Forum Phone Apps

Does createaforum.com have a phone app? If you want you can
look into Proboards.com. I use them for another forum I visit
and proboards Android/Iphone App is flippin sweet and makes
posting very convenient on the phone instead of using the phone
browser. And you can upload pics directly from your phone
instead of using an image hosting site. Just throwing it out
there to add to the suggestion board.
Proboards do charge $2-$4 for downloading the app.

I am gonna get on this as soon as I am done with our house swap.
My summer semester for college is over and I have a little time
before I start fall semester. Gonna get a few more things up and
running on this site. Gonna finally try to get that smiles thing
done also.

On the smiles thing you can put in html code in the global
header I believe to use a drop down menu that houses all the
extra smilies.

Create a forum doesn't have phone apps. I looked at pro boards
and I like that they did a phone app for there members. I think
we could transfer this forum to them if we wanted but I am not
100% sure on that. I want to add someone to our administration
that has a lot of knowledge about computer stuff and writing
code. I have talked to bigj about this and I am sure burns would
agree on this. I would be ok if this person was strictly about
computer and have very little outdoor knowledge. This would give
us enough time to do what we do best. I am not against profit
sharing with this person pending admin. board approval. We are
just staring to get in this and still have a long way to go but
things will get better and better as we go. We are looking to
become one of the top forums on the net. Guess only time will
tell but we got a good plan in place to get there. We want to
make this site totally enjoyable and as informative about
realalistic situations that the average person can do. Let me
know if you have any more input for us.

Word. I'll give as much input as I can.
eta: A lot that I bring is from my experience on TD which is
where I got the All Day Thread idea from, which is a combination
of the Good Morning Thread, Lunch Thread, Evening Drinking
Thread and Late Night Snack Thread haha. Figured I would put
one up and see how it floats. It's a nifty idea of a thread
cause it's keeps on a normal conversation which keeps posters
interacting with the site while sharing day to day activities
(kinda like meeting at the water cooler conversation). Anyone
can start one each morning if one hasn't been started yet cause
I know there'll be a lot of times I won't be up so early before
anyone else.
My other experience is with Proboards on the BR2 forum and a
private one I admin for my old fraternity chapter. On the
private forum I play around with html code for design and
concept ideas as a pet project when I'm not focusing on
important things lol.
Hope anything I bring will be of great use.

My bad I've noticed today that the everyday threads can be
problematic as to taking over the General Discussion with ADT
titles. I'll reduce to all week long threads perhaps. Just let
me know if it's better to cut these out all together.

tketaco, we have done it. We have linked the forum to a phone
app via tapatalk. You can now start, post topics and upload
pictures from your iphone or android mobile device. I absoultely
love it!!! Makes managing things a whole lot easier.

LoL, I was just looking into this a couple hours ago when I saw
the phone app on Google Play. So I emailed them about
Createaforum.com and told me it was good to go. That's
outstanding news man, glad you're enjoying it. It's the same
people that make the proboards app.
