January 25, 2005 / v1.0 -  Date of first submission to IGN, with the FAQ
consisting of 19 movies, alphabetically arranged,
along with year of release, director, major stars,
genre, sourced popular and critical rating, and any
further comments. An Introduction section includes
motivation for creating this FAQ and interest in
this subject. A Basics/Overview section describes
the content and context of the FAQ.

May 2, 2005 / v1.1 -       So I finished the game in which I would write down
all of the movies. I don't remember the exact date,
but it was at least a couple months ago. From the
prison scene onward (v1.0 posting) 12 movies were
written down, bringing the total to 31. I got 3 more
from e-mail submissions, which I did not notice get
in the game. Acknowledgements are given for that.
This brings the total number of movies to 34. New
                          features will be added soon.

May 4, 2005 / v1.1 -       Submission to GameFaqs. My IGN name: tuncrypt,
                          GameFAQs name: Mind-Games.

-----------------
II. Introduction
-----------------

One of the redeeming features (if not the only redeeming feature) of Metal
Gear Solid 3's radio system was the post-save discussions with Para-Medic.
After exhausting her film knowledge on my first playthrough (and not paying
much attention), I thought 'Hey, I should go see these movies someday'. And to
do that, I'd play again, and write down all of the movies... since there were a
lot of them. But, taking it one step further, I thought 'Hey, since I'm writing
them all down, I might as make an easy, nifty little FAQ as well.' So that's
what I'm doing. Being quite the avid FAQ user, I thought that I might as well
contribute my share with something unique and useful. I know it would be for
me. So here it is. Enjoy.

-----------------
III. Basics/Overview
-----------------

If you don't know already, this FAQ is about the movies that the Para-Medic
character talks about. After saving your game, she'll talk about a movie she
saw and likes, in the sci-fi/war/spy/epic/western vein, released in or before
August 1964 (when Snake Eater takes place).

So how does one see this for themselves? You must be dying to know. Well,
here's how: During the game, press the SELECT button to activate the radio. In
this screen, press DOWN, either on the D-PAD or DUAL SHOCK analog joystick, to
bring up a list of the people you can receive assistance from on your solo
sneaking mission. Using the D-PAD or DUAL SHOCK analog joystick, select one of
these two frequencies and press the circle button to talk to Para-Medic. The
frequencies are...

145.73 -Here she'll talk about healing, eating, and all things mission-related.

140.96 -The usual MGS saving frequency. Para-Medic is your mission data saver
in this game. After calling and then saving, she'll initiate a
movie-related discussion. They go along the lines of

Para-Medic: "Snake, have you seen (some movie)?"
       Snake     : "Can't say I have."
       Para-Medic: "Well, it's great. It's about (what it's about). I LOVED
the effects. The (battle/chase/something big) at the end
was simply amazing. I had no idea they could recreate
these things. This is why you should believe in the power
                    of movies."

If you don't end up saving, or she has run out of movies, her response
will be something like "Chin up." or "I'm behind you 100%."

Sooooo, in this FAQ you will find a list of every movie that Para-Medic talks
about, as well as those mentioned by other characters. Along with the names of
movies, other information can be found here, such as year of release, director,
actors, etc. More features will be added with each update.

*Current features for each title are the year of release, director, major actors
or actresses, genre/category (IMDb), IMDb User Rating, and Rotten Tomatoes
critical rating.*

Comment: Widely considered to be one of the worst, if not THE worst, movie of
