How to find the Sticker Museum
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Once you gain the ability to paperize, return to Decalburg.
2. Paperize in the town square and peel off the loose central fountain.
3. This should free the Green Toad who was squashed under the town during it's
de-burrito-fication.
4. Follow the Green Toad to his house at the back of the town square, and he
will lead you to the Sticker Museum in his basement!
A throwing star favored by Ninjis.
It's easy to time this attack if you
concentrate.
Bottom Floor - Right Door
=========================
------------------------
No. 01 - Sewing Scissors
------------------------
Place found: Bowser's Snow Fort
Size: 1x1
...Research Notes....
When compressed by a team of Toads,
this catapult is capable of low-orbit
launches. As the bladed end is lethal,
this was likely a discarded prototype.
...Research Notes....
Like other bladed things, this requires a
command Toad in each circular cockpit.
However, the protruding flange suggests
a third operator is required for steering.
...Research Notes....
When maneuvered by two skilled thing
captains, this device cleaves anything.
This discovery will surely revolutionize
the Toad construction business.
----------------------
No. 04 - Tailor Shears
----------------------
Place found: Shy Guy Jungle (Secret Door)
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
This massive, linked pair of sharpened
blades was likely used for landscaping.
Trained Toads can operate in tandem
from the two oval command cockpits.
==========================
Bottom Floor - Middle Door
==========================
...Research Notes....
Requiring an entire platoon of Toads to
operate, this primitive pinwheel
motivator is a monument to inefficiency.
------------------
No. 06 - Paper Fan
------------------
Place found: Yoshi Sphinx (Secret Door)
Size: 1.5x1.5
...Research Notes....
Though its gigantic size limits its use to
only the largest of griddles, this ornate
spatula is a sight to behold. The symbol
is thought to mean "succulent pancake."
------------
No. 07 - Fan
------------
Place found: Bouquet Gardens
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
While voice modulators are not unheard
of, this device is clearly the first built
for crowd use. It was likely used for
intimidation at sporting events.
--------------------
No. 08 - Mini Vacuum
--------------------
Place found: Jungle Rapids (Secret Door)
Size: 1x1
...Research Notes....
The smallest of what is believed to be
a previously undiscovered type of
suction robot, this variation is highly
maneuverable and easily satiated.
...Research Notes....
A member of the Suction Thing family,
this variation waits for prey in an
upright position, disguising itself as a
part of the canopy. Then it strikes.
...Research Notes....
This mechanical thing appears to exist
for one purpose: to consume anything
within reach. While not necessarily
alive, it is most certainly hungry.
========================
Bottom Floor - Left Door
========================
---------------------
No. 11 - Watering Can
---------------------
Place found: The Enigmansion
Size: 1x1
...Research Notes....
This piece of demolition equipment is
only operable by highly trained Toads.
Once filled, targeted water sprinkles
can destabilize any paper edifice.
---------------
No. 12 - Faucet
---------------
Place found: Water's Edge Way
Size: 1.5x1.5
...Research Notes....
This hydroelectric-dam release valve
may once have functioned well, but
those days are long past. It now
requires a leaping Toad to activate it.
...Research Notes....
This ancient house alarm was designed
for icy climates. Placed by the furnace,
its contents would boil when burglars
turned the heat on, activating a siren.
...Research Notes....
This valve-based alarm system requires
the operator to exhale as hard as
possible into the apparatus. The result
is a din trespassers won't soon forget.
---------------
No. 15 - Violin
---------------
Place found: The Bafflewood (Secret Door)
Size: 1.5x1.5
...Research Notes....
This audio-warfare thing requires a
squad of Toads to operate--one each to
man the taut vibration hawsers and a
pair to manipulate the friction saw.
...Research Notes....
A fairly sophisticated audio weapon,
this thing utilizes electricity to
minimize Toadpower. A single Toad can
launch blistering assult "solos."
=========================
Second Floor - Right Door
=========================
...Research Notes....
A testament to the quiet strength of
paper power, this triumphant rolled
tube of separate sheets symbolizes how
unity can bring forth might.
----------------
No. 18 - Toy Bat
----------------
Place found: Shy Guy Jungle
Size: 1.5x1.5
...Research Notes....
While the width of this cylinder makes
swinging at targets a breeze, its
accuracy is bought with a loud bonking
noise sure to anger the neighbors.
------------
No. 19 - Bat
------------
Place found: Sandshifter Ruins
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
This piece of wood has the power to
send round objects flying when swung
correctly. The individual responsible for
vandalizing it has yet to be identified.
-------------------
No. 20 - Square Can
-------------------
Place found: Stump Glade (Secret Door)
Size: 1x1
...Research Notes....
This metal container could have been
used for anything, but leading scholars
believe it was almost certainly slept on
by a cat at some point.
...Research Notes....
Plated in what is almost certainly gold,
this private, solar-powered hot tub was
likely overpaid for by a rich Toad who
forgot that he was made of paper.
-------------
No. 22 - Drum
-------------
Place found: Strike Lake (Secret Door)
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
A debate rages about the contents of
this huge canister, but since breaching
the hull could ruin whatever's within,
it stays sealed. Also, we can't open it.
==========================
Second Floor - Middle Door
==========================
------------------
No. 23 - Lightbulb
------------------
Place found: Yoshi Sphinx
Size: 1x1
...Research Notes....
This large bulb was engineered to house
and protect a glowing filament, but a
major design flaw allows all the precious
light to escape into the surroundings.
-------------------
No. 24 - Flashlight
-------------------
Place found: Whiteout Valley (Secret Door)
Size: 1.5x1.5
...Research Notes....
This compact lighthouse is designed to
be mobile, but the fact that it points
straight up when installed would lead
to many a naval disaster.
...Research Notes....
Our most learned academics remain
stumped as to why anyone would install
blinds on such a massive light source.
It kind of defeats the purpose.
----------------------
No. 26 - Watch Battery
----------------------
Place found: Tree Branch Trail
Size: 1x1
...Research Notes....
This adorable little power source should
not, under any circumstances, be
ingested, no matter how hunger you are
and how much it looks like candy.
...Research Notes....
All readings indicate that this cylinder
harbors a huge amount of latent power.
We have attempted to access it, but a
vigorous stick-poking met with failure.
--------------------
No. 28 - Car Battery
--------------------
Place found: Drybake Desert (Secret Door)
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
Inside this device sleeps a power no
Toad could hope to control. In fact,
you'd probably better step back a bit.
Maybe a little farther.
========================
Second Floor - Left Door
========================
----------------------
No. 29 - Billiard Ball
----------------------
Place found: Strike Lake
Size: 1x1
...Research Notes....
This orb would be indistinguishable from
other massive spheres if not for the
inexplicable number on its side. For the
love of Toad, what does it MEAN?!
----------------------
No. 30 - Curling Stone
----------------------
Place found: Ice Flow
Size: 1.5x1.5
...Research Notes....
It seems increasingly possible that this
boulder spontaneously grew a handle
out of its side. The wonders of nature
are endless and often really weird.
---------------------
No. 31 - Bowling Ball
---------------------
Place found: The Bafflewood
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
Whether this orb was designed for
battle or merely construction, one thing
is clear: the engineers who piloted it
from the three Toad holes were brave.
---------------
No. 32 - Trophy
---------------
Place found: The Bafflewood
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
This extravegant chalice looks pricey,
but functionally, it's a disaster. It's too
big for one Toad to drink out of, and
what's that weird guy doing on top?
...Research Notes....
What began as a training apparatus for
an aspiring pogo-stick champion clearly
spiraled out of control during the
development phase.
========================
Third Floor - Right Door
========================
...Research Notes....
While most Toad breakfast scientists
agree that this gargantuan machine
is a toaster, none have had success
with the bread-insertion procedure.
...Research Notes....
This large-scale rewarmer was likely
utilized by primitive caterers, though
it proved rather ineffective in both our
quiche and chili-dog tests.
-------------
No. 37 - Oven
-------------
Place found: The Enigmansion
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
For a supposedly high-end home feature,
this sauna is sorely lacking in seating,
fancy perfumed steam waters and, most
importantly, a temperature control.
...Research Notes....
A leading Toad physicist burned
basically everything in the lab before
discovering that this thing worked as
a magnification device.
----------------
No. 39 - Matches
----------------
Place found: Hither Thither Hill (Secret Door)
Size: 1.5x1.5
...Research Notes....
Under no circumstances should these
sticks be rubbed against their own
packaging. You just need to trust
the management on this one.
...Research Notes....
This portable campfire works best when
entrenched in cool earth. Deployment of
s'mores is up to the camper, but have
you ever tried adding peanut butter?
=========================
Third Floor - Middle Door
=========================
...Research Notes....
Some frozen mountains can only be
scaled by the burliest of Toad explorers.
Others can be scaled by any Toad with
a spoon and a lust for refreshment.
------------------------
No. 42 - Air Conditioner
------------------------
Place found: Chomp Ruins (Secret Door)
Size: 1.5x1.5
...Research Notes....
While researchers claim that this device
has a cooling effect, skeptics abound.
If anything, toting this thing around
would probably make you look uncool.
---------------------
No. 43 - Refrigerator
---------------------
Place found: The Enigmansion
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
Once thought to be a transportation
pod for northern Toads, this thing has
since proven to be a very effective
storage unit for management's lunch.
-------------
No. 44 - Soda
-------------
Place found: Drybake Desert
Size: 1x1
...Research Notes....
Apparently, whatever mad scientist
created this thing thought it would be
funny to load liquid into a highly
pressurized container. Ha ha.
...Research Notes....
In its current state, this liquid launcher
is but a memory of wars long past.
But load it with water, and it becomes
more terrifying than you can imagine.
...Research Notes....
There's been some speculation that this
enormous synthetic duck suggests a
past when Toads rode on birds, but
this theory has been roundly ridiculed.
=======================
Third Floor - Left Door
=======================
--------------------
No. 47 - Powder Puff
--------------------
Place found: Shy Guy Jungle
Size: 1x1
...Research Notes....
Luxurious, if a bit dusty, this lush body
pillow was likely reclined upon by
royalty. It even SMELLS like royalty.
...Research Notes....
The bed of choice for Toads afflicted
with night sweats, this revolutionary
mattress is as comfortable as it is
absorbent. Treat yourself today!
-------------------
No. 49 - Car Sponge
-------------------
Place found: Rugged Road
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
This liquid transporter can carry an
absolutely unbelievable amount of
whatever beverage you prefer, but be
warned: it gets HEAVY and MESSY.
---------------
No. 50 - Pillow
---------------
Place found: Loop Loop River (Secret Door)
Size: 1x1
...Research Notes....
This piece of emergency-response
equipment helps fire brigades rescue
people from high buildings. It's also
crucial for battling nap attacks.
------------
No. 51 - Bed
------------
Place found: Water's Edge Way (Secret Door)
Size: 1.5x1.5
...Research Notes....
While this thing resembles a common
bed, it makes the typical paper bed of
management's childhood look like a
crumpled-up piece of used paper towel.
----------------------
No. 52 - Luxurious Bed
----------------------
Place found: Long Fall Falls (Secret Door)
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
This thing cannot be a bed. It has some
bed-like characteristics, but there's no
way--it's too nice. If you slept in that,
you'd dream of that exact same bed.
======================
Top Floor - Right Door
======================
-------------
No. 53 - Tape
-------------
Place found: Tree Branch Trail (Secret Door)
Size: 1x1
...Research Notes....
A variation of this thing has long been
used by Toad security forces to restrain
ne'er-do-wells. It should not be used on
your little brother. I MEAN IT!
...Research Notes....
It's not uncommon for the younger
generation of Toads to get paper
piercings, but in general, they don't use
something that affixes them to a wall.
----------------
No. 55 - Stapler
----------------
Place found: The Enigmansion
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
This antiaircraft battery launches
twin-pronged missiles when propped
open but mangles the ordnance when
fired in the prone position.
-----------------
No. 56 - Fishhook
-----------------
Place found: Outlook Point (Secret Door)
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
We know what this thing is: a hook.
What we don't know is what terrors of
the deep inspired a fisherman to make
something so huge. And what of bait?
...Research Notes....
Friction tests conducted on this
flotation transport resulted in one of
the worst Toad pile-ups in memory.
Every scientist was stuck to this thing.
...Research Notes....
While this thing can theoretically
manipulate time, every effort to use it
to go back and avert that unfortunate
chowder incident has failed.
=======================
Top Floor - Middle Door
=======================
...Research Notes....
It's not uncommon to see a cat offering
up a high-five--hence this sculpture.
We believe the symbol may mean
"Down low! You're too slow."
------------------
No. 60 - High Heel
------------------
Place found: Wiggler's Tree House
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
This single-Toad sleeping chamber offers
the snug fit and steep reclining angle
popularized by certain celebrities.
Trust us, it's really not comfortable.
...Research Notes....
This statue of a voracious goat seems
cute at first but becomes unsettling.
We're pretty sure it moved this one
time. And we swear we heard a baa.
...Research Notes....
This giant prehistoric bird was prepared
for a feast. That much is quite clear.
But was it brined? What kind of rub?
Critical questions remain unanswered.
-------------
No. 63 - Cake
-------------
Place found: The Enigmansion
Size: 2x2
...Research Notes....
A dessert of such magnitude comes
around once in a long while, which is
why this one is under surveillance.
Step away from the display, sir.
-----------------
No. 64 - Boom Box
-----------------
Place found: Wiggler's Tree House
Size: 1.5x1.5
...Research Notes....
This portable party machine requires
two Toads to transport, but it's well
worth the effort if one wishes to rock
anytime and anywhere.
-----------------------------
All Battle Stickers Collected
-----------------------------
If you manage to find all the Battle Stickers, talk to the Green Toad who runs
the Museum. He'll open up a new room at the back of the Museum that contains
a viewer that looks like those touristy pay-to-view binoculars you always seem
to find on vacations and trips to the zoo. Oddly enough, that's exactly what
it is. Pay one coin and you'll get a very short period of time to watch all
the enemies in the game frolick in their natural habitat, doing what they
like best - beating up Mario. Or at least a cardboard cutout on a stick that
looks like Mario. Just keep pressing 'A' to scroll through the enemies one at
a time, and with any luck you'll reach the one you were looking for before it
spontaneously shuts down. You didn't think one coin would buy you a lot of
time on the binoculars did you? Let someone else take their turn!
----------------------------
All Thing Stickers Collected
----------------------------
Once you collect all the Thing Stickers, talk to the Green Toad who runs the
Museum. He'll open up a new room at the back of the Museum that contains a
big red curtain, four giant speakers, and a really comfortable sofa to kick
back back on and relax to the background music from the game. (Note: the sofa
will only fit Mario. Go find your own.) As you scroll through the playlist,
an image from the level or cutscene that matches the song currently being
played will display on the screen that was hidden behind the curtain, which
is a rather nice touch. However, there is no back button on this music player,
which means that you'll be stuck listening to whichever song comes next when
the playlist automatically continues at the end of the tune... Prepare to do
a lot of button mashing to reach the song you want to play, and hope you don't
accidentally skip it or you'll have to start from the beginning again.
But at least it's free, right?!
