Long touted as the "Spirital Successor to Earthbound" it's finally here!
It was even being marketed in my email as the following:

            "Citizens of Earth - Bound to Win You Over!"

My eyes immediately drawn to "Earth...Bound.." My parents got me Earthbound
back when it came out in the mid 90s!

It's been a large part of my life, so I'm enthralled when anything even
comes close! So here I am! :3

Playing through so far I have found that it is most definately inspired by
Earthbound. Perhaps a love letter to it even. There's all sorts of nerdy
references! Doctor Who! Popular Songs! even... /innuendo/ *Gasp*!


I dedicate this walkthrough to Electra. Let her dream of trout flavored yogurt
finally be recognized!

-Press [R] for a Mini Map

-Press [B] to run a little faster

-There are 5 stats. ATK, DEF, SP-ATK, SP-DEG, AGI

-There are no SP in this game, but blue orbs (Energy) to use skills

-Certain skills can refill your Energy or use them

-Use a Party of characters that are strong against the current monster element

-There's different elements of skills. If you attack an enemy with their
elemental weakness, you gain 1 energy. Same for if a wrong element is used,
you lose 1 energy

-Press "Y" to "Charge" at an enemy. The screen will change color depending.
Surprise Attack: Green Screen
Normal Attack: Blue Screen
Red Attack: Red Screen
Back Attack: Instantly Kills Monster (Must be powerful enough as well)

-If you surprise attack, you gain an energy

-If you are back attacked, you lose an energy

-Element icons are kind of low resolution on the 3DS, so here's what each icon
means! I may refer to different elements as colors throughout, because I can

-There are two types of attacks in addition to the element
Physical: Labeled Blue in Battle
Special: Labeled Red in Battle

-On your tablet the buttons at the side have different options.

-You may want to recruit the Yoga Instructor very early in the game because
in order to recruit her, ALL of your citizens have to be level 20. This will be
slightly harder to achieve later in the game

-Combine the Mascot & Photographer's talent to powerlevel in the VR Arena.
The Mascot boosts XP substantially, and the Photographer duplicates the
monster - Current HP level and all

-To switch the language of the game, change the language of your 3DS

-You have two different levels.
Battle Level: Affects your stats (EXP gained normally)
Talent Level: Affects your individual special ability (Seperate Talent EXP)

-In my guide I list at what approx. battle level your talent level levels up.
Your results will vary, and it's for an estimate only!

-The 3DS does not show in 3D - The game is 2D only

Head upwards and you'll find some new monsters. The Telefawn pack quite a punch
but if you get a plant, he can summon bubblebees. The bees themselves can cause
sickness. Make sure to hug if you get it.

To the north west is the camp counselor. He hears something to the south east.
There's a telefawn here that you can talk to. You battle, nothing special. Head
toward the cave to the south west a little. You smell a smelly smell.... find a
key inside, and are attacked by Shrekbear (Honey Bear). It can heal itself.
He's not too hard, just timeout and doggiepile him. He drops Heirloom Pin for
Mom.

To the south west of the camp counselor is a BIG bubblebee, the queasy bee. He
says "Buzz Buzz" which is VERY suspicious. Don't talk to him unless you're
ready to fight! I recommend a level of 9 when fighting him.

Once defeated, open the box to find Oven Mitts (For the Baker).

Head back to HomeTown now, you can get quests for recruiting a few more people.

The School Mascot is now out and about near MoonBucks. You can change the
game's difficulty with him! The difficulty scales from .75 to 2x. .75 is
easiest, while 2x is hardest. I don't recommend doing 2x at the moment. The
next area is almost impossible without leveling on that setting.

Head back to your house to nap and regain HP. Alternatively you can also DREAM,
which at the moment doesn't do much.

The Scientist is near the Cops station. She can change the time.

Take the time if you havent already to finish finding the evidence from the
Java Beans for the Conspiracy Guy recruitment. Head to the Cops station and
free him. Head back into the cell and grab his Dayvision Goggles.

Now go to Moonbucks and unlock the backdoor. Grab the cappuccino and step on
the switch.

If you head to the right, attack a Decaffinator. He sometimes makes you buy a
Special Blend. Once you get that you can head back to the Barista and recruit
her. She is super effective in the next area against Java monsters. Conspiracy
Guy is effective using cattle prod against decaffinators.

Once you run into another blue teleporter, you'll go down to the next level.
If you head up, there will be a Javahemoth, and to the west, a Decaffinator
that you can talk to. If you talk to him and select "no", he will fight you
(and you can repeat this). Kill Decaffinators till he forces you to buy a
Special Blend. (During combat)

Down here you will encounter school mascot's spirit. He will run often but his
HP stays whereever you get it down to. Once you defeat it, he will join you.

To the west of the Decaffinator that talks, you will find Bowling Shoes for
your brother.

After you teleport again, you'll find 3 Cappuccinerds, a Decaffinator, and a
Mr. Mocha. He's pretty tough. You'll want the party to be lv. 10-12. Weak to
Conspiracy Guy's Cattle Prod. He drops Travel Mug for Barista.

Go to the school (Lower Right area). Get the recruit the Mascot quest.

Head inside the school. The teacher will teach you about EXP and Leveling from
within the school.

Try to recruit him! He'll quiz you.

If you go upstairs you'll find the programmer, internet, and VR Arena. Grab the

You'll see a protester near a building by Mt. PomPom. If you talk to him he'll
note he has some dirt on the Opposition Leader in the captial! But you need
proof at the capital.

Now the next part is fairly difficult. I would recommend grinding on cops up to
level 15 or so. If you sneak up behind cops and Charge, you will kill them
automatically!

Head back to the Cop Shop, tell them you had something to do with MoonBucks'
disappearance. You'll have to fight cops! After you defeat the 3 sets of cops,
you will fight the cop herself. Again, if you're level 15 you won't have too
much trouble.

After you've got the cop, it's onward to the capital! You'll go through
Crystal Beach, encounter contructionsquid, and then be roaring through the
capital!

Head up to the hotel. Talk to the exterminator and gambler, grab their quests.

While you're up near the Gambler, check out the room on the right for a
Security Blanket (Psychologist).

Head north of the hotel to the President's office. It will look like 2 brick
posts surrounded by shrubbery. Talk to the round shrub on the right to be let
in. once you're in, talk to the eagle. Head to the left and upstairs to the
second floor. Talk to the president.

Now we're off to the capital's MoonBucks!

If you stop off at the Bistro, you can talk to the Pharmacist. Head south from
the bistro to talk to the Captain. If you head allll the way right on the beach
you can pick up a Snazzy Suit for the Cars Salesman.

If you head right from the Hotel, you can talk to the Architect and hire her to
rebuild MoonBucks. ($1000)

We're going to do some backtracking now! Head back to HomeTown. In Moonbucks
talk to the painter and get his recruitment quest.

Go to the south west part of town and get the Firefighter's recruitment quest
from inside the fire building (Red Brick)

Head south of the fire building to find a purple building. Inside is a
Bulletproof Vest (Cop). You can go to the pharmacy and buy things from the
pharmacist, but cant get his recruitment quest yet. If you head to the north
middle part of the bottom half of town, you can grab the BeeKeeper's quest.

Across from the beekeeper and up a screen is the farmer. You cant grab her
quest yet, but you can use her combine skill if needed to get rid of some of
those coffee grounds!

To the right of the Beekeeper/Farmer area, check out the Sushi Bar. You can
grab his recruitment quest here as well. To the right of that is the Musician.

Just south east of the musician is the duckling we were looking for in the
Anchory Bird quest

To the right and south of him is the Lifeguard. The Captain is near her, too...
but we already grabbed his quest earlier.

The middle south building is the  soda shoppe! Grab the bartender's quest,
finish his mini game, and do some shopping!

Press the "A" button repeatedly When the bar is green, and let go with it's
red.

Goal: 50,000 score

This game is pretty tough unless you get the "secret" - which is - pay
attention to the timing. The bar will always turn red at the same interval
on each stage... Progressively getting shorter as you head up in levels.

By just keeping in time with the changes, I ended up with over 100,000 score
when I played the game.


Right above this building is the Yoga building. Grab her quest! In the next
room over is the Body Builder.

-Have him let you practice
-Head up top of the mirrors and line yourself up so it looks like you have
the muscles!


A tall green building in the area has the Architect and Psychologist. You
should already have the architect. The third floor houses a painting for the
artist! Near the painting you will find the Psychologist. If you recruit him
you'll have a dream sequence.

This is a little difficult.
-Talk to everyone to make your mom appear
-Go back to the main room with no people and your mom appears
-Talk to your mom (She disappears)
-Talk to your brother (He disappears)
-Talk to your mom (She disappears)
-Talk to the president (Yes I'm looking for you) (He disappears)
-Talk to your mom (She disappears)
-Talk to the Opposition Leader (Yes I'm looking for you) (He disappears)
-Talk to your mom (She disappears)
-You wake up and he joins you

The last thing to do in this building is challenge the Heckevator. At lv. 16
I had no issues. You need to get his HP Down (keep challenging him if he kicks
you out!) Once his HP is 0, flee! You'll be spit out on floor 4 (Previously
closed). Talk to the handyman and he joins you, no problem!

Now we're done backtracking in HomeTown. Head back East to Crystal Beach.
Going East still, we run into the Used Car Salesman!

Battle to regain energy


After recruiting him, we need to rid! (in the car if you wish). We need to get
past that pesky constructasquid!

Head to the most north eastern part of the map to head up the hill towards
the lighthouse. Turn the lighthouse on (Examine the door). Go to the right
a little near the helipad to get the Photographer's last photograph.

Feel free to go back to HomeTown and recruit her if you like.

Now on our way back to the Capital, we have to deal with tentacles! The
Tentacle drops Pickle Jar for the Bartender!

Head to the Capital. If you use the handyman, make sure not to use nail gun
on the stop vines... unless you would definately like to be stopped.


Now over to MoonBucks. Talk to the Cappucinerd. Head outside. Battle the two
enemies. Body Builder & Handyman are good for this fight.

Now that the city is in chaos, you need to go to the left of the main building
and enter through the garage. Once inside, head right till you find a green
room to the north. Talk to the tank. He tells you about collecting different
forms in the correct order. Head to the top floor (west, north, east) to
find the eagles with the forms. (They are all in their seperate rooms with
color coded carpet)

If you are having an issue with the groups of enemies, try this party:

Bodybuilder: Use Ship's Mast to attract attention
Mom: Reprimand (Area of Effect)
Handmyman: Hard Hat to Body Builder / Super Glue when HP needed.

Forms:
Y: Release of Liability: Submit this after submitting an odd # of other forms.
R: Request form: Submit the green form before the yellow form.
B: Purchase Order: Submit this after the green form.
G: Inconsequential Form: Do not submit this one first.

Head back downstairs. Before heading to the green room, go back to the garage
entrance, only down this time and you'll find the library. In the library is
a box with ointment for the pharmacist.

When you're done wandering, go into the green room again to deliver papers.

Here's the correct order. (Special thanks to beyowulf of GameFAQs for this!)

Time to battle Tankenstein! He's not too tough. Buzzsaw him if you've got the
handyman. You now get a cupcake and access to the reception area!

While wandering around looking for reception area, I came across a room with
a blue carpet that had a roped off secret service painting. If you examine it,
it's the painter's third painting!

The recreation area is a southwest room that was previously locked with a red
"X" by it. Talk to the Toupee Eagle, then battle him! He'll disappear and
you can continue to the left. If you head left even more, you'll find a door
that has been boarded up. Use the handyman to open it and get the Whistle for
the Lifeguard.

Head up the stairs (to the southwest) (Not the stairs guarded by the tank).
Snake around the different rooms. You're getting close when you see a dark
room with an illuminated flag to your right.

Talk to the president when you find him. A battle! Concentrate on the chair.
Once the chair's dead, the battle's over. He was a huge pushover.

Wander around and explore! There's a lot of boxes and other things to find
around this area. To the north of the roped off sculpture is the evidence the
protestor was looking for.

When you're done wandering, head back to the reception area, up the right
previously locked door, and north again to find the secretary. He gets you
started on your chapter 3 quests. Onward!

While you're here, you might as well do the Renter's Remorse Quest!

Renter's Remorse
-Collect 10 Buggy Bodies (Dropped from Buggy)

Explore around town some more to find an area that looks like there's been
dirt dug all around it. In the middle is a very obese child named Moody Foody.
Talk to him and you get into a fight. He's very weak to verbal, so get Mom and
your choice of verbals out there! He gives good EXP, especially if you use
Mascot's EXP boost. (450 EXP I Believe!) He drops Cookie Cutter (Baker) and
Angel Food cake and Devils Food cake.

At this point I'm pretty sure we can get the pharmacist's quest. Head over to
this bistro, (South west pink building) and for some reason he is extremely
obese now, and asks for a Donut. We need to run back to HomeTown to get this...

But first! In Crystal beach, put the lifeguard on your team, head to the bottom
where it shows an icon on your mini map. Head underwater, battle until you get
fresh

Run back to the bakery in HomeTown, grab the
world's biggest donut from the beginning of the game, and give it to him.

He asks for help in losing weight, and you head into battle. If you kill him,
he yells at you... so what to do? Run from him! and He'll chase you! Keep
running till he loses all that weight. The Pharmacist joins you!


Now we can kind of pick our own destination for recruiting purposes.

I'll head back to HomeTown. I'll find the protester and give him the evidence,
which nets me Flashy Jewelry for the car salesman.

I briefly ran up to Appleton (North of hometown) and grabbed the quest to
recruit the beekeeper, we're going to run across some of the bees before we
actually want to be in Appleton.

For now though -

We'll head south to Whisperwood. Go back to hometown. Now, go south till you
hit Whisperwood. North of where the beekeeper was (next to the farmer)
is where the first bee is. Get that while you're here.

Head south. There's not a whole lot to the left or right paths at the moment.


You'll come to a cemetary area thats divided up a bit. One of the sections has
a sun icon, the other a moon icon. In the moon icon area is the crazy cat lady
who serves no purpose here. If you go above that area, you'll see the yoga
instructor as well as the camp counselor.

If you talk to the camp counselor, he'll join you right then and there no fuss.

If you open the sun gates, there's an Andie the Anaconda grave in one, and in
the other, the scientist. She says she'll join you if you stand next to her
during a thunderstorm.

If you want to grab the gardener right now, you can. She's southwest of
WhisperWood in the middle of the hedge maze. If you grab her now, it will make
some stuff throughout a little quicker. If you want to grab her, see the section
below on "Hedge Maze". While you're in the area, the Hobo is a quick grab too.

A trip back to Crystal beach to return the Anchery Bird, which nets us the
Legwarmers for Yoga Instructor.

While we're in Crystal Beach, we'll recruit the Lifeguard!

Underwater

She'll give you mouth to mouth and send you underwater. Head northeast. There's
a mini map if you press [R]. Talk to the squid, then kick his butt!

While we're down here, grab 5 Fresh Sushi and then deliver them to the Sushi
Chef in HomeTown to recruit him. Be careful though, they run out of time if
you dont visit him fast enough!

Head into the capital but to the Northwest of capital across bridge, stepping
into Crystal Beach/Flushmoor briefly to find: Bonus RAM for Programmer

Head to the Capital - south eastern part of the city.. It's Eden Industries.
Upstairs is the Programmer. He'll have a mini game for you... kind of.

He sends you into the internet, and you fight viruses. Follow the area to the
right and north and he'll thank you and join you.

Step 2: Find database in the junkyard!

Before we get out there, we'll head upstairs and grab the musician.


Minigame: DDR-Esque sort of game.. only it's pretty hard, there's not really
music playing, and you need a pretty high score. I've played DDR my whole life
and I really sucked at this. The only advice I can give you is use the circle
pad instead of the D pad. I only ended this game with 60,400 and you need 60k.

By now you should have all of the paintings too, so talk to the painter and
grab him as well.


To Appleton Farms! So let's head there to grab the exterminator. If you didnt
run there earlier to grab the bee quest, it's north of HomeTown through Mt. Pom
Pom.

The bridges will be built via the architect but the mini map wont reflect this.

If we go to the NE Mount Pom Pom with the gardener, we can cross the bridge
and grab Fluffles, one of the cat lady's cats.

Otherwise, head NW!

Welcome to beautiful Appleton farms!

Northwest shows us the bee keeper's farm. She'll join us if we find her bees.
If you grabbed her quest earlier, we've already found some of them.

We find the Exterminator near fenced off trees.

"fight" the bugs as they get near trees. You cant get them all and it was pretty
difficult finding out exactly what I had to do, but it's no problem once you've
done it a few times.l

Southeast of Mt.PomPom is Hidden Cove where you can finish one of photographer's
quests.

Now that we're done with Appleton for now, and we don't know ehere the
progammer for Radar Database is yet,



I'll head to the southeast and lift the weight with the bodybuilder. We're in
Bigsteppe temporarily. If I walk southeast, I'll find Mystery Vial for the
Scientist.

Go back to Appleton, north, then east again to get back to Bigsteppe. Go
straight down once you get there to get Cat Lady's Tiger! Straight north
has a Snazzy Suit for the car salesman.

Keep heading east to get to the Junkyard. Just FYI, south of the area leads you
to Crystal Beach. If you head immedietly northwest you'll find a box with
New-ish Shoes for the Homeless Guy. All the way to the northeast corner nets you
another bee.

Head to the part with the cars in the center. Right where the path forks at
the top is an area the bodybuilder can lift. Life them off, put the programmer
in your party, and check out the computer!

He says east of the Capitol, in the desert. You COULD Access the internet and
kind of take a short cut to the capitol... but I've found I'm no good at
navigating this 'net, so I'll just use my Pilot to fly out of here. (You
probably don't have the pilot yet, I'll explain later, but you could try the
'net, or just walk back!)

Now we'll head off to Grasslands, which is just to the east of Eden Industries.
If you head to the north behind the cultesac, behind the house is the tape
measure for the architect.


There's a small area near the hay pyramid that you can get your picture taken.

If you're exploring  the north east area. Upon hitting the fork, if you go
north by the drive-in logo, you get to the *gasp* drive in! Not a whole lot
here at the moment unless you want to get the pilot. A bad thing is, though,
you get deposited in Well springs desert, which is a pretty tough place, as
well as pretty hard to get back from. So beware if you do that! (See below in
the "Drive-In" section if you decide to go to the drive in first. The pilot
certainly is useful.)


The farmer is kind of in the middle of the map we need to solve her crop
circle issue!

Going in Circles

We need to investigate the area at night! Hopefully it's night out, if not,
you'll have to wait till 6pm.

Once it's night, talk to the farmer. Now it's time to slap some MOO F.O.s!

They only appear at night. If you entered the area in the day time, exit the
area and re-enter at night. I had some issues in my game with them showing up.

After you've killed so many of them (I think 5 or 6) the quest completes!

But that's not all! We have to run up to Appleton and find the cow! The cow
is in the southwest brown section of the map!

Now head back to Grasslands and talk with her! Finally! The Farmer at last!

Head south and you'll come across a couple Hippies! They are angry, so slap
them! Then they turn.... eeeevil :O Slap them again! Near the center of the
map is an energy circle. Talk to the Hippies north of that. We need to bring
back the chill by finding the hippie guru to the east!

First we have to head a whole map south, then a whole map east. Talk to the
pharmacist as you pass him to get a Strange pill.

Head to the northwest above the Scientist. Enter the cave, when you come out,
go to the east. If you prune the shrub you can grab the World Atlas for the
teacher.

Head into the nearby cave. You encounter the Hippie Guru! He's resistant to
verbal, so take that in consideration.

Camp KooKoo
*****

Camp KooKoo is northwest of HomeTown, if you remember right. If you head to the
west, the counselor will appear and tell you that you cant go to the factory
yet. So head north, west, and then south to the actual camp... and acround
the back to the factory anyway. This area's monsters are weak to verbal so make
sure you get soem good verbal people on your team. If you pair the Mascot,
Photographer, and someone else, you can do some serious leveling here. Make sure
to use the photographer's duplicate spell to do more power leveling.

Cookie Factory
****

The toasters are RESISTANT to verbal, so change your party up a bit. I used the
Handyman as my main.  Enter the building from the east entrance. It's sort of
hidden in the side of the building. Head north on the first conveyer belt that
you come to.

Head east, south, then west along the bottom of the screen to come across Hyper
Child 2.0 a robot! Open the box after him to get Smoke Bomb for firefighter.

Head back up the conveyer belt, and down the third conveyer belt on the left.
Go up that and to the right.

Go south and to the east to find a switch. Flip it!

Get back on the conveyer belt, and head back south on it. It brings you back.
Go now to the middle belt. In the middle of the BIG belt is another
Hyper Child 2.0. Kill him, head left. Go up briefly at the fork, defeat the
third Hyper Child 2.0. Flip the switch, get back on the belt and continue to
the west. Follow the belt.

Go east all the way then north to get a cutscene with Colonel Cookie.

You now fight the Colonal Cookie and Cookie Colossus!

Head north of the Cookie Factory to visit Ogopogo and the Captain. Time to tame
her!

After taming her, talk to the Captain and he joins you.

Before we head to Panjama island, we're going to run up to Flushmoor and grab
the Fireman and Plumber.

Head north west of the Capital (across the bridge) to Flushmoor. Get into the
lake by going to the left side. it's kind of hard to see. Go south east then
north to come out by the beach.

Head into the abandoned building.

Floor 1: Northwest has a pipe. Examine it. It says nothing but does something.
Floor 2: Southwest has a pipe. Examine it. It says he'll flip it.

Down here in a caged room is the Swimming
Badge (For Camp Councelor). Just after that is a pipe you can examine. It doesnt
state anything happens but it actually does.

Now onward to Panjama Island!

Panjama island

Go to the part of Crystal Beach that has the icons near it. Put Lifeguard in
your party. Head to the very south middle of the map to go to the next area.

In the next area head to the right Peninsula to pick up a Tie-Dye Kit (artist).

Head down another screen to finally reach Panjama Island! There's a party going
on in the northeast part of the island, but some crazy clubbers are blocking it
off.

Head south. Continue south past the limbo ninja to grab the Miso soup for the
Sushi chef.

Head north east from that area through the cave. You'll get out of the cave
and encounter the Speaker Mini Boss.

Head east then south. Then all the way to the southwest to find another speaker.

Still in the south area, head east across the bridge. All the way east, then
north, make a u turn to the west to go under the bridge again and kill the
next speaker.

If you head to the right of the NInja that says "Doesnt matter how far north
DJ Voodoo is..." you can collect the 4th bee!

Head to the very southeast of the map, to where the musician is. Head north
west a little from him across the bridges to the plataeu that's sort of yellow.

Dont enter the little plataeu building, but go northeast of it. Defeat the
speaker. Continue northeast, across the bridge, and battle The Dragon.

Head north a little to get to the next map. West to another Speaker.

Go Northeast to the stage to battle DJ VooDoo and 2 Speakers!

After that battle we've got one place left! It's often considered the most
annoying place in the game... and I agree.

*Hedge Maze: South of HomeTown
*********

To Whisperwood! head to the left and down. We'll run into HedgeMaze.

This is where... you guessed it, the gardner lives! You may run across a big
green block of hedge called Mr. Maze, but he's a pushover.

To the left of the gardner's house is a hobo. Give him $5, $5, $100 to have
him join your team. (If you didn't grab him earlier)

In the house itself is not much special except for a box with Fertilizer in it
for the gardener.


Head down to go towards the maze itself. To the left by some sunflowers is
the second of the beekeeper's bees! Keep going down and east to enter.

I always "hug the wall to the right with my left hand" when I'm in mazes..
so I'll do just that.

I come across a Mr. Maze (big green guy). If i Charge from behind, i do get a
green battle! He drops Superfan's Convention Pass. Eventually I run into
superfan and another Mr. Maze that leads back to the scientist's house area.
I'll skip over that and continue on. You'll go by some thorns twice and then
hit a Mr. Maze on the right side. Kill him and you're through to the
executive suite!

BUT FIRST - if you hug the wall  continuing on, you will get to a bottom exit.
Here you will find the crazy cat lady's cat BOOTS and the Telescopic lens
for the photographer.

Make your way to the enormous pink house. On the second floor right side, you
will find a broken door. Use the handyman to fix it and you'll get Senor
Sledgehammer fo the handyman!


If you exit the 2nd floor just south of there, you can walk on the hedges. If
you go up the hedge, to the left, up, all the way around counter clockwise,
you'll make it to the other, smaller pink house. Inside is a box of hot sauce
for the bar tender.


Downstairs is a door to be fixed by the handyman. Head east and then south.
Through the door on the right and talk to the baker to recruit him, super easy!

Now at this point you need to find 2 Secret service guys to relieve the breaks
of 2 other secret service guys... Where they are in particular, I cant say...

I wandered around a LOT in this area and wasn't entirely sure of my objective.

Now once we've talked to EVERYONE....

If you wander to the right side of the beach, then north, you'll come across
an agent that REALLY has to pee and was due to go to break an hour ago.

I talked to him at first.. and he said he had to pee. I wandered around, talked
to other guards and then he said "FINALLY I CAN GO"...


Anyway, north from where he is. Same thing from another guard at the north. ONLY
I hear some people say they have to backtrack AGAIN and find another guard?

This is not true... I went through without backtracking, I had all of the
neccisary guards already talked to.

You're on a deck sort of thing now. Head to the right to find... the president?
And the robot from castle in the sky? WHA?

Defeat Agent DOOM and the Mega Mole! You dont really do anything with that but
the monsters of the area will run from you now, leaving you to explore easier.

Anyway, back to the maze. We need to get that gardener!

Make your way back to the TOP CENTER of the maze (Where you can go outside of
the maze) and go in the following directions ALL the way until you cant go
anymore.

Now you're at the gardener and didnt have to wander for 4 hours like I did!
I posted a VERY crude map of it on the GameFAQs 3DS message board. Check it out
if you're a map-y sort of person.

Oh, while I was standing in the hedge maze, it started to rain/thunder and the
Weather Lady joined me at that time.

Now that we've got the gardener, head back to the WhisperWoods Cemetary! You
need to have level 2 gardening, so get to that grinding!

Under an area with pink ground and 3 statues is a box, inside is Princess, one
of the cats!

In one of the moon gates is Tesla Coil for the Scientist. The moon gates
are open from 6pm-6am. Sun gates are open 6am to 6pm.

The protractor for the Architect is in a box across from the bridge that
the architect will build for you!

Once the Scientist says something when you enter WhisperWoods Cemetary, it's
time to continue her quest. Head to her area and there are Zombie Kittens
EVERYWHERE! Talk to her, then kill the Frankenpuss. I think there's around 10
of them. Then she joins you!


At this point I leveled my characters up to 20 to get the Yoga Instructor and
made a side trip to get Superfan. (Must have 20 citizens to get the superfan)

Now we're finally done with all the bad juju, we head back to sugarflats!

BACK TO SUGARFLATS
***

If you flew there with the pilot, head to the west to grab the Grease Can for
the pilot. Unfortuantely, you will soon find out that you cant get down from
this area. A quick way to get there if you have the Psychologist is head to
HomeTown, dream in your bed, and head to the northeast.

Now you're in the hippie camp and can go back to the Guru.

After you talk to the Guru you're done with chapter 4! But first, head back
a little ways to a cave to the north. You'll appear slightly south of where you
were. Grab the box all the way east for the Blow Torch for the Plumber.

Now talk to the secretary... but where is he? I remember seeing him last at
the Executive Resort upstairs in the northwest room.

Once you talk to him, he gives you options to get to WellSpring Desert.

3.) By stopping the sandstorm at the forbidden Desert (Weather Lady)

To Grasslands!




We'll head to the east instead.

Drive In
******

Drive the car into the screen to start a mini game. Charge (or bump) into

NO! Guy: 100pts
Hippie: 200pts
Bird: 300pts
Opposition Leader: 900pts

Cop: -500pts

You need 10,000 pts. It's not too hard! :3

Now it'll deposit you into Wellspring Desert. Head to the west side of the map
and the middle. Down by the grassy area, you can go down, to Wellspring Oasis.

Go SW and you'll run into the 6th bee. Talk to him to get that out of the
way. Go back to the north and head to the SE part. You'll find one of the cats,
Mr. Whiskerton in this area. You've got all the cats now! Feel free to run
back and grab crazy cat lady! At last! :D

Head back to Grasslands, and run into the drive-in again.


Mini Game:

Buildings: 25 till they fall

Need 45,000 pts and then you're transported to the top of a building in the
capital. Talk to the pilot and she'll join you.



Anyway, back to Wellspring Desert. (Northeast of Grasslands if you got the
pilot. When you get to the sandstorm, just get out of the car and go around)


Head north from the house and east to get to Casino Canyon! Enter and you'll
be greeted by a robot. Surprisingly, he won't attack you. Your next mission is
to get past the card sharks!

Head to the green room to buy the Loaded Dice for the Gambler. They cost ONLY
$10,000!

Now go back to the entrance, head left and to the bottom left table to play
beginner's Black jack.

It costs $100 to play. If you don't know how to play black jack here's a brief
tutorial.

Black Jack
***

The goal of the game is to come as close to the number 21 as possible without
going over. You do this by adding up the numbers of all of your cards.

A Jack is a 10, Queen is an 11, King is a 12.

Choose "Hit" if you want to add a new card to your pile

Choose "Stand" if you are close enough to 21 that you're afraid you may go
over with another card.

After you've won 5 rounds, head to the north where the robot is. Even though
you guys pinkie swore not to fight, it has to happen.

After you battle Honcho Villa and Opposition Leader, head into the room to the
north. Talk to the Gambler, find out info about his debt.

Talk to the Opposition Leader and help him with the debt. ($5,000)

Exit the Casino and to the west (past a bush) is a trash can with Glad Rags in
it for the Homeless Guy.

The next part you might wanna hold off till you beat the area boss because of
how many monsters there are.. but here's an item to pick up!

If you want to grab the Kettlebell & Umbrella
~~~

In the northeast corner is the Umbrella for the Weather lady.

Next: Head to the west
and down once you get a chance. when you get to the last Frantic Fisherman, you
can head down into the water. Head south and you can get back on the land on
both sides near the bottom. It's kind of hard to see. Head to the left side and
then up. Lift the rock to get the Kettlebell for the BodyBuilder.


Otherwise, from the casino step down into the river, it's hard to see where, but
follow the coast and you'll get it. Go around the corner to the left and
get back on land and walk to the west to get to Moonbucks. Easy!



Go inside the Moonbucks and explore. We'll try hugging the wall to the left.
You'll come across Yoga mat for the Yoga Instructor!

Go west through a hole in the wall. We'll keep going left like before. You'll
come across another energy sphere like at the hippie camp. Talk to it and

Wha? A Photon joins your team. Keep hugging the wall until you get to a blue
teleporter like in the original moonbucks. Take it, then hug left till you
get up on some dirt. Keep hugging left and you'll go back to moonbucks floor.

Keep going and someone will start a cutscene. Now battle the Mishmaster.

After the battle continue north and west. Keep following the path south till
you get to a blue teleporter.

An alien escorts you to his leader.

The leader locks you up.

We're breakin outta here! Hug the wall to the right this time. Avoid the
teleporters and keep to the right till you're in a big room that leads to the
room with telefawn in the pod.  Activate the teleporters in the upper left
of the big room, then step on the teleporter that you JUST passed.

Head north all the way. Through another teleporter near a box. Head south west
a little and talk to the alien that's guarding the energy. At the bottom
right side of this map is the Radar Array for the Photon.

Head back to the northwest area. Step through the first teleporter you see.
You're back to the area by the telefawn. Head south all the way until you
cant go south anymore. Now head east till you can see the earth.

Go around the earth counter clockwise to get to the north east area. Go
down through a closed door and to the right you'll see more animals in test
tubes. Head east and then north to find a sleeping Alien Underling at a
computer. Talk to him to battle him.

Follow the right side wall down to a computer to disengage power circuits.
Head northwest for a ways then head north east to talk to a marine. You want
to hug the wall with your left hand south now. Past the swamp, underwater areas
south through a door. From the door head  west past the little pink lined
bridge, and south through the door right after that.

Continue south east, then go west when you can. Above the little areas that
lead to nowhere (kind of reminds me of roots) is the final computer that
disengages the anti-gravity. Now we have to confront the Alien Commander!

You're now floating! Head back to the area with the earth and go through the
teleporter that's floating.

Time to battle the ALIEN COMMANDER!

Head south. The Firehouse is open. If you havent grabbed the Jump Rope from
floor 2, do that now. In the pharmacy you can pick up WeedKiller for the
Farmer ($250)

Head counterclockwise up to where the beekeeper was. You'll talk to the
secretary supreme.

At this point I ran up to Appleton Farms to grab the beekeeper herself.

Make your way to behind the school for the battle! He drops the Rubber band
ball (Secretary)


Now time for the VP to battle the Misery Machine!

After that battle head to the bottom right of the map to the house with a
recruitment symbol on it. Finally, the secretary!

Charge: Send your citizens charging ahead! If you can ambush an enemy, you'll
       be rewarded...

Energy: Energy (o) is displayed below a citizen's HP, and it is what fuels
       their attacks. Some abilities consume energy. Others generate energy
       to be spent.

Status Effects: Can provide a variety of buffs and debuffs.

DEF Down: Lowers Defense, causing characters to take more damage from physical
         attacks.

ATK Down: Lowers Attack, causing characters to deal less damage with physical
         attacks.

SP-ATK Up: Raises SP-Attack causing characters to deal more damage with special
          attacks.

AGI Up: Raises Agility, which increases Accuracy and Dodge and causes
       characters to act earlier in the round.

Confusion: Characters have a chance to attack a random target.

Distraction: Characters have a chance to do nothing at all on their turn.

Sickness: Characters take damage after acting.

The Same effects can also stack with themselves. 2 AGI up (Wheel)(Wheel) AGI Up
effects, which amplifies the stat boost.

A Status effect's duration is measured by how full the icon is.

Ability Types: There are 2 types of attacks. Physical & Special.
Physical Abilities: Deal more damage based on Attack, and the recipient can
lessen the blow based on his or her Defense.

Special Abilities: Modified by SP-ATK and SP-DEF.

Elements: There are 7 different elements.

Pink: Normal
Red: Thermal
Green: Bio
Brown: Muscle
Blue: Hydro
Yellow: Lightning
Purple: Verbal

Citizens and enemies may be strong against some elements and weak against
others. If you attack with their elemental weakness, you gain 1 Energy. If you
attack with an element that they are strong against, you lose 1 Energy.
Choosing the right citizen to capitalize on enemy weakness is crucial for
success.
