______________________________________________________________________________

                          I. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW [THING]

______________________________________________________________________________

Nearly every Lego game features the same underlying system: several story
levels with collectables that you can only get during free play, different
classes of characters required to unlock everything, true ____ status, etc.
If you're new to the Lego series or simply want to see how the formula has
trascribed to Lego Batman 2, this section is a required read. I will assume
that you know and are following these tips during the story and freeplay
walkthroughs.

*Nearly everything in the world is breakable and will produce studs (money)
which will be required to get both True Hero and purchase the collectables
later on. If it looks LEGO, 9 times out of 10 you can break it. If not,
it's either scenery or important. You'll need all the studs you can get,
so break everything you see!

*While you should certainly try to collect every stud you can and work your
way towards True Hero, don't spend too much time looking for that last stud
to push you over. Also, if you don't get True Hero on your first try, it's
not worth it to go back and do it again. Trust me, once we get the multiplier
bricks, True Hero will become a breeze, so don't worry too much about it yet.

*Speaking of stud multipliers, you should save all the studs you get in
preperation for the score multipliers. While they may cost 100K~20M, they
are absolutely worth every penny. Just think, levels where you may have
gotten 15K on a runthrough will net you 30K with just the 2X. Imagine when
you have all 5 and have x3840! If you can resist the impulse to purchase new
chars/hints/bricks until after the multipliers, they'll more than make up for
it.

*Unlike the console versions, story and free play have seperate True Hero bars.
Keep that in mind if you're wondering why you're at 99.2% later in the game.

*If you see collectables and can't get them, there's a good chance you have to
return with a special character class in free play. Just note it and move on.

*Try not to look for collectables while you're running through the story. 90%
of the levels have free play only collectables that require certain character
classes that are unobtainable in story. If you're gonna have to come back,
why not just wait until you have to do it later and do it all at once? There
are a few exceptions to this, but they will be noted in the story walkthroughs
in obvious sections.

*There are several character classes in this game that are required to get all
the collectables. Just like the Jedi class in Lego Star Wars or the Death
Eaters in Harry Potter, Lego Batman 2 has it's own set of classes. Below are
the classes and my recommended characters that I will be using during the
walkthrough (by order of availibility):

   -Acrobats (Can wall jump, hops through chutes): Robin
   -Explosions (Destroys silver objects): Batman (Power Suit)/Green Lantern
   -Super Strength (Pulls orange handles): Batman (Power Suit)/Superman
   -Wall Walker (Can walk up magnet walls): Robin (Magnet Suit)
   -Spill Cleaner (Cleans up spills, puts out fires): Robin (Hazard Suit)
   -Vine Remover (Removes vines): Poison Ivy
   -Electric Transfer (Walk in electricity, Transfer electricity from hubs):
                       Batman (Electric Suit)
   -Laser Vision (Destroys gold objects, cuts through wires, destroys
                  red lego walls): Superman
   -Flyers (Can fly up red arrows): Superman
   -Freezers (Can freeze liquid water): Superman
   -Green Builder (Builds green blocks): Green Lantern
   -Swimmers (Can swim underwater): Aquaman
   -Super Speed (Destroys treadmills): The Flash
   -Deconstructor (Destroys black walls): Lex Luthor

*The Batcave will become available after completing the first level, which
acts as your overworld hub. You can access the character creator to the
left of the starting point, the shop right in front of your starting point,
the Justice League missions all the way up top on the left and the story mode
to the right near the Batmobile. If you need a quick supply of studs, you
can always return here and collect the ones that are scattered around the
hub.

*Unlike the other games in the series, characters that need to be purchased
are not unlocked after missions nor are they found as tokens in levels.
Instead, characters are unlocked by collecting minikits (which is why there
are only 5 minikits per level now). They still need to be purchased, but
they are a little more hidden in this installment.

*Most levels require you to use the Batarang (or use powers) to complete them
fully. To use it, press and hold the Square/Y button until a small circle
shows up on the screen. Move over the targets you want to fire at and
release to use it. To use a special power (such as explosives or heat
vision), press and hold Circle/B.

                           II. STORY WALKTHROUGHS                     [STORY]

______________________________________________________________________________

Welcome to the story walkthrough, which will help you through beating all 14
story levels. I'll show you the True Hero stud count you need to reach, as
well as any characters you unlock from beating the story mode. I will also
put in little sections that will show you how to unlock the Vita trophies,
though it's not required to do so. Please note that there may be SPOILERS
from here on out, so if you don't want anything spoiled, TURN BACK NOW.

AGAIN SPOILERS FROM HERE ON OUT.

Thank you, now onto the walkthrough!

TRUE HERO:          40,000
CHARS UNLOCKED: Batman, Batman (Sensor Suit), Robin
------------------------------------------------------------------

As soon as you start up the game, you're shown a cutscene of Lex
Luthor and Bruce Wayne chatting over the Man of the Year award, of
which this ceremony is for. Once the cutscene is over, you'll be
thrown in the middle of the fray. Your objective here is to defeat
15 enemies to make Harley Quinn reveal herself. Four of them
immediately rush you once the level starts. If you want to make
quick work of them, pick them up with Circle/A and throw them with
Square/Y. Keep in mind that smashing everything is a good idea, as
you'll certainly want the studs later on down the road. Pick up the
loose studs too. Once you're ready, we'll search for the remaining
villains. (If you find Bane's sound bite, don't fret. Just
remember that you've already found it when we return for free play).

Head over to the bottom right corner and four more enemies will
rush at you (8/15). If you're trying to destroy the tables but
find that some won't break down all the way, it's because they're
made of silver underneath and won't break till we return in free
play with explosives. Head to the top right corner for two more
enemies (10/15) and break the piano to create a pile of buildable
Lego bricks. Press and hold Circle/A to build a set of stairs.
Get into the habit of breaking everything you see. I know I just
told you about it, but trust me, every little bit counts in the
end, especially when we're just a few studs shy of a multiplier
brick.

Head up the stairs and two more enemies will rappel down to you.
You know what to do (12/15). Once you get to the podium in the
center, another one will come to attack you (13/15). Did I
mention to break everything you see? Cause it's really important.
You Vita players can even pick up a trophy if you collect 40,000
studs in one go, but don't go out of your way to retry if you
miss the mark.

Go to the left corner of the stage to find the final two enemies
just waiting to get a thrashing from you (15/15). Once the last
enemy is broken, Harley Quinn will come down and start swinging
her hammer. Go down and meet her but don't get too close! Use
your Batarang (Square/Y) to hit her from a distance, which makes
her jump to the right and takes a chunk of her health away.
Same thing on the right side: Batarang her from afar and she'll
jump to the stage. Head up the stairs and shoot her one final
time and she'll jump on the golden statue, which opens up a
target shaped circuit breaker. Hmm...interesting. Go over to
the right when the cutscene ends and shoot the target with your
Batarang. She'll hop to the left one, so follow her and shoot
the left target.

The jolt will send her flying through a trap door in the stage,
opening a new area to travel. Collect the gold studs and follow
her down into the new area.

         AREA 2

____________________________

The Riddler will greet you as the game tells you Harley Quinn has
been defeated. Cool: one down, three to go! Collect the studs in
this room and take note of the instruments and their odd colors.
See the three targets on the wall to the right? Hold down the
Square/Y button and target all three of them, then let go. You'll
unlock some sheet music: blue, purple, yellow, red. Hmm...maybe
this is a clue? The sounds should give it away too, but if not,
play the blue gong on the left by walking to the blue circle in
front of it and pressing Circle/A. Then run over to the purple
Piano to the right (wait for the gong to finish playing so the blue
circle will show up) and play that. Then play the yellow tuba to
the left of the piano and finally the red Cello in the center.
The sheet music will pull back to reveal a blue hatch.

Switch to Robin with Triangle/X and use the hatch to reach an area
below where you just were. Break the crates and build the pile of
bricks to create a ladder, which allows Batman to jump down to the
area as well. Stand in front of one of the switches and press
Circle/A, which should cause your partner to run over and help.
If they were mistimed or you haven't built the ladder yet, the lever
will fail (they have to be thrown at around the same time). A door
above you will open so head up the ladder and go through.

____________________________

         AREA 3

____________________________

As soon as you walk in, there will be a jail cell with an orange
handle. Ignore it (we need super strength to open it, which we'll
do when we return in free play). Keep going and you'll see the
Riddler disappear. Destroy the Riddler goons so they don't bother
you and you'll get a shiny new key. Pick it up and use it in the
crank to your left (the game will show you were) and hold Circle/A
to continue cranking it, which lowers a door in front of you. Take
a look around before you continue (ignore the red wall, we need heat
vision for that). Notice how every time we try and continue, the
camera catches us and puts up a wall? We'll need to collect a
special new suit to get past it.

Return to the door we opened and you'll find a blue circle. Press
Circle/A to fire your grapple hook into it, pulling down the crate
and destroying it, leaving a pile of bricks to build. If you hadn't
guessed yet, build it (this isn't called LEGO Batman for nothing!).
Pull the lever you create and the curtain to the left will pull
back, revealing an acrobat wall. If you're not playing as Robin
still, switch back and wall jump up the wall, either with X/B or
by pressing Circle/A until you reach the top. Break the crate and
build the grapple point to allow Batman to grapple up then run over
to the right. See those poles sticking out of the wall? Acrobat
characters use those to swing to new locations. Double jump up to
them and jump from pole to pole until you land next to a lever.
Pull it to make a bridge appear for Batman. But what's this? It's
too short! Guess we're gonna have to glide! Switch to Batman,
jump up and hold X/B to glide over to the bridge. Follow the path
to the edge and fall onto the suit change to become...Sensor Suit
Batman!

Sensor Suit Batman has a few new powers we should note. First, he
can become invisible by pressing Circle/A (which helps us solve our
current camera dilemma!). Second, he can see through walls,
allowing us to fix wires (which comes in handy later). Hop down
and use Sensor Suit Batman's new power to become invisible. Since
he's invisible, the camera will no longer see us when we walk to the
right and we can freely walk into the room we saw the Riddler in.
Pull the lever inside to disable the camera, allowing Robin to
follow us. Once you're done breaking things and collecting the
studs (you ARE doing that right?), jump up onto one of the hanging
rods and Robin will do the same with the other, opening your way
to the next area.

____________________________

         AREA 4

____________________________

It's time to take down The Riddler! Collect the studs and you'll
see three safes with question marks on them. Looks like we're
gonna have to find him! It's time to use the other power of the
Sensor Suit: X-Ray! Run up to the safes and search them until you
find Riddler. He'll disappear, breaking the safe and sending a
good after you. Defeat the goon and search the remaining two for
him. When you find him, he'll send out two goons. Defeat them and
search the remaining safe. Once you defeat the last goon, the
Riddler will come down the elevator with two goons and throw a
switch, electrifying the elevator. Defeat the two goons and smack
The Riddler around until it shows he is defeated. Two down, one
last one to go! Grab the keycard he dropped and use it on the
terminal by the elevator, unelectrifying the elevator. Get on
and throw the switch.

Joker goons greet you this time around, so give them a good welcome
by grappling them and throwing them to the ground! Once they're
gone, use the grapple point to the left to grapple the statue with
your partner, bringing it crashing down! You can destroy the
remnants of it for extra studs, but the hat will give you the parts
necessary to build a lever. Throw it to start a fan, leading to
the top floor. When you're done exploring for studs, hit the
target in the center with your Batarang to lower two more hanging
rods. These will open the door downstairs, which you should take.

         AREA 6

____________________________

The Penguin is your guest here and you'll notice that the support
beams are made from shiny silver, which can only be destroyed by
explosives (if you destroyed the tables, you'll know what it looks
like already). While normally you'd have to return in free play
with an explosives character, this time around you'll be able to
use the Penguin's powers against him.

Notice how he's sending penguin bombs after you? Hit them with
your Batarang from a distance and they'll freeze up. Grab them
with Circle/A and hold the button down to bring up a targeting
circle. Target one of the shiny silver pillars and release to
throw the explosive penguin into it, destroying it. Repeat three
more times and you'll take down Penguin. Just don't wait too
long or they'll explode automatically. Build the Lego pile and
grapple up to the second floor, following the stud trail to the
next area.

____________________________

         AREA 7

____________________________

The Joker is waiting here for you and blows up the way you came in.
Guess we're not going back any time soon. He'll send Mimes after
you, which can't be grappled, so mash Square/Y to beat them down the
old fashioned way. Continue all the way to the right, where you'll
find a blue circle in front a blue wall and two wheels on either
side. Ignore it momentarily and destroy the vending machine to the
right of it. This will give you a build pile, which builds a
generator to the blue wall we just saw. Awesome! Now use Batman
to look through the wall and you'll see that things aren't connected
right. Lazy electricians! Good thing they left us an easy way to
fix it!

While you're looking through the wall with Batman, switch to Robin
and use the wheels on both sides until the pipes line up perfectly
(should be once per wheel). The electricity can finally flow
through, opening up the Joker's hiding place, who is riding a
camera that doubles as a rocket launcher. The 3D effect is a little
too real and can curve towards you, so watch out for it and keep
moving side to side. When you get a chance to, whip out your
Batarang and shoot it at the Joker. A great way to do this is to
stand directly behind your partner (though watch out if he dies).
Keep shooting Joker with your Batarang until the heart drains and
his camera spirals out of control, destroying the wall behind him.
Follow the stud trail to it and jump through to complete the level.

HINT: You now have access to the Batcave, which has quite a bit of
studs to collect, as well as a store to buy new things and a
character creator. You also unlock free play for this mission,
but hold off on it until you've finished the story mode. Also,
be sure to save your studs for the multiplier red bricks. You'll
thank me later!

Now that you've unlocked the Batcave, there are two trophies that
can be unlocked at the moment. The first is The Big Brick Theory
which is unlocked by creating a character. Head over to the left

------------------------------------------------------------------

When the game loads, you'll be put outside a large building. The
objective here is to get three different parts for Robin's
helicopter to repair it. Head left and destroy the fire hydrant
to reveal a blue grapple point circle. Use it to take down the
poster and build the lego pile to make a new suit change for Batman:
Power Suit Batman! This new suit gives you two new powers: Super
Strength to pull those orange handles you've seen around and
grenades that can blow up silver objects. Cool, that will come in
handy! Go ahead and break the stuff to the left for the studs and
return to the start point.

See those two shiny silver objects to the right of the door? Press
Circle/A to launch a grenade into them and blow them up. The silver
telescope will reveal a lego pile that allows you to build a new
suit change for Robin: Magnet Suit! This suit also has two powers:
the first is that it lets you walk up magnet walls (of which one is
to the left of the suit change where we blew up the silver gate).
The second power is a stud magnet, which attracts studs to you if
you hold Circle/A.

Before we head up the magnet wall, look to the right of the magnet
wall and past the suit change. See that gold cage with a silver
gate covering an electrified area? Blow it up with your grenades.
While you're at it, go behind it and blow up the silver picture
frame of the Traveler's Tales logo and build the Lego pile to
create a lever. This won't do anything right now, but later on
it will help us get back to the roof.

Return to the magnet wall and switch to Robin. Walk up the wall
and to the left and jump off onto the second floor. There's
another magnet wall here, but it's missing a section. Is there
anything nearby that might be hiding the section? Smash the
gargoyle to reveal a grapple point and use it to bring down the
grate, revealing a pile of magnet planks. Build them and you'll
repair the magnet wall, so go ahead and climb up to the third floor
now. You'll notice that the gap is too wide to cross and the path
to the right leads nowhere. Guess we're stuck and have to play
something else! ...Just kidding. If you stand near the gargoyle
on the right side of the ledge, you'll notice a small target off in
the distance. Hit it with your Batarang. This will lower the rod
above you, so jump up and hang onto it. The curtain to your left
will rise and create a grapple point for you, so head across to the
left.

You'll notice the magnet wall here, but it's more of a bridge at
the moment. How can we fix it? Remember what we did last time?
Smash that gargoyle and build the pile that it creates to make a
wheel that raises the magnet wall. Cool, now we can get up to the
next floor! Climb to the top and jump off to the ledge. Use the
grapple point to swing across the gap and build the pile to create
a circuit breaker. This will unelecrify the lift we opened earlier
and raise the magnet wall in front of you so you can climb up to
the roof.

Obviously Batman has to get up here to continue our search for
parts as all three paths require Power Suit Batman to continue.
However, one part is right in front of you to grab (the red tool
box with the R on it). Pick it up with Circle/A and hop off the
roof to the right to the ground below. Hurry and pick up the tools
again when you fall and place it in the middle. It will create a
pile for you to build and several goons will rush you (1/3). Defeat
the goons and build the pile, then switch to Batman and enter the
lift we just unelectrified and pull the lever to return to the roof.
Blow up the silver gargoyle statue for a lever (this returns the
lift to the roof if you should ever leave it on the ground floor).
Similarly, the lever we built earlier returns the lift to the
ground floor if we fall off and need to return to the roof.

Blow up the silver gate on the magnet wall (take note of this for
later) and then pull the orange handle on the gate to the right.
Climb up the ladder and blow up the two silver pipes to release
another Robin tool box. Pick it up and jump down to the roof below
you (if you try to jump to the helicopter like last time, you'll
instantly kill yourself). Hurriedly pick up the box again before
it returns back up the ladder and jump down from the roof to the
helicopter below (or take the lift if you want to do it the safe
way). Place the box on the left circle and it will create another
pile for you to build and summon more goons. Defeat the goons and
build the parts then switch to Robin (2/3).

more likely than not, Robin will be stuck inbetween floors so hop
down to the ground and summon the lift (if you left it on the roof).
Head back up to the roof and take the magnet wall we cleared with
Batman. The final tool box will be here, so grab it and jump off
the edge to the left. Pick it back up and carry it to the
helicopter, placing it on the last green circle. Defeat the goons
again and build the pile to complete Robin's helicopter (3/3).

We're now in a parking lot fighting the Joker, who is firing at us
from his boat. We're gonna have to build three contraptions to hit
him, as anytime we get near he shoots us with purple gas. For some
reason, we've also lost our suit powers, so we're gonna have to go
look for those again. See the big box to the Joker's left? Hit it
three times to reveal Robin's suit change and he will get back his
Magnet Suit. To the right of Joker is another box that looks
exactly like the other. This one houses Batman's Power Suit.

Head to the bottom left corner of the map and fire a grenade at the
shiny silver car there to create two Lego piles. Build them both
to make a cannon and an orange handled push bar. Use the push bar
to align the cannon and then pull the orange handles on the cannon
to fire it at the Joker's boat, taking 1/3 of his life away and
summoning goons. Defeat them and head to the top right corner.

Hmm...that car looks awfully familiar...maybe we should blow it up
too? Do so and build the pile to create a strength test game!
With Power Suit Batman, this should be a fairly easy carnival game
to win, so why not take a break and test your luck by pressing
Circle/A on it? ...Whoops! We were so strong that the bell flew
off and hit Joker! It also causes the wall nearby to fall down,
revealing a magnet wall to climb (and several goons we should
defeat).

Switch to Robin and climb the magnet wall to find a second magnet
wall. Climb it also to get to the roof and collect all the studs
here. If you want more studs (which you should), jump down to the
back left to find 3200 studs (make sure you climb back up to the
roof afterwards). When you're ready, use the wheel in the middle
of the roof to drop the ball on Joker, defeating him and finishing
the level.

CHARS UNLOCKED:     Robin (Hazard Suit)
------------------------------------------------------------------

This level is very maze like, but it's pretty simple and shouldn't
be that confusing. The main objective this time is to whither the
vines with weed killer, which can be done by activating the giant
silver tanks. KEEP THE LOCATION OF THESE TANKS IN MIND. You will
need to return to them to unlock a vital character for free play,
which we will be getting now (instead of waiting for free play, as
it's necessary to get this character to complete free play).

First off, run to the right and destroy the purple cylinder to
create a Lego pile. Build it and you'll create a purple sprinkler.
We need to activate it for it to kill the vine, however, so head
south until you see one of the silver tanks I mentioned earlier.
Activate it to turn on the sprinkler and kill the vine. Head back
up and past the sprinkler and a large red plant will emerge from
the ground, spraying toxic gas around itself. We'll have to defeat
it to continue, as the gas will kill us every time we try to walk
past it. Hold your Batarang on it's center and when it opens it's
leaves, fire it to kill it instantly. Wait till the studs appear
before trying to cross and continue following the stud trail.

When the plant monsters pop out of the ground, ignore them and
follow the stud trail to the right and down, where more plant
monsters pop out of the ground. Keep going until you reach a hatch
and a large pile of toxic goo. Switch to Robin and use the hatch,
defeating any plant monsters that are making your life hard on the
way. You'll reach a new suit change: Hazard Suit Robin! Hazard
Suit Robin has three functions: the first is he can walk across
toxic goo (like that which you see in front of you). The second is
that he can absorb liquid and use it with his hose, such as using
water to clean up toxic goo piles. The third (which we won't use
until later), is that he can sink underwater like a scuba diver.

Run across the goo and defeat any plant monsters that are there,
running back to the silver tank we passed. Before we activate it,
run across the toxic goo to find another purple canister and a tank
of water. Jump in the tank to fill your suit up with water and
destroy the canister to build another sprinkler. Make sure you
spray down the toxic goo with Circle/A until it's all gone to make
things a little easier later. You're now free to activate the
silver tank, which destroys the vine below us. Head back across the
now toxic goo free path to where we destroyed the vine and continue,
destroying the plant monsters. Hmm...this tank sure is easy this
time! The sprinkler is already set up and the tank is right next
to it! Activate it to destroy the vine and open up a path to a
Power Suit change for Batman.

and follow the path up and to the right. Below the silver gate is
the final tank. The minikit will appear at the end of the path to
the upper left. Head up through the gap and follow the path to
the left to grab the minikit, which unlocks Poison Ivy for

DO NOT BUY HER, HOWEVER. WAIT UNTIL WE START FREE PLAY. That way

Catwoman and Poison Ivy will greet you as you walk in, but Catwoman
will run off, leaving Poison Ivy behind a plant shield. Using your
Batarang won't work this time, so we'll have to find more of that
weed killer. Defeat the plant monsters and two toxic plants will
pop up on the left and right. Defeat the plant monsters that rush
you and then kill the plants before they respawn for two lego piles.
Build them to create a sprinkler and an orange handle behind a pile
of toxic goo. Jump in the fountain as Robin to fill his suit up
with water, then use it to remove the toxic goo pile. Switch to
Batman and pull the orange handle to open the doors, building the
pile to create a lawnmower that removes the vine covering a wheel.
Turn the wheel to release the weed killer that defeats Poison Ivy
and creates a build pile for a Sensor Suit change.

Catwoman comes out of hiding when you change and promptly
disappears. Your sensor suit can detect invisible enemies, so
walk around until you see three lines above Batman's head and
investigate the area until Catwoman reappears. Smack her around
and she'll go back into hiding. Repeat this process three times and
she'll finally call it quits, leaving behind a key. Pick it up and
use it on the crank to lower the gate. Head in.

____________________________

Two Face is waiting in this area and sends his goons after you when
you enter. Defeat them and head right until you see a multicolored
dynamite plunger. Destroy it and build the pile to create an
orange handle push lever. Hmm...does it seem like we have to use
Power Suit Batman again here? Continue right until you see a weird
generator like object just to the right. Destroy it to find the
suit change that will finally let us become Power Suit Batman.
Before we head back, continue to the right to find a second plunger
and some goons. Destroy the plunger and the goons, then build the
pile to create an orange handle for the pillar. Push it back to
the wall and then go back to the orange handle push lever and use
it to turn the other pillar sideways. Finally, hold Circle/A and
target the silver grate on the wall to the left to destroy it and
switch to Robin. Climb the wall and head to the suit change to
become normal Robin.

Return to where we turned the first pillar and you'll see a
circular platform with a stud trail leading to the turned pillar.
Hop up as Robin and follow the stud trails to a grapple point (being
careful not to fall down as you do so). Defeat the goon and walk
to the left, watching as the goon falls down to the ground. You
can double jump over to the rod and fight the goon, but it's not
necessary so jump down to the ground and build the orange handle
the goon dropped. Switch to Batman, who will cause a domino effect
and open up the pathway to the right. Go through it.

         AREA 4

____________________________

Pull the orange handle near where you start to get a suit change,
which changes you back to normal Batman, which is needed to glide
over the gap to the right. Do so and crank the wheel to create
acrobat poles for Robin. Climb up the ladder and run right to find
Two Face, who blows a hole in the wall. Man, can't he just learn
to play nice? Guess we'll have to fix it!

If you're keen, you'll also notice that the pillars supporting Two
Face are made of silver steel. If only we hadn't had to glide over!
But we'll make it work. Jump up the acrobat wall as Robin and head
to the right, building the grapple point for Batman. Hop over the
gap, defeating the goons and building the pile to patch the leak.
Two Face will shrug and several of his goons will appear. Great.
Guess we'll have to show them who's boss! Do so, but beware the
bald one as you can't grapple him. Once all are dead though the
last goon will drop TNT, so pick it up and stick it on one of the
silver poles. Guess we don't need Power Suit Batman after all!

More goons will come to aid their boss, so show them why villains
never win in Lego games and you'll get a second batch of TNT.
Stick it on the other pole and they'll explode, sending Two Face
tumbling down and defeating him and ending the level.

CHARS UNLOCKED: Batman (Electric Suit), Robin (Ice Suit)
------------------------------------------------------------------

You'll notice when you start the level that there's a suit change
for Robin above you. Unfortunately, no matter how much you attack
the garbage beneath it, it won't lower. However, that target next
to it looks suspicious. Try hitting it with your Batarang. That
worked! Change into Hazard Suit Robin and hop in the water in the
middle of the map to fill your suit. Put out the fire to your left
as well as the two fires to the right and collect all the studs that
drop. Continue on to the right and hop in the water to sink to the
bottom. Collect the studs and break the items but make sure not to
venture too far right or the giant fan will destroy you instantly.
Instead, head left and build the lever. Pull it to open a door
and raise a new suit change for Batman: Electric Suit Batman!
Electric Suit Batman is impervious to electricity and can transfer
electricity between two switches, powering devices with it.

As ElectriC Suit Batman, cross the elecrified pipes and follow the
path until you find your first electric switch (it's next to the
wheelchair). Use it to take the electricity from it, powering down
the fan and allowing Robin to pass by it. Notice how Batman now
has a charge around him? We can use that to power other switches.
Ignore the multicolored wires (we need heat vision for those) and
switch to Robin, passing by the deactivated fan and building the
piles, creating platforms for Batman. You'll also be introduced to
Killer Croc, who plays a minor role in this game. Destroy the
seaweed in front of the lever and pull it, lowering an electric
switch.

Swap to Batman and jump across the platforms. Don't worry if you
fall into the water. For some reason, Batman won't electrocute
anyone when he does so (who says Batman doesn't have powers?) and
you can simply jump back onto the platforms from the water. Jump
up to the right, where there's a rod you can hang from. Use it to
jump over the electrified pipe and reach the electric switch we
lowered with Robin. Activate it to cook a chicken for Killer Croc,
who leaves his area to eat the chicken and ignores you as he messily
devours it. Guess he was hungry! We're free to explore his area
as Robin now, so switch to him.

Go to the right and into Killer Croc's area, where you'll notice
two wheels that need to be activated at the same time to work. How
are we gonna get Batman down here when he can't swim? Well, destroy
the arch on the left side of the room. At first, it will seem as if
you can't destroy it but if you start on the right, you'll
eventually take it down and leave a pile that can be built into a
lever. Pull it and the water will drain, allowing Batman to jump
down. Try turning the wheel again and it will open up the door.
Go through it.

In here, go ahead and collect the studs, then grab the electricity
from the switch. Next to it, destroy the large lego object to
reveal a Robin suit change, returning him to normal and allowing
him to use the acrobat wall you just opened. Up here, build the
rest of the pipe on the left to trigger the lever on the ground
floor. Hop down, hugging the left wall and you'll collect some
studs. Hop down from here and throw the lever to solidify the
waterfall, allowing Batman and Robin to climb up it.

Switch to Batman and climb the frozen waterfall, walking up to the
electricity switch on the right side of the room. Transfer the
electricity to it to activate a heater, melting the ice on the
ladder.  Climb up it.

Mr. Freeze is waiting for you in here and sends his goons after you.
Man, how do these villains know where to find us and how many more
do we have to defeat before we get to Joker and Lex Luthor? Start
by grabbing the electricity on the left and transfering it to the
switch by the ice. You'll power a heater, which melts the ice on
the wheel, so use it. You'll start to overload the thermometer,
but not quite yet. Head over to the right and throw that wheel
switch, which blows up the wall, creating a waterfall and sending
Mr. Freeze down to our level. Smack him around until you defeat
him and he drops a card key. Grab it and follow the arrow to the
slot, which opens the pod containing a new suit change for Robin:
Ice Suit! This suit allows Robin to freeze enemies and water,
so test it out on the new waterfall we created. Climb up the
frozen waterfall and throw the switch, creating two water geysers.

Hop down to the ground and use your new freeze gun to solidify the

geysers. The stud path should clue you in on your next objective,
but if not, climb back up the waterfall and hop across the geysers
to the other side. Throw the switch to activate the heater,
unfreezing the elevator.  Take it.

         AREA 4

____________________________

Uh oh, another boss? Mad Hatter is waiting for you here, but he
doesn't pose a real threat. In fact, we don't even fight him
directly! Run over to the giant green hat and defeat all the goons.
Once they're defeated, the hat will collapse and create a pile that
becomes a suit change for Batman. Use it to become Sensor Suit
Batman and defeat the goons that are popping out of the other hat.
Once they're all defeated, the hat will create a pile that builds
into a wheel.

Using Sensor Suit Batman, head in front of the wall and use your
x-ray vision on it to see the wires. Switch to Robin and use the
wheel to realign them, causing a jolt of electricity to power the
security, electrocuting Mad Hatter and defeating him. Well that
was easy. Grab the studs and switch to Batman, following the stud
trail. Make sure to activate your stealth power or the camera will
electrocute you to death. Be careful too as this one detects heat,
so don't linger or it will still find you and electrocute you.
Once you're past it, run over to the terminal and hack it.

Since this is likely your first time doing so, let me explain. The
game randomly arranges three symbols in the top, bottom left and
bottom right corners. You have to memorize which symbol is in what
section. The game will then go blank and show you one symbol, which
you have to drag with your finger/stylus to it's correct location.
If not, you will fail and have to start over with new locations.

Once you finish, the security camera will deactivate, allowing Robin
to join you. Flip the lever and Robin should flip the other one,
opening the door.  Go through.

____________________________

         AREA 5

____________________________

We're in the jail area of Arkham, which means more security! These
are heat detectors too, so you'll have to move quick. Joy. Sneak
past the first camera and go in that cell. Destroy everything in
this room to find a suit change for Robin and a grapple point, which
tears down the wall and allows Robin to come through. Switch to
Robin and grab the Magnet Suit, walking up the nearby magnet wall
to the right and flipping the lever. This deactivates the lasers,
allowing Batman to continue sneaking past the cameras. Switch to
him and sneak past two cameras (keep in mind that they only detect
when you're on the metal floors near them). Shoot the two targets
with your Batarang, collapsing the cell door and allowing you
access to a Batman tool box. Carry it back towards the cameras and
drop it on the green circle, building the lever and using it.

Time for some sneaking Snake style! Switch to Robin and put on the
box. This allows you to sneak past the cameras, but keep in mind
that you're much slower wearing the box. Once you're past them,
take off the box and climb the magnet wall, flipping the switch at
the top. This deactivates the second wall of lasers, where convicts
wait with guns. Hop down and defeat them all then access the
terminal with Robin. Again, match the symbols to where they were
randomly generated to deactivate the security system and open the
door on the other side.

But before we can leave, Mr. Zsasz walks through and wants to fight.
What's with all the bosses here? This fight is similar to the
Catwoman fight. Mr. Zsasz will disappear and try to sneak attack
you. Move around until bars appear around your head. Once you get
to three, Mr. Zsasz will appear so beat him down until he hides
again. Make sure to defeat the convicts so they don't interfere
and once you do this three times, Mr. Zsasz falls, dropping a key
card. use it in the nearby door and go through.

Scarecrow is waiting here for us. I swear, this is the last boss
we have to fight here but it's a doozy of a fight. Start by
defeating the skeletons attacking you. Once they're all dead,
Scarecrow will appear and make the tentacle things in the corners
come to life and attack you. Wait until they drop down and get
stuck, then run up to them and attack. They'll glow green when
hit and once you defeat them, they'll go back to their corner and
remain motionless. If you wait too long, Scarecrow will summon more
skeletons. Defeat them but concentrate on the tentacle things.

Once they're both defeated, Scarecrow will make the chandelier
come to life and attack you. The same rules apply: dodge the
attack and attack back when it misses. Once it's done, the world
will shift and Scarecrow will appear so start beating him down.
Once you get three hits in, he starts distorting the world again.

Defeat the tentacle things once more, but watch out as Scarecrow
sends spiders to attack you this time. Once they're done, the
chandelier will come to life without warning. Defeat it to return
the world to normal again. Three more hits and he's done for, as
is the level.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Just so you know, this level is the longest in the entire game, but
at the end we'll get two things that will be well worth it: Superman
and the 2x multiplier. Superman is invincible (unless there's
kryptonite around), can fly up red arrows, can hover around, has
heat vision, can freeze water AND can walk across toxic goo without
being hurt. He'll be our main character in free play and is
powerful to the point of being unfair. The multiplier brick is
obviously one of the most important extras and will make things SO
much easier in the long run.

Our main goal at the moment is to activate five different machines
to get chemical samples. Head right and you'll see a suit change
for Robin behind glass. Ignore it and break the cube next to it,
building the pile to create a terminal. Change to Robin and use
it to open the pod to Robin's Hazard Suit change so grab it. Head
up the stairs and use the grapple point, which opens up the tank of
water. Hop in and flip the switch to raise the machine, then head
out of the water to the right and activate it (1/5). Goons will
drop in, so make them wish they hadn't. The last one will drop a
key card. Use it on the machine by the door, which opens so head
through

____________________________

Goons ambush you as soon as you walk through the door so make quick
work of them. Once they're gone, the mimes will notice you and kick
down a bridge to get to you. Obviously the Joker isn't hiring
anybody smart, as they don't even cross it and it will allow us to
venture further! Keep in mind that you can't grapple mimes as you
defeat them and flip the switch to the right with your partner,
revealing an Electric Suit change for Batman. Grab it and run
forward, watching as a Jack-in-the-box explodes, sending the
elevator crashing to the ground and starting a blaze. Robin should
still have water from the tank earlier, but if not, hop in the small
puddle beneath the raised ladder to refill your suit and put out
the fires.

The ladder is still electrified so switch to Batman and climb up,
taking the electricity from the switch at the top so Robin can climb
up too. Hop over to the grate with the studs and follow it around
to another electric switch. Activate it to open a gate to the
second machine, so activate that as well (2/5). Great, more
goons...but when they're dead, they drop a key card so take it back
to where we climbed up and use it in the machine to open up a water
tank.

This is obviously a Robin puzzle so switch to him and use the
wheel at the end to drain the water and open the door. Defeat the
mimes and destroy the Lego object in the upper right, building the
pile once you're done to get a Magnet Suit change for Robin. Get
it and climb up the magnet wall and jump left off the ledge at the
top to reach a small area with a double switch. Destroy the yellow
trash can and build the pile to make a grapple point then flip the
double switch to create a fan. Ride it up to the top and use the
double wheel to get the third sample (3/5). Some mimes rush in,
but go ahead and ignore them and run through the newly opened door.

         AREA 3

____________________________

A goon and a mime will jump down to fight you when you walk in, so
take care of them so they won't get in the way. Go down the steps
to find an electric switch and three different colored pools of
liquid. Guess we're using Hazard Suit Robin shortly, don't you
think? Run over and activate the machine just to the right of the
stairs to open the valves in front of the pools (4/5). Grab the
electricity from the switch on the left and carry it to the switch
on the right. This will raise a platform with a Hazard Suit
switch, so get it and run to the yellow pool to fill up your suit
with it. Jump out and hold down Circle/A to target the yellow
circle in front of you. Once the tank fills up, the valve will
close, so head over to the purple one next to you and repeat the
process. If you're targeting the circles and can't hit them, get
out of the pools and try again. Once the purple valve closes, go
over to the green pool and do it one final time. The tanks will
transfer to a larger tank and mix together, creating water, which
purifies the toxic lake next to us.

Switch to Batman and swim across, where you'll find an electrified
pipe that acts as a platform to the next area. Hop up and you'll
see the electric switch behind a gate. Hmm...what to do? Look
up to see a Batarang target. That might do the trick! Hit it
with your Batarang and grab the electricity so Robin can jump up.
Next, destroy the cart with the barrels in it to create a grapple
point. Use it and switch to Robin, hopping up on the stairlike
barrels to reach the final machine. Activate it (5/5) and more
goons will show up. Man, they always know when you're doing
something important, don't they? Once they're down for the count,
two mimes rush down to aid them. Defeat them and another mime will
burst through the door, look around and decide to run back. Follow
him.

Looks like that mime that ran isn't having that fun of a time. His
friend left him to get beat up by us! Two more mimes come in after
you beat him up, so make them pay by thrashing them then transfer
your electricity to the electric switch on the right. This will
lower acrobat poles so you should know what to expect now! Hop
in the pool in the middle of the area if you need water and put out
the fires at the top of the screen. Bust the Lego object and build
the pile to build a suit change for Robin. Now you can use those
poles we just lowered! Double jump up to one and hold X/B to
quickly hop across, then build the terminal and activate it to
make a bridge for Batman to cross. Watch out for the mime and
goon. Once Batman crosses, run to the right and build the wheel,
then use the double wheel to open the pipe, which spews out a pile.
Build it for a Power Suit change. Use it to blow up the silver
wall, then use the orange handle to open the door. Go through.

This time, a goon is waiting for you and blows up a section of the
path when you arrive. Whoop dee doo, we can just hop over that gap!
If you fall down, you can destroy the yellow garbage can to make a
grapple point (there's a few studs down there too). Otherwise
defeat the goon and open the orange handle door. Switch to Robin
and hop up the acrobat wall, then destroy the object to create a
grapple point for Batman (watch out for the goons with guns up
here). Switch to Batman and blow up the silver base to the pillar,
creating a makeshift bridge. Defeat the mimes and break the object
to the right of the pool, then build the pile for a Hazard Suit
change (can't they just stick to it instead of switching back and
forth?). Use it to douse the fires on the left and break the box
next to it, building the pile for a lever. Use it to lower the
ladder and climb up.

Make sure you're still using Robin and run through the gas pipes,
building the button at the end to turn them off and allow Batman
to cross in front of them. Flip the double switch to bring a cube
on a crane closer, so jump on it to start a cutscene that takes you
to a new area.

Alright, Superman time! Switch to him and test out his powers if
you like. His heat vision (Square/Y) can melt ice, break gold, cut
wires and cut through red walls while his ice breath (Circle/A) can
freeze water and enemies. You can also hover with X/B, which allows
you to go up red arrows (such as the one in front of you). You can
one hit kill many enemies by freezing them and punching them, even
ones you can't grapple like mimes. Once you've gotten use to his
powers, switch to Batman and blow the silver grate in front of you,
pulling the switch behind it. This opens the door above you so
switch to Superman and fly up there, defeating any mimes with the
above combo. Use Superman's super strength to pull the orange
handle, creating a mini waterfall which you should hop down and
freeze for Batman. Continue to the right and use Superman's X-Ray
vision to look through the wall and switch to Batman to realign
the pipes with the wheels. This opens up a double wheel directly
below you. Hop down and use the wheel to open the door. Ignore
the mimes and run through the door.

         AREA 7

____________________________

Use Superman's breath/hit technique to kill the mime and goon, then
put out the fires with his ice breath. Switch to Batman to blow up
the silver box and build the pile to create a lever, which you
should use. This opens a door to a red wall so switch to Superman
and fly up the red arrow to the left and around to the red wall.
Press Circle/A to start cutting it with your heat vision and direct
it around in the shape of a circle to cut out a section of the wall.
Break the cover behind it to create a waterfall, which you should
freeze for Mr. No Powers down there. Switch to Batman to climb up
and blow up the silver crate in the corner, revealing a key card.
Bring it back down to the lower level and use it to raise a bridge
across, since the actual one fell into the fire.

Freeze kill the mines across the bridge then flip the double switch.
Freeze the waterfall and climb up, following the path to an
elevator with a silver grate in front of it. See that on the
elevator? It's the 2X multiplier brick! Blow up the grate to gain
access to it and grab it. If you've been trying for True Hero,
you'll have more than the 100,000 required for this brick, so BUY
IT IMMEDIATELY AFTER FINISHING THIS LEVEL! It will be vitally
important to your future success. This level alone has more than
48,000 studs, which is half of the total required, so if you know
for certain that you're not there yet, try and pick up as many studs
now as you can. When you've gotten the brick, press the button
to take the elevator up.

____________________________

         AREA 8

____________________________

Ignore the build pile for now. It creates a lever that brings up
a minikit in a silver box, but we'll get that during free play.
Instead, freeze kill the enemies until an electrified bridge is
created. Destroy the Lego object left of the elevator for an
Electric Suit change. Use it to cross the electric bridge, being
especially careful on the narrow pieces that connect the bridges
together (you should probably hop over to the next bridge instead
of trying to walk across the narrow pieces). On the other side,
defeat the goons and mime, then build the pile for an electric
switch. Use it so Superman can fly across the gap. Once he meets
up with you, destroy the blue box and build the pile for a button,
then step on it to raise a Lego object. Break it and build this
pile for a Power Suit change (really? Why bother with the Electric
Suit?). Use the Power Suit to blow up the silver support next to
the suit change and you'll finally finish the level.

HINT: MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE 2X MULTIPLIER!!! If you don't have the
studs, you weren't listening when I said to break everything so
start doing that from now on and repeat a few of the previous story
levels for studs until you can afford it. It's very vital that you
get it now, as it will make the difference later when we buy all the
free play characters!

Now that you have the 2X multiplier, every stud you pick up is
multiplied and you should have no trouble getting True Hero on
stages now. Keep grabbing studs and make sure that when you get
300,000 studs you buy the 4X multiplier. Rather than have 6X like
you'd think, you have 8X as the multipliers stack. Imagine how
much you'll make once you get the 6X multiplier too! Just one blue
stud would get us True Hero in this stage and it's the longest one
in the game! So make sure you buy the 4X multiplier AS SOON AS YOU
POSSIBLY CAN! Once you have that, it's just a few trips around the
Batcave to get the 800K for 6X and you'll never ever have to worry
about studs again!

I'm going to assume that you've gotten the 2X multiplier already.
If not, immediately exit out of this level and buy it (or collect
studs in previous levels until you get enough). Once you get it,
feel free to continue story mode.

You'll be driving the Batmobile to start with no clear intention of
what to do. However, be aware that the Batmobile has a grenade
power and Robin's motorcycle has a grapple power so hold Circle/A
and target the silver box in the middle of the vehicle to blow it
up, then switch to Robin and grapple the hook with Square/Y. This
will pull the door off and two enemies will start shooting at you.
Switch back to the Batmobile and target them with Square/Y. Once
they're both gone, you'll see two grapple hooks. Grapple them with
Robin's bike and switch back to Batman to kill the new enemies.
Keep an eye out for the bombs the cameras are dropping towards you
and once you defeat the enemies, you'll get a minikit (Heavy Joker
Goon). Dodge the remaining bombs and you'll drive up to the side.

You're now inside the vehicle and will fight a new enemy: Boba Fett.
Just kidding, but they do look like him with a gray helmet. Keep
defeating the robots to make their spawners blow up for studs and
a Magnet Suit change pile. Build it and switch to Robin, climbing
up the wall to the next level. Kill the robot and turn the wheel
to lower a grapple point for Batman (only temporarily though).
Then use the terminal in the room to the right to drop in a Lego
crate. Destroy it and build the Sensor Suit change, which you can
use to sneak past the camera to a switch back in the other room.
Use it to deactivate the camera and the force field covering the
ladder.

____________________________

         AREA 3

____________________________

Up here, defeat the robots until their spawner destroys itself then
continue right until you reach an area you can't get past because of
wind. C'mon Batman, I know you're a Lego figurine but you should be
able to walk past wind! Instead, switch to Robin and walk down the
nearby magnet wall and follow it to the other side of the windy
generators (be sure to grab the four blue studs at the bottom of
the magnet wall as you walk past). Break the radar antenna and
build the pile for a button, which disables the vent causing the
wind.

Switch to Batman and turn on your stealth so the nearby camera
doesn't see you. Walk up to the blue circle to grapple the switch
on the other side, creating the bottom parts of the magnet wall and
disabling security (but not the windy vent that's blocking Batman's
path). Switch back to Robin and follow the magnet wall around to
the button on the other side, disabling this vent (you can hop up
onto the top of the wall to grab these four blue studs, which you
should do). To your right will be a spinning globe structure with
three Batarang targets on it. Carefully line up your target with
one of them and fire it before it can get away (don't do all three
at once, you'll hit the middle and cancel it). This will slow it
down, making it easier to hit the other two, which finally stops
it.

Now for the tricky part. See the electric generators blocking our
path? You'll want to follow the narrow ledge just in front of them.
You'll reach an area below you with a thrown switch and two grapple
points. Target the Batarang target and fire, giving you a build
pile for two buttons. Step on them both to open the hatches and
raise the switch, which you should throw. This extends a bridge
to the front of the vehicle. Follow the narrow path down to a
wall with a Batarang target and a wheel. Shoot the Batarang
target and switch to Batman, who is likely still standing in front
of the generators like an idiot, and use your Sensor Suit's x-ray
vision to look through the wall you just dropped. Switch back to
Robin and use the wheel to align the pipes, which opens the door.
Go through.

Lex Luthor and the Joker are waiting here for you! They've gotten
some Kryptonite and have it secured with force field guns. Guess
we'll have to disable them since we can't directly attack Lex and
Joker! Watch out for the laser camera, which shoots a laser
when you get in it's line of sight.

Start by defeating the robots until it's spawner breaks. Then sneak
past the camera to a grapple point that leads to a small platform
with a force field generator. Break it to disable one of the guns
then hop down to where the robot spawner was to find another.
Break it too and you'll only have one more to go!

Head left and break the robot here. Joker will get frustrated and
spawn a spider, so break it too and step on the button. This will
disable the security around the switch next to the magnet wall and
spawn a minikit (Black Canary). Flip the switch to disable the
electric floor panel and use Robin to climb the magnet wall to the
final generator. This disables the force field completely, making
Lex and Joker grimace and ending the level.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Whoops!  Looks like we led Lex and the Joker to our secret Batcave!
Hope they don't realize that it's close to Bruce Wayne's manor or
our secret identity will be blown!
Beat up the goons nearby and destroy the crate at the very top for
a lever build pile.  Use it to extend acrobat poles for Robin, which
you should use.  Once at the helipad, defeat the soldiers and
destroy another crate for another lever build pile that extends the
bridge to Batman.  Destroy the computer for an Electric Suit change
pile and switch to Batman to grab it.  Go back across the bridge and
hop down to the beginning.  Head down and to the right to find an
electrified bridge, which you should cross as Batman and use the
electric switch at the end.  Smash the object here and build the
terminal, then switch to Robin to use it and extend the next bridge.
Switch back to Batman (as it's electrified) and some silver bricks
will fall down and prevent you from reaching Lex Luthor and Joker.
Guess we'll have to postpone their trashing for a minute!
Destroy the Batman crate for a lever that disables the electricity
and then continue across the bridge to the right to find a red
object.  Smash it for an Ice Suit change andd switch to Robin to
grab it.  Head back across and put out the fires consuming the
Power Suit change, then use it to destroy the silver bricks in front
of Joker and Lex Luthor.  Head up to them to trigger a cutscene.
(Before you leave, head all the way right to the end of the bridge
and swim out to the top right corner for a lot of studs, then return
back and exit to the next area).
We'll now have access to Superman, but you'll have to manually
switch to him using the touch screen, so swap him out for Robin
then use Power Suit Batman to destroy the silver object blocking the
red wall.  Switch to Superman to cut a doorway out and take the
grapple points up.  Destroy the object for a suit change for Robin
(go ahead and switch back to him momentarily to get it), then go
and put out the fires on the left with Superman.  Destroy the silver
grate with Batman and switch Superman back to Robin to use the
acrobat chute.  Double jump up to the acrobat poles and swing across
to a ledge with gold blocking your way to a climbable wall.
Switch back to Superman and use your heat vision to destroy the
gold, then destroy the Batman crate for a grapple point pile.  Build
it and climb up the wall, heading left and putting out the fires
blocking another grapple point.  Not sure why Batman decided to
build his lair like a mountain climbing course but I guess it's up
to him in the long run.  Use Superman to destroy the gold brick
covering another grapple point and destroy the crate at the end
covering ANOTHER grapple point.
Destroy the bricks blocking your way for some studs then switch to
Robin to use the acrobat pole, switching back when you land to
pull the orange handle.  Break the crate to create yet another
grapple point and then freeze the waterfall so we can climb up it.
FINALLY!  We're at the top!  The two pathways to the left and right
only contain some studs, but if you want them be careful not to
fall.
Freeze kill the two enemies and switch to Batman (who is likely
still near the middle of the course, so grapple up to the top).
Blow up the two silver pipes for a double wheel pile.  Build it and
use it to open the door, grabbing the studs as you leave the level.
Freeze kill the two soldiers and defeat the robot (you can't freeze
kill these), then turn your attention to the gold handle at the top
left corner of the map.  You should know by now what to do with gold
objects!  Unfortunately we don't yet have the electric suit, but
smash the two giant crates (defeating the robot behind the right
one) to find the build pile for it.  Use Electric Suit Batman on the
electric switch behind the door, then transfer it to the electric
switch next to the silver door on the right.  This will lower a lift
that takes you to the second floor, so hop up and ride it to the
top.  Destroy the two crates on either side to create a double
wheel, so activate it (or switch to your partner and ride up the
lift if they're still on the ground floor and then activate it) to
open up the doorway.
There's a nasty surprise waiting for you when you run towards the
door: kryptonite!  This vile stuff deactivates all of Superman's
powers and leaves him vunerable to attack.  He can still defeat
enemies, but he'll only be as effective as a normal character while
doing so.  Switch to Batman and defeat the goons, then defeat the
three soldiers that jump in after they're gone and the two enemies
that jump in after that.  Run into the new area that the last
enemies ran in from and use the electric switch to deactivate the
kryptonite.  You can then run over to the wires in the top right
corner and cut them with Superman's heat vision.  Run in the newly
opened door and transfer your electricity to the switch, opening
another door (great designing Joker).  Collect the studs and climb
the ladder up.
Destroy the big green crate for a Power Suit change.  Use it to
destroy the two silver crates in the middle, which creates two
orange handle push lever piles.  Use either Batman or Superman to
push them, opening the hatch beneath you and revealing a giant
rocket with a golden circle.  You know what to do with that:
use Superman's heat vision of course!  This will fire the rocket at
the doorway, opening it up but starting a fire.  Freeze kill the
soldiers, then use the double orange handle to open the doorway.
into the two cubbies they come out of to get a few studs).  Be
careful, as the robots contain kryptonite, which deactivates
Superman's powers.  Grab the key card they drop and use it to open
two panels, revealing crystals.  Use Superman's heat vision on them
and it will reflect into the golden objects above them.  This will
lower a grapple point for you to take up to the next floor.  Use
Batman's grenades to destroy the silver object and hop down into
the gap it reveals to finish the level.
After the amusing cutscene, the receptionist leaves and calls in
soldiers to attack.  Great.  Switch to Superman and freeze kill all
the enemies who attack you.  There will be quite a bit (over 10),
so just keep freeze killing them until the receptionist returns.
So she was an evil robot all along?  That explains it.
The bad thing about this fight is the kryptonite the robot has in
it's stomach area.  Dodge the bullets until it stops and reveals a
Batarang target, which you should hit.  This will close the
kryptonite compartment and the robot will rest their arm on the
desk.  Notice the orange handle on it?  Use it to rip off the gun.
Repeat the process of using the Batarang and ripping off the other
gun and Superman will attack the robot with it's own gun arm.
Switch to Batman and use the grapple point, then destroy the gold
circuit with Superman's heat vision.  This will create two wheel
build piles and a Power Suit change for Batman.  Grab it and build
the two wheels, then destroy the silver wall to find an x-ray wall.
Use Superman's x-ray vision and align the wires with the wheels in
the shape of a U.  Throw the switch to open the doors on both sides.
Head up the right staircase (defeating the enemy here) and head
left, destroying the silver objects here.  Cut the wires with
Superman's heat vision to disable the security camera and use his
heat vision once more to destroy the gold H covering an orange
handle.  Before you pull it, head left and destroy a similar silver
H covering another orange handle, then pull them both to open the
doorway to an elevator.  Hop in.
through the green lasers, destroying the power mechanism next to a
large gold conductor.  This disables the bars and allows Superman
to use his powers again.  Destroy the golden conductor to get an
Electric Suit change pile.  Use it to cross the electricity and
use the electric switch on the other side to disable it.
Head to the right and you'll find another area where you seem
trapped.  Fire seemingly traps you where you are...until you realize
Superman can walk through it!  Do so and use your heat vision to
destroy the grate on the golden door (not the door itself) to
somehow disable the flame and allow Batman to continue across.
Walk through the next fire pillar and use the golden handle to
disable this one too.  Use the electric switch to lower a door to
two generators.
The key here is to raise and lower the temperatures of these
generators.  Do you know of any powers we can use that raise and
lower temperatures?  That's right, Superman has both those powers!
Use your heat vision on the silver circle on the left to raise the
temperature of the first generator.  Once it sets on fire, go over
to the other circle leaking water and freeze it with your cold
breath.  The crane these generators power goes haywire, destroying
the glass to the next area and summoning soldiers to fight you.
Grab the electricity from the switch we just powered and build the
grapple point up.  Freeze kill the two enemies and power the
electric switch up here to power a deconstructor (and open a
kryptonite valve, so be careful if you haven't yet defeated the
enemies).
Hop down to the lower level again and run left to the deconstructor.
Flip the switch to destroy the door and head through it.
Down here, grab the electricity from the switch and defeat all the
enemies that attack by freeze killing them.  Break the gold covering
the electric switch on the right side of the room and transfer your
electricity to it to open a door to a Sensor Suit change.  Grab it
and defeat more enemies, then use Batman's x-ray vision on the
right x-ray wall.  Switch to Superman and pull the orange handle to
align the wires and unlatch the left door lock.  On the left x-ray
wall, use Superman's x-ray vision and have Batman use the terminal
to align these wires, unlatching the second door lock.  Go through.
Freeze kill all the enemies in the cool minature version of Gotham
until the spawners start spitting out robots, then switch to Batman
and destroy them both.  Four soldiers rappel in, so freeze kill them
all and three flying robots will start to attack (even more like
Boba Fett!).  Use your Batarang to ground them (you may have to run
to the back of the room to reach) and kill them (these ones don't
have Kryptonite).  Go through the newly opened door and you'll
finish the stage.
CHARS UNLOCKED:     None
------------------------------------------------------------------
Just an FYI, this level is extremely short and you will obtain
every single collectable on the way to beating this level.  That's
right, all five minikits, the sound bite and the red brick will all
be obtained with no effort on your part to find them, so don't
hesitate to pick them up.  Also, if for some odd reason you don't
yet have the True Hero trophy on Vita, this level will get you it
for sure (but if you've been collecting studs and have the 2x like
I told you to get, you'll have gotten this a long time ago).
Start by freeze killing all six enemies to make a helicopter come
and start attacking.  Use your heat vision to destroy the gold
windshield, causing it to crash and destroy the generator
electrifying the bridge in front of you.  Switch to Batman and
destroy the two robots, which causes the spawner to self destruct
and reveal the Lady Shiva minikit.  Swap back to Superman and
destroy the gold circle, causing the robot to grimace.  Guess it's
alive now?
Anyway, a suit change pile will fall out as will the Manbat sound
bite and the Big Heads red brick.  Grab them and build the Power
Suit change.  As you walk to the right, you'll be ambushed by
spiders, so destroy them quickly and blow up the silver object to
stop the electricity and generate a stud trail (which is pretty
vital since there are hardly any studs on this level).  Grab them
and continue down to attract another helicopter.  Grab the studs
and shoot out the silver windshield here to send this one crashing
down as well.  Pick up the studs and stand on the double button to
raise a Lego object containing an Electric Suit change and the
LexCorp Heavy minikit.
Swap suits and head back up to where we broke the gold circle.  Hop
up to the electric switch and activate it so Superman can come up,
then defeat the robots for another minikit, this one Ra's al Ghul.
Use Superman to destroy the two gold gates revealing two switches
and the last two minikits: Supergirl and Hawkgirl.  Pull the double
switch to end the level.
Looks like we've gotta dodge that robot's attacks as we go through
the metro.  To start, destroy the box between the two benches for
a wheel build pile, which lets you use x-ray vision on the wall.
Do so and align the pipes with the wheels to open up a grapple
point.  This in turn opens a wall with an orange handle, which opens
up a staircase to the next area.  Do so.
Hop down to the subway tracks and follow the tunnel to the right,
where several enemies try to attack us.  Freeze kill them and
continue on, only to nearly be run over by the subway.  That was
close!  Well, for Batman anyway.  The subway screeches past and
runs into the wall, destroying the tunnel.  Looks like we're gonna
have to go another way.  We better check on those passengers to see
if they're alright.  But as you do, the robot will try to attack us
from the ceiling, letting out a few enemies from it's hand.  Defeat
them and the hand will attack again, crumbling a part of the wall
and releasing more enemies.  Grapple them and destroy the gold pipe
in the fresh new hole in the left wall.  This will let out a lot of
water and flood the area the hand is in.  See those wires on the
right that are in the pool?  We're gonna use those to our advantage.
Keep destroying enemies until a hazard crate drops down.  Break it
for an orange handle build pile and head up to the generator to use
it.  Flip the switch to electrocute the hand and reveal a minikit:
Killer Croc.  Go ahead and grab it since it's easily gotten then
head into the wrecked subway.
The train collapses as we get out of it so I guess we're not going
back to get anything.  You'll also find a new enemy here: drill
monsters!  They can be grappled, so go ahead and throw them around
to get rid of them then smash the top recycle bin to create a
grapple point, then use it to create a waterfall.  Freeze it with
Superman and climb up to the top with Batman to find another grapple
point.  Swing over and use one final grapple point to bring down
a build pile and summon more drill monsters.
Build the pile with Superman and head up the ladder, destroying the
gold circle when you get up there.  Use the orange handle to find
a Lego object.  Break it and build the pile to create a Power Suit
change for Batman.  Grab it and blow up the silver door on the
subway car, then head through.
We finally get to fight this hand for real now!  It's about time
too as I was getting tired of running from it.  It happens to have
golden knuckles too.  Wonder what we can do with those.  Watch out
for his electric attacks (they'll be shown as a red circle on the
ground) and keep dodging them until it stops.  Target one of the
knuckles with Superman's heat vision until it's destroyed.  You'll
barely have enough time to do so before it retracts and starts
electrocuting you again.  When you do so, you'll uncover a Batarang
target.  Hit it and you'll damage the boss.
The pattern will repeat itself so destroy the other two gold
knuckles and Batarang the targets underneath until all three targets
have been hit, upon which the hand will smash the ground, revealing
a huge Batarang target.  Hop up on the sides so you can reach the
target and hit it with your Batarang to end the level.
HINT: Just a friendly reminder that you should purchase the 4x
multiplier as soon as you have 300K studs.  It will be invaluable in
the long run, especially when we need to purchase characters for
free play that total more than 1,000,000 studs.  Also remember that
when you get it, roam around the Batcave for studs, stopping by the
character creator to regenerate them until you have the 800,000
studs required to get the 6x multiplier.  You'll be surprised how
quickly you get it.
Run up the staircase and destroy the gold bar with your heat vision,
which opens up a Power Suit change.  Grab it and head over to the
red wall, cutting it down with Superman to reveal silver pipes
underneath.  Blow those up too to create a waterfall, which by now
you should know means to freeze it.  Head up and build the button,
then stand on it (wait for Batman to stand on his) to reveal a blue
crate.  Pick up the Batman tool box and put it on the green circle
beneath you, then build the lever and pull it.  This raises a
platform.  Notice the golden beams underneath?  Destroy them (not
the whole gold circle) to get an Electric Suit change.  Head back
up the waterfall and hop over to the platform, climbing the electric
wall to the switch.  Deactivate it for Superman, then destroy the
gold hand of the statue.
Build the orange handle and pull it to lower a ladder, then climb
up it and build the semi-hidden pile to create an electric switch.
Transfer your electricity to it to make the clock reverse to noon.
A giant boxing glove then destroys it for some odd reason.  Go
through the door the glove came out of.
We're on the roof now and the Joker robot is nearby.  Hasn't that
thing learned yet?  We destroyed his hand, destroyed his flying
mechanism mid flight and have regularly foiled plans involving it!
Why not just count your blessings and move on?  Oh well.
Pull the nearby orange handle to raise the ladder to a lever, but
ignore it for now and continue to the right until you reach two
blue boxes and a platform up to a small red wall.  Cut a small
door into the red wall and use Batman on the grapple point to
raise two silver boxes.  Blow them up with grenades, then build
the piles to create antennas for the electricity, which opens the
doorway blocking the orange handled box below.  Hop down and push
the block in question forward to raise two spotlights next to the
levers.  Hop back up and throw the lever to align the spotlight
into the Joker robot's eyes.
Head back left to the ladder we raised and pull the other lever,
which should blind the robot.  Don't worry about that gold colored
object on his hand (it isn't breakable), rather, head in front of
the robot to find a grapple point.  This pulls off his squirt flower
revealing a Batarang target.  Hit it and it turns to reveal a gold
object, which you should destroy with Superman.  If you take too
long, the robot will destroy the spotlights so hurry.  However, if
you already pulled off his flower, you can hit the target and
destroy the gold object without stunning him again.  Once you do so,
the level will be complete.
With Superman and Wonder Woman holding up the building, it's up to
us (and a few DC heroes) to help finish off the level.  You're given
Cyborg and Robin to start with.  Cyborg has heat vision and can
climb magnet walls, but he's no Superman.  Later on, we'll take
control of Green Lantern, who can fly, destroy silver objects and
rearrange special green objects.  Again, he's no Superman, but it's
still cool to get new heroes to play as.
Start off by destroying the two gold supports to your left with
Cyborg's heat vision.  As you run left, the robot will destroy the
wall, letting villains rush in.  If you're playing the Vita version,
be sure to grab one and throw them out the newly created hole for
a trophy.  Defeat them all and go out the hole.
Have Robin use the grapple point and build the pile for a terminal.
Use it to turn the nearby magnet wall so Cyborg can climb up it.
Pull the orange handle at the end and build the grapple point for
Robin.  Destroy the gold boulder and hop up as Robin to climb the
acrobat wall.  Flip the switch to lower the ladder and hop across
the acrobat poles to the platform on the other side.  Fortunately,
a lift breaks through the wall so Cyborg can cross over just as we
reach the platform (we sure do have impeccable timing, wouldn't you
say?).  Swap to Cyborn and pull the orange handle for more acrobat
poles, so swap back and hop up.  Pull the nearby switch to
unelectrify the magnet wall and defeat the mimes that attack
afterwards.
Swap back to Cyborg and climb up the magnet wall.  Use your heat
vision to destroy the gold grate and stand on the double button
to go up the elevator.
Head left an a soldier will raise an electric grate, breaking the
control wheel.  Man, why didn't you just shoot him with your heat
vision Cyborg?  Oh well, too late now.  Destroy the objects nearby
and build the grapple point to the generator.  Use it to disable it
and have Cyborg pull the orange handles to break your way through.
That same soldier now breaks the pipe, flooding the area with toxic
gas.  We'll get you once we disable this trap!
Build the wheel the soldier broke earlier, which somehow changed to
controlling something else, and it will cover one of the broken
sections, allowing you to traverse just far enough forward to see a
gold object.  Break it with your heat vision, then switch to Robin
to hit it with his Batarang.  This turns on the fan, redirecting
the toxic gas into it and allowing you to reach a terminal, which
opens up the doorway next to us.  Go through to finally meet up
with that jerk who's been messing with us and give him pain equal
to what he's done to us.  Another guard comes in, so do the same
with him.
Break the two crates near the silver lock to make build piles for
double wheels, which drops the nearby wall and reveals a magnet
wall with timed toxic gas.  Oh boy.  Be careful as you walk up
and only go forward when the gas stops.  Do the same for the
electricity and second toxic gas and you'll reach the next floor.
Pull the lever to open up a chute for Robin and use him to grapple
up to the next floor.  Destroy all the Lego objects on the left to
reach a ladder build pile and switch to Cyborg.  Have him destroy
the gold cover in front of the acrobat chute and hop through as
Robin.  Pull the lever up here to disable the electricity for
Cyborg and switch to him to walk up the magnet wall to this floor.
Once both of you reach this floor, several enemies fall down.
Destroy them with grapples and two enemies open the door and rush
in to aid their fallen comrades.  Slip past them into the doorway.
Switch time!  You're now playing as Batman and Green Lantern.
Hop up the grapple point and the mime will shoot at you, but will
be confused when no one shows up.  Destroy him when he comes to look
around and run out the now open elevator door.  Break the blue crate
for a grapple point and use it to pull up a crate with a key card in
it.  Use it on the card reader to the north and grab the Electric
Suit from the suit change, destroying the soldiers who rappel in.
Grab the electricity from the switch and use Green Lantern to fly
across the gap.  The robot attacks the wall again, sending spiders
flying in.  See the silver support beam?  Hold Square/Y to target
it until the symbol changes from a triangle to a star and fire
(if you do it while the symbol is triangle, you won't blow it up).
Switch to Batman and run across the pillar bridge.  Keep running
towards the right and transfer your electricity to the electric
switch.  This drops a translucent green cube, which is Green
Lantern's specialty blocks.  Switch to him and use it to transform
it into a feather, tickling the robot somehow.  Strange.  Head up
the section that just fell down over the fire gap.
Switch to Batman and continue upwards through the electric field.
Destroy the soldier and head to the top left corner, where a double
can do something with it, so switch to him and rearrange the diodes
into a cannon.  Pull the switch to destroy the wall and reveal a
green wall beneath it.
The robot again destroys the wall, letting in unnecessary pests.
Head right and use Green Lantern to destroy the silver statue,
turning it green.  Rearrange the statue into defribulators, which
Green Lantern uses to shock the robot.  Ouch!  Rearrange them again
to save the annoying civilian screaming 'help!' every two seconds.
He'll open the door for you, but let in two goons.  Destroy them
and enter the door.
It's finally time to set this robot down once and for all.  Wait
for it to come up from below and dodge it's heat vision until it
stops.  The robot's eyes change to Batarang targets, so quickly
whip out your Batarang and fire it at them both.  This will cause
the robot to strangely hack up a green object (did the Joker create
artificial life?), which you should morph with Green Lantern.  He
will turn it into a pepper shaker, which causes the robot to
sneeze and lose his grip on the building.  It's almost as if we're
facing Joker himself!
However, the robot will grab hold of a neon green rod affixed to
the floor.  Guess what we have to do?  Defeat the enemies quickly
and morph the base of the pillar into a generator, shocking the
robot and releasing his grip.  The robot, however, will climb back
up just fine and return to shooting you with his laser sight.
Again, quickly dodge his attacks and shoot his eyes with the
Batarang when you get a chance.  Morph the object he hacks up into
a boxing glove, which smashes the robot.  Ooh, that's gotta hurt!
He reaches up and clings to a different pillar this time, one with
a silver base.  Charge up Green Lantern's attack and destroy the
base again.  This time, the robot falls for good, just as Cyborg
and Robin arrive.  Thanks for nothing guys.  That will, however,
end the level.  Only one more to go!
Two of the characters required for completing free play are
located in this mission.  The first is Aquaman and is located to
the right of your starting location.  Use Batman and Robin to pull
off the grate containing the minikit and collect it.  The second
is Flash.  Switch to Superman and look behind the boss.  See that
face with golden eyes behind it?  You'll need to use Superman's
heat vision to destroy both of the eyes.  The minikit will appear
afterwards so collect it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After you've collected the two minikits, look at Lex's robot
carefully. Notice the gold cover on it's face? Melt it off with
Superman's heat vision. Be extremely careful as the boss can
actually hurt Superman! Lex will laugh and take off, switching to
a silver cover. Switch to Green Lantern and use his charged shot to
destroy the silver cover. He'll come back with another gold cover
so switch back to Superman and shoot it off. Again, he returns
with a silver cover so shoot that one off too.

This time he's changing things up and dons a black cover that can
only be broken with a deconstructor (naturally a Lex Luthor
exclusive ability) and opens up a prism that he uses to reflect
his deconstructor beam around the level. Jump over it to dodge it
and look where we got Flash's minikit. See the silver object in
what appears to be the face's mouth? Shoot it with a charged Green
Lantern shot, then morph the green bricks underneath to create a
handle (1/3). Next, go to the right side of the level and pull the
double orange handles (watch out for the beam). This will drop a
wall on the truck, revealing another green object. Cut it out of
there with Superman's heat vision then morph it into a hammer head
(2/3). Finally, use Batman and Robin on the double grapple points
on the left side of the screen to reveal a magnet wall. Climb up
it with Cyborg and flip the switch to open up the greenish wall,
revealing another green object. Cut it out with either Cyborg or
Superman and have Green Lantern morph this one into an anvil (3/3).

Fly over to it and use the green hammer & anvil and watch as Green
Lantern smashes Lex with it. Build the pile that is created to
create a deconstructor and pull the lever on the back side to
destroy Lex's cover. Finally, use the grapple point next to the
deconstructor to pull Lex Luthor out of his robot. Congrats, you
just beat the story mode and saved Gotham City! You've now
unlocked Justice League mode and can revisit the levels in free
play mode to get the collectables we passed up the first time.
You may have finished the story but the fun's only just begun!

NOTE: If you happened to grab just enough studs to True Hero every
level and didn't go out of your way for any extras, you'll have
exactly 300,000 studs when you finish this mission. You should have
no excuse now to not have the first two multiplier extras now and
if you truly haven't any more studs than the 300,000 you need, make
SURE to get the 6X multiplier now before getting anything else. You
will need it to make up the deficit required to pay for the
necessary free play characters we'll be buying shortly that will be
required to complete it.

                          III. FREEPLAY WALKTHROUGHS                  [FREEP]

______________________________________________________________________________

In order to complete free play and get all the collectables, we'll need five
character minikits first. If you've been following my guide from the
beginning, you'll only be missing one: Lex Luthor. For the others, check
under Arkham Estate and The Final Battle for their locations. Once you're
done, prepare for the final minikit before we start going through the
missions.

There's one last character we need for free play: Lex Luthor.
Go to Attack on LexCorp and select free play. Ignore the rest of
the level for now and keep playing until you reach the second
area. Walk through the electricity with Electric Suit Batman and
once you reach the other side, you'll see a hatch. Switch to
Robin and go through, then hack the terminal next to it. It will
open the door to a minikit: Lex Luthor. Grab it and exit. We'll
be back in a little while to complete it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now that you have all five minikits, head to the shop and purchase the
characters.  You'll need 300,000 for Flash, 100,000 for Aquaman, 100,000 for
Poison Ivy, 100,000 for Cyborg and 500,000 for Lex Luthor.  If you collected
the multipliers when I told you to, you should have enough to buy all four.
If not, replay the story missions to get True Hero on all of them.  By the
time you do, you should have enough.  If you STILL don't, grab the studs
around the Batcave and replay ACE Chemicals with multipliers and you should
come up with the money.  But with all three multipliers, you can make 500,000
in one run of exploration so it shouldn't take long to make the money up.
Just to let you know, your main character should be Superman.  He has most
of the powers in the game and is invincible to boot.  Another note: once
you've bought and obtained all five multiplier studs (and amassed an
amazing x3840 multiplier), feel free to purchase everything in the shop.
You won't need to save your studs anymore as you'll be making almost 400K
on one single gold stud!
You may want to start with the Gotham Metro and Brawl at City Hall levels,
as they contain the remaining stud multiplier bricks.  Entirely up to you,
but you will never have to go out of your way for another stud again with
them, as you'll be making almost 4 mil per blue stud and half a mil
with a gold stud.  Just a recommendation, but it'll really help you
in the long run.  See those sections for their precise locations.
Start off by running to the left and destroying the red harp in the
top left corner for Bane's sound bite (SOUND 1/1).  You should
already have the red brick, but in case you don't, switch to Power
Suit Batman and destroy all the tables.  Once you find the four
silver tables and destroy them, the airplane in the center will open
and reveal the red brick (BRICK 1/1).
That should wrap up the extras in this location, so go around and
destroy the 15 enemies and defeat Harley Quinn again to go to
area 2.
Alright, time for the first minikit!  See the green drumset in the
Defeat the goons and switch to Poison Ivy, then remove the vine in
the far left section of the room.  You'll free a green gnome, so
morph him into a switch, then use it to get rid of Clayface's ugly
(MINIKIT 1/5).  Go back to Area 2.
Use your batarang on the three targets and play the instruments in
order of their color.  Switch to Robin and destroy the crate,
building the ladder in the process.  Pull the double lever and go
back up the stairs and through the door.
         AREA 3
____________________________
Switch back to Superman and pull the orange handle in front of you
when you walk in.  Hop in and destroy the frontmost crate for a
minikit: The Riddler (MINIKIT 2/5).  Continue down the stairs and
use heat vision on the red wall in the top right corner.  Grab the
minikit for Harley Quinn (MINIKIT 3/5).  Then switch to Sensor Suit
Batman (if you don't have him use the Super Freeplay icon to swap
one of your extra characters for him).  Sneak past the camera and
disable the security by pulling the lever.  Then pull the double
rod to get to area 4.
Proceed through this area as normal by using Superman to search
the safes and defeating the goons when they appear.  Then beat the
Riddler when he makes his way down the elevator (you can actually
freeze him with Superman to make things easier).  Use the key card
and switch to get to area 5.
Freeze the waterfall on the right and follow the narrow path to a
flower pot, in which you'll find the Riddler Goon minikit (MINIKIT
lock on the right door, then switch to Robin and use the acrobat
chute.  Grab the level's final minikit, Bruce Wayne (MINIKIT 5/5).
This is the level's final collectable so go ahead an leave the
level now.  Ignore the warning about it not saving your progress.
It still saves the collectables, just not how far you've progressed
into the free play level (which accounts for nothing).
------------------------------------------------------------------
You'll see your first objective without even moving: the gold door
up the stairs.  Shoot it with Superman's heat vision for a switch.
Pull it to make a Batman symbol out of studs and put a minikit in
the middle, Killer Moth (MINIKIT 1/5).  Use Power Suit Batman to
blow up the silver grate on the magnet wall and head up it to find
your first gargoyle.  We're gonna have to destroy nine of them to
get the red brick (GARGOYLE 1/9).  To the left is another one
(GARGOYLE 2/9).  Use the grapple point and build the missing magnet
wall, then climb up it to find another gargoyle to your right
(GARGOYLE 3/9).  Hit the Batarang switch and pull the hanging rod,
then grapple across the ledge to find another gargoyle that gives
us a build pile (GARGOYLE 4/9).  BEFORE YOU USE THE WHEEL, WALK
ACROSS THE MAGNET BRIDGE TO THE GARGOYLE.  If you don't, then you'll
have to pull some fancy moves to get to it and it's not worth it.
Watch that you don't fall at the end or you'll have to climb back
up (GARGOYLE 5/9).
Go back across and use the wheel to raise the magnet wall and
find two more gargoyles (GARGOYLE 7/9).  Grapple across to find
the last two gargoyles (GARGOYLE 9/9) and get the red brick:
Stud Magnet (BRICK 1/1).  This is also a useful extra as it pulls
nearby studs to you (even some out of reach), but it's not worth
it yet if you haven't got the stud multipliers.
Build the generator and climb the magnet wall to the top.  Use
Power Suit Batman to destroy the silver objects up here and build
the lever.  Use Magnet Suit Robin to climb the wall and follow it
to the left.  About halfway, jump off the magnet wall and follow
the path to the middle up to find a golden gargoyle.  Use Superman
to break it for a minikit, Bane (MINIKIT 2/5).  Then jump down to
the platform on the left and use Power Suit Batman to blow up the
silver gargoyle for a third minikit, Robin (Classic Suit) (MINIKIT
3/5).  Finish the area as normal by carrying this tool box down,
then grabbing the tool box we ignored and the one behind the
orange handle door and building the Robin Copter.
         AREA 2
Start by running to the left until you find a billboard on golden
support beams.  Break them with Superman's heat vision and you'll
get the Captain Boomerang sound bite (SOUND 1/1).  There's one on
the right side, but it's simply studs.  One of the minikits is
obtained by smashing 5 Joker balloons.  There's one just to the
right of the billboard we just got the sound bite from (BALLOON 1/5)
and another on the right side inbetween the top and bottom parking
spots (BALLOON 2/5).  Now use Power Suit Batman to destroy the
silver car in the bottom left corner.  Build the pile and align
the cannon with the orange push handle, then use the cannon to hit
Joker.  Go to the right side and destroy the second silver car in
the top right corner, then use the strength tester to hit Joker
a second time and lower the wall in front of us.
Climb up the wall with Magnet Suit Robin and smash the balloons
on the right side (BALLOON 3/5).  Climb up the magnet wall on the
left and follow the path until you reach the wheel, then dip down
into the pit on the left.  Use your Batarang to destroy the balloons
on the pole to the left (BALLOON 4/5) and then switch to Superman
to destroy the gold grate to your right.  Go through to get the
Joker Goon minikit (MINIKIT 4/5) and climb all the way back up
to the top.  This time, hop down onto the ledge on the left with
all the blue studs and destroy the final set of balloons to make
a minikit appear on the ground.  Jump down and grab it for Tim
Drake (MINIKIT 5/5).  Return to the roof one final time and turn
the wheel to finish the level.
RED BRICK:          Fast Build
------------------------------------------------------------------
You should already have one of the five minikits in this level as I
already told you to get it back in story mode, however, if you
didn't listen, I'll mention it briefly in a seperate paragraph.
At the start, you'll see a golden fence.  Use Superman's heat vision
to break it and head through, but be extremely careful.  Walk to the
next square only after the electricity shifts in front of you (or
simply switch to Electric Suit Batman to ignore it).  At the end,
swap to Robin and hop through the acrobat chute.  It will take you
to a reverse electric puzzle.  Walk up and hop over the electrified
square as it reaches the middle, then grab the red brick, Fast Build
(BRICK 1/1).  Flip the switch to deactivate the electricity and head
back through the chute and out to the main area.
You can use Poison Ivy to recede the vines instead of searching for
the weed killer this time, so do so.  Follow the level around to
where the massive toxic goo trail is and use Aquaman to clean it up,
the have Poison Ivy recede the second vine.  Head to the bottom left
and use Superman on the orange handle to break the wall open for
easy access, then head to the bottom right corner where you'll find
a red and yellow treadmill.  Switch to the Flash and run on it while
holding Circle/A to light up all three lights.  As soon as you do,
you'll activate the sound bite, which will promptly run away from
you.  Using Flash's super speed, follow it around the map until you
catch it (if you fail, you can always reactivate the treadmill to
start over).  It may take a few tries to get it, but you'll get the
Clayface sound bite afterwords (SOUND 1/1).
Switch to Poison Ivy to recede the third vine and head up to where
the Power Suit change was in story mode.  Notice the black wall
stopping you from getting a minikit?  Use Lex Luthor to deconstruct
the wall and grab it to get the Asylum Inmate minikit (MINIKIT 2/5).
(Only follow this paragraph if you've missed Poison Ivy's minikit in
story mode.  With all three vines receded, you'll have access to the
full map now.  Switch to Power Suit Batman and head to where we
receded the third vine to find the first silver tank.  Blow it up
(1/3) and head all the way left and follow the path up to where we
started the level.  On your right should be the second tank (2/3).
Follow the path around to a silver gate, under which is the last
silver tank (3/3).  This causes the minikit to appear where the
plant monsters came from.  Follow that path to the end to get the
Poison Ivy minikit (MINIKIT 1/5)).
Now head up to the silver gate in the top corner and blow it up with
Power Suit Batman.  Notice how Catwoman left her bike here?  Let's
ensure she can't use it later to escape and thrash it.  You'll end
up getting the Catwoman minikit after it's gone (MINIKIT 3/5).
Head through the doorway to area 2.
Go ahead and destroy the two Two Face plungers on the ground floor
to build the objects, then use Superman to align them properly.
Switch to Robin and head up the pillars to the top and use the
grapple point, then use the acrobat poles to the right to jump over
to the Two-Face Goon minikit (MINIKIT 4/5).  Hop back over and
watch the goon drop the final Two Face plunger, then build it and
use Superman on the orange handle to create an exit to area 4.
Take it.
You'll see three waterfalls when you enter this area.  Freeze the
middle one as Superman, then climb up to the top and hop up through
the gap in the fencing.  On your left is a frozen minikit, so use
your heat vision to get the Killer Frost minikit (MINIKIT 5/5).
That wraps up this level for collectables so go ahead and exit the
level.
You should have already gotten the red brick for this level, so I'll
only mention it in passing.  Start by using Superman to put out the
fires and then switch to Robin.  Climb up the stairs and use the
acrobat chute to reach the first minikit, Asylum Patient (MINIKIT
1/5).  Go back through and use Aquaman to sink to the bottom of the
mini lake.  Pull the orange handles to get the second minikit:
Mad Hatter (MINIKIT 2/5).  Swap to your partner and switch to
Electric Suit Batman to cross the pipe.  Grab the electricity to
stop the fan, then switch to Superman to cut the wires to your
right.  This stops a fan next to a minikit, so keep it in mind.
Swap back to Aquaman and build the two platforms for Batman and
pull the switch to lower the electric switch.
Swap back to Electric Suit Batman and hop across the platforms,
hopping over the electric pipe.  You'll see a silver door.  Switch
to Power Suit Batman and use an explosive on it, then walk to the
left and grab the Scarecrow minikit by the fan we disabled earlier
(MINIKIT 3/5).  Head back and transfer the electricity to the
switch to distract Killer Croc and swap back to Aquaman.  Destroy
the underwater arch and build the switch, draining the pool.
Use the double wheel to access Area 2.
back down and use the keycard to open the inoperable suit change,
then head back up to flip the switch.  Freeze the two geysers and
fly across as Superman.  Use heat vision to melt the ice on the
elevator and take it up.
the gold door with heat vision.  Grab the Mr. Freeze minikit (MINIKIT
5/5) and switch back to Electric Suit Batman.  Keep walking until
you see a green pipe.  Use Green Lantern to rearrange it into a
switch, which opens the door nearby.  Go in and and use the wall to
find a new type of puzzle.  Rearrange the pieces using Circle/A to
swap them until you make a question mark.  The wall will then open
up and give you the General Zod sound bite.  That does it for the
collectables so go ahead and exit the stage to save our progress
(ignore the warning, it will still save collectables).
then defeat the goons for the key card.  Take it back right to open
the hatch, then use Aquaman to throw the underwater switch.  Once
the water is gone, switch to Superman and destroy the gold object
for the Harley Quinn sound bite (SOUND 1/1).  Use Magnet Suit Robin
area 8.  (If you missed the red brick, SHAME ON YOU!  It's on the
elevator as you ride up and it's one of the most important in the
game).  (BRICK 1/1)
head in.  Use Robin on the acrobat chute and step on the button to
open the door.  Step on both red squares to get the Regenrate Hearts
red brick (BRICK 1/1).  Destroy the robots and the spider to
lower the force field to a switch that unelectrifies the magnet wall,
allowing you access to the final minikit, Black Canary (MINIKIT 5/5).
Climb the magnet wall and destroy the force field generator, then
destroy the second one by the robots. Grapple up on the right to the
final one to finish the level.
Defeat the goons and destroy the gold object nearby for a build
switch to Electric Suit Batman to cross the electrified bridge to
the right.  Grab the electricity from the switch over here and take
it back to the switch we just built to open the character creation
pods to a minikit.  Grab it for the Batman (Classic Suit) character
(MINIKIT 1/5).
Head back right and destroy the red box for a terminal.  Use it
to extend the bridge and cross it with Electric Suit Batman.  Head
all the way right to find a crate on fire.  Use Superman to put out
the flames and break the crate to grab the Batgirl minikit (MINIKIT
2/5).  Now switch to Aquaman and hop into the water.  Fall down the
nearby waterfall and grab the underwater sound bite, which is
Killer Croc's (SOUND 1/1).  Now swim over to the platform with the
ladder and use your Batarang to take out the four small objects in
the water for a third minikit: Alfred Pennyworth (MINIKIT 3/5).
That should just about do it for this part of the level, so break
the silver debris between you and Lex Luthor/Joker and head to area
2.
Break the silver debris and cut the red wall as Superman to gain
access to a grapple point.  Head up and destroy the silver object
on the wall (SILVER 1/3).  We'll need to find two more before we
can get the miinikt.  Put out all the fires on the left and destroy
the silver grate covering the acrobat chute.  Go through it to the
next floor and cross the acrobat poles.  Destroy the giant gold
object to gain access to a climbable wall, so climb it and head up.
As you cross the catwalk, you'll notice another silver object
(SILVER 2/3).  Put out the fires and head to the next floor.
Destroy the gold object and grapple across, then destroy the crate
for another grapple point.  Up here you'll find the third silver
object (SILVER 3/3), which gives you the Nightwing minikit (MINIKIT
4/5).  Next to that is a green object, so switch to Green Lantern
and rearrange it into a jackhammer, granting you access to the
red brick, Minikit detector (BRICK 1/1).  You won't need it with
this guide, but it'll help clarify things if you can't understand
what to do.
Jump up more acrobat poles and pull the orange handle for a
freezable waterfall.  Climb up it and notice the crate to the right
with vines covering it.  Use Poison Ivy to remove them and break
the crate for the final minikit: Poison Ivy Goon (MINIKIT 5/5).
Break the two silver pipes for wheels, then use the double wheel
to exit the stage.
the pipes and throw the switch to open the doors.
Head up the right side first and go through the acrobat chute to
We're gonna need Lex Luthor in this area to deconstruct 3 black
Superman statues, the first is right as soon as you walk in (STATUE
Superman to break the gold object here.  Switch to Electric Suit
Batman to cross the electric field and disable it with the switch.
(ONLY FOLLOW THIS IF YOU DIDN'T LISTEN AND GRAB LEX'S MINIKIT WHEN
use it to open the door to Lex Luthor's minikit (MINIKIT 1/5).)
Head right to find the second Superman statue (STATUE 2/3) and
continue to the right, using Superman to pass through and deactivate
the fires.  Once you get to the far right, the final statue will be
there.  Destroy it (STATUE 3/3) and a minikit will appear in front
of the generator.  Grab it for the LexCorp Security minikit (MINIKIT
4/5).  Now head back right and use Superman to heat up and freeze
the two circles and grab the electricity back when the crane breaks
the window upstairs.  Flip the switch on the generator after you
power it up with the upstairs electric switch then head through the
It's pretty much impossible to have missed the collectables while
playing through story mode.  In fact, the only way you could have
missed them is if you flat out avoided them.  So you should only
need to True Hero this free play mission in order to get 100%.  You
shouldn't need any help to get True Hero (with x48 or higher you
should get it on your first stud), but in case you're worried you
missed a collectable, below is a complete walkthrough, even though
you really don't need it.
Switch to Electric Suit Batman and run across the bridge, destroying
the two robots.  This should make the first minikit appear: Lady
Shiva (MINIKIT 1/5).  Switch to Superman to destroy the gold circle
and you'll get the Manbat sound bite (SOUND 1/1) and the Big Heads
red brick (BRICK 1/1).  Walk to the right, switching back to
Electric Suit Batman to run across the bridge.  Switch to Power Suit
Batman to destroy the silver windshield of this helicopter.  Swap
back to your second character and head back to the double button,
raising the Lego object and breaking it for the third minikit:
LexCorp Heavy (MINIKIT 2/5).
Head up to the top of the area where the gold circle was and use
the electric switch with Electric Suit Batman.  Defeat the robots
up here for the third minikit: Ra's Al Ghul (MINIKIT 3/5).  Use
Superman to destroy the two gold gates and grab the final two
minikits hidden behind them: Supergirl (MINIKIT 4/5) and Hawkgirl
(MINIKIT 5/5).  Hit the double switch to end the level.
You likely already have one minikit for this level, since it's
almost impossible to avoid it during the story, but I'll still
mention it when the time comes around.  Just keep that in mind if
you're wondering why I start with minikit 2.
Head right and you'll find a mess of toxic goo.  Use Aquaman to
clean it up and use Magnet Suit Robin to climb up the wall to a
switch.  This drops a bunch of bats and a minikit.  Grab it for
the Man Bat character (MINIKIT 2/5).  Now realign the pipes in the
x-ray wall and use Superman to pull the orange handles off and
head to Area 2.
Head back down the train track and watch out for the train.  More
importantly, notice the ladder with the vines on it?  Remove them
with Poison Ivy and head up the ladder.
crate and grapple the statue.  This should disable the electricity
near the chute.  Use it to access the Score X8 multiplier brick
goop surrounding the third minikit: Clayface (MINIKIT 3/5).  Now
head back and defeat the drill monsters and head all the way right
Head right until you see a large black section of the wall.  Guess
what's hidden behind it?  You guessed it, a minikit!  Use Lex Luthor
the red wall, then cut through it to go to Area 5.
In here, use the grapple hook to take down the clock and build the
pile to an air lift.  Use it to get the last minikit, Azrael
NOTE: MAKE SURE TO BUY THE SCORE X8 MULTIPLIER BRICK AFTER THIS
LEVEL.  It's only 4,000,000 (which you should easily have by now
with the three stud multipliers) and it will boost your total
score multiplier to x384 (meaning 1 blue stud will get you nearly
half a mil!).  IT IS IMPERATIVE TO COLLECT IT ASAP.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Start by heading to the left.  See the green plant?  Use Green
Lantern to morph it into a hammer and destroy the stone.  Then build
the switch and use it to lower a lift with two crates on it.  Break
the one on the left for the Hawkman minikit (MINIKIT 1/5).  Next,
head to the right and cut out the red wall and blow up the silver
pipes to create a waterfall.  Freeze it and head up, then use the
double button for a switch that raises the bridge.
Head to the right momentarily and you will find a dumpster near
some retracted acrobat poles.  Destroy it for the Red Hood minikit
(MINIKIT 2/5).  Then use Lex Luthor to deconstruct the black crate
to reveal a grapple point.  Use it and build the lever that extends
the acrobat poles, then hop across them.  Keep in mind you actually
have to alternate your direction on the first two jumps and can't
just hold X/B or you'll jump down.  When you reach the top, you'll
grab the Score x10 red brick (BRICK 1/1).  BUY THIS AS SOON AS YOU
POSSIBLY CAN!  With the other four multipliers, you should be able
to afford this after a few trips around the Batcave (as each one
gives you 2+ mil a trip) or a few levels.  But even though it's
one of the costliest items in the game, it will make it so you
never need to search for money ever again and is likely to be the
most important extra in the game.  Buy it.
Hop down to the ground and build the switch on the ground near
the frozen waterfall, then climb back up it and fly across the gap
to your left with Superman.  You'll find a treadmill for The Flash.
This will lower the nearby acrobat chute, which leads to the third
minikit, Red Robin (MINIKIT 3/5).
Climb up the waterfall one last time and jump over to the bridge
we made.  Switch to Electric Suit Batman and climb the electrified
bridge, grabbing the electricity from the switch.  Use Superman to
destroy the gold statue hand and use the resulting orange handle to
lower a ladder.  Climb up it and transfer your electricity to the
switch then head to the front of where the clock was and jump off.
If you did it right, you'll land on a small ledge with some studs
and the Ra's al Ghul sound bite (SOUND 1/1).  Switch back to your
partner and head to Area 2.
One of the minikits is obtained by breaking four large blue crates.
The first is straight up from our starting location (CRATES 1/4).
Head down and go right to find two more (CRATES 3/4).  The last
one is in the bottom right corner (CRATES 4/4) and you'll see
the minikit appear in the middle of the stage.  Grab it for the
Deadshot minikit (MINIKIT 4/5).
Head to the upper left and pull the orange handle here to raise a
ladder.  Follow the catwalk around to another treadmill for The
Flash, which raises a crate below us.  Head down there and break it
for the final minikit: Lucius Fox (MINIKIT 5/5).  Exit the level.
NOTE: MAKE SURE TO BUY THE SCORE x10 RED BRICK.  Even if you didn't
listen for the other bricks, even if you have to choose one, make it
this one.  It will make every stud worth 10x their total value and
with the other four multipliers, you'll get x3840 whatever stud
value you collect.  This will allow you to make up all 20 million
you just spent on it in one runthrough of the Batcave.  Even if you
have to replay a few levels for the 20 mil, it's totally worth it.
Get it ASAP.
turn on the fan, removing the toxic gas from the area.  Use the
terminal to open the door and go right until you find a silver lock.
Destroy it and build the treadmill for The Flash.  Use it to destroy
the nearby radio antenna for the level's fourth minikit: The Joker
(Tropical) (MINIKIT 4/5).  Head left to use the double wheel and
head up the magnet wall (watch out for the traps).
Up here, head to the left to find a stud trail over a gap.  Use
a flying character to fly across the gap (for some reason, Superman
didn't work for me so I had to use Killer Moth).  Destroy the two
statues with explosives and Lex Luthor and build the coin, then
use the lever to flip the coin.  Defeat the goons and do it again
then do it once more to destroy the coin and get the Two-Face
(Classic) minikit (MINIKIT 5/5).  Glide back left and use the switch
to activate the acrobat chute and destroy the nearby gold pipe.
Head up the grapple point and build the ladder on the left, then
destroy the gold grating over an acrobat chute.  Head up then
switch to your partner and do the same.  Defeat the goons until the
Head through the electric field as Electric Suit Batman and grab
the electricity from the switch so your partner can follow.  Fly
across as Superman and switch to your partner so you can do the
same with him.  Transfer the electricity to the switch all the
way on the right and use Green Lantern to rearrange it into a
(Only follow this paragraph if you didn't pick up Aquaman and Flash
when I told you to.  Head to the left and use the double grapple
point to get the first minikit of the level, Aquaman (MINIKIT 1/5).
Next, head to where the boss is and look behind him for a face with
gold eyes.  Destroy them for the second minikit, Flash (MINIKIT
2/5).)
Assuming you followed my directions earlier, the first thing you
should do is head all the way left to find a silver block.  Destroy
it for the Wonder Woman minikit (MINIKIT 3/5).  Next, head left.
See the black grate with the purple circular thing on top?  This
can be deconstructed with Lex Luthor for access to a treadmill.
Use the Flash to cause an explosion, giving you the final red brick
of the game: Super Goons (BRICK 1/1).
                        IV. JUSTICE LEAGUE MODE                       [JUSTL]
______________________________________________________________________________
Justice League mode is unlocked after completing story mode and can be
accessed by following the left path in the Batcave all the way up to a
terminal, which can be activated to access this mode.
The way Justice League mode works is that it will give you a certain character
to play as and you will have to defeat a wave of enemies.  Once you beat those
particular enemies, you'll be able to grab a mask/helmet and start the next
wave.  Once you defeat all waves, you'll be graded based on the amount of
times you died.  If you've died 10 or more times, you'll get a bronze medal.
Five to nine times gets you silver and four or less gets you gold. Also keep
in mind that all your extras are disabled when you're in this mode.  Below is
a guide to each stage, the character you unlock and the matches you'll face.
Keep in mind you only need a bronze to unlock that level's particular
character, but you will need to get gold on them for 100% (and the Vita
trophy).  You'll be able to see your current trophy level at the top of the
screen, so if it changes you can restart.
        GENERAL TIPS
___________________________________
*Use grapples to throw any enemies you may encounter.  It will speed things up
a lot.  You can also grapple enemies that normally can't be grappled by using
a jump attack to stun them (or by throwing a lesser enemy into them).
*Use strategy.  If you've got two mindless goons attacking you and two gun
goons shooting you from afar and doing two hearts of damage every five
seconds, which one would you kill?  Right, the gun enemies!
*Some heroes can regenerate hearts (such as Green Lantern, Hawkman and
Hawkgirl).  Use this to your advantage by making sure you're at full hearts
before switching to a non regenerating character.
*When you're in an area that has a trap, focus on that mainly before doing
anything else.  You're looking to minimize your deaths, so when you notice
that instant kill laser firing up, it's worth waiting the extra two seconds
to dodge it versus trying your luck at defeating that last enemy.  Similarly,
some enemies can be defeated using traps, such as the electricity in LexCorp
War Room or the subway switch in Gotham Metro.  Use this to your advantage.
*Just a friendly tip: aside from the first time you use him in Gotham
Theatre, every time you switch to Superman you'll either have to fight enemies
near some kryptonite or fight a major enemy with him.
*If you're looking for gold, try to memorize which parts of the level you
struggle with and try to accomodate for that particular section.  For
example, if you notice that you die three times per run on the Martian
Manhunter section of Arkham Nightmare, try your hardest to make sure that you
keep your deaths under 1 or 2 until that point.
*I suggest doing one playthrough of each level before trying to get gold.  That
way, you'll know what to expect and can prepare yourself for it.  Otherwise,
you may find yourself shocked and die an unexpected death when a penguin
bomb comes out of nowhere and blows you up.
*Character: Hush
*Battles:
1. Batman VS. Goons: Simply grab them and throw them using Circle/A.
2. Hawkman VS. Goons and Mimes: Grab the goons with the guns and defeat
    them, then attack the mimes.  Throw any remaining goons.
3. Wonder Woman VS. Balloon Goons: Use your tiara (same as Batarang) to
    destroy one of their balloons, then grab them and throw them into the
    remaining balloon goons to destroy their balloons.  Repeat until done.
4. Superman VS. Goons: Same strategy as #1, only this time they're Riddler
    goons.  This is basically a free round.
5. Power Suit Batman VS. Goons & Penguin Bombs: Be extremely careful to
    avoid the penguin bombs.  Use your own bombs to destroy the goons from
    afar until the next suit appears.  You can't destroy the penguin boxes.
6. The Flash VS. Goons, Heavy Goons & Penguin Bombs: This time you're stuck
    fighting Two-Face goons while penguin bombs chase you down.  Avoid the
    bombs and throw the goons into the ungrappleable heavy goons to stun
    them and defeat them easier.  Try to lure the penguin bombs into enemies
    and stand back so you don't get mixed up in the explosion.
7. Green Arrow VS. Joker Cameras: Oh boy.  Your hearts won't regenerate here
    and you'll need to defeat two of the Joker Cameras.  Dodge the bullets
    they fire and fire back with your bow and arrow to attack them.  I've
    found it's easiest if you run back and forth between the silver pillars
    so they can't keep up with you and then use the pillars as shields when
    you're not running.  Keep at it until they both disappear, then grab the
    fire in the center to finish the level.
         GOTHAM METRO
___________________________________
*Character: Deathstroke
*Battles:
1. Green Arrow VS. Arkham Inmates & Spiders: Just throw the inmates around
    and break the spiders.  Make sure to go after the ones with guns first.
    Keep in mind you can shoot the target on the left wall to make the
    subway come in and break anything in the center.
2. Wonder Woman VS. Plant Monsters in Goo: Watch your step here and throw
    the plant monsters when you can.
3. Aquaman VS. Plant Monsters in Goo: Same as above but when they're dead,
    clean up the goo and build the orange handle to the next battle.
4. Black Canary VS. Toxic Plants, Crazies and Spiders: This is gonna be
    tough!  Ignore the plants as you can't kill them and defeat the spiders.
    Watch out that the crazies don't creep up from behind or they'll grab
    you!  The only way to defeat them is to use your sonic voice (Circle/A)
    to stun them then attack.  Once the crazies and spiders are dead, switch.
5. Green Lantern VS. Toxic Plants, Drill Monsters & Hazard Suits: This just
    keeps getting better and better!  Throw the hazard suits into the drill
    monsters to stun them and use your arm gun to defeat the plants when you
    feel it's safe to do so (if you want, you can ignore them and continue
    on, but they may damage you too much).
6. Superman VS. Drill Monsters & Hazard Suits: Watch out as the drill
    monsters have kryptonite in them!  Try to throw the hazard suits at them
    to stun them and try to fight them one on one so they don't damage you.
7. The Flash VS. Hazard Suits: Use Flash's Super Speed to dodge the bullets
    and throw the hazard suits at each other to stun them so you don't get
    shot.
8. Sensor Suit Batman VS. Inmates, Crazies & Mr.Zsasz: Throw the goons
    around until they're defeated and Mr.Zsasz will come in with some crazies.
    Ignore the crazies as they're infinitely spawned and focus on Mr. Zsasz.
    Remember to look for three bars when he hides and don't let the crazies
    sneak up behind you.
*Character: General Zod
*Battles:
1. Electric Suit Batman VS. Security: Just keep tossing them away until
    the next round.
2. Hawkman VS. Heavy Security: Things just got tougher!  Watch out for
    the electricity and throw the lesser security away.  Keep an eye on
    where the electricity will go next.
3. The Flash VS. Electricity: You'll spawn on electric panels.  Just use
    his super speed to avoid them and run around until the walls break.
4. Wonder Woman VS. Flying Robots: While you normally can't grab them,
    shoot one down and jump/attack to stun them so you can pick them up.
    Toss them into the other flying robots and take them down.
5. Superman VS. Robots & Kryptonite: As the kryptonite only affects one
    side, avoid that side like the plague and attack the rocket launcher
    robots.
6. Martian Manhunter VS. Hazard Suits & Lasers: Throw the suits around
    and keep an eye on the top right corner.  When it starts to move,
    JUMP.  Otherwise you'll get OHKOed.  Jump back over when it returns
    and keep throwing the suits (watch out for the glitch here!  If the
    suits get defeated when the laser is activated, you'll get randomly
    killed!)
7. Electric Suit Batman VS. Mr. Freeze: Watch out for his freeze gun
    and ignore the goons.  Attack him relentlessly and he'll fall and
    finish the level.
*Character: Sinestro
*Battles:
1. Hawkgirl VS. Inmates & Crazies: Just throw the inmates and stun the
    crazies.  Watch out for the armed inmates however.
2. Wonder Woman VS. Skeletons & Spiders: This one is pretty easy.  Just
    defeat the skeletons & spiders.
3. Black Canary VS. Hatter Goons: The white suit ones can't be grappled
    until stunned so throw one of the orange suit ones into them and
    repeat till the fourth wave.
4. Martian Manhunter VS. Hazard Suits: Watch out for the fire!  Other
    than that just keep throwing them until the next round.
5. Shazam VS. Inmates & Crazies: See the first round for suggestions.
6. Superman VS. Kryptonite & Skeletons: Attack the skeletons and
    try to avoid the kryptonite as best as you can.  It's best if you
    just follow the back of the last kryptonite and grapple the
    skeletons near there.
7. Batman VS. The Joker & Chandelier: Watch out for the armed Joker in
    the corner.  Otherwise, they're just heavy goons that can be
    stunned and killed.  The Chandelier from Arkham Asylum returns and
    should be your main focus.  Use it to kill any pesky Jokers by
    running to them and waiting for the target to solidify, then
    dodge quickly.  Keep attacking it until wave 8.
8. Green Lantern VS. Spiders, Skeletons & Pillars: Defeat the spiders
    to make the pillars appear.  Use them to your advantage.  When you
    see their crosshairs appear, lead them to skeletons to OHKO them and
    then attack them until the pillars disappear.
*Character: Brainiac
*Battles:
1. Martian Manhunter VS. Robots: Just stun/grapple them away.
2. Wonder Woman VS. Flying Robots: Hit one with your tiara and then stun
    throw him into another one.  Keep the chain going.
3. Hawkgirl VS. Hazard Suits: Throw them and watch out for the laser that
    spins around.  When you see it rise, fly in the air and don't stop until
    it recedes.
4. Cyborg VS. Golden Helicopters: Shoot out their windshields with your heat
    vision but beware of their lasers/shots.
5. Lantern VS. Hazard Suits: A double spinning laser this time.  Be wary as
    this one remains on.  Use enemies to block the lower laser and jump just
    after the higher one passes.
6. The Flash VS. Robots: I found it easiest to run past the rocket launchers
    and pick on just the left two.  This gave me enough time that I could
    defeat them by the time the other spawned and wouldn't have to worry about
    their shots (the other two couldn't hit me because of the barrels and the
    second guy taking their shots).  Then run over and defeat the other two,
    who are likely bunched together.
7. Power Suit Batman VS. Receptionist: Dodge the rockets by staying close to
    the far sides and pull off the arms by hitting the Batarang symbol and
    pulling the orange handles.  Repeat until it's done.
8. Superman VS. Security: It starts out as filler, but once the security is
    dead, you'll fight Braniac in a parallel of the final battle.  Use
    Superman to destroy the gold panel covering Braniac, then switch to
    Batman when it turns silver.  If you need health, switch to Green Lantern
    or Hawkgirl to regenerate hearts.  Keep it up until he flies off.
and switch to Green Lantern to change it into a switch.
Pull it to open a secret compartment with the minikit.
*The Riddler (Area 3, 100,000): As soon as you walk in area
3, you'll see a door with an orange handle.  Use Superman
to remove it and go in the caged area.  Break the crate
closest to the screen on the right to find this minikit.
*Harley Quinn (Area 3, 100,000): Right before the area with
the camera you'll see a red wall in the northeast corner.
Use Superman to cut open a door and you'll find the minikit
behind it.
*Riddler Goon (Area 5, 2,500): When you first enter area 5,
you'll see a large waterfall on the back wall.  Freeze it
with Superman and climb up, walking across the narrow path
to a flower pot.  Smash it for this minikit.
*Bruce Wayne (Area 5, 20,000): Right after the waterfall,
you'll find two doors on either side of a fountain.  The
one on the right has a black lock on it.  Use Lex Luthor
   THE JOKER GETAWAY MINIKITS
___________________________________
*Killer Moth (Area 1, 50,000): As soon as you start the
level, you'll see a golden double door atop some stairs.
Use Superman to destroy them and flip the switch behind
the doors.  You'll create a batman symbol from silver
studs and make this minikit appear in the middle.
*Bane (Area 1, 200,000): In the first area after you've
gotten to the roof where the lift is, destroy the silver
grate covering the magnet wall on the left.  Once you get
about halfway, drop down onto the platform and go towards
the screen to find a golden gargoyle.  Use heat vision to
destroy it and get this minikit.
*Robin (Classic Suit) (Area 1, 80,000): In the first area,
climb up to the roof where the lift is and destroy the
metal grate covering the magnet wall.  Climb across and
drop down to where the tool box is.  Destroy the giant
silver gargoyle to get this minikit.
*Joker Goon (Area 2, 2,500): In area 2, head all the way to
the roof and go past the wheel in the center.  Drop down
into the pit and go to the far back left wall.  See the
golden grate to your right?  Destroy it with Superman and
head in to get this minikit.
*Tim Drake (Area 2, 20,000): In area 2 there are 5 balloons
to pop.  The first two are in the parking lot in the left
and right corners.  The third is just after the first
magnet wall.  The fourth is reachable by Batarang from the
far left dip on the roof.  The final balloon is on the
far left platform with the blue studs.  Once all five have
been destroyed, the minikit will appear in the middle of
the parking lot.
*Poison Ivy (Area 1, 100,000): In the first area, after you
destroy all three vines with weed killer you'll have access
to a Power Suit change.  Grab it and use it to blow up the
three silver tanks in the level.  The first is directly
below the suit change.  Follow the path to the left and use
the orange handle, then go up to find the second.  Follow
the path around to the north and east until you reach a
silver gate.  Below it is the last tank.  Once all three are
gone, follow the path to the left to grab the minikit.
*Asylum Inmate (Area 1, 3,000): In the first area where you
get the Power Suit change in story mode is a black wall
blocking a minikit.  Use Lex Luthor to destroy it and collect
this not-so-hidden minikit.
*Catwoman (Area 1, 100,000): In the first area, just after
you blow up the silver fence you'll see a purple bike in
front of the exit.  Smash it to pieces to get this minikit.
*Two Face Goon (Area 3, 2,500): In the third area, align the
pillars with Superman and use Robin to hop up them to a
grapple point.  Double jump to the right to an acrobat pole
and follow it to the right to find this minikit out in the
open.
*Killer Frost (Area 4, 80,000): In the fourth and final area,
you'll notice three waterfalls when you walk in.  Freeze the
middle one and climb up it to a broken fence.  Hop through
the gap and unfreeze the minikit with heat vision to get it.
    ARKHAM ASYLUM MINIKITS
___________________________________
*Asylum Patient (Area 1, 5,000): When you first get to the
electric pipe in the first area, look in front of it to
find an acrobat chute.  Use it to reach this minikit.
*Mad Hatter (Area 1, 60,000): In the lake you use to raise
the Electric Suit for Batman is a gate with an orange
handle.  Use Aquaman to pull it off and grab the minikit.
*Scarecrow (Area 1, 100,000): When you cross the electric
pipe, you'll see some wires next to the electric switch.
Use Superman's heat vision to snap them, disabling a fan.
Raise the underwater platforms and hop across to another
electric pipe with a silver door nearby.  Destroy the
silver door and go through it to the left to get this
minikit.
*Mr. Zsasz (Area 3, 80,000): When you use both wheels to
create a waterfall in area 3, use Superman's cold breath
to freeze it and climb up to the second floor.  Pull the
orange handle to open the hatch to this minikit and fly
up the red arrow to reach it.
*Mr. Freeze (Area 5, 100,000): In the fifth area with the
security cameras, disable the first set of lasers and
look to find a gold jail cell.  Get off the electric floor
and switch to Superman to destroy the door and grab this
minikit.
*Clark Kent (Area 1, 20,000): From the start, head down
until you reach a ledge with a giant golden hatch on it.
Break it with Superman to create a vent, leading to a
minikit entrapped by a vine.  Use Poison Ivy to recede
it and get the minikit.
*Freeze Goon (Area 3, 3,000): In Area 3, after climbing
up the electrified pipe, you'll see an obvious minikit
next to the grapple stairs.  Use Hazard Suit Robin or
Superman to run across the toxic goo and grab it.
*Black Mask (Area 4, 50,000): In Area 4, you'll see four
goo puddles as soon as you walk into the area.  Use
Aquaman to clean up all four to make the minikit appear.
*Vicki Vale (Area 6, 10,000): When you start the area,
head right to find a green pipe.  Use Green Lantern to
rearrange it into a switch.  This opens the nearby lift
that pushes you into this minikit.
*Captain Cold (Area 8, 80,000): You'll find a build pile
nearby when you start this area.  Build it and activate
the switch to raise a silver box.  Destroy it for this
minikit.
*Two-Face (Area 2, 100,000): Climb up the magnet wall with
Robin, then switch to Superman.  Destroy the gold object
at the top for this minikit.
*Katana (Secret Area 2, 80,000): To access Secret Area 2,
use Superman on the red wall by the second vent.  In here,
destroy the goons that rush you to get a key card and use
it to raise a crystal.  Use it with Superman to destroy
the right gold object.  Use the wheel nearby to realign
the crystal to the left side and destroy the left gold
object to raise the wall to this minikit.
*LexBot (Area 3, 5,000): After extending the bridge over
the gap near the end of the area, follow the path to the
right and look at the front of the vehicle to spot a
hanging bar.  Drop to it and you'll see this minikit.
Drop down further to nab it.
*Black Canary (Area 5, 100,000): Destroy all the robots in
area 5 to make a spider spawn.  Destroy it to create a
button, which disables the force field blocking a switch.
Use the switch to disable the electric panel, allowing
you to grab this minikit.
     THE BATCAVE MINIKITS
___________________________________
*Batman (Classic Suit) (Area 1, 100,000): When you start,
you'll see a gold object nearby.  Destroy it to build an
electric switch.  Either grab the electricity on the other
side of the electrified bridge or use The Joker to
activate it, opening up the character creation pods.  In
the middle one is this minikit.
*Batgirl (Area 1, 100,000): Head all the way right to the
furthest point of the level (without going into water) to
find a crate on fire.  Use Superman to put out the fires
and destroy the crate to get this minikit.
*Alfred Pennyworth (Area 1, 10,000): Either follow the water
to the left to the platform or head down the ladder at the
start to find four objects floating in the water.  Use
your Batarang to take them all out and this minikit will
appear.
*Nightwing (Area 2, 300,000): There are three silver objects
scattered through the level.  The first is located just
after destroying the red wall and grappling up.  The
second is located after taking the acrobat chute and using
the poles to cross.  The final one is after grappling
across the gold object grapple point and grappling up a
floor.  The minikit will fall out of the third silver
object.
*Poison Ivy Goon (Area 2, 3,000): As soon as you reach the
top of area 2, you'll see a crate on the right covered by
a vine.  Use Poison Ivy to recede them and break the crate
to get this minikit.
*Shazam (Area 2, 100,000): Head right until you find the
green pipe.  Use Green Lantern to switch the pipe around
to a switch.  Use it to bring up a crate.  Smash it and
pull the switch again.  Destroy this one and pull the
switch a final time for a crate with this minikit.
*Vixen (Area 3, 80,000): You'll see an acrobat chute when
you enter this room.  Use Robin to hop in it and grab
this minikit.
*Commissioner Gordon (Area 4, 20,000): On the left side of
the room is a blue circle.  Use Aquaman to fill it up with
water, which pushes out a minikit on the right side of the
room.
*Captain Boomerang (Secret Area 2, 20,000): You'll have to
get to Secret Area 2 to get this one.  Use Sensor Suit
Batman to sneak past the security camera in Area 4 to get
there.  On the right, you'll find a big L with three
Batarang targets.  Hit all three to get this minikit.
*Talia al Ghul (Secret Area 2, 100,000): From the above
minikit, head right more and you'll find toxic goop.  Use
Aquaman to clean it up until you see two barrels.  Destroy
the leftmost one and you'll get this minikit.
*Lex Luthor (Area 2, 500,000): In Area 2, you'll find an
acrobat chute near the middle.  Hop in it and use the
terminal to open the door to this minikit.
*Huntress (Area 1, 100,000): When you defeat the
receptionist and open the two doors, head through the right
one.  Go through the acrobat chute here to access the
second floor and cut through the red wall to the left.
Behind it is this minikit.
*Lois Lane (Area 1, 10,000): Head through the left door in
area 1 to reach a terminal.  Use it to lower the door to
this minikit.
*LexCorp Security (Area 2, 2,500): There are three black
Superman statues that can be deconstructed with Lex Luthor
in Area 2.  The first is right near the entrance by the
kryptonite bars.  The second is in the middle where the
generator is.  The last is on the far right near the
crane that goes haywire.  The minikit will appear in the
center where the second statue was (seems like too much
work for this minor character).
*Superboy (Area 4, 150,000): You'll see a miniature makeup
of Gotham when you enter this area.  Six of the buildings
are breakable (not Wayne Tower).  Once you break all six,
you'll unlock this minikit.
      GOTHAM METRO MINIKITS
___________________________________
*Killer Croc (Area 2, 100,000): This one is practically
given to you, but if you still need help, it's at the
section of Area 2 where you fight the robot hand.
Defeat the goons it spawns and it will destroy part of
the wall containing a gold pipe.  Destroy it to flood
the area and defeat the goons again.  This time it will
bring down a crate.  Destroy it and build the orange
handle.  Break it and use the switch to defeat the
hand, which leaves behind this minikit.
*Man Bat (Area 1, 80,000): At the far right of the first
area, use Aquaman to clean up the goop and use Magnet
Suit Robin to climb the wall to the switch.  Activate
the switch to drop this minikit down.
*Clayface (Area 3, 50,000): On the left is a green pipe.
Use Green Lantern to rearrange it into a boxing glove,
opening up a small alcove next to the train.  Go
through it to find a minikit surrounded by clay.  Use
Aquaman to clean it up and grab the minikit.
*Scarecrow Goon (Area 4, 5,000): Use Lex Luthor to
deconstruct the black wall on the right and destroy the
coffin inside to get this minikit.
the clock in this area and build the pile to make an
air lift.  Use it to grab this minikit.
*Hawkman (Area 1, 100,000): When the level starts, head to
the left to find a green flower pot.  Use Green Lantern
to rearrange it into a hammer and build the switch pile
the hammer leaves behind.  This will lower a lift which
has two crates on it.  Destroy the left one for this
minikit.
*Red Hood (Area 1, 200,000): Head all the way right to
find a small alcove with a black object, receded acrobat
poles and a dumpster.  Destroy the dumpster for this
minikit.
*Red Robin (Area 1, 200,000): In the middle of the level is
a red wall.  Destroy it with Superman and use Power Suit
Batman to destroy the silver pipes for a waterfall.  Freeze
it and head up it to a roof.  Glide across the gap on the
left to a treadmill.  Use The Flash to activate it, which
lowers the nearby acrobat chute.  Hop down and use Robin
to go through it and grab this minikit.
*Deadshot (Area 3, 80,000): In the third area are four blue
crates.  Destroy them all to make this minikit appear in
the middle of the stage.  The first is in the upper left
corner.  The next two are just right of the middle of the
area.  The last is in the bottom right corner.
*Lucius Fox (Area 3, 10,000): In the top left corner of the
area is a treadmill.  You'll have to pull the orange handle
nearby to raise the ladder and follow the catwalk to get to
it.  When you activate it with the Flash, you'll raise a
crate in the bottom left corner.  Destroy it for this
minikit.
   WAYNE INDUSTRIES MINIKITS
___________________________________
*Cyborg (Area 5, 100,000): When you enter the area, use the
switch to disable the electricity.  Rearrange the green
objects into a laser and pull the switch to raise four
buttons.  They need to be pressed in a random order and
you can tell whether or not they shock you if they're
right.  Once you're done, the minikit will appear in the
center.
*Green Arrow (Area 1, 200,000): Destroy the computer in
the back of the first area and throw the switch to create
three Batarang targets.  Hit them all at once for the
minikit.
*Diana Prince (Area 2, 80,000): After the first magnet wall,
head left to find a minikit trapped in a black cage.  use
Lex Luthor to deconstruct the cage and grab this minikit.
*The Joker (Tropical) (Area 3, 500,000): When you finally
reach the enemy who has been using traps against you, you'll
find a silver lock to your right.  Use someone with
explosives to destroy the lock and go in the room.  Use the
red/yellow treadmill with The Flash to destroy the radio
antenna and grab this minikit.
*Two Face (Classic) (Area 3, 150,000): When you climb the
magnet wall just after the last minikit, head left to find
a stud trail leading over a gap.  Use a glider/flier to
get across and destroy the silver and black statues to
build a coin.  Use the lever to flip it, then destroy the
goons that flood in.  When you use the lever three times,
the coin explodes and you can grab this minikit.
Hints are purchaseable from the beginning of the game and
Use this to run rings around enemies and speed through
levels.
*World's Greatest Detector: A special LEGO red brick allows
you to find where other collectables are hidden.
*Last Son of Krypton: Some hidden areas are blocked off by
Kryptonite, meaning Kryptonian characters cannot use their
powers.
*From the Depths: Aquaman is the only hero who can use a
water jet without needing a water source nearby.
*Quick Spin: Holding down X/B will allow you to quickly hop
between acrobat poles.
*Quite A Shock: The Joker has an electric buzzer, which
charges electric switches without needing to move it from
another.
*Counter Productive: If another enemy attacks you while
holding an enemy, press Circle/A to counter attack them
whilst they run towards you.
*Mind Over Matter: Some characters can use mind control by
holding Circle/A.  This lets you stun enemies and defeat
Exclusive to the Playstation Vita version of the game are unlockable trophies,
Playstation's version of achievements.  Below is the list of trophies and how
to unlock them.
-(Platinum) Complete Hero: Collect all trophies.
    Once you obtain every trophy in the game, this will unlock automatically.
-(Bronze) Open Mic Knight: Complete Gotham Theatre.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the first level.
-(Bronze) The Joke's on you!: Complete The Joker Getaway.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the second level.
-(Bronze) A-maze-ing Chase: Complete Arkham Estate.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the third level.
-(Bronze) Dishonourably Discharged!: Complete Arkham Asylum.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the fourth level.
-(Bronze) A Winning Formula: Complete ACE Chemicals.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the fifth level.
-(Bronze) Road to Ruin: Complete Juggernaut Chase.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the sixth level.
-(Bronze) Deconstructive Criticism: Complete The Batcave.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the seventh level.
-(Bronze) Flying Lessons: Complete Assault the VTOL.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the eighth level.
-(Bronze) Behind Enemy Lines: Complete Attack on LexCorp.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the ninth level.
-(Bronze) Frequent Flyer: Complete Robot Sky Battle.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the tenth level.
-(Bronze) Hero in Train-ing: Complete Gotham Metro.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the eleventh level.
-(Bronze) Double-crossed!: Complete Brawl at City Hall.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the twelveth level.
-(Bronze) Hostile Takeover: Complete Wayne Industries.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the thirteenth level.
-(Bronze) Justice Leauge, Assemble!: Complete The Final Battle.
    This unlocks automatically after completing the fourteenth level.
-(Bronze) The Big Brick Theory: Create your first character.
    After completing Gotham Theatre, you will be able to go to the Batcave.
    Once there, head left until you see several pods.  Go up to the blue
    circle and press circle to enter character creation mode.  Create any
    character you want and save it and this trophy will unlock.
-(Bronze) Bane of my Life: Take down Batman with Bane.
    Once you unlock Bane in mission 2, go into free play and choose both
    Batman and Bane.  Switch to Bane and destroy Batman with Bane.  It may
    take a few tries for the trophy to unlock.
-(Silver) All Change!: Swap characters using Super Freeplay.
    After you beat ACE Chemicals, you should have enough characters to get
    this.  Go into any level and choose free play.  Once it loads, swap
    characters using L/R and tap the S icon at the end of the character
    list.  Choose the character you didn't bring with you and when you
    return to the game, this trophy will unlock.
-(Silver) Sound Advice: Collect all the Sound Bite tokens.
    There are 14 sound bites in the game (one for each mission).  For their
    locations, see the section under [SBITE].  You do not have to purchase
    them to unlock the trophy.
-(Silver) Call Shotgun: Stun an enemy with Commisioner Gordon and kill them.
    Once you unlock Commisioner Gordon in mission 8, go into free play
    and look for any enemy (you could even choose one as your second
    character).  Stun them with your weapon and kill them for the trophy.
    It may take a few times to unlock.
-(Silver) Taking the Plunge: Help an enemy off a ledge in Wayne Industries.
    The way I got it was during the first area.  Once the Joker bot attacks
    and brings down the wall, enemies will rush at you.  Pick one up with
    circle and throw them into the newly destroyed wall and they will break,
    unlocking this trophy at the same time.
-(Silver) Siamese Bat: As Catwoman, use the Stealth Takedown to attack Batman.
    You actually have to kill Batman for this to work.  Go into free play
    and select Catwoman and Batman.  Press circle to use Catwoman's stealth
    power and kill Batman with it.  It may take a few tries to unlock.
    You get her in mission 3.
-(Silver) Batter Up!: Glide with Batman for 5+ seconds.
    This can be obtained after Gotham Theatre.  Head back to the Batcave
    and head up to where you can access the Justice League missions.  See
    the trail of studs to the right?  Jump off the ledge and hold X to
    glide.  Once you're close to landing, turn around and continue gliding
    across the water.  The trophy will pop up when you've gilded long
    enough.  If it doesn't, climb back up and try again.
-(Silver) True Hero: Achieve a True Hero stud total.
    You only have to get one True Hero for this trophy.  The easiest one is
    likely Robot Sky Battle (5,000 studs) or The Final Battle (1,000 studs),
    but if you take time collecting studs you'll get this as early as
    Gotham Theatre.
-(Silver) Starter Pack: Unlock all the Ability packs for the char customiser.
    These are unlocked from purchasing characters and you'll likely get it
    along the way to Super Friends and Bad Influence.  Just follow the guide
    to find all the characters and purchase them.  This will unlock shortly
    afterwards.  This will likely unlock during the Justice League missions.
-(Silver) Brick by Brick: Collect all the Red Bricks.
    There are 14 red bricks in the game, one per level.  Check the section
    [BRICK] for their locations.  You don't have to buy them to unlock this.
-(Gold) Super Friends: Collect all the Hero characters.
    I'm told you don't need to buy all the Hero characters, but this should
    come naturally on your way to 100%.  For a list of characters and their
    locations, check [CHARS].  This will unlock sometime during The Final
    Battle, if you happened to be following my guide that is.
-(Gold) Bad Influence: Collect all the Villain Characters.
    I'm told you don't need to buy all the Villain characters, but this
    should come naturally on your way to 100%.  For a list of characters and
    their locations, check [CHARS].  This will unlock after beating Justice
    League mode if you followed my guide.
-(Gold) Happy Daze: Stun 100 enemies.
    A stunned enemy is one that stands dazed, with stars circling their head.
    The easiest way to do this is to jump and attack, which should send a
    shockwave out, stunning nearby enemies.  Keep doing this until the
    trophy unlocks.
-(Gold) Unbreakable: Finish a level without losing all your hearts.
    This can be done at any point, but the easiest level I've found to get
    this on is level 7, The Batcave.  There are hardly any enemies, no
    pitfalls on the first area and it's short enough that it can be retried
    in a few minutes if you mess up.  Just use Superman (who is near
    invincible anyway) and watch your step during the climbing section.
-(Gold) MVP: Complete every arena in Justice League Mode.
    Justice League mode is unlocked after beating story mode.  You can
    access it from the left path of the Batcave at the top.  There are five
    levels.  For more information, check out [JUSTL].
-(Gold) Justice is Served: Win Gold in every arena in Justice League Mode.
    Justice League mode is unlocked after beating story mode.  You can
    access it from the left path of the Batcave at the top.  There are five
    levels and you have to minimize your deaths in order to win the gold
    medals on each.  For more information, check out [JUSTL].
                              VIII. FAQS                               [FAQS]
______________________________________________________________________________
________________________________
       ABOUT GAME
________________________________
Q: I've never seen a sound bite/Who is ____?  A DLC character?/Where's your
  section for Gold Bricks & Citizens in Peril?
A: You must be using the Xbox 360/PS3/PC version.  This guide does not apply
  to those three versions.  It is only for the Vita/3DS/DS versions.
Q: How is this different from the console version?
A: The console version's levels are much more fleshed out for starters.  There
  is also a huge explorable replica of Gotham City that contains hundreds of
  collectables just waiting to be found (as well as a radar so you can keep
  track).  The console version also has gold bricks, citizens in peril and
  free flying.  There are also different characters.
Q: What's the difference between the Vita, 3DS and DS versions?
A: They're all the same game with minor differences.  The DS is the most
  lacking and has no extra features.  The 3DS is obviously in 3D and has
  streetpass and the Vita is the most high definition, with PS3 trophy
  support and Near.  All three can use the touch screen to aim the
  Batarang (or their powers).  It also seems like the 3DS version is more
  zoomed in than the Vita version and there are a few minor differences
  here and there (such as the grapple point in level 2 being a bar you can
  hop across.)
Q: What's Streetpass/Near do?
A: Streetpass allows you to save a small amount of information to your 3DS,
  so when you put it on standby mode (with or without the game), it will
  search for other 3DS signals.  When it finds one that has Lego Batman 2
  data, each player will get a stud bonus.  The Vita version has Near,
  which allows you to choose a character/red brick as a gift to give to
  other players.  Then you can search the surrounding area for other
  players and if they're giving a Lego Batman 2 gift, you can download it
  to your game.
Q: Is this game based off of the movies or the comics at all?
A: No, it's a completely new story that follows what would happen if Lex
  Luthor and the Joker teamed up to try and take down Gotham city.
Q: Do I have to play Lego Batman 1 to understand this game?
A: Nope!  Completely seperate stories.
Q: What's new and improved in Lego Batman 2?
A: Well, for starters, the missions aren't one per villain like in one.
  Instead, there's a super team of villains you take down throughout
  the missions.  The biggest improvement is that the Lego figurines
  now have spoken dialogue, so it has an actual story now.  There's also
  a few new gameplay features and it also includes heroes and villains
  from other DC series, such as Green Lantern, Aquaman and Superman.
Q: What other games are in the Lego series?
A: As of this writing, they have three Star Wars games (not including
  complete collection), two Indiana Jones games, two Harry Potter
  games, another Batman game, a Rock Band game, a Pirates of the
  Carribbean game and a Lord of the Rings game.  Marvel Superheroes
  was just announced and should be out soon.  For you Vita players,
  you're limited to Batman 2, Harry Potter Years 5-7 and Lord of the
  Rings at the moment (as well as a few downloadable PSP ones).
Q: How do I play multiplayer?
A: Unlike the console versions, which feature drop in/drop out
  multiplayer at the push of a button, you actually have to start it
  up from the main menu.  Keep scrolling to the right until you see
  it.  The first player should host, while player two should join.
________________________________
          GAMEPLAY
________________________________
Q: What's the difference between story and free play?
A: In story mode, you're forced to use the characters you're given
  and are shown cutscenes that progress the story.  In free play,
  you can play as any character you want and the cutscenes are
  automatically skipped.
Q: How do I beat/unlock _________?
A: There's a reason I wrote this guide and it's to show you how to
  beat the game and unlock everything while doing it.  Please see
  the walkthroughs and collectables sections, as they have every
  unlockable you can ever want.
Q: How do I unlock Justice League mode?
A: Beat the story and then follow the path to the left and up.
  Use the terminal to summon a helicopter to take you to the
  missions.
Q: How do I get golds on Justice League Mode?  It's impossible!
A: It's not impossible.  In fact, it's quite easy with pratice.  Just
  remember to use strategy.  For example, if you have one heart left
  and the character you're about to change to doesn't regenerate hearts,
  wait till you get full health to switch.  It also helps to grapple
  the enemies, as this cuts down on time and is pretty effective.
  You can grapple the non-grapple enemies by stunning them with a jump
  attack.  Other than that, just practice and learn where the toughest
  parts are so you can account for your deaths being there.
Q: What's required for 100%?
A: True Hero on all 14 story AND free play missions, all 14
  sound bites found and unlocked, all 85 characters purchased and
  unlocked, all 70 minikits found, all 10 hints purchased and
  all five Justice League missions beaten with gold medals.
Q: How do I use Super Freeplay mode?
A: Press L/R to change characters and tap the symbol in the corner
  that resembles an S.  Choose your character from the list.
Q: What's the deal with the minikits this time around?
A: Each minikit gives you a new unlockable character.  Not sure
  why they did it but it's fun and sure beats searching worlds
  for the character tokens.
Q: What's a good way to collect studs?
A: Well, you can get a good amount of studs from the Batcave just
  by running around.  The best part is that if you quickly enter
  the character creator and exit out, the studs will reappear.
  After you've gotten a score multiplier, another good trick is
  to collect 1,100 studs and die.  Each time you die, you'll drop
  a blue 1,000 stud and a gold 100 stud, but with multipliers
  you'll pick it up at the multiplied rate (so with Score x2
  you'll get 2,200).  You can keep doing this to multiply your
  studs each time.  Of course, once you afford all 5 multipliers
  you won't need to go out of your way to get studs.
Q: Why do you suggest to get things before free play?
A: Because they're necessary in the long run.  You can't get
  everything, even in free play, without the things I suggest.
  The multipliers will help in the long run when you need studs.
  Why not get them as early as possible?
Q: Hey!  Where's the collectable you mentioned?  All I can find
  is a green check mark!
A: You've already gotten that particular collectable.
Q: How can I differentiate collectables I've already gotten?
A: Minikit characters will have a blue swirl around the check mark,
  while red bricks will have a red aura.  Sound bites have nothing.
Q: Why does it keep saving after every level?  It's getting annoying!
A: Because it's autosaving your progress so if your battery dies or
  you otherwise turn off your system, you'll start right at the area
  you left off.  Trust me, it helps.  My copy froze several times
  during the making of this walkthrough and I was glad it did save my
  progress so I wouldn't have to redo the parts I had already
  covered.
Q: Why don't you show how to hack terminals?
A: Because they're random each time you do it.  Try to focus on two
  of the symbols if you're having trouble (that way you'll automatically
  know where the third is).  If you're still having trouble, hit the
  Home/PS button to pause the action and write down the color combo.
Q: This trophy won't unlock!  What am I doing wrong?
A: If it's the villain trophy, make sure you beat Justice League mode to
  unlock five more characters (same with the Ability Pack trophy).  For
  the free play destroy X with X trophies, keep trying it over and over
  until it unlocks.  For any of the others, just verify that you've
  met the criteria in the trophies section.
Q: Can I e-mail you this uber cheat?
A: No you may not.  Not only is this game easy, but this guide gives
  you the information you need to find any collectable in the game,
  thereby invalidating the need for cheats.
Q: Where is your extras/codes section?
A: I figure there's enough websites that offer you the 6 symbol
  codes out there that you can get them from there.  Not only that,
  the codes only unlock collectables in this game that my guide shows
  you how to get without cheating (which is way more fun in my eyes).
Q: Your guide is awesome!  Can I host it?
A: No, you may not.  This guide is only to be hosted on www.gamefaqs.com and
  its affiliate www.gamespot.com.  It's amazing that I still get e-mailed
  this question even though it says no clearly in four spots.
Q: Are you considering writing any more guides for the Lego series?
A: I may, depending on my free time.  If I do, the next one will likely be
  Lego Harry Potter 5-7 (or Lego Lord of the Rings) for Vita.
Q: You suck.
A: I know I don't even need to vacuum anymore but thanks for the observation.
Q: Do you have any other contributed works?
A: For a complete list of my published walkthroughs and reviews, visit
  http://www.gamefaqs.com/users/Jerrynsteph4eva/contributions .
