                       Dai Gyakuten Saiban
                 Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken

Spoiler-Free Walkthrough by Chauzu

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Ace Attorney series - also known as Gyakuten Saiban in Japan - is one of
my favourite game series ever and when I was studying japanese a few years ago,
the prospect at being able to play all games at japanese release was a huge
motivator. When the last Ace Attorney was released in Japan, I wrote a
walkthrough while playing through Gyakuten Saiban 5, which was appreciated by
many and it also let me savour the moment more, so here I'm back writing another
one for the newest entry, Dai Gyakuten Saiban! When I am writing this it is
almost a year since the game was released, and just like the last walkthrough,
I started writing it during my first playthrough. However, most of the file
got deleted to mistake, and I kinda forgot about it until the release of
Gyakuten Saiban 6, which I will begin playing within a day of writing this!
I will be writing a walkthrough for that game as well, and finishing this
walkthrough has been a good warm-up excercise.

If you want to contact me you can mail me at [email protected]

1.0: Walkthrough for all cases are finished.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
III. How To Use This Walkthrough
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To avoid spoilers in the table of contents I've decided to go with a search
mechanism which you can use to search where you want to go. It looks like this:

*case(number)--trial/investigation-part(number)*

So if you're - hypotethically - at case 2 in trial you'd search for:

*case2-trial*

Also, to go to the beginning of a case, search for *case(number)*. Example:

*case1*

If you keep track of what part of the chapter you are in, you can also search
for that. This is the number showned when you save the game. For example, if
you are on part 2 of the case 1, day 1 trial:

*case1-trial-part2*

When you've found where you are in the game, simply scroll down slowly until
you are at the point where you're stuck, and you will avoid any spoiler.

I also want to add that I'm playing on the japanese version of the game. I will
usually use a personally translated name of evidence, while names might have
some description as well. For example:

Present > School Badge
Talk to > Main character (Naruhodou Ryuusuke)

This guide is designed to be used even if you play the japanese version or the
upcoming fan translation.
