INTRODUCTION (BB-001)
==============
The Battle Buffet, located in the mall in Hau'oli City, is the parallel
to the Battle Cheateu from X & Y. Here you can pay 1,200 to battle as much as
you can collect as much food as you can in only ten turns. At the buffet,
there will be four different dishes from which to choose, but, before you can
take anything the cooresponsding trainer will challenge you to a battle.
The purpose of this guide is to help you maximize your trip to the Battle
Buffet.
=======
MEALS (BB-002)
=======
Food Types (002-a)
------------
Even though the nine different meals are just for show and don't make any
real difference, each meal has a value that will affect on your final
satisfaction. As you may or may not have noticed, each meal comes with a
gold, silver or bronze cover. These colors indicate the values of each meal
and are seperated as such:
|=======================================================================|
| Gold Dish (x3) | Silver Dish (x2) | Bronze Dish (x1) |
|=======================================================================|
| Chansey Omelette | Hoenn Ramen | Eggant in Chili Sauce |
|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
| Miltank Cheese Pizza | Vanillite Parfait | Rindo Salad |
|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
| Take Down Steak | Whirlpool Sushi | Tamato Pasta |
|=======================================================================|
Based on the color of the cover, each of these meals will deplete at a
set rate and offer a set point multiplier. For gold, the multiplier is x3,
for silver, it's x2, and, for bonze, it's a mere x1. These mulitpliers are
combined with the amount of food is left when you challenge the trainer and
will deplete at a set rate for each turn that you ave remaining.
Food Remaining and Deleption Rates (002-b)
------------------------------------
When a new food is added to the buffet, it will start with five servings
and will deplete by a specific amount with each turn, based on the cover.
Gold-covered meals will deplete by a whopping TWO servings each turn.
Silver-covered dishes will deplete by ONE serving per turn. Finally,
bronze-covered foods will deplete one serving but only every OTHER turn.
You can tell exactly how much food is left by the message you get when you
check out the food.
|====================================================|
| Message Given | Servings Left |
|====================================================|
| There's still a mountain of food! | 5 Servings |
|----------------------------------------------------|
| There's still tons of food! | 4 Servings |
|----------------------------------------------------|
| There's still plenty of food! | 3 Servings |
|----------------------------------------------------|
| There's not so much food left now! | 2 Servings |
|----------------------------------------------------|
| There's hardly any food left now! | 1 Servings |
|====================================================|
Scoring (002-c)
---------
Now that you know both the servings and the multiplier, you can now
scour your hunting grounds (the buffet) and get the score that you want,
after all you may not WANT a high score, as it affects the prize that you can
get at the end. Take the number of servings and multiply it by the bonus
given from the food's type. For example, if you get 3 servings of Vanillite
Parfait, you take 3 servings and multiply it by the silver multiplier (x2),
which gives you 6 points towards your final score. Using this you'll see
that it may be more beneficial (if you're just going for a high score) to
take the five servings of Rindo Salad (5 x 1 = 5 points) than one serving of
Take Down Steak (1 x 3 = 3 points).

FINAL SCORING (BB-003)
===============
Once all ten of your turns are over, you'll go to your seat to eat all of
the goodies that you've collected. After that, the hostess will tally your
score and give you your prize. The prizes are as follows:
|=============================================================================|
| Score | Prize Received | Hostess' Comments |
|=============================================================================|
| 50 + | Max Revive | You have the look of someone whose belly is full |
| | | of delicious goodies! |
|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| 35 - 49 | HP Up | You look pleasantly full to me! |
|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| 25 - 34 | Big Mushroom | Hmmm... From the look on your face, I bet you |
| | | could still eat some more. |
|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| < 25 | Honey | You look totally unsatisfied, like your body and |
| | | mind are both still hungry. |
|=============================================================================|
==========
TRAINERS (BB-004)
==========
At the buffet, each trainer will only have one pokémon. Before you
become the National Champion, all pokémon will only be at level 13, so you're
bound to find a way to make a unofficial one-hit K.O. pretty soon in the
story. Once you become the Champion, they'll all be pumped-up to level 55,
and some pokémon will also have evolved, if applicable, so be ready for
that. Thankfully, the prize money also increases.

Buffet Queen (005-b)
--------------
Once you've beaten the game, you can achieve complete satisfaction (a
score of 50+) five times. After that you will meet the "famous" Buffet
Queen. She will challange you to au nique competition. While paying for
your entire meal, you must get a higher score that is higher than her. This
will most certainly mean getting a score of 50+, so be ready! If you beat
her, she will declare you the new Buffet Queen or King. You won't get a
prize like normal, but that title will be enough.
|=============================================================================|
| Score | Buffet Queen's Comments |
|=============================================================================|
| 50 + | You look like someone who's totally satisfied by your belly full |
| | of delicious goodies! |
|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| 35 - 49 | You look pretty full! You must be satisfied! |
|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| 25 - 34 | What a stern look! Looks like you didn't get enough to eat! |
|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| < 25 | You look terribly disappointed! Looks like your body and mind are |
| | still hungry! |

TIPS & TRICKS (BB-005)
===============
The Battle Buffet is pretty cut and dry, but there are things that can
be done to maximize your experience. If you know of any tricks or have any
valuable tips to share, feel free to contact me here, via PM, and they
will be added. As proper, you will be credited for you contribution.
1.) UNLIMITED POTENTIAL
If you want to use the Battle Buffet to level-up or get a lot of
money, you can leave before you have used all ten moves. All you need to do
is leave and tell the hostess that you really want to leave. As long as
you've made more that 1,200, you'll net a cool profit and your pokémon will
keep all experience that they've gained. Just enter again, pay again, and
do it all over.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure to either leave or complete the buffet
before the internal clock of you 3DS hits midnight.
If you complete the buffet AFTER midnight, you'll
have to wait until the next day.
