How, Where, and When Should You Plan Your Next Fishing Trip

With some of us having very little time to do the things we
love, time is a valuable thing that must not be wasted. A lot of
us have that one window of opportunity to plan that special
fishing trip. There is much to consider when doing so. Weather
is one factor that plays a major part in some sportsman's
decision to take that trip along with river stages, tides,
availability of bait, and many other factors that most of you
can think of. Predicting if the fish are turned on is like
trying to find a needle in a hay stack sometimes especially for
those who don't get on the water often. If you rely on hear say
from other fisherman, you may end up with a waisted trip. Most
of the time, this advice comes to late or when the bite is
almost over. My advice to those who don't want to waiste time is
to keep records of when, where, condtions, and bait you caught
on. This will help you to pinpoint and narrow down a good time
to plan that trip. If you are going to use the hear say method,
get it from somebody who is a reliable source of information and
would not send you on a wild goose chase. I know I am leaving a
few things out but feel free to add your thoughts. The most
important thing of all when you are on that planned trip is to
be safe, have fun, and be courteous to other sportsman.

You gotta enjoy it WHEN you can. The rest is all details.
Sometimes everything comes together, sometimes it doesn't. If
you wait for everything to line up perfectly, your rig will
catch more leaves then fish.
