Mathews Z7 Xtreme Tactical

I am doing this review on my Mathews Z7
Xtreme Tactical. First off, I choose to go with this bow after
reading many reviews good and bad on this bow. Every bow has
both goods and bads and no bow is flawless. With that said, I
decided to go with a Mathews after shooting many other bows such
as the Hoyt Vector Turbo, Mathews Heli-M, Bowtech Insanity CPX,
and PSE Omen and EVO. This is a must thing to do when choosing
to spend high dollars on a bow such as these. I felt that out of
all the ones I shot, the Mathews were the ones for me. I have
shot Hoyt in the past and love them, but this time, I felt I
needed to go with something different. It came down to the
Mathews Heli-M and the Z7 Xtreme in the end. After shooting
these 2 bows, I search relentlessly for review after review
before making my decision. After weeks of torment reading all
the reviews, I finally decided on the Z7 Xtreme. Just for those
who are wondering, the tactical edition is just my personal
preference and I got a really good deal on it. This finish is
1099 dollars brand new and those of you who watched my youtube
video know that I got it for 725. I went with the Z7 Xtreme
because of the axel to axel length and smooth draw with 80% let
off. The Heli-M is almost identical to the Z7 Xtreme but is 30
inches axel to axel, it is 3.5lbs (Z7 Xtreme is 3.98lbs), and
has what many say is cheap looking parts to save on the weight
of the bow. The cheap looking parts to save on weight was the
part I really didn't care for on the Heli-M. No one really had
problems with them but I wasn't looking to take the chance. All
and all, I have not had a problem with the Z7 Xtreme yet and is
very satisfied. It is not the fastest bows on the market but I
knew that when I bought it. You will not get blazing 340 fps
plus out of this bow but you will get a smooth 310fps plus out
of this bow that will not rip you shoulder off to shoot it. With
80% let off, you can hold this bow at full draw for a good while
before getting tired. Shots are smooth and flat as you can kind
of see in some of the youtube videos I have done. There were
absolutely no tuning issues with this bow at all. If you read
the reviews on them, some people may grip about it, but I
haven't had one yet. Here are the specs. on the bow for you that
want to know.

What I really like about the bow other than the fact it shoots
awesome, is the fact you can customize some of the features in
different colors like seen on my bow with the flo green harmonic
damping system. I am pretty sure I left out a few things on this
review but it will be continued as I use it more. I will get
some longer shots in with it on video as soon as I can so you
can see distance shots with it. Thanks and let me know if you
have any questions or have anything to input on this.
