I have from a reliable source that if you want make a trip to |
|
Rockafeller Refuge and want to dock at Joseph's habor, don't |
|
waiste your time. It is still closed and under construction. |
|
Also the bay is like chocolate milk and you probably won't do to |
|
good with it like this unless your croaker fishing. |

Talking about opening it in August. Hopefully it's going to be a |

nice boat landing. I'm ready to go get some shrimp and crabs. |

East end should open at the end of July begenning of Augest, |
|
Joseph harbor... maybe September. |

Just looked up Rockafeller's boat landing (Joseph Harbor). Might |
|
open September 1. |

Talked with Brac Slayers. With the weather like its been there |
|
is no telling when it will be opened. |

That probably should have been a winter project when it's closed |
|
to the public not in the peak fishing time. (Backwards again.) |

Their thoughts were that they would close the east launch |
|
through last winter and finish that project by april in which |
|
they would open the east launch and close the west launch in |
|
April then the project there would be finished mid July. Their |
|
projected timeline in the East side went way off so they went |
|
ahead and started on the west side so at this point they are |
|
shooting for the end of sepember beginning of October. When it |
|
comes down to it it'll be open next spring and the facilitys |
|
will be nice. fingers crossed... |

Went to Joseph Harbor yesterday. Nice boat landing. Kept 10 |
|
dozen nice crabs. Fixing to boil them this after noon. |
