

Condition(s) of Victory: Have Kite talk to Aura with the A-button within 15
                        turns
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Kite & Black Rose are defeated
                       2/ Fail to get to Aura within 15 turns
Enemies: Nemesis T-Type, Zabel Zarock, Zombie, Ooze, Faedun

Assign your Solo Units. Whoever has Flynn assigned to (hopefully someone with
the highest SPD), cast his +2 Move so you can get Kite & Black Rose to Aura a
little more easily, despite the layout of the stage. Or you can just assign
Flynn to Kite & Black Rose so they'll be able to cast the +2 Move and use the
extra move range. You can bust down the gates with the Y-button, so don't
forget to open up the item boxes and break open everything else that's
destroyable. Just be careful of Nemesis, who's occupying the most direct route.
Sending someone with a MAP attack alongside Kite & Black Rose is a pretty good
tactic as well, as they'll help clear out a path much quicker. Just make sure
not to have any Units blocking Kite's path to Aura.

Once Kite gets to Aura, she disappears into safety. Finally, this stage is don-

..more zombies.

Well, time to earn that overtime EXP.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Ebitan, Hedrin

Just mow down the rest and pick up any leftover item boxes/destroyable
obstacles.

Notes: While no characters from the main "The House of the Dead" series shows
up, Busujima represents the series in that "Zombie Revenge" was a beat-em-up
spin-off/side-story of it on the arcades and Dreamcast. Speaking of title
names, Zabel even boasts of a "zombie's revenge" to Busujima.

===============================================================================
5.27 Chapter 22 - God, Human, and Demon (神と、人と、そして魔と)
                 [Kami to, Hito to, soshite Ma to]
                 God, Man, and Demon (Eng)
===============================================================================

Another segment of Aura to rescue, this time from Riemsanne. Assign TK-Alisa to
Ohgami. And poor Bruno pissed off a bunch of Aragami.

Condition(s) of Victory: Have KOS-MOS talk to Aura with the A-button within 15
                        turns
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ KOS-MOS & T-elos are defeated
                       2/ Fail to get to Aura within 15 turns
Enemies: Riemsianne, 2x Orgetail, 3x Cocoon Maiden, 4x Inobuta (Boar), 3x
        Large Boar, 5x Old Bermuda Gang, 1x High Bermuda Gang

Ohgami & Sakura's Wind skill comes in handy due to the map's layout and how far
you start out from Aura, but do still plan wisely on getting KOS-MOS to Aura
within the 15-turn limit. Definitely use KOS-MOS & T-Elos' Boost and
TK-Alisa's Clock Up skills to get a leg up on speed whenever there's XP to
spare as well, plus equipping them with accessories that increase their speed.

The reason for TK-Alisa's Clock Up is that Ohgami & Sakura's speed is rather
slow (even with speed-boosting accessories), so having them be first allows
them to re-cast Wind on the following turns. In short, try to avoid messing
around too much on the way when it's KOS-MOS & T-Elos's turn, and don't forget
to renew Ohgami's Wind. As usual, there's going to be obstacles that can be
trashed and sparkly spots on the ground with items to be salvaged. For the
moment, just pick up/destroy anything that's along the way. On other units, try
to position them so they won't block KOS-MOS & T-Elos, especially when near
Aura, just like with Kite. Be a bit careful when passing by Riemsianne near the
center. 15 turns is somewhat still generous.

When Ayame comes in with her boys, don't even bother paying any attention to
them, unless one of them attacks you. Pick whether to Counter or Defend wisely,
so as to preserve some XP for Wind, Boost and Clock Up.

Once KOS-MOS has talked to Aura...

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated

..time to lay the smackdown! Just go to town with all enemy units (healing
when necessary, of course), and salvaging/destroying anything you've missed
while along the way.

Notes: Chapter title refers to the song that plays in the ending credits for
"Gods Eater" ("God Eater" in Japan), "Kami to, Hito to" ("God and Man"),
fittingly enough.

===============================================================================
5.28 Chapter 23 - Ulala's Swingin' Report Show
===============================================================================

Looks like this segment of Aura's stuck in a statue. A statue of Reanbelle
holding a portrait frame in front of her, which she apparently STILL isn't too
fond of, much to Zephyr and Vashyron's amusement. On to work.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: Zephyr & Reanbelle is defeated
Enemies:

There's quite a good amount of barrels with white markings and baskets on the
Field Map, so it's important to clear them out for extra moving space, and
maybe the occasional item/enemy.

Twice, the statue will move on the rails, which destroys some barrels, which
gives you more moving range. After it moves twice...

Ulala? What the heck is the reporter from Space Channel 5 doing in this world?

Oh, the Morolians got brainwashed again.

Unfortunately, they're on the rails and if they're not out of the way, the
statue Aura's segment is in is going to run over them.

Condition(s) of Victory: Koko-Tapioca must be defeated within 15 turns
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Zephry & Leanbell are defeated
                       2/ Unable to defeat the Koko-Tapioca within 15 turns
Enemies: Coco-Tapioca, Morolians, Saya, Dokugozu, Dokubatou, Byakuya Kai,
        Tengu, Red Kamaitachi, Yellow Kamaitachi, White Kamaitachi

This stage, Ulala joins up and she comes with an auto +2 Move Skill that'll
only kick in when there's 120% on the XP Gauge. You could assign her to anyone
you like, although it's recommended to put her with Zephyr & Leane as they have
the highest/second highest SPD, so you're likely to get that +2 Move. Just move
one unit...

Geeze, frying pan, into fire much on this stage? The heck is SAYA doing here
now?! And she's brought along her cronies.

One downside to this stage is that you'll have used up at least two of your
turns, starting from the beginning. Other than having Ulala assigned to Zephyr
& Leanbell, as well sending them towards Koko-Tapioca, send along Reiji, Jin,
and Kurt as well. Gemini, X, and Haken can handle Saya's group.

The strategy here is more or less managing the XP Gauge. Keeping 120% on the
gauge is tricky, as you'll no doubt want to abuse what MAP Attacks (Gemini,
Reiji, and Zephyr) have, plus pulling out the Limit Breaks to deal the damage
on the stronger enemies. By this point, you should have JUST enough XP
refilling items to get through. Healing items will be almost dropped constantly
from the weaker enemies, so don't be afraid to use them.

Zephyr and Reiji should be able to MAP Attack some of the enemies that might
group together enough on their way to Koko-Tapioca. Jin & Xiaoyu can use their
+2 Move to pick up the treasure boxes lying about, as well any enemy that stray
too close. Gemini & Erica's MAP Attack might not do too much against Saya's
group, but it eleminates the mooks in the long run and at least do some damage
to the stronger units. Haken & Kaguya will eventually learn their Up+A attack
here, plus X & Zero will learn X Buster to add 15% to their ATK, so both should
help out a bit.

If you want to eleminate ALL enemies (Saya and her stronger units drop some
rather nice accessories), you may have to restart a couple times.

If you don't care or you're running out of turns, just go defeat Coco-Tapioca.

5.29 Chapter 24 - Warring Maidens of the Battlefield (戦場の戦乙女たち)
                 [Senjou no Ikusa Otome-tachi]
                 Maidens of the Battlefield (Eng)
===============================================================================

Suggest assigning Flynn to Zephyr and TK-Alisa to Ohgami.

Back in Marvel Land with the giant magic circle, chasing after Skeith, who is
STILL causing trouble to Aura because he has the final segment of her. But of
course, he runs away.

If that wasn't bad enough, Due pops in with her mooks, much to Kite's dismay
as he can't hear Aura.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated

Simple for the moment. If you had assigned Flynn to Zephyr, cast his +2 Move
immediately. Once you reach Ohgami's turn, use TK-Alisa's Clock Up skill and
cast their +2 Move as well. Don't forget to cast the SPD skills on Reiji
(Accel) and KOS-MOS (Boost).

End Turn 1, Due uses the magic circle to summon one who has the "power of
blood", bringing in Selvaria into the picture.

End Turn 2, a "devil" with an "evil eye", which brings in Axe Crazy Juri. This
doesn't bode well.

Turn 3, a "demonic beast of the new world", so say hello to Saya and her lot.

By this point, Estelle and Erica will have learned Nurse and Evangeline,
respectively, if not by the previous chapters at Level 28-29. So if you're
hurting and have over 80% XP, heal up.

While on the chase after Skeith, there's still the rainbow over the pyramid in
Marvel Land. So what's so unusual about it? Said rainbow is still connected to
Endless Frontier, the world where Haken and Kaguya originates from.

That's not good.

5.30 Chapter 25 - The Immortal Sakura in the Storm of Romance
                 (不死の桜に浪漫の嵐)
                 [Fushi no Sakura ni Rouman no Arashi]
                 A Storm of Romance (Eng)
===============================================================================

The team splits up, one to chase after Skeith seen headed to the Schalen
Celeste, while the other half checks out the Fujizakura because Kaguya's
worried about it.

Units allowed on this stage: Haken, Ohgami, Kurt, Jin, Kogorou, Frank, Reiji,
Soma, Gemini, and Zephyr; Flynn, Lady, Ulala, Bahn, Devilotte, Neneko, Batsu,
Imca, and Busujima.

Ciseaux ran away! Now what is that Killer Rabbit up to? We'll deal with him
later. Right now, the Fujisakura isn't faring well, what with the buildup of
spirit power growing inside it.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Ohgami & Sakura is defeated
                       2/ Reiji & Xiaomu is defeated
Enemies: Aya-me, 2x Hysteric Purple, 2x Outbreaker, 2x Gentleman, 2x Gattuso,
        2x Book of Judgement, 2x Book of the Dead, 2x Blackflame Dragon, 4x
        Kouma Kagizume, 3x Kouman Sandan, 2x Kouma Ekisha

Nothing much. Yet. Destroy anything along the way, enemy or field obstacles,
pick up the four treasure chests, etc.

However, kill off 8 enemy units, the Veranos brothers drops in with
reinforcements.

And... Saya? What the heck? Looks like she's a got a bone to pick with Oros
Prox in regards to her Byakuya Kais and Akatanas being used on the Fujizakura.
Unfortunately, due to the tree having accumulated a LOT of spiritual energy,
another "quake" kicks up. Ohgami's plan involves Kaguya not helping to restrain
the energy, but him and Sakura releasing it upwards safely. Wait, what?

Well! Looks like the sakura tree's spirit energy is back to normal! To
celebrate, Saya joins up as a Solo Unit, AND Ohgami and Sakura learns their MAP
Attack, "Futari wa Sakura Iro"!

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Ohgami & Sakura is defeated
                       2/ Reiji & Xiaomu is defeated
Enemies: Ein, Dwei,

Saya has "Demon Fox's Whisper" which raises all party members' DEF by 15% at
the cost of 50% XP, identical to Ohgami & Sakura's "Mountain". So it's
recommended to cast it since you have three bosses here, depending on how much
XP there is and whether you had Ohgami cast "Mountain" first. Her "Fox Dash"
Skill is also useful for Pair units that have small Move.

Note: Ohgami & Sakura's MAP attack is one of those tricky-to-translate-properly
lines, the closest which could be "The Two are the Color of the Sakura".

5.31 Chapter 26 - The Fighter of Virtual and Reality (仮想と現実の闘士)
                 [Kazou to Genjitsu no Youshi]
                 Warriors Beyond Reality (Eng)
===============================================================================

So Ciseaux has been chasing after Skieth for the last fragment of Aura, eh?
Great.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: 2x Goblin, 4x Bugbear, 3x Expression, 3x Glare

Rather straight forward. Kill any three enemies...

Of course, it wouldn't be that easy. Seth, Dural, a bunch of WR units, Nemesis
and his undead buddies show up.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Seth, Nemesis T-Type, Dural, 4x WR. Red Heavy, 6x WR. Gold Heavy, 4x
        Tyrant T-002, 2x Super Tyrant, 4x Ooze

Looks like Juri's pissed off at Seth, who wanted the Fusui Engine in her left
eye back, and decides to joins your party after Bruno and Chun-Li gives her the
alternative of getting beaten up as alongside Seth. Assign her to whomever you
like (although if you put her with X & Zero, one of their pre-battle quotes is
kind of funny). Be warned that Juri's Solo Attack is rather tricky since she
tends to send the enemy going vertical, thus the Cross Attack won't be as
effective unless you have somewhat wide-spread attacks like Touma's or X's.

Time to bust out those MAP Attacks, if you have the XP-filling items to spare
and if you've been spamming Solo/Support assists. Just don't forget to go about
busting up the scenery around your units.

===============================================================================
5.32 Chapter 27 - At the Cliff of a Different Dimension (異次元の断崖で)
                 [Ijigen no Dangai de]
                 The Dimensional Cliff (Eng)
===============================================================================

Hi, Ciseaux! On to work!

Best to use Ohgami & Sakura/Flynn's +2 Move Skill, as well the +2 SPD skills on
KOS-MOS and Reiji and anyone who you assigned TK-Alisa to. There's also a
couple chests that's a bit out of ways on the field, so don't forget to pick
them up.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Prelude, 3x Orange II, 3x Blanche, 4x Jorune

Straight forward enough. Past the first turn...

Oh, VAVA. With his crew. Yeesh.

Enemies: VAVA, 4x Gunbolt, 3x Ride Armor Green, 3x Ride Armor Red, 5x Metool
        C-15, 4x Metool D2

Pass another turn, and... Good GRIEF! Where were these guys hiding at?! And
Phantom's here as well. Lovely. At this point it's pretty much as Haken says:
"Let's start a Super Robot Wars!"

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Phantom, Koko-Tapioca, 4x System-Y, 3x System-Alpha, 5x Robotian
        Black, 3x, Robotian Gold, 4x Tobotian, WR Red, WR Gold

Despite the sheer number of enemies that pops up at the bottom and the left of
the map, it's not that bad really. Why? Because you can easily spam the MAP
Attacks, as while you do use 20% XP when Counterattacking, you regain just a
bit more. Especially for Solo Units that have the passive ability to give +1
when counterattacking. And you're refilling the XP Gauge even if the previous
Ally Unit doesn't outright defeat a group. It wouldn't be surprising if several
of your units gain two levels at some point.

Defeating VAVA isn't simple, which any RMX fan will know. Beat him the first
time, you only destroy his Ride Armor, so you have to technically defeat him
twice. And he runs away on the map once he loses his Ride Armor, making him
something of a Get Back Here Boss.

Well, well! Tron was able to fix up Phantom, so now he joins Haken & Kaguya as
part of their MAP Attack.

Notes: In the Japanese version, the song "ROCKS", from "Super Robot Wars:
Original Generations", overrides every other song throughout this stage.
Unfortunately, it's omitted in the Western releases. Just look up "JAM Project"
and "ROCKS" on YouTube to hear how it goes.

===============================================================================

Assign Flynn to your fastest Unit, usually Zephyr or Soma.

Great, we're in Astaroth's castle. Aura's at the door in distress and
something's happening to The World, which may explain the reason behind the
lack of Skeith's presence this time around.

Condition(s) of Victory: 1/ Get Kite to Aura within 10 turns
                        2/ Defeat all enemies
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Kite & Black Rose are defeated
                       2/ Fail to reach Aura within 10 turns
Enemies: Astaroths, Jedah, Riemsanne,

10 turns? Not as generous compared to 15 turns. Use Ohgami/Flynn's +2 Move at
the first opportunity to give Kite & Black Rose an extra boost to get to Aura,
due to this stage's layout of stairs.

As you progress on, at various points, more and more enemies shows up -
Riemsianne, Jedah, AND TWO Astaroths. At the least, keeping renewing Ohgami &
Sakura/Flynn's +2 Move every other turn to get Kite & Black Rose to Aura as
fast as possible while taking down anything that gets in your way. Ulala's
Auto +2 Move might help, but that's only if there's 120% in the XP Gauge by the
turn of whichever unit she's assigned to.

Once Kite speaks to Aura, you can finally take a breather. (...to an extent.)

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated

Just go to town on any enemies that are still hanging on. Don't forget to pick
up any items/break any objects you might have left behind, especially the
pillars.

5.34 Chapter 29 - Love, Unbeatable (負けない、愛)
                 [Make'nai, Ai]
                 An Unbeatable Love (Eng)
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ X & Zero is defeated
                       2/ Kogorou & Mii is defeated
Enemies: Skeith

That's... a lot of enemies. And one too many Skeithes for comfort. Kill off
several of the small fries and then...

Welcome back, VAVA! Mr. Boba-Fett-look-alike brings in a couple buddies, so
back to work on "deleting" the enemies. Past a turn or two, Skeith Zero does
something.

Wait a minute...

IRIS?!

Condition(s) of Victory: Reach X & Zero and wait next to Zero using B, or
                        defeat VAVA within 9 turns
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Fail to reach X & Zero, or defeat VAVA within 9
                          turns
                       2/ All allies are defeated
Enemies: Skeith, Skeith 0

Another tricky stage with a turn limit (even worst - 9 TURNS), so use those
XP-gaining items, spam those Move/Attack range skills, and slaughter any
enemies that gets in the way as fast as possible. And yes, two ways to progress
this part of the stage.

Option A: Get one of your units next to Zero and wait next to him using B. This
would mean having to spam Ohgami & Sakura/Flynn's +2 Move whenever possible,
due to the narrow routes and the number of enemies clogging up the place. MAP
Attacks will also help out as well to clear things up a bit. The two Skeithes
can be tricky given their high HP, but using any Skills that increase your ATK
or allow for Solo/Support Units to attack twice can help.

Option B: Beat down VAVA, who is usually on the left side of the rock bridge on
the map. That means that any Units you send to him on the left side will have
to contend with that Skeith there and any other mooks that may be blocking your
way. Again, Ohgami & Sakura/Flynn's +2 Move helps somewhat to get to VAVA
faster, as well MAP Attacks to clear out the map.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated.
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated.

And now, the chapter title appears. (FINALLY!) Not to mention, X & Zero finally
learn their MAP Attack! Of course, Skeith Zero joins in as a boss.

Time to cut loose! If you opted to rescue Zero, you'll have to defeat VAVA
twice again. Don't forget the item chests and other destructible obstacles, as
well mopping up what few enemies that might still be hanging around.

Notes: To RMX4 fans, both chapter titles is recognizable as a reference to X4's
Japanese opening song "Makenai Ai ga Kitto aru" ("The Unbeatable Love I Surely
Have").

        Coccoon Maiden (Spark), 4x Fallen Cocoon Maiden (F), 4x Fallen Zygote
        (Blaze), 3x Fallen Zygote (F)

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Selvaria Bles, 3x V-Dural (Statue), 6x Hunter Alpha, 2x Tyrant T-002,

Condition(s) of Defeat: Kogorou & Mii are defeated
Enemies: Due, Drei, Ein, Doku, Doku

Oh, now it's Due's turn.

With... a LOT more enemies. Oi.

If you have a good supply of XP filling items, have at it with MAP Attacks. If
not, just keep on attacking and using MAP Attacks when possible. Skills that
can increase their attack range, increase their move ranges, as well speed is
recommended. The sheer number of enemies makes up for the XP usage at any rate.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Frank & Lei-Lei is defeated
                       2/ Chris & Jill is defeated
Enemies: Zabel, Nemesis

Rather straight forward here, so as long you keep an eye on Frank and Chris' HP
and cast Ohgami's "Mountain" skill for a bit of extra DEF.

Zabel shows up, not to mention Nemesis. Conditions are still the same, but
Ohgami's "Mountain" skill is definitely recommended for a bit of insurance.
Nemesis can cause Poison status, so watch out.

Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Riemsanne,

Again, straight forward, once Morrigan snaps Touma out of Riemsianne's spell.
Having Saya assigned to Chun-Li or Soma is handy, with her "Fox" skill adding
+2 to Defense on all ally units. After a turn or two, a pile of more enemies
shows up, but it's still the same of just mowing them down, as well destroying
any obstacle that gets in your way. Don't forget to pick up the items in the
pool.

Notes: The English chapter title may be familiar to those in English-speaking
places, obviously the "Die Hard" movie series starring Bruce Willis. What makes
more sense is that Bruno's an expy of John McClane, being from the old Sega
arcade game "Dynamite Deka" (AKA "Die Hard Arcade") - hence, Chun-Li's "Mr.
Dynamite" line and even Xiaomu sings a bit from the Japanese commercial when
you assign him with her and Reiji. In the original arcade and Japanese version
of PXZ, Bruno's wearing a blue jacket, but due to legal issues, he's wearing a
black and green one in the English releases.

5.39 Chapter 34 - Is Paris Burning Again? (再び、巴里は燃えているか)
                 [Futatabi, Pari wa Moeteiru ka]
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Gemini & Erica is defeated
                       2/ Ohgami & Sakura is defeated
Enemies: Ciseaux, Necron, Omnicron, Aya-me, Blanche,

Simple enough, if it wasn't for the city barrier that Necro and Omnicron had
raised, trapping one-third of your group behind it. Of course, Rebirds, demons,
Blanches, and a few more pop in.

Kill enough, the wall drops, BUT Ciseaux shows up with enemies to replace the
ones that got taken care of. Of course, all the ally units piss Ciseaux off by
calling him a "rabbit", which is one of his Beserk Buttons.

After Kogorou makes a few deductions on why Ciseaux was spotted both in
Cyberverse and at Endless Frontier in relation with Oros Prox, kouma shows up.
Which obviously means Ayame. Leading to Ohgami declaring Operation "Is Paris
Burning Again".

Notes: Sakura Taisen fans will recognize the title, referring to ST3's
subtitle, "Pari wa Moeteiru ka", "Is Paris Burning?"

5.40 Chapter 35 - The Jet Black Messiah (漆黒の救世主)
                 [Shikkoku no Kyuuseishuu]
                 The Dark Savior (Eng)
===============================================================================

Have Ulala be assigned to a unit whose speed is around the 150 range. As she's
the only one with the skill that adds +2 to your Move Range, the faster Pair
Units should be able to put more than 120% on the Cross Gauge for her auto
Swinging Step Forward! skill to kick in.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Jedah, Ein, Drei

Ein and Drei are the first round of bosses here, alongside their posse.

Once you get up to the level with two crystals blocking the pathway above your
starting point, Jedah shows up with his crew.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Jedah, 5x Oros Golt, 5x Q-Bee, 6x Red Arremer King, 2x Red Arremer,
        3x White Arremer, 7x Red Arremer Ace

To quote, "Wipe them out. ALL of them."

And don't forget to pick up the item chests.

===============================================================================
5.41 Chapter 36 - Last Escape (ラスト・エスケープ)
                 Nemesis (Eng)
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory: Destroy all capsules
Condition(s) of Defeat: Chris & Jill is defeated
Enemies: Skeith, Vajra, 3x Hysteric Purple, Daybreaker, 3x Nightbreaker, 3x
        Gentleman, 3x F Cocoon Maiden (F), 2x Fallen Zygote (F),Statue Menhir,
        2x Sphinx Menhir, 3x Armaros, 3x, Expression, 3x Glare

Monsters from The World, Skeith, and a Vajra with some Aragami. It's a regular
monster-making area when Tron orders one of the Kobun to break a capsule and a
Goyle pops out. Be warned that as you destroy the capsules with the Y-button,
you'll either get an item or another enemy, alongside taking out the already
present enemies.

Once you get onto the stairs leading down to the center and last capsule, two
T-type Tyrants and a couple zombies shows up, as well our favorite Nemesis
popping out of the last capsule.

Condition(s) of Victory: Defeat all 3 T-type Tyrants
Condition(s) of Defeat: Chris & Jill is defeated
Enemies: T-type Tyrants 3x

One main difficulty to this half of the stage is because of the B.O.W.s' high
HP, especially Nemesis. If you have the XP items to spare, use them.

Note: The Japanese chapter title is another RE reference, namely the track that
plays as part of the intro scene preceding the start menu in RE3. The English
chapter title is also an obvious RE3 reference of our favorite Tyrant, as well
being the English subtitle.

5.42 Chapter 37 - For the Nostalgic Future (懐かしい未来のために)
                 [Natsukashii Mirai no Tameni]
                 A Familiar Future (Eng)
===============================================================================

Half of the party ends up at an upper level and when Ohgami thinks the others
are gone, said second half ends up at the lowest level. Some arrived by rather
questionable usage of their abilities, such as Shinkuu Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku
for Ryuu.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Kogoru & Mii is defeated
                       2/ X & Zero is defeated
Enemies: 3x Nightbreaker, 6x Hammer Golem, 2x Hysteric Purple, Madd Sakka,
        Colorful Taaruman (Karafuru Taaruman), 3x Bloody Doll, 4x Signal
        Dekaiko, 2x Doll Dekaiko

Hope you have Flynn assigned to Zephyr, so you can cast his +2 Move right off
the bat. Ohgami's "Wind" Skill to help make sure +2 Move is still on will help,
due to your units' locations at the beginning.

Reach the center platform, Dwei shows up with her boys, as well VAVA in another
Ride Armor with his kids.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Kogoru & Mii is defeated
                       2/ X & Zero is defeated
Enemies: Dwei, VAVA

Play a bit more defensively here. Ohgami and Saya's 15% plus to all ally units'
DEF skill is highly recommended. You could pair up some of the units to crowd
control a bit, as well the occasional MAP Attack on VAVA's group. Once you've
thinned down the mooks, then you can focus on taking out the bosses here. Don't
forget to loot the chests.

5.43 Chapter 38 - The Puppet King (傀儡の王)
                 [Kugutsu no Ou]
                 The Lord of Puppets (Eng)
===============================================================================

Isn't this a cheery vacation place. Dante's not too happy being back in this
part of the Demon World. Unfortunately, Dante & Demitri and two-thirds of the
gang have to go off after Jedah not long after Seth shows up with a couple
Tyrants and Durals. At least we don't have to run sideways. Oh, and there
aren't any chests or obstacles to destroy for items, so you'll have to beat
them out from the enemies.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Seth, V-Dural, 3x V-Dural (Statue), 7x Sin Scissors, 2x Hell Pirde,
        3x Hell Wrath, 2x Bloody Marionette, 2x Marionette (purple),
        3x Marionette (green), 2x Tyrant T-002, 3x Super Tyrant

Having Flynn assigned to Jin & Xiaoyu is a very good idea, as they're currently
the fastest unit in this chapter (accessories that increases SPD aside), so use
that +2 Move skill. Or put Flynn on the person who has the highest speed after
you've equipped them. Getting to Seth is going to be very much tedious, since
he's so far away and half the enemies are practically at the other end of the
map. Don't forget the SPD-boosting Skills on KOS-MOS, Reiji, T-Alisa, and Akira
to help speed them (whomever T-Alisa is assigned to) along. Haken's +1 Attack
Range skill will also come in handy. Just don't forget that the quirky layout
of the map may prevent you from reaching some of the enemies easily. Sin
Scissors can stun you unless you have no-Stun or so-status equipment on if you
choose to counterattack. If you don't want to risk it, stick with defending.

Once you move a unit up and past the stairs that's northwest from the
starting point, MORE enemies show up. Dokugozu, Dokumezu, their mooks, and
Coco Tapioca with the Morolians. Saya's not pleased with both Horse-head and
Bull-Head, no thanks to Riemsianne enthralling them. Them's the breaks, Saya.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: Dokumezu, Dokugozu, Coco Tapioca, 4x Master Medusa, 3x Dark Stalker,
        3x dark Serpent, 2x Purple Morolian, 2x Yellow Morolian, 2x Blue
        Morolian

Try to keep at least a pair of units within Support Attack range of each other
so as to keep the battles a little more manageable due to the extra number of
enemies. Other than the Sin Scissors, the Medusas and Stalkers/Serpents can
also Stun your units so choose wisely. Just make sure to try to keep XP on hand
for Flynn's Marching Order for Range and Saya's Werefox Whisper to defense.

===============================================================================
5.44 Chapter 39 - Devils Never Cry (悪魔は、泣かない)
                 [Akuma wa, Naka'nai]
                 The Devil Never Cries (Eng)
===============================================================================

Yeaugh... Welcome to Jedah's beloved "Fetus of God" stage.

Aw, Jedah ran away! Shame we can't re-enact Jedah's ending from "Capcom
Fighting Evolution" with Dante.

Yet.

On to business!

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated.
Condition(s) of Defeat: Dante & Demitri is defeated.
Enemies: 2x Astraroth, 2x Shielder, 5x Red Arremar King, 1x Red Arremar, 3x Red
        Arremar (White), 4x Red Arremer Ace

Pretty easy, so as long you keep an eye on Dante & Demitri's HP. One minor
annoyance here is that only the larger "stumps" can be destroyed with Y to get
some extra breathing room. The smaller ones can't be destroyed at all, so use
Ohgami's "Wind" skill to get a leg up. One thing is try to kill all the enemies
here as efficiently as possible. There's a reason why later on. If you have the
extra XP items, spam the Super, +1 Support/Solo, and MAP Attacks. Don't forget
the five chests around the area. Just be careful on choosing whether to Defend
or Counterattack.

Defeat both Astaroth, the Shielders and the Arremars, you'd think you're done.

Nope, denied.

Riemsianne and Selvaria appears with their mooks, but it's not that different
than with Astaroth. Provided that you've split your units into two groups, play
a bit more defensively with Ohgami's "Mountain" or any unit that can increase
their Defense by 15%. Conditions are still the same and try not to dawdle on
getting rid of them.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated.
Condition(s) of Defeat: Dante & Demitri is defeated.
Enemies: Riemsianne, Selvaria, 2x Dark Serpent, 4x Dark Stalker, 2x Succubus,
        3x High Bermuda Gang, 3x Master Medusa

Once this second round is done, Jedah shows up alongside with Zabel and what
could be a PLATOON of zombies on Zabel's side. OY!

Condition(s) of Victory: Defeat Jedah within 8 turns
Condition(s) of Defeat: 1/ Dante & Demitri is defeated
                       2/ Unable to defeat Jedah by the 16th turn
Enemies: Jedah Dohma, 3x Armaros, 4x Glare, 5x Q-bee, Zabel Zarock, 2x Tyrant
        T-002, 2x Super Tyrant, 3x Ooze, Zombie (blue), Zombie (red), Zombie
        (purple), 4x Ebitan, 2x Hedrin

So we've been filling the Fetus of God with the souls of the monsters we've
been defeating? Cheat.

Eight minutes to destroy the fetus? Geesh, why not pull a Wesker and make us
attempt it in seven for the extra bonus?

Ahem.

The annoying thing of this stage is that the requirement of defeating Jedah is</pre><pre id="faqspan-3">
"by the end of Turn XX", which can vary depending on how long it took for you
to beat the previous two waves of Astaroth, Riemsianne, and Selvaria. Say
you've defeated all of Riemsianne and Selvaria's groups by turn 10. For Jedah
and Zabel, you have till turn 17 to defeat Jedah. That's what Jedah meant by
"eight minutes". If you're looking for more EXP and items, that's why it's
important to try to get rid of the small fry as efficiently as possible, like
MAP Attacks. If you're really reluctant to use any XP gaining items, or don't
care for the extra EXP, just focus on taking out Zabel, and then Jedah before
the 8 turns are up.

Notes: The chapter title references to a line Dante tells to Trish at the end
of "Devil May Cry", and his shop was temporarily named with that same line.

5.45 Chapter 40 - Treasure on the Boundary Line (境界線上の秘宝)
                 [Kyoukaisen Ue no Hihou]
                 Treasure on the Horizon (Eng)
===============================================================================

Hey, we made it back to the Kouryuuji mansion without any problem! And, hey!
The fountain! Might as well.

And finally, the boss of Oros Prox shows himself. But before you can chase
after them, a platoon's worth of clones blocks your way. And the clones?
Heihachi, Sanger, T-elos, Juri, T-Alisa, and Saya.

Condition(s) of Victory: All enemies are defeated
Condition(s) of Defeat: All allies are defeated
Enemies: 4x Heihachi, 4x Sanger, 4x T-elos, 4x Juri, 4x T-Alisa, 4x Saya

Hopefully you'll have Flynn assigned to your fastest units to get a leg up on
moving, usually Zephyr or Soma by this point, barring someone else having the
really high SPD accessories equipped. Saya would be best assigned to your
second fastest unit for a little extra defense. Don't forget Ohgami's Wind and
Mountain skills, plus Ulala's Swinging Step Forward. There's also six treasure
chests to pick up.

In essence, all of these could be considered sub-bosses, given their high HP
relative to your units'. MAP Attacks aren't really worth it here, so it's
better to focus on skills that lets you deal more damage, like an additional
15% to Attack, breaking through the enemy's Block, or extra Solo/Support
attacks. Remember to heal up occasionally. Hopefully, you won't have burned
through too much precious healing/XP items.

5.46 Epilogue - Wings of the Wanderers (翼の放浪者たち)

               The Winged Wanderers (Eng)
===============================================================================

Condition(s) of Victory:
Condition(s) of Defeat:

Note: The chapter titles makes a LOT more sense for the Japanese version, the
opening song's name "Wing Wanderer", which was omitted in the English releases
due to legal reasons.

6. Items
===============================================================================

Contrast to most RPGs or SRPGs, there's no item shop here, so there's no money
drop. All items you obtain is either through enemies dropping them when you
attack them (usually those with shields), defeating them, opening item chests,
and/or destroying objects out on the Field Map. Another thing to keep in mind
is that there's a cap of 20 on the consumable items.

===============================================================================
6.1 Healing Items
===============================================================================

* Kai
  Heals 10% HP of the active unit.

* First Aid
  Heals 10% HP of the active unit.

* Green Herb
  Originating game: "Biohazard"/"Resident Evil" series
  Regain 30% of a Unit's HP.
  Where's a Red, Blue, or Yellow Herb when you need them? Nevertheless, this
  one is highly useful.

* Apple Gummy
  Originating game:  "Tales of" series
  Regain 30% of a Unit's HP.
  Identical to the Green Herb, but probably a bit more tasty to some.

* Kibi Dango
  Heals 30% HP of all allies.

* Tiger Pancake [Tora no Pankeeki]
  Heals 50% HP of all allies.
  Extremely useful if a good deal of your units are low on health and don't
  have enough XP to cast a multi-heal spell.

===============================================================================
6.2 XP-related Items
===============================================================================

* Roozu Jisuto S
  Fills 10% on the XP gauge. (Up till 100%)
  Useful just for that little bit if you're within like the 60% range on the
  XP guage.

* Kidamashi
  Fills 10% on the XP gauge. (Up till 100%)

* no Kidamashi
  Fills 30% on the XP gauge. (Up till 100%)
  Quite useful if you're really in need of filling up the XP gauge.

* Roozu Jisuto L
  Fills 100% on the XP gauge. (Up till 100%)
  This would fall under emergencies if you're that desperate.

===============================================================================
6.3 Status-cure items
===============================================================================

* Panacea Bottle
  Cures one ally of any status effects.

* Mannou Soda
  Cures one ally of any status effects.

===============================================================================
6.4 Equippable items
===============================================================================

Equippable items fall into two categories: one is what you actually wear, while
the other is an accessory.

6

* Gold Orb

* Blue Orb

* W Leather Jacket
  DEF +3
  "Wild leather jacket", and considered rare.

* Jade Medal
  HP+800 / TEC+10 / Gaining experience up 20%
  Only available as a download for a limited of time, from October 11, 2012,
  to October 28, 2012, after purchasing the game and activating a code that
  was found in the instruction pamphlet.

* Sapphire Medal
  HP-1000 / ATK+10 / SPD+10 / TEC-15 / Disable an Enemy Block
  Available as a download, provided via a code for those that bought the
  official strategy guide. While the ATK and SPD may seem worthwhile, consider
  the fact that the Unit's HP and TEC will drop. The bright side is that it's
  quite useful against enemies with Block, pretty much destroying it. Keep in
  mind that you can only have ONE Save Data with the Sapphire Medal.

XX. Frequently Asked Questions                                            [FAQ]

===============================================================================

Q: How did you get this game and a Japanese 3DS?
A: Import, of course. Both game and Japanese 3DS can be bought via import
sites, such as Play-Asia.com or CDJapan.co.jp. You can take your chances via
eBay, or ask around if you really want it. Just consider that the exchange rate
fluctuates, so you might have to either pay more now or less later.

Q: What about the official strategy guide?
A: Import also. Amazon.co.jp can ship books to countries that they'll ship to,
so you can try that venue. I got mine via Kinokuniya, a Japanese bookstore
chain with several US branches.

Q: Do you need to be really good with Japanese to play this?
A: I have a passable grasp, so I fumble by with judicious use of online
dictionaries and machine translators. Granted, having a stronger fluency will
make understanding it much faster and more easily, but you can still enjoy it
even with a decent understanding of the language.

Q: You translated this wrong!
A: In all honesty, it's kind of Your Mileage May Vary when it comes to
translating from the various Japanese-related fandoms I've been involved in.
Context has always been a bit of tricky thing to get a grasp of - while I might
get the gist of what a phrase means, I might be off context-wise where it meant
Thing 1 instead of Thing 2. It also depends on the choice of paying homage to
the originating games. Prologue 5 with "Revelation" was partly because of
"Resident Evil: Revelations", and that chapter has Chris & Jill in it, as well
zombies. So, why not? If I did a translation/romaji entirely wrong, I'm open to
what would be the correct forms/translation.
