Labour/Labor day... Have a great one!
By: ReverendBeast Date: August 29, 2017, 11:23 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Have a great Labor Day! Which, apparently, has absolutely
nothing to do with having babies. This was news to me. Turns
out it is about the labor force and their contribution to the
economyor something like that. I tried to read an article
about it but it was just soooo boring. Honestly I couldnt get
past the first line. They say its also the unofficial end of
summer which just makes me sad, but then I remember that we are
only a month away from hockey season, so not too sad. Still, I
liked it better when I thought Labor Day was a celebration of
the day that the most babies are born. That should be a
holiday. We could all get a day off work and eat birthday cake
and inhale helium from balloons. Or, better yetsince its labor
day we could all get free epidurals. That would be a way better
holiday than whatever the heck the real Labor Day is. What do
people even do on Labor Day? I usually clean out my closets.
(Thats right. I know how to have a good time). I know what
they do in Canada for Labor Day. They start out by spelling
labor wrong. (Its Labor Day not Labour Day @ssholes). Then
they sit around judging Americans. But then again, thats what
they do every day. They think they are so great. I can just
hear their annoying little whiney Canadian accented voices: Oh
look at us, were Canadians, eh? Were so polite and nice, eh?
We have excellent gun control laws and a really low violent
crime rate, eh? We accept everyone eh? We invented hockey, eh?
We love everyone eh? We are so much better than Americans, eh?
Marijuana is legal here, eh? We are so much smarter too, eh? We
have a better healthcare system, eh? Tim Hortonss coffee is the
best, eh? We have more alcohol in our beer, eh? Our Prime
Minister is way better looking than your stupid, orange
president, eh? Well guess what Canada? You can sit up there
in your snowbanks feeling all smug and superior, making every
statement sound like a super polite question, and looking down
your noses at your idiotic, backwards, racist southern
neighbors. But the joke is on you. I mean, sure you have us on
the Hockey thingand the coffee thing. Seriously Tim Hortons
coffee is really, really goodand oddly addictive, like they put
crack in it. And sure, you are probably a little more accepting
of others than we are here in the U.S., and you end every
sentence with Eh? which is really kind of adorablebut thats
not the point. None of that is the point. The point is that
your economy is directly linked to ours. So if we go down, were
bringing you with us. Thats right. You are like the barnacle
stuck to the side of the sinking ship. Stick that in your maple
syrup scented weed and smoke it, eh?
Have a great Labor Day weekend everyone! Clean out some closets,
eat some cake, inhale some heliumhellget an epidural. You
deserve it! You work hard. Weve had a crazy busy summer. Its
time for a nice relaxing long weekend. (Except Canada. They can
suck itGo Bruins)!

I missed the legalisation of POT man ( and yes I used an S and
not a Zeee, and by the way it is Zed), we in Canadair do not
have legal pot, however our southern brothers do, kinda in some
states though still not legal federally.
And it is labour, why be stingy with "U", think about
(pronounced AahBOOT) it ?!!EH.
